Summary: Davis, T.K. and Kari manage to find Tai but a threat is still there to make sure that the kids don't come back. Can Davis help his friends escape or are this game over?

(Digital World: Now)
We finally arrive in the DigiWorld, then begin walking towards a cave since we are next to it and maybe Tai's in there too.
As we walk towards the cave, I see Digimon running towards us so I use observe to see if they're a threat to us.

Wait, why can't I see his stats? Is it because he's somehow stronger than me ?! What happens to Digimon who reaches Level 80.
Digimon who reach Level 80 will Digivolve to their Mega Level.
Baby: 1-2
In-training: Level 3-4
Rookie: Level 5-15
Champion: Level 16-25 or DNA Digivolution
Ultimate: Level 30-79 or DNA Digivolution.
Mega: Level 80-100 or DNA Digivolution
Super Ultimate: Unknown requirements.
There's also Spirit Evolution which is another type of Digivolution that only Digimon can do. For example, Agumon with the human spirit of flame can Digivolve into Agunimon.
There's also Armour Digivolution which is another type of Digivolution that allows certain Digimon to Digivolve with a Digi-egg.
For example, Veemon can armour digivolve to Flamedramon with the Digi-egg of courage.
Then we have the D.N.A. charge which allows you to tap into your emotions and make your Digimon digivolve.
For example, Agumon(savers) can digivolve to Geogreymon then Rizegreymon, followed by Shinegreymon and Shinegreymon(Burst mode) by using D.N.A. charge.
The next evolution is Digi-modify which allows you to either Digivolve or power up your Digimon with Tamer cards.
For example, Guilmon can digivolve to Growlmon using the Digivolution card on a D-Power.
The last evolution is called app-link which makes Appmon fuse to form a brand new Appmon.

Objectives: Go to the tv station where Wizardmon died and revive him.
Rewards: Massive REP increase with Kari Kamiya, Great REP increase with Gatomon, Great REP increase with Digidestined, 1000 EXP and Human spirit of Metal.
Failure: Massive REP decrease with Kari, Gatomon and Digidestined, a position as leader revoked and new Digimon emperor storyline will be unlocked.

I press on the Y button again while T.K. and Kari talk with their partners about what's been happening in the Digital world while they were gone.
We make our way inside of the cave, seeing Tai for the first time in weeks.
"Hey guys, knew you were coming for me!"Tai says as he hugs Kari and gives us boys a bro hug.
I look at the egg in the center of the cave.
Dig-egg of Courage

Description: This Digi-egg allows your Digimon to armour Digivolve.
If I pull out the Digi-egg, I'll unlock a Digivolution but the problem is, I don't have a Digimon yet!
The only thing that could make this worth it is somehow my future Digimon is sealed off in this cave and I manage to free him by pulling the egg out.
"Hey T.K., try to pull it out, I want to see if Agumon can Digivolve with it. We might need that thing to defeat the Digimon Emperor."Tai says as the local bucket head walks towards the Digi-egg then tries to take it away from its current position but to no avail.
Kari tries it next, saying that it's a woman's job but just like before, it doesn't work at all.
Looks like it's my turn.
I make my way to the Digi-egg then put my hands around it and start pulling with all of my might.
"You can do this Davis! I believe in you!"Kari shouts as I give more of my strength.
I feel like my body is on fire because a blue light shines from my hands and goes straight into the Digi-egg, freeing it from its position.
An orange light shines throughout the cave and I see a blue dragon, I'm going to guess that this is another Digimon.
"Hey there, I'm Veemon but you can call me Veemon!"Veemon says he shakes my hand before jumping around like a sugar rushed kid.
I use the skill to observe see if Veemon is strong.

