Author's note: So to start off I have fully fixed every chapter in this story, if anyone notices anything I may have missed or possible messed up please message me and I will work on it or explain why it is that way. Anyways here's chapter 35!

"Come on now we're not done yet" Gai said as he got ready for yet another round of taijutsu.

Sasuke meanwhile was bent over with his hands on his knees; this is what it's been like for the last week and a half ever sense the invasion ended. Nonstop training, in the morning he would warm up with Gai, after that was done he would do sharingan training with Kakashi and then ninjutsu training until his reserves were dangerously low. He would then go eat lunch and once he was done the rest of the day was pure taijustu training with his weights on with Gai until his body couldn't stand anymore. Sakura would come by at night and wait until the boy collapsed to start healing him. Sasuke has already noticed a steady increase in strength and speed from this training and it hadn't even been two weeks yet.

Kakashi hadn't been lying when he told Sasuke he was going to work his ass into the ground. He thought the raining he did during the Chuunin exams were intense, but this was a whole other level of hell. The boy stood up tall, "I'm ready Gai -sensei let's go again." Sasuke said as he got into an unfamiliar stance. Gai's method of teaching was to show the boy the Ka ta's once and then force him to only use that method of fighting until he mastered them. Anytime he broke the style of fighting Gai would make the boy do some kind of ridiculously hard regiment as punishment. Last time it was 100 laps on one hand around the training area, and Sasuke wasn't allowed to leave until he finished the punishment. He hated the nightmares he had this morning but after a good breakfast he had felt better. He had come straight to the training ground to train after what happened where his sensei's where waiting for him.

Sasuke was visibly drenched in sweat and moving slow, he was barley even running anymore, but still he didn't stop he had to prove to the two Jounin that he was worth the training they were giving him. Sasuke quickly threw a kick at Gai's midsection which was easily blocked by the older man, Sasuke didn't stop there as he used the ground for help and with the correct placement of his hands turned his body so the way his free leg could uppercut the Jounin-sensei. Gai stumbled back a few steps as the hit connected and the man smiled.

"Good job Sasuke, you're catching on fast. If you weren't so tired you would be doing better, but it's ok not everyone can be as good as Lee or Naruto" the man said taunting the boy. It was just what the Uchiha needed to continue his attack against the man. With renewed energy from his hatred at being weaker than his peers Sasuke more quickly attacked the man and this time was able to connect the kick to the man's stomach making the Jounin double over, before repeating what he did and kicking the Jounin in the face again. This time Gai didn't stumble backwards but instead was lifted off the ground a few inches before landing on his ass.

"There we go; I knew you weren't out of energy yet, now let's go. You're still standing so we still aren't done." Gai said pushing the child to keep up his training.

While this was going on Kakashi was about a hundred yards away watching the two fights each other. A lot had happened recently and it was crazy to think that he was almost the Hokage. Thankfully everything worked out, but who knows what would happen next. Orochimaru tried to use the invasion to get Sasuke and who knows what else, thankfully he failed but the snake wasn't known to just quit. Even though he was dead Kakashi couldn't help but think that the snake would find a way to come back and get the boy. He knew that with himself and Gai training the boy every day nonstop that he would get more powerful than he could hope for, but he wasn't sure if that would be enough to sway the temptations of the Sannin.

But even Kakashi could see that Sasuke was getting stronger faster, he just hoped that the boy noticed his newfound strength also. It may be intensive, but even in the short term the boy would get insanely stronger faster. Once Sasuke spared against someone he would notice it, but for now he just had to hope that what he and Gai were doing was enough. By the time they're done the boy will be able to match Naruto, and that's probably because the boy is destined to. With how fast he was catching on to his training, he couldn't help but think that destiny did play a small part in how strong the boy was going to be. As it is he's already destined to be close to Naruto anyways due to their heritage, but did that also account for his strength also. Or was Sasuke truly just a natural prodigy with the ability to surpass everyone.

Kakashi sighed as he watched the Genin train alongside his own brother in arms. In just 7 hours the boy had almost completely mastered the first half of whatever taijutsu that Gai was teaching him, since starting this training the boy was on his third taijutsu, lord only knew how many forms of fighting was out there. Kakashi was sure that Gai knew every single one of them too. Kakashi was snapped from his thoughts though as Sakura appeared next to him. The girl sported some bruises on her arms and some cuts to her clothes. The man could tell that this was a result of training with Tsunade.

"Good evening Kakashi-sensei" Sakura said with a bow, the man noticed she was carrying a bento box, most likely for Sasuke if he had to guess.

