By the end of the week everyone one from Team Kazuma had endured their first week of work, with the group having mixed feelings and results about the matter.
Kazuma, in spite of him giving away those vacation tickets to Hawaii, was still dealing with stacks of paperwork, for not only his own, but also for Ms. Smith as she hardly ever does this work herself and usually leaves it to the Mons Squad to fill out.
This and on top of his stain image amongst his coworkers had left himself nearly alone for the most part, especially since the Mon Squad is always out on the run in ensuring safety amongst liminials and humans alike.
Still the fact he got paid a nice salary was awesome, as he left the office early on Friday to cash out his check and do some grocery shopping, maybe even go to the Pachinko parlor, who knows.
Darkness for the most part was on top of her game and living her life, with her not only getting the crap beaten out of her when assisting liminials on workouts that no sane human would do, plus the fact she got a lot of misogynistic men staring at her like a piece of meat excited her to no ends.
Still there were times where Polt had to intervene and check up on her before getting herself killed, but that was just about it.
As for Megumin, she got together with her boss and joined her friends in the promise LARPing and well it wasn't what she expected, but none the less wasn't disappointed mind you.
Granted she wish she and her new friends could cast actual magic like before, but given how much she's regarded as a badass amongst her peers, she's more than willing to settle.
As for work, it's alright for the most part, since her job is greeting customers, stacking product and occasionally mopping floors, but the best part has to be the free daily Slurpee and yakisoba pan break whenever she comes in.
As for Aqua, she was doing a great job, she knew how to deal with customers, and especially knew how to entertain kids given she still had access to her party trick skill.
Her only real complaint is that it's usually her coming home in the evening to tired to want to do anything, besides making sure she helps Yuuhi take a bath and go to bed, but honestly her life will be better once she gets booze.
Unfortunately she won't get paid until next week, which sucks considering she has expensive wants.
Otherwise the one night where she had to close up shop did suck since she had to help do a thorough cleaning, stack up chairs and even hep take out the garbage before she was free to go.
But at long last everyone had a few days to themselves and were ready to enjoy their weekend in peace.
As for the house guest, they were bored at home when not going next door and hanging with their neighbors, but now they hope they can all do something fun since it is the weekend.
"Hey, where's our blood bag and his 3 floozies" asked Leechi as she's reading the recent liminial catalogue on making their house stay life not only fun but convenient.
"Well Darkness should be back soon along with our Count, Megumin is off to join her friends for another LARPing event, and Aqua had left to work a few hours ago so we should expect her back in like 2-3 hours from now" said Curie as she was drinking a spinach smoothie and a plate of chocolate chip cookies next to Yuuhi.
"Our Count, eh" commented Moskii, "It's nothing don't think much of it" said Curie defensively, "Good, cause I'd honestly feel bad if I had to beat the crap out of you if there was more to that little pet name of yours" said Killa as she cracked her knuckles in front of Curie.
And just like that, Curie proved the world she could turn even more pale, but all those shenanigans stopped when coming through the front door were Darkness and Kazuma.
"Ladies, I'm home" called Kazuma as he was easily circled in by the homestays closest to him who insisted they take away his jacket, sunglasses and briefcase.
"So how was work today hero" asked Killa, "It was meh, still doing paperwork for not only me, but for my lazy ass boss Ms. Smith, and today they were gone cause apparently they had to go and bust a sting operation where they were exploiting a bunch of Succubus and lesser imps for providing services at a soap land" said Kazuma as he was upset both cause he missed his chance on possibly getting repaid in a more personal way and because such a place existed and he couldn't go there and enjoy it as a customer in the first place.
"Sorry to hear that blood bag, but hey you can forget about it all starting tomorrow" said Leechi, "Ah yes, the weekend, thank god" said as he went and sat down on the couch with Yuuhi coming in and sitting on his lap.
"Hey Kazuma Onii-chan remember your promise to me last night" said Yuuhi, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot, ok just give me a few minutes to rest and change and we'll head out right now" said Kazuma said.
