Author's note: so yea a lot happened. Don't worry though, because this story is far from over, Naruto is going to get a harsh reality check from what just happened, along with a lot of people, so for now just enjoy!

"I do not know how many times I can tell all of you sorry" The man stood atop everyone else, thousands of people looked up to him, civilian and shinobi alike. "What happened the other day was a tragedy comparable only to what happened 13 years ago with the Kyuubi. We should have been more prepared for this attack, instead we were lax, and because of that we have suffered heavy casualties, but for as long as our walls stay up, as long as our trees still stand and as long as our people are breathing, the leaf will never give" He shouted as people started to cheer. It wasn't much, but there wasn't much to say. "I cannot promise any of you that we won't be attacked like that again, for I cannot see the future. But as long as I breathe I swear no harm will come to you, I will protect all of you, and even though I step down as Hokage, I swear to all of you that my successor will also protect all of you, so without further adieu, Tsunade will you come out here." Hiruzen called for his student, without any haste the women walked out, with her blue kage hate on, and the robes of the hokage flowing off her body she stood strong in front of the village. She no longer looked scared or worried, but instead held a strong determination in her face. "It is from this day on that Tsunade here will be your new hokage, so I present to everyone here within the greatest and strongest village, your 5th hokage, Tsunade Senju!" Hiruzen yelled the last part as everyone started to cheer and applaud knowing that the great Senju family was back in office, knowing that the greatest medic and one of the Sannin will now be protecting all of them.

Though she did not show it, Tsunade was scared shitless. She looked over the sea of faces, most she did not know, a few that were familiar, but overall she had no idea what she was doing. She was still confused as to how she got here, being hokage. She doesn't even remembering accepting, just being handed the get up and being told were to be while she was helping the hospital the day before. Tsunade wasn't sure what to do, so she waited for the crowd to die down before saying anything. It only took a few more moments, and after it was fully silent she knew it was now or never. "I won't lie to any of you. I've been out of the game for years, I'm a drunk and irresponsible. I should not have been the first pick for the Hokage's hat, let alone an option." Peoples faces were starting to look grim as she was talking, and now people were whispering between themselves. "But do not get me wrong, I'm changing all of that, I came into the village in the midst of a war the other night. It put a lot of things into perspective for me, it showed me I've missed too much, and I've run for to long but no more. I won't say I'm the best person to be Hokage, I still believe that should be my perverted teammate Jiraiya, but his ass could never do this job. So I promise all of you, here and now, that with all that I have, my Senju name included I will do my utmost best to protect all of you through any and all good and bad times." She shouted this last part, putting as much emotion as she could into her words so people could understand her.

For a moment nothing happened and then it started, with Gai and Naruto getting the crowd going with some cheering and clapping, within seconds the entire village was alongside them cheering for their new Kage. Once the crowd settled down she spoke again, "My crazy old sensei wasn't wrong when he said the other night was a tragedy. But we shall prevail, we aren't some weak half ass village we are the goddamn Village hidden in the Leaves, surrounded by a forest that was built by my grandfather himself, or so says the myth. Surrounded by the biggest and strongest gates out of the entire elemental nations, no one dares stand to us because they know they will fail, so stand with me everyone because we shall get through this like everything else. Nothing and no one will stop us from being the best" Tsunade screamed while raising her fist in the air, the village went crazy screaming in support of what she said. Her words reaching everyone. Once everything had calmed down Tsunade had dismissed the village to get back to repairs, while also calling in a certain list of gennin and their jounin instructors to meet her in the hokage's office.

After some time had passed and everyone was gathered Tsunade smiled at the group in front of her. "Only one of you was officially promoted to chunin after the exams and that was Nara Shikamaru. Now that I'm in charge though I'm going to make a few others of you chunin based on efforts from reports I saw from the invasion and also from the exams." Tsuande said, while a lot of the genin were now on edge, as well as their jounin instructors, even they didn't know this was going to happen. "First Tenten, for your outstanding performance throughout the exams I would like to promote you to the rank of chunin. You fought well and strong, and even when faced with stronger opponents, you didn't let your fears overcome you and fought to the best of your abilities, congragulations" Tsunade said as Gai tried to contain himself from crying out loud in support of this.

As Tenten went back Gai hugged the girl, "I'm so proud of you, good job Tenten!" The girl smiled and hugged her sensei back, before Lee also gave her a hug and congratulating her.

