Episode #38 - Futaba's Research Hunting Time

A lot to be going on...Well, fun time on the beach and barbecue eating for Hans and Ellen with different names and looks hang out with the Phantom Thieves – Keiko, Sophia, Morgana, Akechi, Zen, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru on a fun time and with people acting weird all over the island and more to be spying on each other – something was really up to not be so normal at all. With the Guyver twins and the Phantom Thieves already aware of this whole thing, something had to be done tonight. With Ellen as Eiko to lose her human appearances to be her normal self and Hans as Hirako to do the same thing and acted. This wasn't their doing, but something else from the dead Shuzo. What was going on here.

Hans: Sister, are you ready?

Ellen: Ready, Brother.

With a few people from the villagers surround the motel buildings to look in each rooms of the Guyver twins, but they stop them all with their quick fighting skills to knock them all out cold.

Hans: How annoying.

Ellen: They're not worth killing to be force to do someone's doing. If Shuzo's spirit lives on in a Jail here, then this is our chance to find some answers, Brother...Brother?

Rough on the guys, but Hans would never hurt any women to keep them safe from harm on his end.

Hans: Yes, you're right. We should go check it out. And these ladies...

Ellen: BROTHER!

Hans: Come no, Sister. I have to make sure they're unharmed.

Ellen: And the same can be said about the men?

Moving his foot to check on the males...

Hans: See? They're alive and still breathing. Still, we'll keep them in a different rooms while we do some work. Again, those other two don't know what we're really doing.

Ellen: Oh, right. Okay. Time to get to work then before more of these humans show up.

Doing their part 'to seem to care for some human life since none of them has taken any of their lives at all' take off into the Metaverse of the Okinawa Jail. While Raiho found something to alter Loki, Kaguya, and Picaro about it right away.

Loki: Hey! I think the snowman has found something!

Picaro: Another Jail? But this one's creepy...!

Kaguya: It's like a human is already dead to have this one still active.

Was it normal at all...? No, far from it to hold some answers for some of the characters here.

Loki: It seems what this guy is feeling, I'm getting it too. It might have some affect back in the real world. The humans aren't their selves at all. I don't like it. It's the same feeling from my people got into and disappeared. I don't get it.

Looks like Loki's part was left unknown for now, leaving this one a bit off.

Kaguya: A bad omen?

Picaro: You're kiddin' me! Here on an island to be nothing but hell? I hope the Phantom Thieves are doing well.

Kaguya: There's no telling how they're holding up. And in this Jail might have something to do with our past, Picaro. We have to keep on going.

Raiho was in too if the twin girls were and Loki to get something from here 'an answer' he needed.

Picaro: I wanna know everything! Then let's not waste anymore time!

Kaguya: Agreed, let's go.

Off these four Personas take off to wait up for the Phantom Thieves and some answers to find on their own too.

Loki: (I get another odd feeling, the kid might find something in this area. Good, bad, even odd answers when he and his boss do. Don't any of you or Keiko die on me...)

Wow, Loki was smart like Akechi to know more like the twin girls and Raiho, huh? Off they go then. Now back with the Phantom Thieves, what comes to them from the strange behavior from all of the villagers on Okinawa island? Approaching near the RV of theirs, things aren't looking so good at all...With the RV sitting on the beach side to be completely dark and quiet inside of it at night time. But...a man was looking from outside to entering in the vehicle itself to be opened up, not good...! Using his flashlight to see around with someone sleeping in the bed to remove the covers of...but it was found emptied. No one was in the RV at all right now. Is this what Zen was talking about to the others for him and Akechi to help them out. Probably so.

Man 2: What? Grrr...! Hey! It's empty.

And this person wasn't the only one, others from all over the village was also there to look for the them 'without knowing they're the Phantom Thieves at all'.

Man 2: They can't be far. Find them!

So many people with flashlights and torches all over.

Man 3: We have to find them...!

Man 4: For intruding and defining on hollow grounds! Find them!

Talk about a big manhunt going on!

Man 5: Where are they?!

Man 6: They could've gotten far!

Man 7: They're here somewhere...!