Attacks: Vee Punch: Swings both of its arms in circles, striking the opponent. Vee Headbutt: Knocks down the opponent with an intense headbutt.
Vee Shot: Fires a small energy blast at the enemy.
That's a lot of moves for a Digimon.
Wait, what's REP and Obedience?
I'm cut off my thoughts as a Monochromon shoots fireballs out of his mouth, making us run out of the cave.
"Agumon, we need you to Digivolve, NOW!"Tai shouts frantically as the Monochromon keeps on raging then starts glowing white, scaring the others but not me and Veemon.
"Tai, I can't! The control spire prevents Digimon from Digivolving. Unless they work for the Digimon Emperor, who gives them a Dark spiral."Agumon says as Tai clenches his fists in anger.
"Wait, that means Monochromon is going to Digivolve?"I ask them but Kari starts shaking and backs away from the still glowing Monochromon.
"He's gonna Digivolve into Triceramon, an ultimate level Digimon. We need to get away from here. Davis, come on!"T.K. yells as he grabs Patamon then makes a run for the portal, followed by Tai, Agumon and Gatomon.
"Kari, get out of here!"Tai shouts as I grip the Digi-egg tighter then look at Veemon, who gives me a nod.
Kari tries to run to her brother but she falls and hurts her ankle.
If Veemon wants to fight then as his partner, I'll allow him to crush Triceramon.
Well, if I do this then I need to make that the others are safe otherwise, they'll get hurt in the process and if I'm ever going to defeat the Digimon Emperor, then I need to be smarter than he is.
"Screw it, I didn't think I would use this but here goes nothing. Veemon, Digi-Armour energize!"I say as Veemon and the Digi-egg of courage become one by glowing a bright orange.
"Veemon armour Digivolve to..." Veemon shouts as he transforms himself into a brand new Digimon.
"Flamedramon, the fire of courage!"Flamedramon says after armour digivolving as he then starts attacking Triceramon, which gives me enough time to pick up Kari's body bridal style and take her straight to Tai, who looked like he was going to murder me when I got back to the real world.
Hey, sorry for saving your hot sister from a pissed-off dinosaur made out of data. In my defence, She was gonna get killed so yeah, you're welcome.
I open the Digi-port so that the others can go back to the real world with their Digimon and be safe.

"Davis, be careful, okay?"Kari asks as I nod my head then go help Flamedramon fight against Triceramon once the others are gone.
It's the first boss, we can do this, no pressure, right?
"Let's go, partner!"I shout at Flamedramon as we both launch ourselves at Triceramon with the full intent of crushing him like a grape.
He throws lightning from his horns but I roll to the left then use Power strike on this dark spiral thing, which is located on his back, making small crack once it's been hit.
"Fire Rocket!"My partner shouts as he covers himself in fire then charges Triceramon and hits him where the dark spiral is.
I check his HP using observation.

Oh come on, why is his HP so high?! He's the first boss for Pete's sake!
If only I could make Flamedramon Digi-fuse with two more Digimon, then we'd be able to crush this stupid dinosaur.
Suddenly, small spikes and lightning come out of nowhere and stop Triceramon in his tracks.
I use observation to see who's there helping us.

Description: Herissmon is a Mammal Digimon. It is brimming with curiosity and will lose sight of its surroundings once it finds something to fixate on, although it is also highly cautious and will make its hard, needle-like quills stand on end when it is afraid, curling up into a ball until no sign of danger remains. However, it gets very attached to those it has warmed up to and will show them its favourite treasures that it keeps stashed in its fur. It seems to have a habit of going on guard whenever it spots a Gatomon, due to having been bullied several times in the past.
Attacks: Lightning Quills: Attacks the opponent by shooting lightning-coated quills.
Needle-Point Dive: Curls its body up into a ball and charges forth.