"Next up is Rock Lee" Tsunade said, this time both Lees and Gais heads shot up faster than a deer when it heard a predator. "Rock Lee, going over your matches from the Chunin exams and the field reports from the invasion I have decided to promote you to the rank of chunin. In your match against Uchiha Sasuke you showed maturity that most genin don't have. Giving up against an opponent due to your body even though you most likely could have kept going you showed initiative on when it was time to retreat, then with your field reports showing you stopping multiple enemies from attacking civilians and other shinobi and helping our forces tremendously while taking control of situations where it was needed. For this you are being promoted" Gai could no longer hold back.

"LEE! I CAN NO LONGER HOLD BACK ANYMORE, I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE PROUD OF SOMEONE!" Gai was screaming as tears went down his face, Lee grabbed his chunin coat and then ran back to his sensei.

"GAI-SENSEI!"

"LEE-KUN!"

"GAI-SENSEI!"

"LEE-KUN!"

The two finally met in the middle to hug while crying, and then it happened. "Everyone turn away!" Kakashi tried to warn as he closed his one eye, the other people in the room tried to listen but most were too late, and were unfortunate enough to see the sunset genjutsu that follows the two. Tsunade was also caught in the genjutsu, she broke through though by punching the two.

"Take that shit outside you two, Tenten, Neji you two can follow, I'm sorry Neji but you did not get promoted, everything I saw from your reports from the exams makes me believe you are nowhere near ready to be promoted, try again next time though. You have the strength but not the mentality" Tsuande said bluntly, Neji just nodded agreeing with the women. Ever since his battle with Naruto and everything that has happened since he has been steadily changing his ways.

"Hai Hokage-sama" the boy said as he and his teammate left to get their sensei and other team member.

Tsuande rubbed her forehead at the headache that is team Gai. "Next, Uzumaki Naruto, due to your outstanding performances in the chunin exams and in the field with personally helping the fight against Kira while helping multiple shinobi, and stopping the sound four you are being promoted to chunin, and are also being recommended for Tobestuki Jounin on the request of your sensei Kakashi and Jiraiya" Tsunade said making Sasuke and Sakura go wide eyed at this statement. Sasuke was seething with rage at hearing this it was one thing for the boy to make chunin, even Sasuke could (begrudgingly) admit that Naruto earned it. But a double promotion was plain bullshit.

"Wait what?" Even Naruto was surprised to hear this, Kakashi was the first one to speak in.

"There isn't much more for me to teach you Naruto, you know all you need to, you are beyond a prodigy." Kakashi said with pride in his voice, "Don't worry you two, with this one gone I can now show you how to really train" the man said in a very intense and creepy voice, giving both Sasuke and Sakura chills down their backs .

"Don't speak so fast Kakashi, I said that he was recommended, I never said he was getting it. I saw the runt fight in person, don't get me wrong he's strong, including that he can use the rasengan. He's strong no doubt, but I don't think he's ready for such a promotion yet, plus it probably wouldn't suit him to much. So for now I'm holding off on that promotion until he proves himself in the field some more" Tsunade said, Sasuke smirked thinking that was fair.

"Sounds good to me baa-chan" Naruto said with a cheeky smile before getting punched through the wall.

"I'm not that old you damn brat" Tsunade said as she took her seat again, Sasuke looked terrified at the woman while Kakashi and Sakura sweat dropped.

Naruto crawled through the wall, "Man things never change" the boy chuckled while speaking to himself, making sure no one heard. "Sorry Hokage-sama" Naruto said with some sarcasm in his voice making the women stare him down, "Anyways I agree, I'm good with being just a chunin" The boy said as he walked back to his team with an obvious limp and holding his arm.

"Alright good, now that everyone's up to date you're dismissed." Tsunade said, Sasuke initially wanted to yell out about not making chunin, but he stopped himself. The entire room gave a "Hai Hokage-sama" before exiting. Naruto took his chunin vest and sealed it before putting it in his pocket.

The boy told his team a quick goodbye before leaving, seemingly heading home. Sasuke knew better, he knew the boy was most likely going to train. It seemed to make the most sense, and Sasuke was tired of the boy being ahead of him. "Kakashi-sensei, can we go train? This invasion showed me how weak I am. I barely helped anyone and ended up hiding the whole time because I couldn't fight my opponent." Sasuke said, even though it was hard for him to admit it. He was weak.

"Alright, meet in our spot, I'll get Gai" Kakashi said as he shushined away. Sasuke went to leave when he felt a pair of eyes looking at him, he already knew they belonged to a pink haired girl.

