"Heroes vs. Villains" Total Drama All-Stars Improved episode 1
The episode starts with Chef Hatchet walking down a dark prison hall carrying a manila folder. He walked past 2 cells containing a one-eyed prisoner and what looked like the Insane Psycho Killer from Season 1. The latter shouted, "I'M INNOCENT, I TELL YA! INNOCENT!"
Meanwhile, the one-eyed prisoner started making kissy-faces at Chef, who was disgusted by the inmate's gestures, but soon came across a familiar face in another nearby cell. This cell just so happens to be holding the one and only Chris McLean, the host of the popular reality TV series Total Drama, who had been detained about a year ago for illegally dumping toxic waste at the campsite where the show took place.
"And the Crusty Cockroaches have a big lead over the Soiled Stinkbugs!" Chris announced as two cockroaches were staring at each other on the floor of his cell. "Cram it, McLean!" a nearby inmate shouted, but Chris ignored the inmate's remarks as he continued his narration. "Lightning slips past Duncan, and the heat is on! Yeah, look at that! That's what I'm talking about!"
Soon after, Chef finally arrived at the cell. Chris looked up and scowled. "Well, well, well. Look who finally came to visit me after a whole year!"
"C'mon, Chris, your sentence is over!" said Chef.
"Whatever, I think I'll stay right here! I got everything I need," Chris whined. He then pulled out a cashew with a drawn-on face of Chef and said "Including Chef 2.0! I made him from a cashew!"
Chef rolled his eyes and slid the manila folder under the cell door. Chris raised an eyebrow and asked, "What's this?"
"Your contract." Chef responded. "The producers greenlit another season, so are you in?
Chris' eyes went wide. "Oh, it is on!" he said, excitedly.
(INTRO)
Four spotlights pop out; one with a price tag on it, one with a sleek shine on it, one knocking toilet paper out, and the fourth one out of the tree with a soap bar and brush. The director claps the clapperboard. The camera zooms through the camp past a squirrel, the Spa Hotel, the loser cabin, the communal bathrooms, and finally Chris, holding the million-dollar case, and Chef on a helicopter.
"Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doin' fine,"
Camera pans up the cliff and into the lake.
"You guys are on my mind,"
In the water, Anne Maria and Jo tug back and forth on a treasure chest. It soon opens and Cameron, along with several Chris heads and Mr. Coconut, float out.
"You asked me what I wanted to be,"
Above the water, Owen and Scott are swimming, but Fang soon emerges from the water. Scott screams in terror and swims to shore, but Owen farts from beneath the surface, making a dead fish float to the surface, and causing Fang to gag from its odor and dive back underwater.
"And now I think the answer is plain to see,"
Scott rushes up to the shore and crashes into Lightning, who is distracted showing off his biceps. Duncan laughs at this, with Courtney rolling her eyes next to him. Duncan then looks in his other direction, sees Gwen, and smiles, and Gwen returns an awkward smile and a wave while Courtney gives her a death stare.
"I wanna be famous!"
The camera pans to the waterfall, where Alejandro and Heather are in a canoe exchanging glares, but the canoe soon goes over the waterfall and the two fall out. Alejandro grabs onto a nearby ledge and pulls himself up, while Heather falls to the bottom with the canoe.
"I wanna live close to the sun,"
The camera pans down to the log. Brick is running in place as Heather falls down the waterfall. He catches her, Heather rolls her eyes, but the log soon breaks and the two fall to the bottom of the waterfall.
"Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,"
Brick and Heather land near the confessional, causing Beth to walk out being confused as to what's happening.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way,"
The camera zooms in towards the spa hotel. Outside, Chef is sitting in a chair enjoying a drink. Justin is sitting nearby, as he tries the drink Chef is having, but immediately spits it out in disgust.
"I'll get there one day,"
The camera pans to Mike and Zoey sitting in two chairs nearby. They lean in for a kiss, but Sierra pops up from behind and starts watching them with a pair of binoculars before vigorously typing something on her phone. The two notice her and exchange uncomfortable looks due to her presence.
"'Cuz I wanna be famous!"
The camera zooms into a beach, where Dawn is meditating until a bear and Sasquatchanakwa start slap-fighting. The camera then pans to a nearby dock, where Lindsay shows an amused Tyler the latest fashion magazine.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na,"
The camera pans over to 15 of the contestants, in their swimsuits, standing on platforms in battle poses while holding jousting sticks. On one side is Jo, Anne Maria, Heather, Lightning, Alejandro, Courtney, and Duncan. On the other side is Brick, Lindsay, Owen, Mike, Zoey, and Gwen.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
Jo and Brick swing their sticks at each other with equal force and both end up falling into the water, Heather restlessly pushes Lindsay into the water, Owen belly-butts Anne Maria into the water while she sprays her hair, Zoey tries to swing her stick at Alejandro but he dodges and pushes her in instead, and Courtney clashes with Gwen, whose stick is set ablaze as she grins deviously. The scene then goes up in flames and transitions to the campfire, where Dawn and Cameron are sitting in front of the campfire as they look at each other and blush.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
Sierra pops up behind Dawn and Cameron and takes a picture of them with her phone. The camera zooms out and shows all the contestants gathered around the fire whistling, and the season's logo is soon shown.
The episode cuts to an open body of water. A few seconds go by, until the camera begins slowly panning forward, gradually getting faster and faster until Camp Wawanakwa appears on screen, where Chris stands on the dock of shame and begins narrating about the new season. He dons a big grin on his face. "Welcome, everyone, to Total Drama: All-Stars! We are back, baby! After my involuntary year-long… uhh… "Vacation", I really need to be in a familiar environment, surrounded by the people I love... To hurt! Heh heh heh! It's a condition of my parole. Except for the hurt part, eh? That's all McLean!"
Chris walked to the end of the dock, where the Drama Machine from Season 3 is stationed, the latter holding the million-dollar briefcase. "So, I'm bringing back 19 of Total Drama's All-Star competitors, and also some ones who have a lot of untapped all-star potential, to battle it out in the most dangerous, death-defying, One-Million-Dollar competition, ever!" Chris exclaims, before he hears a helicopter flying in. "And here they are now! From Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, say hello to…"
The door to the helicopter opened, revealing Mike, who was pushed out of the helicopter by Chef.
"Multiple personality Mike!" Chris announced. As Mike fell, he would gasp and switch his personality, with Chris saying in the order of which personality would appear, "AKA Chester, Svetlana, Vito, and Manitoba Smith!"
"G'day mate!" Manitoba greeted. He then looked down, realized that he was falling and shouted "Crikey!" before landing in the water.
"Mike's crush and pushover turned powerhouse, Zoey!"
Zoey saw Mike falling from the helicopter and shouted "Mike!" before she clumsily fell into the water, screaming, "Aaaahhh!"
"Athlete with the IQ of a potato, Lightning!"
Lightning saw Zoey jumping out of the helicopter and mockingly shouted "You call that a dive? The Lighting'll show you how it's done! Sha-owwww!" Before Lightning could finish his sentence, Chef kicked him off the helicopter.
"Bubble boy braniac, Cameron!"
Chef walks to the door of the helicopter, holding Cameron by the hood of his sweatshirt before throwing him out. "This is highly unreasonableeeeee!" Cameron shouts as he is thrown from the helicopter.
"Private bed-wetter, Brick!"
