Episode #29 - Morgana's Big Adventure
Tayla: And now, our opening introduction by Morgana/Mona...
Morgana: I'm the best of the team – known as the Phantom Thief of Hearts or Team Phantom...However you like to call us of the know it all navigator Morgana. Also I go by a code name, Mona. I have wind to air powers to use from slingshots, sword skills, turning into a car, created by Igor from the Velvet Room to guide Joker who's known as the leader of the Phantom Thieves, Madame Keiko Amamiya. For her and Goro Akechi/Black Crow and the Ace Detective Prince to be married and for me to live with as their guardian, not a pet since I may look like a cat in the real world, I am human to have this appearances in the Metaverse parts. Loved by Lady Lavenza, daring to take any Shadow in battle, care foe my other team mates too; weirdo Ryuji/Skull, lovely Lady/Panther, odd one Yusuke/Fox, smart one Makoto/Queen, hacker Futaba/Oracle, my favorite student Haru/Noir who was once called Beauty Thief, and Sophia/Sophie who's new and an unknown AI. Also other good Personas Loki, Picaro, and Kaguya on our side, and an officer human name Zenkichi Hasegawa. He's cool as Akechi's teacher/step-father. So I love suichi or fish related sea food, making tools, get lots of treasure, try to be more human someday, and follow the code of honor of a thief and a gentlemen to the ladies...Or I would've if I didn't look like a walking sumo monster! AAAAH! Yep, me! Mona, myself has become a fatty as tall as a light pole to get cursed from the Coco-Fudges to make me like this. And worse compare back in the real world and the Metaverse of Hyodo's Jail we just entered into made me turned into this...thing to be huge and still alive! Joker...Please help me, change me back to normal...!
And the reaction on everyone else's faces to see Morgana like this...? Well, Keiko and Akechi feel bad for him.
Keiko: Mona, no! Why did you eat more of the Coco-Fudges?!
Morgana: I don't know...! I loss control!
This has Akechi study on Morgana's body to learn something very carefully from looks and feeling.
Akechi: ….Strange.
Ann: We need to fix up Mona! Is there a way?!
Sophia: Not unless he stops eating these sweets like Black Crow said.
Some of them were a bit grossed out or laughing at this.
Ryuji: *chuckle* Hahahaha! Wow! Oh man, this is so funny to look at!
Not only was Ryuji laughing, but Futaba too.
Futaba: It's Garfield and Felix combined to double fatty-mc-fattern-son!
This wasn't funny at all.
Yusuke: Disgusting...! I do feel sorry for you, Mona.
Makoto: This isn't funny, Skull. Oracle, you too.
Soon with Loki, Picaro, and Kaguya arriving there next...
Loki: Oh. God dammit, you're shitting me. I saw this one coming.
Picaro: Well, that sucks...! Ha!
Now both Loki and Picaro were laughing at Morgana to be like this.
Kaguya: I don't find this to be funny at all. I'm sorry.
Well, some felt bad for Morgana while the others were laughing at this.
Morgana: This is not funny!
Akechi: Everyone, please! This is serious right now.
Soon enough – someone speaks up to defend Morgana a lot more.
Haru: Stop it!
Keiko: Noir?
Haru: All of you leave poor Mona-Chan alone! He made a mistake, and he learned a lesson. So you don't have to keep picking on him like this. We'll change him back to normal while still do what we do best.
Wow! Strong words from Haru made Morgana feel better and the other to be left speechless.
Futaba: My bad. Sorry, Mona.
Loki and Picaro: Us too.
While Ryuji was still the only one laughing about Morgana's condition.
Morgana: Skull...!
Ryuji: What?! I can't stop laughin' at this-! Ouch!
But Ann took care of it to keep her boyfriend in check.
Ann: Cut it out! Mona, we got your back and solve you problem. Just no more Coco-Fudge for you.
Morgana: Thank you, Noir. You too, Panther. You guys are the best. Same with you too, Black Crow and Joker.
Now we have all learn a lesson here...
Ryuji: Fine, sorry...
Ann: Kisses, Skull. I still love you.
Kaguya: Well, I'm happy we've solved a problem with a very important lesson of course. Well done, Picaro.
Picaro: Yeah, yeah, Kaguya.
Loki: But at least I stopped since I didn't keep on being a complete dick.