Sasuke turned around, neither had talked about the night they were locked in the shrine. Both were nervous about how to continue, Sasuke wasn't sure what to do or how to approach the girl. He hasn't ever been close with someone, yet he held her like it was natural, like thats where she belonged. Hell they even slept together, even though it may have been platonic in nature they still shared a bed. Yet when he looked her way he would get flustered. He was nervous and shy he didn't know how to explain it, but he would also get angry. Angry because she was weak, he needs her strong, if she was going to be by him, by his side she couldn't be weak. The fact that she was weak angered him.

Sasuke let his anger get to him, "Get stronger before you fucking talk to me" He said while walking out of the office.

Sakura's face dropped, she was looking through the hokage, Tsunade saw the interaction and heard it. Even she had to admit that, that was too much, then Naruto jumped back in through the window, scaring the old kage. Luckily he dodged the hit. "Tsuande, this is the girl I was talking to you about. Who has perfect chakra control, but doesn't know what it means to be a real ninja. Give her a chance in training her, I have Jiraiya, she could have you. Sasuke is already cursed by Orochimaru the next group of Sanin could be raised right in front of your eyes. But we need her to catch up can you please help" Naruto asked her, pretty much begging. He knew it would be a long shot so he gave another incentive. "I'll also teach you a jutsu that will make doing the paperwork easier" Naruto said getting the Kage's full attention.

"Ok I'll give her a week"

Naruto cut her off, "A month, undivided attention,once the full month has passed I'll teach you the jutsu, this way you can't cheat me out of the jutsu" Naruto said.

"Fine, one month, Shizune get Shikaku Nara, might as well have is lazy ass do this for me until the month is over" Tsuande thought evilly. She would do anything to make this easier, if that meant giving her undivided attention to some gennin for one month, she would. She would work this kid into the goddamn ground.

Sakura, looked up, surprised to see the group looking at her, also surprised to see Naruto there. "Naruto-san? What are you doing back already?"'

"Oh I just got the new hokage, the Sannin Tsunade to be your teacher for the next month, maybe longer if she likes you." Naruto said as Sakura's face grew large with excitement. Then she withdrew when she saw the Sannin's face, Tsunade looked like she was about to have some real fun, and the face she bore scared Sakura. "Hope you're ready kid, meet me at training ground 33 tomorrow. Be prepared too, because I'm gonna grind you into the dirt by the end of the month." Tsunade then stopped as a surge of brilliance dropped through her and she started writing down a list. After a few minutes of writing she gave the list to Sakura, "Go and acquire these things, you have until tomorrow at 0700 to have these items and meet me at the training ground" Sakura nodded her head really quickly.

"Hai Hokage-sama!" Sakura quickly took her leave to go and buy the long list of items. She only had 12 hours to get it all plus eat and sleep. That didn't give her much time to get it all.

Naruto chuckled as he watched the pink headed girl quickly run out of the room hurrying to get everything. He remembered it being before and knew he was the exact same way when Jiraiya offered to train him. He just couldn't wait to get started, this was back before he learned seals though so of course he threw everything into his bookbag. How the bag didn't rip from all the shit he threw in there he wasn't sure, but boy was he excited. The old man was laughing at him being the little ball of energy he was. God he missed the simpler times like that. Naruto knew he shouldn't dwell in the past but he couldn't help it, being here, being in the village, before the destruction from pain and everyone else. Before the rebuilding. It was the same as his childhood and he just couldn't help but reminisce.

Naruto looked around the hokage's room, and even this was different than what he was used to, after the destruction of the village the hokage tower was built higher and stronger, and the room was renovated. But this classic look just seemed better. However Naruto was interrupted from his thoughts, "So Gaki what do you need? If there's nothing more for you then you can leave. I don't know anything about missions yet I haven't even started to look at that pile." Tsunade said bluntly as she moved one stack of papers near her to start filing through them. Naruto thought for a moment, but shook his head.

"It's nothing baa-chan I was just thinking to myself was all, I'll see you later" Naruto said before using a wind shunshin to disappear before she could hit him… again.

Tsunade massaged her brows as she slumped back in her chair. Huh, what a thought that was, her chair, she never thought she would follow in the footsteps of her grandfather and great uncle. The thought seemed so foreign to her, and now her she was. She didn't even think about it, it just seemed like the right thing to do. She knew the two would be proud of her, she's finally starting to get her life back on track, and all thanks to a damn Uzumaki. Now that she thinks of it the kid did seem a lot like Kushina….