Brick ran to the door of the helicopter, shouting "SIR, YES SIR!" and did an Olympic-style dive out without any sort of hesitation or protest.
"Challenge throwing farm boy, Scott!"
Scott, who was now out of the trauma chair, was curled into a ball while chattering his teeth. Chef rolled his eyes and kicked him out of the helicopter. Scott screamed, "Nooooooooo!" as he fell.
"Creepy mind reader, Dawn!"
Dawn, like Brick, left the helicopter without hesitation, this time by simply walking out of the door without saying a word.
"Hairspray obsessed helmet head, Anne Maria!"
"This better not mess up my taaaannn!" wailed Anne Maria as Chef pushed her out of the helicopter.
"And bossy bruiser, Jo, who dominated the game until her underling pulled a Judas!"
"You're a dead man, McLean!" Jo shouted as she jumped out of the helicopter.
Once all of the Revenge of the Island contestants were introduced, Chris then announced the cast from the first three seasons. "And now, favorites from the original cast… Cranky CIT know-it-all, Courtney!"
Chef came out carrying Courtney. "This isn't in my contract!" she shouted before Chef dropped her out of the helicopter.
"Courtney's bestie-turned-boyfriend stealer, Gwen!"
"It's complicateeeeeedddd!" cried Gwen as Chef tossed her out of the helicopter.
"Broody bad boy, Duncan!"
Duncan popped his knuckles and proclaimed, "Bring it on!" before jumping out of the helicopter.
"Devious diva, Heather!"
Heather had been thrown out of the helicopter off-screen, but while she was free-falling, she yelled "I hate Chriiiissss!"
"Loveable lamebrain, Lindsay!"
Lindsay was also in midair, as she had her eyes closed and flapped her hands like if she were a bird and joyously exclaimed, "I'm flying!" However, Lindsay soon opened her eyes and looked down, realizing that she was actually falling. "Wait, I'm not flying! Aaaahhh!" she cried before landing in the water.
"Finalist with a complicated love life, Beth!"
"Hey!" Beth shouted as she was thrown out of the helicopter by Chef, "I wasn't readyyyyyy!"
"Super fan, Sierra! Total Drama's number one stalke- uh, I mean, blogger!"
Sierra dashed to the helicopter's door and cheered, "FOR CODY!" as she leaped out of the helicopter.
"Silent stud turned master manipulator, Justin!"
Justin walked up to the front of the helicopter and ripped off his shirt, impressing some of the female contestants, although Lindsay and Beth, who had gotten over him a long time ago, rolled their eyes. Justin then gracefully leaped out of the helicopter.
"Yet another dim-witted athlete, Tyler!"
Tyler ran up to the helicopter's door and shouted, "This one's for Lindsay!", but slipped as he exited. "Aaauugghh!" He belly-flopped into the water, causing the other contestants to cringe from his pain.
"And last, but most certainly not least, the original champion and powerhouse porker, Owen!"
"Yeah!" Owen shouted from the helicopter, pumping his fists in the air. "Let's do this!"
Owen cannonballed out of the helicopter, which caused the contestants in the water to be nervous of what was to come.
"TACTICAL NUKE INCOMING!" shouted Duncan, as the contestants tried to swim away before Owen landed in the water and created a splash so big that it ended up getting all the other contestants and Chris wet, much to the latter's annoyance.
Owen looked at his fellow competitors that had all gotten impacted by his splash, as he gave an awkward smile and said "Oh, uh, hey guys! Heh heh…"
"Well, that… happened." Chris said nonchalantly.
The episode cuts to the beach, where the contestants begin interacting with each other. As such, Owen saw this as a good opportunity to try and get to know some of the contestants from season 4, starting with Dawn. Owen didn't notice, but the Moonchild had somewhat of a glum expression on her face. Her eyes appeared more naturally wide, and the dark rings under them were gone.
"Sooo…" Owen said to Dawn, "Excited for this new season? I know I am!"
Dawn looked up. "Hmm? Oh, yes! I'm hoping it goes well for me!" she responded mildly. She paused for a few seconds, until she soon put her hand on Owen's shoulder and read his aura. "Hmm, it appears that you're looking forward to doing this, but you're also nervous about it since this is your first time interacting with us."
Owen, surprised by Dawn's knowledge, asked, "Huh? How'd you figure that out?"
Dawn explained, "I can read people's auras, and yours seems very good natured, but also contains copious amounts of food."
Owen was still taken aback by the Aura Whisperer, until he said, "Huh. Cool!"
(Confessional: Owen)
"Alright, first confessional of the season! So, Dawn… She seems pretty nice! Although I wonder how she's able to read minds…"
(End confessional)
After her brief confrontation with Owen, Dawn looked the other way, where she noticed a few of the other contestants. Mike looked to have been out cold from his disastrous arrival, but he soon woke up, however seeing a bit blurry. Zoey, who was laying on the ground next to him, later followed suit.
Cameron, far on the other side, got up from the ground, his eyes immediately spotting Mike, his best friend that he made during the previous season, and he called out to him. "Mike!"
Mike felt his vision coming back and saw his buddy running up to him. "Cam?" His eyes widened. "Cam!"
He and Zoey instantly formed giant grins on their faces. Mike ran in the direction of Cameron, with Zoey right behind him, until he grabbed a hold of the ex-Bubble Boy and gave him a very tight hug. "It's so great to see you again!"
Cameron smiled right back. "You too, Mike!" he answered excitedly, before giving his friend a fist bump. After his exemplary victory against Lightning last season, the brainiac was glad to finally be free of his bubble. He took the initiative of working on himself greatly throughout the timeframe between then and this very moment. He appeared to be in much better shape than he was during Revenge of the Island, with a greatly improved posture. He had a more natural and relaxed look in his eyes, and also traded out his old orange shorts for some blue jeans. He even managed to grow a few inches, now being slightly taller than Dawn.
He then turned to Zoey. "Hi, Zoey!"
"Cameron!'' The Indie Chick was more excited than ever to see her friend again. She raced up to Cameron, both of them reaching out for a big hug. Cameron lifted Zoey up and spun her around, as she laughed happily. He then put Zoey down, and she put his arms around him and gave him a big kiss on the cheek. Cameron could sense himself slightly turning red as she smiled.
Zoey continued, "I'm so happy we're all together again! I mean, it's most likely gonna be torture for everybody, but this is wonderful!"
"I know!" Mike added. He then turned to Cameron, noticing the changes he went through over the past year. "Wow, Cam! You look great!"
Cameron smiled. "Thanks, Mike! I'm so glad that I've been able to get in better shape since I left my bubble. I feel like a whole new person now!"
The three friends then all laughed, until Mike looked back at Cameron. "Wait, have you gotten taller?!" He asked, with a mixture of both surprise and impression.
Zoey gasped and put her hands on Cameron's shoulders. "Oh my gosh, Cam, you have!" she squealed. They were all grinning from ear to ear, until they pulled in for a group hug.
This was where Dawn looked away, and heavily sighed.
(Confessional: Dawn)
"After my time on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, I kept thinking to myself about experiences with the other contestants on the show." (Sighs) "I wish I was better at socializing with people last season. Back then, everybody was either confused by aura-reading abilities or manipulated into turning against me thanks to Scott.
