"Monster Punter" Total Drama: All-Stars Improved episode 6

(Narration from Chris) "Last time on Total Drama: All-Stars! The Heroic Hamsters seemed to be getting quite used to the lavish lifestyle of winning, but Cameron soon learned about Dawn having a hand in Scott's elimination! Surprisingly enough, he didn't seem to mind, but the rest of their team still doesn't know… Yet! At challenge time, the campers had to eat a tower of mammoth pancakes, maneuver the obstacle course from season 4, and face the dreaded 'Grape Crusher'. Some did well (a clip of Mike/Svetlana succeeding plays), while others… (a clip of Tyler doing poorly plays) kinda… didn't. However, the Vultures were finally able to secure a win when Owen broke my expensive equipment, making me disqualify his sorry little butt!"

(Owen is near Chris, so he butts in and says something) "At least I'm still an intern!"

(Chris) "Owen? Why are you here? Didn't I tell you to mow the outside of the spa hotel with your hands?"

(Owen) "Oh yeah… I got about halfway done with that before I fell asleep from exhaustion!"

(Chris) "Ugh, just get back to work, inter-"

(Owen cuts Chris off) "Find out if something cool will happen right here on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"

(Chris is now really annoyed) "I wish we could've gotten you off this stupid island sooner…"

After the intro, the episode starts with a shot of Lake Wawanakwa at dusk. The camera then starts panning in, going past several scenes of foliage among the shoreline, before stopping at the water. Tiny ripples started to form in the lake, but they kept gradually getting bigger and bigger until they began creeping slowly towards the land.

Eventually, a strange, shadowy figure emerged from underwater, making its way onto shore. The camera then cuts to seem as if it was seeing through the figures point of view. It pans left and right, scoping the whole scene of the island, before immediately cutting back to the silhouette. It pans up to what appeared to be its head. Suddenly, a pair of glowing, white eyes opened. They looked to be glaring in vengeance. The figure didn't make a sound, it just quietly slunk into the woods, where it could no longer be seen.

After some time, the sun began to rise. The Heroic Hamsters were just waking up in the losers' cabins and starting their day. However, they all feel rather depressed due to Owen's disqualification the previous day.

"Man, I really miss Owen, he was awesome!" Tyler sighed as he stretched his legs.

"Me too," agreed Zoey, she was sitting on the bed alongside Mike, Cameron, and Dawn. "He was honestly one of my favorites from the original cast. Plus, he's such a nice guy!"

"Yes, I miss him just as much as you all do, and it's sad he's unable to help us anymore." Brick commented, he was in the middle of doing his morning push-ups. "But we can't let this loss deter us from doing our best!"

"I guess you're right…" Zoey responded.

"And as a reminder," Dawn chimed in, "He's still on the island, albeit working for Chris."

"I just hope he's doing alright, as given some statistics that I've run, interns working for Chris have a 78.07% chance of getting seriously injured!" Cameron pointed out, holding up a calculator that showed his findings. "I mean, look at what happened to Dakota!"

"Yikes, those are some pretty high stakes!" said Mike. "But even if Owen isn't here, I'm sure our team can still do great!"

Brick got up and went over to Mike, putting his hand on Mike's shoulder. "That's the spirit, kid!"

Meanwhile, in the spa hotel, the Villainous Vultures ate breakfast at the buffet while discussing the game.

"Well, it's great that we actually won this time!" Gwen told her teammates.

"True, only on a technicality." Alejandro pointed out.

"Exactly. If we wanna keep our status here, we gotta get some actual victories under our hypothetical belt." Jo explained. "Who's with me?"

"I dunno why you two's so worked up about this." said Anne Maria. "I mean, a win's a win!"

"Again, we only won because Owen screwed up the challenge for his team!" Jo chimed back in.

"Exactly. We won. Now how 'bout we just enjoy this food we got here and try not to lose the next challenge, ya with me?"

Jo rolled her eyes and continued eating breakfast, but soon an idea popped into her head.

(Confessional: Jo)

"Yeah, victory feels nice. But y'know what else feels nice? Victory over teammates who can hurt you later in the game! It's why I got Courtney and Scott sacked pretty early on, and I'll utilize this strategy for some of my other, more threatening teammates, but it's gonna take some workshopping. I mean, Justin and I are in an alliance, Gwen, Duncan, and Anne Maria don't seem too threatening, and I don't want to get rid of Heather and Alejandro quite yet, since that'll just make my strategy look a bit too obvious. The only other candidate I have left for targeting is, heh, Rudolph the white-haired moron. This should be good…"

(End confessional)

On Boney Island, one of the Vultures, Heather, was searching for an invincibility statue since she exiled herself there for that reason. However, while digging around in the bushes for this reward, she began to think about things that had happened back on the set of the show.

"Do I still like Alejandro?" she asked herself. "Even after all the stuff we went through in season 3? Is he still worth going after?" She continued to forage through the woods trying to find the invincibility statue, but before she could get it, Chef returned to get her.

"HEATHER! GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!" Chef announced using a microphone.

"Oh, come on! I seriously thought I was closing in on it for a second!" Heather whined. She soon accepted defeat, however, and headed over to Chef's boat to return to Camp Wawanakwa.

Once Heather and Chef returned, both teams had already been called outside so Chris could explain the challenge. Heather rejoined her teammates, but was also approached by someone she didn't expect.

"Ah, good morning, Heather!" Justin greeted, extending his hand towards the Queen Bee.

"Um, hi?" said Heather. She was thrown off by Justin's sudden politeness, but shook his hand anyway.

"I must say, it is a beautiful day out today! Much like you as a person!" Justin told her with a wink.

"Uhh, are you trying to flirt with me or something?" Heather asked.

"I must agree, why are you doing this? What's your problem, señor?" Alejandro questioned, infuriated that Justin was trying to hook up with the girl he thought he had a special connection with.

"Hey, she's not with you at the moment, so it shouldn't be like what happened between Courtney and Duncan!" Justin reasoned.

"Don't remind me…" Duncan growled.

"Well, Justin, thanks for the… Compliments…" Heather explained, "But I, uh, don't wanna be… A thing with you at the moment, capiche?"

"Ah, so you do still love me! I knew it!" cried Alejandro.

"Wha- No! I, uh… I just… need some more time to figure that out…" Heather gaffed.

"Oh, um… alright. Well, when you do figure out your feelings, please let me know!" said Alejandro. Justin rolled his eyes and walked towards Jo.

