"Suckers Punched" Total Drama: All-Stars Improved Episode 7
(Narration from Chris) "Last time on Total Drama: All-Stars! Our remaining sixteen took part in a challenge with a buttload of callbacks to season one: the Hamsters had to hide in the woods to avoid being sprayed with water by the Vultures all while wearing super dorky Halloween costumes! But even if this may have sounded like quite a lot, we got to learn a bit more about some of our competitors' lives before the show, from Beth being insecure about herself, to Lindsay being dumb because of head trauma, to Duncan not really being the grumpy delinquent most of us see him as! In the end, it was Lightning who struck out after being messed around with by two people at once! That was quite a lot to handle for him, assuming he can count that high! So, what crazy revelations will happen among our campers this time? Find out right now on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"
After the intro, the episode starts with the camera panning over Boney Island. Deep inside of the dark, mysterious island, a short, blond-haired girl by the name of Dawn was asleep while sitting underneath a tree. After some time, she woke up and stirred for a moment before thinking to herself, "Beth was right, the ground isn't the best place to rest. Although I was still able to lucid dream fine, so I don't see this as too much of a loss..."
Dawn then got up from where she was sitting and began to explore the island before she eventually came across a raccoon scurrying through the bushes.
"Hm?" the Moonchild said to herself before seeing the raccoon. "Oh, why, hello, little one!" She greeted the furry mammal.
The raccoon chittered a few times, but Dawn was able to understand what it was trying to say. "Mhm, yes," she said, "I've been doing quite well, actually!" The creature started sounding more serious as it went on.
"What's that?" Dawn queried, before she gasped. "You know where the invincibility statue is?" The raccoon nodded.
"Please tell me its location!"
The raccoon chattered some more as it pointed a distance away. Just then, she heard the unmistakable sound of propellers whirring and soon felt harsh winds brush through the trees, as a decently sized red and yellow chopper hovered down with Chef looking disgruntled. "C'mon, creepy girl!" He shouted through his megaphone. "I gotta take you back! Chris's orders!"
Dawn sighed and patted the critter's head. "I guess it'll have to be another time, must I come back." She told it as she daintily ran towards the helicopter.
"Now that's a good girl. Alright, we gotta go." the large man said as the helicopter lifted high into the sky, and over the lake. She was debating with herself if she should talk to him, or keep her readings about him to herself. She put her hand under her chin, as he was quite the interesting person.
Meanwhile, back on the main island, the Heroic Hamsters team members were waking up and starting their day. A group consisting of Cameron, Mike, Zoey, Beth, and Lindsay were in the buffet eating breakfast. The camera zoomed out of the window to show their former teammate-turned temporary intern, Owen, walking by. He had just finished cleaning the yard with his teeth, and he actually didn't mind the taste of the grass, but what he did mind was his friends all having fun, while he couldn't meet up with them.
"Oh, I miss those guys, all those new ones seem so fun. Ugh, oh well." he sighed as he went to look for his next duty. However, after taking a few steps, he stopped in his tracks and looked back at the spa hotel. He kept looking around, until he tilted his head down hesitantly. He then smiled as he turned back and slowly slipped into the doorway.
"Uh, hey, everybody!" he said to his former teammates.
The heroes all turned to him in unison. "Owen!"
"How's your morning been?"
"We've been doing good!" Beth stated.
"Oh, that's great, you guys! Owen proclaimed. "I miss all of you!"
"Aww!" Zoey beamed. "We miss you too, Owen! Thanks for dropping by!"
Owen just grinned from ear to ear. The large teen then noticed that two of the (particularly athletic) Hamsters were absent. "Hey, where's Brick and Tyler?" he asked.
"They're outside working on Tyler's coordination!" Cameron explained.
"I hope he's doing alright…" wondered Lindsay.
The scene then flashed away to right outside the spa hotel, where the sun was shining bright in the morning sky. A shadowed hand then raised up a spherical object over the giant daybreaking star, giving off a gleam. The camera then panned down from the sun. It was Brick, who was holding a tennis ball in his hand while standing about three feet from Tyler.
"Alright, comrade," he said to the Jock, "Here's the drill. I'm gonna throw you this ball, and you're gonna try to catch it. Each time you're successful, I'll move back another foot and throw from there."
"Sounds easy enough!" Tyler enthused, pumping his legs.
"Are you ready?" Brick said as he prepared his toss.
"Totally!" Tyler balled his fists in preparation. "Let's do this!"
Brick threw the ball to Tyler, who jumped up to catch it and succeeded, but face planted on his way down.
Tyler lifted his face from the ground and held the tennis ball high. "Got it!"
"Um, yes…" Brick said disappointedly. "Maybe try and keep your balance next time?" he then suggested.
"Yeah, I'll try," Tyler explained, "but like I said before doing this, I have really bad ADD, so it might take a while for me to get this down."
