So let's begin this chapter.
Summary: After going to the TV station, Davis gets two new members for his team and learns more about them.
Meanwhile, T.K. and Kari are about to get their Digi-Egg but the Digimon Emperor has another surprise for them, Can they stop him with armour Digivolution and what are the Digimon Emperor's plans for our DigiDestined?
(Odaiba high: A couple of weeks later)
It's been a while since Kari asked me out on a date and after I woke up, Veemon and Gatomon both agreed to go into the Digital world this Saturday and spend some time together.
I got a new Digimon named Vorvomon while I was training with the others in the dungeons.
Herissmon, Pulsemon and Wizardmon all managed to go to the Ultimate level, which surprised me since I didn't think that would be possible.
Renamon, Gammamon, Veemon and Vorvomon have managed to go to the champion level.
I got new spirits such as the Human spirits of Light, Wood, Wind, Thunder, Ice and Darkness and their Beasts spirits as well.
Thanks to that, we were able to destroy a lot of control spires once we got out of the dungeons.
Ken is starting to lose a lot of zones due to me being a threat to his rule.
Soon, we're going to take him down and stop him from endangering other Digimons.
If we're gonna do that, then I'm gonna need some help.
So no more messing around, we're going to the Clock tower shop today!
I check my status before heading there.

I make my way to the shop which is oddly enough next to an apartment in Hightown New Terrace and hopefully, I can get some Digi-eggs or Legendary spirits.
That way, I'll be one step ahead of Ken maybe T.P. aka Gilligan hat.
I'm so going to enjoy mocking him as long as I live.
I use [observe] on the items here and I admit, the stuff in here is pretty good.
I buy a couple of times and it's a good thing that I get money in dungeons because otherwise, I would've never been able to buy that much.

"Are you done looking already?"An old man says as he shows up behind me.
"AHHHHH! Don't do that man! What if you gave me a heart attack and I died from it?!"I shout at him after screaming in a high-pitched voice.
"Bah, you'll live. It's you who should be worried about my health. You never know what could happen to a guy like me."He says as we make our way to the counter so I could pay for my stuff.
I pay for the stuff then make my way to leave so I could get on with my day but the old man stops me.
"Hey, kid. About I give you something to thank you for coming into my shop?"He says as I shrug my shoulders, not caring in the slightest.
"Let me go get it quick." The man says as he goes into the backstory to get he wants.
He needs to hurry up cause I got a date with Kari and I am not gonna mess this one up.

Davis, me and the others are in the Digital World. Got attacked by Ken and a bunch of Tyrannomons. T.K. and I escaped but Yolei and Cody need backup. Hurry, please. Here's the coordinates.

"Damn it!"I shout as I punch the counter and the old man comes back with a Digimon in his hands.

I upload all of Digimons so they can get acquainted with our new member.

"Digi-port open!"I shout as me and my Digimons are now sucked into the computer, ready to fight Ken once more.
(Meanwhile with T.K. and Kari)
"*Huff* I knew that this was bad idea for us to split up. Now who knows what happened to Cody and Yolei."Kari said as she continued walking deeper in the cave.
"Well, maybe they got lucky and managed to go back to the Real world."T.K. replied, attempting to hold Kari's hand for extra support but she suddenly walks faster than before, leaving him in the dust.
"Kari, wait up!"He shouted as he began to run so he could catch up to his best friend.
"Are those Digi-Eggs for us?"Kari muttered to herself before she picked up the Digi-Egg of Light, T.K. picked the Digi-Egg of Hope.
Kari started to focus all of her positives emotions into the egg, not noticing a bright light emanating from her, Gatomon and the egg.
"Gatomon Armour Digivolve to Nefertimon!"Nefertimon shouted as Kari climbed on her back, suddenly feeling tired but the fatigue was manageable.
'What the hell was that? Is that one of Kari's powers? I've got to tell Tai when this is over and maybe ask him if I can become leader instead of Davis.'T.K. thought as he made Patamon armour Digivolve to Pegasusmon.
He then climbed on his partner's back, ready to show the others what a real leader looked like.
"Hey Kari, look at that. Hope and Light reunited again. Pretty amazing, am I right?"He asked his counterpart, who just gave him an awkward smile before flying off to save the younger members of the Digidestined.
T.K. was confused for a couple of seconds before flying off in her direction, ready to stop Ken for good.
Though if he was more observant, he would've seen Kari's tag and crest hanging from her necklace.
(Davis's POV: Near Cody and Yolei)
Okay, I think I'm near them.
Time to let the gang out and let them play with Ken's 'friends'.
"Reload, everyone!"I shout as I raise my Fusion Loader over my head and let my team come out.
"We're ready when you are boss!"Gammamon says as I nod my head.
"No wasting time here. Guys, Digivolve!"I tell them as my Digivices begin to glow and they all transform into their strongest forms yet.
I give Agunimon my Brave Snatcher while I put my Burst Gauntlets on.
We all get out of the forest and then the team started beating the controlled Tyrannomons like there was no tomorrow.
I use [Sprint] to launch myself Ken, who's probably mad that I've gotten here in such a short time.
I start punching him in the face before doing a sweep kick so he can lose his balance and I spin kick him but he dodges it at the last second.
I grit my teeth then continue my onslaught of punches and kicks.
Ken manages to catch one of my punches then kicks me in the face jumps over me to try and punch me in the back of my head.
He's probably hoping to knock me out but I do a spin kick on the right side of his chest, sending him away from me.
"It's over Ken. We've won this battle and you don't have any more control spires since there all going to be destroyed soon enough. Just surrender and we can talk about this!"I tell him while dropping my stance.
The others are almost done destroying the Dark rings but suddenly, Ken pulls out his Digivice.
"If you think that this is over, then you're a bigger fool than I originally thought. Tyrannomon, Digivolve!"Ken shouts as the last Tyrannomon evolves into something quite dangerous.
I use [Observe] on the new being to see who he is.