"Man, I am really in the mood to pull a Scott and just throw the challenge and blame Alejandro for it. He's so pretentious!" Justin complained, crossing his arms.

"Ugh, tell me about it! Plus, if he stays in the game for too long, he could become somewhat of a threat." Jo explained. "I mean, did you see him in World Tour?"

"Uh-huh, I watched that season back home," said Justin. "It's why I've grown such disdain for him, since he's basically able to do what I did in a much more cowardly way and to way better results than what I got!"

"Oh yeah, I see where you're coming from, but if we eliminate him next, that'll just make our plan look obvious." Jo reminded him. "We gotta try and lay low if we want to get far, yeah?"

"I suppose, but who'll we go for this time?"

Jo curled her arm around Justin and pointed to Lightning, who was busy kissing his muscles. "I say Jockstrap. He and I've had some beef last season, and seeing as how he was able to get to the finale last season despite how dumb he is, I have a feeling that he's a lot more formidable than he may seem."

"I hear you. So, how'll we get him out?"

Jo paused for a second, before she carried on. "Oookay, I haven't figured THAT part out yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something soon enough."

"Sounds good to me. See you out there!" Justin proclaimed as they shook hands. However, Alejandro overheard their conversation and became increasingly suspicious of both Justin and also Jo.

(Confessional: Alejandro)

"So, it looks like my so-called (Makes air quotes) 'rival' is in some sort of alliance with Jo, and they might be targeting me later on. I don't want to be too obvious about what they're doing, of course, but I'm sure I can figure something out regarding how to deter them from what they could do."

(End confessional)

Soon after Heather returned to her team, Chris arrived with an intern bringing in a TV that would go over the challenge.

"Mornin', final 16! Ready for today's challenge?" Chris asked, only to receive no response.

"Meh, it was rhetorical, anyway." He went on. "Now then, today's challenge is gonna be a play on the deer hunting challenge from season 1, only this time we're making it monster themed because it's fall right now, and the Hamsters will be the monsters while the Vultures will be the hunters! The hunters will use water guns like the one Chef had in the hide and seek challenge where everyone had to avoid him. While the monsters can tag a Hunter and score a point, whoever catches the most from the other team wins, and the challenge will run from noon today until noon tomorrow. You know, kinda like season 1's Awake-A-Thon!"

"Wow, that's a LOT of callbacks to the first season," Zoey pointed out enthusiastically, before giggling. "Of course, that's probably what I've been watching since the show started, so I really remember the old times. Still, this could be fun!" She smiled, locking her hands together.

"Thanks! But no one cares!" Chris mocked. Zoey crossed her arms and looked to the ground in disappointment. "Anyways, do any of you have any questions?"

Cameron raised his hand. "Yes, what will our costumes be?"

"You'll see!" Chris answered. "I'll give you your gear before we get started!"

"Didn't we already have a challenge that referenced the deer hunting one?" Gwen asked.

"Maybe… But this is my show, yeah? With my challenges. So if they're not your cup of tea, you can eliminate yourself!" Chris answered. Not amused by this, Gwen just lowered her eyelids.

"Hold up, shouldn't my team be getting an advantage since we won last time?" Anne Maria asked.

"Uh, right, the Vultures can start at 11:50, which is in about 5 minutes." Chris answered. "In the meantime, both teams can come up and put on their appropriate attire! And you can't take it off under any circumstance until the challenge ends or else your team instantly loses!"

"Yikes…" muttered Beth.

Soon after, the Vultures put on the hunting clothes and orange safety glasses while the Hamsters put on a variety of different monster themed costumes from challenges past, Cameron had a disappointed look as he pulled out his costume. "A spider… Hardy-har, Chris." He struggled to put it on, as it was really big.

Mike noticed Zoey dressed as a witch, which she managed to make look somewhat decent.

(Confessional: Mike)

"I never expected I'd be saying something like this, but… Zoey can still look adorable even when dressed like she's gonna get me and my little dog! And I don't even have a dog!"

(End confessional)

"Why do I look like one of the robots from Doctor Who?" Mike asked, pulling his outfit from a box. "This is kind of ridiculous!"

"You mean a Dalek?" Beth chimed in, "And speak for yourself! I'm dressed as an elf!" she whined as she went to grab her hat.

"Hey, at least you don't contrast with your boyfriend! On the bright side, these bunny ears are so cute!" Lindsay bubbled. Everyone else on the Heroes team (Except for Cameron, as he was still struggling with his spider outfit) turned their heads to her, and flinched back in a bit of shock, as the peppy blond had finished putting on a rather suggestive rabbit costume. "Well, how do I look?" Lindsay said obliviously.

(Confessional: Beth)

"Yeesh, that guy really is a creep…" (Shakes her head)

(Confessional: Zoey)

"I mean, really, how Chris still hasn't gone to jail is way beyond me… Oh, right, he did, but that was only for the toxic waste. All of his other crimes went completely unnoticed for reasons I don't even know." (Shrugs)

(End confessional)

After both teams changed into their gear, Chris told the Vultures, "Alright, I see you've all changed, so Vultures, you may get your head start since it's now 11:50!"

The Vultures ran out into the woods, but Anne Maria, while spraying her hair, spoke to her teammates, "Heyo! We got a plan or what?"

"We could split up to cover more ground." Jo responded. "But Justin's working with me!"

"Okay, try not to screw this up, y'all!" said Anne Maria.

While the rest of the Vultures left, Alejandro stared at Jo and Justin. He said to himself, "No… Paciencia, Alejandro." before also leaving.

Meanwhile, while the Hamsters waited to be able to go, Brick decided to tell his teammates about something.

"Alright, everyone!" he started. "If we don't want to lose, we need to come up with some sort of strategy. You know, since we just kinda winged it last time!"

"Maybe we can split up to cover more ground and make it harder to be caught? Just like what we did last time?" Mike suggested.

"I suppose that can work." Brick responded. "I think we should have the same groups as last time, too."

The rest of the Hamsters seemed to be on board with this, until one of them spoke up. "Wait!" Beth cried out.

"Huh?" said Brick.

"I'm totally fine with being with you and all, but I kinda wanted to work with Lindsay and Tyler again since I wanted to get to know Tyler a bit more!" the Wannabe explained.

"Hmm, well, I don't want to leave anyone behind, so if you wanna do that, be my guest! I guess that leaves me with Dawn and Cameron" the Military Cadet declared.

Dawn was shocked by Brick's decision. "What? But I thought you were against me after what happened last season!"

"I was, thievery is very uncouth." Brick stated, "But I eventually found out you were falsely accused, so I've moved past it."

