"Collision Cour-tney" Total Drama All-Stars Improved Episode 2

(Narration from Chris) "Last time on Total Drama: All-Stars! 20 contestants across the previous seasons returned to Camp Wawanakwa for another shot at a million bucks, and were split into two new teams based on their past performance in other seasons, being the Heroic Hamsters and the Villainous Vultures! The first challenge was simple enough: Dive off a 2,000-foot cliff, snag a key in shark-infested waters, and then ride in a stroller to the new spa hotel; but in the end, Sierra's disturbing obsession with Cody gave the Villainous Vultures the upper hand in securing the first victory of the season, and the Heroic Hamsters had the Super-Fan be the first unfortunate individual to take the Sling Of Shame! Which team will win the challenge today? And who will have someone sent away? Find out right here on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"

After the intro, we cut to inside the run-down cabin that the Heroic Hamsters had to sleep in due to losing the previous challenge. A mosquito flew from out of the open window and onto Owen's neck, where it began draining his blood like a vampire. He started tossing and turning while this happened.

"Meh… Mr. Donut, why does my neck feel so itchy?" Owen muttered. He then woke up to the mosquito, still sucking on his neck. He yelped and instantly smacked it off of him.

(Confessional: Owen)

(Compulsively itching his mosquito bite) "It's so annoying how bug bites are so itchy, yet you're not supposed to scratch them! At least it feels nice for a few seconds…" (stops itching and lets out a sigh of relief, only to return to itching soon after) "AAAHHH! ITCHYYY!"

(End confessional)

Brick is shown sleeping in the bunk above Owen, until his alarm clock starts up and he leaps out of his bed to set it off. Due to the alarm clock being so annoying to Mike, he gasped and soon changed into his grumpy old man persona, Chester.

"Ergh, would you darn kids keep the yammerin' down? I'm tryin' to sleep 'ere!" Chester scolded.

"Up and at 'em, soldiers!" Brick announced to his teammates. "We gotta be on our A-game if we want to win today's challenge!"

The rest of the Hamsters all woke up, feeling rather groggy due to being abruptly awoken by Brick's blaring alarm.

"Well, I will give credit where credit is due, that alarm is a rather effective way of awakening us!" Cameron complimented.

"It's effective at being loud…" a still tired Lindsay muttered.

"Seriously," Zoey added, "Couldn't you at least make it so it can play something more endearing, like The Monkees?"

Nobody responded. Zoey looked around in astonishment. "The Monkees? You know, English rock band? Kinda like The Beatles, but… ah, never mind." She looked at the ground in disappointment.

"Anyways," Brick continued, "we lost the first challenge, and we don't want to lose another, so we'll have to be prepared for whatever Chris throws at us and do the best we can to insure our victory!"

"You can count on us!" said Zoey.

"Alright!" cheered Mike.

"I'm so in!" Tyler agreed.

Meanwhile, at the spa hotel, all the Villainous Vultures (Excluding Gwen) are sitting at a dining table eating food that's actually edible and tastes good for a change instead of the poor-quality meals Chef usually cooks.

"Man, being a villain is awesome!" said Duncan, his mouth full of pancakes.

"I know!" Scott replied. "And the best part, I actually got to sleep on an actual pillow last night! And let me tell you, that is way more comfortable than sleeping with a burlap sack that's usually full of animals like I have to back on the farm! Ever had a pillow bite your face? Ugh, it ain't pleasant."

Jo swallowed some french toast, then told her team, "Yeah, this is some good stuff we've got going on here, but we'll have to make sure that we keep winning if we want to keep getting this sort of treatment!"

"Well, I usually already get this sort of treatment given my social status!" Justin claimed.

"Whatevs." said Anne Maria. "Hey, anybody seen Gothball 'round here?"

"Actually," Courtney snidely answered, "no, I haven't. And I couldn't be happier!"

Duncan finished his food and said "Fine, I'll go look for her."

"Of course, you will…" Courtney groaned. Duncan just rolled his eyes.

Duncan then left the table and searched all around the spa resort for Gwen, but to no avail. He decided to check outside for good measure when he heard what sounded like someone sighing. He looked down to discover Gwen sitting near the door and looking depressed.

"Woah, what's going on with you?" Duncan asked.

Gwen wiped away her tears and said weakly, "Well, I just, I still feel bad about what happened last season between you and I, and I, (sniff), I want to try and say sorry to Courtney, but it's too late at this point because everyone hates me for what I did!" Gwen then began crying and shouted, "I'm such a bad person!"