"No need to worry, private! As they say, we all have to start somewhere!" Brick assured him. "Now, let's try one more time."
Tyler prepared to do what Brick suggested as the latter got ready to throw the ball, but before he could do so, Dawn arrived from out of nowhere, surprising the two in the process.
"Woah! Um, hi?" Tyler nervously greeted.
"Hello, Tyler. How is everybody on this marvelous morning?" Dawn asked.
"Uh, fine! What about you?"
"I've been doing well. I'm sure you'll be able to get better at your athletic coordination eventually."
"I just told him that!" Brick exclaimed.
"Well, best of luck to you, anyways!" said Dawn.
(Confessional: Brick)
"Ever since I got to know Dawn a bit more, she's actually not that bad! A bit, um… out of the ordinary, yes, but she's still pretty nice! Cam is one lucky guy..."
(End confessional)
After her interaction with Brick and Tyler, Dawn made her way into the spa hotel to meet up with the rest of her teammates. She walked into the buffet and said, "Hi everyone, I'm back!"
"Dawn!" shouted Cameron, who rushed up to his girlfriend and gave her a hug. "How've you been?"
"It's nice to see you again, Cameron! Also, I've been doing well!" Dawn beamed as she and Cameron released from their hug.
Zoey joined in on their conversation and said, "Well, it's still nice to have you back!"
"I agree." Dawn replied.
"Hopefully we can win again today!" Mike proclaimed.
The scene flashed outside the spa hotel, where the camera panned behind the building, to the thickened woods. There was a lone bush sitting away from several trees, when it rustled, and out popped two glowing, white eyes. They looked in each direction, until there was a sound of crunching leaves. The ominous pair of eyes widened as the noises kept getting closer. The noise turned out to be Heather, who was wandering through the woods to return to the losers' cabin.
"I still can't believe our cabin doesn't even have a bathroom!" she complained to herself. As she said this, the eyes in the bush quickly faded back into the shrubbery. Heather thought she heard a rustling sound, and turned around, only to find that nothing was moving in the forest. At first, she looked a bit spooked, but then shrugged it off seconds later as she continued back to the open fields.
While passing by the spa hotel, Heather caught a glimpse of the Heroic Hamsters interacting with each other. She (unknowingly) hid behind some brambles so as to not be noticed, but from what she saw, Lindsay was telling Beth about the latest fashion trends, Brick was explaining strategies to Tyler, and the newfound quartet were all sitting down, conversing and laughing together; with Mike eating an apple, Cameron drinking a bottle of water, and Zoey french braiding Dawn's hair in between the two boys.
Heather then began to remember her encounter with Beth during the fourth challenge, where the former told the latter off for how she acted and how the reason she barely had anyone to be with her was all because of her deception and bullying. She looked down at the ground and sighed, saying, "Maybe she was right…" She paused for a moment, before a sharp "Ow!" was heard, before Heather plucked a single bramble out from her butt. The girl grunted as she tossed the thorn aside, then got up and hurried back to the losers' cabin.
(Confessional: Heather)
"Alright, I'm not confirming that what Beth said was right. I'm just saying it's not, um, far out of the realm of plausibility. Yeah. That's right." (Rubs butt) "Ergh, stupid thorns…"
(End confessional)
Soon after Heather got up from hiding, Chris got on the intercom and announced, "Fifteen minutes to challenge time, everybody! You're gonna love what we've got in store today!"
Everybody then left their sleeping accommodations to see what Chris would be doing for the challenge today. Dawn appeared to be having a conversation with Cameron, Mike, and Zoey about her time on Boney Island and how she almost got the Invincibility Statue, which Jo overheard as she began to get visibly frustrated.
Justin, who was standing right next to her, noticed this. "Why the long face?"
"Well, you remember how I told you that we got a spy on the other team?" Jo explained.
"Uh-huh…"
"Yeah. Turns out, I think she said that she almost got the Invincibility Statue on Boney Island! AND she's back to making goo-goo eyes with the living limbo stick!"
"Hey, Cameron has been working on himself, mind you." Justin then realized, "Wait, you mean Dawn? She's the spy?"
Jo looked unamused, as usual, from the male model's density, before raising her eyebrows. "Great detective work, sleuth."
A nearby Gwen then added her take to the conversation. "I mean, hey, they just started their relationship a few days ago, so they might be a bit lovey-dovey…"
"So says the person who's broken up with two guys now!" Heather mocked.
"Oh, shut up, Heather!" Gwen snapped, getting in the queen bee's face.
"How's about both of ya shut up?" Anne Maria snidely remarked. "Yeah, she might have swapped spit with Courtney's man, but have you seen her kissing Alejandro, though?" Heather glared at Anne Maria while Gwen just smirked. "Hey, she has a point."
"If I didn't know any better, I say you actually do want him." Justin remarked.
