To many kids a weekend was a godsend from school, including most of the DigiDestined with the exception of Joe who is studying for the weekend, and Mimi, today they were all having a meeting in the park without Xeno who refused to come to it. The news left Tai anxious, he was both angry and worried about Agumon in the hands of the Demon Lords, along with the fact that Kari and the others were almost killed yesterday.
"Dragon huh? Who names themselves that?" Matt questioned.
"Apparently this guy, but is really our ally? I know he said Kari and the others but," Izzy trailed off, trying to wrap his head around the Dragon mystery he had looked up the data the others brought back on the creatures that had saved the second team
"I wonder what he's like?" Jun asked out self she was told by Yolei about Dragon who had mysteriously saved their lives, she was curious about him, not that she was interested in another man her heart would always go to Matt.
"Let's worry about Dragon later, we should be worried about Agumon and how we are planning to save him," Kari spoke up.
"Yes, Nobu do you know anything about these SoundBirdmon? I've never heard of them," Sora asked, like her boyfriend she was worried about Agumon, not just her Biyomon was also worried about him as well.
"Only that I thought that I destroyed all of them in battle, apparently I wasn't very thorough enough." Nobu cursed.
"Well that just sucks, who knows how many are out in the digital world," Davis crossed his arms.
"Well I should say this, unlike the dark rings just one Soundbirdmon can take control of multiple Digimon at once," Nobu explained. "However they must stay nearby at all times so that the victims remain in control."
"So the Soundbirdmon would be nearby, to keep control of the Digimon," TK said.
"Yes, however you can't attack it with either a demon lord or a high-level Digimon protecting it," Nobu said.
"We got to try, Agumon needs us," Tai said with determination in his voice.
"We will, Tai, but let's try to think of a plan," Izzy stated.
"By the way, where's Mr bad attitude?" Nobu asked, referring to Xeno.
"Don't know, haven't seen Xeno all day, he is still mad about being called out by Mr. Yuki," Yolei answered.
"What happened?" Nobu asked
"Jaden had called Xeno a hypocrite and coward for saying he doesn't need or want friends," Cody answered.
"Bluntly said but not inaccurate if you ask me," Nobu replied.
"But Jaden knew Xeno had a partner Nobu," Kari informed. "He must know about us and the Digimon,"
"This is bad, if he knew about the Digital World it could be trouble," Izzy said.
"I don't think so, it's not really a secret that Digimon exists," Nobu told Izzy.
"So this Jaden, what's he like?" Tai asked, having not been around to formally meet.
"Well he's a smart guy who has a nice sense of humor, he also likes to help us out with our studies and is patient with us," Kari said, giving her opinion.
"Not to mention, he is super hot," Yolei smiled dreamily.
"He also seems experienced with situations similar to Xeno as when we talked he told me that he knew people similar to Xeno and that in his words that they keep going on that path they'll just end up pushing everyone away and eventually lose everything sooner or later until it's too late," Nobu explained
"Sounds like the advice he should take, but I don't think he would," Matt said, knowing that Xeno would just shrug off the advice.
"I know." Nobu sighed
"Well Hello there." a voice said. They all turned to see Jaden who was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans and brown shoes, along with him was a young woman who was wearing a yellow penny-t long green skirt and sandals.
"Mr. Yuki, it's nice to see you," Yolei said.
"Nice to see you as well." Jaden greeted with a smile. "What are all of you doing out?"
"Just enjoying our weekend, it's nice to meet you. My name is Tai Kamiya, Kari's brother," Tai said.
"Names, Matt Ishida TK's older brother," Matt said politely.
'Ishida and Takashi? Their parents must have gotten a divorce or something if they have different names,' Jaden thought.
"It's nice to meet you, sir, my name is Izzy, and Kari has told me about your theories on the multiverse and its complexity," Izzy said in excitement. "Maybe one of these days, we could go over it together if you don't mind?"
"Sure I don't mind." Jaden smiled.
Sora and Jun blushed at the sight of Jaden, they both were trying to find their voices.
"Umm.. my… name is Sora it's nice to meet you Jaden," Sora stuttered.
"And my name is Jun, I hope my twerp of a brother hasn't been a jerk to you," Jun said.
"Twerp, Jerk?! You're one to talk!" Davis yelled at Jun. "trust me Jaden, Jun only thinks of herself and her crushes and neglects other things!"
"What did you say!" Jun yelled back as she and Davis glared at each other.
"Now calm down, a brother and sister shouldn't fight," Nozomi said stepping between them,
'This reminds me of how me and Mana would act towards each other,' Jaden thought, remembering the countless times he and his first sister would argue and fight. "I see the coward isn't here?" Jaden said, referring to Xeno.
"Yeah, he decided not to show up," Matt said.
"So who's your friend Mr. Yuki," Kari asked, trying to change the subject.
"Oh, I would like you all to meet Nozomi, I'm currently renting out her house," Jaden introduced his friend.
"It's to meet you all," Nozomi said. "I'm a college student, but I take in some people who need a place to stay but only if they help with things around the house,"
"Nice to meet you Nozomi," all the Digidestined replied.
"So what are you doing out this late at night?" Jaden asked.
"Hummm, just doing some star gazing," Yolei answered.
"That's nice, tonight is a perfect night to look at the stars, very romantic," Nozomi said looking to the sky.
"Okay then, just make sure to be back home soon." Jaden reminded them. "You still have school tomorrow."
"Alright," Nobu nodded. With that Jaden and Nozomi had left the kids.
"Not bad looking," Sora commented.
"Sora…" Tai uttered eye twitching.
Sora then hugged Tai's arm. "Don't be jealous Tai, my heart will always belong to you," Tai smiled as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
Jun then held Matt's arm making him feel uncomfortable. "And my heart will always be yours, Matt," Jun smirked, Matt just sighed in annoyance.
Davis just shook his head at his sister's annoyance but was caught by surprise when Kari leaned her head on his left shoulder making him blush. "It is a nice starry night huh?" Kari asked Davis.
Davis's mind was racing, happy that his crush was leaning on him. "Y-yeah… yeah it is…" he stuttered.
Elsewhere Xeno was looking up at the stars from atop his apartment, his mind still processing what Jaden had said, thinking back to all the times he had spent with the others, from Nobu, Davis, and Kari his sisters, and most of all Yolei but he dismissed those thoughts., 'coward? I am no coward, the only thing bonds and friends bring you is pain when they die, father what should I do?'
The next day the DigiDestined decided to head to the digital world after school. At the moment Jaden was finishing up a lesson with them.
"Alright class, I'll give you your test results after the weekends," Jaden announced as he left the room.
"I hope I did well. Cause my mom and dad expect me to pass this class," Davis said nervously.
"I'm sure you did ok, Davis," Kari said she had helped Davis with his studies during the weekend and she knew Davis was going to pass.
Davis nodded."What about you Xeno?" Davis asked.
Xeno just yawned. "I don't really care about it," he replied in a bored tone.
"Xeni can't at least show some interest?" Kari asked.
Xeno glared at her. "Don't call me that Kari, I swear!"