Duncan, who usually didn't care for anything, sat down beside Gwen feeling both worried and sympathetic for her. "Yeah, sorry you feel that way," he said, curling his arm around her, "I've tried explaining everything to Courtney, but she just ends up screaming at me for kissing you, so I tend to just steer clear of her."

"Do you think she'll ever forgive me?" Gwen asked.

"I doubt it," Duncan shook his head.

"Whatever." said Gwen, who had now stopped crying. "By the way, Duncan, I wanted to tell you this earlier, but I didn't have the time, so I'll tell you now."

"Okay, what is it?" Duncan asked.

Gwen inhaled and told him, "I think we should just be friends."

Duncan blinked twice in response to this. "What?" he said, confused.

"Don't get me wrong, you're a great guy and all, but I think we'd be better off as just friends rather than being together. I hope you understand." Gwen explained.

Duncan sighed. "I get it. And I'm sorry I was likely the reason Courtney hates us."

"It's okay," said Gwen, and the two exchanged a hug, after which, Gwen asked "On another note, I wonder how Lightning's holding up on Boney Island…"

On Boney Island, Lightning seemed to have forgotten about the Invincibility Statue and was instead hunting for some food. He used a twig to spear a fish and shouted "Ha! Struck by Lightning! Sha-bam!"

Before he could eat the fish however, Chef pulled up on the shore of the island with a barge and shouted through a megaphone, "LIGHTNING! YOUR EXILE HAS ENDED!"

"Cool beans!" said Lightning as he headed over to the barge.

Back on the main island, the contestants were standing on the beach waiting for Lightning to return. Once Chef came back with him, he tossed Lightning onto the shore, who then proceeded to rejoin his team.

"So, how was it, Jockstrap?" Jo asked.

"It sucked!" Lightning whined, "I couldn't even get my hands on any food!"

"Any luck finding the invincibility statue?" Scott asked.

"No need, Lightning IS an invincibility statue!" Lightning proclaimed.

(Confessional: Jo)

"Another reason why I want him gone. He thinks he's all that and a bag of chips!" (Simultaneously rolls her eyes and facepalms)

(End confessional)

"Bonjour, mes campers!" Chris announced in a thick French accent. "Some of you will recall our season 3 Parisian 'Find And Build a Sculpture' debacle. Well, this time, our interns have buried 3D puzzle pieces all over the beach, with seven pieces per team. Find all your pieces and assemble them on your platform to recreate one of the landmarks visited on our world tour. First team to finish their puzzle wins."

"Sounds easy enough!" said Owen. "We got this!"

"Aw yeah!" Tyler shouted. He and Owen high-fived.

"Since the Villainous Vultures won the last challenge, they all get shovels." Chris explained, as ten shovels were soon thrown towards the Vultures. Most of them caught theirs, except for Courtney, who dodged the shovel flying towards her, and Anne Maria, who had a shovel collide with her hair and simply bounce right off of it without doing any damage to it.

"Good thing I brought extra hairspray!" Anne Maria stated before she sprayed more hairspray into her hair.

One of the shovels was about to hit Gwen in the face, but Lightning caught it just in time. This left Heather as the only villain without a shovel. "Um, hello?" she quipped at Lightning, "Shovel, please?"

"No way!" Lightning answered. He held one shovel up, and then the other as he explained, "When this one gets tired, I'll use this one!" Gwen winced as Heather took one of Lightning's shovels and hit him with it. She walked away with the shovel, which Lightning's head had left an imprint on. The camera then pans to his welted, dazed face.

Owen, who was walking towards his team's platform, then asked "Hey, where are our shov-" but before he could complete his sentence, the ground beneath him gave way, as he fell into a pit filled with crabs.

"AAAHHHHHH! STUPID CRABS!" Owen screamed as the crabs started pinching all over his body.

"I don't know why, but it gets funnier every time!" Chris laughed.

"Owen! Are you okay?" Zoey asked as she rushed to his side to pull him out. She nearly strained herself as she tried hoisting him for a good 50 seconds until he started lifting slowly from the hole. The rest of their team cheered her on. "Huhhh, I think I've got him!" Zoey exclaimed.

But when she almost had him back to the surface, however, one of the crabs leapt off of Owen's foot and clamped down hard on Zoey's nose. She screamed as she started flailing her arms, dropping Owen right back into the pit.

"GETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFFGETITOFF!" She started running frantically back and forth until the rest of the Heroes ran to their aid.

Most of the other Heroes grabbed hold of Owen to pull him up, but they mostly struggled. All the while, crabs were flying out and snapping at everyone. One crab latched onto Mike's leg, a couple of others tangled themselves in Lindsay's hair, and one even clamped Tyler's crotch, causing him to whimper in great pain. Nevertheless, they persisted.

