Secret ONI Base

The group of elites were able to get the doors opened to see a narrow empty hall with the lights off. Not a sound of life was echoed as if the base was abandoned some time ago. An elite was about to step forward into it when the leading ultra held his arm in front of him preventing him from doing so. He moved the group to the side allowing for a few jackals and grunts to proceed first. The grunts moved forward with plasma pistols in their hand looking around curiously while the jackals activated their shields and arm attached plasma daggers. The elites followed after them closing the door behind them.

The group moving forward clearing room after room to find no one hiding. It got to the point that the elites started mixing the formation with the front to hurry the process up. A grunt was trailing behind in the rear in a lazy walk. It felt like a boring clearing run when a hand reached from the darkness and ripped his inhaler from his mouth. In a panic and choking cry, he collapsed to the ground forcing the others to look at him.

"What is this foolishness" glared the ultra seeing the grunt panicking on the ground. He as well was the group couldn't understand a word he was screaming.

"Leave him to find his inhaler. It must have snagged on something" spoke an elite turning to the front to see a jackal frozen in place unlike the others. Pushing him lightly he watched in shock as its head rolled off and hit the ground with its body following.

With this the group went into a panic aiming at all directions for the enemy. They could only see things in flickers as the lights went on and off. They knew the enemy was here but only thing they could hear was the choking grunt.

The light flickered off and on again only for Naruto to appear in the middle of the group with his combat knife and axe drawn. With movements the group couldn't follow he slashed open an elite's neck while stabbing the combat knife into another's. Kicking one elite to its knees he rammed his own knee into its skull smashing it against the wall. Ducking underneath the slash of an energy sword he gripped the arm holding it and used it to slash opened a nearby jackal.

With such close proximity he was able to dismantle the leaving only two members left. The Ultra was clenching his wounded chest looking at a jackal crawling away on its stomach. It didn't get much further as Naruto appeared standing over it. Reaching down he wrapped his hands around its neck and snapped it. Moving away from it he then walked over to the down elite.

"Demon" coughed out the elite in blood as Naruto raised his boot and smashed it through his skull without care. Seeing that all the enemies were dead he started looking over their equipment. The first two things he messed with was the energy sword and daggers. Looking it over it seemed easy to use and activate. Just a simple button. Placing daggers on his wrist he pressed a few buttons on his armor making them magnetized to them. Next, he placed sword on his waist. The last two things he looked at was the plasma grenades and the jackal's energy shield. Both were easy to activate with a simple button as well. As much as he wanted to look through the bodies more, he didn't have the time, so with that he was running towards the pelican.

Pelican

Agent Konan could be seen typing away on a wall computer outside as the three scientists were waiting inside looking at a pad that showed them the video of the ambush. His movements were brutal and quick. Most of the enemy didn't even get the chance to react, were some of the thoughts going through their mind as Konan finished up and walked to the pilot's seat.

"The base is set to explode 30 seconds after this pelican leaves" she stated removing it from stand by mode as Naruto appeared from the entrance and climbed in. Sealing the entrance close the pelican took off into the sky and away from the base. Like it was set to do the base exploded destroying all evidence of its purpose once the 30 second timer was done.

30 minutes Later

The pelican had been in flight for some time when Carmilla pulled up next to Konan to find out what is going on. They should be on or at least approaching the ship.

"We are not" answered Konan confusing her. "The ship has been destroyed. I am looking for an alternative but it's difficult with all this chatter going on in the net. We are going to land so we don't provide the enemy a free target" she added putting the ship down in a nearby forest with trees long enough to cover them.

With the ship landing in a seemingly safe location Naruto went to work on opening a compartment in the ships outside side compartment to take out a black camo netting. He went to work placing it over the pelican before taking a knife and cutting out a section of it. With some rope from the supply bin, he used the cut sections to create a cloak to wear over himself before heading back inside the cabin. The group watched as he grabbed four small devices and placed them on his body. With them secured he opened up another supply case to take out pieces of a rifle. The three watched as he put them together to form a rifle, but not just any rifle. This is a M99 Stanchion Gauss rifle which was said to have no equal in distance or fire power.

The three were amazed to see that he had this rifle on the pelican but then again this is ONI. They always had access to the best and latest gear available. And this was all underneath 'him' as well. He always wanted the best of the best. It was how he got him.

