Authors Note: I'm back again, I've had my story pick back up and I loved the reviews you guys have left and are leaving. Some were upset about Naruto losing, but come on I can't make him a god he's to young for that, yes he will be stronger than the rest but not to strong too soon. I'm sorry about this but we already know everyone else's strengths and weaknesses. If Naruto is a god too soon this story will goto shit to fast so sorry, but enjoy what there is.
"Fuck my head" He sat up putting a hand to the back of his head.
"Ah so you've finally woke up? Good timing too you have to leave soon" Kakashi spoke in a soft voice to his student. Naruto looked up at Kakashi and immediately knew where he was, and then he smiled, smiled huge, he did it! He stopped the invasion from happening. It's a small step in the grand scheme of things but it was a start, and this will already have huge complications. Hopefully it will be for the best, but for now he needs to train. As it is he still stands no chance against Orochimaru, all he can do is out up a decent fight against the man but he can't stop him. If he can't stop him, than he stands no chance against the Akatsuki.
Wait, what did Kakashi just tell him? "What do you mean leave soon?"
"With Jiraiya, he's leaving in 4 hours, you're going with him. We both know you will be more than fine with him, and this will serve as a training trip as well as a pick up mission. It's time you get her and bring her back, and we've agreed you shouldn't tell Tsunade the truth unless it is absolutely necessary." Kakashi was being firm, he meant what he said, and Naruto knows that even if he fought the man seriously Kakashi would still probably win. The man was very versatile.
"Ok, I won't tell her for now. It's probably for the best the amount of people who know is to large anyways." Naruto was in full agreement, he needed to keep this secret as air tight as he could. The only other people who need to know are the other Jinchuriki, and that's due to the fact that they deserve to know. Everyone else who found out would just make things worse for the timeline, Naruto knows he already risked a lot telling who he told. But with what all he is doing, it would have been impossible to hide it from everyone. He didn't seem like a prodigy he knew what he was doing. That raises suspicion including with who he is, by taking out suspicion from high above, it's easier to hide further down, now that he has Jiraiya as his official teacher no one will second guess his strength.
The world was now moving fast, including with the past exams, Naruto saw new faces, and stringer people, that boy he fought, Obi. He was stronger than any genin should have been, which means B has been busy training again, and he's not slacking though. Naruto was happy about the changes though, everyone was getting stronger and now so was he. He had the chance to be truly strong. As it was he was easily as strong as a regular jounin, but that's not good enough. He couldn't beat Kakashi, hell he couldn't beat him in a million years but that's besides the point. He was good, but for the real threats he wasn't anywhere near where he should be. Hell even with the mission to the land of snow, even those guys are still a threat to him, he could put up a better fight now, but then they will take him more seriously. Naruto got by on luck because no one would take him seriously. This wasn't then and now he needs to be serious, about everything. First off he has that pact with the Shinigami, that is going to be hrd all upon itself.
"So what do we do first Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto wasn't sure what the time table or plan was and he had to find out, he hurt a lot, but he was good to get out of the hospital by tomorrow or the day after he would be fully healed.
"You have about 4 hours to get packed and meet Jiraiya at the North gate" Naruto nodded at the information, Kakashi knew there wasn't much time to talk about anything else and Naruto needed to get going. "Good luck Naruto, I hope things goes good with your training with Jiraiya, I'll be taking Sasuke's training into my own hands, so don't think you're out of the water yet with him."
Naruto smiled at that, thinking of what all could actually happen if Sasuke could be a real match for him. Though with what he was going to go through it wouldn't even matter, Naruto was planning on becoming unstoppable.
As Naruto turned to take off Kakashi yelled one last thing at him, "Also you didn't make Chunin" Naruto stumbled on take off slamming his face into the ground, he turned around with a hopeless look on his face to see Kakashi already gone.
"Fucking asshole" Naruto mumbled under his breath as he quickly left again heading to his apartment. It only took a few short moments of the boy hoping atop the roofs of the village to get to his apartment, he walked in to see his keeper sleeping on the couch. Naruto sent a clone to wake him up as he turned into his room to start grabbing scrolls he had already pre packed with clothes and food. He put 3 in his cargo pocket and two more into his kunai pouch.