Yeah, like Akechi's Persona and old Shadow's the one to talk. Ha! Now to get back to the task at hand for a few things to be done. For one of them had Akechi to know something from Morgana's body to test out first.
Akechi: Let's not laugh at someone's appearances again please. Now then, Mona. Could you do a few things for me?
Morgana: But I'm too-! Huh?
Poking him to pull out his sword to be from small size, and to change bigger for Morgana to wield it well like regularly. And the same of summoning his Persona Zorro to look the same, slingshot weapon, and his air/wind powers to use in battle.
Keiko: Oh, I see...Your appearances only changed, not your powers to become part of you regularly. But, Black Crow, how did you know?
Loki: Now this I gotta hear.
Morgana: I'm as confused as the rest of you are. Yeah, please tell me everything!
Knowing this Ace Detective Prince and a Phantom Thief member, Akechi did his homework to explain the rest of the class.
Akechi: Something to crave on like a drug and something to change your appearances, disguise as chocolate flavor sweets to get people hooked on to this thing while having their Desires changed without noticing a thing. They love Mayor Hyodo way too much to keep her running as their mayor in Sapporo once the whole Gegasite taking their Desires for energy and making them into slaves while devouring something else affected in both our worlds. More in here to cause Morgana to become like this. But you can move more freely and lighter than heavier feeling, correct?
Morgana: Yes, I can.
Akechi: Can you use your powers, Persona, weapon, and gun all in check?
Morgana: I can.
Akechi: Can you still turn into a car?
Testing it out on himself real quick to change and then back to normal.
Morgana: A bit wide for a while, but I can. Just one thing different, I'm taller and stronger too besides my stomach to be a shield. Watch.
Testing it on a car a few times for Morgana to run normal, change into a car, become stronger, taller, and pushes back with his belly. As well as one other thing...
Haru: My...You can use your tail as a weapon like a whip.
Morgana: Whip it good.
Akechi: That's what I thought. It doesn't make you full in this world than back in the real world, Morgana's not affected.
Morgana: And what does this mean to me?
Getting some power and some fur off of Morgana's head a little, this might be a cure in Mariko Shadow's Snowy Jail.
Kaguya: We've seen cases like these to cure other Personas here. Leave this to us, maybe we can get our answers more about the past while we're at it. Come, Picaro, we have work to do.
Picaro: Ah...Yeah, what she said. We'll get you a cure and be near by while finding about our pasts too. So...Don't let tons of snow collapse on you thieves. Later!
From the sisters to find Morgana a cure 'along with everyone else', Loki notices that someone else was watching on them too.
Loki: They got their job, and I got mine. Someone's spying...
Keiko: Where?
Loki: I'll see what I can do and catch up in a bit. Just go do your job. And cat, don't slow them down.
It seems Loki and Akechi felt it out too, Hans was nearby to be careful with and his shooting skills. So doing their jobs and finding a cure from the craving to the Coco-Fudges, fair enough.
Morgana: Heh...Like I'm going to do so...And I'm not a cat!
Yusuke: Then what are you suppose to be?
Morgana: Something from Master's creations and Lady Lavenza's help. It just happened. Look, they'll help me out and I won't slow anyone else down, thanks to Black Crow to aid me and I can still fight. Watch, I won't swallow anymore of those Coco-Fudges again. Just you watch me.
Akechi: Of course, Mona, I'm glad I could help. Whenever you're ready, Joker, we can get going.
It was for more exploring to do in this Jail to be very cold.
Keiko: Then stay warm and let's get going. Mona, we'll all do like we've been doing so far. (And get a cure. These cravings need to stop.)
Akechi: Then please lead us and we will follow you, my dear.
The two hugged and a little kiss on the lips to get going.
Keiko: Right, let's do this.
Good things the others didn't have it if Akechi didn't figured everything out, huh? And Morgana made an accident so he's the only one who can still fight and be himself other than his appearances changed for the time being. Arriving down below, more Shadow guards of Sentry appears to fight off the Phantom Thieves.
Sentry: Intruders! Get them!
Futaba: Shadows! Defeat them and move on!
It's fighting time then. With tons of new Shadows to face off with and some Gegasites...
