From Akane Shadow with another female spirit controlling her body in the Metaverse Jail of hers 'done by Konoe and EMMA's doing' to trap the Phantom Thieves but Futaba/Oracle to make her escape to save the others somehow. For Akane Shadow in the Kyoto Village Jail to trap Akechi/Black Crow to be crystallize and trap by his brainwash sister in a deep sleep to have Keiko/Joker worry about her fiance. With her trap with Morgana/Mona, Ryuji/Skull, Ann/Panther, Yusuke/Fox, Makoto/Queen, Haru/Noir, and Sophia/Sophie couldn't do anything now. Someone can back in the real world, thanks to Sae's help to get Zen out of jail and finds Futaba on what just happen for them to try to save them somehow without powers. With her hacking skills and his police detective instincts will have to do the trick – in the Metaverse Jail they go on a rescue mission and help Akane's Shadow too. Somehow, this spirit for Akane to be brainwash and used for the powers from a human's help to have the fifth medallion to get, but rescuing comes first and then finding out what to do next 'other than Zen learned about who the Guyver twins were from Futaba'. In the cage for Ryuji was grabbing hold other cage bars with no way to break it down for him; while Sophia sit down to stay put, same with Makoto, the weak Keiko to try to calm down for Akechi's safety the most, as Yusuke, Ann, Haru, and Morgana hope Futaba escaped alive.
Ryuji: Dammit...Argh, shit won't budge!

Morgana: Hey! Give it a rest, Skull. You're just wasting your energy.
Ryuji: Yeah, but still!
Morgana: Hello? We have Joker to be worried about Black Crow's safety the most, remember

I think with her Persona powers of Arsene has been healing Keiko little at a time, more in the Metaverse to work faster.
Keiko: It's sore, but I can still fight. Thanks for cheering me up. I would do anything for those I care about and when it comes to true love. Not just me, but for all of us.

Summoning out lots of Sentry Shadows to listen to Akane Shadow's next orders to give out.

Crap! What's going to happen next? With Picaro and Kaguya's hands full, this was really bad? Well, for Loki to look up on something to stop some leftovers alone to find something. Elsewhere in the Jail, Zen was climbing on a building roof to get down, or tries to while Futaba was on top.
Futaba: Get down there before they see you.
Zen: Get down she says...!
Losing grip, he drops down on his feet. Ouch. But he'll live. Looking around this Jail, he was ready to find his daughter and the others.

Hiding in time before two Sentries were looking around with flashlights all over, a close call there for Zen to do the rest and Futaba to back him up 'as she gives out the thumbs up'.

Time to get started from the Shadows' to turn around to check, Zen hides to then go to the other side little at a time. He can do this and Futaba follow him from above him, carefully without getting spotted once.
[Futaba: You'd better hide if you see something coming-you're a goner if you get caught!]
Zen: I know, I know. That's why I need your backup, Sakura-Uh, Oracle.
Talk about this sneak stealth mission Zen was doing, for even I can't do it so well in the game itself. Just saying...One wrong move, then gun shots will take him down for good, only an old pot falls to get destroyed in tiny pieces. More sneaky around to do. Almost getting caught, but didn't to keep on running carefully.
[Futaba: Yeah, not bad at all! You're growing thief by the minute!]

Finally getting to the top, he sees the Phantom Thieves, the trap Akechi, and Akane Shadow in one spot.
[Futaba: There they are! In that cell!]
Zen: Great, let's spring 'em. Just a second, kids...
With the two making the next move to get there before Akane Shadow and the spirit friend do something to all of them.
Akane Shadow: Now choose. Who wants their heart changed first?
Futaba arriving for the others, and Zen stepping in to talk to his daughter's shadow.
Zen: Don't do it, Akane!
The others were shock to see Zen arriving on his own.
Ryuji: Whoa! GRAMPS?!
Keiko: Zenny's here!
Ann: He escaped the police after all!
As well as seeing something was a bit off.
Zen: Akane's a woman! Wow, her Shadow turned into this with some ghost and those clothes...? Goro! In a crystal necklace. Hey! Can you hear me?! It's your master and I'm here to save you and the others!
He sees that he has to do something and fast.
Akane Shadow: Leave Big Brother alone! And what are you doing here...?
Keiko: Zenny! Back Crow got caught by this ghost thing who turned Akane's Shadow into a woman with these powers! And I sense this thing also has a medallion.
The fifth one at that too for Keiko to sense it.
Zen: Now she tells me...!
Keiko: But he's alive. She knows of the heart of her brother, but she doesn't know who we really are to be over protected to save Black Crow for me!
Zen: Oh, I'm glad to hear it. (Good, then he's hanging in there...Like what Amamiya has and Goro, I can sense a lot more now. This is weird, but for some reason a good for me.)