"Naruto-sama how may I help you" Arashi walked in the room, up and ready to go. He knew something was going to happen, the clone that woke him had urgency.
"Arashi you have 3 minutes to pack, we're leaving the village with Jiraiya of the Sannin to go find the women who will be our next Hokage and to train." Naruto smirked when he saw the look of surprise in the man's eyes. Naruto knew that Arashi had taken finding out everything about Konoha into his own hands. He had seen the man reading, and rereading everything about the villages history past and present, so the man more than knew who the legendary Sannin were.
The surprise quickly left the man's face, and returned to it's normal stoic look, "Yes Naruto-sama" The man quickly ushered himself into the next room to grab his things, Naruto meanwhile changed into some clean clothes.
The orange clad boy walked out of his room feeling refreshed and almost jumped when he saw Arashi standing about half a foot from the boy, "I am ready to go Naruto-sama"
"Holy shit Arashi" Naruto moved a few steps backwards, "I thought we talked about personal space, to close" Naruto laughed a little bit. The man had easily come a long way but had a long way to go, he reminded him of Sai just a little bit. "Alright let's get going, we gotta meet Jiraiya" Arashi nodded and followed Naruto out, Arashi set all the locks for the boy. The two quickly left, Arashi sending off a clone, probably to let all his girlfriends know he's leaving the village. Naruto didn't understand how that redheaded man pulled so many girls, it was a mystery he didn't care to find out. Naruto sent a clone out to do his own thing too… well to do two things actually.
As the two headed towards the North gate the clone meanwhile did a U-turn and headed towards the hospital. He had a mission, and while there was no rush, he also wanted some ramen. Even if it wouldn't really do anything for him, he still loves the taste.
The clone walked into the hospital, the staff wasn't even surprised to see Naruto walking around instead of in his room, this was very common with the boy. "If you're up and walking around why are you still here?" The nurse at the front desk asked the boy.
"Here to see my buddy Sasuke Uchiha" Naruto said with a foxy grin.
The nurse rolled her eyes, she knew the boy would find him one way or another, she might as well just give him the room number, "He's in room number 324 west" she said, before she could even look up Naruto had taken off to the west wing of the hospital to get to the room.
It didn't take the boy long to get where he needed to, even if the hospital was fairly big, having 14 floors, he was still fast and nimble, and walking on the ceiling makes it easy to avoid foot quickly got up to the third floor, and leisurely scrolled to room 24. The surprise on Sasuke's face when Naruto walked in was funny, "Don't worry I'm just a clone"
Sasuke nodded and turned his head back down to eat his lunch.
When the clone didn't go anywhere or say anything Sasuke started to get annoyed, "Well what the fuck do you want? Want to rub it in my face how you beat me?" It still bothered the boy how big of a gap there was between the two, he could tell Naruto was pulling punches during the fight. He didn't know how strong the boy truly was and that scared him. More than anything it angered him though, he should be the strongest.
"I'm just here to tell you that I'm leaving the village" Sasuke's eyes widdened, he never thought the dobe would abandon the village, ever. "I'm with Jiraya of the Sanin we're on a mission, I'll be back hopefully in the next month or two, but I need you to do something. Get stronger, as strong as possible, because I'm coming for your ass and I want a real fight."
Sasuke grinned at the clone, now seeing the real reason the clone came, the boy wanted to fucking laugh. Of course he was going to get stronger, nothing would stop him from that. Sasuke would be the greatest no matter what, "You better watch what you wish for" Sasuke activated his sharingan to seem more intimidating and to show how serious he was.
The clone couldn't help himself, he pulled out some of Kurama's chakra. His eyes slitted and turned red, malice chakra filled the area, almost choking Sasuke, "Don't fucking tease me get stronger" And with that 'Naruto' used a Shushin to leave.