Cameron held onto Zoey and pried the crab right off of her nose. She responded with a quick, loud, "Yowch!" They then joined the others in lifting Owen out of the pit. It took a few tries, but they eventually managed to pull him all the way back up, and plucked all of the crabs off his big body and themselves.

Owen let out a big "HUFF!" in relief. "Gee, thanks, you guys!"

"Not a problem!" Cameron replied.

"Wow, that was hard, but nice work there, everyone!" said Lindsay, who was impressed with her teammates' persistence.

"Indeed!" Brick then commended everybody's teamwork. "Way to help out your teammates in need, especially after just recovering from your own!"

"Thanks, you guys." said Zoey, rubbing her nose, "Just as long as everybody's alright." When Zoey took her hand off of her hurt nose, the rest of the Heroes turned to her and gasped. Zoey looked confused. "What?" She didn't realize that her nose was swollen and bright red, but she did feel a tiny drop of blood fall to the ground. She didn't think much of it, though.

(Confessional: Owen)

"I like Zoey. I know she struggled to get me out of that pit and all, but she still seems really nice! The others on my team are pretty cool, too! Man, I love this show!"

(End confessional)

Lightning saw what had happened to the Heroes and shouted, "No big thing for the Lightning!" However, as he took a step forward, a board sprung up and launched him, sending him screaming into his team's platform's crab pit.

"Oh yeah, and watch out for the booby traps I hid around this place!" Chris explained

"Sha-CRAAAAAAP!" Lightning screamed as a cluster of crabs launched themselves up at him.

Gwen winced at this. "Uh, is anyone gonna help him?" she asked. Her entire team looked at one another and started laughing uncontrollably. Gwen just glared in disapproval.

Lightning then pulled himself out of the crab pit and shouted, "Not funny!"

(Confessional: Anne Maria)

"Heh heh! And the funniest part is, that bozo got to the finale last time! If only I didn't think that, uh, 'diamond' was real… Ah well, that was then and this is now, and now, I'm gonna win!"

(End confessional)

"Um, hey Chris?" Beth asked. "Shouldn't we get shovels too?"

"Sorry Beth, but shovels are for the winners only. You're just gonna have to use your hands!" said Chris.

"Oh, okay…" Beth sighed.

"Aw, so the challenge will just be more difficult for us." Cameron sulked, until he heard another voice.

"Worry not, Cameron!" Dawn, who was standing right beside the former Bubble Boy, put her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure that we can still succeed even without an advantage!"

"Heh heh, thanks for the moral support, Dawn!" said Cameron, who was slightly blushing.

Dawn blushed right back and gave him a jubilant smile. "Anytime! I'm sure with your intelligence, our team can have a higher chance of winning!"

(Confessional: Cameron)

"Well, I'm glad I can get to know Dawn a lot better since we're on the same team! I mean, her mystical abilities could be helpful in challenges, plus she's really sweet, (blushes) her hair is beautiful, her voice is adorable, and… (Eyes widen) Oh no… I think I LIKE her!"

(Confessional: Dawn)

"Cameron seems to be a nice person. Plus, he's quite intelligent, and very cute… (Eyes widen) Oh no… I think I LIKE him! Well, I did sense in his aura that he might like me as well, so that should make this a bit easier, but I want us to get to know each other a bit better in the meantime."

(End confessional)

"Alright, campers, let's get digging!" shouted Chris before blowing into his airhorn. The Villains knew that they had an upper hand since they were given actual shovels, but the Heroes were still determined to win.

"Alright, soldiers, we need to come up with a plan if we want to succeed!" Brick announced, turning to his team. "Do any of you have any ideas?"

Cameron looked at Dawn, and a lightbulb went off in his head. "I have an idea!" Cameron announced, raising his hand.

"Permission to speak granted!" said Brick, curious as to what Cameron's plan would be.

"So, I think Dawn should use her mystical abilities to read the sand for any possible statue pieces, and then Mike can transform into Manitoba Smith and dig them up!" Cameron explained.

"Do you think that'll work?" Zoey asked.

"I would have to agree," Dawn added. "Even I still don't know the full scope of my abilities…"

"Ok, but you should probably try to see if you can do it." assured Owen. "It's like how I always use the bathroom before going to a movie!" The rest of the Heroes gave him a weird look.

"Um, very well..." said Dawn, as she placed her hand above some sand.

"Go, Dawn!" Cameron and Zoey cheered.