Persona #41 - Lilim = powers of water storms
Persona #42 - Jack Frost = powers of snow
Powers of water and ice happening here, huh? Nothing for Keiko's fire along with Ann and Ryuji's powers can't handle against the element ones while the rest took on the others, before more kept on showing and regrouping so much.
Sophia: Not good, more Shadows are coming. We need to stop all of them with one hit.
Makoto: How can we?
Soon Morgana gets his tail stuck to another light pole to pull and release for a strong force to unleash at all of the Shadows.
Morgana: With one hit, huh? In that case...HEADS UP!
Bouncing all over the area like a giant pinball to hit all of the Shadows to go into the air, it was time to attack at them. And something new for Futaba to learn and to use in battle too as she just aided the team.
Futaba: Ooo...New attack here. Techno Claws! (I got a new attack! We're all getting stronger everyday.) Now! Everyone, strike at them while the Shadows are all in midair!
All together now...!
Keiko: Double Daggers of Darkness!
Ryuji: Lighting Flash Attack!
Morgana: I can still attack too! Blaze of Rage!
Ann: Flame Shooter!
Yusuke: Frozen Waves!
Makoto: Viper Sting!
Haru's: Petals of Doom!
Akechi: Double Edge Sword Take-down!
Sophia: SP Piercer!
And they're all destroyed 'most likely the fake Shadows of the Gegasites' doing for the other were taken out by Morgana's bowling ball of a body skills.
Futaba: Strike! Nice one, Mona!
Morgana: Don't thank me, thank my tail. (I think I can deal with the big body feeling for a little bit until we find all three Birdcages.)
From the cold to withstand and Morgana hanging in there.
Futaba: Too cold...Can't move...Can't I just wait here? Ah...Warmth...
Morgana: Oracle! Hey, I'm not a giant bear you can cling on to!
Futaba: But I need warmth!
Morgana: Fine...On my head or if I'm carrying you in my paws only, no more and no less.
I guess he'll allow it to be a warmth feeling at his size right now. But he cares on how much Futaba's not use to the cold like this one.
Yusuke: And absolutely not, Oracle, bad idea to stay here alone. What if Shadows ere to ambush you?
Sophia: Be strong, Oracle.
Keiko: And you might get sick if you're not in a warm shelter.
They need their hacker in everything they do no matter what happens.
Futaba: Brr...fine...
More work to be done. In Sapporo Jail – Suzushino, Morgana was fine to walk around to aid the team against other Sentries, Shadows to save, and Gegasites as the Fake Shadows the Phantom Thieves fight against with. Not bad for big and tall Morgana to still be himself. Soon from fighting, then using the spoon parts from above them on the building parts to climb on top of; and then finally on top of another building to zip lining on the other side 'other than Morgana using his tail to come in handy'.
Akechi: We go across one at a time. Mona will follow us last with his tail.
Sophia: Everyone in a single line then.
For him – Akechi/Black Crow and Keiko/Joker go first; followed by Ryuji/Skull, Ann/Panther, Yusuke/Fox, Makoto/Queen, Haru/Noir, Sophia/Sophie, Futaba/Oracle, and then Morgana/Mona follows the rest to make it across safely.
Morgana: Heh, how odd. I'm surprised I didn't break the line.
Keiko: It must be different in this Jail for someone not to have their area destroyed. Hyodo's the mayor to keep everything perfect. So with the line is as strong as steel...
Akechi: Then in the Summer time, Sapporo is Winter snow all the time. How odd...
Going back down the building to their next location, at Odori Park they go to. With empty streets of snow all over the area and lots of ice blocks all over to be easily slide over. Weird...And the first time to see and feel snow for Sophia to studying more of it 'with Futaba still riding on Morgana like a giant teddy bear'. Funny, but sweet at the same time.
Sophia: So this is what snow is like...Hehe, it's all white and crunchy.
Ryuji: Just don't roll around in it, Sophie. You blend in so much, we might lose ya.
He walks into on big snow pile and gets stuck for the others to get Ryuji of there.
Ann: Skull, be careful.
Yusuke: This is one place to never play in the snow in Hyodo's Shadow's Jail.
Same with Morgana to get his bottom half of his body stuck only, and Futaba got out of there first.
Futaba: Hey! Mona, be more careful where you walk! I almost got caught in the snow of doom.
