So let's begin this chapter.
Summary: After going to the TV station, Davis gets new members for his team.
Meanwhile, Cody and Yolei are about to get their first digimon partners and digvices, but the Digimon Emperor has another surprise for them, Can they stop him without Digivolution?
(Motomiya residence:Davis's room)
It's been two days since I became the Gamer and Tai gave me his goggles which make me happy but also sad.
I mean, did he had to give me his goggles? Not that I'm not complaining about anything else.
I wake up and use Observe on the alarm clock to see what time it is.
Game, what time is it?
It's 7:00 AM, just one hour before class.
Crap, I wonder If I can run fast all the way to school.

Bonus Objective:Don't let Jun interrupt you by asking about Matt's been doing.

Seriously, she should leave him alone and if Matt wants to talk to someone else, that's his decision.
I pick up my Digivices then make a full dash to school which is manageable by channeling my mana in my feet.

Using the new skill, I manage to ge in class just in time for me to hear my name on roll call by Mrs. Tsukishima.

After hours of waiting, the final class ends so I make my way to Kari, who's been waiting for me outside of my class so they can start their trip to the Digiworld while I go check out TV station.

Kari is shown to have a unique connection to light and darkness, which seems to be related to the associated trait of her crest. She is empowered by the powers of light on one hand, but very susceptible to the powers of darkness on the other, leading her to be empowered by light and weakened by overwhelming darkness.
Thoughts about you: Is developping her small crush on you. She wishes that you would hold her hand for a minute.
What's the Homeostasis thing I wonder? Could she be possessed by something that came from the DigiWorld?

I'm really shocked but I manage to calm myself down and put on a fake smile to not worry Kari about what I just learned.
"I'm doing awesome. So, you guys are going to head out to the Digoworld?" I ask her and she nods her head, confirming my questions and my thoughts from earlier.
"Yeah, Yolei's been wanting to head there ever since we went in to save Tai. She says she wants to find her very own partner so I'm gonna go along with her. We'll have Izzy, Cody, T.K. and Sora as backup just in case things go south."Kari says as she stares at me before going to the computer room.
Alright, let's get ourselves a new friend.
(Tv station: 20 minutes later)
It took a while but thanks to Matt'e help, I was able to find it.
No one's here which isn't surprising since the Digimon attack from a couple years ago.
I go up the stairs then reload my team of Digimons and pick up my weapons, ready for a battle.
A ghost right in front of us so I use [observe] to see if he's the real Wizardmon or not.

Although it has a personality that likes playing a few practical jokes, because it has another, shyer side, it tries to never show its uncovered face.

Okay, let's do this.
"Wizardmon, I need your help. My name is Davis Motomiya and I'm the second leader of the Digidestined. There's another threat in the Digital World. His name is the Digimon Emperor and he enslaves Digimon to do his bidding. Gatomon's the one who told us about this."I say to him and Wizardmon listens but he just doesn't care ir show emotions.
"Please Davis, leave now."Wizardmon says sadly, remembering the painful memories of his death.
She needs you man, please!"I plead to him as he shakes his head.
"I do not have a role to play in this war even if Gatomon secretely needs my help. I will not endanger the Digital World just for one person."Wizardmon says coldly.
"That person is your friend! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT, YOU BASTARD!"I shout as he walks towards me with a look of anger on his face.
"You don't think I want to go back to see her? I want to but I can't, do you know why? Because I am dead!"He says as he begins to cry, dropping his staff in the process.
"What if I could help you gain a body so that way you can help us and see how Gatomon's been doing?" I say to him as he looks at with shock.
"What's the catch? There is no way that you would allow this to happen unless you have some kind of ulterior motive." Wizardmon says as he looks me with caution.
"No catch, I just need your help against the Digimon Emperor that's all."I say to him with all of my honesty.
He looks deep in his thoughts but after a minute or two, he nods his head, accepting my proposition.
I pick my Fusion Loader from my pocket and point it at him.