"Anything happening?" Mike asked.

"Shhh! Don't distract her!" said Zoey.

"My bad." said Mike. However, Mike, who was getting a bit impatient, gasped and turned into his grumpy old man alter-ego, Chester.

"Meh, darn kids these days bein' way to slow at everythin'!" Chester complained. "In my day, we'd be done with whatever it is that we'd be doin' by supper!" Zoey looked at Mike/Chester with a confused expression.

(Confessional: Zoey)

"Chester can be a bit… Difficult… But I can manage it! He kinda reminds me of my own grandpa back home! Except that one's a lot more vocal about his political beliefs..."

(End confessional)

Dawn eventually stood up and told her teammates, "There is in fact a statue below where I'm standing!"

"Finally!" whined Chester.

Cameron pulled out a fedora and placed it onto Mike's head, causing him to gasp and transform into Manitoba Smith.

"G'day, cover!" greeted Manitoba.

Cameron walked over to Dawn's location and said, "Manitoba, can you start digging right over here?"

"Right away, guvnor!" proclaimed Manitoba. He then started swinging his arms in a circle, getting faster and faster until he leapt at the ground, drilling right through the sand. He excavated the piece of his team's statue from the sand and placed it on the ground next to his teammates.

"Impressive, I must say." complimented Dawn.

"Ah, don't mention it, Sheila!" said Manitoba. Zoey looked at her love interest and smiled dreamily.

"I'll get it to the platform!" Owen announced.

Owen then rushed over to his team's platform before accidentally stepping on a booby trap (In this case, a spring platform), causing him to fly into the air and fall into the crab pit again while the statue landed on the platform.

"OW OW OW! WHY HAS THIS ALREADY HAPPENED TO ME AGAIN?" Owen screamed.

"Heh heh, never gets old!" said a nearby Chris.

(Confessional: Owen)

"If I had a nickel for every time I fell into a pit of angry crabs during this challenge, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice."

(End confessional)

Meanwhile, the Villains continued digging until noticing the other team's progress.

"Oh, would you look at that, the heroes are already ahead of us." Duncan growled.

"Well, we might as well figure out a strategy aside from aimlessly digging." said Justin. Being the womanizer he was in seasons 1 and 2, he leaned towards Jo and asked her "How about you give us your input? You seem like you're just full of good ideas!"

Jo ignored his attempts to charm her and just answered, "Well, I dunno, maybe we should try digging a bit faster?"

"My goodness, what an idea! Why didn't I think of that?" said Duncan sarcastically.

"Just get to work…" Jo groaned.

Soon enough, Lightning hit a piece of the Villains' monument and shouted, "I got something!", digging up a piece of the Villains' statue in the process. He then rushed over to his team's platform and threw the puzzle piece onto it.

Meanwhile, Jo decided to walk over to Gwen so she could give her some advice and also try and stir up some trouble.

"What's up, Gwen?" Jo said nonchalantly.

"What do you want?" snarled Gwen.

"Oh, it's just… that Courtney. She's been a real pain in the butt for you lately, hasn't she?" said Jo.

"Well, yeah." said Gwen. "I mean, you'd probably know since you told me off for kissing Duncan in the last challenge, but- "

"Well, I've thought about it." Jo cut Gwen off, "And yeah, what you did was pretty dirty, but if you let Courtney stay and bully you even longer, you'll probably be a target for elimination AND Courtney could become an even bigger threat later on! I mean, did you SEE her performance in season 2? Sheesh..."

"Oh yeah, I saw it from home, and she sure was something…" said Gwen.

"So, here's an idea: Next time Courtney gets all up in your business, just be assertive. Tell her that you're tired of her crap and maybe do something embarrassing to her while you're at it, then she'll probably get out of your hair!" Jo explained.

"Huh, I never thought of that… Thanks, Jo!" said Gwen.

"Yeah, whatever." said Jo. "Just don't tell her I gave you this idea. She might take it the wrong way…"

Meanwhile, Duncan, who was still digging, hit something hard in the sand.

"I think I got a piece!" he announced.

"Well don't just stand there, boy! Dig it up!" barked Anne Maria.

"Need some help digging?" Gwen asked.

"Alright, why not?" said Duncan.

(Confessional: Duncan)

"Is Gwen trying to flirt with me? Nah, she broke up with me this morning, so is there some other ulterior motive behind this? Eh, I'm probably just overthinking things."

(End confessional)

Courtney instantly noticed Gwen interacting with Duncan and became furious. "There she goes," she sneered, "Thinking she can just take my boyfriend and show it off to me."

