Meanwhile, in a dark area, Six figures were observing the team just before they left the digital world.
"Hmph, those two are the chosen ones? The boy doesn't even know how to control his power. Let alone the girl." Figure 1 said referring to Davis and Kari.
"Not only that, that damn traitor Beelzemon is now with them, for this he will suffer my wrath." figure 2 roared
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, him being on their team might be a blessing in disguise, it could work in our favor to get information on those kids, and his partner seems to have a great darkness in him." The 6 figure said calmly.
Meanwhile, a fourth figure was just sleeping
"Sleeping as always… and in the middle of the meeting.'' The fifth figure said it's voice sounding feminine.
"It can't be helped, after all, he only awakens from his slumber every thousand years." figure 6 said.
"Nobu and his partners must be eliminated before he can help the children of light and miracles reach their full potential." figure 3 said calmly but with a hint of rage.
"Why finish them so early? It's best to prolong their suffering, one of you go play with them." figure 6 said.
"I'll do it, I'll show them what true envy is." Figure 3 said before leaving the cave.
After a few days and missions, the gang was starting to function as a team, well somewhat since Davis and Xeno were still miss-calling TK's name, Jun was getting the hang of being a DigiDestined, but she still flirts out loud to Matt. On the side, Nobu, Izzy and hard believe Xeno was working on improving the X-Antibody along with helping the older Digidestined's Digimon to digivolve back into their ultimate forms and to megas. Today school had ended and everyone was at Nobu's house with the exception of Xeno who was running late for some reason.
"Where's Xeni?" Nobu asked.
"He said he's coming, but he has a little visitor today." Davis answered.
"What do you mean?" TK asked.
Suddenly Xeno came in with a little girl walked in beside him holding Yaamon who was trying to get out of the girl's death hug, she looked about Cody's age, She had l short dark blue hair that went to her neck, with the same color eyes as Xeno himself. She wore a white T-shirt with a blue flower on it, along with blue shorts and brown shoes.
"Who's the girl that's squeezing Yaamon in a death grip?" TK asked.
"That is Xeno's youngest sister, meet Xia Jameser." Nobu answered.
"Hello!" Xia said in a cherry tone.
"Xeno, get her off me!" Yaamon yelled while the others giggled at his predicament.
"But why did you bring her, we have a 'task' to do?" Matt asked.
"My mom's on a date, Xion is at ballet lessons and our usual babysitter is sick so mom said I'm in charge of her." Xeno explained.
"Hey, Cody! Want to spar in kendo again?" Xia smiled. Xia was a happy go lucky little girl who enjoys fighting like her brother, but to her, it was more like a game than anything. She looks up to Xeno and wants to become as strong as him one day.
"I don't think I should." Cody said backing up, Xia and he were friends but she was stronger than she appeared and would always force him into submission holds and would knock him out in kendo.
"Aww, you no fun… coward." Xia pouted.
"We can't take her to the Digital World, it's dangerous." Tai said.
"Kari and T-Jack were 8 when they went right?" Xeno countered.
"I can take care of myself. I'm a big girl." Xia said as she dropped Yaamon before she began to punch and kick the air.
"Xeno I think it's best that she stays here. Haruka will take care of her while we are gone." Nobu said.
"Ok, if she got hurt my mom would hurt me." Xeno said, everyone but Nobu, Davis, Kari, Tai, and Sora was surprised that Xeno was scared of his mom, but it did make sense since a mother's rage would make any child shake in fear.
"You traitor I want to go." Xia said to Xeno, who glared at her.
"I'm not a traitor if it's between you hating me and mom killing me. I chose life." Xeno told Xia. "You stay here ok?" Xeno said bending down to her level. "You be good, and I'll take you out for ice cream when I get back."
"You promise?" Xia asked.
"I promise." Xeno smiled when Xia hugged him before he hugged back. Everyone just smiled at the warm scene.
"Come on everyone, it's time to go." Nobu said as they all went to his room. Before they entered the Digital World.
Soon everyone was on a beach as they heard the crash of the waves.
"Why can't we be teleported to more places like this?" Xeno questioned. "All it needs is some snake stands, some beach balls. And swimsuit models."