For Zen to be happy to hear of Akechi's strong will, he was still shock on what Akane's Shadow has become.

Zen: Just stop this. None of them did anything wrong. And let Goro go too. If you're willing, we can talk this out.
Akane Shadow: Talk it out? With you? Ahahahaha! I know, right friend? And he calls himself a father to me!
The spirit toys with Akane to trust in her more than Zen or the real Phantom Thieves.
Keiko: That thing's toying with her mind!
Akane Shadow: Trust in you, daddy? Please! You can just go to hell! No matter how many times I told you what happened, you didn't do a thing! So don't try acting like a father to me!
Zen: Akane...Please listen to me. Just this once. You're right. I couldn't catch the person who took your mother's life. I understand why you'd want nothing to do with a father who kept his head down and took it. But if you don't snap out of it, they're gonna get you too! Now wake up!
Wow, I think he's changed a lot thanks to the Phantom Thieves without going into his Palace to get this far.
Akane Shadow: You say you couldn't catch him? It's more like you didn't want to catch him. At least Big Brother's doing something about it to save his life and help me catch him instead of you! That monster who killed Mom...You two knew it was Owada!
Shock to hear for Zen, Akane, and Akechi to learn about this. For Aoi was killed in a hit and run done by Owada's doing who was drunk and with his girlfriend at a the time, they said they are together still. Wow, he's bad news and a murderer too!
Morgana: Owada?!
Keiko: I knew Akechi told me about him but I never knew he would...! My god.
Yusuke: As in Owada the legislator, one of the masterminds we seek?!
It had to be him for Akane Shadow says the rest on what she remembered on that day. Also Owada's girlfriend will be important to for later, so please keep that in mind.
Akane Shadow: It happened right in front of me! Owada with his girlfriend ran Mom over without a hint of regret! I told you, the police, Big Brother who's still helping me out like he promise, and everyone I could think of! But even then, he or the woman weren't arrested!
Zen: ...
Akane Shadow: Why is that? Why does he get to take an innocent life? Look what happened to Big Brother's mother! Aren't the police supposed to do what's right?!

This was it, why he kept this from Akane for a while but Akechi to keep on working for them both.

With this and sensing Akechi, Zen takes some deep breaths to tell him 'trapped inside a crystal statue' and Akane Shadow to hear the real truth and the reasons why...
Zen: ….After your mom died, I was taken off the case. They reasoned that a family member couldn't judge impartially. Soon after, that secretary ended his own life...leaving behind a note saying he was the one responsible. No one else spoke up to contradict that. To the police, it seemed like solid proof. Eventually, they concluded the secretary was at fault and left it at that. To them, the case was as good as closed. Akane, when you told m what really happened, I knew that note was fake. So without skipping a beat, I opened up my own investigation. I needed Akechi's help after what he told me about what Shido did to him and his mother; from my training helped him get smarter to do something together for you. But no matter what I found as proof, it'd get wiped one way or another before I could bring it to light. The both of us to do so, without giving up.
Akane Shadow: I knew Big Brother was helping me, he has a heart unlike yours. So you gave up, right? You sense of justice unlike your own step-son sure didn't get you very far...
Zen: Akane...I made a promise to Aoi...That I'd protect you...No matter what the case. And for Akechi to love, give him a home, and carry out the job for me.
A true fact for Akechi to sense it too in his trap state, and Akane Shadow to feel shock about this too.
Akane Shadow: What...?
Zen: At that point, you two were my only reason to live. I didn't want to lose more family or see Goro suffer anymore than he already has. So I promised Aoi I'd never let anything happen to you...even if it killed me. Why else did I train Goro to become like me? Why else did I ask him to back me up? It's all for him and for you!

