Should I rewrite Cassidy Jenkins to be better with my new skills? I have some better ideas, presentation and plot and all that...
All Thoughts welcome.
"Oh good. " Aaron let out a sigh of relief as Silena began giving up information on Luke and his crusade to destroy the gods. He wanted to cry, it hadn't hit him before that Silena was the spy, the traitor. He was still stunned by Kronos' presence and his new bond to Thalia to really register it, but now... now it hurt. He wanted to hurt her, to hit and scream and cuddle her to his chest and hide her from the cold cruel world that put her in her crappy situation where trechery was the best option. The truth was, he loved Her. She was his sister in all but blood, her and Charlie, Bryce and Meggy and Percy... they were his family and losing them to anything would be purest agony.
Charlie, sweet Charlie, grabbed his hand and squeezed, smiling softly. "She will at least live..."
"She will do better then live, I anticipated this." Aaron leaned towards the screen. " Lord Zeus, I have a better idea if you don't mind."
The gods, listening in to Silena as she finished her statements on Luke's forces, turned to him. Lady Hera, who for some reason smiled winningly at him, waved her hand and his world swirled into darkness, and before he could blink he was on Olympus before the gods. His skin and soul aching at the presence of so much raw power. He swayed for a moment, holding his head agony.
He felt Silena grab him close and hold him to her chest. "Shhh, focus on me, it will help."
He nodded and did as she said. and slowly he was able to focus again. Looking up he saw her beautiful face. "Your lucky, your a scarily powerful Demigoddess. If you were any stronger it would make it worse." He kissed her forehead, a signal of his forgivness, then turned to the gods. " Thank you, Lady Hera."
Lady Hera was dressed beautifully, in radiant white robes and her brown hair falling in curls around her face. "Oh for one who loves his made family so deeply, the honor is all mine little love. Now, please, tell us this better idea of yours."
Clearing his throat, Aaron turned to his friend and started to gather the Mist. It wasn't hard, there was so much mystical power that Mist came almost instantly and gathered in a surge beyond what his natural powers could allow. Above him he focused on a memory, that of Silena training her siblings.
"Silena was a traitor but her revealing the truth shows many things... one we know for absolute certain that your Father is rising and is fighting against us. We can prepare agaisnt him... and yet Silena has already done this. As you can see from this memory, she had been training her siblings hard. With Clarisse, Ares' daughter. Clarisse may be a bully but she is an extremely capable demigod, determined, focused and incredibly skilled. Silena provides her siblings with the focus and control that only one of their own can. This makes your armies against your father that must stronger. There are a dozen children of Aphrodite, at least at Camp. They make up a large portion of the Demigods, if we can train them to a higher level then we increase our entire Camps power.
More then just within her cabin though, she is a powerful warrior who increased her own skills drastically. She is now one of the top ten warriors in the camp, before she was one of the worst. She is an incredible equestrian and has trained even I, someone terrified of horses and heights, to fly on a Pegasi. These are valauble skills, making her an asset we do not want to lose beyond my friendship to her."
Hera smiled at him brightly when he turned back to the gods. "Your love is impressive, your skill even more so. She is an impressive demigod, I will admit, not just for a child of Aphrodite but in general... but where is your point, my sweet boy?"
He smiled back this time and spoke to Hera directly. "Banishing her would weaken us, all of us, drastically. She is a powerful force with great respect in camp, she is a skilled warrior, trainer of many things... no, the best punishment is more of the same. Community service, give her a chance to help train people long past when she would normally leave camp. Make her stay during the year, she did last year for unknown reasons, maybe to spy... but now she can use that year to help train people even when her siblings leave. Give her the chance to make ammends, she can do it and she will impress. Imagine what a better director would do for Hermes' cabin, which is full to the brim during even the year. The Stoll brothers are incredible counslers but with Silena's help they could do so much more and become an even greater force. She could help me, I am bringing in Demigods frequently so she could help me bring them to safety. She could do a great many things. Banishment would be a waste. we need not be wasteful."
Silence... and then Themis stood up, her red hair wrapped into a gold laurel making her look like a thousand drachmas. "You speak well... Lord Zeus, this would fulfill your need for justice while still serving the Camp and giving this child, for that is what she is, a chance to better the Camp and herself. The boy is right, let us not be wasteful."
Zeus almost growled, a semi sexy sound that only milldly repulsed Aaron. "You speak often and when it is more inconvenient... why do you defend her?"
"Other then her being my friend? The Camp needs all of it's resources and she is one of them. We need all we can get to manage and survive against your father. I for one like living."
Hera put her hand on her husband's, getting him to cool off. "Dear Husband, I can see his connection to Thalia. If you harm him, you risk destroying your daughter. Calm yourself." She turned back to Aaron. "We accept your suggestion, Aaron. Silena will stay the years and help the Camp by training Demigods until three years pass or she dies. She will help you collect other Demigods and become the Hero she has every ounce of potential to become."