"Yes, it is unfortunate when love turns to poison…" said Alejandro.

"Okay, so she stole your boy toy, boo-hoo, are you gonna do anythin' about it?" asked Anne Maria, annoyed at Courtney's whining.

"Actually, yes! Observe…" said Courtney, shoving Anne Maria as she walked over to where her nemesis was standing.

"I don't like where this is going," said Anne Maria.

"Well, I do! This'll be interesting..." Heather remarked.

At the spot where Duncan and Gwen were digging, they finally unearthed another piece of their statue and handed it to Justin, who in turn ran over to the Villains' platform to hand it to Lightning.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the boyfriend kisser in the flesh!" Courtney mocked.

Gwen rolled her eyes and sighed. "Courtney, that was forever ago, just let it go."

"Time doesn't excuse you from taking Duncan from me!" Courtney hissed.

"Look, Courtney," said Gwen, "What I did was stupid, and I didn't know you and Duncan were still together at the time, so that's my bad on my part. But can you please stop being a jerk to me for something we could've easily talked about?"

"I get it, you would've just rubbed it in my face that you kissed Duncan! None of what you'll try and do in a desperate attempt for forgiveness will work!" Courtney disparaged.

"I'm not ASKING for you to forgive me!" cried Gwen. "I'm just asking that you move on from this!"

"Move on? MOVE ON FROM BEING CHEATED ON?!" screamed Courtney.

"Ugh, this is clearly going nowhere…" Gwen moaned.

"Wrong. It's going in a direction of pain!" shouted Courtney, who then proceeded to shove Gwen.

"Oh, so that's how you wanna play it?" fumed Gwen, who shoved Courtney back in return.

"Oooh, I like where this is going!" said Heather.

"Of course, ya do… Drama Queen," Anne Maria exuded, raising an eyebrow.

"D-did you just… PUSH ME?" snapped Courtney.

"Hey, at least now we're even." Gwen remarked.

"Yeah, but YOU'RE gonna be in EVEN more pain!" Courtney, thundered, as she shoved Gwen to the ground. However, upon falling, Gwen landed on her left hand, injuring it in the process.

"OWWWWWWW!" screamed Gwen. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!"

Chris and Chef, who were both nearby, heard Gwen shrieking in pain. "What was that?" Chef asked.

A single tear rolled from Gwen's eye. She gave a big shout as she sprung right back up, claymore kicking Courtney in the stomach. "Aaah!" Courtney stumbled back as she yelped in pain. She started growling, and then told Gwen, "Oh, you've really done it now, Pasteface!" In return, Gwen shouted, "YOU'RE CRAZY!"

"I dunno," said Chris, "But I'm gonna go over there and check it out."

Chris headed towards the digging area to see that Courtney and Gwen were still aggressively fighting each other, with the other Villains watching but not intervening so as to not face Courtney's wrath.

"Ok, what's going on here?" asked Chris.

"I'll tell you what's happening! This (censored) is beating me up just for doing the challenge!" cried Gwen.

"She did it with the boyfriend she stole from me!" whined Courtney.

"I thought Gwen and I broke up though…" stated Duncan.

"And now I think I hurt my wrist because of her!" said Gwen, showing her arm to Chris.

Chris examined her hand, with a few "Hmmm"s and "Uh-huh"s every now and again.

"Yep, looks like you messed your hand up pretty good!" Chris determined.

"Me? THIS WAS COURTNEY'S DOING!" shouted Gwen.

"I don't care who started it!" snapped Chris. "Gwen, Chef will take you over to the medical tent to get your wrist checked out."

"Ah, well hopefully it isn't TOO serious." said Gwen.

Before she left, however, she turned to her nemesis and said "And Courtney…"

"What?" asked Courtney.

"Have fun being eliminated tonight!" Gwen mocked.

"Wait, but we haven't lost yet!" said Heather. "At least I don't think we've lost…"

"Actually..." said Gwen, pointing at Owen, Brick, Tyler, and Zoey carrying their remaining statue pieces to their team's platform. Brick pulled himself up onto it and his teammates handed their pieces to him, allowing him to fully complete the team's statue.

"AND THE HEROIC HAMSTERS WIN!" Chris announced. The Hamsters cheered, and the Vultures groaned.

Meanwhile, Zoey walked up to Chris. The host jumped back in surprise from her puffed-up nose.

"What? What's everybody looking at? Is something wrong?" Zoey's voice sounded stuffy when she said this. Chris held up a mirror to her, and she went, "Huh?" before putting her hand over her mouth. The swelling in her nose became even worse than it was before. A little bit of blood was even trailing down her lip. "Oh, man!" she cried, "Nobody told me it was this bad!"