"Wait, what did you promise to do with the squirt" asked Killa, "Oh nothing special, just go to Aqua's job and eat some pancakes while we wait for her to leave" said Kazuma as the whole thing was for Yuuhi since she misses her time hanging with Aqua.
"Hold on now, you guys get to go out and enjoy pancakes late at night, while you got nothing special laid for us, way to break a girls heart blood bag" said Leechi, "Now hold on don't get all butt hurt on me now, I've got something nice for us to do tomorrow as a whole household" said Kazuma.
"It better be good juice box, otherwise before the weekend ends, you, me, Leechi, and Yatsume are gonna spend the night before you go back into work privately in your bedroom, leaving you too drain and tired too start the work week right" warned Moskii.
Now the idea of spending the night with 3 girls privately in one's bedroom and feeling left fatigue sounds like a dream come true to most men, but once you remember who they were and reading through the poorly stated sentence and Kazuma knows that he'll be left in the same physical state as Curie.
"It is, now if you don't mind, I gotta get changed" said Kazuma as he slipped out that situation to get ready as he still felt the intense jealous stares from the back of his head.
"So Darkness, how was work today" asked Moskii, "Good, I actually got teased and even seduced by one of our regulars today" said Darkness, "You mean that Minotaur who wears those heart shaped holes in the hotpants he wears" asked Killa.
"Yup he's the one, oh how he entices me to assault him as much as he publicly professes his sexual desires that he plans to do to me" said Darkness as she squirmed in place.
"Shoot, if you really like being treated that way and with the guy who doesn't hide the fact he's a pervert, why not go out with him already" asked Leechi as that was a very good question.
"Yeah, in fact why don't you" asked Killa as the girls began to group on Darkness to know why she doesn't, not because they care whom she dates, but it just meant one less rival for Kazuma's heart.
"Alright, I'm ready to go, Yuuhi please grab a jacket and we can leave" said Kazuma as he came out changed back in his regular everyday attire and saved Darkness from an uncomfortable confrontation.
"I'm gonna shower, Kazuma don't expect my bath water to be around when you get back" said Darkness, "Seriously it was that one time and one time only" said Kazuma as Yuuhi was waiting for him at the door, jacket and shoes on.
"Alright ladies, I'll be back" said Kazuma as he began to slide on his shoes as the girls felt miffed about being left home alone, "Bring us some pancakes" said Moskii.
"Order of pancakes coming up" said Kazuma as he and Yuuhi were out the door with the little undead holding onto Kazuma's hand and staying close by his side.
"So how was your day Yuuhi, did you finished up your schoolwork" asked Kazuma, "I did, my teacher said they'll be mailing my report card soon" said Yuuhi.
"That's good to know" said Kazuma with a smile, "Anything else" asked Kazuma, "I did get to hang out with Lala Onee-chan earlier, but she said she had to go back home because she was preparing for a some sort of house battle to the death" said Yuuhi.
"Ah, I see" said Kazuma as he was still annoyed by just about anyone with middle school syndrome, which is a shame since Lala's got a great body, she's a competent gamer, plus he's more than certain back in a fantasy world she'd be 10 times more competent than Megumin if not, at the very least more easy to manage.
Still they continued to small talk up until they got to Aqua's job where the hostess brought them to their seat and left them some menu's.
They fortunately didn't had to wait long as Aqua spotted them and came to their table at an instant.
"Kazuma, Yuuhi, what are you 2 doing here" asked Aqua, "Yuuhi here wanted to see you, plus I promised to get her and everyone back home some pancakes" said Kazuma cooly.
"Aqua Onee-chan, how are you" asked Yuuhi, "I'm doing good actually, but now that you're here I feel better" said Aqua as she tousled her hair.
"Well I better get to work and start taking your orders, so what will it be guys" asked Aqua, "Chocolate chip pancakes" said Yuuhi, "Get me the 3x3x3 for here, and an odd order say like 50-80 pancakes to go" said Kazuma.
