Jaden and Dharak had accidentally been transported to another dimension, he had ended up meeting Xeno and Sai, and soon took up a job at the DigiDestined's school, not long after Ken had tried to take control of Greymon but failed, eventually the Demon Lords had taken controlled of Greymon X and then forcefully evolved him into MetalGreymon X and set him loose on the Digidestined. Jaden had dawned his ex persona Dragon and Dharak had saved them from death. Soon after the DigiDestined arrived to save their friend, Jaden as Dragon appeared before them and had offered to help, soon they came face to face with Lucemon along with MetalGreymon X, Dharak had overpowered Lucemon before forcing the Demon Lord of Pride to retreat. During the battle with MetalGreymon X, Jaden's identity was revealed. Davis finding the strength to fight had revealed the Digi Egg of Friendship digivolving Veemon into Raidramon and had destroyed the Soundbirdmon, freeing Agumon from the Demon Lords, and now the team was at Nobu's house with Jaden who was ready to tell them what they needed to know.
Jaden was about to tell everyone everything that he knew. "So what do all of you want to know?" Jaden asked
"What are you really?" Xeno asked as he leaned against the wall. "Even a low intelligence person can tell you aren't a regular person."
"What am I?" Jaden asked himself. "Well many call me the Supreme King," Jaden answered.
"Wait? You're a king?" Yolei asked in shock.
"In most terms, yes, but not an actual king anymore, my past life was a ruler of a world similar to your universe's digital world. Many call it the Spirit World but most call it Cray." Jaden explained. "Anymore questions?"
"Can you tell us about Dharak and Metagolem, they aren't Digimon so it's safe to say they come from your universe?" Izzy asked.
"Very well then, it's a bit of a story but sure," Jaden said. "Dharak is part of a race of creatures known as Bakugan while Metagolem is a Kaiju."
"Kaiju? Like Godzilla?" Tai asked.
"Yes, and Godzilla is very real in my world," Jaden confirmed, surprising them. "As for the Bakugan, they are different from the Kaiju and have very different laws in powers,"

"Wow, your world sounds very exciting," Davis smirked.
"Not really, it's a dangerous world," Jaden said.
"Yeah, unlike this habitat of lightweight weaklings." Dharak stated, "I could actually get a challenge in that world."
"How rude, are all your companions as 'bright' as him?" Sakura asked, not liking the tone of Dharak
Jaden thought for a moment before answering. "Well my wife's partner Bakugan was once like this before mellowing down, however, Dharak and Helios are always battle-ready," Jaden answered.
"What are the Bakugan?" Cody asked.
"Yeah, you never exactly told us what they are," Kari asked
"Well, that's a long story, but the fates of both Bakugan and Humans intertwined when my wife's grandfather Micheal had created an interdimensional teleporter, which had transported him to a world called Vestroia, long story short he got tricked by a rogue Bakugan," Jaden explained.
"Rouge bakugan?" Joe asked.
"His name was Naga, a White One," Jaden answered.
"What's a White One?" TK asked, confused.
"To first know about a White One, let me explain about the Bakugan, they are classified into Attributes," Jaden explained. "The Fire attribute Pyrus, the Light attribute Haos, the Water Attribute Aquos, the Earth Attribute Subterra, The wind attribute Ventus, the darkness attribute Darkus."
"So Dharak is a Darkus Bakugan." Izzy said.
"That's right," Jaden said. "There's also Aurelus the Golden attribute, as well as Prisma that represents all attributes."
"And these White Ones are like neutral or something?" Davis asked.
"Worse, due to a mutation during evolution, they are powerless Bakugan. Due to this Naga seized the very core of the planet." Jaden said.
"Which caused the meeting of humans and Bakugan?" Sora said.
"That was a side effect, Naga was trapped within one of the planet's two cores, namely the Silent Core, because of his attempt, The Infinity Core was forcefully fused to his twin sister," Jaden explained.
"Naga had a twin sister?" Haruka asked.
"Yeah, unlike her brother, Wavern was kind and gentle and was content with her life," Jaden said.
"Twins, that are opposite, I wonder who else is like that?" Matt asked, looking at Xeno who just huffed.
"Why were the cores called Infinity and silent?" Cody asked out of curiosity.
"The Infinity Core was the source of all positive energy, while the Silent Core was the source of all the negative energy," Jaden answered, before continuing. "Anyway, Alice's grandfather had gotten corrupted by the overflow of negative energy turning him into Hal G.
"Hal G?" Nobu arched an eyebrow, thinking that it was a weird name.
"Around that time, my wife and her friends who were still unaware of the Bakugan decided to create a game around them," Jaden said.
"Of course, kids getting their hands on otherworldly creatures then making a game out of it, that doesn't warrant world-ending possibilities…" Sakura sighed.
Jaden rolled his eyes. "Oh yeah, like your government would do anything drastic concerning the Digimon both good and bad." Jaden countered
Sakura just glared at him, she knew he was right about government however the Digimon were not seen as game pieces like the state Dharak was in. "You're right about that, however, we were never given a choice in the matter, but you would counter and say the same thing right?"
Jaden glared at Sakura before sighing. "Whatever," Jaden said.
The silence after that brief conversation was so tense that even a blade wouldn't cut through it until one of them had the courage to ask Jaden to continue his story.
"Just continue Dragon Face!" Xeno said in a flat tone.
"How dare you talk to either of us that way, you're not even worthy to breathe our air." Dharak snarled at Xeno's disrespect.
"Enough! I will not have any threats in my house! Just shut up and continue!" Sakura exclaimed with venom in her voice.
Before Dharak could respond to Sakura's threat, Jaden raise his hand stopping Dharak. "Stop Dharak, we're guests in her house," Jaden told Dharak.
"And you!" Sakura said glaring at Xeno. "keep this up and I'll tell your mother."
To Jaden's surprise, he saw Xeno actually shutter in fear as he just lowered his head. At least he knew who to really call if Xeno got too far out of hand.
"Anyway, not long after a battler by the name of Masquerade appeared and started to not only defeat other players but send them to the Doom Dimension," Jaden said.
"What's the Doom Dimension?" Izzy asked.
"The Doom Dimension is basically another dimension, all Bakugan and Kaiju fear being sent to it," Dharak spoke up. "It's said that there's no escape once you're sent to the Doom Dimension."
"But my wife's friends proved that wrong, you see during a battle between Dan and Masquerade, Drago Dan's partner was sent into the Doom Dimension with Dan following behind, not long after the rest of the Battle Brawlers minus Alice, lost on purpose to Masquerade and was sent to the Doom Dimension as well to rescue them," Jaden said remembering what Alice had told him.
"That's some loyalty," Tai said impressed, if he and Agumon were in that position he knew Sora and the others would do the same thing to help them.
"Yeah, but reckless in my opinion," Jaden commented. "However, as they got there they had encountered the ancient warrior Bakugan, and they made a deal if they would pass a series of tests, they would be freed not only them but all the Bakugan, they were able to pass each test which helped them evolve with the exception of Drago, and they were returned home safely,"
"Not to be rude, but can you skip ahead abit," Haruka asked, she wasn't trying to be a jerk, but this story would take a little too long to get done.
Jaden nodded understanding. "Ok, Dan and Drago had battled all the battle brawlers in which Drago evolved into Ultimate Dragonoid, while Masquerade defeated the last Ancient warrior Darkus Exedra, causing Hydranoid who was Duel Hydranoid at the time to evolve into Alpha Hydranoid. After that, the two Bakugan clashed and after a hard-fought battle Dan and Drago emerged the winners, and even offered Masquerade a spot on their team,"
"Really after everything he put them through Dan offered for them to join?" Matt asked, he was the Digidestined of friendship and he understood about redemption the prime example was Orgermon who started out as their enemy but then became a trusted friend.
"Remember when I said Ken would join us later, you all might not accept him or forgive him for a while, but he'll be a valuable ally," Nobu told them.
"That's a great lesson to teach them," Jaden said, nodding his head.