Meanwhile Jaden was walking out of the classroom. "Good evening Motomiya, Kamiya… coward," Jaden said.
"And hello to you too, cocksucker," Xeno replied.
"I don't wish to hear that from someone who can't handle the truth. And complains like an infant." Jaden smirked, causing Xeno to get angry enough to draw his guns on school grounds.
"Xeno drop it!" Davis shouted, putting his hand on Xeno's shoulder. Xeno glared at him for a second and growled before putting both his guns away.
"Just tell us the results so I don't need to see your ugly face anymore today," Xeno growled.
"Xeno, please let it go," Kari said, rolling her eyes. "So what's our score, ?"
"Maybe a sneak peek wouldn't hurt," Jaden admitted. "Kari A, Davis C-, and Xeni F possibly because he hates me," Jaden told them
"Whatever," Xeno dismissed.
"C minus?" Davis complained.
"Anyway, have fun on your adventure," Jaden said. "And good luck," Jaden said as he left
"That guy is a load of bullshit," Xeno commented.
"You know Xeni, you're just saying that cause you've never liked the guy in the first place since he beat you up since you first met," Kari stated
"I'm starting to hate him too, I mean I stayed up half the night studying and all I got was a c minus," Davis sighed.
"Now that's no reason to hate a teacher." Kari sighed. "But you know what's odd, he said have fun on our adventure and he wished us good luck," Kari stated
"I don't think he's really a teacher, I swear I'll find out who he really is," Xeno declared.
Kari chuckled. "And if he really does have a teaching license?" Kari asked
"Then I shoot him in the head," Xeno answered before leaving the classroom.
"My parents are not going to be happy, even when I'm trying hard. It's almost never enough," Davis said in frustration.
"It's ok Davis, there's always next time," Kari told him.
"Yeah, right…" Davis frowned, he knew he wasn't the smartest person in school but for him to get a c- it just felt like he was cheated.
The gang had met in the lunchroom, Davis was still upset about his test school while Yolei was just giggling about it.
"I can't believe you got a c-, you must have not tried too hard." Yolei mocked.
"Shut up Yolei, I'm not in the mood," Davis replied.
"Better a c- then an F," Kari said looking at Xeno who was eating his sandwich as if he didn't care. "Xeno you should try harder if you are to pass,"
"I don't care fuck that foolish old man," Xeno told Kari. "I'll be happy once I kill him,"
"Xeno you shouldn't talk about killing people, it's wrong to think about taking a life," TK told him.
"This coming from someone who kills evil Digimon," Xeno countered before he left the table.
TK got angered. That was different you asshole, we did it just to survive. You're doing it to cover that trauma, maybe Jaden was right, you are a coward." TK exclaimed.
Xeno stopped, he turned and glared at TK. "You still have your father despite him living with your brother, I don't have a father," Xeno replied as he walked away.
Tk Suddenly grabbed Xeno and punched him in the face, shocking everyone, "Jaden was right you are a coward, every time that's mentioned you just walk away from your damn problems." TK yelled.
Xeno got to his feet, wiping the blood off his lip, and just looked at it. "Well, looking like Mr hopeful grew a pair," Xeno said unfazed by TK's punch. "My turn…" Xeno smirked as he threw a punch at TK but Jaden stopped his fist from landing.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jaden asked in the coldest tone
Xeno wasn't scared. "He drew first blood, I'm replaying it," Xeno answered.
"No, he was telling the truth, and you're just scared to admit it," Jaden replied with the coldest gaze on his face as he applied pressure to Xeno's wrist causing him to scream in pain
"Ahhh, son of a bitch," Xeno yelled in pain. "You got quite a grip, for an old man,"
"Xeno just shut up!" Yolei told him.
"Mr. Yuki, he isn't worth it," Davis said. "Don't lose your job just because he's a jackass,"
"You need to learn to let and accept what you have, you'll lose everything," Jaden glared at Xeno before shoving him to the ground.
Xeno seethed as he twisted his wrist in circles. "Almost broke my arm…." he said.
"I'm warning you kid, you better start understanding that there are people that suffer more than you do," Jaden said before leaving.
"You did deserve that," TK said glaring at Xeno,
"Yes mom," Xeno mocked. "Well I'm out of here," he said before leaving the room.
"He can be insufferable at times," Kari frowned, he may be her childhood friend but he was the biggest jerk she had ever seen.
"Yeah," Yolei agreed.
"Well we only have a few more periods to go, then we head out to the digital world," Cody said hoping things would cool down.
Davis just looked in at the door and sighed before he went back to eating his lunch.
Jaden was angry at how stubborn this world's Xeno was, nothing he said seemed to get through the idiot's skull, the next time we wouldn't save him, the others were fine but that version of his uncle is better off dead.
"You ok Mr. Yuki?" Xion asked as she walked up to him.
"Yeah, but your brother is a pain, how do you deal with that asshole?" Jaden questioned.
Xion sighed. "I just do, I can't force him to change no matter how hard I want the old Xeno back, but I know deep down he does want to connect with us, he's just scared of losing everyone like father,"
"Your brother is a coward Xion, I don't think he's worth saving," Jaden bluntly admitted.
Xion just smiled. "Jaden, a true coward is a person who gives up on helping the ones they love, to I won't stop until my brother smiles again, and I can tell my friends feel the same way,"
Jaden smiled and rubbed her head "Well good luck with that." Jaden smiled
"Thanks, I'll see you later," Xion said as she walked away.
'That kid has no idea what he has, friends and family that loyal doesn't come around so often,' Jaden thought
Meanwhile, everyone including Tai, Matt, and Sora were at the computer room, ready to save Agumon from the demon lords.
"Alright, it's time we saved Agumon, the last know sighting was around some facility area," Nobu said,
"Sounds like a perfect place for an ambush," Matt said. "We got to be careful,"
"That's right, let's not count Leviamon won't be there," Xeno said.
"Let's not forget the Soundbirdmon," Sora said.
"Let's go save Agumon," Tai said.
"Right!" everyone said with the exception of Xeno who remained silent. As they held up their digivices to the computer as they were teleported to the digital world,.
They had arrived in a desert area, they were met by Jun and Seasarmon who had arrived not long ago.
"What took you all so long?" Jun asked in a joking tone.
"Not now, Jun, we need to find Agumon, he was last seen at a facility in this desert," Nobu said.
"Let just get a move on," Xeno said rudely as he and Impmon walked ahead of them.
"What's with him?" Jun asked.
"What isn't with him?" Nobu answered. They followed after Xeno and Impmon."Alright, what's wrong with you?" Nobu asked as he grabbed Xeno by the shoulders
"Nothing now let go," Xeno replied.
"He's upset that Jaden is right about him being a coward," TK answered.
"Really? That's what this is all about?" Nobu exclaimed exasperated
"It's none of your business," Xeno said before turning to TK. "I haven't forgotten that punch to the face TJ, I'll tear you apart when this is over,"
"What happened?" Nobu demanded
"It's the same old story, he thinks he has no friends, and he walks away from his problems like a little baby throwing a temper tantrum," Yolei said.
Xeno glared at them balling his fists so hard they started to bleed.
