Check out Naomi's Gift, Melione's Curse by MikaRauch on Wattpad to see an awesome Original Story I am writing. This one comes with a lot of gods from all sorts of myths.

I am writing another epic story called Heirs to Misfortune on Wattpad as well, so check that out too.

And finally, a Hades/Persephone love story called A Dance Among Equals.

P.S. I just got Grammarly, which is really helping my spelling, grammar, and word choice so I hope you notice improvement...

Short but powerful, enjoy.

"You look handsome," Hades muttered as he adjusted Aaron's black and silver toga. "Are you sure you are ready for this? You don't have to be here to punish Octavian, when he is killed he will be punished in my realm for all time." The rage of the God of the Dead was intense, a palpable aura of wrath so great it warped the world around him. Aaron had to squint while looking at his lover.

Reaching up, he forced the man to smile. "I will be well, love, I can do this. The shock was great, I know, but I am calm again. I can even control my new hand to near perfection. " He reached up with his ivory hand, twitching his fingers to make his point. "I need to retrain with my blade but I should be fine. I am not dead, which is a blessing all its own."

"One I thank the Fates for daily."

They shared a kiss then, soft and simple and sweet before Aaron pulled back. "Watch from the Shadows, as is your desire, and enjoy the wrath of the trial. I have a feeling Octavian is going to get railed. I have made quite a few positive changes here in this place, I don't think the others will tolerate his crap."

Hades' smirk was delightful. "I will do just that. I cannot wait to put him through judgment, I have quite a bit planned for the foolish boy."

"That does make me very pleased. We'll talk about that later, but for now, I have to go to the trial. See you later, love." He turned on heel, away from the Great God, and marched out of his room and onward to the Senate House of New Rome. It would be so much fun, this day, the day that Octavian was finally dealt with... it would be delightful and great and wonderful to watch him suffer despite the immense power and wealth of his bloodline.

Aaron made it to the Senate house in record time, happily striding into the building and sitting next to where D'Anthony would normally have Octavian as the Augur in training sit. It was a new honor, one that had been announced to the collective of Rome, to great applause. He could not wait for Octavian to see where he sat, a physical reminder of his loss of power and place among the Romans and even of the Gods themselves.

Within minutes of his coming to the Senate house, Octavian was brought out in chains at D'Anthony's command. Octavian was bruised and battered and thinner than normal. His aura was weak, his divine powers almost nonexistent. A sorry state indeed.

"Octavian, you are hereby accused of assault, attempted murder of a priest and member of the Legion. How is it you plea, before the Senate and the Gods above?"

The prisoner sneered. "Not Guilty, Aaron is the reason I lot my power of Prophecy. He is in an interloper, vile and wicked, a defiler of tradition and the rightful order of the Gods."

Aaron rolled his eyes, but some part of him felt fear seeing the genuine insanity that lay within Octavian's soul. It was no longer hiding, it was clear as day and it was incredibly ugly. A stain on the world.

D'Anthony, to his credit, only sighed. "Aaron has served Rome and the Gods with more loyalty and decency than nearly any of us. He serves with wisdom, helping us with our low weapon stock, masking the entrance to the Maze, slaying Lycaon, and opening access to Hecate's Library. He gained a greater connection to a neglected God, one we have long disgraced. He will do the same for Neptune one day and we will be all the better for it."

Octavian almost foamed at the mouth. "THOSE GODS ARE UNWORTHY, MEANT TO BE BENEATH US ALL AND LORD APOLLO! HE SWORE TO ME GREATNESS, YOU CANNOT DENY ME THIS!"

"Enough of this!" D'Anthony called out, turning to the stunned faces of the Senate and the Lares. "I think it is clear what must be done... All for the Death Penalty?" Not a single person or ghost resisted raising their hands. "Then it is settled." Grabbing his sword, D'Anthony descended to a squirming, terrified Octavian. "For your crimes, you shall be put to death."

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS, I WAS TO BE PONTIFEX MAXIMUS! I WAS TO RULE ROME, HE SWORE IT TO ME! HE SWO-" Octvain stopped his bitching in that moment as his head rolled across the floor of the senate.

"May Pluto have mercy on your bitter soul."

Aaron knew it was not to be, he could actually feel Octavian's soul being grabbed by Pluto's power and yanked to the Underworld where it would suffer for all time. He wanted to be smug about it, but he realized watching the boy scream that the was clearly unstable and that it was only the veil of power that kept the world from seeing it. All Aaron felt was a pity... and so he prayed.

'Pluto... let him be reborn soon. Brain chemistry cannot be helped... and frankly, he was broken. Nurture or nature, something was broken, may he be better in his next life.' Standing, Aaron quickly left the Senate and hurried to the Temple of Zeus. It was time for an Augury... it was time to begin his newest role to begin.
