Dawn's Approach Hanger
Konan could be seen carrying a case into the back of a pitch-black pelican. Dressed in black combat gear she looked over to a technician who was doing some checks on the aircraft before stopping to notice her stare at him.
"Yes mam?". "Is the craft ready to go?" she questioned to which he replied, "yes mam". "Good leave. I'm taking over from here" she ordered in an emotionless expression to which he quickly grabbed his and hurried out.
Wanting to escape her vision he wasn't looking forward which caused him to slam into a metal structure. With a stumble back he rubbed his head in pain before looking up to see the metal structure was actually a large Spartan holding supplies in front of him. Wanting to escape further embarrassment he hurried around as the Spartan placed the gear inside the craft.
"The mission has been updated" Konan announced as he placed the supplies down. "There are certain assets that a high-ranking ONI official want evacuated. It is located on a secret base, but reports are coming in that Covenant ground forces are coming closer to the location while performing sweeps. Bring whatever you need to make sure the assets will be secured. Massive enemy contact is expected when we arrive" she finished
"Understood" he responded walking outside the pelican. Marines nearby watched as the Spartan walked up to a nearby armory to arm up. He started off with grabbing two magnums and magnetizing them to his lower back. He then grabbed a battle rifle and rocket launcher magnetizing them to his back. Continuing on he equipped ammunition to on his body for the weapons. With those weapons ready he finished it up back grabbing a machine that was belt fed from a metal container attached to his hip along with some grenades.
Walking back to the pelican he placed the machine gun on the seats before opening the large supply crate. Opening it up it showed more ammo, grenades, his axe, and a combat knife. Attaching the axe to his leg he felt Konan approaching from behind him with her case. Slapping her hand against his waist, that was his signal to take a knee.
With him kneeling Konan opened a case to see a device she was well versed in. Picking it up she attached it to the side of his helmet connecting to his systems. It was a target location device that had been tailored for more improvements. It connected his vision to her pad which also connected to her drones. Drones she could launch and feed him enemy information. With it in place she tapped him twice on the shoulder before moving to the pilot's seat to start the aircraft.
Turning it on she ran the quick systems scan before closing the back and giving the green to launch. Receiving the green back latches above the pelican snapped onto it and moved it to a sealed location for launch. With the doors opening she had the pelican lift and shoot into space.
She could see that once she left the ship, that it was located away from the fleet currently engaging the Covenant fleet. Taking the stealth approach, she kept the pelican away from them as she entered the planets atmosphere. Within a few minutes she was cutting through the clouds which revealed themselves to be rain clouds as now that she was under them, the pelican was being soaked by the rain. Pulling the pelican to a low flight path to just above the tree line she accelerated towards the secret base.
Secret ONI Base
A small group of scientists were hurriedly putting together all their paperwork and projects. The alien invasion caught them off guard, but it gave them an opportunity to further their studies. They had bodies and weapons collected from the battlefield sent to them for studying. They were learning so much but now the old bastard wants them to wrap up what they have and move to a new location off planet.
"Wanting us to just drop everything and pack up because of his fears of losing his assets. That's all we are to him! Assets! The fucker" yelled a scientist with long silver like hair
"It doesn't matter too much" spoke another with a chuckle. "He did promise us a big lab and a bigger budget. I'm just curious on how he plans to get us past that. Kukuku" she chuckled again looking at another scientist who was typing away at a computer while look at the cameras showing Covenant forces getting closer.
"Hopefully something with a bang" laughed the scientist at the table
With Covenant Forces
The Covenant were on a warpath on this planet. They were to scour the whole planet and leave nothing unsearched. Wipe out any humans no matter the age or gender. They will all equally die. Well maybe not equally. He was loving the sound of the humans as they scream in fear or beg for their lives. Especially the woman of their species thought an elite in silver armor signaling his status as an Ultra. He had his group comb the woods through the rain looking for any hiding humans. They had killed a few hiding, so the hierarchs must know that they were hiding in here.
Moving further through the trees and walking out of the tree line he saw a small structure in the distance. Using the scope of his helmet, it zoomed in to show a human base hiding in the distance.
"Glory brethren!" he roared with a start. "Kill them all at your own pleasure!" he finished raising his energy sword at the base and leading the charge. As the grunts, jackals, and elites charged forward he heard a roaring sound in the air.
A pelican came roaring in from overhead with its gatling gun roaring as well sending rounds into the charging forces. With no cover they were being easily mowed down until they retreated back to the tree line to fire back at it.
From inside the pelican Naruto pulled a lever opening up the back. With the back fully opened he slammed his fist on another button causing a latch to open up above and lower a chain gun. Grabbing it, he cocked it back chambering a round as the pelican swooped around for him to see the enemy. Without pause he pulled the trigger sending rounds into the tree line shredding through trees and rock that the enemy used to hide behind. The special thing about this pelican was that this craft used incendiary ammunition.