-We cut to a black and white flashback of Scott framing Dawn back in season 4. Scott told her, "This is a Rat problem. And we'll deal with this Rat tonight. See you at elimination." Everybody left, but the camera panned towards Cameron looking worriedly at an extremely unhappy Dawn. He then moved his eyes to Scott, and then formed an angry glare.-
(End flashback)
"If only I could bring him some sort of justice, but I digress, I need to maintain a good persona to keep my reputation on this show…"
(Silence)
Anyways, I realize that B was pretty much the only one who seemed to tolerate me. But with him gone this season, being more social will likely prove to be quite a challenge for myself, even if B never really socialized with other people to begin with, since I read in his aura that he has some developmental problems that inhibit on his ability to talk with other people. I guess I'll have to just attempt my absolute best to make some new friends here. Maybe Mike, Zoey, and Cameron would be accepting of me this time around? Only time will tell, I suppose…"
(End confessional)
Sometime later, Chris walked up to the cast of this season, with the Drama Machine behind him. Everyone turned his way. "Greetings, my old friends!" he announced.
Heather coughed up a starfish and chucked it away. "I am NOT your friend!" she fumed.
"Aww, somebody misses her hunny-bunny!" proclaimed Lindsay, hugging Heather's face.
Heather appeared worried. "Who, Alejandro?" Then she snapped back to reality. "As if! I'm glad that handsome jerk isn't back!" She pushed Lindsay away and crossed her arms.
"Pfft. Yeah, whatever you say, 'Hunny-bunny'!" Duncan sarcastically added. He and Gwen chuckled at his snide remarks, but Courtney gave them both a death stare.
Courtney soon turned to Chris and scowled, "You're gonna pay for my dry cleaning!"
"No, I'm not. New contracts, remember?" Chris explained.
(Confessional: Courtney)
"Same old Chris, same old disgusting island. Ugh, what was I thinking, coming back to this place?"
(End confessional)
"Anyways," Chris continued, "We've made quite a few changes to this island! There's no more toxic waste…"
The contestants collectively sighed in relief.
"…BUT there's still a lot of mutated creatures roaming the island, like Scott's old buddy, Fang!"
At the mention of the four-legged shark, Scott froze as his eyes shrunk and he began to shiver in fear.
"Also," Chris added, "We've updated the accommodations! The losing team will have to sleep in the crappy old cabins from Seasons 1 through 4…"
The contestants all groaned.
"…But the winning team gets to stay in the all-new, eco-friendly McLean spa hotel! Complete with butler, hot tub, and 24-hour masseuse."
The contestants collectively "Oooh"-ed and "Ahhh"-ed as they gazed at the fancy new amenity.
Chris then explained to the contestants "And in honor of your all-star status, I'm dividing you into teams based on your past performances: Heroes vs. Villains!"
(Confessional: Heather)
"Obviously I'll be on the villain's team. And I'll be running it by lunch. Obviously."
(Confessional: Gwen)
"Heroes vs. Villains? (Sighs) I guess Duncan and I won't be on the same team. Unless Chris considers Duncan a hero… Heh heh, yeah right."
(Confessional: Tyler)
"As long as I get to be on a team with Lindsay for once, then I'm happy!"
(End confessional)
"Heather, Duncan, Justin, Courtney, Lightning, Jo, Anne Maria, Scott, and Gwen!" Chris announced. "From now on, you will be known as the Villainous Vultures!"
"Yeah! Sha-team!" Lightning exclaimed.
"Woah woah woah, hang on a second!" Gwen blurted, "Why am I on the villains team?"
"Because you stole my boyfriend and became the new Heather. Duh!" Courtney snidely rebutted. Gwen just looked down with a remorseful expression on her face.
"Okay, but here's the thing: Do any of us care?" Anne Maria snarked.
The Vultures' response to Anne Maria's question was a collective "No".
Courtney looked surprised, but then she just rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Touché." she scoffed, "But the more important question is, why am I on the villains team?"
"Uhhh… Season 2 ringing any bells?" Chris said, with a wink.
This infuriated Courtney even more. "Touché again..." she groaned.
(Confessional: Gwen)
"Okay, I get why Courtney's mad at me, but I wasn't even too sure if her and Duncan were still a thing! Plus, Duncan made a move on me first and it was all really confusing, so hopefully I'll be able to apologize to Courtney for what happened! Not like she'd forgive me or anything, but it's worth a shot!"
(End confessional)
The Villainous Vultures all moved to one side of the shore. Chris looked to the remaining contestants, and continued, "Mike, Zoey, Cameron, Owen, Lindsay, Tyler, Dawn, Sierra, Brick, and Beth!" he called, "From now on, you'll be known as the Heroic Hamsters!"
"Yes!" Tyler exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air. "I'm on a team with Lindsay!"
"I know, right? This is, like, sooo exciting!" Lindsay exclaimed, and the two began making out immediately after.
"Um, Chris? How are hamsters 'heroic'?" asked Beth.
"It was either that or the Heroic Hippos!" Chris replied.
"In hindsight… Hamsters does sound preferable." said Cameron.
"Ummm, yep. Sounds good to me. Heroic Hamsters it is, then." Beth halfheartedly agreed.
The Heroic Hamsters all walked to the other side of the shore.
"Hang on a second!" Anne Maria piped up, "They've got ten people while we got nine! That ain't fair!"
"Life's not fair, is it?" Chris said sarcastically. "But you're right! I suppose you can have the robot!"
The Drama Machine maneuvers over to the rest of the Vultures and beeps once.
"I thought this thing could talk!" said Scott.
"Meh, the communication chip caked while I was in the hoosegow." said Chris, without any care in his tone.
"Was that English?" asked Lindsay.
The Drama Machine started getting closer to Heather, who pushed the robot away from her. "Keep your distance, toaster head!" she exclaimed in disgust. It was like she could see right through that machine.
(Confessional: Heather)
"There's something about that robot I just don't like. Eughh."
(End confessional)
Chris then went on to explain the season and its challenges. "This year's challenges will contain plenty of nods to classics from the past, but with harsh new twists to make this the toughest Total Drama season ever! Your first challenge: find the key to the spa hotel. You'll do it in an homage to Total Drama's first ever challenge: Cliff diving into water infested with ravenous sharks!"
Scott turned incredibly pale and gulped at the mention of sharks.
(Confessional: Scott)
(Shivering in a fetal position) "Okay, so maybe I have a phobia of s-s-s-sharks, but can you blame me? ESPECIALLY w-w-with what F-F-F-Fang did to me last season!"
(End confessional)
Chris then returned to explaining the challenge. "Once you dive into the water, try to avoid the sharks long enough to snag a key, and choose wisely, because only one of those suckers is the real deal! Assuming you live long enough to reach dry land, a teammate will drive you to the hotel in one of the baby carriages from season three's race through Central Park. First team to unlock the spa door wins, and someone from the losing team will be going home tonight." He clapped twice before shouting, "Chop-chop!"
Chris hopped into a golf cart with an intern, but Mike had to ask him something before he left. "Uh, shouldn't we change into our swimsuits?"
"Sorry, no time!" Chris responded as his intern drove him to the base of the cliff.
Soon after the challenge was announced, the contestants begin to head to the cliff, and also converse in the meantime.
"Sooo, Sierra" Tyler asked the Super-Fan, "Why'd you decide to come back?"
"I wanna win for Cody! We would've won last time if I didn't accidently blow up the plane…." Sierra sighed.