"Yo" the man said nonchalantly. Sakura dropped at the way her sensei greeted her back, "What brings you here? Already done for the day with Hokage-sama?" the man asked as he still watched Gai and Sasuke fight.

"Hai sensei, after proving that I'm efficient at reviving the fish from the dead Tsunade-taicho decided to spend the rest of the day working on my strength training." Her voice trailed off for a moment as her face dropped, "Hokage-sama's strength is truly terrifying Kakashi-sensei."

Kakashi chuckled at that, "You should have seen her back during the third great war. When the three Sanin still worked together as a team under lord third. They were a sight to behold, no one could stop them. I once worked with them when I had gotten separated from my unit and seeing them was impressive. I saw Tsunade turn the ground into a crater because she missed an enemy with her punch. She also healed me from a stab wound to the abdomen that should have killed me. That women is truly terrifying, you're lucky that she's your teacher she is perfect for you" Kakashi said relaxing a bit.

Kakashi tensed up a little bit, he knew that the day was over, Sasuke went in for another attack against Gai and half way through his body failed on him and the boy was on the ground unconscious. "Your timing couldn't have been better Sakura-san, go help him out, I'll send Gai home and stay with you two" Kakashi said as the girl nodded.

The two headed over to where Gai and Sasuke was, Kakashi motioned for his friend to come over to him so that they were out of ear shot of the two Genin. "I'm going to stay here; I believe someone is watching us or just was. I want you to leave and inform Hokage-sama, it was only for a moment but I don't trust it. Not many people know about this training, be normal leaving though."

Gai understood, this was a delicate time, and Sasuke was the last Uchiha. "I understand" Gai turned around to Sakura. "Sakura-san! How wonderful it is to see you again, thank you for once more showing up to help out young Sasuke-san. It seems like his body still isn't quit used to this much work on its body. Please make sure he is healed up for tomorrow, if he wakes up tell him don't be late again or else he will be doing 500 laps around the area on one hand." Gai said with a smile much to Sakura's horrified face. "Anyways have a goodnight everyone" Gai said before taking off to head to the Hokage's office.

Sakura wasn't sure what to do so she kept healing Sasuke, while she couldn't heal his exhaustion she could heal the strain that was put on the boy's body and any injury he acquired throughout the day. After a couple minutes Sasuke started to come around as Sakura had both of her eyes closed and was healing the boy.

She didn't notice him stir and Sasuke looked at the girl with no emotion. It had been only 15 hours since he last thought of her from when he woke up this morning, and here she was now healing him again. He had to admit that she had gotten a lot better in a short amount of time too. He could barely feel any of the strain placed on his muscles. He look at her and noticed she was bruised and her clothes torn up. She must have been training hard, and yet here she is still helping me. He turned his head and saw a bento box and his eyes instantly went wide. He could smell the food and he subconsciously licked his lips. He remembered the first time the girl cooked for him; it was hands down the best thing he had ever eaten. His stomach gurgled, and this made Sakura stop what she was doing, she saw the boy looking at her food before his eyes met hers. They both blushed slightly for a minute before getting their composure back, Sasuke sat up.

"The foods for you, feel free to help yourself Sasuke-kun" Sakura said with a soft voice.

"T-thank you Sakura-san" Sasuke said with a slight stutter. He quickly grabbed the food, and started to eat it. He wanted to devour it like how Naruto does with his food, but he knew better, he also wanted to savor it. His eyes almost started watering when he had the first bite, it was exquisite. He had a few more bites before setting it down, "It's amazing Sakura-chan, thank you for making this for me" Sasuke said, being polite even though he was doing his best not to destroy the food.

Meanwhile Sakura had a blush that would match even Hinata, this was the first time Sasuke had ever used –chan after her name. She's not sure if the boy even realized that he did it either. "It's no problem Sasuke-kun, if I knew Kakashi-sensei was going to be here I would have brought him some too" Sakura went to apologize to her sensei before realizing he was gone, "Oh he left" she said confused. In actuality Kakashi was hiding, while masking his chakra, he wanted to see if whoever was watching them would take the bait and try to get the boy, or see what would happen.

Sasuke had meanwhile continued to eat when Sakura turned her head, Sakura turned back around to see the boy devouring his food, and he didn't last too long in trying to be polite with eating his food. He was now acting like their other teammate, Sakura couldn't help but giggle at seeing Sasuke stuff his cheeks. "You should slow down on eating or else you're going to upset your stomach" Sakura said warning the boy.

Sasuke swallowed what was in his mouth, "Sorry about that you're right that was very unlike myself I apologize" Sasuke said apologizing twice to the girl. "How was training today by the way? You look a little beat up" Sasuke asked sounding somewhat worried about the girl.