Lots of the villagers to not trust in right now, they were all being mind controlled by someone with a Jail in Okinawa. For from afar had Keiko watching and hiding in the woods to be safe in. Along with Sophia, Morgana, Akechi, Zen, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba 'to be hiding behind Keiko', Haru, and Ryuji...Well, he was using two tree branches to hide his face well in the brushes. Ha! Now that's funny, and yet the wishful thinking saved themselves from this mess from happening.

Akechi: Really, Ryuji?

Ryuji: What?

Akechi: It's not really the best way to hide...

Ryuji: I got this, man.

Whatever works for him, I guess...

Keiko: Oh god, too close...I think you and Zenny saved us, Akechi-Cun. Thank you.

Akechi: I knew something was up with the island and the villagers when we arrived.

Keiko: I hope Hirako and Eiko aren't caught up in this mess.

All of it to say the least to have the other confused. For Zen, Keiko, and Akechi might've been on alert first before telling the others in time.

Ryuji: Dude, what the hell is going on?! Those guys are effin' nuts!

Morgana: No kidding. If Zenkichi hadn't picked up on what was about to happen or Akechi's instinct either...

Akechi: We would've all been caught. (Then Master has powers to grow more and more like Keiko and me.)

Could be, like the others to not be a pro like those two were.

Makoto: He said something about 'defiling hallowed ground"...What's that supposed to mean?

Keiko: From the story maybe? We heard on the beach about the lab being closed, and some utaki...Could it be someone's Shadow to create something so horrifying? *gasp* Then Hirako and Eiko-!

Akechi: We know. But they're smart, they probably got out of there by now. We all hope they did.

Nothing they could do right now to be hope 'unaware from one another on who was really who.

Ann: Huh? Utaki talk along with the lab and beach? Come again?

Akechi: Not a curse story, but something is real. A Jail with someone as the King of someone's Shadow is behind all of this.

Zen: Maybe...It was the lab then.

Keiko: It has to be since it was completely emptied.

With a lot more to it than being left out.

Zen: Remember that straw festoon we saw on the entrance?

They all did see it.

Yusuke: That's right. We saw it, then proceeded further anyway.

Ryuji: Hang on, hang on-what's so friggin' hollow about some lab?

Ann: And even if it IS "hallowed," that doesn't explain how they're acting at all! They look like they wanna kill us! It doesn't matter how we look at it, these people have lost their minds!

Not normal at all, for new people visiting on Summer break to be hunted down like animals.

Haru: Wait, could this be...

Keiko: Some "change of heart" and Desires changed to everyone here...Yes! There IS a Jail here. I can feel it!

Akechi: And I do too.

Those must be their answers. Desires changing on others and changing of the hearts too, then there was a Jail in Okinawa.

Ryuji: And that would mean there's a Monarch somewhere around here, yeah? But Sophia said she can't smell a Jail here.

Sophia: [Correct, I cannot smell any Jails here.]

She didn't smell, but Sophia did felt a bad feeling like Akechi and Keiko to be unknown at first.

Yusuke: However, you did also say you got a bad feeling from this place. Considering our current situation, I can only assume it's due to a changing of their hearts.

Ann: But nobody tried to attack us until just now...

A lot to be about this area with many dark secret for Hans and Ellen to come to where they use to be tested on a lot.

Makoto: Perhaps there really is something on this island, something even Sophia can't detect.

Morgana: What do we do now? They'll catch us if we just stay here.

What can any of them do or go to now?

Keiko: Far from this area. Maybe we can go to where the lab and this utaki thing is at.

Ryuji: Is that a good idea? Won't there already be brainwashed locals there?

Both a yes and some what not as dumb as the the villagers all looked.

Zen: Actually, it might be smarter than it seems.

Ryuji: Whaddya mean, Gramps?

Looks like this guy was on to something big.

Zen: It's pretty obvious, based on how they treat that place, there's something fishy there.

Akechi: The one thing they want to keep us out from it. (I'm starting to remember what the lab really is.)

Something was coming back to the ace detective prince.

Zen: And no matter where we go on this island, they'd catch us eventually. Why not strike at the hearts of the matter right away?

Makoto: By "the heart of the matter," do you mean a Jail?

