Authors Note: I'm glad you guys all loved the last two chapters I got a lot of positive feedback, but now it's time to continue, I was on a long hiatus and kept having to push back chapters and now I'm finally doing good enough to keep updating and I feel great so I hope you all enjoy the next installment of Dragon Ball Sup- Shit sorry wrong thing… Here's Yu-gi- .. Hinata Hyuga vs Neji Hyuga
"Will the final two contestants come down please?" Hayate asked as the two names appeared on the board. Everyone on the balconies was surprised that the two Hyuga were fighting each other, the ninja from cloud was upset not having a shot at either but knew during the finals, there would at least be a shot.
"Ni-san?" The princess of the Hyuga clan whispered as her eyes widened in shock and she looked over at the boy. Most of the Leaf genin looked worried as they saw the two names pop up. They knew that Hinata stood no chance against the boy, he was a prodigy, or at least that's what everyone said about him.
Neji smirked and hoped over the ledge and walked towards the center, "Protector, go ahead and name me the winner of this match please, my frail cousin stands no chance against me, she's too kind and that kindness makes her weak." Neji said with full confidence smirking nastily at Hinata.
"How about you shut the hell up Hyuga, I used to think the same as you but if Kindness really makes you weak than Naruto would have been murdered by Gaara within a minute of their battle. I'm not one to stand up for him, but kindness doesn't make you weak, being a smug asshole does" Sasuke said surprisingly most people there that he was the one to speak up. "Hinata I know how the Hyuga system works too because of my family, go kick his ass now and make Naruto proud of you," Sasuke said with a smirk making the girl eep and blush before twiddling her fingers.
It was no secret that the girl and Naruto had gotten extremely close, but she was still nervous around him and still had a huge crush on the boy which was painfully obvious. Neji was mad at what Sasuke just said, and his rage was clear, "How about you shut the fuck up Uchiha, you can't even talk shit anymore with a nearly extinct clan. Your clan was so weak it took one man to-" Neji's voice cut off and Sasuke's eyes spun angrily as the boy was held back by his sensei's clone. "Sasuke release him of the genjutsu now and calm the fuck down" Kakashi nearly yelled at the boy as his hands dug into his shoulders painfully. Sasuke hesitated but did as he was told and Neji hit the ground shaking and sweating.
"Just like a fucking dog, now how about you shut up Hyuga and worry about your fight and prepare to lose. Hinata you better beat your cousin or else I'll tell Naruto myself" Sasuke said threateningly making the girl get very worried. She quickly composed herself and shook her head before jumping down to the arena facing her cousin.
"Of course it's just like the main house princess to get everyone backing her. Fucking pathetic, you can't even stand on your own two feet without someone helping you. But it doesn't matter, fate put you in my way, and I am gonna make sure that you hurt by the time we are done here." Neji said before looking at his cousin in pure disgust.
"Ok everyone *cough, cough* Please shut up so we can start this battle. Both contestants *cough, cough* ready? Hajime!" Hayate yelled starting the match.
"Why do you hate me so much Ni-san? I never did anything to you" Hinata said trying to speak with her cousin.
Neji shot forward shoving his palm into his cousin's sternum before standing up straight as Hinata fell to her knees and coughed up some blood. He looked down on her with disgust as he spits on her, "It's because of you that my life is hell, all of this is because of you and the rest of the main branch, don't ever try apologizing to me Hinata-sama" He spoke with disgust before getting back in his stance. "Now get the fuck off of your knees and fight me damn it." This time he yelled at her, meanwhile, Gai, Neji's sensei was looking down on his student with sadness, wondering where he went wrong.
I thought I taught you better than this Neji, but it looks like we have a lot to work on when you get out of here. Gai thought to himself as he watched the match hoping the girl would soon fight back before she got really hurt. "Gai-sensei was is Neji-san so angry?" Lee, Gai's young proteggé asked him.
"There is a lot that goes on within the Hyuga that I cannot explain for there is a lot that even I do not know, but for now there is nothing we can do but watch," Gai responded as he watched the match.
Neji grew impatient as he watched his cousin get up and kicked her back, the girl flew back a few feet landing on her back. She coughed again and rolled onto her side and struggled to get up. "Come on Hinata you can do this" Kurenai yelled out encouraging her student, Hinata heard it and smiled at the encouragement she got from her sensei. Hinata got up and made the ram seal, "Bakugan" she said activating her dojutsu. Neji smirked and said nothing as he once more charged the girl down, Hinata sidestepped her cousin dodging his attack and quickly blocking his counter-attack with her forearm before bringing up her leg into her cousins' ribs knocking the older boy back a few steps. Neji got angry and decided to activate his dojutsu also before once more charging down the girl. That's when the battle turned into a bloodbath.