Heather almost gagged. "Oh, please, he's the slimiest jerk that ever-" but she was cut off by Anne Maria.
"Look, honey, we all saw you when the show ended, you locked lips with him!"
Heather grimaced. "I was trying to foil his plan, thank you very much."
Meanwhile, the Heroes team all looked on with interest. "Oh my, it seems like Heather's denying her feelings." Dawn murmured to nobody in particular.
"Huh? So she still likes Antonio?" a nearby Lindsay asked.
"She does. She's just not sure if she still wants to be with him after the turmoil they had in season 3." Dawn explained.
"I'm just surprised that she still likes him even after she pushed him off a volcano before he got maimed by everyone running over him and even getting engulfed by boiling-hot lava," said Zoey. "How he even survived that, I have no idea!"
Soon all of them were fully ready for whatever torture Chris had prepared for them, they were all guided by Chef to a familiar place.
"The Chris Colosseum." Cameron muttered. He hadn't forgotten how season 4 had concluded, how it was him against Lightning, Brain versus Brawn.
"Are you alright?" Dawn said, sensing his tenseness at the stressful battle.
"Oh, I, um, I was just remembering something." He said at last.
"I know, and I understand." The girl said, wrapping her fingers around his, while he felt his fingers melting into hers. Soon he snapped back to reality as he and the others found themselves in front of a cage fighting ring.
"Alright! Now we can call this a party!" Chris said with a smile. "Fun fact, campers: today is technically the 100th episode of Total Drama!" He said, as Chef blew into a party horn and played some stock cheering sounds, with confetti raining down on everyone. "So, for a celebration, I thought we could revisit one of the easier challenges from the past: welcome back to 'Phobia Factor!'" He said, as some interns were heard coughing in the background. "But to make things even more interesting this time around, you'll all be facing your fears MMA Style!" A bell rang after he said this.
"This should be interesting…" said Gwen.
"Um, Chris?" Cameron asked. "How will you find out about our fears?"
"Simple! Dawn's gonna say what you're afraid of!" Chris explained, and turned to the girl he mentioned as she looked astonished. "We might have to change some stuff up about certain peoples' fears if need be, but the results should still be accurate!"
Owen stood near Dawn while holding a boom mic and said, "Good luck!"
(Confessional: Dawn)
"I can tell that Zoey was nervous for me to reveal her biggest fear, but I have to do it for the challenge. Zoey, if you see this, I'm deeply sorry, my friend."
(End confessional)
Chris handed Dawn a piece of loose leaf notebook paper on a clipboard and a pencil. She started to write, and 30 seconds later, she handed it back to him, and he was surprised by a lot of what was shown. "Uh-huh… oh, interesting!" Chris said before giving Dawn back the paper once again. "Alright! First up, for the Villains, Alejandro! You'll be going head-to-head against your brother, José!" Upon hearing this, Alejandro froze in fear.
(Confessional: Alejandro)
"Ugh, ever since my family moved out of our old home in Madrid, José's been such a pain! He's older, smarter, better-looking, and he calls me Al! And I hate it when he does that!" (His fists were almost white with how hard he was clenching them, but he soon regains his composure and unclenches his fists) "That should explain World Tour to everyone."
(End confessional)
Once Alejandro entered the ring and put on some boxing gloves handed to him by an intern, a puff of smoke cleared to reveal a tall, mid-20's latino man wearing a blue version of Alejandro's clothes. Alejandro quickly became enraged as he sneered, "José. We meet again, mi hermano."
Chris then butted in and said, "Oooh, sibling rivalry! This'll get interesting! Will Al have what it takes to stand up against his big bro?" Alejandro growled at the mention of his nickname.
"Find out when we return!"
(Commercial break)
After the break, Alejandro stared at his older brother, José, with a look of resentment not many people had seen from him, not even Justin.
"Buenos dias, Al." He said with a smug grin and venomous tone. "You look tired and in need of exfoliation."
Alejandro quickly became enraged by his brother's remarks. "I exfoliate once a week, thank you very much!" he snapped, "And the only thing I'm tired of is you!"
(Confessional: Alejandro)
"My whole life, José has been better than me at everything, from academics, to sports, and even personal grooming!" (Grins smugly) "Well, not this time, chico!"
(End confessional)
"Enough with the touching family reunion!" whined a somewhat annoyed Chris. "Start punching each other! It's more fun that way." and he pulled out some very unhealthy looking snacks.
Chef then rang a boxing bell and Alejandro and José lunged at each other, punching and blocking attacks from the other. However, they only delivered body hits and didn't target the other person's face. This confused Justin, who asked a nearby Jo, "Why aren't they punching each other's faces?"
She just rolled her eyes. "Yeah, like I would know what Dead Donkeys Numero Uno and Numero Dos have going on."