"That sounds great!" Dawn beamed. "I've also been trying to move past that turmoil that happened between Scott and I… I'm not sure I'm doing a good job though, as something always seems to happen that reminds me of what he did!" She lowered her eyelids in spite.

"It's okay," said Cameron, putting his hand on Dawn's shoulder. "You're trying, and that's all that matters."

"Thank you, Cameron…" said Dawn. "Okay, Brick can work with us. I can tell from his aura that he's willing to move on from that event anyway."

"Sounds good to me!" Brick proclaimed. Chris then blasted his airhorn and shouted, "Alright, time to scatter!"

"Good luck, Heroic Hamsters!" Brick told his teammates. He briefly saluted them, and the rest of the Hamsters saluted back before they then disbanded to hide in the forest.

While Mike and Zoey ran aimlessly throughout the large forest, the former thought of something he could ask the latter.

"Hey, uh, Zoey?" Mike prompted.

"What's up?" Zoey asked.

"So, you remember that whole, erm, 'Commando Zoey' thing you had going on after I was eliminated last season?"

"Uh, yeah, why?"

"Well, I was wondering if you could try to tap into that side of you and lay some traps for the other team!"

"That sounds like a good idea! But you'll probably need to hide while I set everything up!"

Mike nodded in agreement, happy that his love interest was able to agree with him on his idea. "We should probably find somewhere to get started!" he said.

Mike and Zoey soon came to a stop near a tree and some bushes. Zoey put her hand on Mike's shoulder, and explained to him, "Have Manitoba dig a hole, and I'll cover it with some leaves. Always works in the movies!" She gave a wink.

"Sounds like a plan to us!" Mike proclaimed. He pulled out a fedora and put it on his head, transforming into his Aussie alter and digging a hole that was about 5 feet long, wide, and deep in a matter of three seconds. Once Mike/Manitoba was done, Zoey put some sticks and leaves over the hole to make it blend in with the rest of the area, and the two hid behind some bushes once everything was all set.

"Great work, Zoey!" said Mike.

"You too!" Zoey beamed. She heard some rustling nearby and said, "Shhh, I think someone's coming!"

And they were right, as Lightning jogged through the forest looking for people on the other team.

"I'll lure him in!" Mike said quietly.

"Be careful!" Zoey responded.

Mike popped out from behind the bushes, prompting Lightning to notice him. "Sha-score!" he proclaimed, running towards Mike while pumping his water gun. Mike ran behind the bushes, and Lightning, not looking where he was going, fell right into the hole Mike and Zoey dug.

"AAAAAH!!!" Lightning screamed, hitting the bottom of the hole with a loud thud. "SHA-OWWW! WHO DID THIS?"

Mike and Zoey laughed to themselves and ran off, with Zoey saying, "That was awesome!"

"HELLO?" Lightning shouted from inside the hole. "ANYONE GONNA HELP THE LIGHTNING?"

Jo and Justin soon walked by, seeing the predicament Lightning was in, which gave Jo an idea.

(Confessional: Jo)

"Seems like someone's trying to stall us! Maybe I could tell Jockstrap something that would make him slow down so he can have a reason to be voted off! Yeah, that'll show him for what he did to me last season!"

(End confessional)

Jo had explained to Lightning something about the potential traps being set up by Mike and Zoey, but ever-so-slightly skewing the truth. Lightning asked, "So, what you're telling the Lightning is that if I see a rope, or a pile of leaves, or somethin' like that, someone from the other team is hiding near it?"

"Yep! These Hamsters are cowards, I tell ya." Jo lied.

"Guess I'll try and find some more of 'em! Sha-bam!" Lightning enthused.

As Lightning ran off, Justin asked Jo, "Are you trying to manipulate him or something?"

"What else would I be doing? Now we know who we'll be getting rid of tonight!" Jo answered confidently.

"Yeah… but, like, shouldn't we try to win against the other team more often?"

"We should, but if we wanna get far in this game, we gotta pick off some of the competition that can bite us in the butt later on, and this is one of those times."

Justin nodded his head, saying, "I see… Well, as long as it works."

"It should, Justin. It should."

The scene zoomed over to Mike and Zoey overhearing this behind a large bush. They then started murmuring amongst themselves.

"Man, I never thought Jo would stoop that low." Zoey said in an ashamed tone.

"I know, right? Kinda reminds me of Scott." Mike said, gritting his teeth.

"Seriously. Maybe we just need to get out of here before anything can happen."

"Yeah, we probably should. I've got a bad feeling about this…" Mike raised his eyebrows. "Star Wars, anyone?"

They both paused for a moment, before snickering at this. "Oh, of course! Every single one of them." Zoey remarked. "Alright, time to move out!" The two then dashed out into the woods.

"Hey, did you hear something?" Jo asked, as the camera panned to Justin squinting at his hands, checking for any nail problems.

"Jeez, you and Tan-In-a-Can should hook up! You're practically identical!"

"Wow, thanks a lot, mom!" Justin whined before he and Jo carried on.

The scene then flashes to a treetop, where an owl with gleaming yellow eyes was hooting. The camera then slowly panned down to the old boat house, where Tyler, Lindsay and Beth were wandering around.

"Tyler, do you think anyone's in there?" Lindsay said.

"Yeah, yeah! It looks like the perfect hiding place. Besides, I don't think anyone's gone in there since season 1." he said as he slowly crept into the shack.

"I'm surprised you remember that." Beth interjected.

"Well, it's kinda where everything began and all the good things came into my life, so it's hard not to." Tyler snuggled his head next to Lindsay's, Beth rolled her eyes and muttered.

"I'm always just the third wheel." She pouted, and Lindsay gave her a confused stare.

"What do you mean by that, bestie?" She asked.

"Okay, well… I dunno, I just feel like I'm always just a tagalong, especially now! I kinda wanted to get to know Tyler better, because I don't really know him that well, and you guys are just wrapped up in your romance."

"If it's because of that, Beth, I thought you already had a boyfriend." Tyler mentioned.

"Oh yeah… well, the thing is… Brady was a hoax." Tyler and Lindsay just looked on at her in concern, Lindsay's hand on his chest.

Beth continued, "Well, kind of. He was a good friend of mine back in middle school. He actually had issues talking to girls, so I promised I'd give him tips if he pretended to be my boyfriend." She let out a big sigh. "It's just, I didn't wanna be left out, because now you're taken, and I'm just… alone. Probably because I'm not as pretty!" She just sat down criss-crossed on the rotted wooden floor, with a soured look. Lindsay felt something inside of herself.