"It was good, after I proved myself proficient enough Tsunade-taicho decide that we would work on physical training before continuing on with the more advanced medical techniques. Her theory is that if you can't defend yourself then you can't heal someone" Sakura responded.

Sasuke, now eating slower nodded, "I can get that, if you're by yourself and need to heal your comrades then you also need to be able to fight in case you're attacked or else you'll just be another body. It's good she's helping you get stronger." Sasuke said before finishing the rest of the food and drinking the water that was with it. The boy stood up and stretched, earning a loud crack from his back as it popped and a relaxed sigh from the boy following it. He offered the girl a hand to help her off the ground; she quickly took it not complaining. "It's getting late and I have a weird feeling, let me take you home" Sasuke said feeling much better than he did a half hour ago. Eating and having the girl heal him really helped.

"Okay Sasuke-kun!" Sakura said trying not to seem too happy about it, really Sasuke was doing it because he wanted to be close to her again and wasn't sure how to go about doing it. Kakashi watching this deemed that he just may have to introduce to a certain book to help him grow up just a little bit. But for now he'll trail them, being head of Anbu gave him certain specialties. The only person better at stealth than him would be Jiraiya and Naruto.

The three shortly thereafter left towards Sakura's home, Sasuke being as tired as he was, was in no rush to get the girl home, so they leisurely walked through the village. Sakura was tempted to hold onto Sasuke, or grab his hand, but she didn't want to be pushed away by him. All of a sudden though a cold chill passed by, now that the sun was no longer out it was getting cold, and Sakura's body automatically responded to the drop in temperature with a shiver and the girl unconsciously holding her arms to herself to conserve heat.

Sasuke would have offered the girl a jacket if he had one but he didn't plus everything he was wearing was sweaty. Instead he wrapped an arm around the girl and pulled her close to him, he was naturally always warm. A byproduct of Uchiha blood was that it took a lot to make them feel the cold, so she instantly started to warm up when her body was closer to his. She looked at him and he looked slightly higher, a noticeable blush on his face before he spoke, "I don't need you getting a cold." He stated, when really he just missed being close with someone. Sakura didn't mind at all, this was the first physical contact they've had since the invasion outside of small things here and there.

"Thank you Sasuke-kun" Sakura said she wrapped an arm around him also an awkwardly walking sideways while being close to the boy with a soft smile on her face.

It wasn't much longer until the two had finally reached the girls home. Sasuke walked her up to the steps, Sakura took out her key and unlocked the door, she opened it before turning around to say goodbye. Her and the boy stood there awkwardly not really sure of how to say goodbye to each other. Sasuke decided to try.

"Good luck with your training tomorrow, don't get hurt too bad" Sakura smiled at that, knowing that was the best she was going to get from him.

Deciding to be extra brave she quickly kissed the boys cheek, "Good night Sasuke-kun" She said before running inside and closing/locking the door before the boy could react or say anything.

Sasuke just put a hand to his cheek unsure of what to do. He doesn't even remember being kissed; god knows how long it had been since he was kissed by a girl. It was soft, but warm was all he could think as he just stood their petrified by what had happened. Sakura had looked out the window of her room and saw the boy frozen where she last saw him with his hand on his cheek. She was too giddy to even care before closing the curtain.

It was another five minutes before Sasuke started to move again; still unsure of how to process what happened. If this had happened a couple of months ago he just may have attacked the girl for what she did, but lately he's seen her progressing and getting stronger as well as getting better at medicine. He wasn't sure what to do so he headed home. It took him about 10 minutes to get home by rooftop. Once home he went inside to lie down, where he noticed a small book on his nightstand with a note.

To my precious student,

You're growing up so I figured you could use this, take extremely good care of it or I'll kill you, see you tomorrow

-Kakashi

Sasuke couldn't help but wonder what the book was, he took off the note "Icha Icha?" he read the title out loud, he had never heard of it. He set the book back down and got ready for bed. He took a shower and put on some clothes to sleep in. once in bed he still couldn't help but be curious about the book, so he picked it up to see what it was. After the first couple pages he figured it was a romance book. He decided to finish the first chapter to at least give it a shot for his sensei, figuring there was an ulterior motive for the man giving him the book.

By the time he had finished the first chapter, Sasuke had tissue in both nostrils to stop the blood, and couldn't help but wonder why he had never heard of the book. The story was amazing, and the imagery was perfect… he had to make sure no one knew that he reads it, with that he put the book up somewhere secure.

"Report" The girl asked as she played with a kunai.

"The boy was being watched by Kakashi Hatake, so I couldn't abduct him by myself, but there may be another way. There is a girl he's close with; she even kissed him after he walked her home. We could use her as bait tomorrow night after he gets done with training Guren-sama."