And what happens next...? Akane Shadow and her Spirit Ghost 'I will call her that for now' laugh for this was nothing.
Akane Shadow: *snicker* Ahahahahahaha! So stupid, am I right Friend.

Wow, her Shadow was really under the Spirit's spell.
Akane Shadow: See?! You hear that just now?! He's nothing but a scheming manipulator! On Big Brother, on your idiots, and on the other cops! As long as he gets his way, he'll hang you all out to dry! I save Big Brother from the likes of you, you're not even his real father!
Ann: How could you say that...?
Ryuji: Did you not get that he's been tryin' to keep you safe?! The reason why both you and Akechi are doing all this?!
Even with this Shadow, it was harsh to say such awful things to her own father, her real one.
Akane Shadow: Oh, I know what he was trying to do. But to do it, he sacrificed his values as an officer. It couldn't been Big Brother's life!
Zen: Akane...
Akane Shadow: Is it was only us, I'd get it. We're family. Mom would think so, too and Big Brother to have a good mother like Mom was and me as his little sister. But what about the secretary who died? Did you ever stop to think what his family's going through?!

Oh right, he did take his life on a false thing of him killing Aoi Hasegawa. My god...
Akane Shadow: Not only did they lose a loved one, they have Mom's death hanging over their heads! Did you forget that?! Because Big Brother didn't! Or did you choose to forget on purpose?!

Just then a voice was heard for Keiko to feel it out first.

Soon to hear another unknown one inside of Zen's head. Which means it was his Persona awaken as a Persona-User? No way!
Mysterious Voice: Anyone but a man of justice.
Going in complete darkness all over Zen to hear a voice and sense it out, it was starting...
Zen: Who's there?!
Couldn't see this being, Zen knew he was out there somewhere.
Mysterious Voice: Are you sure weren't at fault?
Zen: Who's talking to me?!
Mysterious Voice: You knew what it would cost to give up the chase. Yet you fled from the truth. Convinced yourself it was right and just, with your daughter's name hollow upon your lips. And your step-son not giving up even in his state he's in right now. You are as guilty as those you hate-a foul villain, rotten to the core!
Zen: That's...No, I...!
Mysterious Voice: You trained away the justice you'd built. You bought your comfort, bribed your guilt. Hehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAH!
Soon to pass out to be a lot for this guy to take in.
Sophia: Zenkichi?
Morgana: Zenkichi, what happened?! Snap out of it!
What this Persona was all true to teach Zen a lesson to feel out.
Zen: He's right...it's all true. I let Aoi's murderer run free, and used the Phantom Thieves solely for my benefit. I'm just as rotten as those criminals...I don't have the right to lecture Akane...I never did to begin with, I can see why Goro was mad at me for hiding it at first.
But that doesn't he shouldn't give up at all.
Keiko: Don't lost sight of yourself, Zenny! Stand up and fight for Akane, your wife, and Goro. You need to save Akane, her real Shadow from this spirit thing! Those two need a real father!
Zen: Fight...?
The others agree with their leader too for Keiko's luck charm feels out Akechi to be alive and well to hang in there. Wow, what a tough guy.
Futaba: That's right, Zenkichi! Wake up! Maybe you did stuff emotions away, but it was for your family's sake and trying to give Akechi a good home. You did it protect Akane, the daughter you love! My mom was the same! She worked as hard as she could every day, doing what she believed was right! So stop blaming yourself! If you want to blame someone, blame those monster that hurt your family!
Tayla: In the memory of Wakaba Isshiki...
Ryuji: Yeah, don't lose sight of your target!
Yusuke: You devotion to your daughter is what matters. Torturing yourself over that would be a waste! Now look deep within your heart and find your way forward!