"Tch, if he doesn't kill us first…" Xeno muttered under his breath, unfortunately for Xeno, both Jaden with his dragon sense heard him and Dharak also heard him.
"Well, they're giving someone like you and your partner a chance." Dharak retorted with venom.
"Then what's your story? I can tell you weren't always a good guy so why would Jaden give you a chance?" Xeno countered.
"Hmmph, you'll hear it soon enough." Dharak snarled with contempt.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm just waiting to hear about your master's biggest mistake," Xeno said.
"Oh, like listening to you who whines and thinks that he's the only one in the whole damn world and expects everyone to sympathize with him." Dharak countered. "Well you know what, it sickens me, there's a lot of people in this world and other worlds who have to suffer more than you coward."
Xeno glared at him. "I don't need anyone's damn sympathy, and trust me I know people have suffered more than me,"
"Well from the way you act, it sure as hell doesn't sound like it, coward." Dharak countered
Xeno pulled out his gun and pointed it at Dharak, surprising most, except Nobu, Sakura, Hakura, Davis, Kari, and Jaden.
"You do know I could just assume my true form in an instant and this entire house would be destroyed." Dharak countered
"But… you would have killed everyone else too… are you willing to allow that just to kill me?" Xeno asked.
"What I'm doing is defending myself from someone who's attacking me, and besides even if I do assume my true form, my partner would manage…can't say for anyone else whose lives you willingly risk just to kill me, not like you could anyway." Dharak countered
Xeno glared at the Darkus Bakugan, he wasn't afraid of Dharak or his true form. However he looked at the others, Nobu was glaring at him, while Sakura and Hakura had disappointed looks on their faces, the others just looked at him hoping he would do it, Davis and Kari said nothing as they waited for Xeno would do, after a minute Xeno closed his eyes and placed his gun back in its holster.
"I'm not wasting a bullet on a toy," Xeno dismissed.
"Of course, the Coward would say that after I pointed out everything," Dharak muttered, not bothered by the insult.
"Please continue," Nobu told Jaden.
"Well, Masquerade told them that him teaming up with them won't work out too well before finally revealing what lies beneath the mask," Jaden said. "And believe you and me his identity was someone we didn't even suspect."
"Who was it?" Mimi asked.
Jaden sighed. "It was Alice…" that shocked everyone, to hear that Jaden's wife was once evil.
"How is that possible?" Yolei asked.
"Simple, the negative energy that turned her grandfather," Xeno answered, before looking at Jaden for once, not with an angry expression. "Am I right?"
"He's right, although Alice was unaware of this personality at first," Jaden confirmed.
"So it was like a form of multiple personality disorder? Masquerade knew but Alice didn't," Izzy said.
"In a way yes, she had walked in on Micheal when he activated the Dimension Teleporter and got corrupted. Not long after she ran away and moved in with her aunt and uncle while the battle brawlers had taken the fight to Naga." Jaden said. "Alice soon got over her doubts, and dawned Masquerade's mask one last time, after helping Dan and Drago, Masquerade passed Hydranoid down to Alice, before they all went back to earth."
"Naga had tricked them into leaving earth, while he invaded and searched for Wavern, however many battlers from around the world had banded together and held them at bay until Alice and the others returned, the brawlers had won against all of Naga's minions, Hal G had transformed into Michael and tricked Alice into taking him to where Wavern was, during the battle Wavern made the ultimate sacrifice and died before giving Drago the infinity core and he with the other Bakugan he was able to beat Naga and gain the Silent Core," Jaden continued
"That's sad, Wavern had to die in order for them to win," Mimi said in a sad tone, thinking of how Leomon had died.
"So what happened after that, and where does Dragon come in?" Davis asked.
"Drago became the perfect core and was able to fix the damage Naga had made, and Vestroia became New Vestioa, not long after New Vestroia was invaded by Invaders known as Vestals," Jaden said.
"Invaders? You mean Aliens?" Izzy asked in surprise.
"That sounds so cool," Davis smirked, he always wanted to meet aliens like in many of his space tv shows.
"Yes, the Vestals vary are similar to humans, with the exception of their eyes that are foggier then ours, you see Vestal was having population troubles, so they set out to find a new place to colonize so they captured all the Bakugan thinking they were just brainless beasts," Jaden said which made the DigiDestined slightly angry,
"Why would they do that? Just up and think the Bakugan were just mindless beasts," Kari said in anger.
"The royal family withheld the information, but Mira, a Vestal girl was able to find out the truth, then began the Bakugan Battle Brawlers resistance, and they were joined by Dan, Marucho, and Shun later on," Jaden said. "At the time, I was with Alice trying to recover from the events at Duel Academy."
"Duel Academy?" Nobu questioned.
"My old school, it's a story for another time." Jaden quickly replied.
Nobu just nodded as Jaden continued. "So during my time at Alice's place, a dimensional portal opened up, both of us went through and found ourselves in New Vestroia." Jaden explained.
"We had a similar experience when we first went to the Digital World." Tai said, remembering how he and the others had gotten sent to the Digital World.
"After we got there, we were able to free Hydranoid, as well as defeating the Darkus member of the Vexos." Jaden said.
"Vexos?" Cody questioned.
"Oh, well they are 6 Vestal Brawlers who are considered Vestal's top brawlers for each attribute, for the Vestals you could think of them like celebrities or superstars," Jaden answered
"Or Nutjobs," Xeno commented.
"Considering most of the ex-Vexos are now allies, watch your mouth kid or I'll tear it out." Jaden threatened.
"Take your best shot Dragie," Xeno told him.
Suddenly Xeno felt pain as he kneeled down on the floor with his chest bleeding, Jaden's hand had turned into dragon claws and on the tip of the claw was blood, specifically Xeno's blood.
"Motherfucker!" Xeno gritted his teeth as blood dripped out of his mouth.
"Dumbass." Dharak chuckled, amused by what he saw.
"Your master is a dumbass too, now my floor is stained with blood and I have to sew him up!" Sakura groaned.
Jaden rolled his eyes, "Ah fine." Jaden groaned as he took out a card that his uncle Xeno gave him and threw it in the air rewinding time to before Jaden stabbed Xeno and caused his blood to stain the floor.
Xeno touched his chest and was shocked. "Are you some kinda, weird wizard or something?" he asked, confused.
"Basic spell, that the Xeno from my universe taught me," Jaden answered.
"Wait, other Xeno taught you?" Matt asked, thinking it weird hearing that, Xeno had actually taught someone
"Now where was I?" Jaden asked himself.
"About the Vexos," Davis answered.
"Oh well, the members at the time consisted of the Darkus member Shadow Prove, now he's a nutcase, the Haos member Volt Luster, a battler with a code of honor, the Aquos Member Mylene Farrow." Jaden snarled once he mentioned Mylene, remembering how she betrayed him. If you think the Digimon Emperor was horrible, that bitch was even worse, she was a manipulative bitch and all of her Bakugan would be conditioned."
"Conditioned?" Kari asked, confused.
"In other words, Mylene's Bakugan have their free will wiped out, rendering it as a mindless slave, not even her own partner Bakugan Elico was spared from this fate," Jaden explained.
"That's horrible!" Davis gritted his teeth, he knew Ken was bad, but at least he didn't make Stingmon mindless. "She really is a bitch!"
"Why would she do that?" Sora said in anger.
"Because in her own words, a weapon with free will is useless," Jaden answered. "Conditioned Bakugan are the norm until the resistance pushed the Vexos to use more unorthodox measures."
"More unorthodox methods?" Haruka asked, not liking where it was going.
"Before I tell you what those methods were, I'll tell you the remaining members, the Ventus member Lync Volan, he's a show-off, the Subterra member as well as second strongest of the Vexos Gus Grav and finally Vestal's number 1 battler and leader of the Vexos, Pyrus battler Spectra Phantom," Jaden said.
Jaden then pulled out a tablet and showed the Digidestined as well as Sakura and Haruka images of the Vexos members excluding Dragon.