"Then you have no room to argue and have only yourself to blame for this Xeno, tell me, is Impmon your friend or just a tool?" Nobu asked
"Hmph," Xeno huffed as he looked at his partner.
"Answer the question now," Nobu demanded
"No, he's not a tool," Xeno answered.
"Then Jaden was right, you are a hypocrite," Nobu said as he punched Xeno to the ground.
Xeno glared at Nobu as he got to his feet. "You think I care about what you all think of me, then don't bother, I stopped caring 3 years ago,"
"You know what, then go die in the pits of hell." Dragon said as he appeared before everyone surprising everyone
"Well that's a dramatic entrance," Xeno stated. "If you are done bothering me, I'm leaving, let's go, Impmon," Xeno said as Impmon followed behind him.
Dharak however landed in front of them. "You're not going anyway." Dharak snarled.
"Woah, you're bigger up close, but thanks for helping last now move," Xeno said.
"Yeah, we got places to be dragon boy," Impmon stated.
Dharak however slammed his tail in front of them, forcing them on the ground.
"I wouldn't do anything If I were you, Unlike me, Dharak doesn't have any patience and won't hesitate to eradicate his enemies." Dragon explained.
"Hehe," Xeno smirked as he stood up. "Whatever you say, masked man,"
Dharak then stared at Dragon. "Dragon you sure it's wise? You or I could just kill him and get it over with." Dharak said.
"No one's killing anyone, we are all on the same side regardless," Sora spoke up, not wanting a fight to break out.
However, Sora's response had the opposite effect on Dharak. You dare talk back to me." Dharak roared once again displaying his power.
"Dharak, calm down, she's right." Dragon said."As much as I hate Xeno's attitude, we're still on the same side."
Dharak, while still enraged, started calming down after Dragon calm him down.
"Who are you anyway? I'm not being rude but why are you helping us?" Tai asked.
Dragon sighed after a moment "After this is all over I'll tell you everything alright." Dragon said
"Well now that that's over, how about we move on, doesn't Agumon needs us," Xeno said with his back turned to them. "Or are you all ok with him being a real tool for the Demon Lords?"
He's right." Dragon said. "Dharak!" Dragon said.
"Sir," Dharak announced as he began glowing before returning back to ball form and returning to Dragon's hand.
"How did you do that?" Davis asked in shock.
"Yeah, he turned into a ball, no Digimon can do that," Kari said.
Dharak then appeared floating beside Jaden while still in Ball form. "Hmmph, don't compare me to those weaklings," Dharak said.
"Who are you calling a weakling?" Gatomon hissed, many of the Digimon took offense to that.
"Dharak." Dragon scolded. "I apologize he's very prideful but his power is immense."
"I see no trouble with someone flaunting their abilities," Xeno smirked. "If you have the power, why not make it known that you are powerful,"
"Let's just say the power that he displayed against MetalGreymon X and Leviamon wasn't his full power back then." Dragon explained, shocking everyone.
"When this is over you're going to tell me everything," Nobu said, just because he saved the younger kids, and is going to help them save Agumon, doesn't mean he trusted him especially with a creature that was able to deal with an X Evolution Digimon and a Demon Lord same the same time.
Dragon just nodded as they continued to their destination, unknown they were being watched.
"So he's the human that had given off that abnormal dark energy," Barbamon said in intrigued.
"He dares talk to me, and insult me," Leviamon growled.
"I say I should go kill him," Daemon said balling his fist.
Lucemon remained silent, his eyes closed before he opened them. "No, I'll take care of this, it's about time I made myself known," the other demon lords with the exception of Belphamon were surprised to hear that. "I'll be taking MetalGreymon X along with me," he said as vanished through a dark door.
"Well, I say this'll be fun to watch," Lilithmon smirked.
The team, along with Dragon, continued through the desert. It seemed like hours for them as they traversed through the dry landscape, however, Xeno and Impmon stayed ahead of the group not wanting to be near anyone.
"Man it's hot here," Davis said wiping the sweat off his forehead. "You sure Agumon is out here Nobu?"
"I'm sure of it, but of course, it could be another ploy like last time," Nobu answered.
"I don't care how hot it is, I'm going to save Agumon no matter what," Tai stated.
"I do, this heat is not really good for my hair," Yolei complained.
"If you can't stand the heat of the kitchen, woman," Xeno called back.
"He has a point, time is of the essence." Dragon said.
"It's weird how you are agreeing with that lost cause," Matt said his arms crossed.
"Well I do agree that he's a lost cause, Complaining about our current situation will just make it worse." Dragon said with wisdom
"Your right about that," Nobu agreed.
"Hey, guys look over there!" Xeno who had stopped at a cliff called it some sort of fortress. "Think that's where Agumon is?"
"I know that fortress, it's an old stronghold abandoned by Barbamon long ago," Impmon said.
Xeno took out his binoculars and look them over, he saw Digimon patrolling the walls and saw turrets. "It's not abandoned anymore, flying won't be a good idea, so I suggest we go on foot,"
"Why should we follow what you say?" TK said glaring at Xeno.
"Because it's the obvious choice T-Fink, you and magic horse want to get blasted out of the sky than be my guess," Xeno countered.
"Maybe for any of you." Dharak countered Xeno. "But not for me."
"I think Xeno is right, we can't just go in fists blazing no matter how strong anyone is you shouldn't be overconfident in your own power," Cody said.
"Actually, I agree with Dharak, while he and I distract them you seize the moment and enter the fortress." Dragon said. before turning to Dharak. "Ready?"
"Ready," Dharak said as he landed in Dragon's hand.
"Bakugan…Brawl." Dragon shouted as he threw Dharak. "Stand Darkus Dharak!"
Dharak then opened up while in mid-throw before glowing brightly and in a flash of light, assumed his true form. "Rrrraaaggh." Dharak roared
Dragon began pressing buttons on his Bakumeter. "Ready: AirKor", the Bakumeter reported.
"Battle Gear Boost!", Dragon shouted, throwing the Battle Gear at Dharak. When the device connected, a bright purple flash resulted.
When the light subsided, Dharak had equipped his Battle Gear. Two wings made from golden diamonds replaced Dharak's natural wings. A metal attachment between the wings rose high. Another golden diamond was on Dharak's chest, connecting the two wings. Green armor was on Dharak's short limbs.
"Now Dharak, launched first wave," Dragon ordered
"Right." Dharak grinned as he began firing energy waves from his new weaponry at the fortress.
The attacks began to hit the walls, creating a massive explosion, shocking everyone by the amount of damage to the fortress.
Soon the Digimon in the Fortress returned fire at Dharak, who shook off their retaliation as he continued to attack.
"Well, it's almost like watching a movie," Yolei commented, continuing to watch the battle.
"Are you some kind of tyrant ruler or something in your world?" Xeno asked.
"Now why do you ask that?" Dragon asked.
"No reason," Xeno dismissed. "Come on Impmon, let's storm a castle," he said. Impmon nodded as they both jumped off the cliff, surprising most of the team, as Devimon appeared carrying Xeno to the fortress.
"Ohhh, he thinks he's sooo cool," Yolei rolled her eyes.