"Alright big spender, though I hope to expect a big tip for this" said Aqua with a cheeky smile, "We don't tip here in Japan remember" said Kazuma as Aqua looked at him with the face of realization.
"Is that why I've never seen anyone leaving us a tip" said Aqua, "Yeah, it's just not a thing here like back in the other world or hell anywhere outside of America" said Kazuma.
"Wow, and here I thought people were either stingy or cheap" said Aqua as she could really have used that tip money for say something like a bottle of wine, maybe some sake bombs or even a 6 pack at this point.
"Yeah honestly, I admit it does kinda suck here, but it's the social norm unfortunately" said Kazuma as not being tipped for doing such hard work did fucking suck and is probably gonna think about the possibility of really move to America if not for the tips or for the legalize gambling there.
"Well, I'll be back with your guys orders and drinks" said Aqua as she left them alone with Kazuma playing Hate/Grand Order and Yuuhi playing on the Switch.
As Aqua went to hand the order ticket over, she got to making their drinks and have a quick chat with her senpai and the very woman who hired her, Yaya.
"Hey Aqua, is that the young men who was with you on the day you got hired here" asked Yaya, "Oh, yeah that's Kazuma" said Aqua.
"And who's the little girl, is she perhaps your guys' daughter" asked Yaya as Aqua nearly dropped the drinks upon such accusations, "Oh no, that's Yuuhi, she's our house guest and is more like our little sister, also me and Kazuma are definitely not together" said Aqua.
"I see, well regardless you both have a cute kid" said Yaya, "Thank you" said Aqua before handing the duo their drinks and continued to work.
Eventually Kazuma and Yuuhi got to enjoy their pancakes, and would patiently wait for not only their order, but Aqua to get out with their check in hand, and boy was the goddess was left dumbfounded since Kazuma not only handed in his credit card, but also his a special government official homestay host card which significantly lowered the cost of the bill that is before adding in Aqua's employee discount to the matter.
In the end, the trio left with about 10 or so plastic bags in their hands filled with pancakes as they were ready to walk back home, however trouble seems to have find Kazuma wherever they go.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't mister playboy big shot" came an all to familiar voice, "For fuck sakes" mouthed Kazuma as he turn his head to see the rude couple once more.
"You son of a bitch, I'm tired of being humiliated by you, and this time you're gonna pay in both money and broken bones" said the man, "You tell him baby" said the woman.
Kazuma said nothing but stared at them apathetically since he had feared for the day he'd run into these guys with Yuuhi in his presence or when he's entirely cumbersome with stuff.
So really not in the mood with dealing with these guys, he set down the food and casted bind on the couple as they were left immobile on the cold ground.
"Kazuma, who are these people" asked Aqua, "Don't worry about it, just go on ahead with Yuuhi, I'm gonna take care of things from here" said Kazuma as he began to approach them.
"What the hell are you, some kind of freak like the rest of the monsters that roam the streets" said the man, "Oh you're in big trouble now, once we get the authorities involve, you and those monsters of yours are going to be deported forever" said the woman.
"Nope, I'm actually a 100% human, just with special abilities, as for getting the government involved I wouldn't advise it since you clearly tried to assault not only a little girl who is indeed a liminial, but a government official employee" said Kazuma as he finally shut these 2 up.
"So, unless you want me to burn you both to cinders under the grounds of attempted assault and verbal assault against a minor and liminial, I'd advise that you both piss off an never come find me again" said Kazuma as he casted tinder in the air to further intimidate them.
"Right whatever you say or want man" said the man as this satisfied Kazuma as he began to pick pocket the man of whatever money he had in his wallet, before tossing it back on his face.
"Consider this as compensation for getting my pancakes cold" said Kazuma as he turn tail and picked up their take out and proceeded to go back home with Yuuhi and Aqua.
"Hey, Aqua, how about after we drop off the food and put Yuuhi to sleep, we hit up a pachinko parlor" said Kazuma, "Only if you promise to get me some booze along the way" said Aqua.