Hinata was fast because of her training with Naruto and a better fighter, but nothing could prepare her for the horrors that were her cousin when enraged. Neji quickly started attacking Hinata with quick pinpoint attacks and deadly accuracy. He was also making sure to hit vital points. Within 30 seconds the battle had turned, Hinata tried to block some attacks, but Neji was angry and didn't care about anything but his revenge. Hinata fell to the ground and coughed up blood barely conscious, she saw Naruto walk back into the arena with the Third Hokage and Kakashi. She attempted to smile and get back up as she struggled to get up and face her cousin Neji slammed his palm into Hinata's chest, just barely missing her heart by mere centimeters.
Hinata's body went limp and started to fall to the ground, meanwhile, Naruto froze as he saw Neji smile at striking down his cousin. Naruto saw red and all he wanted to do was kill, he could hear Kurama trying to calm him down but to no avail.
"Naruto your old body still has my old hatred and bad chakra in it, you can still succumb to the evil parts of me you need to calm down! Until you control my chakra again you can still lose control" Kumara tried yelling at Naruto, but he saw what happened too. He knew it would take a lot to calm the boy down, he was still in control but not for long and Kumara was worried because he knew what the boy was capable of.
"HINATA!" Everyone heard Naruto's demonic scream, Neji's smirk quickly disappeared as he saw Naruto's chakra system. His body started to shake in horror as Naruto stared him down, Naruto's KI pouring out of his body most of it directed at the Hyuga boy. Naruto's eyes were red and slit as he shot towards Neji and held the boy up in the air by his throat. The entire area was still as no one moved an inch worried, most of the foreigners scared shitless feeling Naruto's chakra.
"Naruto" the Hokage now shoved his KI into Naruto, the boy shivered as he dropped Neji and turned to face the kage. His face went from anger to being worried, Naruto quickly composed himself, "My apologies Hokage-sama" Naruto said before his eyes turned to his future lover and showing fear. "We need a medic ASAP" Naruto screamed holding the girl, he quickly started to transfer a very small amount of his chakra to her a trick her learned he could do with Kurama's chakra. He couldn't stabilize her but he could slow down any damage that was happening to her. Naruto started to follow the medic's but they stopped him.
"We need to perform surgery immediately, we don't need you interfering demon brat," the one medic said as the two ran out quickly with the girl on a stretcher.
Naruto didn't know what to do but stand there, the arena was still quiet until the Hokage broke the silence. "Will all the winners please come down to the arena floor, I missed quite a few matches and I apologize for missing the bouts. But we need to continue on with what will happen next. Now, will all of the winners stand in a line, side by side in front of me" The kage asked as various genin came down to the floor randomly putting themselves on the line? Hiruzen looked at the 12 genins in front of him and smiled, most of them were from his village and a couple from the other villages. The finals would indeed be interesting, but now to find out the battles. "I am going to walk down the line, everyone please reach inside and grab a slip of paper, these papers will determine your matches for the finals," The kage said as he started at one end.
Everyone got a piece of paper and looked at them. The matches that appeared above.
Uzumaki Naruto (Leaf) vs. Hyuga Neji (Leaf)
Uchiha Sasuke (Leaf) vs. Lee Rock (Leaf)
Nara Shikamaru (Leaf) vs. Temari (Sand)
Inuzuka Kiba (Leaf) vs. Tenten (Leaf)
Yamanaka Ino (Leaf) vs. Takamasa Obi (Cloud)
Ambure Shino (Leaf) vs. Asari Arinori (Earth)
"I wanted to congratulate all of you on making it this far through the exams, It wasn't easy but for now you have time to rest. You are all given one month to prepare and get ready for your next matches. Your kages and daimyos will all be contacted by myself and will be here for your matches. For now go home, shower rest and get stronger because one month from now the real battle begins." With that Hiruzen concluded his speech and everyone left to meet with their teams and went from there.
Naruto had nothing to do with his team as he quickly left. He had two very important things to do, Kakashi went to get the boy, but as soon as he realized that Naruto left he knew it was no use. Naruto meanwhile was using Shushin after shushin trying to get to the Hyuga compound, he had to contact Hiashi and let him know what happened with Hinata.
It took Naruto only mere minutes to get there, which was surprising considering how far he came from. Naruto approached the gate guards, "Hey guys, I need to see Hiashi-same immediately" Naruto said in a panic.
"Sorry Naruto, we would love to help out but he's in a meeting with the elders and won't be free for a while, but what's the emergency?" Guard 1 asked curiously and hoping to get information.