"Huh? For a bitch she ain't bad looking," Xeno said looking at Mylene's image however Yolei elbowed him in the gut knocking the air out of him "what the fuck, woman?"
Yolei just snorted and turned her head away. Just muttering 'idiot'
"Spectra just screams edge lord," Davis said in his opinion as he looked at Spectra's image, Jaden said some of the Vexos became allies, but Spectra looked like the definition of a villain in his opinion.
Nobu observed the images for a minute and scowled. "Which ones became allies?"
Jaden pointed to Spectra's, Gus's, Volt's, and Lync's images.
"So those 4 huh?" Sakura questioned. "So what is the method you spoke of earlier?"
"The creation of artificial Bakugan, more specifically Mechanical Bakugan," Jaden answered with a frown.
"No one should play god," Xeno, who had gotten over Yolei's elbow, said.
"Yes," Nobu in agreement.
"Than what would the Digimon be considered?" Dharak asked.
"The Digital World has existed long before humanity even got the first computer working," Greymon said from inside Nobu's fusion loader.
"Sounds reasonable enough," Jaden said. "Is that a satisfying answer? Dharak." Jaden asked his partner.
"For now," Dharak growled.
"What's with him?" Nobu asked, wondering if Greymon's answer caused the Darkus Bakugan to be angered, from what the Royal Knights told him, King Drasil was one to create the digital world and it has existed long before humanity had evolved.
"I'll tell you later, I could think of a couple of things in mind," Jaden answered. "Anything else you want answered?"
"Why did you become Dragon in the first place?" Kari asked, like her, the others were thinking the same thing.
Jaden sighed. "Well… you can say I was going through some hard times after my graduation," he said as he looked at the ceiling. "I… was dying…" that caused most of them to gasp in shock, while Nobu, Haruka, Sakura including Xeno stayed calm. "You see I became Dragon to not only join the Vexos but to cover the fact that I was dying, I also wanted everyone I knew to hate me before dying,"
"Why on earth or anywhere would you want that?" Sakura demanded.
"Because I was aiming for the true enemy," Jaden stated with an ominous tone.
"True enemy?" Davis asked.
"Who is this true enemy?" Nobu asked in a serious tone.
"Prime Apocalypse!" Jaden revealed.
"Prime Apocalypse?" Matt uttered, anything with Apocalypse in its name had to be very dangerous.
"What the hell is a Prime Apocalypse?" Xeno questioned.
Jaden rolled his eyes as he used his tablet to show everyone the image of Prime Apocalypse, Prime Apocalypse was a black dragon with gigantic wings covered in silver armor with gold highlights as well as a gold helmet with a blade-shaped tail and a crimson blood-red diamond on his chest
"So that's him huh?" Nobu glared, it may have been just an image. But something about it made him feel like he was staring down a thousand demon lords.
"So this monster, is the true enemy in your world?" Izzy questioned.
"Indeed, he's also the reason that our Xeno is dead," Jaden revealed., shocking the DigiDestined.
"So the other me died at the hands of an evil lizard," Xeno growled. "Did I at least go down fighting?"
Jaden thought back when his Universe's Xeno died to a sneak attack by Prime Apocalypse after his battle against Dorbickmon, who he went down fighting against, even if it was a sneak attack, Jaden had no doubt in his mind that Prime Apocalypse would have easily killed Xeno back then as well too, even before Xeno had fought Dorbickmon.
"You don't want the answer to that, trust me," Jaden said.
Xeno scowled before he punched the wall making a hole in it, Sakura just glared at him for that he was definitely going to pay for it.
"Tch!" Xeno scoffed.
"I guess something happened?" Yolei guesses.
"Kind of, during the final battle for the freedom of New Vestroia, Mylene convince Hydron that the occupation of New Vestroia was Spectra's fault and by extension mine and so we were considered traitors, and they even set the palace to explode while we were engaged in battle," Jaden revealed.
"So they were going to kill you both, to cover it up," Sora said.
"Yes," Jaden nodded.
"Who were you two fighting?" TK asked.
"Dan, the leader of the battle brawler, and my sister Mana the new leader of the resistance, while my grandmother and few members of the resistance freed the brawler's original partners," Jaden said.
"You fought your sister?" Tai questioned with a slight glare, not only him but Matt, and hard to believe Xeno glared too.
Jaden understood what they were thinking, Tai and Matt were brothers that cared deeply about their younger siblings, however, Xeno who had said he didn't need anyone, not even his sisters.
"Long story short, the palace exploded causing our battle to end in a draw, me and Spectra had left New Vestroia, and the resistance succeeded in freeing New Vestroia." Jaden said. "Damn traitors," Jaden muttered while scowling remembering how Mylene betrayed him and Spectra with no hesitation at all.
"I think we've heard enough to know what you and your history are like," Nobu said, which Jaden nodded.
"But the real question is, how long are you going to stay in our world? I'm sure family and friends are worried about you?" Sora said.
"If I could, I would have gone home as soon as I landed," Jaden answered.
"What he said, I don't want to stay in this wretched dimension for a second longer," Dharak stated, once again showing his contempt for this dimension.
"I'll be glad once you're gone," Greymon said from Nobu's fusion loader, not liking Dharak's attitude.
"Well then, I think I'll leave for today, see you all tomorrow, and thanks for having me here." Jaden bowed as he left the house.
"They're an interesting pair," Xeno commented. "So we know he's not our enemy, but he shouldn't stay in our universe for too long,"
"I have to agree with him," Izzy said, surprising everyone. "I would like to know about his world and technology, them being in our world might have disastrous consequences." that got the rest of them thinking.
At that time in the Demon Lord's lair, Lucemon and Barbamon, along with 3 of the Anti Digidestined, Takeshi, Luna, and Namine all were watching 4 Datamon typing away at a giant computer, reviewing the data from Dharak.
"Incredible, my lord this power is beyond anyone's imagination," Datamon 1 said to Lucemon.
"Yes, this data will help you create an unstoppable army." Datamon 2 added.
"The only question is, where did those two come from?" Takeshi asked himself.
"To think, our new handsome teacher was Dragon all along," Namine frowned, ever since he had arrived he was one of the only few to resist her charms.
"But now we have to keep an eye on him, as well as the DigiDestined as well," Luna said.
"There are still some parts of the data still missing, at least one more battle with Dharak and we'll have enough." Datamon 3 explained to Lucemon.
Lucemon glared at the screen, Dharak's image. "Very well, send Daemon to flush them out."
"Of course my lord." Datamon 3 replied, "I'll contact him at once."
"If I may, I would like to take part in this," Barbamon spoke up. "My mind control ability might be able to persuade others to 'assist' us on this mission."
"Granted, while you are at it, try to gather more battle data on Jaden," Lucemon told him.
Barbamon bowed before he had left the room, Lucemon turned to the 3 children. "you three keep an eye on that 'teacher' along with the others,"
Takeshi, Namine, and Luna nodded as they left for the human world, while Lucemon just glared at the screen. 'Soon, I will have the power of an invincible army, not even the power of the three abominable crests will be able to stop me,'
After explaining his history to the DigiDestined, Jaden called Nozomi and told her that he'll treat her to some sushi for dinner tonight and that they'll leave for dinner when he gets home. As soon as Jaden arrived, he and Nozomi went out and were walking to their destination that was famous for its Sushi.
"So how does this feel?" Jaden asked Nozomi for her opinion
"Feels great, thanks for taking me out," Nozomi said, she had not had anyone of her tenants take her out before. "So did anything exciting happen during school again?"
"Jameser is still annoying," Jaden admitted.
"Well, he's still a kid and still going through trauma, which could take years to fix itself," Nozomi said.
"True." Jaden concur.
As the two were walking together, Nozomi grabbed Jaden's hand. "You know I only had 3 boyfriends and neither of them holds a candle to you, not just in looks but in treating me fairly."
"What happened?" Jaden asked.