Small burst of fires was starting to light up the location as the rounds impacting caused fires and small explosions upon impact. Covenant forces were screaming in pain and fear as the weapon ripped any cover that they had. He continued until the rounds stopped being feed to the gun signaling for a reload. Clicking the button for the chain gun to be put up and automatically reloaded he grabbed his machine gun and leapt out of the pelican plummeting towards to ground. Following him were three drones that performed a hover before flying off in different directions.
Slamming down on his feet in a slide Naruto moved to a better defended position as the pelican above moved off towards the base. The base had opened it hatch from the top for the pelican to land before closing up after it. With the pelican secured he placed the machine gun to the side and aimed down his battle rifle as information came up on his Hud. Targets started showing up in the distance as green squares. With a burst of rounds the targets started turning into red X's one by one. He had quite the few green squares to remove.
'63…..60….59' he thought
Inside Oni Secret Base
The pelican landed inside the base with no issue at all. Konan placing it on standby walked out of the back to see a pile of items and material surrounded be agents waiting for orders on what to do.
"Load everything inside. Where are they?" she asked as the agents went to work while one offered to lead her further inside. They walked through the darks halls before coming to a lab. The agent left her to continue his task as she entered the doors.
Walking inside she saw corpses on an examination table of the aliens that have been dissected along with weapons they used broken down into pieces. Looking at them as she passed, she could see that they have been dead for some time. 'They were just lucky this was done while they were dead' she thought entering the next section to see them in a computer lab.
"Alright you three. You know your orders. We're leaving" she stated getting their attention
"Agent Konan. So, they sent you to get us" stated one as a explosion was heard in the distance. "I'm assume that's the 'wolf?"
"Yes, now let's go. You are wasting time. You know he doesn't like waste" she warned as the scientist smirked.
"Yes, yes. We all know how Admiral Shimura is. That fossil is such a prude. Always rushing a lady" she finished grabbing her bag to put things in it.
"Orchimira, Carmilla, Medusa! Let's go"
Outside
Standing on the high ground he fired his last rocket from the rocket launcher destroying the last wraith in a fiery explosion. Throwing the weapon to the side, he grabbed his machine gun again and started mowing down and target that was designated. The field was already littered with enemy bodies and wrecked vehicles as they attempted multiple charges at him that failed.
A spray of plasma glanced off his armor that he returned with firing the last rounds. The elite dropped to the ground in a spray of blood as a round smashed into a grenade in his hand denoting it. In a burst plasma the surrounding area went up in an explosion taking out the grunts nearby. Seeing that the nearest enemies were further away he leaped down from his high ground and sprinted back to the base for re arming.
Lab
"Oh! Using our first name. How familiar of you, hehe" laughed Medusa siting on her chair which she used to slide across the floor when she used her barefoot to kick off the table. Konan glared down at the sandy blonde female that was cut into short hair with two long ponytails in the back. She was wearing a white doctors coat over black cargo jeans and a black long sleeve shirt.
"Stop messing around. You do know the Covenant is assaulting this base, correct? Now would be the time to get your things, put on your shoes, and leave" she warned as the door opened to the lab. The four turned to the new person walking in to reveal the Spartan who went to the side of the room. Going for the emergency weapons locker, he opened it up and started rearming with the ammo.
"Naruto – 009, status report" ordered Konan as she could see some battle damage and plasma damage on his armor.
"All green. Re arming to continue to hold ground" he reported finishing placing magazines on his body and on in his battle rifle. It was a second after loud bangs of doors being blown opened was heard starting the scientist and Konan
"Correction, removing the unwanted guests" he corrected pulling the charging handle back and walking back to the exit when the scientist with long silver hair stepped in front of him with a confident smirk. He looked down to see that she was wearing her lab coat over her red dress with heals. Stitched on the lab coat was the name Carmilla. She held up a pad showing a surveillance camera of the elites at the entrance.
"Naruto, these elites have killed men, women, and children. Babies even. They have no moral code and don't follow any rules of law. No pity or mercy. Not even mercy kills" she stated
"Meaning?" he questioned looking down at her
"You don't have to either. Slaughter them with extreme prejudice. No survivors and no mercy. All codes that humans followed does not apply to them" she evilly smirked
"Understood" he answered placing his battle rifle on his back and taking out his combat knife and axe. With calculated demented movements e slowly disappeared into the darkness.
"This is going to be entertaining" smiled Orchimira.
"No. This will be a slaughter. He always held back. You gave him authorization and realization that he doesn't have to for them" warned Konan. "Now let's get moving. I know you want to see this, so do so on the pelican" she finished motivating the three others to get moving faster.