Aaron's soul lifted, he bowed to the Goddess before him. " Thank you, Lady Hera."
He felt Silena's shock behind him but before he could speak to her, Athena spoke up. "That is all well and good but we have more information to go over. With all we now know about Kronos and Luke's plans, we must begin preperations and planning. Less we drop the ball. We cannot do that with an audience."
Hera nodded. " She is right. You must go. Silena, know that your sentencing is magically enforced. You must do what we have told you, you physically cannot refute it. Is that clear?" Silena nodded. "Then you are dismissed, both of you. Be at peace and stay well." She waved her hand and they both vanished, swirling away in darkness... only to pop up back with the others.
Chiron, who had been watching, turned to the girl and nodded as he destroyed the Iris Message. "I am glad you got off easier, Silena."
The girl sighed and drop to her butt, clearly exhausted. "As am I. I thought I was the next Medusa."
They all chuckled a little.
"Meggy is happy Silena is okay, and you get to stay at Camp. Aaron had a good idea for you." Meggy hugged her sister, lifting her off of the ground. "I hope you learn your lesson."
"Trust me, I have... so where do I start?"
Chiron looked at his watch. "Perhaps you can help with the Apollo cabins sword lessons, they start in about ten minutes. Aaron can beat a third of them on his own, Percy can defeat all of them on his own. That shouldn't be, they need more aide. It would be a good idea to bolster their skills."
Silena nodded, looking determined. "I can do that." She hugged Aaron suddenly, close and tight. " Thank you for saving me... I think they would have either recruited me again by force or killed me. I am glad to have a chance to do more." Then she pulled away and walked out of the Big House.
Yawning Meggy stretched. "Meggy will help her, I think. There are a lot of Apollo kids, they could use some more varied skill levels. I will see if what I can do, besides I am in the mood to fight." She followed after Silena.
"Well that was exhausting." Aaron sighed and turned to face Chiron, who looked both excited and displeased.
"I would becareful, one day your luck is going to run out. Not many people can speak to the gods like you can and move them from a decision as you have. They will not like that and it will bring irritation and dislike towards you."
Aaron cringed. " I hope not but your probably right... thanks for the head up."
"You are welcome... now, I do beleive you owe Will a lesson magic."
"You are right. Come on Will, you are ready to move onto the basics of Magical combat I think. Normally I would teach you only what I know, but since I am learning this so should you. You'll need it to defend your patients."

On Olympus, Athena scowled at where the boy had just left. She hated him, he was a threat both with his burgeoning skills and his words. His words scared her, he outsmarted her father and even her, it had been her idea to just banish the girl to avoid a potential feud with Aphrodite. Losing her current favorite daughter would not sit well with such a powerful goddess. That the boy had presented a better option, one that actually served the Gods far better then her suggestion had.
She wanted to crush the boy, who's intelligence rivaled her children. Who outshined so many despite his utter lack of divinity, who grew in power by the hour and would one day reach immortality. She knew he would do it, she could easily envisiont that future for him. The boy had already charmed Dionysius, Triton, Artemis to some level, Poseidon and even Hera of all people! He was dangerous and she would not allow him to remain so, she would keep an eye on him until he did something that made it legal for her to punish him without retaliation from other gods.
She was sure he would do something, he was only a boy and prone to mistakes.
"What is wrong, Athena?" Hera's voice drew her from her thoughts, and Athena was forced to look up at the Goddess of Marriage. She hated that Hera was so much more powerful then she was, you could feel Hera's immense power from a mile away. She was on a whole other level from Athena, the closest Goddess bar Aphrodite herself, to the Big Three. She was not even a warrior in specialty and yet she could crush Athena both on the Battle field and in many games of intellectual contest. She hated her for that. "You seem upset."
"The boy, he troubles me."
"Hmmhmm... tell me, are you usually jealous of mortals or is he special?" Hera, to her lack of shock, saw right through her. "It is clear you either envy the boy or envy how he outshines your children. It is strange, you usually praise mortals that use their brains. I thought you would be excited to find one that is so capable."
Athena cringed. "I would, but the boy is too... too good. Look at what he has done, with such success despite his surronding people."
"I take that more as a mark on the laziness of the Demigods, who just survive, then any mark towards his actual abilities. He chooses to be more, it is why I favor him. I actually plan to see how he would advise me to gain more respect." Athena actually choked here. "What, I saw how much respect he has gained for Hades and he was nothing but feared before. No, it would be foolish to ignore what he is capable of. Now, will you leave the boy be or will we have to have a very different chat?"
Gritting her teeth, Athena managed to get out a small. " I will leave him be."
"Good... now, if you please, I have some things that need tending too." In a swirl of bright white light, her stepmother vanished, leaving Athena to her thoughts and her realization that the boy was even more dangerous the before.
With Hera more fully in his pocket...
He would be very, very difficult to defeat... and that would not stand.
Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.