I press Y then let him be absorbed by my Digivice.
After a while, my D-Terminal gets a message from Kari, saying that Yolei and Cody both got their Digimons but they're surrounded by a bunch of Digimons.
I put my team back in their Digivice then make my way to the computer room at school and thanks to Sprint, I manage to get there without any problems.
I take out my D-3 then point it at the computer and let myself be transported to the DigiWorld.
(Temple: 5 minutes later)
Okay, where are the others?
Cause I don't see them unless the Digimon Emperor captured them and since the original Dugidestined can't digivolve, that would be perfect for him to take them along with their Digimons.
But he didn't account for one thing: Me.
By using Cody's D-3 as a tracker, I'll be able to track them very easily and once I do find them, That Digimon Emperor jerk better be ready cause I'm coming with the calvary.

Objectives: Rescue your teammates from the Digimon Emperor, who has captured them.
Bonus objectives: Defeat the Digimon Emperor as soon as you get the chance.

(The others: 5 minutes later)
"Ugh, w-what happened?"Kari groans as she wakes up and sees the others Digidestined and herself attached to metal cuffs on a rock as the Digimon Emperor on top of an Airdramon.
"Well, looks like we have one contestant who's awake. Let's hope her friends join her the world soon so that you can all witness me getting rid of thorn in my side." He says as the others wake up then try taking their Digivces out of their pockets but he shows them that he has them and isn't willing to give those back to them.
"Just you wait! Davis's gonna put a stop to you and your evil plans."Kari says as she glares at him.
"Oh but I'm counting on that! You see, by using you as bait your leader will come running to rescue you and when he does, he's gonna die! I already told him you were being held hostage so today is the day you all die! Enjoy your last minutes together because after this, you won't have a chance to look at each other."The Digimon Emperor says as he leaves them to process the news.
"We can't even escape from these. Seriously, what are these made of?"Yolei shouts as she struggles to escape from her restraints but ultimately fails.
"Hey guys, where's the Digimons?"T.K. as he looks for Patamon and finds him, Tentomon, Biyomon, Hawkmon and Gatomon trapped in cage which is surrounded by a bunch of Tyrannomons with dark rings on them.
"Patamon, hold on! We're coming to save you guys! Damn it, where's Davis?"T.K. shouts as he and others try to free themselves form their but to no avail.
All they could do now is hope that Davis shows up to save them.
(Back with Davis : 10 minutes later)
So I'm near the others but the problem is if the Digimon Emperor shows up while I'm trying to free them, then shit will go down.
The only skills I have is D.N.A. Charge, Power Strike and Sprint so I need to save the Digimons first so I can have more firepower.
'Here we go. Sprint, activate!'I thought to myself as I channel my skill then run as fast as I can to reach the Digimon's cage.
Once I'm close, I switch to a combo of Power Strike and D.N.A. Charge to break them out and it works out like a charm.
Who's the man? Me, that's who!
"Davis! You're here! Quick, get us out of here before the Digimon Emperor comes back!"Yolei shouts as I run towards them but a Tyrannomon hits me with its tail.
"Oh no, I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to kill you, you insuferrable pest!" Harry Potter junior says as he jumps off an Airdramon lands a couple of feet away from me.
I use [observe] on him to see who is he really.

