Author's note: this chapter is going to be all over the place and I'm sorry about that but it's to tie things up before we move onto the next arc of the story. I hope you enjoy it though, so for now, sit tight and read. After this chapter, shit get's real.

"Where the hell is he." The door slammed open and large white eyes stared forward.

"Oh Hinata, you've heard about Naruto's return, yes he's at home but um... " Tsunade wasn't sure how to say this. "Take a seat please, because you don't need to be going over there angry." Hinata closed the door and walked over to the hokage's desk before taking a seat. She had been a mess, for god knows how long after she found out that Naruto had been captured, a feat she didn't think was possible. The love of her life with the enemy, probably dead. And now he's home, back and it's being kept quiet, and what for? She needed answers and she needed them now.

"Please, give me a reason to not be angry," Hinata said, pleading with the woman she had come to see as family also.

"Naruto has been through a lot, the pressure on him, whether it was put on him or given to him by others Naruto has been under tremendous pressure. He did what all great people, even myself, have done. He snapped, he broke, he needed to be a hero, he had to do everything himself and so that's what he did. He thought he was operating at 100% capacity, but that isn't true, with the mental trauma going on, he was at best, half that. And so he slipped up, he got caught, I don't know everything that's happened between now and then, but I can promise you he's back to himself. Naruto is back, but until everyone is back"

Tsunade got interrupted when the door was once more thrown open, and she was met with one eye that was seething with rage. "Where the fuck is my student"

"Oh, Kakashi, you're was sooner than expected." Gai was crawling behind him, looking exhausted.

"Ka...Kakashi-san, your flames of you shine so bright today," Gai said, trying to stay awake, clearly exhausted from how far they had come.

Kakashi didn't even have sweat on his brow as he stared down the hokage before noticing Hinata in the room. "Ah Hinata-san, good to see you again, I'm guessing you've heard the news" Hinata nodded, choosing not to speak. "Good, good, now Tsunade. Tell me where the fuck my student is, so I can go give him a hug and beat the hell out of him" Tsunade's heart pulled a little when she heard that, she knew the two were close, but somehow she failed to realize how much of a father Kakashi seemed to put himself in. She doesn't know how she failed to realize that to him, Naruto was like his own son.

"Gai I'm going to need you to crawl out of here please, I need Hinata and Kakashi only for this next part"

"Hai Hokage-sama," Gai said in a defeated voice, and white in the face as he dragged his body out of the room looking ready to pass out.

Once the trio were alone and secure Tsunade spoke. "Naruto went through a lot, the amount of people who know this information already is too many but you two will have a bigger impact but let me start from the beginning." Tsunade made sure she was comfortable in her seat and then spoke.

"When Naruto returned from Akatsuki clutches he didn't come back alone. He came with the leader and his friend. They're two kids that myself and Jiraiya know, he trained them back during the third ninja war." Hinata and Kakashi both raised their eyes at the realization of what she just said. Tsunade raised her hand to stop them from saying anything, "Nagato and Konan are their names. Right now they're in custody under tight lock and key with Ibikki, that in of itself is amazing, we also were able to retain the Rinnegan. Nagato freely gave up the eyes, stating he didn't believe it was a power he should be able to wield. Those eyes are in my protection, separate but safe. After that happened I had Naruto return home where we found out Danzo had been running a lot of things behind the scenes with the use of Shishu Uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan. Naruo, along with myself and Hiruzen was able to get evidence of this to arrest Danzo, who is also now in custody only to be watched by Ibikki and Anko. After that was all done Naruto had called me to come by the house and this is where things got…. Insane" Both Hinata and Kakashi sweat dropped while thinking, And those two things weren't insane? "I get it, you're wondering how crazy this might be. Well to be blunt… Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki are back from the dead."

"Sensei…. He's alive?!" Kakashi felt faint thinking about how those two could be back.

"Naruto-kuns parents… they're alive!" Hinata didn't know how to feel about this news. It was insane, how was it even possible? How did Naruto feel? She completely forgot about being upset upon hearing everything that happened.