Tsunade quickly jumped to her feet as she ran to the records room, there was no way this kid was her kid. It was just coincidence… right? Tsunade quickly started going through medical files. But Uzumaki Naruto didn't show up until the age of 3, so where did he come from. Tsunade thought hard, the gaki showed up somehow he didn't appear out of thin air… did he? No even that is to impossible. Something had to explain his birth, wait who was Kushina always around though. Tsunade hit her head because she knew she the person but couldn't think of who it was. It bothered the ever living hell out of her. Tsunade groaned out loud as she laid her head back and looked up at the previous kage. That's when her eyes grew wide. "IT"S FUCKING MINATO!" Tsuande screamed out loud before covering her mouth and looking around. Then she realized no one knew what she was doing and she probably looked like a fool to her anbu guard. "Where's that old fucking monkey at" Tsunade grumbled as she got up and stormed out of the office, determined to find her sensei, she had completley forgot that Jiraiya had ignored her question about Naruto being that man's kid.

Meanwhile, an ex hokage sneezed as he felt a cold shiver run down his back. He turned away from his grandson whose time he was occupying, he had a feeling someone was coming and he wouldn't like what was to come. "Everything okay jiji?" Konohamaru asked as he looked up at the old man.

Hiurzen shook away the thoughts, "Yes, just an old man letting his thoughts get to him, let us keep playing" the Sarutobi head said as he made a shadow clone to play with his grandson in a more robust way.

Naruto came to a stop as he neared his destination. He had a promise to keep and it was about damn time he made it. Naruto walked right on in, ignoring the voices that told him to stop. Naruto opened the door to see a group of men talking to each other and to his person of interest.

"Now is not a good time Naruto-san" the man's words were haste and were warning the boy he had come at a bad time. But Naruto did not care, he would take out all of these men if he had too.

"Hiashi now is not the time, where is Hinata, I have a promise to keep good on" The boy told the men, meanwhile the elders surrounding Hiashi weren't about to have any of it.

"Go away you damned demon brat. We're busy, anyways Hinata-san doesn't need to be around someone like you. We don't care if you're a clan head or not." The one elder, the one who seemed most important sneered at the boy. Normally that wouldn't bother Naruto, he's so used to hearing it, but today was such a good day, he wouldn't let anyone tell him what to do.

In a feat of speed that surprised all of the elders, but of course not Hiashi, Naruto appeared behind the elder who told him off and said ever so elegantly, "Now, now. Was I talking to you? I don't believe so, so please fuck off before I hurt you, I asked Hiashi where his daughter was. Not any of you. Me and Hiashi had a deal, now that I'm chunin I'm here to make good on that deal." Naruto said giving just enough information so he wouldn't be fucked with, but also enough so Hiashi knew why the boy had come.

"Naruto, again now is not a good time, Hinata… Hinata is in the hospital, I assumed you had known this already, but she was injured during the invasion." When Hiashi said this, Naruto now knew why this meeting was so important. Hinata was most likely in critical condition, and she most likely was getting worse before she was getting better.

In less then a second Naruto was flying out of the compound as fast as possible, he needed to see her. He had to help her. It took less then a minute to get to the hospital, "Hyuuga Hinata, where the fuck is she" Naruto said as he approached the information desk. The nurse didn't even try fighting the boy, a lot of people had known what Naruto did to help, so a lot where more willing to assist the boy or be on his side now. The nurse quickly logged onto her computer typing in the girls name.

"She's on i345" The nurse said, letting Naruto know she was in the ICU. Naruto took that information, and ran into the stairwell quickly jogged up the steps, more than familiar with where he was.

He spent most of his life in this hospital, the only person who knew it better than he was probably Tsuande. It took a few minutes for Naruto to get up to the floor, another minute to find her room and that's when he saw her. "Oh god…" who could he blame but himself? He should have been there to protect her. And now she was hooked up to all these machines, a tube going down her throat to assist her breathing. He looked at the machines but they didn't make sense to him, he couldn't read blood pressure, EKG, SPo2, none of it. It was completely foreign to him, Sakura had tried to teach it to him a lifetime ago, but to no avail. It never stuck so he didn't know how to help, the boy fell to the ground a tear falling down his cheek as he tried to hold back the tears.