"I have a feeling that you would envision swimsuit models to look like Yolei." Davis smirked, making both Xeno and Yolei blush and glare at Davis.
"You're no different Motomiya! It would be the same if Kari was in a Bikini!" Xeno yelled as both boys glared at each other while Kari just blushed from Xeno's comeback.
"All of you shut up and let's just relax okay." Nobu yelled as he started to relax in the shade.
"So why bring us here?" Matt asked. "There has to be more to this right?"
"Geez, rock star can't you enjoy some time in the sun." Xeno said as he laid down on the sand.
"So today is mostly a day off Nobu?" Davis asked.
"Mostly, we've been fighting so much and we deserve a little break." Nobu answered.
"You could have told us earlier we could have brought our swimsuits." Sora said.
"Sorry, my bad." Nobu said as he started to get up and explored the region where the beach was located.
"Wait where are you going?" Tai asked
"Just exploring." Nobu said as he left them
Meanwhile, in the dark deep depths of the ocean of the Digital World, the third figure appeared before his servants.
"Master what is your command?" his servants asked.
"Attack the DigiDestined and find out what their power is like." the master said
"As you wish." his servants said as they swam to the Digidestined's location.
Meanwhile, the Digidestend were relaxing on the beach, most of the Digimon were in the water enjoying a swim with the exception of Gatomon, Hawkmon, Biyomon, Impmon, Gabumon, Tentomon, and Labramon were on the beach. However, the kids themselves couldn't go into the water without any swimwear.
"You know, Nobu should have told us to be ready for the beach. But we're stuck here just looking at the waves." Davis complained.
"Tell me about it." Yolei added as she picked up a seashell.
"So what do we do? We can't just sit here." Tai said.
"Maybe we should take Nobu's lead and explore a bit." Gabumon suggested
Suddenly Impmon felt something approaching. "Somethings coming." Impmon said, gaining everyone's attention.
Meanwhile coming from the ocean was something big, before they heard a voice. "Aqua Viper." it shouted as, from underwater, a blast of energy was launched at the DigiDestined.
"Night of Fire!"
"Spiral Twister!"
"Blue Blaster!"
"Supershocker!"
All five attacks collided with each other but the unknown attackers were stronger as it ripped right through their attacks with ease.
"Move!" Davis yelled as everyone nearly ducked out of the way.
"Can't get a peaceful day off, can we?" Yolei said.
"In the digital world, I don't, it's that easy Yolei." Hawkmon told his partner.
All of a sudden the unknown Digimon emerged from the ocean revealing himself to be an aquatic chimera of sorts of various aquatic Digimon, having the head and legs of Coelamon, the horn, tusks, ears, and mane of Ikkakumon, the horns of Octomon as well as its tentacles for a tail, the body of Seadramon, the dorsal fins of Dolphmon, the tentacles of Gesomon on its back, the left arm of Ebidramon, and the right arm of Divermon holding the Trident. But what surprised everyone was the lack of a dark ring on his body.
"What the hell is that thing?" Tai said he had never seen a Digimon that looked like that before.
"Izzy?" Sora asked.
Izzy took out his computer and scanned the Digimon and found nothing. "It's not in my database." shocking the others.
"Wait look." Kari said as she noticed that he didn't have a Dark Ring anywhere on his body.
"So he doesn't work for the Digimon Emperor, then why is he attacking us?" Davis asked.
"Only two possibilities, one he's working for the Digimon emperor out of free will. Or we're on his territory." Cody suggested.
"I don't think so, I think it's more than that," Tentomon remarked.
"Hmph, I don't care who he works for, I was enjoying some peace and quiet. Now he'll pay." Xeno said as he took out his Digivice. "Let's sink that soggy sucker Impmon."
"Impmon Digivolve to… Devimon." Devimon took to the air ready to attack. "Demon's Ray!" Devimon fired multiple attacks at the unknown Digimon creating a huge cloud of smoke as Devimon landed in front of the others and crossed his arms and smirked. "That was disappointing. I was hoping for a real challenge."
Suddenly the unknown Digimon appeared out of the Ocean and stabbed Devimon with its trident, reverting him back to Impmon.
"You were saying Impy?" Veemon said with a smirk, making Impmon glare at him.
"Next time don't just rush into a battle without thinking." Gatomon added.