"No, no. That's a waste of time; let's just get him now while he's asleep." The girl said without a care in the world. "Waiting until tomorrow night shortens the time we have to get him back to Orochimaru, he's asleep right now, yes he's in his clan district, but he's also tired, we can send two of us to go get him, that should be more than enough and will also be good for the stealth factor." Guren said before sitting up. She threw her kunai between the legs of one of her teammates, "Koden since you have a level two curse mark you will go with Suigestu with the latter in charge. You have two hours to bring him back here to me or else I will come myself" She said with a smile, that only further creeped out her teammates.

Guren tossed Suigestu one of the pills, "Don't fail me" she said with an enthusiastic smile and waving at the two men.

It took less than a second for the two to disappear, "But Guren-sama I wasn't finished! Kakashi is still watching the boy, when I left he was still there, you're sending those two to die, or at least be defeated, and we will lose our chance of getting Sasuke!" the man said with some worry in his voice.

"That may be, but don't forget Suigestu can't really die because of his water ability and Koden has the second level of his curse mark they will be fine, and if not they don't deserve to live." Guren said still not really caring, she knew if she had to step in stealth wouldn't be an option because she would want to see the blood pouring down the streets like a waterfall. That's not very stealthy in her opinion.

"Let's be quick but quiet, we don't need to draw any more attention than necessary, I'm not sure what house he's in so let's stick together to be safe until we find him." Suigestu said as his partner nodded. It might be slower that way, but it was more logical. The two quickly went house by house trying to find the Uchiha boy, to their surprise most of the insides of the house looked disgusting, and they assumed no one bothered to clean inside the houses only the outside. Which meant when they found the one that was tidy, that's most likely where there target would be. Unbeknownst to them though, a certain ex Anbu captain was waiting for them. Kakashi watched the two closely trying to determine who to take out first.

Kakashi wasted no time; he took out his sharingan and put a mask on his face. If he was going to do this he would do it right. Kakashi grabbed a tanto and quickly attacked the larger ninja before he could react. His sword piercing through the man's back and out his abdomen. He quickly kicked the body away and sliced at the younger thinner man, but his eyes went wide when the boy turned into water, showing no damage. Suigestu smirked and went to attack again, but Kakashi wasn't about to let the boy retaliate and quickly shot towards the boy again with a rakiri in hand shoving it into the man's chest. Suigestu seized as the lightning coursed through his body, being made of water made him more prone to lighting attacks. Kakashi removed his hand from the boy's chest as the boy fell to the ground smoke sizzling from the body. Kakashi sheathed his weapon as he lowered his guard, which was his first mistake, Koden quickly attack Kakashi from the rear with a well-placed punch to the man's head.

Kakashi turned around, seeing double with his normal eye, while his sharingan was perceiving everything normally. The man had the first stage of his curse mark activated and the hole that was in him was now gone, it looked as if it was cauterized somehow. Kakashi tried to get his senses back, that punch was harder than one would think. Koden wasted no time and quickly attacked again, his fist landed squarely in Kakashi's gut, the Jounin doubled over Koden wasted no time putting his hands together he brought his fist down on top of the Jounin's back, Kakashi landed on the ground. He knew he had no other choice he quickly activated his Mangekyou. He looked up at the man and used Amaterasu, setting the man's face ablaze. The man started to scream in pain, it was then that Suigestu had gotten back up; he tried to use a water jutsu to put the flames out on his comrade, but to no avail. It was like he never did anything, the water did nothing to stop the flames.

The smell of burning flesh came quickly and before long Koden fell to the ground dead as the flames burned him away, Kakashi deactivated his Mangekyou before he wasted too much chakra. He started to breath heavy, he had used more than he thought and with how strong the man was he was more tired than he should be. It was at this point Sasuke came out of nowhere stopping an attack that was aimed at his sensei.

Sasuke had his sharingan already activated when he had jumped into the fight. He had seen his sensei on the ground and figured that he needed help. Suigestu was already ready though, he may not have landed the killing blow, but he did know that Kakashi was severely weaker than he was before. Whatever attack he used that killed Koden drained the man of most of his chakra which was evident with how visible tired he was. The man could barely stand, was breathing hard and sweating. Suigestu didn't want to fight the Uchiha so he instead took a more diplomatic approach.

"Uchiha-sama, please don't attack I come only to talk with you, I didn't want to fight Kakashi the copy cat ninja, but he attacked my partner and I." Suigestu said, not technically lying.