"Well, it looks like your hair grew back nicely!" said Tyler, shooting her a thumbs up.
"Thanks, it's tough to be apart from my man, but it's too dangerous here and I'm sure I can handle this long enough to win the million. Besides, I always keep a folder of pictures of him in my bag in case I need them!" Sierra expressed dreamily.
"Well, at least I don't have to worry about being apart from MY man!" said Lindsay, who ran up to Tyler and kissed him on his cheek. Tyler just smiled.
(Confessional: Sierra)
(Sobbing) "I MISS MY CODY-KINS SOOOO MUCH!"
(End confessional)
Meanwhile, the Vultures begin to interact with each other.
"Excuse me!" said Heather as she shoved Jo behind her.
"Hey! Watch it, old Heather!" snapped Jo, pushing back in front of Heather.
"You watch it, newbie!" Heather fumed as she slammed Jo onto the ground, and the two got into a fist fight.
"Guys!" a worried Gwen shouted. "Just because Chris labeled us as villains doesn't mean we have to act like villains. We should work together as a team!" The other Vultures all agreed sarcastically, with Lightning saying "Okay"; Duncan saying "Sure"; Heather saying "Oh, yeah"; Courtney saying "Yep"; Jo saying "Right"; Anne Maria saying "Yuh-huh"; Justin saying "Indeed"; and Scott saying, "Alright".
(Confessional: Heather)
"Ha ha, as if!"
(Confessional: Courtney)
"No way is that gonna happen. I…"
(Confessional: Jo)
"Don't…"
(Confessional: Duncan)
"Trust…"
(Confessional: Anne Maria)
"Anybody…"
(Confessional: Scott)
"On this…"
(Confessional: Drama Machine)
"Beep beep."
(Confessional: Lightning)
"…Team!"
(Confessional: Justin)
"Although hopefully, the ladies can trust me with my incredibly good looks!" (Smiles with a sparkle in his teeth)
(Confessional: Gwen)
"Heh heh, I think that went well!"
-The Villainous Vultures all laugh evilly while looking at Gwen. -
(End confessional)
The contestants continue walking, as Mike decides to interact with his crush from the previous season, Zoey.
"Sooo, it's nice to be back, I suppose!" Mike said awkwardly.
Zoey giggled. "Yeah, especially since you're here!"
"Yeah, I guess so…" Mike added, sounding somewhat depressed.
Zoey noticed the change in his mood. "Uh, is something wrong?" she asked.
Mike sighed, and then responded, "I guess… it's just that I'm still ashamed of myself for lying to you about my disorder last season. I know you still like me and all, but I wish I could've just been honest from the get-go and made the whole thing way easier on the both of us…"
Zoey understood, but gave a soft smile. "Mike, just as a reminder, I did forgive you." She reassured him, "And I still like you for who you are beyond all the added extras!"
"Really? Thanks!" said Mike, sounding relieved.
"Of course!" Zoey smiled, "At least nothing ended up like The Three Faces of Eve." Mike just looked at her in silence, confused. The Indie Chick's expression turned to mild disappointment. "You know, the movie? It's from the 60's? About the woman with the different personalities-" She started to hesitantly explain, but instantly decided not to. "Umm, never mind that… I'm just glad you're okay, now."
"Oh, Zoey," Mike chuckled lightly, "You and your references. Just one of the many reasons I like you so much!" Zoey looked surprised, and began giggling nervously at this, but then looked away and had a worried look on her face as the camera zoomed in on her fixing her pocket.
(Confessional: Mike)
"Ever since the end of the previous season, I talked with my therapist a bit more and I'm now able to have an easier time controlling when my personalities would come out, although they can still be triggered by certain things. Well, it's a lot better than no control, I suppose!"
(Confessional: Zoey)
(Sighs) "So, the thing is, I have a secret I've been keeping from everyone as well. Yeah, it only happened when I was a child, but I still come prepared everywhere I go just in case it catches up to me again…" (Adjusts her pocket)
(End confessional)
Cameron was walking beside the two, when he turned back and was surprised to see that Dawn was hanging her head low, with her eyes shut. Since they never really interacted last season, Cameron thought this would be a time to help support the Moonchild and get to know her. Without saying anything to Mike and Zoey, he slowly went over to her, and began walking beside her.
Mike took notice of this, and Zoey also looked beside her, asking, "Hey, where'd Cam go?" Mike pointed behind them. They both looked on at their friend, who was attempting to start a conversation of sorts with the Aura Whisperer. They wondered how it was going to turn out.
Cameron kept looking every which way, quite nervous about conversing with somebody he knew, but was unfamiliar with. Dawn seemed to be too depressed to even take notice of him walking by her side, until he cleared his throat and finally said to her, "So… still unhappy about last time, huh?"
Dawn opened her eyes and looked at the ex-Bubble Boy. There was a brief silence, until she sighed and spoke up. "Yes… a bit."
"Sorry that had to happen." Cameron sympathized while putting a hand on Dawn's upper back. "This might sound a bit surprising, but I already knew you were innocent."
Dawn put her hand on Cameron's shoulder and read his aura. "Yes, I can see that," she explained, "And it seems you decided not to reveal it since we were on different teams, and you didn't want Scott to go after you next."
"That's… Actually quite accurate!" said Cameron. "Although I mainly dealt with his cowardice later on…"
"Of course, I saw your performance from back home. I was rooting for you the whole time!" Dawn mentioned.
"Really? Wow, that's an honor!" Cameron beamed.
"Anytime, I'm glad you were able to help!" Dawn responded. "However, I'm worried I might end up too focused on my turmoil with Scott to actually bring any meaningful contributions to this team…"
Cameron looked at her in a bit of worry, before providing some reassurance. "Listen, Dawn," he told her, "I get that what you went through was hard, and sometimes, it can be hard to get over something that hurt you in the past. But remember, that sort of change won't happen overnight. It may take some time and effort, but believe me, it'll all be worth it. Oh, and maybe try and be a bit more… erm… casual when conversing with others. You know, since your abilities, as interesting as they are, did seem to confuse some of the people here, such as Zoey. Maybe you can read an aura or talk to an animal every now and again, but a bit of subtlety would also be good."
This was able to boost Dawn's confidence quite a bit. "Thank you, Cameron. Now that I think about it, I'll make sure to take your advice to heart." she smiled as Cameron put his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. He smiled back. Mike and Zoey were watching them, and they smiled and turned to each other.
After everyone arrived at the summit of the hill, Chris flew in on a jetpack, which caused dust to fly towards the contestants, much to their annoyance. Zoey had a look of recoil on her face.
"Greetings, all-sta-!" Chris began to speak, but stopped right in his tracks as he heard a strange, breathy sound. Everyone turned to see that Zoey was shaking, wheezing almost uncontrollably, and sweating profusely. Her face was bright red. The Heroic Hamsters all looked in shock, and they began to panic.
"Z-Zoey?!" Mike was horrified, "Are you alright? What's going on?"
"It appears she's having a severe asthma attack!" Cameron informed him, "The dust Chris' jetpack kicked up must have gotten in her system!"
"We need to help Molly! And fast!" Lindsay proclaimed worriedly.