As Zoey wiped the blood from her nose, Duncan took notice of her injury. He couldn't help himself and instantly bursted out laughing. "Oh, ho ho ho! Did Christmas come early this year, Rudolph?" Not amused by Duncan's remarks, Zoey clenched her teeth as she slapped him hard on the back of his head. She then angrily walked away, with Duncan muttering, "Okay, okay, sorry, geez."

"Yeah…" said Chris, "so I guess I'll have to send you to the medical tent as well for that scarlet sniffer. CHEF!"

"Thank you…" Zoey uttered in response.

He then continued, "Anyways, Villainous Vultures, I'll be seeing you tonight for one of you to be sent packing!"

"Gee, I wonder who that'll be…" Duncan remarked, with him, Anne Maria, Justin, and Jo all staring at Courtney.

"Oh boy..." said Courtney.

Meanwhile, in the medical tent, Gwen sat on one of the cots while holding an ice bag on her hand. Zoey sat on another cot with some bandages around her nose, although she still bled through them.

Eventually, Zoey decided to try and converse with Gwen. "Is your hand feeling any better?" she asked.

"Eh, not really." Gwen responded.

"Sorry to hear that…" Zoey sympathized.

Outside the medical tent, Courtney walked towards the tent contemplating if she should go in or not. "Should I do this?" she asked herself. "I mean, I hurt Gwen really badly and I doubt she'll want to forgive me, plus even if we do make up, I'll still probably be eliminated for snapping at her!" She paused and took a few deep breaths before eventually coming to a conclusion. "Ok, I can do this."

Courtney walked into the medical tent and said "Hey guys." Gwen looked up at Courtney and scowled at the sight of her.

"Go away." Gwen growled.

"Gwen, I just want to"- Courtney tried saying before she was cut off by Gwen.

"I SAID GO AWAY!"

"Gwen, stop! We should listen to what she has to say!" said Zoey.

"Are you kidding me? After what she did to me during the challenge? No thank you!" cried Gwen.

"I'm here to make things right!" Courtney announced. Both Zoey and Gwen looked up towards Courtney, who seemed to be getting teary-eyed.

"Huh?" asked Gwen.

"Gwen…" Courtney explained, "You were right. I'm not gonna say what you did was right, as it was absolutely wrong, but I should've listened to what you had to say and tried working things out with you instead of jumping to conclusions and being such a jerk to you."

"Ok, thanks for realizing your mistakes, but are you trying to get at something here?" Gwen asked again.

"I think we should talk to each other about how we felt ever since that whole 'Love Triangle' fiasco and maybe try and find some common ground in this whole situation." Courtney proposed.

"Hmmm…" said Gwen.

"You don't have to do this if you don't want to, Gwen, it's just an idea I had." said Courtney.

"No, no, I think we should do this." Gwen decided. "I came back to this show wanting to make amends with you, and I'm not gonna pass up on a chance to do so."

"Great!" Zoey proclaimed. "I'll mediate your discussion to make sure nothing goes wrong if that's ok with you two."

"Ok." said Gwen.

"Sure." said Courtney.

"Now, Courtney, I'd like you to start by telling Gwen how you feel." Zoey explained. "Without getting aggressive."

"Ok then." Courtney sat down on another nearby cot and began to tell her side of the story. "So, I guess after Gwen kissed Duncan, my emotions really got the best of me. I was frustrated, angry, confused, and above all else, sad." This last part confused Gwen. "I'd say I was sad because I felt like Gwen and I were able to find a genuine connection with each other during season 3, especially in the London challenge while we were messing with Heather."

"Heh heh, I remember that!" Gwen mentioned.

"But after Gwen kissed Duncan, everything just fell apart. I didn't let her explain what happened or even apologize because I was angry, and I felt like she deserved retribution for a simple misunderstanding, and now here we are, where I bruised Gwen's wrist because I was so stubborn that I couldn't even let her apologize." After Courtney finished, she began to cry into her hands, but tried to pull herself together in order to keep going. "And also," she went on, "I think that my aggression towards Gwen was also a result of my anger issues."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Gwen asked, confused yet surprised.

"Well, ever since I was a kid, I've been prone to being really easy to anger." Courtney explained. "I've been prone to getting mad at some of my classmates just for saying something I didn't like, and it's gotten me into trouble a couple times in the process."

"Wow… I never knew that." said Gwen.