"Is that all my master's former colleague has to offer? If so I'm disappointed." the unknown Digimon said
"Master? Former colleague? You're from the ocean, which means Leviamon!" Impmon said in shock, he didn't think the others would appear so soon.
"He works for one of the demon lords? That's not good." Tai said.
"Indeed, I was sent to see how strong you DigiDestined and the chosen ones are, but seeing how all of you are now, you are no match for my master and the others." the unknown Digimon said.
"I'm not scared of you or your master. I'll beat all the demon lords." Davis said with bravado.
"You tell him Davis." Veemon stated.
"You really think so, you are nothing but weaklings in the face of the demon lord's power, now drown in the dark depths of the ocean of the mighty power of I, MarinChimairamon." MarinChimairamon roared as he created a tidal wave that threatened to engulf the DigiDestined.
"Giga Destroyer '' a voice was suddenly heard as a bunch of lasers were blasted at the tidal wave that stopped the tidal wave completely.
When the DigiDestined look in the other direction they all say Nobu and his MetalGreymon ready to engage in battle.
"About time you showed up Nobi, you certainly gave a new meaning to the saying a day at the beach." Xeno called out.
"I don't believe so?" Impmon called out getting everyone' attention.
"What do you mean?" Nobu glared
"Never mind the insults, Nobu do you know how to beat that thing?" Matt asked.
"Yeah, it looks like something out of a horror movie." Biyomon added.
"I've never seen that Digimon, but it's definitely the work of the demon lords." Nobu said.
"If we all work together we can take that thing down." Tai said.
"Don't bother, you'll all get in my way." Nobu said in a tone that he rarely uses
'It's rare to hear him say that. Things must be bad.' Xeno thought.
"Alright, MetalGreymon Let's go." Nobu shouted as MetalGreymon flew straight at MarinChimairamon
"Trident Arm." MetalGreymon roared as his armored gauntlet on his left arm heat up, before he attempted to slam into MarinChimairamon.
"Harpoon Jab." MarinChimairamon roared as he countered with his trident, creating shockwaves everyone on the side felt the power both combatants were giving off which caused most of the team to lose footing.
"What power… it feels like the whole area is falling apart." Matt started as tried to keep his balance.
"I've never felt anything like this, MarinChimariamon's power, it's almost like the Dark Masters power, even more powerful." Patamon said, shocking the older DigiDestined they knew first hand what the dark masters were capable of, but if this Digimon was much stronger than them. This could go bad.
"I take that these Dark Masters were as strong as him." Jun asked while trying to stay on her feet.
"Yes, they nearly destroyed us. Luckily we were able to defeat them." Matt answered.
"Jun, the Dark Masters were nothing compared to the Demon Lords, each one even then the weakest of them were as strong as ten of them. And if they are really back, then things will be more difficult." Labramon said.
Meanwhile, a voice called out from the ocean. "Stand aside, I'll handle him." before coming onto land revealing himself as a gigantic prehistoric crocodile with two tails.
"Leviamon!" Impmon shuttered in fear.
"So that's the Demon Lord of envy? He looks more like he could represent rage." Xeno said.
"Long time no see Nobu." Leviamon said.
"Agree, it has been awhile, I see you have a new lieutenant?" Nobu replied
"Yes, I created him by combining Data from various aquatic digimon." Leviamon replied
"So you're a Digimon dr. frankenstein." Davis remarked.
"Davis please be quiet, right now he's calm but in battle, Leviamon is as merciless as Machinedramon of the Dark Masters." Nobu scolded, as Leviamon grin showing his teeth
"My grandma has bigger teeth than you have. I don't care if your demon lord, you'll all die by my hand either way." Xeno said as he clenched his fist.
"That's tough talk from a human." Leviamon mocked as he suddenly lunged at Xeno at lightning speed shocking him hoping to catch him in his jaws.. "Biting Crush." he roared.
"MetalGreymon." Nobu shouted.
"Right." as he flew in and tackled Leviamon so that Xeno was spared a grim death.
"You're Fighting me." MetalGreymon said as he faces Leviamon
"Very well." Leviamon said as he held his ground
"MetalGreymon Digivolve now." Nobu shouted.