Attacks: Fire Blast II and Nuclear Laser
Wait, his stats can't be calculated?! That's just BS!
Whatever, it's time for us to stop holding back anyway.
"Cody, Yolei, you guys need to go find T.K. and Kari then destroy the control and go backto the Real World. This Digimon is a high Ultimate."I say to them, hoping that they'll get the message.
"No! we can help you until T.K. and Kari show up and Cody can send a message to Izzy so that the others can come here and help as well. We're done sitting on the sidelines, Davis!"Yolei shouts as Halsemon and Digmon hold MetalTyrannomon by the arms he throws them away from us.
"This is not up for debate! I order you as your leader to leave this place immidiately. Go, NOW!"I yell at them as they flinch.
I can't afford for one of my teammates to die because they wouldn't listen to what I said.
If me looking like a monster is what saves them, then I'll gladly play the part.
They're my responsability and I'm not gonna fail at that.
I refuse to fail!
"Rosetta Stone!"
"Star Shower!"
Two voices shout as the gigantic metal dinosaur is then pelted by a giant rock and some stars.
Kari and T.K. run towards me once they manage to land and although this isn't the time for that, I think I saw gilligan hat smirking at me thought I don't really care as to why he did that.
Halsemon and Digmon stand next to Pegasusmon and Nefertimon, ready for a battle but suddenly, the four of them revert back to their Rookie forms.
Great, just freaking great. Now, we can all die together.
"Kari, get the others out pf here. I'll stall him and wait for back up to arrive. Just go, now!"I shout as I glare at Kari and she gets the message and then makes a run for it.
Cody, Yolei and Bucket head follow her, leaving me alone against the Ultimate level Digimon.
"Guys, we need to Digifuse if we want crush this freak. Exveemon, Stefilmon, Boutmon, Lavorvomon, Mistymon and BetelGammamon! DIGIFUSE!"I shout as my Digimons combine into a singular being of absolute power.
"Exveemonx5 Mystic mode!"The new Exveemon roars out as he takes his sword, ready to battle MetalTyrannomon.
"Still not done yet! Kyubimon, Agunimon and Mikemon. DIGIFUSE!"I yell as my last Digimon also fuse to give birth to a new being.
"Agunimonx2 Kitsune mode!"The new Agunimon says as he gives me back Brave Snatcher and he ignites his fists on fire, ready for the battle to begin.
"Charge!"I yell as I use [Sprint] [Power Strike] and [D.N.A. Charge] to launch myself at Ken and manage to pubch him so hard he's knocked out.
Now for the robo-rex over there.
"Mystic Vee Slash!"Exveemon shouts as he uses his sword to try and destroy MetalTyrannomon's Dark ring.
"Allow me to help as well. Nine Tailed Inferno!"Agunimon as he punches the evolved Tyrannomon nine times on his Dark ring as well.
I use Brave Snatcher to propel myself at the robot's Dark ring but he uses Fire Blast, sending me away and crash into a nearby lake.

Ow, this hurts so much.
Maybe the others should've stayed so they could help me against this guy.

"Needle Spray!"
Multiple voices shout as MetalTyrannomon is then pelted by multiple attacks, lowering his HP considerably but enough for him to die.
"Davis, we're here!"Tai shouts as he and the others all run towards me and stop once they're in front of me.
"I thought I told you Kari that I could handle this. Just go home, I'll find a way to defeat him."I say angrily.
I'm then hit in the face by none other than Tai.