Sophia: [However, there is no Jail-]

No, but something like it to be cursed of someone who's already dead of their Shadow's self.

Zen: Sure. There's no Jail, but I'd bet we'll at least find something in their holy land. And it sure sounds like a better plan than waiting in the bushes until they find us, right?

Keiko: Yes, it does. You're right, Zenny.

Morgana: I've got to agree...Okay, let's head for the lab!

The problem was...how can they make it their without getting caught? Same with the Guyver twins too?

Ryuji: Wait, how're we gettin' there? Without gettin' spotted?

Zen: What're you asking me for? Aren't you guys the Phantom Thieves?

It works different in the other world than the real world.

Akechi: Master...There are a few differences on how we work.

Yusuke: Well...Akechi's right. Those abilities are only relevant in the cognitive world.

Zen: You just gotta go with the flow! Follow my lead-and keep your voices down. Goro, back them up.

It was time for some team work.

Akechi: I'm on it, Master.

Sneaking around quietly...With the Phantom Thieves staying low without getting spotted by the brainwashed villagers to get to the lab, same with Hans and Ellen to stay hidden in the bushes for Keiko to feel out their safeties.

Morgana: Hey...It's the Saitou twins. They're okay.

Keiko: Huh? Psss...Hirako. Eiko. Are you two in there?

They hear and see their friends a little on the other side.

Ellen: It is Keiko, Morgana, and the others?

Hans: It is...Keiko, shh...Keep your voices down. We're still be followed.

Keiko: I know, but it's good to hear your voices. We'll be hiding in the woods until this mess is done. You two going to be fine?

Making something up for all of them to say something at one another...

Hans: Yes, sweet Keiko. We're going in the caves. Just hearing your voice is nice. So stay safe there without getting caught.

Ellen: (She's not your type, Brother...!) Yeah, same with us. We'll hide until sun rise. OK? No one gets leaves tonight until it can stop.

Agreeing with one another, it sounds like a good plan there.

Akechi: Very well, please be safe.

Good thing they talked quietly and hid without seeing what was what or the looks.

Ellen: Good luck, everyone.

Hans: And be careful.

Keiko: See you in the morning then. (Stay safe, you two.)

All was good to go in different directions for all of them, with Ellen and Hans had work to do in this Jail of Shuzo.

Hans: Let's go, Sister.

Ellen: The others will crawl to safety, Brother. So yes, we got our only business to take care of.

There goes the Guyver twins in the Jail of the unknown. While the other members of the Phantom Thieves and Zen sneak, his, and then ran when all was clear to make a move up to the hills where the lab building was at. What a close call.

Akechi: We'll say we've been hiding until we can look for them in the morning, Keiko. It'll be fine.

Keiko: I know, Akechi, we heard them at least. That's all that matter the most.

Catching their breaths to be a very close call getting here alive.

Ann: *gasp* *pant* We lost them...right?

Seems like it, so...they were all fine.

Zen: Yeah, looks like the coast is clear...And the twins, lucky they crawled to safety.

Akechi: We're fine for now.

They still needed to be on their guard though.

Yusuke: That's surprising-I expected guards to be posted here more so than anywhere else.

Keiko: But I don't see any of them...

Soon, Zen hears something to be nearby.

Zen: Wait! Listen...

Futaba: Eek!

Sounds like someone was walking towards the area.

Zen: Footsteps! Hide!

Hiding behind the building side of the lab itself, they others sees the old man doing something near the window. Hmmm...

Haru: What's he doing?

Makoto: I can't exactly tell from over here...

Zen: This could actually be good for us. There's only one guy. If we capture him, we might be able to question him.

An idea in mind here, it might be a hard move to still give it a try.

Keiko: It's too risky, Zenny.

Akechi: But it might be a great idea, Keiko. I can help you out, Master. Just say the word.

A little back up to give it a try.

Zen: Heh, don't worry, Goro. Same here, Amamiya. Leave it to a professional. Goro, just find a safer away to draw the man's attention away from the others.

Ryuji: Wait! You're doin' it by yourself, Gramps?!

Zen: I've been through enough training. I'll be fine.