"MetalGreymon Digivolve to...ZekeGreymon." ZekeGreymon roared
"Whoa! Love the threads." Davis smirked.
"Prodiscus." Izzy said.
"He looks good in gold." Xeno admitted. "Also thanks for saving me." Xeno told Nobu.
"You have to stop shooting off your mouth, it'll get you killed and I don't want to tell your family you're dead." Nobu said.
"But can ZekeGreymon win?" Tai asked.
"I say there's a small, and I mean small chance. Leviamon is much stronger than back then." Nobu said. "And he's not even the strongest of them."
"Trident Fang." ZekeGreymon roared as he used his claws to deliver a powerful strike against Leviamon.
"Tail Strike." Leviamon roared as he countered with his gigantic two tails that pushed ZekeGreymon into the depths of the ocean.
"No way… is he ok?" Yolei asked in fear.
Nobu didn't say anything and was just staring at the battle.
Suddenly ZekeGreymon came flying out of the Ocean and aimed the gun barrel on his arm at Leviamon, before shooting multiple blasts of energy at Leviamon. Before Charging in and striking at close range with his claws
"Those movements, they almost remind me of WarGreymon." Tai said
"It would be nice if we had WarGreymon right now, we could use some megas." Sora said.
"That does it Agumon let's go." Tai said
"Are you stupid Tai you can't just send Agumon out there?" Matt said.
"Matt I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines feeling helpless. Not when a friend of ours is fighting a monster." Tai said pushing past Matt. with Agumon following behind. As his digivice glowed.
"Agumon X evolution to… Agumon X. Agumon X Digivolve to… Greymon X" Greymon X roared ready to fight.
Tai's digivice continued to glow even brighter causing Greymon X to evolve even further which caused both Zekegreymon and Leviamon to cease fighting temporarily.
"What's this?" Leviamon asked out of curiosity.
"Greymon X digivolve to… MetalGreymon X." this new Digimon looked like MetalGreymon, only the metal helmet now looks sharper with more details on it, his mechanical arm looks more advanced, his hair seems wilder and his wings are now blue.
"Alright!" Tai exclaimed. "Looking good MetalGreymon X."
"Nice Tai with MetalGreymon X and ZekeGreymon you'll definitely beat Leviamon." Davis smiled.
"We'll see about that." Leviamon said.
"You ready?" ZekeGreymon asked.
"Whenever you are, old man." MetalGreymon X replied as both took to the air ready to battle.
"You are nothing before my power." Leviamon roared. "Thunder Breath." he called out while breathing out a blast of lightning at both of them.
"Zeke Flame." ZekeGreymon called out as he countered by breathing out flames
Meanwhile, MetalGreymon X kept on flying until he was within a close range of Leviamon. "Giga Storm." he called out as his chest opened up and he fired intense energy beams at Leviamon.
'I can't lose not to these scum.' Leviamon thought. "Duo-Tail strike" he called out as he spun around striking both ZekeGreymon and MetalGreymon X with his tails, and while they were disoriented, "Biting Crush." Leviamon called out as he lunged at MetalGreymon X with his jaws wide open but ZekeGreymon managed to recover quickly as he pushed MetalGreymon X out of the way and was caught between Leviamon's gigantic jaws.
"No!" all the DigiDestined and Digimon on the side yelled in shock and fear.
"Zekegreymon!" Nobu yelled in fear, at seeing his partner in the jaws of Leviamon.
"Now you see that none of you stand a chance." Leviamon said before tossing ZekeGreymon onto the ground.
"We'll see about that." MetalGreymon X said as he charged at Leviamon. "Trident Arm" he called out, launching his claws on an energy wire which Leviamon avoided before slamming him to the ground with his tail. But he got back up, "Giga Storm." he roared, firing energy blasts from his chest to which Leviamon avoided and countered with a blast of water which MetalGreymon X avoided.
'What's happening? I don't understand.' Leviamon thought.
"He's matching Leviamon! We could win this." Cody said.
Meanwhile, ZekeGreymon got back up. "For now, but Leviamon is a Demon Lord for a Reason."
"But didn't you defeat him last time?" Kari asked.