Soon after, Zoey, still in her helpless state, dropped to her knees. Her flower even fell off the side of her head. All the other contestants could do was look on in horror. As she fell, an inhaler dropped out from her pocket. Cameron saw this, he gasped and raced right to the dropped inhaler. Mike and Dawn held Zoey up as Cameron rushed to her, loading the medicine into the inhaler, and placing it in her mouth. He started pumping down, and in seconds, Zoey's panicked breathing slowed greatly, until she regained proper air. As she took slow, steady breaths, Zoey looked up at Cameron, and then to Mike and Dawn. Cameron picked her flower up off the ground and handed it back to her. Her lips slowly curled into a light smile. "Hughh… thanks…" She finally was able to utter, with a sigh of relief, and put the flower back in her hair.
A long, twelve-second silence passed after the events that just unfolded, until Chris landed and awkwardly continued from where he left off.
"Anyways… Here's your carriages; Yellow for the Heroes and red for the Vultures. You've all got 30 seconds to figure out who drives, starting now!"
"I'll do it!" Scott shouted.
"Oh, no you don't!" barked Anne Maria, pushing Scott out of her way. "I'm gonna do it!"
Jo then pushed Anne Maria and protested, "Back off, Tanzilla! I'll drive!"
"Sha-please! You're the slowest go-kart driver ever!" Lightning remarked.
Jo's frown turned into a smirk. "But I'm also the shopping cart racing circuit champion!" she responded.
(Confessional: Jo)
"Heh heh, no, I'm not! I just said that because-"
(Confessional: Lightning)
"Gotta respect championship status. Jo drives!"
(End confessional)
Lightning carried Scott away on his shoulders after deciding on the driver. "Aww, man!" Scott whined.
Gwen walked up to Jo and asked her, "Wait, Jo, wouldn't Lightning make a better diver since he's so athletic?"
"Nobody tells me or Jockstrap what to do, Gothball!" snarled Jo, "And don't even try to kiss me!" Gwen simply gasped at this and said, "What?"
"Ooooh, that's gotta hurt." Justin remarked.
(Confessional: Gwen)
"After three seasons of kindness, I'm reduced to 'evil kisser' status? Neither of us thought Courtney was still with Duncan! Plus, Duncan tried flirting with me, and I got all suckered in by it, ugh! Even I'm confused by it all!"
(Confessional: Courtney)
"Hmm, that Jo… I'm already starting to like her."
(End confessional)
Chris looked towards the Heroes and announced, "Fifteen seconds!"
"I think you can do it, Zoey!" Cameron said to the Indie Chick.
"Maybe you could do it, Mike!" Zoey told her love interest.
"I think I should do it since I'm the heaviest!" said Owen.
"That's a great idea, soldier!" said Brick, high-fiving Owen.
"Looks like Oscar's driving then!" said Lindsay.
"Cool!" exclaimed Owen, running towards his team's carriage.
"Ok, everyone but Jo and Owen, up the cliff you go!" Chris explained, pointing to the top of the cliff. Everyone started running.
We cut to the top of the hill, where Chris sees the out-of-breath contestants arriving. Lightning runs up and shouts "Sha-first!"
"Do you ever sha-shut up?" Gwen remarked, annoyed at Lightning's antics.
Beth walked up to the cliff and became nervous. "Ah, crap… I chickened out during this challenge!" she cried.
"Don't worry, Beth!" said Lindsay, trying to ease her best friend's worries. "If you could stand up to a bully like Heather, make it to the finale, AND have feelings for three, maybe four guys at the same time, then you can jump off this cliff!"
"Aww, thanks Lindsay!" replied Beth, as she briefly hugged her friend.
(Confessional: Beth)
"Honestly, Lindsay has a point. I'm sure I can do this! Ever since I told Heather off, I've grown as a person!"
(End confessional)
Soon after Lindsay's pep talk, Mike, Zoey, and Scott all caught a glimpse of a familiar face from the previous season; the four-legged mutant shark monster, Fang.
"Fang?!" they collectively shouted.
"Who?" Gwen asked.
"Oh, no one THAT important," Sierra explained, "Just a mutant shark who brutally maimed Scott for stealing one of his teeth, and ended up putting him in a robotic wheelchair!"
Scott clung to Sierra's leg and stammered, "Y-y-yep!"
"Wait, but Steve's on the other team!" Lindsay mentioned.
"That dummy's right!" Anne Maria exclaimed. She grabbed onto Scott and dragged him back to the rest of their team. "Get back over here, ya big baby!" she growled.
The camera soon pans over to Chris, who turns to the audience and says, "Who's the best key spotter, and who'll be dead in the shark-infested water? Find out when Total Drama: All-Stars returns!"
(Commercial break)
After the break, we cut back to the cliff, where everyone is ready to dive except for Scott, who is shivering in a fetal position.
"Places people! It's diving time!" Chris announced.
"Uhh, a-after you! I insist!" Scott said to Justin, pushing him towards the cliff.
"Excuse me?" remarked an offended Justin. "Why should I go first? This could mess up my perfect face!"
"Ya think? I don't wanna mess up the pouffe OR the tan!" Anne Maria added, spraying more hairspray into her "pouffe".
"Puh-lease! That tan is even more fake than Donald Trump's!" Justin mocked.
"What'd you just say, pretty boy?" Anne Maria fumed, offended by Justin's remarks. She started to crush her spray can in her fist.
"Uhh, I said that your tan is, uh, amazing! Yeah!" Justin nervously recovered.
"I ain't deaf ya know, I was just tryin' to get the point across!" snarked Anne Maria.
"What point?" asked Justin
"The point that ya shouldn't have said what ya said!" shouted Anne Maria, who decided to take the opportunity to shove Justin off the cliff and into the water, sending him screaming below. "Aaaahhhh!"
(Confessional: Justin)
"Unlike Anne Maria, I have a 100% natural tan! One of the many perks of being a Pacific Islander! Although, I probably won't be able to mess with her now…"
(End confessional)
However, once Justin landed in the water, he saw Lindsay holding a key.
"When did YOU get here?" he asked the blond broad.
Lindsay responded to him by stating, "Oh yeah, since you were distracted by yelling at Amy Marinara, and since I wanted to show Beth that the jump wouldn't be so bad, and since I wanted to impress Tyler, I decided to just jump in and- "
Justin cut Lindsay off, saying "Never mind, forget I asked." and dove underwater.
"Get to the carriage, Lindsay! We don't want to fall behind!" Cameron shouted.
"Oh, right! My bad!" Lindsay replied as she swam to the shore and hopped into the carriage, where Owen began to drive her to the spa hotel.
Justin eventually found a key and ran over to Jo, who proceeded to toss him into the carriage and run to the spa hotel. Meanwhile, Owen and Lindsay had finally arrived at the door to the resort, where Lindsay jumped out of the carriage and put the key into the keyhole, but to no avail.
"It doesn't work!" cried Lindsay. She soon got into the carriage as Owen rushed her back to the cliff.
Meanwhile, Jo had finally arrived with Justin, who tried the key, only to discover that it was a phony. "Ugh!" he groaned as he ran back to the carriage.
The next two contestants to jump would be Beth and Lightning. Beth started to hesitate despite her best friend being able to jump without any problems, giving the Vultures a chance to catch up to them. Lightning saw his teammates return and shouted "Sha-dive!" before diving off the cliff like an Olympian. Beth nervously gulped, shouted, "Screw it!", and jumped off the cliff, screaming all the way down until she got to the water.