"Yes they are alive, but only temporary. It's not a revival jutsu, it's the real deal, they're actually here. We are not telling the populace either. They are not to be revealed unless absolutely necessary for the survival of everyone else. This knowledge is only being given to you because you're bound to find out on your own. So I give you this foreknowledge, Naruto's presence in this village will be given away soon anyways and once it is we need to be prepared for Akatsuki. Now if you have anything you need to tell me let me know now or go see Naruto."

Kakashi and Hinata had nothing to say, they stood in silence for a moment before Kakashi said something, "We'll be taking our leave than Hokage-sama. Thank you for everything" Kakashi gave Hinata a look and she followed along with the man. They silently made their way across the village until they were in front of Naruto's home. Standing there not saying a word until Hinata finally spoke up.

"Do you want to go in Sensei? I know this must be tough for you" Because of Naruto, Hinata knew about Kakashi's close relationship to Lord fourth.

Kakashi took a deep breath, he didn't respond or even look at the girl he just walked forward. Kakashi had no idea how he was going to face this, he didn't think he'd ever see them living and breathing again. Kakashi opened the front door and walked in, saying nothing. Walking into this house right now was like nothing had changed, the entire aurora of the house was what it used to be like. It felt so alive, he could hear Kushina laughing off in the distance and he choked up as he felt tears swelling in his eyes.

"Oi! Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto yelled out as he heard his sensei walk in.

You could hear dishes crashing as Minato and Kushina heard the name be yelled out. They looked at each other, eyes going wide. Minato jumped off the couch running down the hall as Kushina quickly followed both attacking Kakashi with a hug.

Kakashi couldn't bear it anymore as he fell to his knees, tears running down his cheeks as he held the two of them close together. Minato and Kushina smiling and tearing up as well, "God how you've grown Kakashi" Kushina said lovingly at the boy she practically helped raise. It was so nice seeing him again.

"I've tried so hard to be strong, I visited the stone every day I'm in the village, I've missed you both so much" Kakashi couldn't help it as he broke. Naruto stood in the hallway awkwardly, not knowing how to act. He knew his mom and dad mattered to him, but he never realized it was to this degree.

"You've grown into a fine man Kakashi" Minato said, funny enough Kakashi was older than him now. Minato could feel Kakashi's grip tighten, he smiled before speaking again, "Even though things are weird right now, I can tell you that we have missed you too." Minato could feel himself tearing up as he said those words. In his memories, he saw Kakashi as the 14 year old boy with too much trauma behind him in the Anbu black ops. Seeing the boy he raised as the man he is now was insane to him. Minato could tell that he's finally moved on from a lot of the trauma that has burdened him.

Kakashi took a moment to compose himself, "I still can't believe that it's you two. It feels like a genjutsu" Kakashi said with getting a chuckle out of Kushina. "How is this even possible? How are you here? I've heard a little but I need you to tell me."

"We perfected our stasis seal with the blood clone jutsu," Minato said with a smirk. Kakashi's single eye went wide. He knew of the seal, but from what he knew they had never finished it.

"That's amazing! I can't believe it" Kakashi said.

"Well my dad's the best ya know!" Naruto said with a smirk, but that's when Naruto realized he shouldn't have talked.

"YOU!"

"Uh oh"

"What in the fuck where you thinking getting kidnapped by the goddamn Akatsuki! Where in the hell do you get off, thinking you are greater than god and almost dying!" Kakashi yelled, beyond pissed, Minato and Kushina now holding the man back from attacking their child.

Naruto rubbing the back of his head.

All of a sudden everyone went limp as they felt a deadly aurora. "So. Naruto-kun" everyone's heads snapped back to Hinata, Chakra seeping off her body, her byakugan activated. The lines behind her eyes making her seem more deadly. "Where have you been, Naruto-kun? '' Her voice was so sweet, maced with poison, Naruto felt himself sweating. Kakashi, Minato and Kushina all moved out of the way in case she charged the boy.