"What no fair, Kazuma Onii-chan and Aqua Onee-chan are going out on a late night date without me" said Yuuhi.
"It sucks but we got a busy day tomorrow so you have to go to bed early" said Kazuma as Yuuhi pouted, but not for long as it means she'll have Aqua and or Kazuma read to her before the night ends.
Once they got home, everyone was waiting for them and were wide eye in joy of the sight of how much pancakes Kazuma had got them.
Once everyone got to enjoy their dinner, things began to wind down for everyone, well almost everyone.
As everyone ready themselves to turn in for the day, Team Kazuma began to dress up for the night.
As Kazuma wore his normal everyday attire, the girls were wearing something more modern and more normal for the most part.
Examples would be Megumin wearing a red t-shirt with the lead heroine of the current season to the Pre-cure series dabbed in the center, jogger pants, red converse, denim jacket and a snap back hat.
Darkness wore more or less her usual work/workout uniform, except she wore white sweater and decided to let her hair down for the evening.
As for Aqua, she wore a light blue and white dress, blue heels, and had decided to carry herself a black cardigan in her hands since she wasn't expecting Kazuma to share his jacket with her later on.
Once dressed they all quietly left the house and ready to enjoy themselves a night of fun as Kazuma would lead them into town.
Their first stop was a liquor store and while Megumin herself wasn't allowed to drink, Kazuma had no interest getting drunk tonight either, so really it was meant more for Darkness and Aqua.
"All right ladies, don't say I don't do nice things for you guys" said Kazuma as he handed Aqua a six pack and wasted no time popping a can open and chug down her first beer in a while.
"Oh god, I really needed that Kazuma" gasped Aqua in satisfaction, "Yeah, just don't go to crazy on the beer now, cause that's all I'm buying" said Kazuma as he handed Megumin some sort of power aid like sports drink.
"Stingy, but I don't care" said Aqua as she wasted no time in drinking her next beer as Darkness barely popped the top of her first one.
"So what else you had planned for us tonight Kazuma" asked Darkness, "Well I was planning for us to hit up this arcade that's open past midnight, maybe even hit up the pachinko parlor, which I'll do alone, and than who knows, we'll see from there" said Kazuma.
"Sounds like fun to me" said Aqua who's cheeks were already going red, "Sounds like you kept me in mind as well" said Megumin as she was drinking her sports drink in peace.
"Sounds like you have just about everything planned" said Darkness, "I do for the most part, but if I've learned anything from my time with you girls my plans never seem to go through, which is why I'm choosing to remain sober" said Kazuma.
"Now let's quit our talking and get to walking around town" said Kazuma as he began to lead his party to fun night just between the 4 of them, but by the time they were getting close to our destination, they saw a pair of familiar faces.
"Hey Kazuma, isn't that horse girl what's her name and that slutty spider who has her eyes on you and our next door neighbor" asked Aqua as she was clearly drunk already.
"Wow, your only 4 cans into some cheap beer and you're already shit faced" said Kazuma as he was starting to believe that while Aqua may not only have a potential alcohol problem, but is in fact a damn lightweight.
"Rachnee, Centorea, what are you 2 doing out here this late, and without your homestay host no less" asked Darkness, "Well miss nobler than thou here only sleeps for a handful of hours throughout the day, while yours truly lives for the night life" explained Rachnee.
"As for us being out in public without milord, we're allowed to roam the streets so long as we carry these passes with us" said Centorea as she showed off her ID pass to roam the streets freely.
"What about you guys, what are you up to" asked Rachnee, "Heh, Kazuma here is acting like a gentlemen for once and is treating the 3 of us out" said Aqua as she leaned on Kazuma.
"Well if thou would be interested, would you care to join us, there's this fort we normally gather towards that's serve to be both liminial and human friendly as the sole minstrel is able to as Miia would say drop the beat" said Centorea.
"Yeah, it'll be fun and nice to actually go there with some of our neighbors from next door for once" said Rachnee, "I'm down so long as they got booze" said Aqua.