Sasuke knew he should just attack the man and be done with it, but at the same time if he can stall, Kakashi can get back some energy incase another fight broke out. He knew that even if the boy was close to his age he was decently strong if his partner and he almost took out Kakashi by themselves. Sasuke sighed, giving his sensei a look to let him know he's stalling, "Ok speak, but if I don't like what you're saying I will kill you."

"Thank you, now this may come as a surprise but my master sent myself and my partner here to offer you a position with us" Suigestu was careful to not mention his other teammates. "Our master kept it to the two of us for stealth, but it seems like even that was not good enough because we were attacked for no good reason." Kakashi looked like he wanted to say something, but Sasuke stopped him letting the other boy continue. "It may come as a surprise, but Orochimaru is the one who sent us" Kakashi's eyes went wide at this statement, it was clear to everyone that the man was killed, but this man didn't seem to be lying either. This was big news indeed, "Orochimaru sent us to offer you a position underneath him, to train with him personally, he said if you were to accept we were to give you this," Suigestu took out the small black pill.

"What exactly is that?" Sasuke was befuddled by the little drug.

"I'm not sure exactly, according to Orochimaru-sama, this pill will help you control the curse mark on your neck their. Right now you can't control it without serious repercussions right?" Suigestu asked as Sasuke instinctively grabbed for his neck as he was reminded of what was there. "This drug lets you unlock the second stage of the curse mark which gives you even more power and strength beyond what you believe to be possible. With no backlash either, as long as you learn to correctly master it. Orochimaru is willing to teach you and more if you come with us. I mean look, my partner alone almost beat Kakashi with just the first level, had he had time to use the second level, Kakashi would be dead" Sugiestu said.

Sasuke was taken back, he knew that he had incredible power from the curse seal, but the backlash was always too much to handle. Now he is being offered to not only be given the ability to have an even greater power, but the ability to be trained by one of the Sannin. Sasuke couldn't help but want to go, there were only pros, and once he had learned all that he could from the Sannin he would leave, maybe even assassinate the man on his way out. He would be a hero if he did so.

But his mind drifted to Sakura, he knew that if he did agree he would have to leave tonight, and it would crush the girls heart if he left without at least telling her. Could she forgive him? He was torn, he had bonds here he never thought he would ever have, but for once in his life he was being guaranteed true power, with one of the strongest people currently alive. Even if he was an international criminal, no one could refute that the Sanin was strong.

Sasuke looked at Kakashi, the man wasn't as tired as before, but he was still exhausted from his battle. He would have to take the man out, but could he actually kill his sensei? If he didn't then it wouldn't matter if he agreed to leave, because Kakashi would send a search team out to get him back. Sasuke closed his eyes looking down, he was unsure of what to do. Suigestu had a smile, he had Sasuke right where he wanted, he just needed a little push, but he had to say the right thing or else all would be lost.

"Orochimaru has even promised to personally help you with your life goal" Suigestu said, he had no idea what the boys actual goal was, but this certainly got Sasuke's attention.

"H-he'll help me kill Itachi?" Sasuke asked, almost not believing it.

"He will do anything to have you join him, he will train you personally and when ready the two of you will put an end to his life" Suigestu said making false promises of things he couldn't actually make good on. But it mattered not to him as long as the boy came with them.

Sasuke had heard enough, faster than his sensei could react Sasuke turned around and shoved a Kunai in his teachers gut, forgetting his Sharingan was activated and recording the whole thing happening. The shock in his sensei's face was almost enough to break him. Kakashi coughed up blood as he fell over, a tear falling down his face, Sasuke's hands started to tremble as he let go of the weapon, Kakashi spat out more blood, "Why Sasuke.." the man fell to the ground holding his gut, trying to stay conscious, Sasuke didn't even realizing he was crying.

He had no idea how much the man truly meant to him, and now he was watching him die by his own hands. Sasuke's body started to visible shake, he was trying to calm down, but now he realized he's gone too far, he's messed up too much and there is no coming back from this. Unknown to the boy, his sharingan started to change and evolve into his Mangekyou.

"I'm sorry sensei" Sasuke's voice was broken, he barely got the words out as his tears started to fall down his face. "I'm so fucking sorry I- I shouldn't have done this. Fuck!" Sasuke screamed deactivating his sharingan, he turned to Suigetsu. "We need to leave now" The boy smiled.

"Follow me" and with that the two left, as Kakashi tried to think of what he could do to save himself. This isn't how he should die, it wasn't his time yet.

Authors note: So here's the chapter everyone. Now don't get too upset about Sasuke getting his Mangekyou because he isn't aware that he has it yet. No one saw it and he didn't even realize his eye has evolved… yet. Anyways I hope everyone enjoys! Until next time
