A little bit of filler but important filler
With as much delicacy as she could manage, Meggy wrapped her arms around Aaron. She wanted to cry, to sob into his shoulder and squeeze as tightly as she could, but she knew that if she did she might actually hurt her beloved brother. "I am glad you are okay. We sensed it, me and our first kids, we sensed that you were okay."
Aaron hugged her back, kissing her temple softly. "I am glad to be alive too, and I am even more glad that you were training them. They need it."
"They really do. They have a lot of talent, both of them, it's a little scary actually. They are picking up swordplay at a remarkable rate, she asked if we could teach them magic. I wanted to ask you before we did that."
Aaron frowned for a moment. "I can't travel right now and I think practicing magic would overwhelm the seals masking their presence. Maybe I can astral project to them, in my sleep with some protections of course... that would help fulfill my part of the deal."
"That would be good... Meggy hears you are working on new projects already. What is it?"
"Triton asked me to make shrines to the Minor gods, Mr. D gave me permission so long as they are framed as for the Major gods primarily. It is a good compromise really, and it should satisfy everyone. The added divine power should help protect the camp more, or at least that is my theory. We still don't know if Lady Persephone strengthening the barrier was intentional or a biproduct of the shrine. We can only hope the barrier gets stronger and stronger, that would be a great gift we can give to those working on the Shrines... sigh."
"Meggy agrees."
"I am glad you do... Meggy, I have something for you to do, something that could be utterly vital." She frowned, nodding and kneeling closer to listen in to Aaron's words. "Percy had a friend that may be a Cyclops or something of the sort. We don't know if they are feral or a spy, we need you to check them out. Percy is going home today, so I want you to go with him and evaluate. Kill this Tyson if you see him as a threat, if not... well help him. Cyclopes are getting a bad rep and frankly if we can save another from the fate you both nearly went down, then we will."
Meggy felt a warm rush in her chest. This was the reason she respected Aaron, he didn't just by birth. He gave everyone a chance to be amazing. "I will do what I need to... and you do realize your kind of a priest now? Right? I mean your making new shrines, serving all of the gods and helping their children." a
Aaron blinked. " I never saw it like that, but kind of yea... I mean it started as a way to stay in this realm and to a degree it still is about that, but honestly I like helping Hades and those that deserve it like the demigods. No one should be alone like this and if I can help, well it feels really good."
"And that is what separates heroes from normal people, at least that's how I see it. Wanna go to the garden? You haven't been there in a while and it is looking lovely."
"That sounds wonderful."
"""
"I wondered if you would come to my garden." Dionysius smiled at Aaron and Meggy as they wheeled into the garden, smiling roughly at both of them in his attempt to be more kind to everyone. He was currently standing by his statue and the pond it was situated in, admiring the goldfish swirling around happily in the pool. The whole area was filled with his presence and the presence of the Spirits of Asphodel, making it a comforting place for him to relax and feel fully there. Even without wine or grapes, the substances that anchored him best, the garden and the prayers of the children who had been kindly making offerings acted as a wonderful anchor for him. It made him feel far less grumpy. "It has been some time."
Aaron laughed. "Yes, it has. I mean I have been out cold, so there has been little reason for me to come here but I am here now. It is looking great, everyone has done so much." He smiled leaning over to sniff the lilacs growing by Dionysius' power, flowers that would otherwise have wilted in the winter air. "Your blessing has really kept this place open and welcoming. It feels like twenty degrees warmer and that is without the power of the Spirits of Asphodel I can feel lingering here." He turned to the altar right in front of the the Pond. "I see people have been making offerings, that's good. I wonder to who?"
"Some to me, some to the Spirits. I wouldn't have guessed but they are treating it like a graveyard, offering prayers to their grandparents, cousins, and so on... I don't know if the spirits are responding, not my department but you can feel the presence of the dead here, so I imagine some are. The Stolls are here a lot."
"May they find the peace they are looking for." Aaron suddenly seemed guilty, and Dionysius understood why.
He walked over and put a hand on the boy's shoulder. "I know you took the life of one of Hermes' children but it was self defense. You did not seek him out to kill him. He chose his fate."