"We can't let him go alone, let's go!" Davis said. Everyone nodded in agreement,
While Nobu looked at Dragon and thought about what Xeno had said. 'it seems Xeno has figured it out as well,' as he reloaded his Greymon and Mailbirdramon. "It's time to Digifuse," Nobu told his partners.
"Greymon and Mailbirdramon! Digifuse!" Nobu shouted.
"Metalgreymon!"
"Sora, I should have given you this before, but better late than never," Nobu said, holding up his fusion loader to Biyomon as a blue sphere with a red x appeared. "You ready?"
Biyomon gave a firm nod. "Anything to save Agumon," as she absorbed the X antibody, as she did Biyomon began to Digivolve into a new X Antibody form, everyone looked in awe at her new form, Biyomon's feathers were now orange similar to Birdramon while having pink on the ends, her tail feather had extended to about 5 ft along the ground, her beak was slightly long and was now curved and sharp on the end, the nail on her feat we now black and curves.
"Biyomon X!" the newly Digivolved Digimon exclaimed, flexing her wings powerfully.
"Biyomon you look beautiful," Sora said in awe at her partner's new look.
"Like the new feathers, also the beak and claw making you look like a raptor," Yolei said.
"We'll comment about her new change later, we need to move," Nobu said.
"There right Sora, we need to go," Biyomon X told her partner.
Sora nodded as her Digivice began to glow, Biyomon X began to Digivolve.
"Biyomon X Digivolve to… Birdramon X." Birdramon X was different from her regular form, its feathers were a dark yellow in the center of its body while the feathers on its wings were dark red, but now it had 9 long-tail blue feathers like whips with blades on ends.
"Now that is a bird of prey," Cody commented,
"Now let's go save Agumon," Kari said, not wanting to wait any longer.
The others nodded in agreement, as most of their digivices began to glow.
"Gabumon X Digivolve to… Garurumon X!"
"Veemon Armor Digivolve to… Flamedramon the fires of Courage!"
"Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to… Halsamon Wings of Love!"
"Armadillomon Armor Digivolve to… Digmon the Drill of Power!"
"Gatomon Armor digivolve to… Nefertimon the Angel of Light!"
"Patamon Armor digivolve to.. Pegasusmon Flying Hope!"
"Alright let's go!" Davis called out.
With that, the Digidesided began to make their way towards the fortress, while Dragon just watched from where he was. "Good luck kids, make your teacher proud," Dragon muttered as he smiled.
At that time Lucemon was watching from a distance intrigued by the level of power. Dharak giving off, not just him but Dragon as well. "Hmm, first I should make myself known to the so-called chosen ones," he smirked as he turned to MetalGreymon X who was waiting for his order to attack.
As the team made their way toward the fortress, they saw Xeno and Devimon battling some ground forces consisting of Tankmon led by the NeoDevimon from earlier who had punched their Devimon to the ground. with a thud.
"Gaah!" Devimon grunted.
"You're still weak," NeoDevimon stated as he brandished his claws.
"Tch, do you ever shut up." Devimon countered.
NeoDevimon tilted his head in confusion. "I'm not the one who keeps on talking, am I? I'm simply stating a fact, Talking just proves your weakness in battle." NeoDevimon countered back in a monotone voice.
"At least I'm not a slave to the demon lords anymore, you and many others are just playthings to them, and I should know I did kill alot of you as Beelzemon," Devimon smirked.
NeoDevimon again just scratched his head in confusion. "It's survival of the fittest, so who really cares." Neo Devimon replied back before swinging his arm, creating a shockwave that knocked Devimon back. "If I were to die then so be it."
"Then try this Neo Loser!" Xeno called out as he fired a bullet at Neo Devimon who caught it without much problem.
NeoDevimon just swings his arm again, creating a shockwave deflecting the bullet as well as sending Xeno back to the wall.
Xeno got back up and spat. "Is that really all you got?" he asked as Devimon got back to his feet ready to continue battling.
"Very well then I'll enlighten you," Neodevimon said as he began to glow with power forcing Devimon on his knees.
"Grr!" Devimon grunted as he felt the full force of Neodevimon's power pushing him down.
NeoDevimon then suddenly remembered his orders that under any circumstances should he never digivolve to his Mega form, the glow started to fade away, allowing Devimon to stand back up.
"He didn't digivolve…" Devimon stated.
"I just remembered now, under any circumstances, Am I not allowed to digivolve to my Mega form," Neodevimon explained. "Today your lucky day," he said before leaving
"Well, we should count ourselves lucky…" Xeno admitted, he wouldn't admit it out loud but he and Devimon wouldn't have survived if NeoDevimon did go all out.
"Xeno!" Davis called out as he and others arrived. "Are you really that stupid to just come here?"
Xeno just scoffed. "Stupid? No, I just don't need you, that's all," he dismissed.
"Well judging by the damage Devimon has sustained you handled yourself just fine," Nobu said sarcastically.
"You need to stop going off on your own kid, you'll get killed," Matt scolded.
"Yeah, you to start using your head Xeni," Kari added while Xeno glared at Kari.
"Well… Well… Well, are we having a misunderstanding on your team,": a voice called out shocking Nobu and Devimon, as in a veil of Darkness Lucemon had appeared.
"Lucemon!" Nobu shouted.
"Long time Nobu, it seems you are still as foolish as ever," Lucemon mocked, before turning to Devimon. "And you, a former comrade turned Traitor working alongside the enemy, not only that 2 of the 3 chosen ones," he said looking at Davis who glared at him while Kari had a worried expression on her face.
"2 of the 3? Does he mean the crests of Miracles, Light and Darkness?" TK questioned.
"What do you mean?" Nobu questioned, he didn't understand he had the crest of darkness so he was one of the 3 chosen ones as he was just playing mind games.
"It matters, now I know you came to save your friend, so you can have him back," Lucemon snapped his fingers in a veil of darkness, MetalGreymon X appeared and roared. "Have fun, I have other matters to attend to," he said before he took to the sky.
"MetalGreymon X it's me, Tai, you got to break free!" Tai yelled trying to get through to his partner, how it fell on deaf ears as MetalGreymon X prepared his rail gun, as it began to charge.
"Move!" Jun yelled as everyone quickly moved out of the way before MetalGreymon X fired his attack which destroyed a good section of the fortress as the force sent everyone flying. Except for Birdramon X and Nobu's MetalGreymon who began to clash with MetalGreymon X.
"Grr… Snap out of it you fool!" MetalGreymon roared as he and MetalGreymon X smashed their metal claws against each other.
Meanwhile, Dharak had just finished off the rest of the fortress defenses. "As entertaining as that was, Is there anyone who could give me a challenge?" Dharak roared.
"I'll take up your challenge," Lucemon said as he floated before Dharak. "You are no Digimon, I can tell as much. What are you?"
"None of your business, I hope you'll be a decent challenge," Dharak growled.