What the hell is the Dark Ocean? Is that why his stats are better than mine?
"So you're the Digimon Emperor or should I say, Ken Ichijouji!"I say arrogantly as a look of shock can be seen on his face.
"How do you know that?"Ken asks, shocked that I revealed his true identity.
"Yeah Davis, how do you know that? You wouldn't know that little fact unless you're working for him!"T.K. as I look at him with a glare, telling him to shut up.
"The only reason I know this is because everytime Ken shows up, The Digimon Emperor isn't in the Digital World and look at his D-3, it's the only thing allowing us to go to the DigiWorld. He must've stolen it from someone that was destined to be a Digidestined."I explain calmly, hoping that it'll keep T.P.'s mouth shut for the time being.
"I mean, it makes sense but why not join us so we can protect the DigiWorld?"Kari asks me.
"My guess is that he probably felt guilty for his brother's death and went into a very bad part of the DigiWorld and did something to his D-3, turning it into the thing you see today."I say as Ken grabs his whip then orders the Tyrannomons to kill us all.
"Alright, reload everyone!"I shout as I thrust my Fusion Loader in the sky and let my team get out to play.
Veemon, Herissmon, Pulsemon, Agunimon and Wizardmon all stand ready for battle as I unsheathe Brave Snatcher and go into a fighting stance.
"Alright guys, it's time to Digivolve!"I shout as Veemon armour digivolves to Flamedramon, Herissmon digivolves to Filmon and Pulsemon digivolves to Bulkmon.
"Okay, let them have it!"I yell as we all charge at the Tyrannomons while Wizardmon leaves us to free the others from their restraints.
I throw my sword at Agunimon, who catches it then I punch Ken in the face and proceed to beat the shit out of him with my fists.
Wizardmon manages to free the others who then destroy the control spire so that they can Digivolve to champion or armour Digivolve and help fight against the Tyrannomons.
Ken punches me in the gut and hits me with his whip a couple of times but I tackle him and continue punching him in the face until I consider the job done.
"Wizardmon! Time to end this, destroy their dark rings!"I shout as Wizardmon destroy the dark rings easily with Thunder Bomb followed by the others who destroy the rest of the rings.
"Now, we're gonna send you back to the real world and make sure that you don't have access to another Digital Gate ever again. Sam would be so disappointed in what you've become. Because you are a monster. That's what he would he say if he was here." I say to him angrily as he looks at me with a look of rage on his face.
"Shut up! You know nothing about him! So how dare you speak about him like that! I should kill you right where you stand, you miserable pest!"Ken roars out as I punch him in the face one more time and he's now uncosncious.

Objectives: Go to the tv station where Wizardmon died and revive him.
Rewards: Massive REP increase with Kari Kamiya, Great REP increase with Gatomon, Great REP increase with Digidestined, 1000 EXP and Human spirit of Metal.
Failure: Massive REP decrease with Kari, Gatomon and Digidestined, a position as leader revoked and new Digimon emperor storyline will be unlocked.

"Hey there, I'm Davis Motomiya and welcome to the team."I say, introducing myself to them.
Renamon just nods and sits next to a rock while Gammamon is playing with Pulsemon.
"Okay guys, let's destroy a couple of control spires before we go back home. Let's do our best!"I shout as I pick up Brave Snatcher then walk alongside my team of Digimon, ready to end Ken's evil legacy for good this time.
(Odaiba High: Next day)
I'm currently waiting for Kari to get out of her class so we can go to the DigiWorld and continue destroying the control spires that are still there.
I still can't believe Ken managed to escape while I was gone.
Flashback"What do you mean Ken escaped?!"I yell at Yolei, who was looking at the ground."Ken managed to escape when we got back to real world thanks to his training in martial arts. It's not my fault, how was I supposed to know that he would try to get away from me?"Yolei says, attempting to lighten the mood of the situation but it doesn't work."You don't get it, Yolei. Ken's back in the DigiWorld, doing who knows what to the Digimons and we're still here waiting for tommorrow to come back so we can stop him."I say looking at the computer, wondering if I should just go in and stop him."Davis, let's wait for tommorrow. Then we can go back and stop him. We already who he is so now, we just have to make sure to always be one step ahead of him. Meeting ajourned." Kari says as we all go back home to get sleep.
Now
And that's what happened.
Kari finally gets out of her class then looks at me with weird look in her eyes.
"Davis, would you like to go on a date with me this saturday?"She asks then my eyes widen as big as saucers and the only thing I can do in this situation is pretty simple.
I faint, unaware of Kari calling out my name again.
