I am mostly caught up with Aaron's story, there are a few chapters I need to read but I am feeling good.

This Chapter is big you guys...

Reyna was as stunned as the rest of the Romans when the Shrine to Neptune and his ilk started glowing a deep sea green, a shining aura that filled the world with tremendous power. She was doubly stunned with Pluto's shrine did the same, only his a dark velvety black. She was terrified but approached it alongside the rest of her people, recognizing a summoning. Her time with Circe made it very, very clear to her.

D'Anthony, handsome and sleek as always, approached her. "What is it Reyna?" He knew of her past, one of the few that did, he trusted her judgment.

"It is a summoning, I am not sure for what but we are to be here. All of us."

"Very well... ROMANS TO THE SHRINES!"

The Romans were nothing if not organized and obedient, Within ten minutes they were all there, waiting at the shrines for their next command.

It was then that the auras expanded as if to touch each other, and from them came five beings. The first she recognized was Aaron, radiating power and skill. His ivory hand glowing against the dark godly energies. He seemed taller, odd as that was since he was only gone for a week. She could scarcely believe he was that tall, over six feet, and that muscular. She could see his rippling muscles underneath his tight black shirt and jeans.

To his right were Pluto and Proserpina, beautiful and lethal, oozing power and darkness. She, sensitive to magical energy given her time with Circe, could feel their presence more fully than most. To his left, she saw Neptune and whom she presumed was Lady Salacia, standing tall and regal, both carrying their trident and staves respectively. Combined, the four gods plus Aaron was almost deafening to her senses.

All of the Roman's kneeled, D'Anthony spoke them all. "My Lords and Ladies, how can we serve you?" His voice was trembling, she couldn't blame that at all.

Sweet laughter broke out among the gods, she recognized it as Aaron's laughter. "Do you ever get used to that Pluto?" His casual talk with the gods made gasps and whispers break out in the crowd.

"Never... now, address your people."

"Rise Romans, the gods in question have something very serious to discuss with you all. Especially Reyna, the Fauns and Lorane." The boy might have said more but Lydia his beloved wolf tackled him to the ground, licking his face. "I missed you too, baby but I am busy... yes, I will play with you later. I am sorry I haven't been around." Standing he waved the slobber away with a spelled hand. "Anyway this is a huge deal, like it could rewrite our history and this entire damn war."

D'Anthony rose. "What do you need of them and us?"

"I just spoke to Oceanus, he was fighting my Stepfather for some time and his reasons are so valid even Jupiter cannot deny them. I will not go too into it, but a big part of it is the pollution of his and his children's realm. I cannot be everywhere, delegation is a thing you know, so I have declared that the Fauns will be serving the Lord Oceanus and his ilk by using their vast powers to undo the pollution and damage. Reyna, You have experience with magic and are a great leader. I want you to work with Lorane, who is also a good leader, on assigning and monitoring the Fauns where they go."

Reyna nodded, standing tall. "I would be honored."

Lady Prosperina and Lady Salacia approached her, with the Underworld Goddess speaking. "We will bless you, to allow you to receive the messages of the Fresh bodies of water and to sense their need. You will be able to channel the power of nature as well, so you can serve this purpose. " She turned to the Fauns and glared. "You willa ll get off your lazy asses and do something. You cannot keep on complaining about nature but do nothing. It is long past due that you earn your keep. Reyna and Lorane will be your Mistresses, and Aaron Your master. If you refuse you will be denied rebirth entirely." Reyna saw the Fauns shiver in terror. "Faunus would be disgusted by your inaction. You are as much as part of the damage to the World and Wilds as the worst of mortals.

D'Anthony, Aaron will be joining us to give Oceanus' terms to Jupiter. There was more of them than we'd like but we cannot deny his right. Do what you can to help on this front. If a faun refuses to obey this command, feel free to kill them. We will not punish you for it so long as the reasons are genuine.

Wolves that serve Aaron, you will be assigned to the Fauns going to the most dangerous areas, with the mightiest monsters nearby. We know you do not serve us, but you care for nature. Can you do this for us?"

Dylan, Aaron's Beta, approached the Goddess. "We can do that."

"Good... however we would never ask you to do something for nothing. In return, you will be allowed access to our realms freely. You will need it when you aid Aaron in raising his children."