Lucemon visibly showed anger, not since Drasil, the Royal Knights or Nobu has he been insulted like this. "Not often do I get insulted, you will learn your place," the Demon Lord said while glaring,
"Me learn my place?" Dharak asked. "It will be you who would learn your place." he counters as he opened his maw and launched an orb of black energy at Lucemon
The Demon Lord Barely dodged the attack before countering. "Terrible Dance!" Lucemon shouted as he delivered a roundhouse kick to Dharak's head, but was shocked to see it didn't do any damage to him
"That's all you got?" Dharak snarled. "That barely tickles." before his horns started discharging black lightning at Lucemon
Lucemon was then shot down by the electrical attack, the Demon Lord was able to recover from the fall as he got his bearings straight, he glared at Dharak. 'How? This creature is making me look like an in-training Digimon, no I will not be looked down upon!' Lucemon thought in rage.
Meanwhile, Dragon was watching the battle from afar. "Dharak could handle Lucemon, I better make sure that the kids are alright." Dragon thought as he went ahead.
MetalGreymon was pushed back by MetalGreymon X, however, MetalGreymon X was now wrapped in Birdramon X's Tail feathers, the X Ultimate Digimon Began to struggle as Birdramon X tried to hang on.
"Hit him with everything you got! I can't hold him for long!" Birdramon X called out.
"But what if we destroy him?" Davis said in an uncertain tone, some of the other DigiDestined had the same fear.
"If you all are too scared to attack then we'll take over, Devimon full power," Xeno told his partner.
"With pleasure," Devimon smirked, as he gather all his power into his hand. "Death Hand!" as he fired all of his energy at MetalGreymon X as the attack hit Birdamon X flew away leaving only smoke in its wake, however, Devimon was breathing heavily from the overuse of power. "No hard feelings dinoboy," however a blast came from the smoke and it hit Devimon square in the chest, sending him flying into the wall forcing him to de-digivolve back into Impmon.
"Impmon!" Xeno shouted running over to his fallen partner. "Are you ok? Open your eyes," he said holding him in his arms, Impmon opened his eyes and smirked.
"We're not going to kiss are we?" Impmon jokes
Everyone looked at both of them for a minute before turning back to the smoke as it cleared MetalGreymon X stood tall, no damage whatsoever.
"Not even a scratch," Yolei commented.
"Tempest Wing!" Halsamon shouted as he turned into a white tornado.
"Gold Rush!" Digmon shouted firing his drills at the X Evolved Digmon.
The attacks had hit their mark, but MetalGreymon X shrugged off the attacks "Giga Destroyer!" he roared as he fired two missiles from his chest at both armor Digimon.
"Meteor Wing!" Birdramon X shouted as she flexed her wings before shooting fireballs from it.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon X shouted, firing blue flames.
Both attacks hit, the missiles causing them to explode creating a huge shock wave. Sending the DigiDestined along with a few of the Digimon back. Taking advantage of the confusion Neritimon and Pegasusmon flew in.
"Golden Noose!" both shouted as they flew around MetalGreymon X creating a golden rope of energy ensnaring him as he struggled to break free.
Meanwhile, Dharak was still battling Lucemon who was starting to pant hard. "Is that all you got?" Dharak asked.
"Fool, no one talks to me like that, it's time I showed you my ultimate attack!" Lucemon shouted in rage. As he held his left hand in the air, a three-dimensional circle formed above him. "Dead or Alive!" as he pushed his hand forward as the circle took form around Dharak. "This attack is a combination of holiness and evilness, you have 50% of being killed and 50% of being severely injured want to try your luck?"
"Interesting," Dharak said. "How about neither." Dharak then released even more of his power, the intense energy that Dharak was releasing allowed him to break free of the Magical circle that confined him, shocking Lucemon. "I guess my power is much superior to yours then." Dharak stated
"Tch," Lucemon scoffed, he had too much pride to admit it, but even he knew when it was time to retreat, he had seen enough. "Next time you will die," Lucemon said before he vanished.
"Coward, had no guts to continue the fight?" Dharak growled. "Might as well go see how Dragon and the Brats are doing," he said as he flew towards the facility.
At that time the battle between the Digidestined and their mind-controlled friend was intensifying, it seemed no matter how hard they tried they couldn't bring MetalGreymon X down without seriously hurting him.
"Nobu, we can't hold back any longer. He'll kill all of us if we don't go all out," MetalGreymon told his partner, as he fired his Giga Blaster at MetalGreymon X, who countered with his own attacks creating an explosion.
Nobu was conflicted he knew that they needed to stop MetalGreymon X for good, but it would result in his destruction he then looked toward who he could tell was feeling the same way as well as the others, "Tai… he's your partner it's your call,"
Tai looked at Nobu before looking at MetalGreymon X who had swiped at Flamedramon who backflipped away then countered with his Fire Rocket but the X Evolution Digimon just brushed the attack aside. "I… Would rather have Agumon destroyed than be made a slave to the Demon Lords, and I'm sure Agumon would feel the same way," the surprised most of the Digidestined mostly the second team including Sora, but Matt and Nobu understood.
"No! We can't do that, there has to be another way!" Davis shouted in anger, not believing what Tai had just said. "Agumon's your partner Tai, and you're ok with destroying him just like that?"
"If you have a much better idea then say it." Dragon scolded.
"He's right, Davis, we've run out of options, Agumon would understand," Tai said, biting his lip.
"No! Agumon's our friend and to just destroy him is like turning our backs on him," Davis said firmly.
"Turning your backs on our friends?" Dragon muttered, remembering back during New Vestroia when the Resistance fought bravely and furiously to free the Bakugan. "You don't even know the meaning of those words child." Dragon snarled
MetalGreymon X roared as he fired his railgun and it hit MetalGreymon who braced himself against the impact of the attack.
"Davis, we can't just let him keep going like this, we need to stop him now," Jun said in a serious tone.
Seasarmon had charged forward as her claws began to glow yellow. "Divine Claws!: as she slashed MetalGreymon X's chest but it didn't do much damage.
"Energy Blitz." MetalGreymon X Roared as his Railgun (Blast mode) took on a new shape similar to a lance or a piledriver (Blitz Mode) before he rushed at Seasarmon piercing her and at the same time Birdramon X, causing time to Dedigivolve back to their rookie forms.
"Larbamon/Biyomon!" Jun and Sora shouted as they rushed over to their respective partners.
"Are you ok?" Sora asked Biyomon.
"I failed to save him," Biyomon said in shame, she couldn't save Agumon.
"I'm sorry Jun, I can't fight any more," Larbamon said.
"It's ok you did your best," Jun said reassuringly as she pet Larbamon's head.
"Did you know he could do that Nobu?" Tai asked in surprise.
"It's not impossible, but this has made things more difficult," Nobu answered.
"We can't let this go on anymore, Garurumon X, it's time to Digivolve!" Matt called out.
"Right," Garurumon X nodded.
Matt's Digivice glowed blue as Garurumon X began to Digivolve. "Garurumon X digivolve to… Weregarurumon X!"
Weregarurumon X looked slightly different than before he still looked the same as before except now he has metal armor on his body, as well as metal clawed gauntlets. The newly Digivolved Digimon left everyone in awe.
"Ok, that is sick," Xeno admitted.
"Has nothing on my forms," Impmon said, crossing his arms.