He should be able to do something, anything! "Calm down kit, we will figure this out, do not worry. Remember Tsunade is back in the village visit her, maybe she can help" Kumara pitched in. In all honesty the beast was sad, ever since they had come back he's done nothing but help his friend, and Naruto has done nothing but ignore him. He knows when the time is right he will open the seal, and fix the landscape that was his mind make it more liveable. But he hated what was happening now between the two. It reminded him of being inside Kushina, she would ignore him and only talk when she needed something. At least now he had a link to the 1,6 and 8 tails so he could talk to them, but still he missed talking with Naruto, he also missed being out of the seal. The beast sighed before deciding to spark up a conversation with the 6 tails, he wasn't sure why his brother wasn't in the village yet and needed to find out.

Naruto took a few deep breaths to calm himself, "Thank you Kurama, I'll go see her now, maybe she can do something more to help. Sitting her blaming myself will do no good." Naruto said, after regaining his composure, he got up and jumped out the window making his way towards his new kage. There were some things he needed to ask her, and if he had to introduce her to the future to make her help he would. But that was a last resort.

Tsunade made her way back to the hokage office, after everything she was told, she needed a stiff drink. Minato and Kushina were wed in secret, Jiraiya was his godfather and she was his godmother, she was supposed to be told but never was. She felt horrible, she never knew. She knew that she had to make it up to him, he was her last living relative.

Naruto burst into the kage office to see that Tsunade wasn't their, he turned around to run out the door and instead ran into a big soft pair of breasts. "Who the…" Tsunade looked down to see Naruto, surprised to see the brat, before she could say anything though he looked up at her.

"Hospital now. I don't care if your busy we need to look at a patient, I need to know you can save her…. Please baa-chan" Naruto asked her, his voice getting weaker as he neared the end of his sentence.

"Who's the patient" She asked, her voice soft, shwe wouldn't question it, not now she would go along with it. After what she just learned from Hiruzen…

Flashback 1 ½ hours prior

"Hiruzen you old fucking monkey get out here" Tsunade yelled as she walked into the Sarutobi clan compound. "I got some questions for you dammit."

Hiruzen walked out, knowing this wasn't going to be good. "How important is this" The man asked, not wanting to be away from his grandson, knowing any time he had with the boy was important.

"Very" She said, the man sighed and beckoned her towards him with his hand.

"To my office then, it's protected so we can freely talk."

The two didn't take much time to get into the room, Hiruzen closed and locked the door. He sat behind his desk and took out two glasses pouring some whiskey into them before offering one to his student. After taking the glass and sitting down facing her mentor and teacher Tsunade took a small sip before speaking.

"Is Naruto Minato and Kushina's child" She said bluntly. It certainly broke the silence that had followed the two into the office. Hiruzen nearly choked on his drink when he heard what was asked.

After a moment to get himself together he spoke, "I see so you were never informed… I was afraid this may have happened." Tsunade looked at the man but knew a story was about to be told. "Let me start from the beginning. Minato and Kushina were wed shortly before I announced the man the 4th. It didn't take long before Kushina became pregnant, now this was before Jiraiya was gone all the time for his spy network, so he was around for the pregnancy. Helping keep it secret and what not. Well the thing about a female jinchuuriki getting pregnant is that the seal weakens enough for the bijuu to escape during childbirth. So we made her pregnancy and her delivery date of the utmost secret. Minato himself set up a safe place for the birth to happen while he held the seal in place, biwoki was the head nurse delivering her baby. Well a masked man showed up and attacked almost immediately following the birth. The man grabbed the infant from Minato's hands. He gave Minato an ultimatum, either the baby or the seal, Minato chose Naruto of course, he came this far he wasn't about to just throw away his child. When Minato had returned the Kyuubi was already set free rampaging the village. Everyone knows what happened from therein except this. Minato used the reaper death seal mixed with the 8 trigram pentagram seal to seal the Kyuubi inside of Naruto. The Kyuubi in one last attempt for freedom tried to kill Naruto, but Kushina and Minato used their bodies to stop the beast, and then it was all done. The seal was complete and the two were no more. I watched this happened but couldn't do anything due to a barrier from Kushina. I quickly ran to their side with 3 other anbu who were with me at the time. Kushina's last words were for me to make sure Naruto survived, and that you and Jiraiya were the godparents. I sent out a messenger to find you but I guess the message never got to you, all it said was that you had a godson, and to return to the village if you wish to meet your family." Hiurzen finally finished his story, when he looked up his heart broke as he saw a single tear falling down the womens face.

"He… he had someone though right? He still had some kind of family he wasn't alone right?" She needed to know what happened.

"The village blamed him for Minato's death and saw him as the Kyuubi reincarnate. Everyone shunned the boy, the radicals would even attack him…. He never knew true happiness. The only people he had was myself and the owner of a ramen stand in the village."