Reyna choked. " Children, he is like what sixteen?"

The Goddesses laughed. "He has agreed to raise one of My children when the war is over, and he and Pluto have been lovers for a time. They may raise their own children down the line. It will not be for some time, but it will happen."

There was more murmurs but no one was dumb enough to say a word against Aaron. Reyna herself was amazed. the raw influence that would give to a mortal would be... catastrophic... she had never heard of one holding that kind of sway outside of the Emperors of old.

"Now, if that is all... we have a meeting among the gods to get to. Be well, Romans." The Goddesses said and then they vanished in a swirl of power, taking Aaron with then,

Reyna stood, her sense of duty too strong to not start immediately. "Fauns, to me. We have our orders. I will not take no for an answer. If this will serve the war, then we have much to do."

No one questioned her or groaned, they knew better.

""'

Aaron stumbled as they teleported to Olympus, the power of the gods overwhelming to his newly evolved wolfish senses and his stronger magical ones. However what was most shocking was not this crash to his senses but the scent of some very familiar figures. " Percy, Meggy, Sally... and who is this?" It was a handsome mortal man who, like Aaron, lacked a trace of divine blood. The man was shaking, sweat on his brow, and Aaron knew the cause. Chanting a simple spell, he placed his hands on the man's brow. Instantly, the man calmed down. "Why bring him here?"

Amphitrite sighed. "It is part of my gift to Percy and Sally. I will explain shortly. "She turned to the Gods, the Powerful Olympians. "There are many reasons we are here, as you all know we just had a meeting with Oceanus about his choice to serve Kronos... well, his reasons were vast and reasonable to be honest. Before that, I wish to offer my apologies to Sally and her love Paul Blofis." She smiled to the couple. "I do have my reasons for summoning you here. Percy, you have served our people so well and for so long, I thought it would be kind to offer my blessing to this mortal so he can see through the Mist. I struggle to exist outside of the Water due to my status as a Nereid, so doing this among the gods makes it easier. I also wanted to do this among the gods so all would not question this."

Paul was stuttering. "What is going on, Sally?"

Sally sighed. "The Gods, the Greek ones, exist Paul. My son is a demigod son of Posiden and my stepson here is a powerful Sorcerer that serves a great deal many gods. I can see through the veil that separates the gods from the mortals... I wanted to tell you but I could not find a way to do so. Are you afraid now?"

The man laughed, a lovely warm sound. "Afraid, I am awed. This is amazing!" The man turned to Aaron. "You're really a sorcerer?"

"Yup and like you I have no ties by blood to the gods. It took sheer effort but I managed."

"Wow... that is incredible... Where is Percy's dad?" Aaron pushed him to Posiden, who smiled. "Nice to meet you, Posiden. My name is Paul, a great kid you have."

"The best. "Posiden said, smiling. "My stepson is pretty amazing too. He has done a great many services to the gods. If Hades hadn't snatched him up, I may have tried to date him instead."

Aaron flushed. " Thank you, you flatter me but we are here for a reason." He turned to Sally. "I do miss you, but my pilgrimage is pretty important."

She nodded. "I heard as much from Meggy. Lady Hera has been keeping her informed and through her me."

"Thank you Hera." Aaron turned and beamed at his patron, who nodded with a warm smile.

"I care for Sally, she is a loving mother." The Goddess of Mothers said. " She has inspired me for something big..." She gulped. " But I will get to it later."

Amphitrite stepped forward. "I know what you are talking about, it may come sooner rather than later. Oceanus had many, many demands. The first is that his children's rivers and ponds be cleaned. Aaron has many people working on that... however you Hera are a part of why he fights the Gods. Or rather your horrible marriage. The abuses and cheating of Zeus towards you plays a big part. I brought Sally and Paul to show you that too can make a better choice, to be happy past marriage."

Zeus thundered. "I do not abuse my wife!"

The Queen of the Seas snarled. "You cheat, you lie, you threaten her with your masterbolt on the daily. How is that not abuse!"

"You would do well to not disrespect me, Amphitrite !" Zeus glared.

"And you would do well to remember that I helped train Athena, that she has never beaten me in battle. I am far superior to you in combat. Try and I will happily kick your ass." The room shook with the power to the two gods, but before Aaron could stop this, Hera stood from her throne.

