I hate how you can tell if people have no siblings but write sibling relationships... yes big bro, yes little bro... ugh... like I called my sister sis and sissy but rarely. If your from a culture that does this, that's different, but English speaking cultures do not do this so it becomes really obvious and annoying.

P.S. We are at ten thousand plus views.

P.P.S. The last chapter was very popular, the most Reviews and views in a while all at once. It meant a lot.

Will almost sobbed when Aaron awoke, his beautiful brown eyes slowly opening with a strong waft of magic filling the air. He felt his friend's presence once again, weak and thready like his heart beat had been, but present and lingering which is what mattered.

"Your back." He choked up, looking down at Aaron, resisting the urge to hug his friend into nothingness. "I thought you were... you were going to..." No amount of Healers training could stop his tears as he broke down, shaking and sobbing uncontrollably. He was only eleven after all..

Aaron's soft sigh made Will break from his tears and look back up at his friend, wiping away his tears. "I would apologize, but I was overwhelmed by Hellhounds specifically sent against me."

Will froze. "What?"

"I spoke to Triton, he pulled my soul to preserve it from the Hellhounds. He told me they weren't after his son, Bryce, so that means I was there target. I wonder who sent them... I can rule out a few gods. Hades and Persephone obviously, they were just given a new shrine and I think Hades is my friend or at least my ally. I know it wasn't Hecate, not her style. Aphrodite doesn't like me for saving Meggy, but it's not her style either... Hermes might do it, I did kill a son of his but I have a feeling it's not him. Maybe it was Luke or Alabaster, Luke summoned a Hellhound before to attack Percy. Wouldn't be shocked either way really, I am impeding their war effort by recruiting more demigods to camp and I did kill one of his toadies."

"How are you so calm?" Will didn't yell but something about the tone of his voice made Aaron flinch.

"I knew what I signed up for, the gods are infamous for being ruthless and cruel. I half expected this to be frank." Aaron looked up, eyes browsing the ceiling. "So, what is the damage now? I know you've healed me a lot, I can feel your aura is so much weaker then normal, so it must have been something terrible."

"It was... I'll show you your chart in a minute but as of the moment your left leg is still broken and your ribs are still healing from being fractured. There was a lot more damage, I guess dad was feeling generous, I have never healed anyone so much before." Will moved to the end of Aaron's bed, pulling the chart which he handed to Aaron, who went white as he read it. "Your shoulder is going to be scarred for life, as is your face and the back of your head. I had to staple the gash there, and stich your skull closed to prevent a brain bleed. You've lost about twenty pounds from the strain alone."

Aaron looked up. " How long have I been out?"

"Three weeks... Hermes' Cabin has already been restored and bunkbeds have been placed in there, the kids are very happy to have more room and a lot of them have come in to check on you. Bryce was claimed right when he came in, he visits almost daily. He'll be glad your awake."

"I am glad to be awake... I guess since I can't practice with my weaponry, it is finally time to start on the scariest part of magic... divination."

Will chuckled. " That is the scariest part to you?"

"Having that knowledge but never being allowed to act on it without fear of being blinded or worse by the gods... very, very scary. Thankfully there is a lot more to divination then just seeing the future. I am hoping I can figure out what happened to prevent the Oracle from passing on her spirit. But one thing at a time as that is very, very advanced magic." He frowned. " Where's Meggy, I am shocked that she isn't here."

"Oh, she went to the First Demigods you saved, the ones who haven't been taken here yet. She told me to tell you that she was given orders to train them in your absence."

"Great... that's actually really, really good. Those two really, really need help."

Will didn't ask who they were or their parent was, he knew Aaron would never tell. He was good at keeping secrets and he respected the need for silence. There was a reason he was chosen to take care of demigods as he was, discretion was often the name of the game.

"Like this?" Bianca asked as she moved through the movements as Meggy showed them. She felt awkward with the sword in her hand, never having even imagined she would start practicing with a blade or any weapon. Still this was her second lesson with Meggy and she had been practicing in secret with Nico to get good, she was sure she had improved if only marginally.

The one eyed beauty turned to her, from where she had been looking carefully at Nico and smiled. "Your a natural! Seriously, very, very good. No improvement needed, at all."

Bianca blushed a little before a feeling of euphoria overtook her, and from their expressions, both Meggy and Nico who stumbled with tears in his eyes. Without thinking about it, Bianca said what she somehow knew. "Aaron's awake!" She wanted to cry, the boy who had saved her being alright meant so much... but how did she know that?

"Meggy can sense it too, she and Will put an alarm spell on him so she would know. You know because you care of him and who your divine parent is. You will know soon, Meggy was told you will be told next winter. They just want you extra safe, you deserve it. Meggy wants her cute friends extra safe. Nico and Bianca are already okay swordspeople! I can tell you are training like I told you, I can't wait to see you kicking butt on your own! It will be so beautiful, Meggy is so proud."

Nico giggled. "I like how Meggy talks, it's funny."

Meggy growled at him playfully. "Meggy will squish you later but for now, let's start on some more defensive maneuvers. Your both a natural at offense but your defense could use some work. Trust me, that is the key to survival, so many demigods are just pure offense. I think it is why so many of you perish before your adults."

That made Bianca shiver, her heart filled with dread at the notion of her beloved brother dying so young. She didn't care if she died, that was fine, but Nico needed to live! Live a long, happy life! That was half of the reason she was training damn it.