"This coming from an Ex-Demon Lord who couldn't even Digivolve to the Ultimate level yet." Dragon mocked.
"At least my name is more creative than yours, seriously what kind of human names themselves Dragon of all things?" Impmon countered.
Dragon just glared at Impmon "Don't test my patience." Dragon countered back.
Weregarurumon X wasted no time and rushed towards MetalGreymon X who shifted his arm into Blitz mode before he could attack, Halsamon and Digmon attacked from behind.
"Tempest Wave!" Halsamon shouted, firing red eye beams.
"Gold Rush!" Digmon shouted, thrusting his drills into the ground creating a fissure.
The fissure caused MetalGreymon X to lose his balance as Halsamon's hit him in the back but it did nothing but Weregarurumon X attacked now.
"Garuru Kick!" Weregarurumon X shouted as he delivered a powerful kick to MetalGreymon X's chest.
MetalGreymon X was pushed back slightly but was still standing tall, "Giga Storm" he roared firing lasers that hit Flamedramon causing him to revert back to Veemon
"Veemon!" Davis shouted as rushed over to his partner. "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine Davis, hehehe," Veemon laughed nervously.
At that point, MetalGreymon X then roared as his arm switched to Blast mode and he aimed the railgun at the opposition. "Pandemic Destroyer!" He roared as he fired a stream of viral energy from the railgun.
Dragon clicked his tongue in fury as he activated his powers and jumped in front of everyone, shocking everyone, while at the same time, he dons armor that had a dragon motif and was very similar to Dharak.
Dragon took the full force of the attack, as it collided with him creating a huge explosion forcing everyone to cover their eyes from the force of the blast, all they saw was smoke as it cleared Dragon was moderately injured with pieces of his armor broken with the exception of his helmet that was completely destroyed, the face was revealed shocking the DigiDestined with the exception of Nobu and Xeno who just gritted his teeth,
"Mr. Yuki…" Kari uttered in shock.
"So your Dragon," Davis said.
"Of course he is, it isn't that hard to figure out," Xeno told them.
"So..when did both of you figure it out?" Jaden asked
"We'll tell you later, right now we need to stop MetalGreymon X," Nobu said, turning their attention to Metalgreymon X who looked ready to attack again.
"You kids better end him fast, cause I won't be able to save you again," Jaden told him.
Davis clenched his fist, the words 'end him' were not good. He didn't want to kill MetalGreymon, he didn't want to let his team get hurt either he was conflicted on what to do. "i-I still think there's another way…" he said.
"Motomiya, where's that fighting spirit you always have? Stop whining and fight!" Xeno shouted at Davis.
"He's our friend, and I don't want to hurt him, I don't," Davis said, gritting his teeth.
"If I wasn't injured, I would stab you with my hand for your naive outlook right now child." Jaden roared with fury, quickly losing his patience with Davis.
Davis looked at Jaden confused. "Naive? I want to stop him, but I'm afraid of killing him," he had no trouble fighting his friends, Xeno and Sai were the prime examples but he couldn't kill anyone.
"Kid I knew someone who had his partner stolen him, and he was then forced to fight his partner with a heavy heart, however unlike you, he had the heart to fight against his partner in order to free him even if it meant killing him cause he would rather have his partner freed even in death, sometimes you need to fight your friends in order to help save them from themselves, so what are you going to do just let him kill everyone he loves or are you going to free him brat!
Jaden's words hit deep, Davis began to think his mind was going to Xeno who many called a lost cause, he and Xeno had fought countless times but they were friends regardless of what he said and he was always willing to hurt Xeno if he went too far. 'Jaden's right, I can't let Metalgreymon X be controlled anymore, I will stop him cause I'm his friend!'
Suddenly the ground began to glow dark blue, surprising everyone as a blue orb appeared out of the ground inside was a black shoe with a yellow spike in it.
"Nobu is that?" MetalGreymon asked.
"Yes… the Digi Egg of Friendship." Nobu smirked.
"Which means that Veemon can become more powerful," Cody said.
Davis grabbed the Digi Egg he then felt a surge of power going through him for a second before he smirked. "Ready for round two Veemon?"
"Right!" Veemon smirked.
"Digi Armor Energize!" Davis shouted.
"Veemon Armor Digivolve to… Raidramon the Storm of Friendship!"
As the light faded in Veemon's place was a quadrupedal creature with blue skin that looked like a grown version of Veemon. It wears armor on its face, torso, shoulders and thighs, It has a spike protruding from its mask and lightning-shaped spikes from its back. The armor is black with a yellow and black band running down its sides, red headlights on its shoulders and metal pads on its thighs. The forehead spike and the armor's black coloration are references to the Digi-Egg of Friendship.
"Woah!" Davis gasped.
"Looking good Veemon," Jun complimented.
"Hop on Davis," Raidramon said, Davis nodded as he hopped onto Raidramon's back,
MetalGreymon X wasted no time and went on the offensive. "Giga Storm!" he roared, firing lasers from his chest port at both Raidramon and Weregarurumon X, however suddenly a blast of dark energy shot them down.
"Always fashionably late huh?" Jaden asked but was inwardly smirking "So, how did it feel to stretch your wings after awhile?"
"I was hoping for more of a battle, but Lucemon was a complete disappointment," Dharak huffed. "I see you have revealed yourself to them."
"Not voluntarily," Jaden admitted.
'He was able to beat Lucemon?' Nobu thought to himself in shock.
'Just what are these 2? Lucemon is one of the most powerful Digimon even the Royal Knight have had trouble beating him, but they beat him as if he was an amatuer,' Impmon thought, wondering just how strong they were.
"Thunderbolt!" Raidramon roared as he fired a bolt of lightning from his mouth and it hit MetalGreymon X in the chest leaving only a scratch but the X evolution shrugged it off, as he retaliated.
"Giga Storm!" MetalGreymon X shouted as he fired his energy blasts at Raidramon who used his swift speed to dodge them, while Davis held on for dear life.
"Woah! This is like a roller coaster!" Davis smirked, enjoying the bumpy ride.
"Wolf Claw!" Weregarurumon X yelled as his claws were covered in every before he slashed at MetalGreymon X who blocked the attack with his mechanical limb.
"At this rate it'll never end, we need to stop him for good," Matt said.
"Wait, we're fighting the wrong thing." Xeno told them. "Soundbirdmon is controlling him, we just need to find it and destroy it,"
"He's right, right now is the perfect chance to destroy Soundbirdmon." Nobu stated.
"Right, it shouldn't be too far away," Davis said, remembering what Nobu said about needing to stay within a certain range for it to control other digimon. "Let's go Raidramon!"
Raidramon nodded as he leaped onto the walkway of the walls, as they began to look around for Soundbirdmon, while Neferitmon, Pegasusmon and Halsamon took to the sky to do the same. While WereGarurumon X, Nobu's MetalGreymon Digmon and Dharak kept MetalGreymon X busy.
MetalGreymon X than Disengage from both Metalgreymon and Weregarurumon X and fired its Giga Destroyer Attack right towards the flyers, the shockwaves from the missiles impact cause, Pegasusmon, Nefetimon, and Halsamon to all revert back to their rookie forms or champion form in Gatomon's case
"No! They're falling!" TK shouted in fear.
