Collision Effect
She was a little elfin fairy: tiny and fair. Yet so breakable, like glass. Her waves of long blond locks, like rays from the sun, shine, making her look ethereal. And her mind, filled with pure images, in which she would try to convey into art forms. Her soul's fragility, young and confused, afraid of her very own talent and, just… Wanting to be herself.
He was a comical, distant leprechaun: money finding its way to him at every turn and confounding the world with his brilliance. His hands could work magic, and he would dazzle the eyes of anyone who looked at his works of art. Faked smiles and jokes, never serious and never ever letting anyone get close enough to see who he truly was. Ever.
They. Collided.
And, the sparks began to fly.
They both fell, him falling first, with her falling close behind. He denied and made small of his feelings, while she couldn't even name the emotion in the first place. Yet, both were falling, awkwardly, steadily, like this was the only way things could go. Both ran away, unsure, not understanding, but would always, always, turn back. To look, look… Like they couldn't keep their eyes off each other. Like the other is all they could see.
And both would wonder; why they feel like this? Confused, mind-blank, already knowing, yet not truly knowing, really. Best to avoid it completely, they thought. Eventually, there will be understanding, and things will be normal again, they thought…
It. Is. Inevitable.
Don't name this feeling. Not yet, yet…

A/N: Finally! A Morita x Hagumi fanfic! XD They're my favourite couple in this series, and I was sooo disappointed when I couldn't find a single fanfic with MoriHagu in it. x.xSo, I decided to write one myself! XD It's been a while since I did abstract writing, so my words are probably all chopped up and awkward... Well, I tried my best, so yeah... XD
lol, I was inspired to do this song listening to "Collide". It just has all the awkward romance thing and running away that I feel about MoriHagu, yet it was sung in a light, airy, sweet way, with undertones of seriousness, which is just so perfect for this couple. lol, to the best of my knowledge, being inspired by a song does NOT make it a songfic, so ha! to the haters who would use any excuse to delete your story. :mumbles: Sorry, had bad experiences in a particular fandom... Eheh. XD
Hmm, what else? lol, I don't think I portrayed MoriHagu right, because their characters are just so complex and weird. Especially Morita. So sorry for the bad characterization... And I probably wrote this story too abstractly... I have a feeling that if I didn't state that the two people I'm talking about are Morita and Hagumi, no one would realize. :dies:I mean, the wholeelfin fairy andleprechauns?That sounds insane, even to me. :sighs: I dunno, it just seemed to work for me... Eheh. x.x