Everyone looked at Akechi to be sure of his teacher/step-father.

Akechi: What? He's got this. Really.

Zen: If Goro knows, then it's all good. You guys just stay here and keep an eye out for any of his buddies.

Futaba: Holy crap, Gramps just got way cooler!

From Zen walking up to one villager man to be on guard and Akechi staying behind his step-father to make their move very carefully.

Zen: Hello, excuse me?

The man turns around to see a threat.

Furious Islander: Scoundrel! You dare defile our Lord's hallowed ground?!

Trying to attack Zen, but Akechi got out his cell phone to show a flashing light.

Akechi: Cheese!

Blinding him to cut to black to hear a beat up sound effect, only to see the man was down by Zen's doing.

Zen: Oh wow...Watch your step there. You all right?

Akechi: Master...I was suppose to blind him and then knock him out carefully. But you bear him up.

Zen: What? I got him, didn't I? You worry too much, Goro.

It was the same thing from back in Yongen-Jaya.

Ryuji: Not again?! You totally threw him on his ass!

Zen: You too? Eh, it was clearly self-defense.

Yusuke: He truly is a member of Public Security.

The one and only.

Akechi: There's no one else like my Master...

Still a lot on his mind from Zen to have Akechi worried, and the same with Keiko too. Soon on the window had some paper from before being re-written on it again into something else.

Zen: Hey, take a look at that.

Haru: The sign we saw this morning...

Zen: Look again-the 18th was changed to the 19th.

It did from one day into the next one, it was all set up to not be part from the lab itself.

Keiko: Hey, you're right. They can't do that!

Zen: They have and they just did. Apparently, the facility's staff is on permanent vacation, one day at a time.

Akechi: Master, it has to be the place. We've done many reports on this and now, here we are five years later on an unsolved case.

Zen: You're right, Goro. I was going to tell you-!

Akechi: I know...Look, I know on something else too. But let's work on this first.

Zen: Ah, OK...?

He goes along with it, the case they know about but to finally solve together again. But the other part, Akechi found something out from his own teacher/step-father.

Makoto: So why would they do this? Changing the days to this building?

Zen: Most likely To string along anyone who came to the island for the lab. When someone thinks the staff's out of the day, they probably stick around the island. Come nighttime, the locals descend on whoever got too serious...To protect whatever's in there. I think Goro and I know what it is too.

From something the villagers under this spell to be doing something illegal too.

Yusuke: What horrid tactics...

Akechi: I have to agree.

Zen: Well, let's investigate a bit. If his heart's been changed, he should have a smartphone with EMMA installed.

Looking at the out cold man, they look through the pants pocket, to find his phone.

Futaba: Hup, found it. Yep, there's EMMA all right. Aaaaand...he only has one Friend? "Shuzo Ubukata"?

The name there, this was it. News for the others, but Akechi has heard of the name from before.

Akechi: Shuzo Ubukata...? Mom knew him...

Keiko: Your mother knew this guy?

Okay, now something was up to know even more about here.

Morgana: There's a chance this Ubukata is the Monarch of Okinawa. Anyone got a keyword?

Nothing but one name on the EMMA app on one of the villager's phone.

Futaba: Hmm, that one's a lot tougher...

Keiko: Please find something, Futaba.

Looking at it some more, Futaba finally got something from it.

Futaba: Oh, hang on! There's an email here! "Cordial invitation to serve a tester of the EMMA system"...

Ann: An EMMA tester?

Sounds like something to be brand new from a few years ago before EMMA became a bigger hit this year.

Futaba: Whoa, this even has a keyword in it! "Operation Oraculi"?

Zen: Who sent him the email?

Futaba: I don't recognize the address...Maybe it's from the lab?

From the lab itself? Even when Keiko touches the building a little...she felt something big of a ghost type from the other world the Phantom Thieves go into. The hand of it was moving on the glass window to have claws and dark skin all over. Very freaky...!

Keiko: Huh? (From a Jail here and someone name Shuzo might be behind all of this?)

This was getting even weirder.

Akechi: Keiko, I felt it too. A ghost in the real world and the Metaverse? Then it must be big.