"Gatomon!" Kari shouted.
"Hawkmon!" Yolei exclaimed.
"They won't survive a fall like that," Impmon said.
Jaden then held up an amulet. "Lend us your strength, Metagolem!"
The amulet began glowing as the same majestic armored golem that protected the Digidestined appeared again.
"Metagolem, quickly go save them before they hit the ground." Jaden ordered.
Metagolem nodded as he jumped and grabbed all of the falling digimon while in mid-air before landing on the ground. TK, Kari and Yolei rushed over to Metagolem who gently placed the digimon on the ground.
"Patamon! Are you ok?" TK asked desperately as his partner looked at him.
"I'm fine, TK…" Patamon said softly.
"Gatomon…" Kari uttered in worry.
"I think I just lost one of my nine lives," Gatomon said.
"Hawkmon…" Yolei cried as she held her partner in a tight hug, that had almost completely cut off his breathing.
"I'm.. I'm fine, Yolei, but can you please let go," Hawkmon begged.
Davis looked back at them before looking back above, he didn't see anything but clouds passing by. He squinted his eyes at some of them and then made out a faint silhouette. "It's there! It's hiding in the clouds!" Davis said, pointing at the sky.
Jaden nodded. "Dharak! Flush it out!" he told his partner.
Dharak then fired some bolts of dark lightning from his two horns, the lightning traveled towards the clouds however the Soundbirdmon emerged from it's cloud cover barely dodging Dharak's attack.
"There it is," Cody said.
"Alright Raidramon! It's time!" Davis called out.
Raidramon leaped into the air. "Lightning Blade!" Raidramon shouted, firing an electrical blade from the spike on his head, however Soundbirdmon had evaded again.
"That thing just keeps dodging," Tai said in frustration.
MetalGreymon X turned his attention to Davis and Raidramon and on Soundbirdmon's command he prepared to attack them but was stopped when Dharak smashed into him knocking the X Evolved Digimon to the ground before pinning him down with his claw keeping MetalGreymon X from getting back up.
"Hurry, you and finish that thing you brats," Dharak yelled at Davis, it was taking alot of will not to end MetalGreymon X who was struggling to break free from Dharak's claws.
Raidramon began to run, building up enough speed before taking a giant leap into the air towards Soundbirdmon for one final attack. "Blue Thunder!" The armor digimon roared firing 3 lightning bolts from the protrusions on his back Soundbirdmon how this time had to time to dodge as Raidramon's attack hit it dead on instantly destroying it.
"Got it!" Davis cheered.
MetalGreymon X stopped struggling, he De digivolved back into Agumon, seeing him back in his rookie form, Dharak lifted his claw off him and stepped back.
Agumon opened his eyes and was confused. "where am I? What happened?"
"Agumon!" Tai shouted as he rushed towards his partner and hugged him tight. "I glad your back to normal buddy, I was worried I would lose you,"
Agumon hugged Tai back and smiled, :"Tai, I'm sorry I had no control over myself. It's all my fault this happened."
"Don't blame yourself Agumon, it was the Demon Lords that forced you to fight," Nobu told him.
"He's right, the important thing is that you're back to normal." Jaden said.
"Agumon!" Biyomon shouted as she flew over and hugged him. "I'm so glad you are ok!"
Agumon smiled and hugged her back. "I'm going anywhere Biyomon, I promise you that,"
"Enough of these feelings, we should leave for home," Dharak said ruining the moment.
"Dharak's right, relatively speaking." Jaden said, before donning an evil smirk. "Don't forget your grades are still done by me, for most of you.", scaring most of the children that were part of his class.
"Tch, as if," Xeno dismissed as he and Impmon began to walk away. "I'll see you all later," However Nobu grabbed Xeno's shoulder and stopped him from leaving.
"Hang on, Xeni," Nobu told Xeno before turning his attention to Jaden. "You still owe us an explanation, who are you really? And what are these creatures you call upon, they are clearly not Digimon seeing at how easily Dharak was able to deal with Lucemon like he was nothing?"
"Technically I didn't defeat Lucemon, He just fled like the gutless coward that he is." Dharak said, shocking Everyone, Nobu and Impmon especially.
"Even if you didn't, not many can make Lucemon flee from battle," Impmon thought to himself "Not even the royals could do that,"
Dharak grinned. "Well considering that I broke through his so-called Dead or Alive attack with no scratch on me the moment that I released a fraction of my full power, if that was the best he got then I'm not too worried." Dharak commented.
Hearing that Dharak even broke through Lucemon's Ultimate Sacrifice attack aka Dead or Alive shocked both Nobu and Impmon even more a that move had a 50% of being killed or being severely injured and Dharak avoided both those fates by breaking out of the attack, a feat thought impossible by many just by releasing his power.
'It's impossible for anyone to break free from Lucemon's Dead or Alive attack,' Nobu thought in shock, never in a million years he would meet a being able to break one of the most deadly abilities.
"Is it not too obvious," Xeno spoke up his hands in his coat pocket, getting everyone's attention. "These two are not from our world,"
"How long have you known?" Jaden demanded Xeno.
"It's easy one you read between the line, the class about the multiverse, the fact that Dharak and MetaGolem are not found in the digital record, as well as Jaden Yuki knowing I had a partner when only Dragon saw Impmon before, the conclusion your are from an alternate earth where there are creatures stronger than the digimon and the fact that there is no Jaden Yuki known in our world," Xeno finished explaining.
"I'm impressed, now if only you act more like the Xeno I know whose memory your disprecting I'll be impressed." Jaden said.
"My father or is there another Xeno in your world?" Xeno questioned.
"Who do you think?" Jaden asked.
"Tch," Xeno scoffed, knowing Jaden was talking about his father, deep down he knew his father would be ashamed of what he had been doing. "How did you enter our world?
"Just a mere accident, nothing more." Jaden answered. "I know I needed information on this world before the others realized that I was missing."
Nobu then realized something "That's when you beat down both Xeno and my brother Sai and his gang didn't you?"
"Yeah, I was just passing through. I wanted no part in their petty brawls and just wanted directions and some information and well you know what happened." Jaden said
"Xeni and Sai were rude and shoved you off?" Kari sighed.
"Basically speaking." Jaden said.
"And let me guess Xeno, tried to shoot you?" Davis asked nervously.
"He did, but my reaction speed is way quicker." Jaden replied. "I could even react to a sniper."
"How very sharp of you…" Xeno muttered.
"That reminds me." Jaden said, before turning to Nobu. "How did you figure out I was Dragon?"
"Like Xeno, said you as Jaden Yuki somehow knew he had a partner but had never been to the digital world, Dragon however did meet the second team, and knew about their partners, and your voices are also the same. So it is quite obvious that Dragon and Jaden are one and the same," Nobu said.
"Seriously though why Dragon?" Yolei asked out of curiosity.
"It's a symbol of fear and power." Jaden said. "As well as my greatest mistake ever."
"Greatest Mistake?" Sora asked.