"Beth?" she said. No response. She then put Beth's hands in her own. The troubled girl looked up at her. Lindsay smiled. "Beth! It's gonna be okay! You're still a really nice girl! I'm sure you'll find someone eventually!"

"Even if I'm ugly?" Beth asked.

"Oh, you are not ugly! Don't worry about it, Heather probably just told you that to make you feel bad about yourself!"

This gave Beth a much-needed confidence boost. "Oh, well, that makes sense. Thanks!"

The blonde made a cute face, before it faded. "Besides," Lindsay went on, "Even if I look pretty, I've always had trouble with guys too, because of my low thinking power..."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Tyler asked.

"Well, my parents told me it happened when I was a baby." Lindsay explained. The scene then cuts to a flashback. "We lived in a pretty big house back then, and it even had two stories! But one day, I don't exactly remember why since I was really little, but I fell down the stairs and dealt a serious blow to my head…" Cut back to present time. Beth and Tyler gasped.

"Oh man, that sounds terrible!" Tyler sympathized.

"Yeah, I'm sorry that happened!" said Beth.

"Thanks guys. But anyways," The flashback continued. "I was rushed to the hospital, and the doctor said I'd be okay, but my head injury did do some brain damage, so I would have a hard time in school and stuff. They said it's not the worst case of what happened to me, but they were right that it'd make school really hard. I even got bullied so much for how dumb I was!"

The scene once again flashed over to the present day. "Aw, Linds, you're not dumb!" said Tyler, pulling his partner in by the waist. "I mean, you solved the mystery of Chris' fake death and built a statue on your own in Paris! Sure, your brain's wired a bit differently, but you're for sure not dumb!"

"Oh, thanks, babe!" said Lindsay, giving her boyfriend a kiss on his cheek. "But after what happened, my family and I would always live in houses that only had one story."

"Oh, so that's why your house was so small when I came to visit!" Tyler realized.

After Lindsay's conversation, Beth decided to join in. "Hey, uh, I don't mean to butt in or anything, but, Tyler? Can I ask you about something?"

"Uh, sure, what's up?" the Jock responded.

"Yeah, well, I guess since we've been doing so well here, I was wondering if we could, uh, be friends or something? I don't really know if you see me as one..."

"Oh yeah, we can totally be friends!" Tyler proclaimed. "Besides, any friend of Lindsay's is a friend of mine!"

"Really? Thanks!" said Beth, hugging both her new friend and her best friend.

However, soon after, the trio heard footsteps outside at the dock. They all went alert.

"Who's that?" Lindsay asked.

"I don't know, but shhh! They might hear us!" whispered Beth.

They heard the doorknob rattle. "Already did!" a familiar voice announced. The three were mortified to see Heather slowly entering through the door. She put her hands on her hips.

"Oh, come on, not her…" Lindsay sighed.

"Oh, Beth, do you remember this challenge back in the first season? And how you turned your ugly little back on me like the traitor you are?"

"You were really mean, Heather! It was bound to happen at some point!" snapped Beth.

"Whatever, dorkwad! It's time for my revenge!" Heather shouted. However, during her monolog, Tyler snuck up behind her and kicked her water gun right out of her hands.

"Hey! What the heck, Sportaflop?" Heather whined.

Lindsay then ran up and grabbed the water gun, before she dashed out to the dock, opened the top of the gun, and aimed it at the water.

"I think the lake is thirsty!" Lindsay proclaimed.

"LINDSAY, I SWEAR-" Heather screamed.

Everyone stood still, blankly staring at each other, before Lindsay dumped the water from the water gun into the lake. "Oops!" she said.

"LINDSAAAAAAAYYYY! YOU STUPID LITTLE-" Before she could finish, Lindsay thought quickly and hurled the emptied water gun hard at her enemy's face. It spun around in the air before hitting Heather right in the side of her face. "Agh!!" She fell to her knees, and covered her right eye. She removed her hand from her face, revealing she had a black eye from the gun. The three Heroes heard her give a low growl.

"We should get out of here!" Beth worriedly told her best friend.

"Good idea!" said Lindsay.

"I'm with you, let's go!" Tyler agreed, as the trio rushed off of the dock and back into the forest.

"GET OVER HERE! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" Heather roared, chasing not too far after them.

While on the run from Heather, Lindsay came to a stop as she saw a rope laying next to a tree. "Wait, what's this?" she asked herself, crouching down to examine the object.

"Lindsay! Let's go!" Tyler worriedly told her.

However, Heather soon caught up to the three, but tripped over Lindsay and fell into the rope, which hoisted her up into the tree.

"UGHHH! WHO DID THIS?" Heather screamed.

"I did!" Zoey said as she climbed back down the tree with a sly grin.

"Huh?" said Heather.

"Hate to leave you hanging, but I gotta go now!" Zoey mocked, as she sprinted off laughing.

"The things I do for money…" Heather sighed.

"I can't believe I keep getting defeated by such… dweebs! Now even that redhead girl is one step ahead… this doesn't mean I haven't lost my edge though! I still have it!"

Once Zoey got back to where Mike was standing and took a puff from her inhaler, Mike told her, "I'm still surprised by how athletic you are!"

"Yeah, well, when you're an only child from a small town about a half-hour drive from Denver with hardly any friends, you gotta do some stuff to pass the time! I should probably also mention that I've played all the Uncharted games on my PlayStation and I've watched every Rambo movie 32 times. The original trilogy, of course. I'm not really into any of that new stuff."

"Oh, I hear ya." Mike said plainly.

"Yeah. Plus, I worked out quite a lot!" Zoey continued, "Still wish other things would work out for me, though…" she muttered, looking down at the inhaler in her hand.

Mike curled his arm around his Indie love interest. "Hey! You shouldn't have to worry about things! Remember what I told you a few days ago? You have nothing to be ashamed of, Zoey. You're amazing enough as you are!"

The light shone in her again. "Yeah, you're right! Now, let's find a place to hide for the night." Zoey told the Dissociative-Identity man.

"Got it!" Mike proclaimed, as the two left to find some shelter within the creeks, marshes and bayous of the summer camp.

Meanwhile, Anne Maria had slipped away from the challenge and went to go look for something to eat in the Cafeteria, however, Gwen insisted she didn't.

"Look, I know we're not really friends or anything, but I just want to warn you, going in there is gonna cost us." Gwen told her.

"Eh, cool your choker, Vanilla, I'm sure this place is empty." Anne Maria said as she opened the entrance.