"The first turned out to be a playboy, he cheated on me with another girl, and second was another tenant at first I thought he did care, but he only used me to gain a place to stay and mooch off my food, and so I kicked him out, but the third, I broke up with after having enough with his anger problems and well… I don't want to talk about the last part, " Nozomi while shivering in slight fear, not wanting to be reminded of that horrible time.
Jaden nodded in understanding while wondering what Nozomi's third boyfriend could've done to her, after 5 more minutes of walking together they eventually arrived at the Sushi place.
The next day had started out as per usual the only thing was the team was still processing what Jaden had told them, at the moment the younger team was outside enjoying their free period, while the students were doing whatever they want, Jaden was looking over some cards that he just happened to have with him at the time.
"Hey, what are those cards you have?" Davis asked, walking up to Jaden.
Jaden looked up. "Duel Monsters, it's a popular game from where I come from," Jaden answered.
"Really, sounds cool," Davis replied. "How do you play?"
Jaden just looked at Davis like he was an idiot with a deadpan stare. "Do you really want me to explain all the complicated rules to you?" Jaden asked, knowing even at his age the rules of the game are complicated still.
"Well, I'm still willing to try at least?" Davis shrugged.
Jaden sighed and chuckled. "Kids and their youth." Jaden chuckled as he smiled."Tell you what, when we're all at the computer room I'll tell everyone alright?" Jaden said.
"Alright" Davis nodded as he walked away. wondering what Duel Monsters game was like, and how hard the complicated rules were.
"Are you really going to teach him?" Dharak asked from Jaden's pocket.
"Maybe, I'm not sure yet," Jaden said.
"Whatever, it's your funeral." Dharak countered.
Jaden just sighed as the school day continued.
The younger team, including Izzy, Jun and Nobu, Tai, and the others couldn't make it today, Tai and Sora were helping Mimi with moving some things, while Matt had band practice and Joe was studying. At the moment Jaden was talking to them about Duel Monsters, he decided to tell them about the basics first.
"Duel Monsters is a strategy game where two people or duelists battle with a deck of cards," Jaden said as he placed his deck on the table. "Both players start with 4000 life points. The goal of the game is to use the monster card to reduce your opponent's life points to 0." Jaden explains
"Sounds pretty easy," Yolei commented.
"It's like us, only on cards," Upamon said.
"Yeah," Poromon said.
"It really isn't," Dharak muttered as he landed on the table.
"He's right," Jaden said. "Not only does the player has to use their monsters but you have to use spells and traps to attack and defend against your opponents," Jaden said.
"Sounds like dungeons and dragons with only no dice," Xeno said, actually interested in Duel Monsters.
"Heh, one of my father's friend actually made a game based on it called Dungeon Dice Monsters," Jaden said while smirking
"Dungeon Dice Monsters?" Izzy questioned intrigued,
"Yes, and there is another one too, Capsule Monsters," Jaden said.
"Woah, I would like to learn how to play," TK said to Jaden.
"Me too," Cody agreed
"Count me in as well," Kari spoke up.
"I want to learn to play, Demiveemon said with excitement.
"With your stubby arms, you would drop the cards every time," Yaamon stated.
"At least I have arms Yaamon!" Demiveemon countered, which Yaamon glared at him,
Nobu nodded, he too wanted to know about all the games as well.
After awhile, Jaden began teaching them the game, mostly the basics, starting with the spell, trap, and monster card, along with the attributes, once they all got the general Idea, he started to teach them his specialty Fusion Summoning and how it worked.
"By using Polymerization, I can fuse monsters together to make even more powerful monsters, for example, I fuse Elemental Hero Sparkman with Clayman to form Elemental Hero Thunder Giant," Jaden said.
Revealing Thunder Giant's card. "Another thing is that a lot of monsters have special abilities, Thunder Giant's special ability is that he can destroy an opponent's monster whose original attack points are less than his own," Jaden continued
"Cool, I want to fusion summon," Jun said.
"There are still a few things for you all to learn before any of you pick up a deck," Jaden admitted, he still needed to go over a few more things before they would take the first step to the advanced rules. After a while explaining a bit more about the rules Jaden decided to give them a small trial run. "On I think I'm ready to give you all a demonstration, I just need one of you to duel with," he said, as Davis, TK, Yolei, Cody, Jun, and Izzy offered Jaden looked at Nobu and pointed at him. "You mind helping me Nobu?"
"Sure," Nobu nodded, as he and Jaden said across from one another, Jaden had pulled out a briefcase before opening it, revealing a bunch of Duel Monsters decks. "We'll choose a deck from the briefcase and to make it fair I won't use any of my usual decks," Jaden said.
Nobu nodded as he reached into the briefcase and pulled out a random deck, he flipped it around and saw some kind of Knight on it.
Jaden then picked up a deck and looked at the front card. "Ok, now we both place our decks on the game mat," Jaden explained
Nobu did as told and placed his deck on the game mat.
"Now we pick up five cards each, and since this is your first time, I'll you go first," Jaden said.
"Thanks," Nobu said as he drew his five cards while Jaden drew his.
"Let's Duel!" Jaden said, confusing them, he then sighed. "It's how duelists say let's begin,"
"Ok, let's duel!" Nobu shouted and their game began.
The duel had started out slow, Nobu although still new to the game was picking up things fast, as he was able to summon the knight monster which Nobu now knew was called Black Luster Soldier Envoy of Beginning. Jaden however simply used a simple trap card Bottomless Trap Hole to banished the Knight, before showing them another means of fusion, Dark Fusion.
"With Dark Fusion, I'll fuse Sparkman and Clayman together in order to form Evil Hero Lightning Golem," Jaden said as he placed the card on the field.
"Evil Hero?" Nobu questioned.
"Like an Anti Hero," Davis said, understanding the meaning of the name.
"He's right, the Evil Heroes are the dark counterparts to my Elemental Heroes and they'll do anything to win," Jaden explained. "And since you have no monsters to defend yourself, I'm able to attack you directly."
"Not so fast, cause I activate my face-down card," Nobu said before flipping his trap over revealing the Chasm of Spikes. "Thanks to this, your monster isn't only destroyed but ¼ of his ATK comes out of your life points."
Jaden nodded in approval, he could clearly see Nobu was getting a grasp at how the game works well. "Very good, Nobu, you're learning very fast, however it won't work on my Evil Heroes," Jaden said.
"Wait?" Nobu narrowed his eyes,
"Thanks to the effect of Dark Fusion, card effects won't work the Fusion monster on the turn it's used," Jaden explained.
"A very powerful dark card," Xeno commented.
"So Nobu still takes the damage," Kari stated.
Nobu looked at his cards and frowned before drawing another card and smirked. "I activate the Ritual Spell Super Soldier Ritual, I offer up my level 4 Blade Knight with Marauding Captain in order to summon Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier," he said before placing the ritual monster down on the game mat, with his monsters power
"And with him, I'll attack your Hero." Nobu declared.
"Yeah, not happening because I activate the Zero Gravity trap card, it forces all monsters on the field to switch battle positions." Jaden declared as he and Nobu each switch their monsters to defense mode.
"And I thought he had them there," Yolei said.
"You're not the only one," Cody agreed.
"Yeah right." Dharak said, "Jaden is just going easy on him so far while at the same time going harder and harder with each passing round."
"So he's holding back while at the same time making it tough for Nobu," Xeno questioned.
"Correct," Dharak confirmed.
"It's my turn now," Jaden announced. "I activate Lightning Golem's effect, unlike Thunder Giant, he's able to destroy an enemy monster regardless of ATK, I'll target Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier!" Jaden announced
"Prodigious, unlike his Elemental Counterpart, Lightning Golem can destroy a monster with no drawback," Izzy said intrigued.
"And then I used Monster Reborn to revive Purgatory Knights Leader Demios and then I attack." Jaden announced, "and that brings your life points down to 0."
Everyone was surprised, especially Davis, Kari, and Xeno. They all knew Nobu never lost at anything he did, this was the first time they had seen him lose.
