The day had arrived for Kazuma To take Yuuhi out on their date, which oddly enough was the one he was most excited about, and no it's not because in a few years from now she will be classified as a legal loli.
It was more of the fact he had Zombina covering him to leave work a few hours early, so he could spend the whole day with her, and have some fun in the sun like it was a Saturday afternoon.
Right now, Kazuma was waiting in the waiting room to a special clinic that Yuuhi and Zombina go to in order to maintain their appearance and not slowly decay and rot given how they are still corpses.
After a few hours of waiting, Zombina and Yuuhi both exited the clinic feeling rejuvenated.
"Thanks for waiting new guy" said Zombina as Kazuma put his phone away and got up to take Yuuhi's hand, "Least I can do, with you doing me this solid" said Kazuma.
"Just remember, next time I've got a pickle of my own to deal with, you owe me" said Zombina as Kazuma nodded in agreement as they all left the clinic with Zombina hopping back in the MON Squad Van.
"See you tomorrow Kazuma" said Zombina before finally speeding off back to work, leaving the duo alone.
"Well, ready to have some fun Yuuhi" asked Kazuma, "Almost we're just missing someone" said Yuuhi as this threw Kazuma in for a loop as he didn't recall about agreeing this date turning into a threesome.
Running up to them, still in her work uniform was Aqua as she came to a halt when she saw that Kazuma was there with Yuuhi.
"Eh, what are you doing here NEET!" exclaimed Aqua with an accusing finger, "I should be asking the same from you useless goddess" said Kazuma.
"I had Zombina onee-chan to call Aqua onee-chan while she was at work to come pick me up, so that the 3 of us could hang together" said Yuuhi honestly.
You little sneak, thought Kazuma as he began to tousle Yuuhi's hair.
"You rascal, I should be upset at you, but a part of me can't help but admire your sneakiness" said Kazuma as Yuuhi giggled over being praised by her actions.
"Yuuhi, real talk though, me and Kazuma aren't on the best of terms right now, so while Kazuma is willing to praise you, I can't, nor can I stick around with this NEET" said Aqua as she glared daggers at Kazuma.
"Fine, go and leave, I'm suppose to have fun with Yuuhi for some one on one time with Yuuhi anyways" said Kazuma, "Look out people, there's a pedo NEET out on the lose!" shouted Aqua.
"Oh shut up and leave already!" shouted Kazuma, "Fine, I will!" yelled Aqua as both were ready to part ways but Yuuhi wasn't having any of it.
"NO! I don't want either of you to go!" shouted Yuuhi the loudest as this got everyone's, and I do mean everyone's attention.
"You 2 are never home together at the same time anymore, and even when I'm asleep you 2 still fight each other, well I won't have it, cause today is my day for the 3 of us to be together like a happy family for the first time since forever!" shouted Yuuhi.
Instantly the crowd began to amongst themselves and what they're saying about our favorite fortunate misfortunate duo is really getting to them.
"These 2 are never home any more for there daughter"
"The nerve of some people who'd put their own little girl through such heart ache"
"Her man must spend his allowance at the nudie bars while neglecting his wife and daughter back at home"
"The wife must be a real bitch to cause such a scene and shout profane lies about her husband, especially in front of her daughter no less"
"I bet she works part time only to avoid being a proper mother, in spite of having a handsome young man who already provides everything and anything for them"
"If what she said is true, then he's barely getting his act together while planning to attack his daughter at some point by the end of today"
"Those 2 are the picture definition of bad parents".
And the comments went on and on as Kazuma and Aqua were now at the center of attention and none of it got any nicer.
"Hey Aqua, I'm willing to make up so long as you join today, like right now" said Kazuma, "Sounds good, let's grab Yuuhi and go" said Aqua as Kazuma picked up Yuuhi as they all ran fast and out of sight from where Yuuhi had caused the biggest scene in their lives.
KONOSUBA
Kazuma's idea for a date plan between Yuuhi was set to be enjoyed at an amusement park on the other side of town, which isn't your ordinary amusement park.
"Whoa, we're going to Warner Bros Park" said Yuuhi with her eyes beaming with joy, "Yup, just you and me kid" said Kazuma "Ahem" coughed Aqua as she kicked Kazuma's leg.