Keiko: Probably, Akechi.

Back to the topic at hand first...

Zen: So the lab asked all of these guys to be EMMA tester...?

Futaba: What now? Thanks to the email, we know the keyword's "Operation Oraculi."

Makoto: If the people who call this place "hallowed" had their hearts changed, then it's going to be Jail-related, without a doubt.

I guess they all needed to be ready for anything, even Zen and Akechi to feel the same ting. They wanted to solve this mystery as well.

Ryuji: But, like, we can't find a Jail here. Right, Sophia?

Sophia: [I'm not sure...At the very least, I do not smell one.]

Keiko: Let's try it anyway, Sophia. We'll get it. I mean, it's only one way to know for sure, right?

If Sophia couldn't find a Jail, then to see what was beyond the Metaverse Jail of this Shuzo person, then only one way to find out alright is to test it out.

Morgana: Madame Keiko's right. If we can't get in, that'll settle it. But-if there IS a Jail here, testing the keyword will send us right in. Are we all ready?

Yusuke: We have no choice but to try. Our pursuers have decided our path.

Ann: Yeah, even the Metaverse feels safer to me than this place does now.

And some work to do while hiding as well, not a bad idea.

Morgana: Okay, let's do it.

But before they could get going, Zen and Akechi looked at each other to tell the others about the case to come back to them.

Keiko: Zenny. Akechi. Please tell us what you two know...

From the freak images, sounds, and banging sounds coming from the building to be some type of ghost of a Shadow. Jumpy there at first, but they all knew what was going on to not be normal at all.

Akechi: There's a Shadow to see a little from this world and the Metaverse of his true form himself...Shuzo Ubukata, he was the man my mother fell in love with.

Boom! Right there, a big shocker!

Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, Haru, and Morgana: FOR REAL!?

Sophia: [But how did you know, Akechi?]

And now for the answer, all of it..

Zen: It's because it was the first case I worked on when I took Goro in when he was a kid and met him a few times, before he died. He knew his mother before someone murdered him.

Akechi: Being my father.'s doing...

Wow! From remembering Shido was bad enough, but this? So Shuzo did something to know of Akechi's mother, he could've been his real dad if things were a bit different.

Keiko:Akechi, I didn't know...

Akechi: I know. There's a lot to explain, Master done some work here, I questioned the people, and then...that day happened. All of it.

The two hold hands with each other throughout all of this.

Zen: In fact, here's the data to access to only by my approval. Futaba, do your stuff. I'll allow it.

Using a data card for Futaba to place on her phone to do some research, she finds and tells everyone all of the details, so please pay attention on this one.

Sophia: [Now uploading... "The Case of the Greek Roman".]

"The Case of the Greek Roman"? What was that? As Futaba explains everything to sound like a scary story but with good details in it.

Futaba: Oooo...Fun. Today's tale shall be, the blast of the past from five years ago. Once Zenkichi had young Akechi in his family were taken in at the age of five to grow up up until age thirteen for them to work on the case itself, right here in this haunted lab from two different worlds...This lab rescuer and studied on the five kids with mysterious powers – Ellen Guyver, Hans Guyver, Aika Iwamura, Hitomi Kanakubo, and Mia.

Those names are important.

Keiko: Ellen, Hans, Aika, Hitomi, and Mia. (I wonder if any of those names will help Akechi remember something...)

Morgana: The Guyver twins and three other girls we don't known about it. Keep going Futaba.

Reading in a bit more...

Futaba: Right. From five years ago today...Five kids found each other from being left alone with no family of theirs to leave them on the streets to do anything and I mean anything to stay alive, but they were all born with powers. Similar to Big Sis and Akechi's are. So, one day a group of scientists find them to have trouble curing the youngest one Mia who came down with a terrible illness to have the other four begging them to save her, they would but in return to be tested like rats in the lab on the EMMA creation when Kuon Ichinose helped them out a while back. They agreed to have a home, Mia treated, get tested on a lot, and so on with caring at times from some of the girls – three women. One was Akechi's mother once, but then twin sisters worked for someone who was powerful above all us besides Shuzo; he sometimes loves the work on other Jail events to trigger Desires from one machine of cognitive psience the way my Mom did something different. But this man was on a whole different level, his name was Dr. Kano Guru.

