Hey! I decided to write another little oneshot! By the way, Eliteam Arcuramente is now on hold until I get at least one review for every chapter! Or until I get an idea...either one! Oh yeah, this is set in seventh year.

So, here is the one shot!

Enjoy...

Just a phase

Ron sat in one of the armchairs in front the fire in the common room, gazing at Hermione, who was curled up in the armchair next to his, reading a book entitled The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts. He was contemplating his feelings for her.

He thought of how his feelings towards Hermione had changed over the years.

Year one...

Hermione Granger. A bossy know-it-all who loved to stick her nose in other people's business. Still, eleven-year-old Ron couldn't help but be attracted to her intelligence.

It's just a phase...

Year two...

This year, Ron is starting to notice how pretty Hermione is. He tries to stop himself, but he stares at her. He can't help himself. When she was petrified, he felt an insane urge to hurt the person who had done it.

It's just a phase...

Year three...

Hermione was starting to mature now. Ron didn't even try to stop himself from staring anymore. He knew that it was useless. But the way that she had come running after him when he had chased Scabbers... he couldn't help but think that maybe that meant she felt the same way.

It's just a phase...

Year four...

This was the year that Ron nearly lost all hope of a relationship with Hermione. At the Yule Ball, she had looked absolutely amazing. Then he had seen her with Krum, and he though that his heart had shattered into a million tiny pieces. He had yelled that the Triwizard Tournament was only about winning, but what he really meant to say was "Why did you tear my heart out?" Then she had told him that if he hadn't left her as a last resort, she would have gone with him. His heart lifted a tiny bit. Did that mean what he thought it meant?

It's just a phase...

Year five...

It was getting increasingly difficult to stop staring at Hermione now. She seemed to be filling out in all the right places. He found that whenever he would think about her, he would almost always have to immediately go take a very cold shower.

It's just a phase...

Year six...

Had it really been six years? He really needed to face the fact that Hermione did not think of him that way and move on. So he moved on to Lavender to make Hermione jealous. Was it just him or did his plan work spectacularly?

It's just a phase...

Ron comes back to reality. He realizes that he has been staring at Hermione for too long so he looks away.

It's just a phase...move on...

Meanwhile, Hermione is looking at Ron, thinking to herself,

It's just a phase, Hermione...get over it...you'll have to do it sometime...

So what do you think? I think it's a load of horse hooey, but that's just me...