Morgana: My bad...For today, I'm glad I'm not so short. *ah-choo*
Lucky when Morgana sneezed, cause tons of snow so big on top, it came falling down all over the other Shadows and the Gegasites to get frozen to death.
Haru: Wow, Mona! You're amazing! You did it once again!
Morgana: Ah...I just sneezed. That time wasn't my weight...Or rather, my lucky weight...For the time being!
He was hiding his feelings...Soon Futaba jumps on top of Morgana to not hurt him but to have fun.
Futaba: Hmmm...Wow! Hey, guys! Look! A bounce house Mona!
Sophia: I feels all bouncy jumping up and down.
Morgana: If you're going to jump on me, do my back! I need a massage!
It means to keep on jumping then.
Makoto, Ann, Yusuke, Sophia, Ryuji, and Futaba: OK!
Allowing them to jump around the back side better to feel relax for Futaba and Sophia to do so; soon the other Phantom Thief members do the same thing to have a little fun. Ryuji and Ann holding in the air, same with Yusuke and Makoto, and Akechi and Keiko too. While Haru joins in last to feel like a little kid again. A weird way to get a massage while jumping up and down on top of Morgana's back, to feel a bit refresh. He's lucky to be like this for now. If the others ate the Coco-Fudge instead, then it would be worse.
Haru: This is so much fun! Bouncy! Bouncy! Bouncy!
Keiko: It's like a real life trampoline!
Akechi: Not bad, Mona.
Ryuji: Bouncy-! DAMMIT!
Falling down in the snow again after jumping around a lot was fun, and seeing Ryuji fall down made everyone else laugh too for Morgana got him back up with his tail.
Morgana: Ah...They felt relaxing. Now if we're done, may we continue?
Keiko: You got it, Mona, thanks again. Ah, everyone. Check this out. Over there. (Look at these many ice shards blocking our other path.)
Akechi: Oh, look what Joker has found.
For the ten move up a bit closer to the icy walls, it seems to be more things on the other side. But they were unable to go through it right now.
Morgana: The castle should be just beyond here...
Akechi: Do you see anything through the ice?
Trying too for Morgana's height can see something was on the other side, but it was hard to tell since the ice was blurry.
Morgana: There's another path, but I don't know where it'll lead us to yet.
Haru: How far does this ice wall go?
Using Ann's fire powers to try melting the ice, it was no good at all.
Ann: Ah...It didn't work.
Makoto: Doesn't seem like we can just break through it...
And so far to see in Maruki Shadow's Jail of a Snowy World was not so wonderland-like at all.
Haru: This place is so cold and empty...It's chilling to think this is how someone sees the world.
Keiko: Noir... (Poor girl, we're all seeing Hyodo's Metaverse world to be so cold hearted.)
And still cold too, don't forget.
Futaba: It's over...for me...Getting...so sleepy...
She sounded a bit worried over nothing.
Sophia: Oracle has fainted.
Morgana: Hey, Oracle. No sleeping on the job. You're getting more piggyback rides.
Futaba: More warmness...
Having someone like Morgana helps out Futaba this one time of a ride.
Makoto: Come on, stop fooling around. There must be an alternate route somewhere...
Keiko: But, Queen. Where can we find another one at?
Looking around the entire street of the frozen town, they see there were not one, but two or a few other ones covered in ice.
Makoto: Hmm...That way is also blocked off...Then our only option is to follow this route. Let's take it as far as we can.
From only one entrance to take? It was the only way then.
Akechi: Nothing venture, nothing gain then. Until we try it out. Well done, Queen.
Makoto: I just thought if we don't go through another path, then we find a shortcut instead.
Yusuke: Very well, sweet Queen. We shall analyze our surroundings and find a proper solution.
No matter how cold it gets, they still need to keep on going.
Ryuji: Yo, it's cold as balls out here. If I don't start joggin', I'm gonna freeze in place!
Futaba: So says the jock of the group.
Ha! She got Ryuji good right there.
Morgana: Yeah, jog around to warm up.
Ryuji: Hey, what else can I do? Every second we waste, that old hag gets another heart in the bag.
Morgana: Skull's right. We need to keep moving.
The more they have a look around to get a few things done and their main job, the better.
Haru: Yes. Let's explore the castle perimeter and figure out the secret to getting in.