"We did but only with help from other Digimon and with careful analysis and only then just barely." Nobu revealed
"Nobu, we're a team and together we'll win and that's how the DigiDestined always wins by working together." Tai said.
"Agreed." Nobu said.
"Oh no look at the fight." TK said.
"Biting Crush." Leviamon called out as he lunged at MetalGreymon X and caught him within his jaws. "I'm going to enjoy drowning you in the depths of the ocean." as he attempted to go into the ocean but MetalGreymon X had his mechanical arm dug in deep into the ground
"MetalGreymon X don't give up, we've always come out on top. We always defend our friends and family by not backing down from monsters like him and we'll show him and the other Demon Lords that they can't stop us!" Tai called out showing great courage and trust in his partner.
Meanwhile, ZekeGreymon came by and attempted to forcefully lift Leviamon's jaws up. "Come on kid, let's go, your partner needs you right now."
"Right!" Tai called out as he ran towards MetalGreymon surprising everyone but Nobu.
"And people call me and Motomiya reckless. But Tai show's great courage and trust in his partner that's to be commended." Xeno said.
"Come on Tai come on MetalGreymon X sink that overgrown sea lizard!" Davis cheered.
"We all believe in you both." Veemon called out.
As soon as Tail got near MetalGreymon X, his digivice shone brighter causing MetalGreymon X to glow causing Leviamon to back away.
"What is this?!" Leviamon called out.
The light caused the damage on both ZekeGreymon and MetalGreymon X to be restored while at the same time MetalGreymon X right arm started to become energy which he used to whip Leviamon before the energy disperses revealing a massive fanged railgun to replace MetalGreymon X organic right arm shocking everyone while Nobu was interested.
"What the?" Leviamon said shocked
"I don't know what it is, but i can tell you their bond is what created this new power." Nobu said.
"Hey old man, looks like we're really alike now huh?" MetalGreymon X chuckled
"Hmph, I'm still better than you are." ZekeGreymon replied.
"Love the weapon, I wonder if I can make a gun just like it?" Xeno questioned.
"Of course you would Xeni." Yolei muttered.
"Don't call me that!" Xeno yelled.
"Follow me." ZekeGreymon shouted as both he and MetalGreymon X flew at Leviamon
Both of them unleash bombardments using their new ranged weaponry against Leviamon who stood his ground and counter-attack, while MetalGreymon X surprised everyone by using it as a sword as well to defend himself while ZekeGreymon unleashes a defensive sweep using his tail to annihilate his opposition.
"Repeat after me kid." ZekeGreymon called out as charged at Leviamon with his claws. "Final Strikes" he called out while maintaining a lowered stance while becoming an arrow of shining light and assaulting Leviamon, at the same time releasing the energy at point-blank range to decrepit him.
"Trident Arm Ver.9.9" MetalGreymon X called out at the same time as he slammed his mechanical arm against Leviamon hard which released an explosion of energy.
"Damn you!" Leviamon roared
As soon as both ZekeGreymon and MetalGreymon X regrouped with each other they both aimed their gun barrels/railguns at Leviamon intending to finish him off.
"Now ready and aimed." ZekeGreymon called out. "Hyper Launcher" he roared as he shot a high-power energy shot at Leviamon
Meanwhile at the same time, "Positron Blaster" MetalGreymon X roared as he concentrated energy in his new weapon and fired at Leviamon
Both blasts hit him causing a huge explosion everyone took cover in a sand trap as the blast. As it ended everyone looked out to see that Leviamon was still standing but only slightly injured.
"What? All of those powerful attacks and just that amount of damage?" ZekeGreymon shouted in shock
'It proves the Demon Lords are stronger than ever, me and Haruka knowing the future could also explain why they are stronger than they should.' Nobu thought.
"I can still go a few rounds." MetalGreymon X said.
"As could I, but I saw what I needed to see so I'll be going." Leviamon said before turning to MarinChimairamon who was patiently watching the battle. "Let's go back and report to the others."
"Very well master." MarinChimairamon said as both went back into the ocean.
"That wasn't a chore now was it?" Veemon smiled.
"Not funny." Nobu said, not very amused
"Trying to lighten the tension Nobu." Veemon replied.
"You were great out there Agumon." Tai smiled.
"Thanks Tai, next time we'll win." Agumon smiled back when Sora slapped Tai in the back of his head, making him yep in pain.