Tsunade broke the glass as she heard this, the whiskey dripping down her hand as blood ran alongside the liquor from the few cuts she acquired. She had family and she never knew, she couldn't blame the old man. Anyone who knew Tsunade knew she didn't want anything to do with the village after the last great war. Plus the old man did all that he could, it wasn't like she was the easiest person to find either she was always moving.

Hiruzen was unsure of what he could do to console the women, but she stood up, "Thank you sensei I'll be going now"

"He knows who his parents are, Jiraiya told the boy he was his godfather, he accepted him, maybe he can accept you also." Tsunade got up and left, she couldn't be here anymore.

Flashback end

how could she not. She would now do anything for this boy, within reason, she just wasn't sure how to tell him she was his godmother. Would the boy still accept her? She had no idea and it terrified her.

"Hinata Hyuga, she's in the ICU and they can't help her." Naruto was trying to be strong, but he was breaking he didn't want to lose her again, he lost her once he couldn't again. "I don't know what to do I just"

Tsunade put her hand on his shoulder, "Show me where she is no one will stop us." Naruto did his best regain himself as he nodded his head.

The two made their way to the hospital by rooftop, not many people noticed them and even when they did no one really cared, the anbu patrolling thought it unusual for the hokage to be with a genin but no one questioned it, the hokage did what she saw fit. Plus it was only the first day maybe there was some ulterior motive to it. A few anbu held back to make sure she was okay though, inside the village or not an invasion did just happen. Who's to say there won't be another attack.

It didn't take too long for the two and their little entourage to reach the hospital, once the anbu saw where Tsundae was the small group dispersed to get back to patrolling the village's security. Naruto was about to walk in the front entrance but Tsunade stopped him. "It's faster through the roof" Naruto seemed confused but did as she said, once they got to the roof Naruto looked at the locked door then back to her. He was unsure of what to do until he saw her pop the door off its hinges with a single punch. The two quickly got to the ICU, and in no time they were in the women's room. Tsunade had Naruto wait by the door as she walked to the girl. She first picked up Hinata's chart and read through it all, taking her time as she did so making sure to soak in all the information. After about 5 minutes, she moved onto a physical assessment. She checked the girls capillary refill, manually checked her vitals, found the median for them, checking skin color, a full head to toe assessment. She then used her chakra to start reading the girl internally. Once more Tsunade started at the head, taking her time to fully read the girl, trying to fully understand the situation and what was going on. This took her about another 15 minutes. Once she was done she walked to the boy.

"She's had severe trauma to the head, that's why she's in her coma like state, from the paperwork I've been able to see that the coma is medically induced for her own safety. Her liver is failing also caused by trauma and she has 5 broken ribs, 3 of those are cracked. There's a whole other mess of things wrong with her too. But for now she will be fine, why the doctors can't fix her is beyond me but I'll keep her alive just give me a few days, and I promise it will work." Tsunade said. Naruto nodded in thanks.

"I just can't lose her" Naaruto gave the women a hug as she slung an arm around the boy.

Elsewhere…

"AHHHHHHHHHH…." that's all that could be heard in the hallways. For ours it was just screaming, the people didn't know what to think.

Kabuto had returned from the invasion, limping and broken, that was a couple of days ago. No one had seen Orochimaru, but anyone and everyone who had a curse mark was forced to return to the underground base that was the Sound village. The scream was new though, it was blood curdling and all that heard it was scared about what it could mean. The scream had been going for almost half an hour and then it was gone.

"Where am I"

"Home base my lord, the invasion was a success but Jiraiya and Hiruzen killed you, beheaded and burned the body. I had to use that technique to bring you back but the first couple of dozen couldn't survive and as you can see the other versions didn't make it. Turns out if they only have the first level of the curse mark you can't be pulled out" Kabuto said pointing out the dead ninja and the half dead Orochimaru's that were attempted to pull out of the curse marks.

"Ah I see, I hate having to use old seal marks to come back and play, my consciousness doesn't come with, and all the memories I have made since I implated myself have been lost. I will need your help Kabuto-kun, help me remember a few things" Orochimaru said looking at his right hand man.

Kabuto bowed, "As you wish my lord" the boy pushed up his glasses and smirked a devilish smile. This is going to be a lot of fun.

Authors note: so chapter 33, god I've come a long way. I meant to update sooner but I'm also revising old chapters and work has me busy as hell. I plan to revise chapters 8-24 before my next update, but if i feel like too much time has gone by, then I will start chapter 34. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter and until next time.