"Look, last time we had a horror challenge in here, I was face to face with-"

"Yeah, yeah, a psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook. Not like I ain't heard about that before… you was all over the news, ya know." Anne Maria went on, rummaging through the cupboards.

"Wha- Really?" Gwen was a bit surprised. She never saw herself as someone who'd make it onto the news. Then again, she technically was a teen actress, so it was bound to happen.

"Yeah, everywhere I'd turn, people would talk on how you basically saved everyone from dying and stuff. Gotta admit, Gothface, you impressed me with that kind of notoriety." Anne Maria found some snacks in the fridge and went to the dining hall with them.

"Okay, well, I'm glad you respected me." Gwen said, feeling a bit less tense thanks to the compliment. Granted, Anne Maria wasn't someone Gwen would call a friend, but the feeling of being told she did something right after being berated a lot in the past made her feel quite a bit better.

"Hey, do you hear somethin'?" Anne Maria said, a faint rustling sound could be heard. Gwen eyed the room, looking for the source.

"Okay, I'm startin' to get freaked out." Anne Maria whimpered, as she began to shudder. Just then, a trash can tipped over, and a large, green alien looking creature arose from the pile of discarded items.

"Uuurrgh…" the creature moaned. It started to trudge towards Anne Maria and Gwen.

"Noo!!" Anne Maria screamed at the top of her lungs, as the menace kept inching closer, moaning deeply just like before, until it did something that neither of the girls would have expected.

"Prepare to lose!" it said, and it daintily tagged Anne Maria's arm. "Wait, what?" The Jersey girl was completely confused.

It turned out to actually be Brick in disguise as an alien. "Really had you going there, didn't I?" He said with a chuckle, before Anne Maria slapped him.

"Brick?! What was that for?" She snarled, huffing and seething in anger after getting a nasty spook.

"Gah! I'm sorry, ma'am, I was only trying to win!" Brick yelled as the Jersey girl chased him out. She tried spraying him with water, but very narrowly missed.

Brick managed to escape just in time. Dawn and Cameron were outside waiting for him. "Alright, I'm gonna go find Jo." Cameron yelled.

"And I'll take on Duncan." Dawn added, before leaning in next to Cameron. "Good luck, Cameron," she said to him before the two exchanged a brief hug.

"Wow. Nice going there, stud." Gwen grinned.

"Oh, thanks, Gwen!" Cameron said, unaware of Gwen's sarcasm. Even though he was smart, he was still a bit gullible.

The loner goth just rolled her eyes at the two lovebirds and walked out of the mess hall with a bowl of store-brand cereal so she wouldn't go hungry. The camera then panned to an unlit corner in the hall. A pair of glowing white eyes appeared in the darkness. What nobody knew was that there was an actual, familiar being lurking quietly around the island. It slunk across the shadows to the front door, where it slipped right out of sight.

We then pan off to revert our attention to Jo and Justin, who are still wandering through the woods. Justin looked up, the sky was fading to a nighttime blue, and the moon began to rise.

"Alright, Justin, I'm pretty sure someone heard us, and we need to get back at those nosy little- Gah!" Before she could finish, Jo fumbled over a wire.

"What? Oh… I see..." She realized as she brushed herself off. "There's only one person I know who has a history with these sorts of things." She said as she looked at Justin.

"Hey, don't look at me!" He said defensively.

"Move." She ordered bluntly, as the sound of a mechanism registered in Justin's mind, and he quickly ducked as a bag of large rocks swung right over him. "Woah!!"

The model thought he had it all figured out. "Holy crap! Scott's back on the island!" He yelled, as Jo stomped on his foot. "No, you dolt! Isn't it obvious? It's Zoey! I heard about her little Rambo act after we all took the boat home last season! Clearly, this girl is more powerful than we thought. We gotta do something about her. Lucky for you, the heel of the season, A.K.A. yours truly, has a plan for that."

"Well then, Miss Heel of the Season, what's the plan?" Justin said, frustrated as he wiped his shirt.

"I'll get to that, you-" Jo trailed off as she saw something, a small creature with luminescent eyes scurrying away not too far off in the distance.

"It's her! Follow me!" She said grabbing Justin by his collar and dragging him off into the night, this mystery person soon led them to a wooden bridge.

"Huh, that's weird. I don't remember this from my time on the island." Justin said.

Jo rolled her eyes. "Of course not, you only lasted five episodes here."

"Well yeah, but don't forget that bonus episode, the entire point was to go everywhere for that bogus million dollar case, but I never saw this bridge while doing that." he said as he took a close look at the ropes on the bridge.

"This stuff looks like it's been recycled." He figured. For once, Jo agreed with him, something looked off about this. "There is no way that Little Red Goody-Hoody would go over this bridge. Even if she wants to pretend she's Lara Croft, this looks way too suspicious for anyone to risk…"

She looked back to her crony. "Tell you what, Justin, we'll figure this out later. For now, we-" but before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by a tap on her shoulder.

Jo turned around. "What the-" the Jockette let out a short but voiceful squeak as she was now face-to-face with a giant mutant spider, looking her dead in the eyes.

Jo had to come back to her wits. "Hehe, lemme guess, this is just Izzy again, isn't it? Sorry, Canadian Psycho, I'm gonna have to take you down!" she began cracking her knuckles, but then the spider grabbed her, and hung her upside-down in the air. It let out a loud, ear-piercing hiss.

"Woah!! No, wait, please! I-I was… joking! Yeah, that's right! A joke! That's why they call me the Joker!" She said, before realizing what she was doing.

"Wait a sec, I'm not that cowardly!" She got herself together.

"I'd say you are!" the large arachnid responded, before dropping Jo onto the ground.

"Oomf!"

She was perplexed, until, just like the green alien from before, the spider revealed its greatest secret.

"String Bean!?" Jo shouted.

"The one and only!" It was Cameron. "How do you like it? See, when Chris gave me this costume, I had a real ball tweaking it to be, well. Let's just say it helps give people a fright." he said, as he tagged both of the schemers.

"Huh… Guess you really grew some stones after last time." Jo said, with legitimate respect for the scrawny boy. "Not too shabby!"

"Why, thank you, Jo! But it's getting a bit late, and I gotta go ensure that your team doesn't win again, see ya!" he said as he slipped back into his costume and crawled away.

"I think that little nerd just scarred me for life." Justin remarked.

"You would've shed your fake skin if you saw what I had to go through. Mutants are no joke!" Jo sneered.

