Chapter 5

Age 58.

Age 58

Ford is now 58 years old. And thanks to winding up on a parallel Earth. Ford met a parallel Fiddleford. And with his help they finished Ford's Quantum destabilizer. Now Ford is ready for Bill. He said goodbye to parallel Fiddleford. Ford went through a rift and made his way to the nightmare realm. With his Quantum destabilizer in his hands. Ford fought through Bill's minion. Now he's staring down Bill. But Bill retreated to what is know as the Quadrangle qonfusion. While trying to find Bill. The Quadrangle qonfusion started shaking violently. Suddenly Ford found himself being sucked into a portal.

It didn't take long for Ford to realize that. It's his portal that he's being sucked into. Ford put down his googles and prepares himself to return home. After being away for 30 years. He walked through the portal. Ford paused for a moment then walked forward again. He saw journal 3 on the floor and he stopped. Ford places his six fingered hand on it. He picked up journal 3 and put it in his coat. Then he pulled off his goggles and pulled down his hood. He can see Stanley coming toward him. When Stanley got close enough Ford slugged him. Then the twins got into a verbal and physical fight. After they fought Ford found out that he has a great niece and nephew.

He calmed down a bit, knelt down, and shook Mabel's hand. Then he stood and asked Stanley some questions. He found out that the US government knows about the portal. And that Stanley has been using his name. Then he and Stanley took turns telling their life story. To Dipper, Mabel, and Soos. After they were done they can hear the government agents above them. Dipper gave Ford the memory gun and Ford. Figured out how to erase the agents minds. Then he went outside and sent the agents packing. Stanley sent Dipper and Mabel to bed. Ford went to his room and changed clothes.

Then he found Stanley standing by a mirror. Still slightly angry at him Ford made a deal with Stanley. And Stanley told Ford to stay away from Dipper and Mabel. Ford went to his room to try to get some sleep. Two days later Ford is finding himself chasing after a cycloptopus. He's chasing it because he wants it's ink. Ford ended up cornering it in the gift shop. He shocked it with the gloves that he was wearing. Then he went back down to the basement. A few hours later Ford found Dipper in the lab. He ended up finding out that Dipper was. Just trying to find someone to play. Dungeons, dungeons, and more dungeons. Ford loves D,D, and more D it's his favorite game.

Dipper and Ford ended up playing the game for hours. Ford even showed Dipper his infinity sided die. The next afternoon Stanley, Mabel, and Grenda. Went to go watch a TV show. But found Dipper and Ford playing D,D,and more D. Stanley ended up loosing his temper and threw. Ford's bag of dice and the infinity sided die got out. And it conjured the game's villain Probabliltor the wizard. The wizard and his minions took Dipper and Ford to eat their brains. But it ended up being Stanley and Mabel that saved Ford and Dipper. Later Ford locked up the infinity sided die. And he told Dipper that he finished destroying the portal.

He also told Dipper about the rift. A couple of days later Ford woke after having a nightmare. Bill was in his nightmare and Ford knows. That Bill will stop it nothing to get the rift. So that morning after breakfast and everyone is up and around. Ford got a bag of his and called for a family meeting. Dipper and Mabel are the only ones that showed up. Ford didn't like hearing that Dipper and Mabel. Have dealt with Bill twice. He told them that he know of a way to protect the shack. And that one of the ingredients he needed was unicorn hair. Mabel begged Ford to go get the unicorn hair. Ford gave Mabel journal 1 and his crossbow.

And as she left the house she called Candy, Grenda, and Wendy. After Mabel left Ford took Dipper to his private study. He showed him project mentem. While the machine encrypted Dipper's mind. Ford was reading over Dipper's entrys in Journal 3. Sometime later Ford fell asleep. But woke and saw that Dipper was reading his thoughts. After getting the rift back from Dipper. He came clean about what he knows about Bill. That afternoon came back with unicorn hair. Then Ford and Dipper did the the unicorn spell on the shack. Three days later Ford called for Dipper. After Dipper came into his room. Ford showed Dipper that rift container is cracking.

He told Dipper he knew of a way to fix it. So he took Dipper to crash sight omega. While inside looking for the alien adhesive. Ford showed Dipper around. And asked Dipper about his future. Dipper told his great uncle that he wants to graduate with a high GPA . Go to good technical collage. Major in media production and have his own ghost hunting show. Ford ended up offering Dipper to give him an education and to become his apprentice. Suddenly two security drones appeared. Ford protected Dipper and took out one of the drones with his magnate gun. But he was captured by the other drones.