"Uh… well you see, me and Killer Bee decided to go after the Akatsuki because they had captured Yugiuto and we wanted to save her. Because now it's just me and Bee, there are no other Jinchuuriki. We tried to save her and then more guys showed up and I don't know what happened, we got overwhelmed and just.." Naruto got cut off when he saw Hinata run towards him. He freaked and put his arms up until he felt tears in his chest as Hinata wrapped her arms around the boy.

Kakashi, Minato and Kushina all breathed a sigh of relief, they weren't sure if they were about to clean up a murder scene or not. Hinata meanwhile couldn't stop the tears, she wanted to be angry but she couldn't be, "I was so scared you dumbass!" Hinata screamed, Naruto felt his heart pull as she yelled at him. He wasn't used to her being upset at him like this. "I was so scared when Bee said you got kidnapped. No one knew if you were alive or dead. I've been searching everywhere looking for you, and hear you are at home goofing off like nothing happened" Naruto wrapped his arms around the girl as she cried.

"I'm sorry Hina-chan, I truly am. Things got bad and I got caught in a Genjutsu, I don't even know how, even Kuruama is surprised we didn't think that would be possible. But after getting caught I was wrapped in every chakra seal possible. The only reason I was saved was because I was able to convince the leader of the Akatsuki to set me free and come with me. He even gave up his rinnegan as a show of faith to Tsunade" Naruto stated.

This caught Kakashi's attention. "So Nagato is here in the village?" He said.

Naruto nodded, "Konan too, they're with Ibiki giving up all of their information. Once they're finished they'll be released under my protection and will be here." Kakashi nodded, Hinata still hadn't let go of Naruto, she was scared that she'd lose him if she let go.

Naruto looked back down to his girlfriend, "Hina-chan, I truly am sorry. I never meant to worry you, I know me leaving worried you, but when I got kidnapped I can't believe how hard that must've been for you. I promise though, now that I'm back I won't be as reckless I'll.." NAruto was cut off as Hinata started laughing.

"You? Be less reckless? We have a better chance of monkey's flying than you being less reckless" Hinata started laughing so hard she fell on her butt as tears started forming in her eyes. Naruto and Kakashi both started laughing as well.

"Hey it's the thought that counts!" Naruto said between chuckles as he calmed down, as did everyone else.

"Now that the tears, and laughs are out of the way, what's the plan?" Kakashi asked, getting more serious.

Naruto waved to everyone, "Let's go sit down on the couch and talk, I don't really feel like standing around the hallway." It didn't take but a moment for everyone to find a spot in the livingroom and get comfy.

"So what's Kakashi talking about? What do you mean by plan exactly?" Minato asked.

Naruto sighed, "The only one in this room unaware of my true past is Hinata" Hinata looked confused as he said this.

"Nani? What do you mean Naruto-kun? I grew up with you, what are you talking about 'True Past'?" Hinata said.

"I want to explain this to you but I can't, not everyone knows, even Tsunade-sama doesn't know" Naruto started. Hinata frowned at this, not wanting secrets. "I'm sorry Hinata-chan, I want to tell you but I can't. It won't make sense now but I will be able to tell you soon. But for now I need to go over the plan." Naruto said before looking at his parents, "Do you two plan to join us in battle?" Naruto asked.

Minato looked over to Kushina both nodding before he responded "Not initially, but if the time comes where we're needed we will join you. But as soon as our chakra expires, that's it, we won't come back" Minato said.

Naruto nodded, "Ok that's fine then, we'll save you for the final battle if we can. For now Kakashi, we need to focus on finding Obito, knowing him though he's getting his army ready to declare war. He has 7/9 of the bijuu, like last time that will be more than enough, I know a 5 kage summit is coming up. I need to be there and so do you, your sharingan is the only one that can off put his." Naruto said.

