Yay! This is my longest fic yet, and my newest one. Here's my take on how they all met.
Malicia's was getting some exchange students. They had sent 4 of their best students to around the world, hoping to get some of the same… quality of the kids they sent. Unfortunately enough, they were disappointed. They were given 4 students in return, just as the deal had said. They were expecting 4 good students in return. Instead, they were given 4 rather unusual ones.
They had, first, a rather sporty Brazilian kid, who would chatter endlessly. Second, a fashion junkie from Japan, who seemed to change her hair colour as much as she did clothing. Third, a Texas hick with a passion for lassos, and was built like a wall. Fourth, a rather cynical and sarcastic American boy, who would spend his time at school doodling robot designs in his note-books.
The four in question stood in the front of the room, looking about nervously. The teacher smiled, stepping forward.
"Please introduce yourselves." She smiled. All was silent for a moment, then the Texas boy spoke up.
"Hi, y'all. I'm Clay. I'm here from Texas." Thus said, he retreated to the back of the room. The fashion girl looked around.
"I'm Kimiko, from Tokyo." She said, smiling. The American boy grimaced.
"Jack. Jack Spicer. From America." He stated. The Brazilian boy grinned, striding to the front of the room.
"I'm Raimundo! I'm from Brazil." He did a little wave to the class. The room was quiet. The teacher nodded.
"You will sit over there," She said, pointing to an almost-empty table at the back of the room. Only one kid was there, a yellow youth. Clay nodded, speaking for everyone.
"I guess we should sit, huh." Without another word, the little group sat at the table. The yellow kid looked up.
"Hello, new friends! I am Omi!" He talked excitedly. Jack leaned forward.
"Yeah, and I'm your worst nightmare. Now shut up." Jack grinned. Omi looked at him cautiously.
"Are you sure you aren't just pushing my arm?" Omi blinked. Jack took a moment to decipher that.
"Yes."
"Don't fight, partner." That was Clay, looking at them all. Raimundo shrugged.
"Yeah. Also, did you know that the flying tree squirrel actually glides?"
"Oh, not this again. Don't you think I suffered enough on the plane?'' Asked Kimiko.
"No." Jack grinned.
"Ok, class, quiet down." Stated the teacher, handing papers to rows of students. They all got a paper. Raimundo scanned it over.
"This is in Chinese, teach." He said, waving the paper in the air. Omi smiled.
"I will help you!" He looked at the paper. "I can read Chinese."
"Oh great." Grumbled Jack. "Cheeseball's gonna help us."
"Jack…" Warned Clay.
Omi, unaware he was just insulted, smiled.
"Yes I am, Jack Spicer." He looked at the paper. "The first one says… erm… 4x7. I think." He scratched the back of his neck. Raimundo looked at the paper.
"You can't read Chinese?" He asked.
Jack sighed. The idiots. He thought, pulling back the sleeve of his coat to reveal his watch. He begin to press buttons on it, occasionally answering a question. Kimiko was having no trouble at all, and was helping Clay. Jack cleared his throaght.
"Erm… I'm probably gonna regret this… but does anyone need help?" He asked. Raimundo smiled. "Me and Omi!" He stated.