(Confessional: Beth)
"Well, I grew up on a farm, so it's not too often that I'd do something as crazy as jumping off of a 2,000-foot cliff! Unless getting your finger degloved by a turkey could fit that sort of criteria…"
(End confessional)
Lightning swam up to the surface with a key in hand, and shouted, "Sha-key!" as he ran to the carriage, where Jo would take him to the hotel. Beth emerged from the water soon after, but gasped in fear once she saw the major advantage that the opposing team had, so she scurried over to the carriage and Owen drove her to the hotel. Both Lightning's and Beth's keys didn't work.
"Come on, key! Get in the lock!" Lightning grumbled.
"It doesn't fit because it's the wrong key, Bright-ning!" Jo mocked. Lightning shrugged and headed back.
Beth inserted her key, but it also didn't work. She said, "Dang it!" and ran back to the carriage.
While Owen was rushing back to the cliff, Beth was impressed by how he was able to run back and forth while pushing the weight of her and previously Lindsay, and decided to point it out.
"Sooo, Owen? I guess it's cool that you're able to push our carriage!" Beth started.
"Yeah! And if you're wondering, my legs feel like jelly! Mmm… jelly…"
"Um, Owen?" Beth had to snap Owen out of his trance.
Owen shook his head back and forth, and came back to his senses. "What? Oh, yeah- but I'm trying as hard as I can since I want to know what kind of food they have in that hotel!" said Owen.
"Oh, look!" Beth pointed in front of them. "I can see the Vultures up ahead!"
And Beth was right. Jo glanced back and saw the Hamsters catching up to them, causing her to run a bit faster in order to keep her team's lead.
Cut to the cliff, where Mike is talking to Zoey about earlier. "Hey, Zoey," he tells her, "I'm sorry that had to happen back there, I'm glad you're fine, now."
Zoey looked a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, it's just… Well, I never told you this earlier, so talk about déjà vu, am I right?" She gave an awkward chuckle, and continued, "But when I inhale stuff like dust, well, I have a really hard time breathing and I have to use an inhaler." She held the device up.
"Really?" said Mike.
"Yeah," Zoey continued, "It used to happen a whole lot more to me when I was younger, but by high school, it became much less frequent." She looked down at her inhaler in her hand. "I still bring this with me wherever I go in case I need it."
"Wow… I'm really sorry, Zoey," Mike apologized.
"Yeah," Zoey sighed, "I was just afraid that people would think I was weak or something, you know?"
Cameron was listening in, and heard everything. He put his hand on Zoey's shoulder. "Hey," he began to reassure her, "There's nothing you should be ashamed of, Zoey. These are just the kind of things that make us all human." Mike tapped his finger on her chest. "Yeah, Zoey, they're what make you special. And just know that we will never, ever, EVER stop caring about you, no matter what happens."
Zoey softly smiled, with a single tear rolling down from her eye. "Thanks, guys."
Mike and Cameron just smiled back. Zoey wiped the tear from her eye and put her inhaler back in her pocket. They turned and saw Owen returning with the carriage.
Mike then announced to his team, "I'll jump next! I mean, I'll have Svetlana jump next!"
(Confessional: Zoey)
"I've never felt such a relief now that Mike and Cam won't judge me because of my issue. I feel like I can stop holding my breath now…
(Pause)
Alright, I'm sorry, that was kind of a low-hanging fruit. But anyways… Mike's personalities are a bit… out there, but if I were to choose my favorite out of them, then it would have to be Svetlana. I guess she's just a lot more versatile than the other ones, and I like her athleticism! It kinda feels like we're in American Anthem! Ha ha!"
(Pauses, her smile turns into a frown)
"Uhhh, American Anthem? Eighties movie? About two gymnasts who fall in love? It's… pretty good…" (Sighs)
(End confessional)
"Good luck, Mike/Svetlana!" laughed Zoey, who kissed Mike's cheek soon after her sentiments, making the two of them blush.
Right as Owen returned with Beth, Brick pulled out a trumpet and played the Bugler's Fanfare, causing Mike to change into his Russian gymnast persona, Svetlana.
"UN SVETLANA ES GOING FOR ZE GOLD!" Svetlana shouted as she dove into the water, impressing the other contestants with her form. She picked up a key and did some gymnastics over to the carriage, but changed back into Mike after landing.
Meanwhile, Anne Maria had also jumped in, and managed to pick up a key. However, a shark was closing in behind her. She turned around, and wanted to scream, but she just gagged on the water she was taking in. The shark tried taking a bite out of her hair, but all of its teeth shattered and fell out. She hurriedly swam to the surface coughing up the water she took in. She sighed in relief.
(Confessional: Anne Maria)
"And THAT'S what happens when you mess with the pouffe!" (Flicks her hair, making a metallic clanging sound)
(End confessional)
Dawn was watching events unfold from the cliff and cried out, "Oh, that poor creature!"
Zoey turned and looked at Dawn. "I'm not sure if I'd consider sharks worth that much sympathy." She remarked, "I mean, have you ever seen Jaws?"
"Actually, I have! And it was quite a good film!" Dawn responded.
"I guess we can both agree on that!" Zoey said with a brief chuckle.
"Yes," Dawn replied, "it's just… that ending was a bit… brutal…"
Meanwhile, in the Heroes' carriage, Mike changed back to himself and said "*gasp* Nice, I got a key!"
"Yeah. By the way, sweet form out there, dude!" said Owen.
"Huh? Oh, uh, thanks!" said Mike. For some reason, he had a strong feeling Owen didn't know about his disorder.
"Uh, I was complimenting Svetlana's form!" Owen pointed out. "I saw the previous season back home, so I already knew about your Multiple Personality Disorder!"
Mike's eyes shrunk in fear. "Y-you do?" he said in a worried tone.
"Yeah, but don't worry," Owen added, "I still think you and your other personalities are cool! Plus, you're not the only person with some kind of disorder here!"
"Huh? What do you mean?" Mike asked.
Owen's expression dropped a bit, and he explained, "Well, I haven't really told anyone about this, but the reason I'm so energetic and easily-excited boils down to the fact that I have REALLY bad ADHD!"
"Well, the more you know, I suppose!" said Mike.
(Confessional: Owen)
"I would've also mentioned all the stuff Izzy was said to have- I miss you by the way, babe- (blows kiss), but by the time I'd finish, we'd be at the hotel!"
(Confessional: Mike)
"Owen's such a nice guy! I'm glad he didn't see me as some sort of freak for my disorder, unlike the people who used to bully me in school for it… But Owen would never do something like that! Right?"
(End confessional)
As per usual, the keys that were selected did not work, much to the annoyance of Anne Maria and Mike. Meanwhile, at the cliff, the Vultures were deciding who would go next, and the majority was in favor of Scott.
"Alright, so who should go next?" Courtney asked.
"I say Scaredy-Pants over here should do it!" snarked Duncan, referring to Scott.
"W-w-what? N-no! I ain't goin' d-down there if F-F-Fang's there!" Scott wailed. Fang was above the water. The shark monster waved at Scott with a mean glare, making the farm boy even more panicked.
"Oh, come on!" groaned Heather. "If you could get to the top 4 last season and somehow do really well with rigging challenges, you can jump off this cliff!"
"N-n-no way!" Scott tried to protest.
"Well, I'm pretty sure Jo and Anne Maria are almost here, so we'll have to decide quickly!" said Gwen, trying to be reasonable with her teammates.