Now that name is also important too.

Makoto: Oh, I've heard of that man. He studies to discover new things within the human ind so well informed. He won so many rewards for it.

Ryuji: That many?! Damn, he must've been famous then.

A lot more about it in fact.

Haru: So what was so different with Dr. Guru than Shuzo's work?

Futaba: Getting to it next which of course is connected to Akechi and Zenkichi's big mystery solving case I might add...The differences between Shuzo and Guru were this – Shuzo cared for he dated Akechi's mother to still visit him sometimes under Zenkichi's care like he does wit h the other five kids during their training of their powers. From dark magic, mage spells, gravity strength, light water of restrained, and some type of ESP they each had to controlled. Like Akechi's mother and Shuzo did care, that man was a weirdo with a heart. Same with one of the twin sisters, one was nice them too. However...One wasn't to be thinking about money, power, looks, and harsh words to them. They had each other for them to be a true caring family, until Mia died from the illness after a year of suffering to be a very sad one; now with Dr. Guru was far worse from the mean twin sister and him combined. As good as he was working a lot after Mia passed on, the other four had trouble liking Guru's treatment to them. For what Zenkichi's reports gather this and when Akechi studied a lot from it...Discovering their abilities to be strong, fast, smart, skills, healing, shield, and so on. Like a cognitive psience for humans in persons for Shuzo wanted it the easy way, not the hard way to keep telling Guru to stop. But nope, both he and his mistress never listened.

Treated unfairly was mess up, like being treated like animals was wrong to make Akechi upset hearing the story again.

Ann: Guru wasn't a nice man at all!

Yusuke: The Guyver twins only want to fix things to go this far, but this was al of Dr. Dr. Guru's doing! With one gone and the other are left unknown...This is getting deeper from the truth.

Akechi: Futaba, please keep on going.

More story to talk about to finish things up. During the time – Kaguya and Picaro started remembering all of this, and a little on Hans and Ellen's ends as well.

Futaba: Sorry you have to hear this again...Now for the real thing. After Mia's passing, same with Akechi's mother, while he and Gramps studies from Shuzo on what he was working on to caring for the four kids plus the other good twin sister, that's when things changed a lot. Something about The Case of the Greek Roman, Shuzo and Guru wanted one of the five kids, or the four instead to find Pandora's Box. They say from a woman who was beautiful did something to be tricked by the gods to unleash other things over the centuries to kill people all over the world. Chaos, weather, storms, people, illness, and so on. She was left eternity to walk the earth with the item until someone else opened it for her to be rest in peace or get the treasure of power inside the thing. If you find the right holder from the great ancestor of Pandora, then it gives you anything to use to stop a mess of deadly power in seconds. But if someone who's bad uses it for evil and not the right way, it can make a big...BOOM! Huge explosion! It happened here from five years ago. Only the twin sisters are left unknown still, the Guyver twins are alive but changed entirely, Guru and his mistress was nowhere to be find or the other good and bad twin girls, and Shuzo...Well, he wasn't so lucky. He died in the fire. For the case to be on hold today for these two to try something. With nothing left out but it did have something to do during the EMMA app adding when Ichinose created it , making it during the event was still unknown. While Inspector Zenkichi himself and Akechi kept a lot of work to make sure someday like today for this mystery to finally be solved somehow. That's why the building was rebuild, saying stories for a ghost to control the villager to keep this area safe, and things still hidden inside to not let any outsiders get their hands on them. And now you all know the story.

Zen: What Futaba explained is all true. Both Goro and me still need answers to solving this case. And something to do with EMMA app, it has some answers to even have Ichinose's work might be a key to lead us to somewhere in this old lab. If we can't get anything on the outside and ghost is in there, then it has to be Shuzo's Shadow himself and his Jail.

With many reasons why to try something out somehow. A sad story to release it all again thanks to Futaba telling everyone for Zen and Akechi can finally know more together from five year later. Holding hands to make sure of Akechi to keep on fighting in Keiko's love and support along with his friends; and to have a word with his teacher/step-father on what Zen was really up to way later on.