"Well, after some time, my parents took me to a therapist, and we found out that I have some... Problems. I don't wanna go too in-depth on them, and he said it wasn't as bad as some similar cases he'd seen, but yeah. I mean, I never wanted to use my problems as a crutch to act like a jerk, but I do think they contribute to what I do in some way."

"I never knew how much you struggled, Courtney. I'm so sorry." Gwen told Courtney.

"No…" Courtney responded, beginning to cry again, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I've ever done to you, and I'm sorry for not being able to tell you what's been happening to me that hardly anyone knows about."

"Thanks, Courtney." Gwen consoled, pulling Courtney in for a hug. "I forgive you."

"Well, thanks for sharing your side of the story, Courtney." said Zoey. "But now it's Gwen's turn. Gwen, explain how you feel to Courtney."

"Oh, ok then." Gwen stated. "So, as you realized, what happened was mostly a misunderstanding. I thought you and Duncan had broken up by then, since Duncan was getting all flirty with me, and while I should've gotten confirmation from you on if you and Duncan were still together or not, Duncan was the one who was flirting with me, so I guess there was some confusion on that end."

"Mhm." said Courtney.

"So, I guess I should also apologize to you, Courtney," Gwen continued, "Since I got together with Duncan behind your back and while you and him were still a thing, and I should've paid more attention to whether you two were dating or not before doing anything like what I did."

"Thank you, Gwen." Courtney told her. "I forgive you."

"So… Does this mean we're cool?" Gwen asked.

Courtney paused for a moment before responding, "Sure. We're cool.", and the two girls shook each other's hands.

"Great work, you two!" Zoey proclaimed. "I'm glad you were able to sort out your differences in a healthy and mature way!"

"Yeah, but I'm still sure Courtney'll be eliminated for what happened earlier today." Gwen mentioned.

"Honestly, I'm fine with being eliminated." said Courtney. "It sucks that I have to go, especially so early on, but I was able to fulfill the one goal you had, and I think it'll be best for you and the others on our team if I left."

"Ok, I understand." Gwen replied. "And thanks for being able to work things out with me."

"Anytime, Gwen. Anytime." said Courtney.

That night, it was the Villainous Vultures' turn to have one of their team members eliminated. The Heroic Hamsters were also there, but they sat in the peanut gallery anticipating who would be eliminated.

"Wow, these seats are really comfy!" said Lindsay.

"Thanks! Those came directly from our merchandise sales!" Chef mentioned.

"Merchandise?" asked Beth, confused.

"Turns out, demand for Total Drama toys went up after Zoey's introduction, for some reason." Chris said. Everybody turned to Zoey, who just awkwardly smiled and made a "finger-guns" gesture.

"Before the Vultures go and vote, we have two things to do first." Chris explained. "First and foremost, who among the Heroic Hamsters will be exiled to Boney Island for the night?"

Beth raised her hand and exclaimed, "I will!"

Lindsay was shocked. "What?"

"I didn't do too much in the challenge today, so I guess this is my way of making it up to you guys." said Beth.

"Hey, it's okay, Beth!" assured Zoey. She had already arrived back from the medical tent. Her voice was still stuffy, but her nose was now wrapped in a hefty amount of gauze (which she still bled through). "I'm sure there'll be plenty for you to do in the next challenge!" She rubbed her bandaging. "Ugh, I feel like I belong in Silence of the Lambs looking like this."

This made Beth feel a bit better. "Thanks, Zoey. And you even made a reference that we actually get this time! Good for you!" The Indie Chick just formed a look of disgruntlement and raised an eyebrow at this comment.

"Besides," Beth continued, "I've been there before, so I might have an easier time finding the invincibility statue there!"

"Sounds good to us!" said Brick.

"Just try not to bring back any cursed stuff this time, okay?" Lindsay stated.

"Will do, Lindsay!" Beth affirmed. She then followed Chef to the dock, where the latter would take her to Boney Island.

"So, what else are you gonna tell us?" asked Scott.

"Gwen has returned!" Chris answered.

Gwen, as if on cue, walked out of the bushes (Still holding an ice bag over her wrist) and sat down in the empty seat next to Courtney. She then explained to everyone, "They said my hand isn't that bad, so I should be ok to compete even if it still hurts." Courtney looked down in guilt and remorse, knowing full well that Gwen's hypothetical blood was on her hands.

Later that night, the Vultures were all at the elimination area, and all of them had gotten a marshmallow except for Gwen and Courtney. "Honestly, should I be surprised?" Chris asked them. "You two got into a huge fight after the challenge, so of course you'd end up in this situation!"

"Actually, I'm kinda hoping I get eliminated this time." Courtney pointed out. Her entire team, and the Heroic Hamsters in the peanut gallery, looked at her with confusion.