"Enough... Oceanus is more a father to me than Rhea ever was. He is right to worry... " She shuddered. "My Children, those mortal beings that serve me in as The Hunters do Artemis, have taught me much. I have much to make up for and much to do for myself. Zeus, you have wronged me much, and I allowed myself to become cruel as a result. Divorce is a part of marriage and my marriage is a joke. As the Goddess of Marriage, I end my marriage to Zeus." The world could have ended then, but Aaron would have been too stunned to care.

The same could have been said for them all. Every god was looking at Hera in that much shock. Ares approached his mother. " Are you sure?"

She shuddered, the Queen of the Skies looking all too mortal. "Your father raped me, Ares, that is what started our marriage My marriage was broken before it started." She turned to Hephestus. " I channel my power from all mothers. I have met many in my time on earth. I think I suffered from Postpartum depression, which is not an excuse, but I think it played a part in my I threw you from Olympus. I will make amends to you, my son. I swear by Styx to do so."

Her son was so stunned by this, he fell from his throne, making Hera sigh and lift him up, ignoring her exhusband as he sputtered out. "You.. you... you cannot do this to me!"

She turned, glowing and growing with every word. "YOU RAPED ME, YOU THREATENED ME DAILY, YOU CONTROLLED ME, YOU CHEATED WITH EVERYTHING THAT HAD A HEARTBEAT. YOU RAPED OUR SISTER AND YOUR DAUGHTER PERSEPHONE." She was growling at the end, turning to Demeter, who was pale and shaking at that reminder." Do you know that your brother desired Persephone so much, so deeply, that Hades agreed to kidnap her in order to save her from Zeus?"

It was Demeter's turn to grow and glow, her power causing even Zeus to quiver in fear. "WHAT!"

Hera's smirk was nasty. "I only knew recently, one of my children is the daughter of one of Persephone's most loyal nymphs. She taught me quite a lot actually. Hades is worth more than all of us... and we treated him like garbage for eons. We are no better then our father."

Demeter turned to Hades. "Why, why not tell me?"

Hades sighed. "The mortals have a game called the telephone game. Where a message is passed from person to person until the actual message is warped and unclear. I feared that had already happened by the time you found out. You were distraught. Posiden and Zeus had both raped you, and I took your firstborn. You were too broken to hear what I had to say.

More so, why have you never guessed? I was never cold or cruel. I protected you from Father in the war and we cuddled often in his belly. You turned on me with the rest of them? I should also point out this. Persephone is the most powerful second-generation god, by far. Stronger than even Apollo with all his domains and favor. She was the Goddess of Flower and had the power of the Earth rushing through her long before she was a Queen. She knew that the Pomegranate seeds were going to bind her, she knew it the moment she saw them. They are flowering plants after all, in her domain. She chose to stay, not out of love at first but to stay under my protection from Zeus. She saw what his abuse did to your mind."

Demeter trembled and collapsed to her knees, sobbing loudly. Persephone rushed to her mother, whispering sweet things in her ear. Aaron could not hear their words but he sensed the ease they brought the Powerful Goddess.

"What else did Oceanus ask for, Aaron?" Hera asked, her tone soft and powerful.

Aaron gulped, terrified. "He asked for Metis to be released and Zeus to be punished for eating her in the first place."

The room exploded in rage and the gods began to squabble.

::

Athena loathed Aaron, he was too powerful and too influential. However, when he said those words, speaking of the release of her mother, she gained a soul deep care for the boy. She turned to her father, who was purpling with rage and hate, and used her power and the Aegis she owned to stop his power from harming Aaron the moment her arrogant father thrust his lighting at the boy.

"ATHENA, YOU DARE STAND AGAINST ME!" Her father rose to his feet, growing to massive size and threatened her with his bolt.

She glared back. "You consumed my mother, who's only crime was helping you overthrow your father. The prophecy only said her second child would go against you. All you had to do was break apart from her, instead, you ate her. I cannot be the only one to loathe you for that. Metis was popular amongst the Titans and Gods that aided us."

Posiden stepped forward, his power expanding to fill the room. "Stand down brother, it is time you faced your crimes. Should you refuse, we will turn against you and strip you of your divinity."