"…And Aqua" said Kazuma as it almost sounded like a jeer, "Just a warning, you're not only taking Yuuhi out on a date today, you're also taking me out on one as well, so I expect to be treated with equality" said Aqua as she crossed her arms.
Just as Kazuma was ready to berate Aqua and possibly pull her cheeks, he was stopped when Yuuhi pulled on his jacket.
"Can you 2 please not fight, this is seriously the first time I get to hang with you 3 in a long time and I want us all to be fun" said Yuuhi as Kazuma looked at Aqua and back at Yuuhi before sighing in defeat.
"Fine, that's fine, we promise to have fun, the 3 of us, ok" said Kazuma as this got Yuuhi to smile just as they made it towards the parks main entrance.
Once they paid for their tickets, they wasted no time in heading towards one of the theme parks first main theme ride attraction, a 4-D immersion ride of King Kong vs Godzilla.
After that they got to take on a semi haunted house ride inside the Mystery Machine as they got to see all of Scooby Doo's rogues galaxy.
Currently, the group was at the ball toss game, except instead of throwing baseballs, they were throwing Batarangs.
"What do you want me to win for you Yuuhi, Batman, Robin, or the Joker" asked Kazuma as he held the Batarang in hand, "Robin please" said Yuuhi as Kazuma paid the man before tossing 2 Batarangs and knocked out the stack of milk bottles.
"Here you go sir" said the worker handed Kazuma his prize, before handing it to Yuuhi.
"Hmm, wonder were Aqua went off to" asked Kazuma, "Aqua onee-chan is over there" said Yuuhi as the pair could see Aqua playing the water shooter game and winning first place.
"Here you go miss" said the employee as she handed Aqua a Raven doll, "Thank you" said Aqua as she took her prize and turned tail to greet Kazuma and Yuuhi.
"Hope you didn't miss that Kazuma, cause I've won first place" said Aqua triumphantly, "Something tells me you manage to increase the water pressure back there ensuring yourself a first place victory" said Kazuma as his words did hit the nail on the coffin.
"Whatever, let's keep having fun" said Kazuma as he unintentionally grabbed Aqua's hand along with Yuuhi's as he lead them through the park seeking to find their next ride.
"Huh, I didn't know they had a movie theater here in the park" said Aqua as the group approached the theater to view the show times.
"Anything that looks good or stand out" asked Aqua as the in park theater seems to be only showing mainly those modern direct to video Scooby Doo movies, which are utter crap, along with some of the DCAU films.
"As much as I'd like to sit down and watch Batman Under the Red Hood, I don't think it's appropriate for Yuuhi to watch" said Kazuma, "I'm not a little kid you know" said Yuuhi with a pout.
"I know you're not, but still it's like super violent" said Kazuma, "But it's also awesome" said Aqua.
"Huh, I didn't know you were interested in the DCAU films" said Kazuma, "I love Mortal Kombat, and you recently got us HBO Max at home" stated Aqua as that pretty much answered Kazuma's question.
"What about that" said Yuuhi as she pointed at the showing for Batman Ninja, "They won't be showing that one till later" said Kazuma, "No worries, we'll go catch it later on, for now let's continue searching the park" said Aqua as the group didn't had to travel far for their next ride, which was a classic.
It was a water roller coaster, based on the Goonies movie as it had reference to everything from the Goonies discovering the treasure to one Eyed Willy, Ms. Fratelli slapping her oldest son repeatedly, to even Chunk and Sloth saving the day just as they all took a large dip from the top of the coasters mountain and were drenched once they raced back down.
"Aw, I had my eyes close, can we do it again" said Aqua as she bought the memorable photo of the trio having fun together.
"Next time, now hold still so I can dry you off" said Kazuma as he used a towel he had bought to dry them all off from getting splashed.
"Thank you Kazuma" said Aqua as he was the one to dry her hair off, "Your welcome" said Kazuma with a smile.
Once they had dried off, the group saw a large group gathering of people who were dead set on entering this large Mortal Kombat tournament here at the park.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we've only got a few openings left for those who wish to enter todays Mortal Kombat tournament, with first place winner take these 2 tickets to see the premiere of the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie" said the announcer.