"What, you actually think that your friend had a chance against a Pro Duelist?" Dharak asked.
"In a way, yes, Nobu has never lost at anything as far as we know," Davis answered.
"Well, I went to Duel Academy to sharpen my skills even further," Jaden explained.
"Regardless, that was a great game," Nobu said not upset that he lost. "Next time, the duel could swing either way,"
"That's what makes Duel Monsters fun, you could never know the outcome until the last card is played. There are infinite possibilities and outcomes." Jaden said.
At that time in the Digital World, Daemon was in the mountain range, he had been ordered by Lucemon to initiate the operation to gather more battle data on Dharak, so he decided to call upon one of their generals, and he knew just the perfect one to send after them.
Daemon glared out at the mountain range until a figure covered in shadows appeared, only his yellow eyes showed through. "Nice for you to show up,"
"What is it you want me to do Lord Daemon?" the figure asked.
"Yes, a Creature known as Dharak is the key to us making an unstoppable army, you are to engage him in battle so we can gather more of his battle data," Daemon said.
"I understand my lord." The figure said as he stepped through the shadows, revealing what he looks like, an armored knight covered in black armor and adorned with a dark blue cape. The knight was wielding a large lance as well as a circular shield "It shall be done, my lord." The Knight said.
Daemon could only smirk. 'Wait until Nobu catches a look at him,' knowing this would enrage the foolish human.
At that time Yolei and Kari were engaged in a duel, while the others observed, Yolei had randomly chosen the Harpie lady deck which Yolei thought fit her well since her partner was a Bird Digimon. while Kari had randomly chosen the Magician Girls, Kari had thought they were all cool and she liked Dark Magician Girl, the Girls match was coming to end as Yolei drew her card,
Yolei smirked. "Looks like I'm about to win Kari," she said with confidence, while Kari remained calm and observed "I activate Elegant Egotist, with this, I can call on the Harpie Ladie sisters," she said as placed the card on the field. "And with that, I activate my Cyber Armor giving my Harpies enough power to destroy your Dark Magician Girl,"
Kari then smirked. "Sorry, Yolei not going to happen," as she revealed her down card, which was Magic Cylinder, Yolei grunted in defeat.
"Yeah, I expected that result," Jaden smirked as he read his book.
"Nice job, Kari," Davis said as they gave each other high fives.
"You were great," TK said.
"Thanks, TK," Kari smiled at him.
"What about my congratulations?" Yolei complained.
"You did great Yolei, you almost beat Kari," Xeno said sincerely, Yolei just gave him a small smirk that caught Jaden's attention.
"Alright Xeno it's our turn," Davis said eagerly, turning towards Xeno.
"Bring it on Motomiya, I won't lose to you at this," Xeno smirked.
Jaden looked at the two, he could easily tell they were both rivals and like rivals they push each other, as they were about to shuffle their decks, Nobu's D-Terminal started beeping.
"Looks like we have to cut this short you two," Nobu said, which made both Davis and Xeno groan in frustration.
"Something happened?" Jaden asked.
Nobu looked at his D-Terminal. "Demon Lord activity," he scowled.
"Pfft, if it's them, I'll be able to destroy them in an instant," Dharak snarled.
"It takes more than brute force, my friend," Jaden said.
"Yeah, the Demon Lords underestimate you, they don't make the same mistake twice," Nobu commented.
"What are we waiting for, let's go,": TK said, everyone, nodded as they cleaned up the game mat the cards before walking over to the computer.
"Might want to hold on tight old man," Xeno said to Jaden n a cheeky tone.
"I was fighting before you were even born." Jaden reprimanded.
"Alright Digi Port open!" Nobu shouted as they were all sucked into the computer screen.
The team had arrived in a mountain range, all they could see were gray mountains and cliffs, but they remained on guard knowing the terrain was the perfect place for an ambush.
"This terrain is the perfect place for an ambush, so be careful," Nobu told everyone.
"I'm not afraid of them," Dharak growled.
"Nice view though," Yolei said as she looked out over the horizon.
"We aren't here for sightseeing woman," Xeno remarked, which only caused Yolei to glare at him for calling her 'woman' again, "Let's see what these a-holes want with us this time, which is very obvious,"
Jaden rolled his eyes. "We'll fly on Dharak, it'll save up some time," he told them "Oh yeah that reminds me, Xeno detention."
"For what?" Xeno arched an eyebrow.
"You really think I'm that stupid? For punching TK right after saving MetalGreymon." Jaden glared at Xeno.
"Oh yeah, that fight they had earlier that day," Kari remembered.
"We're even know, you know, if I really wanted to hurt him, I could have shot, stabbed, or poisoned his food," Xeno stated.
"Despite him being right for calling you a coward?" Jaden arched an eyebrow. "That's no reason to get payback."
"Calling me out and punching me are two very different things, dickless," Xeno said calmly.
Jaden sighed as he just took a talisman and which reopened the wound on Xeno's chest from when Jaden using his dragon claw stabbed him.
"What?! You mother. How?" Xeno demanded and he fell to his knees
"You really should shut that mouth, it's a wonder your still alive.'' Jaden calmly said.
"Jeez, I wonder too?" Xeno smirked as the blood kept pouring out of his wound.
"Are you going to help him?" Nobu asked.
"Don't worry, I stabbed him somewhere where he'll eventually pass out by blood loss," Jaden said. "But he'll still be alive."
"Be the bigger person Jaden, don't give in to his idiocy," Nobu said knowing this would keep going if nothing gives, he was starting to get annoyed with Xeno's foolishness.
"Fine." Jaden sighed as he pulled out two talismans this time, one that stopped the bleeding while the other conveniently muted Xeno and prevented him from talking.
Xeno was trying to yell but no voice was coming out, he then glared at Jaden who just smirked.
"You muted him?" Davis said in shock.
"Yeah, I could also freeze his movements as well," Jaden added
Xeno glared his eye practically glowing red as he pulled out his guns and began to shoot at Jaden who avoided them before he turned his hands into dragon claws and grabbed both guns.
"You won't be needing these," Jaden said as he kept the guns on his person.
Xeno glared as a small dark energy began to appear around him, surprising everyone.
Jaden just stared at Xeno and the energy with a deadpan stare. "That doesn't even frighten me."
"What is that?" Cody asked confused.
"Some kind of dark energy." Jaden guessed before getting another stone and tossing it to Xeno. "It allows us to hear what your thinking," Jaden said.
Xeno looked at it and frowned. {you know! I'll be happy if Prime Apocalypse takes your life motherfucker) he said through his thought, as the dark power began to dissipate.
Jaden nearly sighed before looking at Nobu. "So where should we get moving?"
Nobu pointed towards north, "that way, the message said there was activity on the other side of those mountains,"
"This is obviously a trap, there's nothing out there," Impmon told Nobu.
"Then let's not disappoint them," Davis said.
Nobu looked at Xeno and frowned, the kids foolishness was getting on his nerves. And he could see the darkness in him was starting to take hold. They needed to get him to let go of his hatred. He understood what Jaden was doing, it was justified however it was only feeding the darkness and hatred even more.
A few minutes later they were all on Dharak as flew through the sky, everyone kept a long out Jaden looked over to Nobu and spoke.
"Is he really worth it?" Jaden asked Nobu loud enough for only him to hear. "Don't get me wrong, I know you are only trying to help him but he's never going to learn,"
"Sometimes I ask myself the same thing," Nobu replied.
"What a surprise." Jaden sighed
"The thing is, his mom practically begged me to watch him, since he saw me as an older brother," Nobu admitted.
"Our Xeno was practically close to his mother as well," Jaden said but then scowled. "But not his father, in our world his father was a monster trying to destroy the world and is the reason why our Xeno had to go through a rough life with his powers,"
Nobu thought about it for a bit, his Xeno was very close to his father, and since his death, he was the same. "But he was able to get help before he could get any worse?" Nobu asked.
"That's right, his wife's family was able to help him get a lid on his powers and anger, he killed his only friend and destroyed his school because of his father and he blamed himself ever since," Jaden said in a grim tone.