Hinata grabbed Naruto's shirt, "Please… don't leave me again"

Naruto's face fell at this as he felt his heart break hearing her voice. Naruto clenched his fist, "I'm sorry Hinata-chan, but I have to do this, me and Kakashi are the only ones who can battle this person. And until we figure out what to do with the rinnegan, we need to do everything we can to stop this war from starting" Naruto said.

"Wait rinnegan? What about Sasuke?" Kakashi asked.

Naruto lagged in real life as he heard that before his brain reset, "How the fuck… Ok I'll talk with him and Tsunade later and we'll give him one" Kakashi chuckled as he realized Naruto didn't think of that.

"Well that settles that, Minato-san, Kushina-san you two do what you need to be ready for battle. Me and Naruto are going to talk with Tsuande and go be on her detail to the 5 kage summit. If we're lucky we can stop things before they start." Kakashi said before turning to Hinata, "And to you Hinata. Go be with your family, go relax, and train. Because depending on the next week, we may be at war. So go see your sister and Neji, and relax and train." Kakashi said, Hinata nodded towards her sensei, letting the man know she understands. "Ok Naruto lets go" Kakashi said as he stood up, Naruto gave his mom and dad a hug before giving his girlfriend a kiss.

"I love you all," Naruto said, as he and Kakashi left.

"Alright Jiraiya you ready to go?" Tsunade asked as she put on her Hokage robes and hat. She hated the formality, but she'd be damned if she didn't look good in this outfit.

"Yup, was just waiting on you my hime" Jiraiya said as he hopped off her desk fixing himself.

Normally she's supposed to have two escorts, but she figured just having Jiraiya around would be good enough. She left Shikaku in charge, she knew that was the best bet, she wanted to bring Minato as well, but that's staying a secret. She wanted to bring the rinnegan with her as well but that wasn't a worthwhile gamble.

The two walked outside the front door, Tsunade personally handed off a note to Shikaku explaining the rinnegan and where it was. She wanted him to personally make sure it stayed safe. "Hokage-sama," Shikaku said, understanding the secrecy when she handed him the note carefully.

"Take care of this for me, trust no one without my say so" Tsunade said, the man nodded before turning around to head into the hokage mansion, Tsunade grabbed Jiraiya by the arm and with a smile and a wink had the man following behind her like a lost puppy. She didn't need to do all that but it's fun to mess with the man, he made her happy so why not have a little fun with him.

The two made it halfway through the village before an orange blob almost knocked her over.

"Tsunade wait! Don't leave yet" The woman narrowed her eyes at the boy, she was already cutting this trip really close as it was, she should have left yesterday… but Jiraiya had to distract her.

"What is it brat?" She said, needing things to hurry so she could go.

"Two things, first, you should give Sasuke that eye," Naruto said, "Secondly take both of us instead of Jiraiya and he can stay here to guard the village as well as catch up with his old students" Naruto said.

"We plan to go in place of Jiraiya-sama," Kakashi stated professionally, catching Tsunade by surprise.

"Why should I do all of this?" Tsunade asked, she could already feel the headache coming on.

"The eye will be a perfect match for Sasuke, just put it in his left eye, I promise it'll match perfectly with him. I don't have time to get into it now, but even Jiraiya can back me up on this" Naruto said, Tsunade immediately looked at the man and he nodded in agreement.

"Fuck it, there's to little time, Jiraiya, go tell Shikaku what to do and have Shizune do it. Naruto, Kakashi, let's go, you're with me and we don't have any more time to waste."

The trio had been traveling for a while with no break, Naruto finally decided to speak up to break the silence.

"So Tsunade, I never asked but who called the Summit? I thought you said you didn't have enough of a reason to call for one?"

"The Raikage did after he found out the two tails had passed, along with his retrieval team. The meeting is to be about the Akatsuki, and it's in the Land of Iron which is why we're travelling so fast. But after you and the 8 tails failed and you got kidnapped, he sent out a letter to all five villages stating that there was to be a meeting" Tsunade said.