"Did you know they were remaking the Mortal Kombat movies" asked Kazuma as this was the first he's heard of it, "No, no I didn't, and honestly I don't know how" said Aqua as this surprised them both.
"Kazuma onii-chan, Aqua onee-chan, are you both planning to enter in the Mortal Kombat tournament" asked Yuuhi as the duo remembered they essentially came here as a family to fun together.
"I don't think so, I mean it would only be me and Aqua having fun, and you not having fun with us doesn't seem fair" said Kazuma as Aqua wanted to protest about how this is them blowing off the chance to watch a kickass movie based on one of the best games of all times, but something inside of her told her that it really wasn't worth it.
"Come on, let's go find something to do as a group" said Kazuma as he was ready to lead them away, but Yuuhi stood her ground.
"If you both promise to win, and go see that movie together, I'll let you both play" said Yuuhi with a cheeky smile as she knew she was setting them up for another date night, this time just the 2 of them.
"You are a little rascal you know" said Kazuma as Aqua went and grabbed Kazuma's hand and lead him towards the sign up sheet.
"Come on Kazuma, we're good to go, and I've been raring to kick your ass again" said Aqua, "Oh, it is on" said Kazuma as the pair went to sign up.
While it was no means of it being a cake walk, against all odds the duo had done it, some how they were able to make it through tough opponents, as they some how manage to be the final 2 contestants to duke it out for the tickets.
"This has to be the biggest cosmic coincidence in history" said Kazuma in disbelief as he was not expecting for this outcome to happen.
"Honestly, I was surprised to see you make it this far after seeing you got tossed around like a rag doll by that guy who was maiming you as the Joker" said Aqua.
"Since we're being honest, I kinda hoped the guy who was playing as Kano would have wrecked you" said Kazuma with a shit eating grin since this isn't them arguing, but trash talking each other like gamers, gamers who were really close.
"Want to make this interesting" asked Aqua, "You know you're gonna lose the bet once you start to gamble, but I'll here you out" said Kazuma.
"Loser has to make the winner a sandwich when we get back home" said Aqua, "Oh, it is on" said Kazuma as both selected their fighters and began to duke it out.
Later
The sun was setting behind them as they left the park, as Kazuma had carried Yuuhi on his back with his face painted like the Joker, while Aqua stood by his side, wearing his jacket draped over her shoulders and her face painted like Harley Quinn.
"Is she asleep" asked Kazuma, "Yeah, she's all tuckered out" said Aqua as they continued to walk.
"Guess that means she had a fund day after all" said Kazuma with a smile, "And a fun date" said Aqua as Kazuma knew there was an undertone to what she had said.
"Yeah, no worries we did promise Yuuhi to watch the movie together, and quite frankly I wouldn't want to watch it with anyone else but you" said Kazuma as Aqua was taken aback and blushed a little from his statement.
"You jerk, if you weren't carrying Yuuhi, I'd punch you" said Aqua, "Dude, that was a compliment, what gives" said Kazuma as he was under the assumption that the 2 of them were cool.
"What gives is the fact you needed a little girl to set you up on a date with a bombshell beauty like me, forgetting the fact you had 3 pretty girls in your life long before we came to earth" said Aqua.
"What are you trying to say" asked Kazuma, "What I'm trying to say is that me, Megumin, and Darkness have been upset at you because you completely forgotten about us and our feelings for you" said Aqua.
"I mean jeez you're sharper than this, what happened did you get stupid after feeling like a king going on those dates with those other girls" said Aqua, who in spite of her nagging, her words made their point to Kazuma.
"Aqua I honestly had no idea you felt that way about me, Darkness and Megumin I was aware, you though, I mean that is surprising" said Kazuma.
"We've been together forever the longest, be it in this world, the next world, or even the next life, and well sorry for feeling jealous that the man we human girls like has forgotten about us" said Aqua.
Taken into account as to what Aqua had said, and Kazuma had owned up to the fact that he is very fortunate to be surrounded by pretty girls his whole life, even if their personalities came with a lot of baggage still.