"If I go, can you give me a kiss for luck?" Duncan asked her smugly, and leaned in for a kiss. Gwen hesitated, mainly due to Courtney's presence, causing Duncan to be confused. She turned to Courtney, who had a fiery look in her eyes. Gwen quickly turned back and gulped.
(Confessional: Duncan)
"What was that? Pfft, whatever, let's just hope Gwen doesn't act all weak around me like this all season!"
(Confessional: Courtney)
"Why didn't Gwen want to kiss Duncan? Whatever the case, I'm still furious with her, but I'm still wondering what this means for us…"
(Confessional: Gwen)
"If I want Courtney to know that I'm sincerely sorry, then I gotta show her that I don't want to be with Duncan and that he would be better with her. Unless she doesn't want him at all after what happened. But still, actions speak louder than words, I suppose."
(End confessional)
"Maybe COURTNEY should do it! I mean, she did chicken out last time!" said Justin.
"What!?" Courtney was caught off guard by Justin's remarks.
"Lightning's on board with that!" Lightning agreed, and grabbed hold of Courtney.
"Aaahh! Hey, let go!" Courtney yelled, and she was thrashing and hitting at Lightning as he carried her to the edge of the cliff.
"Kobe!" Lightning shouted, throwing Courtney off the cliff like a basketball, the latter screaming as she fell into the water.
(Confessional: Lightning)
"Ha! That was almost too easy!"
(Confessional: Justin)
"Well, she's finally jumped off that cliff after so long. Good for her, I suppose!" (Chuckles)
(End confessional)
Courtney soon emerged angrily from the water, Jo waiting nearby. "YOU'RE A DEAD MAN, LIGHTNING!" she screamed, jumping back into the carriage.
Meanwhile, Sierra decided she would jump next, explaining, "It's what Cody would want!" before leaping into the water.
"I'm not gonna lie, Sierra's obsession with Cody is pretty… extreme." said Beth after Sierra was no longer in earshot. "I mean, you don't see Lindsay like this around Tyler!"
"And I'm glad she isn't!" said Tyler, holding his girlfriend.
"I know, right?" added Lindsay, kissing his cheek.
"Yeah." said Beth. "Also, sorry I got distracted before I jumped in…"
"Hey, it's all water under the bridge!" Brick stated, "Just try and make sure your head's in the game next time, and there shouldn't be any trouble!" Beth smiled.
(Confessional: Beth)
"Brick's advice was actually really good! I'll certainly make sure I try harder in the next challenge!"
(End confessional)
At the spa hotel, Courtney jammed the key into the keyhole, only for the key to be, you guessed it, false. "Seriously?" she whined as she rushed back to her team's carriage.
As Owen and Sierra were racing to the hotel, Sierra realized that the key she chose had a part of it shaped like her idol, Cody, and she squealed.
"This key has Cody's head on it!" she rejoiced, "It must be the correct one!"
"I wouldn't be so sure…" responded Owen, worried that she could end up being wrong.
"Oh, I am sure!" said Sierra confidently, "As sure as Cody being the person my heart belongs to!" She held the key to her heart and hummed amorously.
"Yeah, sure…" Owen exuded.
(Confessional: Sierra)
"Back when the previous season was still going, I found out where Cody lived through the internet and tried paying him a visit, buuuut it didn't quite go how I planned it to… heh heh…" (Scratches the back of her head)
- We cut to a flashback of Cody in his room playing a video game, but Sierra soon walked up to his window and started watching him with binoculars. After some time, Cody noticed his stalker and screamed in terror, although Sierra just grinned creepily at the sight of her crush. -
(End flashback)
"…Yeah, I did end up getting arrested, but it was definitely worth every second in that jail cell to see my Cody-Bear again!" (Sighs dreamily)
(End confessional)
Cut back to the main show, Owen arrived with Sierra at the hotel and was rather out of breath due to how physically straining his duty was. Sierra leaped out of the carriage and ran up to the door, but her key didn't seem to work.
"Looks like it doesn't work!" Owen shouted. "Let's head on back now!"
"NO WAY!" THIS ONE HAS GOT TO WORK! IT HAS THE MAN OF MY DREAMS ON IT!" Sierra screamed as she frantically jiggled her key into the keyhole.
"This won't be fun…" Owen sighed.
(Confessional: Owen)
"Yeah, I'll probably have an easy time knowing who I'm gonna vote for tonight."
(End confessional)
Meanwhile, at the cliff, Heather got the idea to have the Drama Machine jump next.
"Hey, metalhead!" Heather called to the robot, "How about you go next?"
The robot beeped once.
"What's that? You'd be delighted to go?" Heather asked.
The robot beeped twice, the second beep being slightly longer.
"Well, it looks like Jo's back, and you'll be back too!" Heather remarked.
"Ohhh, I get it!" said Gwen, understanding the reference Heather made. Zoey would be proud of this one.
Heather soon pushed the Drama Machine off the cliff, only for it to short-circuit and explode once it hit the water. However, after blowing up, a familiar face emerged from the water, earning shocked reactions from everyone. And that familiar face was none other than Alejandro Burromuertos, but he looked pretty beat up, even donning a five-o'clock shadow. He smiled at the camera, a glint in his teeth, and winked.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Heather cried.
(Confessional: Alejandro)
"Last thing I remember, I was burned to a crisp by the volcano and Chris sealed me up in that robot suit to (makes 'finger quotes') 'heal'. But alas, it feels good to be free after all this time! I must thank my dear Heather for her impatience!"
(End confessional)
After grabbing a key from underwater, Alejandro swam to the shore and tried to run towards Jo and the carriage, with the latter rushing him to the hotel.
"The other team's been at the hotel for a long time now," She told him as she drove him, "so unless they won and Chris didn't say anything, we could have a shot at winning!"
Meanwhile, at the hotel, Sierra was still convinced that her "Cody" key would work, although Owen was becoming very impatient with her.
"C'mon, Sierra!" Owen groaned, "It obviously doesn't work!"
"Well, we've been here for a while, so I'll just break that window, jump in, unlock the door from inside, and we win!" Sierra spat out. She picked up a rock and aimed it at a window, but Owen, fed up with her ineptitude, grabbed her arm and restrained her.
"Sierra, knock it off! We're falling behind!" he snapped.
"Geez, I thought it would work…" Sierra muttered.
Owen dragged Sierra to the carriage and tossed her in, but by that point, Jo had arrived with Alejandro.
Owen gasped. "Al? When did you get here, man?"
Alejandro ignored Owen and ran up to the door. He put his key in the keyhole and, to his surprise, the door opened.
"Finalmente!" he shouted.
"The door is open! The Villainous Vultures win!" Chris announced.
"Yes!" said Jo, pumping her fist in the air.
"Alright!" Alejandro cheered.
"Aww!" Sierra whined.
"Ugh!" Owen moaned.
"As for the Heroic Hamsters, one of you will be going home tonight. See you then, heh heh!" Chris said before leaving.
Cut to the cabin that the Hamsters have to stay in for the night, as they discuss who they might vote off.
"Alright team! We have to discuss potential people to eliminate tonight!" Brick announced.
"I agree, but won't the person or people we have in mind to vote for likely hear us?" Cameron asked.
"Don't worry, the person I had in mind isn't here!" said Owen.
Cameron turned to Owen. "I can tell that you're referring to Sierra, but where did she go to begin with?"