"That Dark Power, you know what it is?" Jaden said.
Nobu looked at Jaden for a minute and nodded. "It's the power of the dark spores inside him, Ken the Digimon Emperor has them too, but Xeno's are more powerful and corrupting because Xeno's trauma runs much deeper,"
"Dark Spores?" Jaden muttered to himself. 'Possibly some sort of corrupting influence.'
"Guys, I'm about to land," Dharak said
However, a powerful beam appeared out of nowhere which Dharak was able to avoid while the others held on for dear life.
"Dharak, take us down quickly," Jaden said.
Dharak nodded as he landed on the ground before snarling. "Who dares shot at me?" Dharak growled.
The attacker then stepped forward. "I Did, you interlopers will now pay with your lives for defying the Demon Lords." The Knight Digimon declared with authority.
"That's impossible…" Nobu said in shock. "Gallantmon?" he was shocked but he shook it off, he knew it wasn't his old friend at all, but a dark variant of his species.
"Who are you?" TK demanded.
"And what do you want with us?" Cody added
"My name is ChaosGallantmon, one of the Death Generals working for the Demon Lords." ChaosGallentmon answered.
{is it possible?} Xeno questioned through the talisman.
It's not improbable." Jaden spoke up. "Gallentmon and ChaosGallantmon are related in many ways," he added, knowing that he could be a separate individual or a corrupted version of the holy knight.
'So they finally got that system up and running' Impmon thought, the Death Generals was an Idea they had during their war with the Royal Knights gather powerful Digimon with powers that they could exploit in their war, but they were destroyed before the plan could take flight.
"SkullMeramon, NeoDevimon and MarineChimeramon were the just the prologue." ChaosGallantmon announced. "Now my lords have requested my assistance."
"If those fools before were the prologue, then you're the epilogue," Jaden said.
"You misunderstand me, I was requested to gather more data on both of you." ChaosGallantmon replied.
"Then you last long enough to get it," Dharak growled. as he fired a blast of dark energy at ChaosGallantmon who just jumped up high in the air.
"Demon's Disaster!" ChaosGallantmon announced as black energy charged up in his lance before he unleashed it as a destructive blast of energy at Dharak.
Dharak didn't move as the attack hit, the force of the attack caused the Digidestined and their Digimon to shield themselves, while Jaden just looked up at Chaosgallantmon
"Is that all you have?" Dharak snarled before his eyes flashed as he gathered energy in his maw that began taking shape as a gigantic destructive sphere of black and purple energy. "Take this," Dharak shouted as he launched it at ChaosGallantmon.
As the Energy Orb was on its way, Chaosgallantmon held up his shield in front of him. "Chaos Crusher!" ChaosGallantmon shouted as he released a dark wave of energy from his shield.
The Blast overcame the wave of energy but was weakened considerably as it impacted the shield, but it still force ChaosGallantmon back a bit, but otherwise, he was still fine.
ChaosGallantmon lay down his shield and narrowed his eyes. 'They're strong, if it wasn't for my shield that attack could have injured me immensely even if it was weakened a bit.' ChaosGallantmon thought.
"I was hoping for more of a challenge, but it seems just like Lucemon you are nothing to me," Dharak mocked.
ChaosGallantmon was about to mode change to Chaos Mode before he was contacted by telepathy.
{You are not to change mode! Your job is to drag out the fight while we gather his data,} Daemon shouted.
{With all due respect my lord, I believe that the best course of action is to change mode so that the data collecting is more efficient.} ChaosGallantmon replied
Daemon thought for a second they needed just this last fight to gather enough data to complete it. {very well, you have my permission, just gather his data}
"ChaosGalantmon Mode Change to ChaosGallantmon Chaos Mode!" ChaosGallantmon CM roared.
ChaosGallantmon's body was now clad in dark blue and gray armor, he had wings that were a light shade of blue and were transparent, and instead of his lance and shield, he now has a double-ended lance-like spear as a weapon.
"Okay, we should get serious as well," Jaden said as he began pressing buttons on his Bakumeter.
"Ready: AirKor", the Bakumeter reported.
"Battle Gear Boost!", Jaden shouted, throwing the Battle Gear at Dharak. When the device connected, a bright purple flash resulted.
When the light subsided, Dharak had equipped his Battle Gear. Two wings made from golden diamonds replaced Dharak's natural wings. A metal attachment between the wings rose high. Another golden diamond was on Dharak's chest, connecting the two wings. Green armor was on Dharak's short limbs.
ChaosGallantmon CM merely stared at the device and weaponry. {Are you currently getting this my lord?} ChaosGallantmon CM asked
{yes, those will be invaluable in equipping our army,} Daemon answered.
"You all should take cover, things are going to get messy," Jaden told the others. They nodded as they moved far from Jaden and Dharak.
"Now, I hope that form will be a decent challenge," Dharak mocked.
ChaosGallantmon CM narrowed his eyes, as he flew straight at Dharak. "Invincible Sword!" he shouted as a sword of light materialized in his hand before he attempted to slash at Dharak.
"Battle Gear Ability Activate! Airkor!" Jaden began
"Zayin!" Dharak finished as all the golden parts of Dharak's battle Gear began glowing a bright purple as if corrupted. While at the same time Numerous black particles appeared around Dharak. And after a few seconds to fully charge the attack, Dharak unleashed his Battle Gear's power, sending the black particles in all directions around him.
ChaosGallantmon CM was forced back by the numerous amount of dark particles emitted and was slammed by them while at the same time, the black particles were emitting shockwaves that were scorching the very earth for miles. 'Yes, this power will help us.' ChaosGallantmon thought to himself as he was engulfed by the explosion.
{yes, that is it,} Daemon smirked, Dharak's power was more than he could imagine.
Sticking his head out of their position, Nobu was shocked by the damage that Jaden and Dharak had done. 'That was enough power to level this entire mountain range,' Nobu had never seen this level of power before it made him.
As the explosion subsided, ChaosGallantmon CM was still standing but had sustained a lot of damage. "Well, it's been a long time since I been this damaged,"
"Tch, I'm just getting warm-up," Dharak scoffed.
ChaosGallantmon CM, narrowed his as he was about to re-engage in battle and Dharak was ready to continue, Daemon spoke through telepathy,
{that's enough, we have enough data to return to the castle now.} Daemon ordered.
ChaosGallantmon CM laid down his arms before he reverted back to ChaosGallantmon. "This isn't over yet, not by a long shot." ChaosGallantmon declared as he left the scene.
"Disappointing," Dharak commented, hoping he would get some challenge but it was just another disappointment.
"Dharak, they said they were getting data on us," Jaden asked. "Did you know?"
"Hmmph." Dharak refused to answer, knowing that Lucemon was gathering data during their battle.
"Of course, you refuse to tell me." Jaden sighed.
"If they are gathering data on you and Dharak then we are in grave danger," Impmon said as he and others walked up to them.
"Possibly," Jaden said as he rubbed his head
"Not possible, you don't know much about the Digital World, and the Demon Lords and mold data into living Digimon if they want, that's how they created MarineKaimeramon," Nobu pointed out. "I fear they'll use Dharak's DNA data to create even more powerful creatures,"
"Even if they could his battle Gear could only be wielded by Dharak," Jaden explained.
{maybe, but who says they can't modify it? But of course, I could be wrong.} Xeno said.
"Impossible," Dharak said
"He's right, Battle Gear is like creating weapons and armor out of your flesh and blood, modifying it would mean modifying your own DNA," Jaden explained.
"Yes, but we Digimon are made of data and data can be molded into any form you want, unlike flesh and blood Data is more flexible," Gatomon added.
"Same thing even for Digital Bakugan," Jaden said.
""Wait Digital Bakugan?" Kari asked.
"Story when we get back," Jaden replied.
{let's just go back now, I want to beat Motomiya in our duel,} Xeno said.
"Actually I think we need to get home soon," Cody said.
"He's right," Jaden said.