"What the heck do you mean 'I'll find a way to defeat him'? What, do you think you can beat him alone?"Matt shouts at me as he grabs my collar.
"Yes, I know that I can beat him by myself."I say to him as I punch him in the face, blinded by my anger.
"Are you that desperate to get out of Tai's shadow? Use your head, damn it!"T.K. adds, making me wonder if I should just shove Brave Snatcher up where the sun doesn't shine.
"Stay out of the way, Takahaishi! This is my battle!"I shout at him.
"No it isn't. We're here to help you Davis." Sora says as she tries to calm us down.
"You want help me? Then leave and let me handle this!"I say angrily.
"Why do you want to do this by yourself? Is it to impress Kari? There's other ways to win a girl's heart, you know."T.K. says arrogantly.
I've had enough of his attitude. Who does he think he is?
I punch him in the face and start pouring all of my anger into my fists.
I'm gonna teach him a lesson in pain. When your in front of your leader, you show him/her respect no matter who they are.
Tai and Matt seperate us from each other but I push Tai away and jump on bucket head once more and continue beating the crap out of him.
"STOP IT!"Kari yells as she begins to tear up and unable to contain it anymore, she cries.
I look at each and everyone of them.
I then stare at Kari then look at Tai and then, I shut down [Gamer's Mind] so I could do one thing in particular.
Cry until I can't anymore.
"I just wanted to protect you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry."I repeat these words until I can't anymore.
"Davis, I'm the one who's sorry. I acted selfishly when I made you leader. I should've known you wouldn't be ready just yet."Tai says as he hugs me and Matt joins in.
"I should've been a better friend. So much for my crest, huh?"Matt says as I manage to calm down.
I realized something about Gamer's Mind. It's both a blessing and a curse.
It allows me to think more logically but I lose myself in it's powerful grips.
"I'm sorry guys. I thought that this is my burden and I should take care of it but I realize now, that there's no I in team. So, do you guys want to help me?"I ask them.
"Yeah!"They all shout as I realize it now.
A leader is someone who his friends can rely on.
That's what I'm gonna do.
Protect all of my friends.
Suddenly, a new Digi-egg appears in front of me so I decide to store it in my D-Terminal just for future uses.
By using [Observe] on it, I found out that this is the Digi-egg of Frienship.
Hidden quest complete!
Ancient evolution
Objectives: Gather all of the Digi-eggs.
Rewards: 1000 EXP, 2000$, 3000 credits, Human spirit of Water, Beast spirit of Water, Beast spirit of Fire, Human spirit of Earth, Beast spirit of Earth, Fractal code of all Ten Legendary Warriors and Digicore unlocked.
Alright! Now that's what I'm talking about.
Wait, what's a Digicore?
Digicore
Description: A Digicore can be used to grant the Digimon the power to digivolve to Ultimate oncemore.
Okay, time for us to get some firepower.
"Guys, I have a way for you to become Ultimate again. Agunimon, defuse!"I say as Agunimon separates himself from Kyubimon and Mikemon.
I use the Digicore on Tai and his team, making them go Ultimate but at the same time, their Digivices start to change.
Once the transformation is complete, Tai starts channeling energy from his courage, which powers up MetalGreymon and he unleashes a very powerful Giga Destroyer.
It is then followed by the others and I make Agunimon Digivolve to BurningGreymon so he can end this battle for good.
"Wildfire Tsunami!"He roars out as he sets himself on fire then comes crashing down on MetalTyrannomon's Dark Ring, destroying it completely.
"Yeah! We did it! Hear that, Ken? You lose-"I say as I'm cut off by the fact isn't where he was a couple of minutes ago.
Damn it, he must've escaped while we weren't looking.
"Hey, it's fine. We can always destroy his control spires. There aren't that many anyway."Izzy says as I nod my head, feeling extremely tired after that battle.

(Real World: An hour later)
After we got back from the DigiWorld, Tai's team decided to go back home and wait for Mimi to come back to Japan tomorrow.
T.K., Cody and Yolei went back home as well so they could rest or nurse their wounds.
The only people left in the room are me and Kari.
"So, about that date. You still wanna to go with me?"I ask her.
"Sure, where to first, fearless leader?"Kari asks as she grabs my arm.
"I heard that there's gonna be a new ninja movie. We can go to the arcade after this. That's if you want to."I say as Kari starts giggling before calming down then gives me a kiss on the cheek.
"As long as I spend time with you, I'll go anywhere."She replies.
We then make our way to the movies.
Ken and the game can wait.
Because right now, it's time for me to live a little.