"I know that logically, but that's about it... it still burns in my chest... sigh... but that is for another time. I came here to make an offering of my own and to channel some power back into the earth. Help the garden grow some more."
"You do that, It is about time for my afternoon nap. I will see you later, child. Both of you. Yawnnn."
""
"Meggy thinks he likes you, like more then a friend."
Aaron choked for a second, considering her words. " Maybe. Nothing will ever happen though, I am far too young. I refuse to get involved in Pedeastry. It is straight up pedophilia... now that, that is done, let's move on to channeling some power back into his garden."
Meggy just laughed at him.

Walking along side Percy, Meggy walked into Percy's apartment. She saw Sally sitting down, next to a very cuddly Tyson, eating a small handful of chips. Her vision focused in automatically, right onto the single eye on the boy's face. However what happened next shocked her. "I sense no malice, like at all."
Tyson, who had been watching Tv, looked up and blinked at her. "Your... your like me?"
She smiled softly and approached the boy. " Yeah, I am. Percy has trouble seeing through the Mist and he wanted me to see if you were a Cyclops too. It's okay that you are, no one is judging you for it. My name is Meggy, it is nice to meet you Tyson." She held out her hand, getting Tyson to shake her hand, almost gasping at the raw power she felt emanating from Tyson from just that touch. He was by no means a weak being... no wonder No one came after Percy.
"Nice to meet you Meggy... This is Miss Sally, she is letting Tyson visit, she is very nice." He gestured to Sally, who smiled kindly at Meggy.
"Hey Sally, been a while."
"It has been. " She turned to Tyson. " I know Meggy, her brother is Percy's Stepbrother. My bad exhusband had a son, I told you about him. Remember, his name is Aaron?"
Tyson's eye widened. "Oh, yeah, I remember. You said he lived somewhere else but visits."
"Yes, he lives at Camp Halfblood, a place for Halfbloods like Percy.. and recently, Cyclops like us. You can come over on the weekends like Percy so you can get stronger, learn to make things better and not live in that cardboard box. Meggy used to live in a dumpster, she knows what it is like to suffer like that. We don't deserve it, it is not our faults our mothers cannot handle that we are born as Cyclopes. There is nothing wrong with looking like we do, with being what we are. We committed no crimes and no one has the right to punish us for being what we are."
Tyson sniffled and nodded. " I think Daddy thinks so too, he helped me find Meriweather prep and Percy."
She frowned for a moment, then took a good look at Tyson. "Tyson, who is your Daddy?" The shape of his face, his long fingers, the shape of his nose... it was too similar to one persons...
"Poseidon."
Percy choked, turning to Tyson. "Are you serious?"
Tyson nodded. "Yup, Daddy is The Sea God."
"That means,.. you are my... my brother?"
Tyson' lit up. " What, your Daddy is the Sea god too!" The moment Percy nodded, Tyson tackled him, squeezing tightly and cheering loudly. Everyone else in the room laughed, happy to see the gentle soul that was Tyson get some good news.
Meggy was personally just happy that her fellow Cyclops now had a safe entrance way into Camp Halfblood... she just needed an oath from him.

"This is looking lovely. sorry to throw another project on you so soon." Aaron smiled at Charlie, as they both looked over the blueprints for the fountain shrine design he had made. It was basic really, primitive but it would work well enough for Charlie to expand into something great. He always managed to make something amazing from the most simple of designs.
"Not a problem, I am just happy your feeling better. This might as well be a celebration. It's nice to have something to work for, to look forward too. I like showing off what I can do, to see the maximum potential I have and actually have it matter. So no I don't mind."
Sharing a smile, Aaron turned his attention back to the Fountain design. "I want have the Nereids, their father and mother and their brothers carved into this. I would have all of the Naiads here but there simply too many, so we need a general design for them. Anything to prevent angry gods and whatnot knocking on our doors."
Charlie whistled. "That is over fifty designs, that is going to be a big fountain... I think we should move it to in between the Volley ball court and the Basketball court. More room and more we can get people to throw change into it, for luck and what not. Should help a lot and make it more used and appreciated."
"Then that is what we should do. Maybe we should add some benches around it, it would be a nice place to sit I think, especially during the summer."
"Naturally, we aren't barbarians."