Sasuke was pissed, he still didn't understand what that was that Naruto did. Whenever the other boys eyes slitted and turned red, everything gets dark and cold, the ki that comes with it is horrifying. But as far as he knew Naruto had no kekkei genkai, so he was at a loss, and it scared him at the same time. He needs to overcome it, he knows once he can than Naruto will never be able to hurt him again. For now Sasuke knows he just needs to focus on healing, because as soon as he was healed nothing would stop him from getting stronger.
'Naruto' landed on a roof outside the hospital and made his way to the Hyuuga complex. He got there pretty fast, he was in a giddy mode after messing with Sasuke. Now he had to hurry and go see his princess, and Hiashi. Naruto jumped to the ground as he got closer to the complex, and slowed to a walk so as to not set off the guards watching the entrance.
"Hey guys how's it going" Naruto said as he got closer, trying to start some sort of conversation.
"Oh you're back, its been awhile Naruto-san how have you been?"
"I'm good, but in a rush is Hiashia-sama in?" Naruto asked showing his urgency, even as a clone he didn't want to stay around to long. Though he loved the scenery the Hyuuga complex provided he didn't want to be around to long.
"Yes, he's in his study you may proceed we'll alert him you're here, just make sure to knock this time" Naruto shuddered remembering the last time he bursted into the man's study, not something he needed to see again. Hiashi reading Icha-Icha while touching himself… Naruto was sure he was scared.
"Don't worry that will NEVER happen again without a damn good reason" Naruto walked into the compound looking around, the entry pathway had beautiful big Sakura trees lining each side, on the right was a small stream filled with koi fish also. It was truly tranquil. Naruto saw some Hyuuga sparing off to the left. He smiled watching the two train, he could tell the older boy… or girl? Was holding back significantly more to help train their Junior.
Naruto quickly made his way to the main house and let himself in. He took his shoes off by the front door, and walked to the back where Hiashi's study resided, the house was huge, but filled with pictures of the old head leaders and their family, and Naruto saw his favorite two pictures. The first was Jiraya's old team with a young Hiashi, his father and another little girl who was on there team. The second picture was Hiashi and his family, with his wife when she was still alive, pregnant with Hanabi. They all seemed so happy.
Naruto knocked on the door to the study, a quick "Enter" was said by Hiashi and the young blond boy let himself into the room. "How may I help you Naruto-san?"
"Well I come to give you information, I do not know whether or not I made chunin, but that is of no matter at the moment. Currently I am a clone, the original me has left with Jiraya of the Sannin this morning about a half hour ago on a classified mission. We may not be back for a few weeks, possibly a few months while we search for a special person. I can't go into details I hope you understand," the man nodded, he knew how missions worked, and knew Naruto's loyalty wouldn't be waived. "But regarding me and Hinata, I'm here to tell you that no matter what when I come back I plan on courting her, and if you think there is any reason I shouldn't than I ask of you to review every match I had in the chunin exams that were recorded, not just the finals. Unless you've seen everything, in which case disregard what I said."
Hiashi let out a long sigh, trying not make sure his face remained as stoic as ever, "I understand, and I will but I doubt I will see anything in there that will make me think differently. Be warned if you do not get your chunin rank and start courting my daughter though, there will be hell to paid, and it will be outside my control. First off you will be banned from ever stepping foot in the compound, or seeing my daughter outside of missions put together by the Hokage himself." Naruto eyes remained unchanged, he didn't even flinch from what he was just told.
"Nothing will stop me from being with your daughter, I love her" Naruto bluntly saying this shocked Hiashi, which was very obvious. "Stop me if you may, but I'm not as dumb as I seem and I know she feels strongly for me, so I know she wants to be with me too"
Hiashi sighed once more, this boy was making things difficult, "I know how she feels, but there are laws also. If you go against them you will just make things harder for the both of you, it's easier to just follow the rules and play nicely" You Idiot I want this to work too but you need to just play along or else it won't ever happen! Was all Hiashi could think, he wanted to just tell the boy, but he knew he couldn't at least not here.
"Now, now Hiashi-sama we both know I was made to be a rule breaker, now where is Hinata? I want to at least tell her goodbye before I leave" Naruto said, making it clear he wouldn't leave without being able to see her.