And with that, Jo picked herself up off the ground, and her and Justin both agreed it was for the best they didn't question anything else about the bridge until later down the line.

The only Villains left in the game were Duncan, Alejandro, Gwen, and Lightning, who were all going solo. Duncan was following a similar strategy to his one from the first season, and followed his ex-girlfriend's advice, when it struck him… his ex-girlfriend.

"Where did it go wrong with me and Gwen?" He thought aloud, kicking away a medium-sized rock in the process. "We used to be tight! It's not like I was hitting on Courtney again. No, I learned my lesson, girls who try to change me aren't my thing… Gwen was actually cool though, she was awesome to hang with…"

Duncan was pacing back and forth all the while, until he spotted a large puddle on the ground. When went up to it, he found himself looking at not only his own reflection, but also saw the reflections of his two exes on each side of his. Duncan's eyes widened a bit. He kept staring for a few seconds, but then the images of Courtney and Gwen slowly dissolved in the pool of water. His expression turned to one of moderate sorrow.

He leaned against a tree towering above the puddle, and rested a hand on the side of his face. "Hmph, I guess I'm just too much for girls to handle." he said at last, with a smug, but almost forced smile on his face, which faded rather quickly, as he started sniffling a little. He tried his hardest to hold it back, but a couple of tears eventually began to seep down his face, and landed on each side of his watery reflection, where the visions of his former lovers once were. The guilt was starting to come full circle to him.

After his lamenting, Duncan looked up. Before he knew it, a giant flock of vampire bats swarmed right above him, making him duck down and shut his eyes in fear. After the bats were out of sight, he opened his eyes again. It was dark, nobody was around, but he thought he could see something at the end of the dock. He wiped the tears from his face, and squinted to better see what it was.

What Duncan thought he was seeing wasn't a big and burly figure like last time, but it looked ghastly, it was a pale figure, with patches over its body, almost like it had been violently beaten and battered. Just then, it started to slowly make its way towards the delinquent, almost as if it was floating. A shiver ran down Duncan's spine.

"Son of a- It's a ghost!" Duncan felt so unnerved he began to quiver. He equipped his water gun, but trembled, he couldn't turn away, no matter how much he wanted to. He felt an odd draw towards this mysterious specter.

He seemed to be frozen solid in place due to the horror of what he was witnessing. Sweat was streaming down his head. His legs were shaking violently. The blood vessels were crackling in his eyes. The boy felt like he could do nothing. Never in his short, rebellious life had he ever felt more fear brewing inside of him than this very moment, not even that Psycho Killer from the first season.

Duncan just veered on at this unnatural being. It slowly inched closer, and closer, until…

"Got you!" it proclaimed.

Duncan snapped right back to reality. "Huh?" he said as he was tagged.

"Yes, it's me!" Dawn said with a chuckle, the self proclaimed bad boy had been played by an aura reader. Duncan began to seethe with bright red anger, and even some embarrassment.

"Oh, you! I'm gonna-" He looked like he was about to leap at Dawn, but he was interrupted by the odd girl, who held a palm up. Duncan stopped right in his tracks. She put a thumb on his forehead, on a certain place where his third eye would be believed to have been. The girl struck a look of concern as she read the punk boy, and removed her thumb from his head.

Duncan took a couple steps back, seemingly offended. "What were you just doing?"

"There's no point in trying to hide your emotions, Duncan," Dawn spoke. "You have them just like everyone else, and you should embrace that."

"What, and be some lame 'friendship is my power' type of dork?" Duncan snarled.

"No. To be someone who can build real bonds and not just force a persona on those you only claim to be your friends."

This made Duncan snap at the pale girl. "What? Oh, no, no, no, no. No." He pointed his finger. "Don't you dare bring Geoff and DJ into this, they're my bros!"

"And yet, you didn't care when they got caught up with their own turmoil. Devon was on your own team and you never once bothered to check on him. Admit it, Duncan, you sold out your 'friends' for the money. You even admitted to everyone that you wanted Geoffrey out first!"

"Hey, that was different, he and Bridgette wouldn't stop licking each other's tongues!"

"Yes, Geoff may have been a bit too…" Dawn had to think of how she could describe Geoff and Bridgette that season, before continuing by saying, "Enamored in his romance with Bridgette, but you could at least admit that they had a stable relationship despite their disagreements, which I don't think the same can be said for you and Courtney…"

Duncan let out a large sigh before continuing. "Yeah, I did some stupid stuff, so I can get why she didn't wanna be with me, especially after what happened with me and Gwen, but it wasn't fun having to be treated like a slave every day just to be with her!"

"Agreed, Courtney was a bit harsh towards you, but then again, you were also quite rough on Harold back during the first two seasons." The scene flashed back to a brief compilation of Duncan bullying the aforementioned geek. Cut back to the present day.

"Actually, as a matter of fact, you both were!" Dawn mentioned, as yet another quick flashback occurred, this time of Courtney being rude to Harold.

When the scene went back to the present once again, Duncan recoiled upon hearing the name of the person he picked on, but then remembered something. "Yeah, true… but… Ugh. The reason I was a jerk to him? See, it goes back to around 6th grade."

The scene then cuts to another, much longer flashback. "I had issues with my family. Most of them were in the police force, but my dad wouldn't stop drinking and my mom wouldn't stop smoking. But on the bright side, I was one of the popular kids in school, so that was pretty nice. My parents did end up getting better, but as for myself, well, that was a different story… One day, this new kid came to school, I think his name was Nigel or something, but he was, like, a TEXTBOOK nerd. I wanted to try to be nice to him, but my friends didn't want me associating with the sort of kids with glasses and acne, so I started picking on people like him and Harold since I thought it'd be the only way to seem like I was worth other people's time." As this final flashback ended, Duncan wiped at his watering eyes and finished by saying, "I guess I was wrong."

Dawn could tell that Duncan had a difficult life, which would go on to make him become the jerk he was. However, she felt sympathy for him as he actually seemed remorseful of going down the path he was too far down. He had even begun to fully cry, which most of the other contestants would likely be shocked by, but Dawn knew it would happen eventually with how much he had been bottling up his emotions for so long.

"It's okay, Duncan. Tears are not a sign of weakness." said Dawn, putting her hand on his back.

This made Duncan feel a bit more assured. "Thanks, but you're not gonna tell anyone I was crying, are you?"

"Um, nope! My lips are sealed!" Dawn proclaimed. "But then again, this is reality TV, so someone's bound to find out about this eventually."