Naruto sighed, he didn't like how much this was following the past, at least Sasuke wasn't going to show up at the summit trying to kill everyone this time. Kakashi intervened though, "Let's just hope we can keep the peace, the Raikage is not known for his temper being the best, along with the Tsuchikage having plenty of hate for our village. Including that Naruto's heritage is out, we're going to have to tread lightly"

Tsunaded nodded agreeing with the man, she sighed wishing Jiraiya was here because knowing him she knew he would've put in a break for them to fuck out the stress and that's something she would desperately need tonight. She could feel the migraine coming on, and knew that no amount of healing would fix anything due to the reason for the headache. "Just know that I'm doing all the talking, I don't need you guys causing international problems because you pissed everyone off. You will talk if I allow it, got it brats?" Tsunade said, not really giving the kids an option. They both nodded without saying a word, Tsunade smirked, "Good, I'm glad we're on the same page." With that not a word more was said as the group took off at full speed not stopping until they were almost at the land of Iron to set up for a couple hours of rest.

"Mifune-sama, the Raikage and his entourage are here, the only group missing is from Konoha" Okisuke told the man. "I've led them to the lodgings we put aside for the group, as long as the hokage and her attendants show up by morning we will be on time for the summit."

"Thank you Okisuke, make sure to tell Urakaku and his subordinates to watch over the Raikage and Tsuchikage and report to myself if something comes up." The man nodded and silently disappeared, Mifune looked out his window at the frozen grounds outside. The storm was particularly harsh tonight, but nothing that a kage couldn't handle. Mifune picked up a pipe taking a long drag, he didn't smoke often, but it did help relax him. There hadn't been a five kage summit in a long time, he understood why they came here. His predecessor set up the agreement with the first five kage that this ground would be a safe place to use, but every time there was a summit tensions were always high and he had to make sure every samurai was on the highest of alerts in case someone decided to try something. It hasn't happened since the second five kage summit almost 40 years previous, but it wasn't something he would risk. This was a place of peace for people to talk like adults. Tensions would already be high with the shinobi as they have their own personal problems, but he hoped they could put aside their personal agenda to talk. He didn't want to step in if he didn't have to, the shinobi were strong but the kage had long since acknowledged how strong Mifune was after the last war when he survived Hanzo as well as everything else he had accomplished in his lifetime. Also given the fact they were outnumbered 10,000 to 1, it wouldn't be smart.

Mifune shifted his eyes to the wolf mountains of his country as he continued to think in silence. He had a bad feeling and he didn't know why, he just knew something different was going to happen. For the last 15 years, anytime he got a feeling of deja vu, or thought something bad was going to happen, it did. He has no idea what changed 15 years ago, but he knew he had to be on the highest of alerts, because the last time he got the feeling he had lost his wife, and he didn't plan on losing anyone else if he could help it. He took one more drag from his pipe before setting it down and leaving the room to go properly meet the Raikage and his entourage. He needed to make sure everyone and everything was still doing good and that things were running smoothly.

"Good evening Raikage-sama, I'm Mifune, the leader of the Samurai, we are honored to have you here."

The Raikgae bowed at the man, his bodyguards looking shocked before quickly doing the same. Mifune was surprised by this, he did not realize how much the man respected him, "It is I, Mifune-sama, who is honored to be here. Thank you for allowing this summit amidst your busy schedule. I will make sure we are all on our best behavior while we are here and if you need anything of us please ask, while we may be your guest, my respect for you is unmatched, and I am deeply humbled and thankful for you having us here" A said. Darui and C couldn't believe this was their kage. He was so…. Zen. It was off putting, but given what has happened recently, they guess it made sense. Plus the Raikage talked very highly of Mifune on the way here as well as the rest of the Samurai. Darui and C knew better than to do anything other than what they were told.

"Thank you, but do not worry, now if you will follow me to your quarters we will talk some before you have the night to yourself" Mifune said. The Raikage nodded and he and his group followed the man.
