Hello…well I wrote this earlier this year and I just looked at it again and decided it'd go really good with the DOTM theme. In my favorite daughter's point of view of course. Haha, my favorite daughter being Serena. Hope you like it…

"Ocean at Midnight"

The ocean gleams in the moonlight,

The wind softly blows my hair,

The beach is in such a peaceful state.

The moon's glow lights up the sky,

And the stars are so bright,

The night is better than day.

The only sounds are of the waves coming to the shore,

And of the wind whispering in my ear,

They are a pair,

The wind and the sea.

I sit on the sand,

And soak my feet,

The water seems to mend,

All my bruises,

My thoughts are clear now,

All my pain, sorrow, and happiness don't matter,

It's as if I am in a different world from the one I knew.

This world is peaceful,

While the other world is full of hurt, anger and sorrow,

I watch the water

It's so graceful,

I wish I could stay here forever,

In this beautiful world.