"Figures." Duncan scoffed. However, his annoyance wore off when he realized that Dawn actually seemed to understand him and what he had been through. "Hey, by the way," he said, "Thanks for your help, I guess, uh… What was your name again?"

"Dawn." the latter clarified. "Dawn Lightfoot." She extended her hand, and Duncan shook it.

"Huh, okay. Nice to meet you, Ms. Dawn Lightfoot," Duncan responded. Before too long, however, Dawn got up and said to Duncan, "Well, I suppose I should be on my way now. It was nice talking to you, Duncan!"

"Um, likewise, er, Dawn." the Delinquent replied.

The Moonchild then disappeared into the night, leaving Duncan all alone in the darkened woods. He crossed his arms and looked up at the night sky. The camera then cut to the stars and the glistening full moon above, the silhouetted back of Duncan in the bottom corner of the shot as he just gazed. The scene then cuts back to the Delinquent's face. He lowered his head down to the earth, and closed his eyes. The camera just zoomed slowly out away from him. Right now, only his thoughts were serving him any sort of company.

Meanwhile, Lightning finally caught up to Alejandro.

"Thank Gatorade that I found you, brother. Look, we're the only real dudes still in this thing, we gotta stick together if we wanna sha-score." He blurted out.

"Um, si! Why not, mi amigo?" Alejandro said, his eye twitching, Lightning was like almost every member of his previous team, except for Noah.

"Sure thing! Also, I didn't know you spoke French! Must really help score the honies!" He said while nudging the Spaniard.

"Um, yes, they all consider me incredibly attractive." he said in a fake tone.

(Confessional: Alejandro)

"So if what I overheard from Justin and Jo is correct, they seem to be targeting Lightning. So, perhaps, I could form a pact with them of some kind. I'll help them vote for Lightning, if they don't try anything on me. Oh, yes, this should be good!"

(End confessional)

He and Lightning continued to venture through the woods, searching for any member of the Heroes to spray.

"Man, I wish we had those little mini radios so we could split up." Lightning said.

"You mean walkie-talkies?" Alejandro groaned.

"Nah, that name sounds stupid, they can't even walk! My name's better!" The Jock replied. At last, Alejandro ran out of patience. He looked around the forested area, until he spotted a good diversion for his fellow Vulture.

"Oh, Lightning! I think I see something in that bush!" Alejandro said, pointing to some brambles.

"Sha-Thanks! Time to show those bozo's who's number one!" and Lightning dived right in, and promptly screamed when he hit the thorns. Alejandro gave a smug grin, before whistling and waltzing away.

"Hey, wait a minute! Where are ya going?" Lightning asked.

"I have to, uhh, use the restroom." Alejandro lied.

Lightning paused before saying, "Okie dokie!" and went back into the brambles.

(Confessional: Alejandro)

"No follow-up questions? No suspicion? Wow, this man really is quite moronic!"

(End confessional)

Alejandro took his time scavenging for anyone from the opposing team, but so far, there was nobody, until he noticed something, scratch marks. He examined them carefully.

"This is very peculiar. It seems as if there may be some creature lurking around, but it doesn't look like any bear, that's for sure." he said, running his palm along the defaced tree bark.

"I've got him!" Called a deep voice. Alejandro looked back and saw a zombified Tyler dashing towards him.

"My, Tyler, I love your new facial!" He mockingly called out. Alejandro just couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous Tyler's costume was.

"Hey, that's not very nice!" Lindsay said defensively.

"Right, like I would treat him with any respect. Tyler can't do anything correctly! He is nothing more than un completamente idiota!" Alejandro yelled.

"You're wrong! He's the nicest and sweetest guy I've ever met! All you have is… is… big man boobs! You're just mean, Jalapeño!" Lindsay declared.

"Um, Lindsay, those are called abs." Beth put in.

"Oh, yeah…"

"They are not abs," Alejandro barked, "And they for sure are not 'man boobs' either! They're pectorals." He put his fists to his hips, and flexed his pecs. "Well, no matter, I'm going to take you all down!" Alejandro finished before he had his water gun fall from his hands. "Hey!" he yelled.

"Nice try, ya wily dingo! But I'm not letting you take my mates without a fight!" Manitoba said.

"Yeah, you want them, you'll have to go through us!" Zoey continued, puffing from her inhaler and getting into a fighting stance. Alejandro looked to his left, then his right, then dead ahead, he was cornered, until he had an idea.

"But Zoey," he crooned, "You are so beautiful, why would you want to harm me-" Zoey appeared violated, and interrupted him with a slap in the face.

"You can sweet talk me all you want, El Toro Guapo, but I will never, ever cheat on Mike! Sorry I had to do that, by the way..." she said as Alejandro fell back. He raised his palms toward her.

"No, no, that was on me. I reverted back to Justin levels of manipulation, I can't believe I allowed myself to walk in the footsteps of that tonto!" He said palming himself, just then, everyone noticed something.

"Guys, I think it's nearly sunrise!" Lindsay shouted.

"Awesome!" Mike proclaimed.

Zoey suddenly had a realization. "Hold on, guys. Why do I feel like we're forgetting someone?"

Everybody else looked around and pondered, when Lightning emerged from the brambles in a lot of pain, and spoke up. "I think Brick was near the mess hall, and the only people there were Anne Maria and… Holy power bar! Gwen!" The rest of the competitors gasped.

"But she could be anywhere on the island right now," Cameron worried, "How are we-"

Suddenly, a familiar face came out of the blue. "I'm sorry, am I interrupting something?" Gwen said and saw Alejandro defeated. This gave her a bit of pleasure. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen." She quipped.

"Yes, it seems as though I have failed my team. Mock me all you want." He said defeatedly.

"Alright, to be honest, I kinda stopped caring after Anne Maria got tagged." She sighed. "I've said this a lot, but I only came here for Courtney's forgiveness. My mission was complete, and I doubt Chris is gonna make the million any more worth it. so, yeah, I just don't care anymore." she said, sitting down.

"Hey! Don't be like that! Sure, Chris is a total jerk, but I'm sure you'll find a purpose here!" Zoey said, in an attempt to cheer up the goth.

"Thanks. Zoey, is it?" The red-haired girl nodded 'yes'.

"By the way, this does mean you just won the challenge." Gwen said smiling.

"That's right! The Hamsters win!" Chris announced. Everyone on the Heroes team cheered in celebration. "Vultures, you know what must be done." He said gravely. The Villains all looked glum.

We then cut to the rest of the Heroes catching up after the events of last evening in the spa hotel dining room.