"Stupid Tai! Why do you have to something so Stupid you could have been killed!" Sora yelled.
Tai hugged Sora as she hugged him back. "I'm sorry Sora, I just couldn't stand by and let Agumon get hurt."
"Leviamon is much stronger than he was back then, and if he and others are stronger we might not win." Impmon frowned.
"Why are you being a downer? Where's that mighty Demon Lord attitude." Greymon mocked.
"You fool, back then you could make a few dents in him. But now even with you and MetalGreymon X's combined power it wasn't enough to even slow him down, he was testing you the next time you fight him he'll end you quickly." Impmon remarked.
"I think we should all go home now, after this we need to relax." Matt suggested, everyone nodded in agreement as they made their way to the nearest Digiport
Meanwhile, the Digimon Emperor who had been watching the whole battle was reviewing the data he had collected.
"Hmm, so that was a Demon Lord. and the Digimon that was with him it was made of different pieces of different Digimon." the Digimon Emperor said as he thought of a plan to control the Demon Lords and was going over MarinChimairamon's data thinking it could be useful for him.
'Oh, Ken…' Wormmon said in worry.
Back in the real world, everyone had gone home, at the moment Nobu was searching his room for something when Haruka came in.
"Nobu what's wrong?" Haruka asked.
"The Crest of Darkness! It's not on my desk, do you have it?" Nobu asked.
"No, are you sure you didn't misplace it?" Haruka asked.
"No, it was on my desk when I left. Did anyone come in here?" Nobu asked.
Haruka thought for a minute before her eyes widened. "I think I know where it is!"
Elsewhere Xia was in her bedroom looking at the weird necklace that she took from Nobu's house. She had thought it was pretty and just couldn't resist when Xeno came into the room as she quickly hid it under her pillow.
"Dinner's ready kiddo." Xeno said. "Also what do you have?"
"Nothing…" Xia said innocently.
"Xia! Show me what you have or I'm telling mom." Xeno said with authority, Xia frowned but showed the necklace that she took from Nobu's house.
"Where did you get that?" Xeno said as he took it from Xia.
"Nobu's house…" Xia answered.
"Damn, Xia. I'm going to have to turn it in tomorrow. And how many times have we told you no stealing now come on it's time for Dinner." Xeno said as he left with Xia following him.

Davis stood soaking wet in the rain sadly staring in the sky. As Kari was in her room window as she sadly watched the heavy rains continue to fall. Davis was now walking, his hair covering his eyes as memories of his friends and their Digimon appeared behind him smiling as he continued to aimlessly walk, Kari was now outside soaking wet, as she walked down the sidewalk she remembered her time with Davis as kids. Xeno was in his home with a sorrowful expression as a dark void showing his father's death and his younger self crying in pain, as his scared eye closed. Davis walked past a window that showed a reflection of himself as a kid playing with Kari, both smiling and laughing. Yolei, and Cody at her house watching the rainfall. Kari now passed a park and saw a swing, she then saw a younger Davis pushing her younger self high on the swing before it faded, making her sigh as she continued to walk. TK was laying on his bed, as the memory of Angemon's sacrifice still haunted him before he closed his eyes and fell into slumber. Ken sat in his chair typing on his computer, before looking out the window as his shadow took the shape of the Digimon Emperor. Davis stopped as he realized he was in front of his old school, as an image of him and Kari were walking home from school before they faded from sight. Meanwhile, at Nobu's house, he was practicing kendo with his younger brother Sai, while his mother Sakura was treating a patient in her office, and his sister Haruka was lounging in the house while it rained outside. Davis stopped at a sidewalk, he looked up and saw Kari standing across the street, both DigiDestined eyes widen as they both walked to each other and smiled looking into each other's eyes as they slowed leaned in as the rains slowly began to stop, as they kissed the clouds slowly went away as a beam of light shined on them, as the clouds went away and showed their crests appeared in the sky above them.
A/N: I hope you all liked this chapter and abilities I added in from the new Digimon anime my Co-writer Skylanderzilla showed me, but I still prefer the original adventure series over it, but I will say great fight scenes from it though. Until the next chapter, this is Miracleking64 signing out.