After getting back to the real world, Jaden undid the mute talisman on Xeno but still kept his guns, much to his frustration, threatening to tell his mother which this time scared him.
"Then I'll tell my mother, about my father's guns. Even she wouldn't let you keep them," Xeno said.
"Would she let you shoot people for every little thing?" Jaden asked with a deadpan stare. "Because maybe I should just let her keep them and ask her to not give them to you for a week."
"Ohhh! I swear motherfucker, I look forward to not seeing your ugly face when you leave," Xeno glared before leaving the room.
"I choose to take that as a no," Jaden smirked, before thinking of asking when would be a good time to do a teacher-parents interview.
The rest of the kids went home, Jaden was the last to leave the school when he sensed a tear in the dimensional barrier. 'A tear in the dimensional barrier?' Jaden frowned, he was not expecting this to happen he decided to check it out
Jaden made his way through the city, and he ended up in the park. "Funny, how I end up back here of all places,"
"You looking lost as usual," a familiar voice said,
Jaden turned to see three familiar faces. "Well, I never thought I would see you three here honey," he said, he was seeing his wife Alice, and his two friends Keith and Fabia.
Alice ran up and hugged Jaden tightly, to which he returned the hug.
"Finally does this mean we could get out of this deadbeat dimension?" Dharak asked as landed on Jaden's shoulder.
"Unfortunately no, Pyravian said us looking for you would be a one-way trip," Keith answered.
"Just great," Jaden said before Alice slapped him across the face, which surprised him."That hurt, what the hell was that for woman,"
"For worrying me and our children and for getting us involved in your stupid messes again!" Alice glared.
"I did nothing this time," Jaden said.
"A Likely story," Alice huffed, crossing her arms.
"No, really it's true," Jaden said, fearing for his life.
"You can kill him later, Alice," Fabia said, before turning to Jaden. "But can you tell us what you've been up to before we arrived?"
"I will, I'm renting out a house with someone, I'll tell you all on the way.," Jaden said while trying to keep his wife from killing him, as he lead them to Nozomi's house, while along the way Jaden had begun to tell them about what he has been through since he and Dharak got here.
The next day, Davis, Kari, and Xeno who was still angered about having his dad's guns taken from him were waiting for Jaden to enter class.
"I will get my guns back, or die trying," Xeno grumbled.
"Aren't you being overdramatic?" Kari rolled her eyes.
"Those guns are some of the only things I have left of my dad, when I have them it's like he's right by my side," Xeno told them.
"Well you do have a habit of taking them out in a public place aiming them at someone," Kari said. "It was only a matter of time."
"Whatever," Xeno huffed.
"If you calm down, I'm sure Jaden will give you back," Davis said.
"Whatever," Xeno sighed.
Just then Jaden entered the classroom and everyone was shocked to see he looked beaten up and had a black eye, soon Alice walked in dressed in a white dress shirt, black skirt, and high heel shoes.
"Ah Class, this is my wife…How should I say this, starting today she'll be my assistant." Jaden said in a down tone.
"It's nice to me you all, I hope you all have been nice to my deadbeat husband," Alice smiled with a bow.
"Hmm, I like her," Xeno smirked.
Jaden sighed knowing this was going to be a long day, and how he got his injury? Well… it was a long night.
Flashback
As they walked up to Nozomi's door, Jaden had just finished telling them.
"You slashed an 11-year-old kid's chest?!" Alice glared, she was surprised to hear this world had Jamsers in it, and if this world's Xeno was a jerk but there was no need to slash him across the chest.
"You meet up with him and see what happens, at this rate he'll end up like me or Keith even worse," Jaden said. "He's ignoring everyone."
"That's understandable, but really?" Keith questioned, he understood why Jaden did it but even he knew that was going too far and that was saying something considering what he did in the past.
"The kid has guns on public property." Jaden deadpanned. "I don't understand why he's not in jail yet."
"Too true, but taking guns is one thing, slashing him is another," Fabia said.
"He has a hair-trigger temper and always pulls out his guns over the slightest problems," Dharak spoke, shocking them.
"That is something, however, if you want to help him, I think you need to be patient and not use much force," Alice suggested
"His childhood friends were patient for 3 fricken years and he still hasn't changed." Jaden deadpanned.
"Jaden, his dad was killed by an evil Digimon thing in front of him, how do you expect an 8-year-old to process that, I'm not defending him but how do you suggest it?" Fabia said she wasn't defending the kid, she was stating a fact: anyone at that age would have a messed up mind if that happened.
"Fine whatever," Jaden said
"Let me try to help him. Jaden we both know I have better patience dealing with someone else with a problem.." Alice said.
"Be our guest." Dharak grinned
Jaden unlocked the door with his key, as he and the others walked in. "Nozomi I'm back!" he called out.
Alice just glared at him, 'why am I not surprised?' she should have known, like always, her deadbeat husband would still chase after another girl.
"Jealous?" Dharak grinned
"Of course she is, that is her husband who cheats at times," Hydranoid commented.
"I'm going to fry you Jaden, I swear to Kami," Alice grumbled, which had Jaden shiver.
A minute later Nozomi came down and was surprised to see Jaden along with three other people, but what shocked her the most was the sight of Alice, it was like looking into a mirror they both looked alike aside from hair and eye difference.
"Um… Nozomi, I would like you to meet my wife Alice Yuki, and my friends Keith and Fabia," Jaden said.
"Wife?" Nozomi said in surprise.
"I'm sorry, he can be a real idiot as he hits on every girl he sees," Alice apologizes calmly.
"No, I don't," Jaden said. "I'm just a gentleman."
"Gentlemen my ass!" Alice shouted.
"We just got here and Jaden told us there are rooms for rent, and he has told us the rules for if we want to stay here and we are prepared to follow them," Keith said.
Nozomi had calmed down enough and smiled. "Sure, you can stay, but I expect you all to pay on time like Jaden,"
"We understand," Fabia nodded.
"Well, while you get Fabia and Keith settled, me and my husband are going to have a nice long talk in his room," Alice smiled innocently before grabbing the back of Jaden's shirt and began to pull him up the stairs.
"Oh shit," Jaden muttered in fear.
Flashback end
'And that's how I ended up looking like a piece of crap,' Jaden thought as he sighed. 'Well good news was at least Nozomi treated my injuries.' Jaden thought with a smile
"Well let's begin our lesson for today, we are going to work on languages today," Alice smiled. "Russian to be more precise,"
"This is going to be a long day,' Jaden sighed.
The team had met Jaden and Alice in the computer room, at the moment they were introducing themselves.
"It's nice to meet you all, and I hope Jaden and Dharak haven't caused you all too much trouble," Alice said, which made Jaden frown a bit.
"Not at all," Nobu replied.
"Well from what he told me I wouldn't count on it," Alice commented. "They are always causing trouble whether they like it or not,"
"So you're stuck here?" Tai asked.
"Pretty much, the means we used to come was a one-way trip," Hydranoid answered.
"Which means, we're still stuck in this deadbeat dimension," Dharak said in a dull tone.
"Oh we wouldn't be sad if you've left," Yaamon said.
"I know because I couldn't care less of weak opponents like you," Dharak said.
"Enough both of you!" Alice raised her voice, she didn't deal with petty arguments. "Regardless, we are to treat each other with respect,"
"Respect? I was patient and respectful at first with Mr. Trigger happy for awhile." Jaden said
"I say you need a better husband Alice, after all, he did cheat on you here," Xeno mocked.
Alice shook her head, now seeing why Jaden was frustrated with this universe Xeno and why his patience ran thin but she'll be calm and steady with this Xeno as he helped her like he did Jaden.
"Yeah, our Xeno's not really a stickler for respect," Davis admitted.
"Oh shut up Motomiya I don't give your two cents," Xeno growled.
"Maybe you need a better personality," Yolei commented which only made Xeno glare before turning his head.
Hydranoid groaned. "I'm starting to see why Jaden lost it." Understanding the situation now, how his friends have to deal with him for 3 years now was a mystery.