"And then, Jo complimented my ingenuity!" Camron proclaimed, filling a glass with tap water.

"Oh, yes! Cameron, you are such a noble soul, and I'm glad you are!" Dawn said sweetly.

"You said it!" Agreed Beth, who was eating a bowl of soup.

"Excellent work, soldiers! We really pulled through today!" Brick complimented, his voice muffled from him munching on a sandwich.

"We sure did!" Cameron exclaimed, sipping from his glass. His face then turned serious.

"Although, something interesting happened back there that I want to tell you guys about…" The rest of the Heroes all leaned in towards Cameron, and he continued. "When I found Jo and Justin, they were near a rope bridge. However, if I recall correctly, that wasn't ever previously located on this island. And it looked like they were going to plan on exploring it another time."

Zoey swallowed a bite of steak and replied, "Weird… that doesn't sound familiar, even to me."

"Maybe it's just a prop from an unused challenge." Mike chimed in. "What else would a poorly constructed bridge doing on this campsite-turned-Chernobyl?"

"Well, I say it's best we just forget about it for now, and focus on the game."

Brick reminded them. "We can do some exploring another time, because quite honestly, I need a nap." He got up from the table. The rest of the team agreed and decided to leave for a rest.

Jo and Justin were both lounging behind the confessional booth, discussing plans.

"Alright, so we both agree to nix Bright-ning?" Jo asked.

"Yeah, yeah, get rid of Lightning because he's way too powerful, I know." Justin responded, with little care for if anyone but himself was getting the boot.

"Good."

And with that, Jo walked away, ready to cause some commotion.

Later that night, both teams sat around the elimination area. The Villainous Vultures gathered around the campfire, with two empty seats that would soon become three, while the Heroic Hamsters were ready to watch from the peanut gallery.

"Well, you all know the drill by now!" Chris explained. "So, who's taking a little "cruise" over to Boney Island tonight?"

"I suppose I will volunteer!" Dawn announced while standing up from her seat and raising her hand.

"Wait, really?" Cameron asked worriedly.

"I have a very strong connection with nature, remember? I'm sure whatever wildlife is at Boney Island can help me find the Invincibility Idol!"

"Right… Well, be careful!" said Cameron.

"Of course I will!" said Dawn. She then gave Cameron a hug and left for Chef's boat to be driven to Boney Island. "Alright, Norbert, let's get this over with." she said. "Whatever, freaky girl." Chef grunted, as the boat drifted away.

"Anyways…" Chris continued, "We had to be very careful with the marshmallows this time, since someone's already eaten a good majority of them!"

"Can you blame me? I was hungry!" cried Owen, holding a camera near the peanut gallery, marshmallow creme all over his lips. He then noticed his former teammates and said, "Oh, hey guys! Good job winning today!"

"Thanks, Owen!" Zoey beamed. "By the way, how's being an intern?" She asked, with a tinge of worry in her voice, knowing what terrible things could happen to him.

"Oh, it's fine! The others are actually really nice, too! Eh, they don't talk much, though, but I think they like me!" He chuckled.

"Hey! All eyes on me!" Chris shouted as the camera shot back to him. "And, I can blame you, Owen! Because we need these marshmallows to symbolize who's safe and who's eliminated, dude! Remember?"

The host calmed himself down, and went on, "Anyways, the following Vultures are safe: Gwen, Anne Maria, Duncan, Heather, Justin, and Jo." As each safe member was announced, Chris tossed them a marshmallow.

"What? How am I in the bottom two?" Alejandro asked in a worried yet surprised tone.

"You resorted to stealing my tactics to save yourself!" Justin fumed.

"Man, you guys really are alike." Duncan snickered, before Alejandro punched him on the arm.

"Okay, okay, easy does it, people!" Chris yelled. "And now, the last Vulture safe tonight is…" He said, creating tension. However, Lightning looked absolutely confident.

Then… "Alejandro! Sorry, not sorry, Lightning! Time to pack your bags, dude!" The host finally said, tossing Alejandro his marshmallow.

Lightning was in shock. "Sha-no way! It's impossible! The Lightning can't lose! And the fifth person out?" He repeatedly stomped his foot on the ground like a child, but then remembered that everyone was watching, and regained his composure almost immediately after. "Ugh! Whatever, Lightning can do better than this crap!" He said in a huff.

"That's not really saying much," Chris snarked, whispering to the camera.

The albino-haired athlete then asked, "Yo, Chris, where's that slingshot thingy?"

"Oh, right, I was meaning to tell all you Vultures. So, since Owen obliterated it the other day, we haven't been able to repair it yet. So, today, we're gonna test the prototype of next season's elimination device. Everyone, say hello to… the Cannon of Shame!" Chris gestured to a large cannon with orange and white spiraled stripes. "We won it in a circus auction! It was killer, you had to be there." Everybody looked on with interest.

"But yeah," the host continued, "Congrats, Lightning! You're gonna be our test dummy! Don't worry, you'll get a helmet."

Lightning just huffed, and climbed into the cannon. Chef went over and shoved a helmet onto the Jock's head.

"Oh, yeah. Before I go, Jo!" He said, and pointed to the Jockette.

"What do you want?" She asked. Lightning proceeded to blow a raspberry, which Jo complimented by giving him the bird.

"Oh, that would have been better," He said, before being shot out into the night sky, screaming "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"Wow, what a Sha-Loser. But, who's gonna Sha-Succeed? And who will Sha-Suck It? Find out when you tune in next time, on Total! Drama! All Stars!"

NOTES FROM AUTHOR: Another episode done and released! This took quite a while, especially with my personal life getting in the way, so my co-author You_2_Cool actually came up with a lot of what happened, so a very special thanks to him!

As for Lightning's elimination, it's another case where I don't hate the character (I'd have Lightning around B tier actually), but I didn't see too much for them to do later on. However, unlike Owen, Lightning's elimination would also have plot relevance for Jo's arc as the story's main antagonist, mainly since she and him did have some problems near the end of her tenure on Revenge of the Island.

Also, I wanted to briefly touch upon the Lyler aspects of this episode since they did get a good amount of screentime. This was done because, well, I love Lyler, and I wanted to try and develop them a bit more since they were mostly a background couple. I even had Beth befriend Tyler since they're both close with Lindsay! Also, I probably should've clarified this earlier, but this story is gonna be character-focused, which is why I'm having episodes like this one, episode 2 with Courtney and Gwen, and episode 3 with Cameron and Dawn. Hope you understand.

Wow, those notes were quite long! Thanks again for reading, and stay tuned for episode 6!