Akechi: Keiko, I'm fine. Thank you for staying by my side after living through the event again.

Keiko: I'm glad I can help you ou, Akechi. We'll make it through for you guys.

Akechi: Yes, I know.

I bet Kaguya and Picaro feel the same thing. They don't know of them from being human of Aika and Hitomi made them become in Personas yet? Were they the ones who died? And what of Ellen and Hans? Do they know on what really happened back then? Same with Guru is somewhere still, who was the Hooded Man with his Mistress partner? So much to know more of.

Zen: So now, we go and see what happens when we put the keyword in of Shuzo's name. This our only chance to get the truth and everything else too. Are you guys still in.

Well, they were all in. Time to enter it in the EMMA app right away.

Futaba: EMMA, add Shuzo Ubukata to my Friend Registry, Keyword, "Operation Oraculi"!

But...Nothing was happening.

Keiko: What happened?

Futaba: Hmmm...Guess it doesn't work?

But something did happen, Sophia can finally pick up on Shuzo's Jail.

Sophia: [Wait-I can smell a Jail. The scent is already all around us!]

Keiko and Akechi: She's got it!

And so does the EMMA app too.

EMMA: [Keyword successfully entered. Beginning navigation.]

Entering in Shuzo's Jail they go into the Metaverse for the Phantom Thieves have their outfits on already but Zen to stay by their sides. Freaky looking of a haunted lab with everything ruined or destroyed all over to slowly be walking around the entry point. The others didn't think this was the one.

Akechi: Well, would you look at this...

Zen: Is this the lab, it's...kinda freaky.

They weren't the only ones in the Jail, the ghost was there...Shuzo's Shadow.

Futaba: Bad vibes in here, guys. This place looks straight up haunted.

That's what Futaba was getting at to have Makoto scared the most to not like anything scary.

Haru: Queen. Are you all right?

Makoto: Huh? Y-Yep. All fine here.

She wasn't holding up at all.

Ryuji: You sure don't sound find.

Keiko: I've seen this before, Queen doesn't like something to be scaring her.

Soon...a can moves on the floor to freak Makoto out, she even hides behind her boyfriend again.

Yusuke: Queen!

Seeing what it was, it was just an empty mental can.

Ryuji: Screw you too, can!

Yusuke: It'll be fine, Queen. I'm here for you.

Staying by his girlfriend's side, while Makoto while holding on to Yusuke's leg in fear.

Makoto: ...I'm so sorry...! Oh...! Where are you, Sis...? I'm so sorry...! I'm so sorry...!

Keiko: We're right here-!

Trying to find another noise to throw a can to the direction, nothing happened. It was just rocks all over the grounds. Until...something finally does pop up. It looked like a dark machine of a demon robot, it was the ghost himself! Roaring to freak everyone else out in fear to scream in terror.

Zen: HOLY DAMMIT CHRISTMAS! WHAT IS THAT THING!?

It looks like a robot type of demon, with dark blue colors all over, big wings sticking out from the back feet to be small too, arms of a dinosaur almost, with sharp claws, teeth, red eyes, a long snake-like tail, rabbit type of long ears on the head, and some red halo above his head. It was fast, strong, flies well, moves around, to smelling things, and it goes from one room after the next. It has to be Shuzo Shadow of his ghost true form. The others feel it out too and familiar to some of them.

Kaguya: Shuzo?

Picaro: It can't be...! He's dead.

Loki: Huh? Who's dead?

Confusing to Raiho and Loki, the twin girls have to find Shuzo Shadow right away to get their answers.

Picaro: We're not sure of it yet. Then we'll just have to find out about it.

Kaguya: Come along now and stay safe.

In a hurry for those two, Raiho follows them and so does Loki to get his attention now.

Loki: Whatever...it better lead us to somewhere good.

Same with Ellen and Hans to feel Shuzo Shadow out as well.

Hans: Sis...! I think it's Shuzo!

Ellen: It's more of his Shadow form of a ghost in this old Jail to still be running. I'm surprise. Noe this is something for the other didn't report back about.

Hans: Then they do know something. I don't what happening in here either, but we need to find out right away before they do. Let's keep moving.