Around they go for staying together, warm, fighting off more Shadows, Gegasites, and seeing the handmade snowmen to be cute and some to be all Jack Frost ones...They were all made by lots of Jack Frosts doing! In fact, there were a lot of them to work a lot and looked very upset. Normal looking Shadows to get caught up in this mess to make the entire area too perfect. Hmm...So are a few Black Frosts and King Frosts as well. They look like slaves. Moving to the next area to get around to the other side that was blocked, at Sapporo Jail - Sapporo Clock Tower of another town from the looks of it. While getting more items and treasure chests too 'and some to unlock with a lock pin', around the next corner to see the first Prison Keep is 'with the door opened' of Mariko Shadows' for the thieves to go into first.
Akechi: Well, will you look at that.
Morgana: Oh, it's a Prison Keep! Even I can see it from my current height like this.
So it was there thanks to Morgana to be a bit taller right now.
Makoto: Based on the past few Jails, we should find something here that'll help us move forward.
Ryuji: Nice! The gate's open!
Yeah, but it feels a bit too easy here if you ask me. Even for Keiko and Akechi don't inside of it yet.
Ann: Don't you feel like something's off, though?
Keiko: I sense something, but no one's around right now.
Futaba: Hmm...And I'm not picking up any Shadows of Gegasites on the radar.
Haru: Even so, we shouldn't let our guard down. Anything could happen.
They go inside the first Prison Keep, there was no traps so far but slaves of Gegasites controlling the Shadows' and their Desires taken. Like Alice's Jail to have her things, Natsume's book reading non-stop, and now here...Mariko's eating a lot of Coco-Fudges to become total pigs. Ew! Now climbing to the top 'while Morgana watches down below to see from his big height', Keiko takes Mariko's first core of her one out of three favorite things. It was a Election Poster.
Ryuji: Aww yeah, got ourselves a core! Sorry, Mona. I hope you're fine seeing this since you can't fit in.
Morgana: I can see just fine from here. Man, I want to be human to get taller to be a basketball player than this form.
One can only dream of it in the future.
Ann: That wasn't so hard. Think we're finally getting the hang of this?
Futaba: Looks like it. So, Joker, whadja get?
Keiko: A poster of Hyodo on it. See?
From the looks of it, it does have the face of Mariko on it on her election as mayor of Sapporo.
Futaba: Is that...Mariko Hyodo on there?
Makoto: Looks like a campaign flyer.
A flyer more and a poster it is. Soon to disappeared, the entire area becomes a big snow storm all over to get colder and hard to see anything.
Keiko: Ah! It's too cold!
Futaba: Waaaah!
Having trouble moving around for Keiko, Akechi holds on to his fiance.
Akechi: Joker! I got you. Don't let go of me.
Keiko: I know, Black Crow, thank you.
Stay strong and don't get cold at all.
Makoto: This snowstorm came out of nowhere...Did we trigger this somehow?
Morgana: Everyone! Don't fall sleep in this cold! It looks even worse in the area we just came from. It doesn't look like we can head that way anymore.
Everyone doesn't get cold and it doesn't affect on Morgana right now 'due to his size'.
Yusuke: Then our exist is lost. An ill omen, to be sure.
Ryuji: Uh, guys...I don't wanna freeze to death here!
Makoto: We need to run for shelter before we get completely snowed in.
Was there a way out of here? Well thanks to Sophia's help, she locates another way out from the cold.
Sophia: I can help with that. Oracle, set your destination over there.
Futaba: Wh-What'd you find? Whatever it is, I'm going!
I would go somewhere else than this place, so it was time to leave already and stay warm.
Morgana: Climb down the pull, and use my back to slide down! Let's get going!
It was the only way out.
Futaba: Too cold! Too cold! Go where Sophie said to go to!
Ann: I hope this is the only way out since we can't go back!
Ryuji: This snowstorm's friggin' insane! Can't see a thing out here.
Makoto: Any further exposure might put our health at risk. We need to get out of here now.
Everyone slides on the pole and back down on the ground to getting out right away. For Morgana to be the shield from the storm to existing out, and fighting off Shadows and Gegasites was the only way.
Morgana: This way!
It was time to make their own path for the lovers...
Keiko and Akechi: Light and Dark - Energy Blast!