The man groaned as he stood up, stretching his legs for the first time that day. Oh how he wish his wife was still alive things would be easier, she was making real strides in trying to get the older members to change their ways. Her abrupt death stopped all the changes that were happening though. "Follow me, she's in her room at the moment" Naruto nodded as he followed the man out of the study and down the hall. Naruto quickly noticed how plain the house was, nothing really stood out. There were no plants, or work of art. Barley any furniture, the house was just their, but nothing made it so special, it was just… empty.
Before he could think any further on the subject Hinata's door opened, showing the girl in a t-shirt, and sweatpants. She obviously just woke up from a nap, and to Naruto she was looking very cute. "Good afternoon Father" she said with a yawn, before noticing Naruto was there. She quickly woke up, and her face blushed bright red. "G-g-good a-a-afternoon t-to you also N-naruto-kun" Hinata said.
"Hinata, Naruto here has something he needs to tell you, you two will talk in the hallway, and not go into your room, I will be watching, but I will give you the privacy to talk alone" Hiashi said, Hinata nodded as the man walked away.
"Hinata I don't have long so I'm gonna be brief" Hinata nodded giving the boy her full attention, though she really wanted to shy into her room and put her jacket on. She was really comfortable around the boy but she was still nervous and shy around him sometimes. She hoped this would go away eventually though, she hated being nervous around him. "I'm a clone, the real Naruto has been sent away on an A class, possible S class mission with Jiraya of the Sannin and will be gone for a few weeks, maybe even months. All I ask of you though is to please wait for me" Naruto pulled the girl into a hug.
Hinata was confused at what the boy meant but then 'eeped' when he pulled her into a hug, it took her a moment to hug back. She was happy to be hugging him, "Please come back safe" She managed to speak without stuttering as she nuzzled her head into the boy.
"I'm sorry Hinata-chan but I have to get going" Naruto kissed her forehead making the girl blush very bright, "I'll come back to you soon my love" Hinata passed out hearing that and Naruto chuckled placing the girl on her bed. He used herr window to leave, quickly leaving the compound.
What he did was brash and unwarranted, but he was in a good mood. He knew things were changed for the future, and a lot of things were going to be different, including if he kept Sasuke in the village. So for now he just had to roll with life and take the punches, and he knew that he could easily handle that. He did it once, he can do it again, because for the first time since he landed in the past he felt real hope again. It never left but he could feel it again, it felt like everything was going to be good. He could take any challenge that came after him so for now he just had to hope for the best. Naruto jumped through the village, unlike last time he didn't save the village from the Ichibi so people were treating him the same as ever, at least last time after the invasion people weren't as mean, and some were nicer to him, but that's okay, he could make things right. This is his destiny, he wouldn't let anything or anyone stop him from being the best he could.
"Well look who we have here" Naruto heard a scary familiar voice as he approached a side road that was mainly unused from the public. His eyes grew large at what he saw in front of him. "So Itachi, whatcha say we catch ourselves a little fox before lunch"
Fuck if these two are here, than the Atkuski must be out looking already, I knew they found me in Tanzua town last time but I didn't know they stopped here first. At least they don't know I'm a clone. "W-who are you two!" Naruto tried to act scared, better to play than show them what he could really do.
Before Naruto could do anything he was captured in Itachi's Mangekyou Genjutsu, "Don't worry Naruto this will be painless and quick, we're here to take you with us. We didn't expect to run into you so easily, but you came to us." Naruto smirked, he knew he only had one way out. Flood his chakra with Kumara's, so he did exactly that, that would also alert every Ninja in the village including Kakashi, Gai and every other A rank Ninja in the village who was worth a damn.
Naruto quickly tapped Kurama's chakra and flooded his system until he popped out of existence. As a clone he could only handle so much, but he easily got out a tail and a half's worth amount of chakra.
"Well that didn't work out so well huh Itachi" Kisame said as he held his sword Samehada.
"We need to leave now" Itachi said, which made his partner groan out in annoyance.