Description: Pulsemon is a Beast Humanoid Digimon. It is a Digimon that Digivolved under the influence of heartbeat waveform data stored in hospitals and gyms. It has a lively personality in that it treats anyone without discrimination. Pulsemon's characteristic fringe is linked to its emotions and droops when it feels down. It is a cunning fighter who battles by capitalizing on its natural agility and moving around in the shape of a lightning bolt. In addition, many Digimon that are influenced by the vital data of others like Pulsemon, improving their physical abilities and digivolving, have been discovered.
Attacks: Electric Rush: Rams into the enemy with all its might at lightning speed.
Minor Impulse: Discharges electricity generated within its body from its fringe.
Okay, let's hope they accept the Digi-Fusion because if not, we're screwed.
"Hey you two, I'm gonna need your help to destroy this dinosaur reject. You in or what?" I say to them as they immediately nod their heads, making me smirk as it's finally time to put this clown to sleep.
"Okay then, let's do this thing! Flamedramon! Pulsemon! Herissmon! Digi-Fuse!" I say as I thrust my Fusion Loader in the air which glows green then my three Digimon combines into one.
"Flamedramon x2!"Flamedramon shouts as he remains the same but the difference is, he has a lightning bolt symbol on his back instead of the symbol of courage.
The new Flamedramon and I launch ourselves at Triceramon's dark spiral since destroying it might make him de-digivolve back into Monochromon.
I activate Power Strike then channel in some of the mana I have and start punching the dark spiral until Triceramon hits me with his Blaze Blast, which sends me flying away from him but Flamdramon manages to save me at the last second.
I stand up then give him a nod saying thanks and we both charge Triceramon once more.
"Enough of these games. Firestorm Rocket!"Flamedramon shouts as he covers himself in electricity and fire and crashes into the dark spiral, cracking it just a little bit while
I channel my mana and emotions and start focusing on my emotions, giving me a new skill.
D.N.A. charge Level: 1 (apprentice)
Description: Digital Natural Ability or simply D.N.A., is a visible aura created by a human's soul. It can be used to charge a Digivice and digivolve a Digimon to the next stage, and its colour varies between humans. It has different stages: Charge is when a Rookie Level Digimon Digivolves into Champion.
Full Charge is when a Champion Level Digimon Digivolves into Ultimate, Overdrive is when an Ultimate Level Digimon Digivolves into Mega and Burst Mode is when a Mega Level Digimon goes into Burst Mode.
I dismiss the notification then use the D.N.A. charge then activate Power Strike once more I punch the dark spiral, breaking it for good.
Triceramon de-Digivolves back into Monochromon and leaves us alone in the destroyed forest.

I put all of my stat points into STR and use the DEX stat crystal which increases my DEX by 3, making it 22 in both DEX and STR.
I decide to go check on Veemon, Herissmon and Pulsemon, who were having fun together. Maybe they can join my team so we can become even stronger than we are now.
"Hey Herissmon, Pulsemon. I was wondering if you were willing to join my team. I would be really happy if you guys were part of the team since I and Veemon weren't strong enough to defeat Triceramon but together, we could stop the Digimon Emperor from hurting innocent Digimon. So, what do you guys say?"I say to them as they both look at each other then they both look at me and go back to talking about it.
"Okay, we'll join you but we want you to take someone else on your team. He's our best friend and it wouldn't be fair if we left him out. We'll be right back."Herissmon says as he and Pulsemon go back to the forest searching for their friend.
I decided to check the spirit I got as a reward.
Human Spirit of Flame
Description: This spirit has been created using the dead body of AncientGreymon. Can only be used on Digimon to digivolve into Agunimon.
Herissmon and Pulsemon come back with a Digimon I've never seen before so I use observe to see who he is.

Description: Flamemon is a Demon Man Digimon. It was transformed into a half-beast, half-man form when Agunimon lost its power. It is missing the "Combat Instinct" that Digimon naturally possesses, and it has lost power. However, it is a being that has inherited the Human Spirit of Flame of AncientGreymon, so although it has lost power, ordinary Champion-class Digimon isn't a match for it. If anything, it has kindness inappropriate for a Digimon and is similar to a Rookie Digimon, counterbalancing its mischievous part. He can also Digivolve into Agunimon using the Human Spirit of Flame.