"I will be setting up sensors and establish a permitter" informed Naruto placing the rifle on his back and walking out into the rain once not hearing a response to them. With the four sensors he set up a box permitter around the pelican before providing overwatch over the area.

With Konan

With a headset in her ear, she was looking down at a pad that was feeding information on the battlefield. She was getting increasingly annoyed for when she got in touch with a ship they enter combat, get destroyed, or unable to provide assistance. The way things are looking, getting off the planet may need to be called in from higher to have a personal escort or unsavory means.

When the thought of unsavory means came into mind, she thought of one of the cities that hasn't been evacuated. According to agents there was a private ship still in the city owned by a arms dealer. Well not a arms dealer but THE arms dealer. They got a hold of weapons and supplies of all kinds and sold them to UNSC, other militaries, and even rebels. Luckily, they never got a hold of Nova bombs, nuclear, or slipspace drives. ONI while keeping track of their activities never made any moves against them as they saw them as an asset. They can get what they need cheap, and they can sometimes track targets by the shipment. It was how they got that rebel commander the last mission. Seeing an alert go off on her tablet she read the message coming from ONI.

:Do whatever you need to get the team off planet:

'So, no escort right now. Most likely they are focused on the engagements all around. That means I need to set up a meeting with 'The Dealer'. Very unfortunate' she thought hearing a loud gun go off. Taping a button on the monitor in the pelican it showed a Covenant troop transport trailing smoke from one of its engines in the far distance before smashing into the ground in an explosion.

'They must have started scouting the area after the base exploding. We gained a good amount of distance from the base so they must have increased their search radius. We may need to move again' she thought

Cleargold City

Rain beat down on the half empty city. Some of the civilians have been evacuated while others have not. The Covenant had deemed this city not on their priority targets, so their forces here weren't vast. With that factored the UNSC forces garrisoned in the city were able to hold them to a stalemate at the moment which that was the goal. Hold them until evacuations could be completed but the issue was the skies weren't clear. The Covenant currently ruled them, so everyone was hiding inside.

Running along the sidewalk while trying to keep a low profile were five people covered in black cloaks. It was the team run by Agent Konan. After hiding and locking down the pelican they took the back roads to enter the city and head towards their meeting location. With Naruto standing guard over them Konan stepped up to a warehouse door and knocked on them in a pattern. A few seconds later a few knocks were sent back, and the door opened up for them.

With the doors opening up Konan stepped forward followed by the others with Naruto bringing up the rear. The walked to a clearing were armed civilians walked up to them.

"We must check you for weapons" a man spoke stepping up to them with a smirk

"Are you an idiot? There is a war going on right now. Of course, we have weapons" glared Konan moving her cloak away a bit to show her pistol.

"Well, we need to take them" he said stepping forward only for a hand to snatch him by the throat and hold him in the air as he choked. Dropping his weapon, he banged on the arm as it didn't even bulge an inch. The others aimed their rifles at the man holding him up as he aimed his magnum at another with the other arm.

"Lower your weapons" spoke out a voice in the darkness as a pair of footsteps was heard in the darkness. The footsteps could be identified as heels as they were attached to a woman wearing black camo pants, and short black mid drift dress. She had long red hair, tan skin, amber like eyes, and red lip stick. On her leg was a magnum as well.

"Mam?" muttered a man nearby confused. "Do so or you are all dead. I know what that man is" she finished as the men lowered their weapons as the man still was choking.

"Can you let the fool down now? I believe he learn his lesson. So please Spartan?" she finished making mutters sound about. Naruto looked back at Konan who gave a nod. He dropped the man who landed on his butt coughing a bit.

Looking up the man glared at the cloaked figure before reaching for his dropped weapon. Right as his hand gripped the handle a fist smashed into the rifle smashing it to pieces. The man now had a clear view of Naruto and could see the fully armored Spartan that his hood came down.

"Ugh, can someone get him out of here before he causes me any more issues" she stated as two men walked up from behind and dragged the man away. "So now that, that is token care of we can get down to business. So, what is that you require of me" she finished crossing her arms with a smirk.

"We want to get off planet. We understand that the only person who has a ship to do so in this area is 'The Dealer. So here we are Kurama" stated Konan as Kurama gave a nod in understanding.

"I do but there is something you must do for me and I'm not cheap"