"Well, be careful what you wish for, Courtney! Because Gwen is safe!" Chris announced.

"Oh, okay, then." Gwen said, with the marshmallow thrown at her simply bouncing off her right arm and landing on the ground.

"Oh well." Courtney sighed.

"Courtney, the tribe has spoken!" said Chris.

"Well, honestly, why try to delay the inevitable at this point? I mean, I kinda deserve what's coming my way, especially for how I've treated Gwen…"

"Courtney," said Gwen, "We sorted out our differences! We said we're cool now!"

"Yeah, I'd say the same," Courtney continued, "But I don't think that's gonna be enough yet, Gwen." She let out a heavy sigh. "Duncan was my whole world. When you took him from me, it felt like I lost everything, it hurt even more because I really enjoyed working together in London." The CIT said as she hung her head low in shame at what she had done.

"Courtney… I'm sorry I didn't try to stop him."

"No, don't blame him, Duncan is nothing but a wannabe who thought it would be cool to cheat on me."

"Hey, don't act like you're innocent here. Do you think it's fun being treated like a slave?" Duncan interjected.

Courtney sighed, her imperfect behavior had finally caught up to her. "Look, Duncan, I realize what I did was wrong, okay? Everything I did to you, from leaving you to deal with that gator, all to me dragging you and Gwen around in Egypt." she said at last, almost tearing up.

"Courtney, look, I know you used to have a rough spot in your life, but guess what? So did I!" Gwen said. "A long time ago, I would just push everyone away because I felt nobody understood me, but I was wrong. Leshawna, Bridgette, DJ, Owen, Cody, and Trent are all proof of that! They're all very different from me, but I was able to change for them. So, Courtney, I want you to change for the better as well." The goth smiled, as Courtney gave her a smile back.

"Thanks, Gwen. I was wrong about you… you're actually not a horrible person after all." she then gave the pale skinned girl a hug, which she embraced, too, Duncan just backed away awkwardly.

"Anyhow… Courtney! Ready to go?" asked Chris.

Courtney took a break and answered, "Yeah. But first, I need to tell Gwen one last thing."

"Yes, Courtney?" asked Gwen. Courtney simply waved her arm and said. "Gwen, I hope you can get far in this game. Still sorry about your hand, though." She rubbed the back of her head. Gwen held her bruised hand. "Best of wishes to you."

"Anything else you'd like to say?" asked Chris.

"Well, I hope I have a safe landing..." said Courtney in a surprisingly calm tone.

"Alrighty then! Liftoff!" said Chris, as he released Courtney from the elastic part of the slingshot.

Courtney screamed as she flew into the horizon. Gwen let out a sigh as she watched her former rival disappear into the horizon, now knowing that they could be friends again.

"Well, it seems someone's pretty happy about this!" narrated Chris as he pointed over to a cocky looking Duncan. "And now we've lost both a hero and a villain, whose obsession for another person got in the way of them winning. Ha, what are the chances? Who will join them next? Will Cameron try to interact with Dawn more? And can Beth return from Boney Island without cursing her team? Find out all of this and more next time on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"

NOTES FROM AUTHOR: Second episode complete! This was a bit easier to write than before, especially since Mal is not introduced here and the big bad will be someone else. Some of you might be catching on as to who it might be, but I'll give it a little more time before I confirm who it is.

Anyways, my reason for eliminating Courtney is simple: She got ANNOYING. Especially after the love triangle started in World Tour. As such, I originally wanted Courtney to stay for slightly longer, but that would've just started to drag, so I decided the best way to do her for this season is eliminating her very early on. I also originally posted this where Courtney sprains Gwen's wrist and is still angry with her once she gets out, but I felt like that was a bit too biased and that she deserved a better conclusion with Gwen, so we rewrote the ending to how it is now. Yeah, this season's elimination table will be based on my opinions on the contestants at hand. The more I dislike them or find them unnecessary or lacking in interest/potential for a compelling arc, the lower they'll be ranked. This is why Sierra and Courtney were the first two contestants eliminated, Sierra for always being obnoxious and Courtney for slowly but surely becoming obnoxious. That explanation was a bit longer than it needed to be, but I hope that clears some aspects about this up.

Oh, and by the way, regarding the "problems" Courtney says she has, those would be in the form of Bipolar Disorder and OCD. I guess I just decided not to say it directly for the sake of subtlety.

Thanks again for reading, a huge thanks to my Reddit pal u/DrewBisc for co-writing this with me, and stay tuned for the next episode!