"She's in the bathroom." Tyler answered, "Although I wonder why she brings a picture of Cody with her when she goes there… Never mind! I don't want to know!"
There was a brief period of silence after Tyler's comment, with everyone exchanging awkward looks at him.
"Yeah… right… but anyways, why Sierra?" Cameron continued.
"Well, she found a key that was shaped like Cody, and so she thought it would work, but it didn't work, and so she got really mad about it and tried to throw a rock through a window just so we could win!" Owen explained.
"Yeesh!" replied Mike, "Well at least Zoey's not like that, right Zoey?"
Zoey said nothing.
Mike was now concerned. "Uhm, Zoey?" He got down from his bunk and went over to Zoey, who was watching the Vultures' antics in the spa hotel with a pair of binoculars.
"What are you looking at?" Mike asked.
"I was wondering how the hotel was gonna be like for the other team." Zoey explained to him, "Turns out, they're definitely having a lot more fun than we are!"
Brick chimed in. "Don't be so down! As my drill sergeant told me, you might not do well at something your first time, but there'll always be another time for you to succeed!"
"Thanks Brick…" said Zoey, who thought Brick's advice was rather good.
Dawn looked nervously at Zoey. The Moonchild then soon walked up to her, and asked, "Zoey, can I see what's going on over there?"
"Oh, sure." Zoey said, as she handed her binoculars to Dawn, who then looked through them in the direction of the spa hotel and felt rather uneasy.
"Are you okay?" Zoey asked Dawn.
Dawn sighed and said, "It's Scott." She looked through Zoey's binoculars again to see Scott getting a full-body massage, and explained "I wish I could've seen his aura sooner, before he framed all those people for his wrongdoings!" She then set the binoculars aside and said "I would know, since I was one of his earliest victims…"
Zoey put her hand on Dawn's shoulder. "It's okay, Dawn. We all know now that you were innocent."
"I already knew that since I actually watched the last season!" Owen pointed out.
"But listen," Zoey explained, "he's on the other team. You don't have to worry about anything."
Dawn cracked a smile. "Thank you, Zoey." The red-haired girl smiled back.
(Confessional: Dawn)
"I'm glad Zoey was able to help assuage my worries about this season. I do still feel kind of bad about how I interacted with her last season, though… I wonder if I could make it up to her…"
(End confessional)
It is now nighttime, and the Heroic Hamsters are gathered around the elimination area.
"Welcome to your first elimination, Heroic Hamsters! Villainous Vultures, do you like our new peanut gallery?" said Chris, as he pointed at the stands where the contestants on the other team were currently sitting.
"It's fine, I guess." Lindsay shrugged.
"Good to hear!" said Chris. "Before we start, however, we'll need someone from the Vultures to volunteer for a special reward."
"Ha! Sha-Lightning!" Lightning shouted as he leapt from his seat and struck a pose.
"Great! Your reward is spending the night in exile on Boney Island with all the hungry, wild animals!" Chris explained.
"Aww, now how's THAT a reward?" Lightning whined.
Chris then explained "Because somewhere on the island is a McLean Invincibility Statue. Find it, and you're golden!"
"Now he tells us!" Scott scoffed.
Lightning walked with Chef to the Dock of Shame, where he was soon escorted away to Boney Island. We soon cut back to the elimination area, after everyone had casted their votes.
"Alright, everybody, the votes are in!" Chris announced. "You all know how this works: I call your name, you get a marshmallow. If you got the most votes, you don't get a marshmallow, and you're outta here! Now, the following Hamsters are safe for tonight: Brick, Dawn, Zoey, Mike, Cameron, Tyler, Owen, and Lindsay!" After announcing each safe contestant's name, he would throw them a marshmallow. Owen ate his immediately after receiving it.
He turned to Beth and Sierra. "Beth, Sierra, you two are on the chopping block for tonight! Beth, you're here because you hesitated right before jumping, causing your teammates some precious time!"
"Yeah…" Beth moaned, rubbing the back of her neck with her hand.
"And Sierra," Chris continued, "you're here because you wasted even more precious time thanks to your insane delusions regarding your precious little 'Cody-Kins'!" He slightly shuddered.
"I seriously thought the key would work!" argued Sierra.
"Well, it didn't, now did it?" Chris mocked. "Anyways, the final girl safe tonight is…." Both Sierra and Beth had worried expressions as they waited in anxious anticipation to see who would be the first person eliminated.

"Beth!"
"Ah, that's a relief!" sighed Beth as she caught the last marshmallow.
"Oh, come on!" wailed Sierra.
"You kind of had it coming…" Cameron stated.
"Yeah, what he said!" Owen agreed, "Good riddance, ya looney!" he then remarked.
"By the way Chris, the actual reason I voted for Beth was because she kissed Cody in season 1!" Sierra pointed out.
"It was platonic!" cried Beth. "Although he is kinda cute..." Sierra gave Beth a hairy eyeball and growled like an agitated dog. The Wannabe covered her mouth in response.
Chris continued, "So, this season, we have a new way to send our contestants home! If you all could follow me…" so they did.
We then cut to the Dock of Shame, where Chris shows off a massive slingshot to the Heroic Hamsters.
"I present to you, the Sling Of Shame!" Chris announced.
The contestants collectively "Oooh"ed and "Ahhh"ed at the new elimination device.
"I know, I've really outdone myself with this one! We almost went with a toilet, but that just felt dumb, even for our standards, so we got this instead!" Chris gloated as Sierra was thrown into the slingshot by Chef. "Any last words, Sierra?"
"Well, I guess I should clarify why I've become a bit more... Engrossed in my pursuit for my wonderful Cody-Wody again..." Sierra began.
"Yeah, I was kinda wondering why, so hopefully it'll be a good reason!" Owen said in an annoyed tone.
"You see, it all started when..." but before the Super-Tall Super-Fan could go any further into her discussion, Chef let go of the rubber part of the slingshot she was standing against, causing her to fly into the air screaming.
Chris turned to the camera. "Well, that's one down and nineteen to go!" he narrated, "Will the Heroic Hamsters be able to pull off a heroic victory? Will Lightning survive a night on Boney Island? And will Courtney get over what happened three seasons ago? Find out all this and more next time on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"
VOTES:
Sierra: Beth
Everyone else: Sierra
ELIMINATION TABLE:
20th: Sierra
NOTES FROM AUTHOR:
And there we have it! The first episode of Total Drama All-Stars Improved! I decided to have Sierra as the first boot since I loathed her in World Tour, and I didn't think Lindsay deserved to be eliminated first since she was such an enjoyable character in the earlier seasons! Oh, but if you're wondering why Sierra regressed back to acting like how she used to, I'll explain that in another episode.
But anyways, as to why I added in certain characters, I had Owen and Beth because they were the only finalists not present in the original All-Stars, Justin to include all the main antagonists, Tyler because I wanted to explore his relationship with Lindsay a bit more, and Anne Maria and Brick since I saw potential in their respective characters, although that'll be explored throughout future episodes, and Anne Maria will mainly serve as an anti-hero for the season. I also changed the elimination device since I wanted more of the eliminations (Especially some of the later ones) to carry more of an emotional impact, and it's hard to do that when someone's about to be flushed down a toilet. Hope you all enjoyed this, another special thanks to StayOuttaMyShed for co-writing this, and I hope you'll enjoy what I have in store!