Still he probably shouldn't have taken them for granted, and if work won't allow him the choice to start his own monster girl harem, well who's to say they can't become Mormons.
"Aqua, you're right, I'm sorry for ignoring your feelings along with Megumin's and Darkness" said Kazuma as Aqua was not expecting him to take responsibility like that quick.
"Is there anyway I can make this up to you guys" asked Kazuma, "You can take us all out on a date like you have been with these girls this past week" said Aqua as Kazuma should have expected her to say something like this.
"Alright it's a date then" said Kazuma with a sigh, but his frown soon turned upside down when Aqua planted a kiss on his cheek.
"I should mention, I don't appreciate cheap dates now" said Aqua with a smile as she ran off ahead with Kazuma was left standing there carrying Yuuhi.
I agreed to date 3 girls whom I never really saw anything more than my fap material, oh well so long as I don't get cornered by anymore girls that I know into going out on a date, I'll be fine, thought Kazuma as he had no idea what the fates had in store for him.
In Axel
In the past week, Wiz and Yunyun have been working day and night gathering supplies needed to locate and unite themselves back with Kazuma and are almost ready to start the ritual.
"Ok, I think that's everything, just need my shipment of mana crystals to come in, and I think we'll be good to go" said Wiz, "I hope wherever they are, I hope they're safe" said Yunyun as she had set down a box she was carrying.
"And I hope to hear you both be honest with me as to your real intentions in regards to why you're all doing this" said Vanir as he came from the back holding a tray of hot tea.
"What do you mean" asked Yunyun, "I mean how you both really want to unite with you knight in his not so shing armor, and hope he hasn't settled down with those 3 girls he had been living with" said Vanir.
"No, I mean I do miss Kazuma, but I also miss my rival Megumin" said Yunyun defensively, "Mm hmm, you tell yourself that, Wiz I will say that I am going to miss you friend, and frankly I think you pursuing our old business partner is a waste of time, but hey what do I know about love" said Vanir.
"I mean it's not like I don't plan to return, I mean I just want to make sure Kazuma is safe, and the others too" said Wiz defensively as she was completely flustered.
"I think we both know this is going to be a one way trip friend, but hey I'm not gonna stop you, instead I will continue to support you both to ensure your safety, now let's sit down and have some tea for a minute" said Vanir as he halted his teasing for the time being as something told him Kazuma was fine and with his luck is probably living the good life he claims to deserve.
Back in Japan
After explaining to her fellow housemates that she plans to go on a date with Kazuma later on this weekend, the girls of the Kurusu household decided that they wanted in on this action, even Miia surprisingly.
"Seriously, why do you all want to go out with Kazuma all of a sudden" asked Lala, "I've been curious to wanting to know how Kazuma behaves himself on these dates, and from what you and I have seen, it looks like fun" said Centorea.
"Hey, if the odd chance one of us manages to snag Honey, I'd rather keep my eyes open on someone whom I can tease and toy with" said Rachnee with her hand pressed to her face.
"I'm in knowing Kazuma would reject me for someone back residing in his house" said Mero as this really struck a chord with Lala in the worst way.
"You said Kazuma has been having a fun time with the girls next door, so you know what, I too want to have fun as well" said Papi with Suu nodding in agreement.
"And what about you Mia" asked Lala as she put her on the spot, "Well, I just don't like being left out is all, I mean I still love Darling, but still don't leave me out" said Miia honestly with a meek disposition.
Why'd I have to confide with these mortals, thought Lala as she began to cry from the inside knowing that once again her dating situation might be compromised, but she won't be giving up that easily, not by a long shot.
And we're done guys, I know it's been a while since our last update, but honestly I did had a case of writers block for this chapter, even though I know what this date was going to be about, just couldn't find the words you know.
Anyways it seems that our boy Kazuma has more dates near his future, but that'll be a separate dating arc entirely, granted I don't intend for any of the girls of the Kurusu household to really fall head over heels for Kazuma, that is unless you guys do want to see that.
Next chapter will be focused on Yatsume and quite frankly I have no idea what I'm gonna write about between these 2, like hopefully something I see from a movie, a show, or videogame may inspire an idea, but once again I am open to suggestions.