"What do you mean? We just got here, sure he was a clone but that doesn't mean anything, the boy's gotta be close we can easily get him" Kisame grinned, showing off his shark teeth. He was obviously bored and wanted to do something of interest, or else he wouldn't be pushing so hard.
"I don't know if you realized or not, but the boy used the Kyuubi's chakra, which here in the village is a beacon call to every Ninja in the village, including the Hokage. Even I can't defeat Hiruzen, he's the god of shinobi for a reason. You mix him with the likes of Kakashi no Sharingan, Gai of the gates and Hiruzen's son Asuma, and we will lose. For now let us retreat and refocus our efforts." Itachi said keeping himself fully in check.
Kisame obviously wasn't happy, but he knew that Itachi was right, "tsk, whatever let's go."
The two jumped to back off but were caught by surprise when Itachi was suddenly tackled by Kakashi. No one noticed Kakashi slipping a note into Itachi's Akatsuki uniform, but now the two were ready for a fight. "So Itachi, traitor of the leaf, and the tailless tailed beast Kisame of the seven swordsmen of the mist. To what do I owe the pleasure of feeling my student's chakra go off and than seeing you two here."
"Kakashi leave now and we won't hurt you. I will give you this one time to leave seeing as you were my taicho" Itachi offered the man a single escape. Kakashi moved his headband to cover his regular eye and show his sharingan. Itachi sighed, "If that's what it comes down to, than we will neutralize you."
Kakashi had already sent a clone to go get backup, but he knew he could hold out, he had a few surprises of his own. "The only person who can face you is me Itachi, being as I'm the only one to have a sharingan besides your brother, and he is nowhere near your level. So itachi, come at me." Kakashi took out a single kunai, waiting for the man to come at him.
Itachi instantly activated his Mangekyou hoping to end this quickly, he quickly put Kakashi in his Genjutsu Tsukuyomi. Itachi was surprised to see Kakashi activate a Mangekyou as well, so while they were inside the genjutsu he could be more free. "I know this is a surprise but don't attack me yet I need to talk to you. I know you're a double agent working with Jiraiya and the Hokage. I'm the only one to know about this outside those two, and I want you to know I don't blame you. You are the strongest Ninja out there for doing what it is you're doing. No one knows about my Mangekyou, I've been training my body to use it, I'm not going to tell you about it but just know you don't want me to use it on you. I have back up coming, so if you and Kisame want to survive than leave. Asuma, Gai and some other jonin are coming and will be here momentarily."
Itachi wasn't sure what to make of this new information "Play dead, it'll be easier to retreat." Kakashi nodded and Itachi ended the Genjutsu, and deactivated his Mangekyou. "Kisame lets go, we don't have time to waste"
Kisame nodded, "One second" Kisame quickly rushed Kakashi and swiped the man taking all of his chakra and adding the little bit to Samehada. "Now let's go, I left him with just enough chakra to breath, better hope his friends get him soon."
The two quickly turned around and left, within seconds Kakashi's backup arrived, seeing him on the ground they only assumed the worst. With Samehada taking as much chakra as it did Kakashi couldn't stay awake and passed out due to extreme chakra loss. Gai and Asuma quickly took chase after Itachi and Kisame with a few other Jounin, meanwhile Anko picked up Kakashi and took him to the hospital.
Elsewhere Naruto was hoping through the trees, when he stumbled falling to the ground. Jiraiya quickly headed down to the boys side, "Naruto what's wrong"
"My clone popped due to forcing out Kurama's chakra, he was met by Itachi and Kisame inside the village. I couldn't risk letting them know anything about me, so my clone did what he had to, to keep privacy. I don't know if they stayed for long or left, but we need to pick up our pace. Itachi might be on our side, but he has to keep the act up for a little bit longer, at least until it's safe to leave the Akatsuki." Jiraiya sighed, he knew Naruto was handling a lot, trying to keep up appearances, while literallying holding the weight of the world and the future on his shoulders.
"Don't worry kid, we'll figure it out, now let's go" Jiraiya offered the kid an empathetic smile and outstretched his hand to help his godson up. Naruto smiled and took it standing up. Here out started the real future, and Naruto was ready.