Turning to Meggy, she put her celestial bronze sword down. " Meggy, you and Aaron are witches, right? Can you teach us that skill?"

Meggy blinked, then sighed. "Meggy is not sure if it will make your demigod aura overwhelm the protections on you... but yes. I will ask your parent. Meggy can feel emotions, she knows why you want to learn." She kneeled down and kissed Nico's cheek, making the boy giggle. "You too you little brat. Meggy is stronger due to divine blood but Aaron is far more skilled due to sheer determination. He would be the better teacher. I will see if he can astral educate you while he is down. Does that sound fair?"

"Yes, it does. I miss him."

"Join the club... now, defensive maneuvers. They are extremely important with or without a shield but you won't always have one so you need to learn to be strong without one. Aaron specializes in defense due to mortal body, so Meggy is very familiar with this. Don't worry, your going to get a great education. Nico. your a small boy I need you to pay extra attention. If I was a bad monster I would go after you first thinking you were weak. You are at an extra risk."

Nico nodded, for once a serious look on his face. "Would you really?"

"Yes, if I was bad. I am not, I love my Nico bear." She poked his belly, getting him to giggle, making Bianca sigh in happiness to see her brother getting extra love from more then just her. "But if I was bad you would be a target. I want you both extra safe, so please take this as seriously as possible. You have inherited extra enemies because of your parent, who is a rare deity I really respect but others do not. That means you are at risk, more then normal."

"Alright, let's do this! Show me how to kick butt!"

Giggling, Bianca fell into her own stance. "You remember the drill Nico, watch her correct me then follow the steps."

"Okay, Sis!"

"You sure your okay?"

Bryce's voice, thick and masculine, was almost trembling with some fear as he asked Aaron that simple sentence. It was honestly adorable, but Aaron refrained from commenting on it. Instead he smiled, nodded and gestured to the side of his bed. Bryce delicately sat down next to him, and Aaron put a sore arm around him.

"I will be fine, I have master healers. I just have to slow down for about a month and redirect my energies. I can use my magics to heal myself at a faster pace, connect with the spirits to help with that as well. I got this. Honestly, I was worried about you to be honest. I am happy that I was strong enough to throw you, my powers have really increased a lot to have managed that. Your a big boy."

Bryce rolled his eyes. "That hurt you know, I tumbled straight down that hill for what felt like forever. I got a few scrapes from it, you bully." He leaned into Aaron's side to take the sting from his words. "Will told me that my dad wants you to build shrines for the Minor gods... can I help? It feels like the least I could do."

"Of course you can, I could use your blood to connect the shrine to your father's realm. Percy's too. Speaking of, have you met Percy?"

"Yeah, he taught me swordfighting and how to control my powers, the little he knows since I think he's kind of lazy. We spar a lot together when he's here, I am one of the only people in Camp who can stand up to him. I get that boost from water like he does but it's not as extreme. He was so shocked by it I actually beat him during our third fight. I have more stamina and strength without the water then he does, maybe cause my dad is a war god. Oh and I am a good archer, which made him pout. I thought you would enjoy that, Will said you were a fair shot with a bow."

Aaron laughed. " I am and I am glad that he is stepping up, your family. He is lazy though, your right. It's frustrating really, if I hadn't scolded him with his mom he wouldn't even be visiting to train like he has been. It's nice to see he's growing up. His potential is outrageous but he neglects it out of a need to be normal... sigh..." Aaron sat up a little, ignoring the pain in his leg and chest. "So, you happy here?"

"Yeah, I miss my Dad but Meggy showed me how to IM so talk to him once or twice a week at the least. He knew my other dad was Triton, he is clearsighted you see, but he wasn't aware that Monsters would get me so he was as shocked as I was. He Im'd Triton and scolded him something fierce, Triton actually apologized to me by sending me a Trident. Can I show you?"

"Sure!"

Bryce got up and moved away, twisting his hand to show a trident tattoo on his left hand. The tattoo glowed and before Aaron could fully register it, a three foot black trident was in Bryce's hand, radiating subtle power. "Meggy and Beckendorf checked it out, they said it was made of Adamantine which is sometimes found in the deep sea. It is enchanted to come back to my Tattoo if I lose it and it can calm the waves. It is not as powerful as Riptide, but my Mariana is not to be trifled with!"

Aaron shivered, sensing the blessing of Triton on the powerful weapon. It was indeed not a weapon to be trifled with, underestimated in anyway. He could feel the layers of enchantments, they radiated from the weapon on a vast scale. It was clear that Triton loved his son dearly.

"You have a lot of potential you know? Your dad is a powerful god, he may not be a main Olympian but he is a war god, a Messenger god and a literal incarnation of the Sea. You won't have the most raw power but you will have a lot of potential. Your sisters, the Nymphs of Tritonis were so powerful and skilled they taught Athena what she knew of war and combat. You share that potential, never forget that."

Bryce smiled deeply. " Thanks, some people have been mocking me for being the child of a so called Minor god... it's hard to deal with but I trust your judgement more. I've seen what you can do, your arrows are scary and your magic is strong. You know what is true power and what is not. I know you wouldn't lie to me about that."

"No, I wouldn't. Ever really. Now... I think I should get started on the shrine designs before Charlie gets here... want to help?"

"Sure, I have some ideas."