Zen: Guys...
Sophia: Be strong, Zenkichi.
Haru: Please, get back up! This is something only you can do!
Makoto: The real enemies are still out there. Bring them down for Akane-Chan and Akechi-san's sake!
From there, Zen gets it now.
Zen: ...You're right. The real threat is still out there...Those who ruin lives and tear families apart without a second thought. How stupid have I been? My own daughter tells me how to do my job, and then these kids start lecturing me like Goro...I may not be a hero, and I sure as hell don't deserve any awards...But at least I know what makes a person evil. Evil only cares about itself. It's the mark of a man who would bring another to run and dare now show remorse. I will never let people like that go free. And I'll give everything I have to bring them down!
Getting back up and standing his ground, Zen was more open minded now. With that, his Persona was ready to awaken his Persona-User. Here comes the pain and then blood on the mask to remove thing.
?: Do you finally see the truth? When you know of the true face of the guilty? Make the redden for good to slavery. Pretend to see you in agony. Just as you once did...But what happens now must be done right. Now show those villains that you're wearing a different chain. I am thou, and thou art I. If you yet seek true justice, we will see it done.
Seeing his shadow self to hitting the ground with his fist and then getting back up, Zen was ready.
Zen: Fine...Seal the contract1
His mask appears on his face to do the rest of the work.
Akane Shadow: Ah!
He removes it to call upon his Persona's name to use boost up and the name of earth elements.

Persona #58 - Valjean = powers of the earth
Valjean
Jean Valjean is the main protagonist of Victor Hugo's 1862 novel Les Misérables. Valjean's story depicts his struggles to live a good life in God's name following a prison sentence for stealing bread for his destitute family. His efforts lead to him taking several aliases, and focuses on his care for the dying Fantine and then her daughter Cosette.
Both in the original novel and its adaptations, Valjean is shown in a mostly-positive light, often displaying compassion and selflessness while being capable of cunning and jealousy. His humanity puts him in stark contrast with Inspector Javert, who represents the law but acts as one of the story's main antagonists.
From a flash of light to break the chains appeared Zen's Persona and in his new look too. With Akane Shadow surprise to see this...

He needs to stop them to get to Akechi in the crystal state who needs rescuing first.

Time to fight it from Shadows and Sentries to use from his long gun shot, his long sword, and his earth powers to fight them all off. With Valjean's help too, those guys were amazing in battle 'leaving Female Spirit to shield Akane Shadow from any danger'.
Ryuji: Yeah, get 'em, Gramps! Mess their shit up!
Keiko: Save Black Crow!
Haru: He's amazing...He's moving like someone half his age!
Zen: How 'bout you cut the wisecracks and let me do my thing? I sure don't feel half my age! Although raising a bit 'o hell all decked out like this is pretty sweet, I gotta say! Ground Shatter!
Using his new attack and Futaba to back Zen up, he takes all t he Sentries and Shadows down. Nice! Akane Shadow losing Akechi crystallize imprisonment from the shaking earth only for Loki to take it away and Raiho to take out the leftovers.
Akane Shadow: No! Big Brother! Hey, you are like him but evil! Give him back to me!
Loki: Not happening! Come catch me first, you brat. (My magic should keep them busy on me, leaving the snowman to protect the kid for me.)
He gives chase to use his powers to have the Shadows lose sight of this Persona.
Akane Shadow: Dammit...! Stop them! Kill him and save my brother!
Off they go...But Loki has a illusion to have Raiho take the trapped Akechi to safety. The only way to free him was to stop Akane Shadow with the Female Spirit's powers to ware off, and that's how it'll be done.
Keiko: Raiho! Loki! (Good thinking, boys. Using bait to have the real Akechi safe with someone else. See you two later. And Akechi, just in hang there for us and for me, okay? We'll see you soon and free Akane.)
Good thing Keiko felt that out to tell the others and Zen in a bit later. As for Akane Shadow, she wasn't so happy with this at all.
Akane Shadow: Grr!
Zen: Listen to me, Akane. (I think Loki and Raiho are guarding Goro's life, good. Hang in there, kid.) I'm telling you the truth. Those scumbags are feeding off your pain and that of other descent human beings. They drain the lives of those around them like parasites, all for their own better convenience. Will they do well for Zen/Wolf to try his best in battle? For Keiko hangs in there as Futaba did great today too. For those three, Morgana, Sophia, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, and Haru will save her and then dong the rest of the mission next with the fifth medallion to get too. While Mistress watches from afar...Both Kaguya and Picaro both bump into two other familiar faces by luck in Akane's Jail...