"I've actually been curious to visit these night clubs for a while now" said Darkness as her interest has been peaked, "Hold on, the only problem I have is if they would allow Megumin to enter" said Kazuma as he didn't want to be a buzzkill, but is willing to for a multitude of reasons.
"Probably not, but don't worry I got her covered" said Rachnee, "Than let's go and have some fun" cheered Megumin as she was glad someone was looking out for her and not leaving her to feel excluded for anything.
As the group headed out to their destination, Kazuma could only sigh in defeat as he knew this night was definitely one he wanted to forget, if he's able to.
The Next Day
It was 1 pm by the time Kazuma woke up from bed, and the first thing he did was puke in the toilet bowl before hopping in the shower to wake himself up.
Once he felt refreshed, he stepped out his room to be met with angry, accusing glares from his homestays, specifically the ones he didn't go out with.
"Um… morning" Kazuma said innocently as the first person to approach him was Killa, and boy did she approach him with a swift slap to the face.
"You… jerk" said Killa as she sounded really hurt, "Huh" said Kazuma innocently as he was confused on a multitude of reasons right now.
"Yeah Kazuma, you're a really jerk to us" said Leechi not using the pet name she had given him, which was a clear indicator he must have did something wrong to really upset his homestays.
"Seriously what did I do" squeaked Kazuma as the girls pulled him to the couch and showed him both photos and videos of what happened last night.
Everything that he had hope to forget last night was revealed as memories of the things and said came back to him.
Be it how he spent the night drinking about 3 cups of Pink Fuck, before he saw videos of him either grouping Darkness and Centorea nonchalantly, taking shots out of Rachnee's tits, how he had drunkenly made out with Aqua while both went on second base on one another.
But that wasn't the worst part, the worst memory that he had deliberately hope to never recall was when he suddenly appeared from out the back room dressed in nothing more than a denim vest and denim hot pants with heart shaped holes in the back revealing his well refined ass cheeks to the world, and began to not only dance for the girls he met, but also a few liminial babes he's never met before.
Instantly Kazuma felt a sense of shame for not only getting wasted, but for grinding on not only girls he knew and didn't knew like a discount stripper as he was stuck looking at a photo of him grinding on this one girl who wore a sash that said bachelorette.
"Please for the love of god tell me this isn't on the internet" begged a mortified Kazuma, "It's not, at least not yet" said Yatsume as Kazuma had a bad feeling when she said that.
"Please girls, I'm begging you not to upload any of those photos or videos on the internet, I mean shit I could lose my job or even worse" pleaded Kazuma.
"Oh we won't, but we want something in return" said Moskii, "Fine just name your price, I'll do it" said Kazuma as he was mentally preparing himself to spend a lot of money and visiting a lot of underground casinos.
"We know you would, which is why starting tomorrow you're going to take each of us out, on a one on one date, now we're not expecting anything fancy, but we are expecting you to be romantic" said Yatsume.
"So if at any point you leave anyone of us feel disappointed, or unsatisfied, we will upload these photos and videos on the web, are we clear" said Yatsume as Kazuma didn't really had much of a choice on the matter.
"Crystal" was all but the only words that came out of Kazuma, "Good, now we got you some breakfast ready for you and your friends ready, and once you feel energized, we expect you to spoil us like you said you would yesterday" said Leechi.
"Right, I didn't forget" said Kazuma as he felt that they were only gonna be nice for him until the end of the day, cause starting tomorrow is the first day of judgement day for Kazuma.
Woohoo another chapter uploaded before the holidays and the end of the year guys, so I hope you all enjoyed it.
Otherwise starting next chapter, we'll be going through a series of one on one dates with Kazuma involving his homestays, including Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin, along with some of the girls next door in a sense, so really hope you guys stick around to see that when it happens.
Other than that if there's like a dating scenario as to what you'd like to see between your favorite, your opinion on the best girl, or just in general I am open to some suggestions.