"Hinata is in the hospital, in surgery and is in critical condition. Hiashi needs to know asap, I don't know what's going to happen but I am going there right now" Naruto said, the Guards taken aback by surprise. Naruto quickly turned around and left to go to the hospital hoping everything would be alright with his princess.
One of the guards spoke into a transmitter that leads directly to Hiashi, "Hiashi-same, urgent news, your daughter is currently in surgery after an intense battle in the chunin exams. Uzumaki-san told us before leaving for the hospital."
Hiashi, a simple man, also the leader of a clan froze in the middle of his meeting. "Hiashi whats wrong? What's going on what did you just hear?" One of the elders demanded.
"I must go immediately, my eldest, Hinata is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery which may or may not be critical. But it is scary enough for Uzumaki-san to warn me which has my concerns we will finish this meeting at another time. For now, I must make sure my daughter is alright" Hiashi said before quickly exiting the room baffling the elders and upsetting them.
Hiashi quickly took off to the hospital, needing to know if his daughter was alright. He did her wrong in the past after her mother died but ever since Naruto showed up he has slowly been doing right by her, and right now she needs him.
When he got to the hospital though he saw a young Uzumaki screaming at the nurse running the front desk. Hiashi sweatdropped at this site, So much of your mother in you with a furry like that. "Uzumaki-san calms down," Hiashi said calmly, placing a hand on his shoulder before looking at the nurse. "Now excuse me miss, I am Hyuga Hiashi as you can tell, now please tell me where I may find my daughter so myself and Uzumaki-san may be on our way," Hiashi said.
"As I was trying to tell that… kid" she gritted out, "Your daughter Hinata-san is still in surgery and cannot be seen, if she makes it through the surgery she will be placed in the ICU. For now, you can go wait on her, she's the third room on the right in the surgery hall." The nurse said, Hiashi nodded softly and brought Naruto along with him to the wing to the hospital that they needed to get to.
Naruto and Hiashi walked in silence it didn't take long to get to their destination and sit down on a bench. Naruto was surprisingly the first one not to break the silence, but Hiashi was. "Naruto-san while we wait here it is about time that we talk about some important things," the man said.
Naruto sighed deeply knowing that this wasn't going to be about ramen, "What's on your mind Hiashi-sama" Naruto asked, making sure to be respectful.
"What are your intentions with my daughter? You two have grown much, and she has taken being a ninja more seriously after meeting you. It is obvious that you are a positive influence on her which is why I allow you to stay her friend… that and a promise from a long time ago that you need not worry about. But I need to know what are your intentions with my daughter?" The man asked catching Naruto off guard.
"You surprised me there, not what I expected to talk about but no avoiding it now. Honestly, I was going to wait until after these exams when I became a chunin to ask, but I was going to get your permission to court Hinata when these exams were done and over with and I become a chunin. If you have any doubt on me becoming a chunin ask the Hokage to see my fight from the preliminaries, I know he recorded all the matches. You are in a for a surprise at what I can do, and my abilities, also know this" Naruto paused for a brief moment. He allowed Hiashi no time to interject though before he continued, "I'm fighting Neji for my first match, and I do not plan on going easy on him. Someone needs to pull that rod out of his ass and set him straight and I plan on beating him into the ground and hopefully changing him. Because he sees himself as better than me, which is for the best because when I kick his ass he won't have any other choice but to reevaluate his thinking." Naruto said concluding his end of talking.
"I see, I will be training Neji, and I won't hold back, he still needs to grow. Now back to my daughter you say you wish to court her? That means you've done your research and you know you can't just simply date my daughter." Hiashi said, Naruto nodded and let the man continue, "But you cannot do this unless you make chunin, so if you cannot make the rank this go around you better become a prince damn fast because I have prince's from other lands already asking for her hand in marriage." Hiashi said which made Naruto drop a little at hearing this. "So make sure you become a chunin, a little hint you do not need to win the exams to become a chunin, winning just helps," Hiashi said, giving the boy a soft smile.
"So that means I have your permission to court Hinata?" Naruto asked excitedly before adding, "Once I make chunin that is."
"Yes Naruto-san that is correct, once you are a chunin you may start courting my eldest daughter," Hiashi said with a sly smile. If the two start dating than the betrothal will be easier, maybe they will decide on their own to get married! On the inside Hiashi was beyond happy, he wanted nothing more than for his best friends son to marry his daughter.
A doctor walked out a few minutes later and after seeing Hiashi quickly spoke up, "Hiashi-sama I wasn't aware you were here. We are doing all we can for your daughter but her injuries are server. She will have to be placed in the ICU for a couple of weeks, two of those weeks she will be in a medically induced coma. But for now, she is out of immediate danger, you can come back tomorrow to check on her" The doctor said.