"I'd rather not talk about it now, we should all head back home," Jaden said "I'll tell you tomorrow, if any of your friends would want to hear it feel free to bring them, I'll see what I could do to help." as he prepared to leave on Dharak.
"Thank you Jaden," Davis called out. "Thanks for helping me gain the strength to save Agumon.
"Jaden just looked down and smiled. "Your welcome.", Jaden then turned his eyes towards Xeno. "Oh and Xeno the Xeno that I was talking about who lived in my world wasn't your father, it was you, with the way you're living, you're disrespecting his death."
Xeno's eyes widened, 'his death? The other me died in Jaden's world?' he thought in shock, everyone else looked at him also shocked by what Jaden said.
"You ok Xeno?" Yolei asked him in concern.
"I… I don't know," Xeno replied before turning his heels. "It's time to go home, Impmon," he said as he and his partner walked past the others but stopped at TK. "Oh TK," he said, surprising TK that he got his name right, before Xeno punched him in the face sending him down to the ground, shocking the other digidestined. "Now we are even, for the soccer ball and for today," he told the child of hope before he and Impmon left the facility.
"That bastard!" Matt seethed as he help TK up. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah…" TK grumbled rubbing his face.
"Let it go, I'll tell his mom when we get back," Nobu told TK.
TK nodded before they made their way back to the human world for they deserved rest.
At that time Lucemon had returned the meeting with most of the Demon Lords just looked at him.
"Heh, it seems like you had a rough fight Lucemon," Lilithmon chuckled.
Lucemon just smirked which surprised them they figured he would be beyond enraged at being defeated so easily.
"Is something wrong Lucemon? Are you angry about being forced to run?" Barbramon asked.
"Nothing is wrong, sometimes defeat often yields the greatest results," Lucemon smirked as an orb of data appeared in his hand, it would seem during the battle Lucemon was copying Dharak's battle data, he had thought 10 paces ahead of Dharak and gather his data,. "The power to make an invincible army is now in the palm of our hands, hahahahahahah!"
Meanwhile Ken was going over the Data he had recovered from watching the battle between the Digidestined and Demon Lords, the Data From both Dharak and Lucemon would further into his project.
'The power of the X Evolution Digimon, the Demon Lords, and this Dharak, this will help me realize my dream of creating the ultimate Digimon, and along with the new Dark Spiral, I'll be able to control any digimon no matter what level it is.' Ken thought he would finally rule the digital world, and finally put an end to the Digidestined, especially those three fools, images of Davis, Kari and Xeno appearing on the screen.
Wormmon only looks on in nervousness. 'Oh Ken…' Wormmon thought knowing what his partner was doing was wrong and might end up killing many along with himself.
Meanwhile back in the Human world, after that ordeal, everyone was tired and went back home to rest. At that time, an airplane had landed and not long after a pink haired girl wearing a red white and blue shirt with a white star in the middle wearing white cowgirl boots got off the plane, it was Mimi the Digidestined of Sincerity.
"It's been so long since I've been to Japan. I hope everything hasn't changed since I've moved to New York," Mimi smiled, she had come back to help with the Digimon Emperor and from what Izzy told her the Demon Lords too.
The next day after school all the digidestined, including Mimi and Joe had met in the park so Jaden could tell them everything.
"Is everyone here?" Jaden asked.
"Yep, including Xeni,: Nobu said.
"Don't call me that!" Xeno shouted as he leaned against a tree, he had a few bumps and bruises on his head and face, Nobu had told his mom about him hitting TK and she basically kick his ass for it.
"Jaden, can you start at the beginning?" Izzy asked intrigued since he was talking to someone who came from another universe proving the multiverse theory was indeed real. "How did you come to our world?"
"Me and Dharak were caught in a dimensional tear in reality, a space in between worlds, however a random energy beam came out of nowhere and we both ended up falling into a portal that landed us here," Jaden explained.
"That explains how you got to our world," Izzy said. "But why get a job at the school?"
"Mostly because Nobu and the others appeared in the alley not long after I took Xeno and Sai out, I figured being a school teacher would help keep a low profile, at the end of the day I overheard you all talking about Agumon, you kids should really keep a lookout for anyone who might be listening in," Jaden said.
The digidestined chuckled nervously knowing Jaden had a point there.
"So what's it like in your world?" Joe asked out of curiosity.
Jaden sighed. "Well, it's much like yours but more advanced, but before I tell you more about it, let's talk about it somewhere else."
"We can go to my house, and don't worry my mom knows about the Digimon and she can keep a secret," Nobu said.
"That's good." Jaden said
Eventually they finally reached Nobu's home, everyone was in the living room along with Sakura and Hakura, Sai was in his bedroom not wanting to be around Jaden, he was still mad about Jaden beating him and his gang.
"The multiverse is real? To think I'm talking to someone from another universe," Sakura said as she poured Jaden a cup of tea.
"Thanks for the cup of tea madame." Jaden said.
"You're welcome," Sakura smirked.
"I'm just glad to be out in the fresh air, honestly being stuck in a pocket in this deadbeat dimension is not welcome at all." Dharak snarled.
"That's not very nice," Mimi said.
"Excuse Dharak's behavior." Jaden said before he turned serious "Well then what do you want to know?"

Davis stood soaking wet in the rain sadly staring in the sky. As Kari was in her room window as she sadly watched the heavy rains continue to fall. Davis was now walking, his hair covering his eyes as memories of his friends and their Digimon appeared behind him smiling as he continued to aimlessly walk, Kari was now outside soaking wet, as she walked down the sidewalk she remembered her time with Davis as kids. Xeno was in his home with a sorrowful expression as a dark void showing his father's death and his younger self crying in pain, as his scared eye closed. Davis walked past a window that showed a reflection of himself as a kid playing with Kari, both smiling and laughing. Yolei and Cody at her house watching the rain fall. Kari now passed a park and saw a swing, she then saw a younger Davis pushing her younger self high on the swing before it faded, making her sigh as she continued to walk. TK was laid on his bed, as the memory of Angemon's sacrifice still haunted him, before he closed his eyes and fell into slumber. Ken sat in his chair typing on his computer, before looking out the window as his shadow took the shape of the Digimon Emperor. Davis stopped as he realized he was in front of his old school, as an image of him and Kari were walking home from school before they faded from sight. Meanwhile at Nobu's house, he was practicing kendo with his younger brother Sai, while his mother Sakura was treating a patient in her office, and his sister Haruka was lounging in the house while it rained outside. Davis stopped at a sidewalk, he look up and saw Kari standing across the street, both digidestined eyes widen as they both walked to each other and smiled looking into each others eyes as they slowed leaned in as the rains slowly began to stop, as they kissed the clouds slowly went away as a beam of light shined on them, as their crests appeared in the sky above them.
A/N: I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I hope you all like the fight and interdiction of the Digiegg of Friendship. and Dharak's fight with Lucemon and knowing what the Demon Lords and Ken had acquired meaning things will get even tougher going forward and I'll try to get more of the anti digidestined spot like and i'm planning for Davis and Kari to use their powers in battle soon and work on their relationship going forward along with Xeno andb Yolei's and along with Xeno's attiude problems.