"So, he's the one you guys are talking about. Anyway, welcome to the team. Hope you like it!"I say to three of them and they nod their heads, confirming my suspicions before introducing myself to Flamemon.
Wait, what if make Flamemon evolve using the spirit? Would it work or will he go out of control as Monochromon did earlier?
"Hey Flamemon, I can make you Digivolve but only if you want to, but if you don't that's fine with me too!"I say to him as he looks at the spirit then gives me thumbs-up and touches the spirit, Digivolving into brand new Digimon.
"Agunimon!"He shouts as he makes his existence known to us.

Description: Agunimon is a Wizard Digimon. It possesses power over Flame which bears the might of AncientGreymon. Because its "DigiCore" is wrapped in the Spiritual Fire which is called a holy blaze, it can freely manipulate flames. It is an incarnation of the "Firewall" that defends the Net and is a guardian deity. Because of its easily fired-up personality, it has a soldier-like aspect that practices mental training with yoga exercises, and its way of speaking is somewhat archaic, like a Kenpo artist. In battle, it fights by freely using Oriental martial arts, and accumulates flames at one point of its body with a trick that focuses its spirit, to raise its offensive ability. It wields the flame-clad Burning Wrist battle gloves.
Attacks: Pyro Punch, Pyro Darts, Pyro Tornado Fire Dash, Fire Slide, Elbow Drop, Burning Slider, Voltic Strike, Blaze Shoot, Blaze Gust, Salaman Rider Kick, Gatling Burst and Million Gatling Burst.
"Alright, welcome to the team!" I say the new members of my team.
I point my Fusion Loader at them and give them a nod of reassurance.

I press on Y and they are sucked into the Digivice then I put Veemon in my D-3 using I start making my way back to the portal and activate it once I'm close to it.
"Let's go home. Digi-Port open!"I shout as I'm transported out of the Digi-World, with a smile on my face.
(Real World: Outside of Odaiba High)
I'm currently walking home with T.K., Tai, Yolei, Kari, Cody and Izzy.
"Davis, I wanna say thanks for saving us, now close your eyes and don't cheat!"Tai says as he takes off his goggles with Yolei closing my eyes to make I don't cheat like I did last time when I played hide and seek with Kari when we were younger.
When Yolei lets go of my eyes, I see that Tai doesn't have his goggles but instead has mine so I immediately touch my forehead and I stare at him in shock.
"When I grow up, I'll have cooler goggles than you Tai. Just you wait!" A younger me shouts as Tai gives young me a small smile and leaves for school while I stare at Kari, who was playing video games and was kicking my butt so I went to play with her.
"Wait, what are you doing?"I ask him as he gives the goggles to Kari, who puts them in her backpack.
"They're not for you anymore. Congratulations Davis, you're the new leader of Digidestined."Tai says as I let a couple of tears out before letting a small tearful cry escape from my lips.
Because ever since I met Tai, I always felt like I was stuck in his shadow and now, I'm getting out of it but is this how I want it?

Hey guys, hope you enjoyed the second chapter as much I did and wow, more than 30 favourites and follows, thank you guys so much.
If anyone thinks Davis is a wimp at the end of the chapter here's my take on it.
In canon when we saw that Davis became the new leader of the Digidestined, as a kid we found it awesome but now looking back, it felt like Davis was always going to be stuck in the shadow of Tai and Matt. His Digi-eggs are literally based on Tai and Matt's crests so yeah, for me if Davis became the new leader, he would feel a bit of relief because people around him are going to see him as his own person instead of looking at him like he's Tai 2.0.
Anyway, Review which Digimon do you want on Davis's team, I don't care if it's Renamon or Strabimon, just tell me which Digimon do you want and I'll see what I can do.
Next time, Davis is going to go to the tv station while Yolei and Cody go get their first Digi-eggs but will it be easy? Tune in on the next Gamer of Digital World.