Naruto and Hiashi sighed in relief and Hiashi got up to leave but noticed Naruto didn't move. "Aren't you coming along Naruto-san?"
"I think I'll just stay here until we can see her I'm not ready to leave yet, so I'm just gonna go to the waiting room." Hiashi smiled and nodded at the boy before taking his leave, Naruto got up a few minutes later and went to the waiting room, making a clone to go grab a blanket from home for him while he sat and waited.
The clone quickly left the hospital and started to walk to the apartment, in no rush what was the boss going to do? Pop him and get a new clone to do it, the same thing could always happen. The clone on his merry way ran into someone though and knew he was going to be delayed even longer. "Naruto? What are you doing out over here I figured you would be training or at the hospital"
"Oh hey Sakura, Nah I'm just kind of relaxing for today ya know? Just finished a really hard day need some me time for at least one day." The clone of Naruto replied putting his hands in his pockets as he walked onwards, Sakura following suit.
"So what are you doing now that if not training or eating ramen or well… doing anything?" Sakura asked wondering what her teammate was doing all alone at night.
"Going home, gonna grab some things and just do my own thing. You should go train, try talking with Kurenai-sensei about learning genjutsu. That could help you out with how strong your chakra control is, now you should work on our reserves and jutsu that you know. Widen your area of what you know and get better. No one likes a weak ninja who holds people back Sakura" Naruto said trying to be helpful, but also being slightly harsh to get the message across.
Sakura kinda slowed down and got sad for a moment, "Naruto do you really think I'm useless?"
"Honestly Sakura I feel like you would have a lot of potentials if you applied yourself. I'm always belittling you because you have the potential to be good but instead you keep trying to chase Sasuke, I keep telling you the same thing over and over again because I'm trying to get it through your thick skull. But Sakura if you truly want to stop being useless than go out there and train, stop trying to look good all the time. You don't need to worry about the way you look what you need to really worry about is the battlefield. Because we will be sent out on harder missions if you don't want to die or worse get people killed than do something" Naruto stopped for a second to catch his breath. "You can do a lot with yourself, but it's all up to you once you stop caring about everyone and anyone else and worry about yourself as a ninja you will be stronger look at me. When does anyone ever see me outside of a training field? I am always striving to better myself because there is always more to learn, I know what I need to do in this life, find your meaning and go train. Better yourself and people won't look down on you as much, I hope you have a good night Sakura" With that, the clone used a shushin to get out of that situation.
It didn't take much longer for Naruto to get through the loud village to his apartment, he walked up the old, worn down steps to his front door and took out his key to unlock the door. Naruto smiled upon walking into his apartment, it seemed more lively now, something he had wished he had years ago. Now with Arashi living here his apartment seemed more like home than ever, yes this is one of the only homes he ever knew until it was destroyed in Pain's attack, but now it feels like a real home. Arashi was sleeping on the couch, women on top of him a blanket covering them, Naruto chuckled at the sight, the man had become a sort of playboy since arriving in the village. Naruto couldn't even judge him he hadn't had female companionship for so long, he wants to have fun and do his own thing let him. But when he starts having kids left and right Naruto is going to start laughing his ass off. Then again with him being a clan head now, and the Uzumaki bringing back the name. Everyone openly hates him, but Arashi, no one knows him and he must seem worthy to the other villagers.
Naruto sighed before quietly moved through his place and went into his room to grab a blanket. He took out an empty scroll and sealed the blanket up, with a couple pairs of clothes just in case boss decided to stay at the hospital for more than one night. The clone went back to the fridge and grabbed some ramen for the boss and sealed them up too, and then quietly and quickly left the apartment. This time the clone took the roofs hurrying back to the hospital hoping not to run into anyone. He had taken too much time and now it was getting really late so he knew that he had to hurry. He got into the hospital and saw the boss lazily meditating, he walked up and gave the boss the scroll, the second he let go of the scroll the real Naruto dispersed his clone. Still meditating and never moving he went through the memories and thoughts of his clone and sighed.
"Might as well make the most of this" Naruto muttered to himself and took out one of his ramen and with the power of ninjutsu and waiting about 3 minutes he made the ramen before quickly eating it. After finishing his food he took out the blanket and snuggled up, he knew he couldn't stay at the hospital too long, but he knew he had to see Hinata at least once. With that Naruto finally fell asleep in the most uncomfortable way possible.
Author's Note: well here's another chapter, a little shorter but that's because starting with the next chapter, Naruto begins training and guess who he trains with? You guessed it GOKU! Sike it's Jiraiya, and Naruto may be strong but he is no match for this sannin when he wants to fight. Jiraiya will be surprised at Naruto's strength and speed and a lot will happen, but I can't tell you everything so R&R and I hope you enjoy this chapter