"I still want my father's guns back," Xeno told Jaden.
"Why so that you could just point them at the one who just pisses you off for the slightest provocation?" Jaden hissed back.
"They are the only things I have left of him," Xeno said desperately.
"Again, would your father approve of your current behavior right now?" Jaden said
"He wouldn't… but I rather have them on my person than an ugly interdimensional man," Xeno stated.
Alice recoiled a bit by what Xeno said. "He didn't." she just said, knowing what Jaden went through before joining the Vexos as well as what Haou went through.
Jaden glared at Xeno with eyes filled with hate. "You know I was going to give you the guns, but that last remark ruined any chance you have of ever getting them back." Jaden snarled before walking out of the room. "I'm out of here."
"Damn!" Xeno growled before punching a table completely destroying it. "I need to get those back,"
Alice then walked over to Xeno and slapped Xeno hard leaving a red handprint on his face, shocking everyone in the computer room.
"Damn, what was that for?" Xeno glared but was shocked to see Alice glaring harder at Xeno.
"Listen to me, you don't know what Haou had to go through or what happen at Duel Academy so keep your mouth shut," Alice said with a voice filled with venom.
"That's his prob-" Xeno tried to say before Alice interrupted
"I said shut up and be quiet, I told Jaden that I'll try to be patient with you but clearly I'm starting to see his point," Alice said with a cold tone, leaving Xeno sweating in fear.
Meanwhile, the DigiDestined were surprised by Alice's shift in behavior.
"Man, Alice sure is scary when she's mad," Davis said as he watched the scene
"That's a Supreme Queen for you," Dharak said
"Supreme Queen?" Nobu thought.
"She's a hundred times more scary than Jaden," Patamon said as he shivered in fear
"Tch you should see Stella back in the past, she's scarier," Dharak muttered
"Yeah doesn't sound like a good picture," Cody commented.
Xeno, who still sweated, gathered enough pride to speak. "I don't care," but instantly, he regretted it as Alice glared at him harder, causing Xeno to once again be afraid of her. 'I hate feeling fear, it's almost like 3 years ago,' Xeno thought, clenching his fists tight enough to cause blood to drop to the floor.
"It's always a natural response." Alice suddenly spoke as her eyes took on a soft look again. "Even though we're afraid of Prime Apocalypse as well as Chaos Breaker, we still fight on," Alice said.
"I fear nothing!" Xeno shouted as he punched the table hard.
"Your lying to yourself," Alice told him
Xeno began to shake again before glaring at Alice than at the others. "I'm out of here!" Xeno growled as he grabbed Yaamon in his arms before he left the room slamming the door so hard shattered the glass.
"Wow, I think you hit a nerve," Davis commented.
"I was always good at reading emotions," Alice commented.
"Maybe this will help him, I know that underneath that idiot is just someone in pain," Yolei said in a sad tone while Alice just looked at her.
"I've dealt with idiots before and my husband happens to be one of the more annoying," Alice smiled
"What is a Supreme Queen anyway? Because from what Dharak said there was more than one." Nobu asked.
"Yeaah, you know Jaden is the Supreme King right?" Alice asked, which the others nodded, "the supreme queen is the wife of the supreme king or the other way around, and there are alot of supreme queens so to keep the bloodline going,"
"So he just marries as many girls as he wants?" Kari asked.
"Basically arranged marriage for most of them," Alice said.
"Many Digimon take multiple mates as well," Gatomon pointed out.
"So that's why he was hitting on Nozomi, that hound," Davis smirked before Kari elbowed him in the gut. and Alice glared at him.
"That may have been appropriate in the past but this is the present now." Alice hissed.
"I was just joking, jeez, so you're ok with it though?" Davis asked politely.
"It depends." Dharak grinned.
"Depends on what?" Nobu asked.
"Well most of our friends are reincarnations of the Supreme Queens, so reluctantly I'm alright with it." Alice sighed.
"Jeez that must be tough sharing your husband with other girls like that," Kari said with sympathy.
"The only lead on the others was that I was the only reincarnation to have children with him." Alice sighed but inwardly grinned at her win.
"Well, we should be getting home," Nobu said, although he knew about the Supreme King and Queens, along with the other two people that came along as well.
"Yes, and I need to go see how Jaden is doing, I'll see you all tomorrow and hopeful Keith and Fabia will be able to see you all too," Alice said before she left out the door stepping over the glass.
Jaden was currently in his room, still upset over Xeno's foolishness, a knock came from the door.
"Come in," Jaden groaned, Alice walked in.
"You ok?" Alice asked.
"No really, that brat is trying my patience, I feel like I have to kill him," Jaden answered.
"So I saw what you meant, and yes. He is a problem, but I was able to break him a little," Alice told him. "I saw it in his eyes, a mask of anger and hated covering fear,"
"Good, maybe that brat will learn to respect others before he dies," Jaden frowned.
"Doubt it by the time he does learn to respect others, brat will be dead," Dharak said.
"Good point," Jaden said.
"There is a chance to help him. I want to prevent him from becoming like Dragon and Spectra." Alice said, which Jaden just looked at her. "Jaden I love you, but no one should become like you,"
"I'm 20x better than that kid, how can he be my uncle's counterpart? I can hardly know," Jaden said as he pulled out one of the pistols before tossing it on the desk. "So what do you think of the others?"
"I think they are all good kids, with the right guidance they'll be great heroes," Alice said as she sat down next to him. "I just wish we could go home and see the kids," she did not like leaving them alone. They are with Jaden's parents but with Prime Apocalypse and Chaos Breaker out in their universe, it scared her to be away from them for too long.
Jaden wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "We'll get back to them, I promise," Jaden said as he attempted to kiss her before she just shoved him.
"I'm still mad at you," Alice said.
"Oh come on?" Jaden moaned, sad that Alice was still upset at him.
"Oh come on… you chase after someone in this world not long after you arrive, of course, I would be angry," Alice glared at him before getting up. "I'll be sleeping in my room across from Fabia thank you," she said before leaving.
"It's like I can never win with her," Jaden said, rubbing the back of his head.
"Well in our defense we did need a place to stay." Dharak stated.
"Yes, but no in Alice's eyes," Jaden replied. "Should get some rest, especially since we'll be dealing with that brat tomorrow."
Meanwhile, A figure was staring at the building across the street and was smirking.
'So this is the world you slinked off to, my old friend," the figure smirked before he vanished,

Davis stood soaking wet in the rain sadly staring in the sky. As Kari was in her room window as she sadly watched the heavy rains continue to fall. Davis was now walking, his hair covering his eyes as memories of his friends and their Digimon appeared behind him smiling as he continued to aimlessly walk, Kari was now outside soaking wet, as she walked down the sidewalk she remembered her time with Davis as kids. Xeno was in his home with a sorrowful expression as a dark void showing his father's death and his younger self crying in pain, as his scared eye closed. Davis walked past a window that showed a reflection of himself as a kid playing with Kari, both smiling and laughing. Yolei and Cody at her house watching the rain fall. Kari now passed a park and saw a swing, she then saw a younger Davis pushing her younger self high on the swing before it faded, making her sigh as she continued to walk. TK was laid on his bed, as the memory of Angemon's sacrifice still haunted him, before he closed his eyes and fell into slumber. Ken sat in his chair typing on his computer, before looking out the window as his shadow took the shape of the Digimon Emperor. Davis stopped as he realized he was in front of his old school, as an image of him and Kari were walking home from school before they faded from sight. Meanwhile at Nobu's house, he was practicing kendo with his younger brother Sai, while his mother Sakura was treating a patient in her office, and his sister Haruka was lounging in the house while it rained outside. Davis stopped at a sidewalk, he look up and saw Kari standing across the street, both digidestined eyes widen as they both walked to each other and smiled looking into each others eyes as they slowed leaned in as the rains slowly began to stop, as they kissed the clouds slowly went away as a beam of light shined on them, as their crests appeared in the sky above them.