And boom the Gegasite ones get destroyed and some other Jack Frosts get free to escaping, but not the Shadow one slaves, not just yet.
Sophia: Snowmen Shadows?
Keiko: I think they're Jack Frosts. (They remind me of Jackie who was Atsuko's Cognition being who's real name was Janet.)
Sad times then, huh? I know...Just as they've escaped, but more securities of Sentries surround the Phantom Thieves again during a snowstorm like this. Hey, it doesn't bother them but to serve the Monarch of the Jail of this Shadow being and/or King.
Futaba: Watch out! Shadows incoming!
More Sentries, Gegasite Shadows of Jack Frosts, and a new one were ready to fight.
Persona #43 - Setanta = powers of warrior fighting skills
It was time to use their fighting skill weapons and gun shooting ones in battle for this type of fight, with Ann, Morgana, Yusuke, and Futaba using their powerful moves on the left overs once Keiko, Akechi, and Sophia beat up some, and the rest for Makoto, Ann, and Ryuji to shoot up. Now to finish them all off!
Morgana: Okay, powers...Please work for me in the current state I'm in...Whirlwind Tackle!
He's still got it! The other three help Morgana out as well.
Ann: Good work, Mona! Spinning Inferno!
Yusuke: Tsunami Blast!
And one more to be Setanta one to get crushes and clawed out in second, with Futaba's technologically skills and powers.
Futaba: Oops, missed one more. Techno Claws! I got it.
Now to keep on going. It was still hard to fight or go anywhere from the non-stop snowstorm to make it stop. Wait, was there a wait to stop it at all in this world?
Keiko: We're doing great. Even though it's really cold out now.
Futaba: Please...lemme hibernate...
No falling asleep in this type of cold at all.
Morgana: I'm heavy as is, I barely am sleeping to get to somewhere warm.
Ann: No way! Oracle, don't fall asleep. You'd freeze to death in this cold!
Sophia: Wait...I can feel out something nearby. Something that'll get us all warmed up. Follow me.
Following Sophia from the cold, right in front of them was a huge heater to be turned off. It works well in this world, so it should stop the storm and the cold right away once it's turned on.
Akechi: Sophie's right. Look at this thing.
It was no illusion from the snow storm either. It was very real.
Ann: Is this...a heater?
Haru: It sure is big...
With a better closer look at it...Morgana checks it out for them.
Morgana: The feel, the looks, and how it's used in the real world...Yep, it's a heater alright.
Sophia: We should be able to warm up here.
Ryuji: What the heck's a heater doing out here?
Our guess was as good as his.
Futaba: Let's just press it and see what happens!
Turning it on, it works well like a real heater. Feeling good on Morgana's fur and such, the others huddle a little to stay warm too, also...the snow storm finally stopped.
Keiko: Much better.
Ann: Ahh...So nice and warm!
Morgana: Warm...
Makoto: This really is perfect timing. We would've frozen solid out here.
Haru: Just the sight of it makes me feel more at ease.
Does it all for something so warm?
Yusuke: We truly are fortunate to have found this.
Keiko: A mochi type of thing, but still...it seems suspicious a little. And yet, were all warming up. So I like this thing just a little.
Still be aware but it wasn't a trap at all.
Ryuji: Standing around and warming up...We're like grandmas here.
Akechi: Elderly people?
Ryuji: Don't start to sound like one, dude.
There were more than one heater in this Jail.
Sophia: I saw three other heaters, too. Do you want to go check those out?
Ryuji: You mean you could see 'em from the tower? Huh, now that's suspicious...
Nice for Sophia to detect the other ones to locate them next. A good AI like her, she got great skills to aid the team and become part of it.
Morgana: Maybe there's a connection here...Like they were put there for a reason.
Haru: Then let's switch on all there heaters.
And that's what they'll do right away.
Yusuke: Then let us make haste. The longer we linger at the fire, the harder it is to leave. O wicked bearer of flames whose heat both soothes and ensnares...We shall sever thy temptation at once!
Keiko: I think we just loss Fox due to the cold.
Maybe it was getting to him a little with Makoto helping out her boyfriend.
Makoto: Hey! Stay with us!
Haru: And I think you might be overdoing it...
He'll be fine, for one lantern on to find three more out of four next. Locations on the map for Futaba does it right away.