Ellen: Of course, Brother. (They better not double cross us like this, or else...!)

As well as in the Velvet Room for the army of Jack Frosts, Black Frosts, and King Frosts feel this one out too, same thing with Lava.

Lava: Yes, I too feel this one out. It's dark but a very sad one. Unlike the real enemies who are beyond dangerous than the ones to follow or have fallen victim to.

What does she mean there...? Back with the Phantom Thieves, what a freaky scene, huh? To make anyone scream and jump in fear. Shuzo Shadow would've killed them all, but he didn't to just take off like that? None of this was making any sense right now.

Makoto: I'm so sorry...!

Still feeling scared right now.

Yusuke: There, there, Ms. Makoto.

This was an odd way to be afraid to stay safe and in love with.

Zen: Wait...I guess you two were a closer couple than ever.

Getting back up without making a scene.

Makoto: Hey, hey! We do love each other, but this is not how we show it!

They all get it and even Yusuke himself.

Keiko: Never mind the scare, the thing who did scare us...!

Akechi: It was Shuzo's Shadow...!

Zen: Are you sure?

There was no doubt to feel something from it all.

Akechi: I recognize the feeling anywhere before I knew of these powers, Master. It was him, but as a ghost.

In a Jail, the ghost and Shadow, and other parts of the lab it use to be, this was the one.

Futaba: The old lab like this from what I did read about it all.

Zen: Then this has to be the place.

Morgana: So there really IS a Jail here...

From Shuzo to be dead and a ghost with a Jail too can only mean a few more things...

Ann: And that means this Ubukata person is its Monarch of Shuzo himself, right?

Keiko: A ghost and a Shadow...Never have we seen an dead person have a Jail to not pass on like this.

Haru: But, why wasn't Sophia able to detect it until just now?

A few good reasons why since Shuzo's spirit to be haunting Okinawa hasn't pass on yet was also this...

Sophia: There is a possibility that it was sleeping.

Well, that was something new for the others to not know about at all until now.

Yusuke: Jail can sleep?

Sophia: Once the keyword was entered, it almost felt as if this place woke up.

Futaba: Huh...So you mean Jails have a sleep mode?

Morgana: Now this is a new wrinkle...

But how and why was that with Shuzo's? Soon, Keiko sees Lava to be calling out to her only.

Keiko: Huh? (I feel like someone is calling my name...Lava.)

Seeing a Velvet Room door, she enters for Keiko and Lava have another talk to one another.

Lava: Keiko, you appear to have entered quite the conundrum...

Keiko: Lava?

Lava: What awaits you here in these lands is an inhuman being. This is where "she"...

She looked upset to say the rest.

Keiko: She? Inhuman being?

Lava: No...I oughtn't speak any further. My duty is to witness your path laid before you by your decisions. You must witness for yourself the being I have mentioned.

Keiko: It's fine, I understand.

Lava: Good. For you Phantom Thieves and yourself, Keiko, please be careful. Have this being rest in peace. The real enemy is in this Jail.

Keiko: I will do my best then, Lava. Thank you again.

Leaving the Velvet Room for now with some Persona for the Frost family help her out, Keiko returns with the others. Again with them not seeing or hearing her go off again like this.

Ryuji: Hm? Keiko, what's up?

Keiko: Just some work, Skull. It's fine.

Ryuji: Anyways, if all the people on this island got their hearts changed, doesn't that mean their Desires were taken?

It has to be since Shuzo Shadow changed everyone, but with a trigger on some kind from his wandering ghost.

Akechi: If they're being controlled by Shuzo's Shadow, then it has to be it.

Ryuji: Then we've gotta 'e those Desires back, fast. We're in real danger until we do.

With more brainwashing all over Okinawa, something has to be done and fast.

Morgana: Good point. First, we need to figure out where they're being held.

And with Zen to stick around while the others work hard on this mission.

Zen: This really is real, isn't it? I just keep feeling like I'm losin' it...

Pinching Zen's cheeks by Akechi's doing, and much more harder than usual.

Akechi: You're not dreaming, Master.

Zen: OW! Goro, easy.
