Chapter 7

Age 78-86.

78 years old

Ford and Stanley are now 78 years old. Right now Ford and Stanley are on the phone with Justin. Ford put the phone on speaker so he and Stanley and can hear him.

"Justin what going on? What wrong with my little pumpkin?" asked Stanley

"Calm down Stanley I'm just calling to let. You and Ford know that Mabel. Just gave birth to twin girls. Their names are Zena and Lilly." informed Justin

"Is my little pumpkin ok?" asked Stanley

"Yes she and the twins are fine." replied Justin

83 years old

Ford and Stanley are now 83 years old. The two old men are sitting out on the porch. They are watching the sun set. Stan and Ford watched as the sun. Turned the sky pink,orange, and purple. Dipper and his family visit Stan and Ford. At least three times a week. And Mabel and her family visit three times a month. Soon the sun has gone down and the sky has gone dark. The sky is now littered with stairs. Stanley yawned and said "Well sixer I'm going to bed." Ford nodded and said " Goodnight Stanley." Stanley stood and went inside the house. A few hours later Ford went to bed.

86 years old

Ford and Stanley are now 86 years old. It's morning and Ford is up and around. He is in the kitchen making breakfast. Soon Ford is done making breakfast and has sat down to eat. After eating he put the leftovers on a plate for Stanley. Soon it's 10 o clock and usually by now Stanley is up. So Ford went into Stanley's room. He turned on the light and said "Stanley it's time to get up." Ford didn't hear Stanley respond and he doesn't hear Stanley snoring. So Ford walked up to Stanley's bed. He placed a six fingered hand on Stanley's shoulder.

Then he started gently shacking Stanley.

"Stanley it's time to get up." stated Ford

Ford isn't getting any response from Stanley. Thinking Stanley is messing around. Ford shook him harder and said "Come on Stanley time to get up." Again Ford didn't get a response from Stanley. Ford reached over and checked for a pulse. Tears came to Ford's eyes when he didn't feel a pulse. Ford left Stanley's room and went into the living room. He picked up the phone and diled 911.

"911 what is your emergency?" asked the operator

"Yes I need and ambulance to come to 625 Gopher Road. I can't wake my brother up. And he doesn't have a pulse." replied Ford trying not to cry

"No problem we will send an ambulance to 625 Gopher road. As soon as possible." stated the operator

Ford hung up the phone then went out the front porch. Ten minutes later the ambulance pulled up to their house. Two paramedics got out and brought a gurney with them. Ford showed them to Stanley's room. The paramedics picked up Stanley and put him on the gurney. While the paramedics were busy. Ford went to his room and got his cell phone. Then he followed the paramedics to the ambulance.

"May I go with him I'm his twin brother?" asked Ford

"Sure get in." replied the paramedic

Once the doors closed the driver of the ambulance took off. On the way to the hospital Ford watched as. The paramedics tried to bring Stanley back. They were almost to the hospital. When the paramedic said "He's gone time of death 10:30 am." Once at the hospital the paramedics unloaded the gurney and went inside. A doctor ran up to them and they said "He's gone doctor he's dead." The doctor looked at Ford and asked "What is your name?"

"My names is Stanford Pines. The one they brought in is my twin brother Stanley Pines." replied Ford

"Since the paramedics pronounced your brother dead. What do you want to do?" asked the doctor

"Could you please find out what killed him? He was in good in health the last I knew." asked Ford

"Sure thing Mr Pines." stated the doctor

Ford found the waiting room and sat down. He got out his cell phone and dialed Dipper's number. It rang a couple of times. Then Ford heard "Hello Dipper Pines."

"Hello Dipper I have bad news. Stanley has passed away." informed Ford

"Grunkle Stan is gone what happened." asked Dipper

"I don't know yet Dipper. All I know is that I couldn't wake him up this morning. I'm at the hospital right now." replied Ford

"I'm going to see if Manly Dan will baby sit. And Wendy and I will be down." stated Dipper

Ford hung up with Dipper then called Mabel.

After Mabel picked up Ford told Mabel about Stanley. Thirty minutes later Dipper and Wendy arrived. Ford stood to shake Dipper's hand. But Dipper hugged his great uncle. Ford hugged Dipper and started crying. After hugging Ford Dipper and Wendy sat down with Ford. An hour later the doctor walked up to Ford, Dipper, and Wendy.

"Mt Pines we ran some test, did, a cat scan, and MRI. And found out what killed your brother." stated the doctor

"What did you find out doctor?" asked Ford

"A major blood vessel in his brain busted . And it bled out while he was asleep. Trust me Mr. Pines he didn't suffer it was better. That it happened while he was asleep." replied the doctor

Ford nodded and said "Thank you please have his body sent. To the funeral home and my family and I will make arrangements." Dipper, Ford, and Wendy left the hospital. Wendy gave Ford a hug and said "Come on old timer we'll give you a ride home. I'll leave Dipper with you. So I can go relieve my dad." Ford hugged Wendy back and said "Thank you my dear." They got into the SUV and Wendy. Drove Ford and Dipper to Ford's house. Once at Ford's house Dipper and Ford got out of the SUV. Ford and Dipper went into For'd house.

Then they went into Stanley's room. Ford found Stanley's suit that Stanley would wear. When he was Mr. Mystery. Ford sat down on Stanley's bed and is over whelmed. Dipper sat next to Ford and didn't say anything. Ford took off his glasses and started crying again. Dipper leaned over and hugged Ford trying to comfort him. Two weeks later and the Pines family is at the funeral home. Dipper and Wendy are there with their twin boys Jack and James. Jack and James both have brunette hair. James has green eyes and Jack has brown. The boys are 12 are they loved their great grunkle Stan.

Mabel and Justin are their with their twin girls. Zena and Lilly are now 8 years old. They too loved their great grunkle Stan. Both of the girls have light brown hair and hazel eyes. One by one everyone said goodbye to Stanley. After the funeral everyone followed the hearse in their vehicles to the cemetery. After burying Stanley they went to Ford's house. A lawyer arrived to read Stanley's will. He sat down and opened his briefcase. The layer got out a stack of papers. He put on his glasses and cleared his throat.

"I Stanley Pines being of sound mind and body. Here by leave three maps that lead to. Three chests buried in the forest not far from the Mystery Shack. The first map goes to my twin brother Stanford. Inside the chest foe Ford is gold, some of the unicorn gold, and some leprechaun gold. The second map is for Dipper. Inside of that chest is the same as Ford's. The only difference being. Is that my brass knuckles are in the chest. Last but not least the third map. Is for my little pumpkin Mabel. Inside is what is left of my gold. Lastly I leave the Stanmobel to Dipper. Take good care of her for me Dipper. And that is the end of the will." read the lawyer

He gave a map to Ford, a map to Dipper, and a map to Mabel. Two days later Dipper helped Ford find his chest from Stanley. Once back at Ford's house Dipper. Can tell that it's quiet there without Stanley there. And he's worried that Ford will be lonely all by himself.

"Great Uncle Ford are you going to be ok here by yourself?" asked Dipper

"Yes, yes I'll be fine. I know you, Wendy and the kids will be over to visit." replied Ford

"We'll Skype with you also." assured Dipper

Ford smiled and said "I would love that." Dipper helped Ford take the chest into his house. Then he went home.