Ford watched as Dipper chased the drone. Through the giant UFO. The drone attached itself to a small saucer. Just before it took off Dipper used his magnet gut. And it attached itself to the saucer. The saucer took off and flew over the town. At one point the saucer hit some turbulents. And all went black for Ford. He didn't come too until the second drone disassembled itself because Dipper didn't show fear. Ford offered Dipper to be his apprentice again. Dipper agreed to stay and become Ford's apprentice. With Dipper's help they went back to the shack. Once back at the shack. Ford went down to the basement and took care of his wounds. And patched his coat.

Sometime later Dipper came into the lab. And told Ford that he was having second thoughts. Ford understood but is eager to patch the rift. He watched as Dipper reached into the bag he had. And pulled out party invitations. Ford and Dipper rushed outside and looked at the sky.

"We're to late it's the end of the world." stated Ford

Ford and Dipper went back into the shack. The older man went down to the lab. He got a case that has a sticker that says project 618 on it. Then he and Dipper went down town. They went up to the bell tower of a church. Ford opened the case and got out his quantum destabilizer. He shouldered the gun and aimed at Bill. But got caught off guard when he heard. The bell behind him talk and ring. He fired the gun and hit Bill's hat. Bill blew up the bell tower. Ford slid a backpack with his journals in it over to Dipper. And told Dipper to go hide. Then all went black for Ford when Bill turned him to gold.

He didn't see anything again until Bill turned him back to normal. Ford found himself in a room. He walked forward but he is chained to a couch. Then he heard Bill singing. Bill appeared playing the piano. He told Ford that there is a barrier keeping him in Gravity Falls.

"Gravity Falls natural law of weirdness magnetism. I studied that years ago." stated Ford

"And did you figure out how to get rid of it." asked Bill

"Yes there is a simple equation. But I'd never tell you." replied Ford

Bill put chains around Ford's neck and wrists. And plans on torching Ford until he gives him the equation. Bill used his eye and shocked Ford. Until his pyramid was attacked. When Bill saw how proud Ford is of Dipper and Mabel. Bill turned Ford to gold again. When he saw light again he saw Dipper and Mabel. Happy to see them again he gave them a hug. Then he put on some gloves and found a can of spray paint. He drew a zodiac wheel. But it didn't work because of Stanley. While Bill went off to chase Dipper and Mabel. Stan and Ford talked about what to do.

They decided to switch clothes. And have Stan offer a deal to Bill. Once Bill is in Stan's mind. Ford will use the memory gun. And erase Stan's memory and Bill with it. So Stan and Ford switched clothes. Just as they finished Bill came back with Dipper and Mabel in his hand. He gave Ford one last chance to give him the equation. Before Bill decided which twin to kill Dipper or Mabel. Stan posing as Ford said "Wait I surrender." Bill dropped Dipper and Mabel and tied Ford posing as Stan. With red energy rope to the floor. Stanley posing as Ford said "I'll let you into my mind. But you have to let my brother and the kids go free."

Bill rolled his eyes and said "Deal." The demon shook Stanley's hand. Bill's body turned to stone and he went into Stanley's mind. Ford posing as Stanley stood and took off Stanley's fez. He got out the memory gun and programmed it to erase Stanley's mind. Ford pointed the gun at Stanley. And reluctantly fire it easing Stanley's mind. Soon everything returned to normal. Dipper, Mabel, and Ford found Stanley in the woods. Stanley doesn't recognize anyone. Tears came to Ford's eyes and gave Stanley a hug. Then they headed back to the shack. Once back at the shack Stan and Ford had switched clothes.

Not long after Stanley sat down. Ford watched as Mabel tried to think of a way. To jog Stanley's memory. Ford feeling helpless thinks that there isn't a way to jog Stanley's memory. Soon Mabel found her scrapbook. She sat down next to Stan and started going through it. After a while it seemed to be working. A few days have passed and it's Dipper and Mabel's birthday. After singing happy birthday to the twins. Ford took Stanley aside and asked him to go sailing with him. The next day they sent Dipper and Mabel home.

Then Ford and Stanley took a look at boats for sale. They found a new boat that doesn't have a name. Stan and Ford named the boat Stan O War 2. Then they outfitted the boat with the equipment that they'll need. Then they set sail for the Antarctic.