"I AM THE KING!"

"You are a petulant child." Demeter whispered though they all heard her. "Your crimes are far too many to list... if you do not accept your punishment, you will suffer for it. I will not rest until you are a mortal in Hades' perpetual care."

Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite and Dionysius all stood up at glared at Zeus. "You cannot face us all, father." They said as one and Zeus almost frothed at the mouth.

He waved his hands at them, but nothing happened. " What, you should have been rendered mortal from that?"

Hera laughed, a cold cruel sound. "You forget brother, you only have that power as long as we all agree to it. You cannot just take our powers, it must be something agreed to. You passed that law before power corrupted you, at Themis' prodding. A wise choice of our dear aunt."

It was then that her father stopped frothing, hateful and angry he was, but stupid he was not. "What will my punishment be?"

Hera stood tall, her posture and power reminding the world she was still a queen. "You will release Metis from your body and allow her a position on this council. Even I missed her and her incredible advice. You will grant Oceanus and those that serve him leniency, they are only trying to better their lives and those they serve. You will allow me to remain queen, and you will have all of your choices carefully monitored by Metis and Themis, who will be allowed to also have a position on this council. Her wisdom is greater than even Athena's. We are sorely missing it.

You will take on the pain you have caused our sister, our niece and Metis. This is least you can do, especially if it stops a force as powerful as Oceanus from rebelling. Lastly, you will swear a vow on Chaos itself to never strike out against anyone here, those they care for and beyond. You will accept your punishment gracefully and without complaint... if you refuse any one of these, then We will make your mortal and hand you over to Oceanus himself."

Athena swore for a moment her father looked ready to kill them all, he gripped his Masterbolt hatefully, but even he knew when he was beat. "Very... very well. I agree."

The Power of Chaos bound the oath far more firmly than even Styx could, ensuring even Zeus could not break the oath.

Athena stepped forward, summoning a mixture of mustard and wine. " If you will?"

Her father glared at her hatefully but did indeed take her potion, drinking it down in one swig. Immediately he convulsed, bending over and groaning in agony before vomiting up her mother.

Athena's heart broke at the sight of her mother, near faded with a terribly weak aura. She was not that powerful, broad shoulders blonde haired woman she knew. Her grey eyes were broken and warped, dried tears on her hallow face. "Athena?" She whispered, her voice barely there.

The war goddess felt like she was stripped of all she was, and all that remained was the broken child that cried out for her mother. She rushed to her, ignoring the slobber and mucus on her skin and lifted her up. "It is me, mother. You have been freed from Zeus' stomach."

Metis nodded. " I am so tired... dear... I need ambrosia and nectar..." She feel then, in her daughter's arms.

"APOLLO!"

Her brother rushed over, his strong hands roaming over her mother. " She has been out of the water for too long, her lifeforce is waning... even with Posiden and I together we may not be enough."

Aaron then stepped forward. "A shrine and worship might help her."

Apollo nodded. "That would help..."

"Then Meggy and I will ensure Shrines are made for her in our respective locations. Take her to the Ocean, that will help." Athena then swore to help the boy from that moment on, her hate of him vanishing entirely.

Amphitrite stepped forward. "I will take her, it is time I get back myself." She glared at Zeus once more, then vanished in a swirl with Apollo and Metis, leaving gaping silence in the Throne room.

The gods all went back to their thrones. Hera, still the queen, turned to the mortals. " I think this should be enough for Oceanus... tell him what we have done and send him my love."

Aaron nodded. "I will, Lady Hera."

"I know you will...now, the gods have much to discuss. You are all dismissed. Know that you go with my blessings."

Athena nodded. " And mine."

The mortals then vanished as Hades took them all, with Persephone's aid, leaving the gods to discuss all that went on.

Zeus would not get out of this very easily, that much was clear. Athena saw him losing even more of his power and respect. As it was, without the power of her strong mother fueling him, Zeus was now only slightly above Posiden and Hades, not substantially. He would weaken even further the longer she was away. Athena would be delighted for that to happen...

In fact, she could not wait.

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was a long time coming. Athena is Zeus's strongest Olympian daughter. I cannot see Metis being a weak Goddess... I have a huge idea for her, you all will love!

Love, your Ninja Overlord,