(Confessional: Alejandro)
(Holding a mirror) "It's in the Burromuertos family code. Not the face."
(Confessional: José)
(Sitting the opposite direction as Alejandro, also holding a mirror) "Never the face."
(End confessional)
The Latino brothers continued fighting each other, where Alejandro threw a punch at José, but the latter dodged it. He kept attempting to throw more punches, but to no avail, his brother managed to avoid every single one of them.
"Your technique is almost as embarrassing as the way your girlfriend with the unattractive personality humiliated you on national television… Twice!" José mocked before laughing.
This pushed Alejandro to the edge, who lunged towards his brother and tackled him. "That's for calling me Al!" he shouted. José tried to attack him again, but Alejandro dodged him and punched him from behind. "That's for always hogging the bathroom mirror AND replacing my soap with a urinal cake!" he hissed.
Meanwhile, outside of the ring, everybody else watched the fighting in surprise at the personal life of their enemy. "I never would've guessed he had it this hard!" Justin told a nearby Jo.
"Yeah, but at least this means we've got a greater chance of exploiting these weaknesses to take him down!" Jo explained, as she watched the fight with interest.
"Yeah, sure…" Justin responded wearily.
(Confessional: Justin)
"At first, I couldn't stand him. But now? I kinda feel bad for the guy! I mean, come on! If I had a sibling like that, my life would be a lot more difficult than it already is!" (Rubs the back of his neck)
(End confessional)
Back inside the ring, José stared down Alejandro as he winded up a punch. "And THIS," he screamed at the top of his lungs to his brother's face, "IS FOR CALLING ANY ASPECT OF HEATHER… UNATTRACTIVE!" as he delivered one final blow to José, sending him flying across the ring, bouncing off the ropes, and face-planting on the ground. Alejandro simply looked down and felt relieved in himself, he had finally defeated his brother. He planted a foot on the back of José's head to assert his dominance. His breathing was heavy, his face red with exhaustion, it took him a moment to realize that his outburst was seen by the titular queen bee herself, her face also flushing red.
(Confessional: Heather)
"Did he really just beat up José because he called me unattractive?" (Pause) (Slaps herself) "No! Get a grip, Heather! You will not let yourself be tempted by that sneaky sleazeball!"
(End confessional)
After Alejandro was done, José was being taken away. Chris then announced, "Well done, Alejandro! You just scored yourself a point for your team!"
"Que? What do you mean?" Alejandro asked.
"Every time you win a tournament," Chris explained, "you earn a point for your team. But if you lose or concede, neither team gets a point!"
"I guess that makes sense," said Jo. "Alright, who's next?"
"We're going in alphabetical order, so Anne Maria, you'll be fighting against a haircut!" Chris announced.
Anne Maria formed a confident smirk across her face. "Oh, showtime, baby!"
(Confessional: Anne Maria)
"Since I'm so worried about losing the pouffe, I make sure to use extra hairspray so I can't be touched by razors!" (Sprays hair vigorously) "If this doesn't work, I'm gonna sue this place."
(End confessional)
Anne Maria strapped on a pair of boxing gloves and strutted into the ring, where a male intern wielded an electric razor duct taped to a hockey stick. He charged towards the super-tanned girl, and winced as the razor almost touched her pouffe when she stopped him.
"Sorry, darling, but nobody touches the hair!" She then paused. "I'm gonna go easy on you though, 'cuz I'm pretty sure y'all don't even get paid minimum wage!" referencing the other interns present.
The inter nodded agreeingly, nevertheless, the intern pulled the stick back and swung down at Anne Maria, but it broke on contact with her pouffe, the razor landing at their feet, still buzzing on the ring floor. The intern gritted his teeth in fear as the Jersey Shore Reject grinned smugly. She then gave him a wicked uppercut right in the face, which sent him flying out of the ring. He was dragged across the ground as he skidded on his face and stopped right in front of Chris.
"And that's another win for the Vultures!" the host exclaimed as the aforementioned team cheered at the news. "And onto a Hamster for a change! Beth, you're gonna be going up against some snakes!"
"Hey wait! That's not my fear! It's being covered in bugs!" Beth objected.
"Well, technically, it is, since last time you dealt with worms, so we figured that these bad boys were the logical step up." Chris said with a snicker.
"You got this, Beth!" Lindsay cheered for her best friend. "If you can get over one fear, you can get over another!"
"Well, yeah, but snakes are more dangerous!" Beth explained, making Lindsay worried.
An intern then emptied a container of big, green snakes into the ring as at least 16 of them slithered towards the Wannabe. "Chris?" she asked, "Are any of them venomous?"
"Maybe, maybe not. We never checked, but that should only make this more exciting!" Chris enthused. Beth just froze in place.
The snakes came closer toward Beth, hissing and rattling before she took one last gulp and lunged toward the serpents. To everybody's surprise, she was actually doing quite well, socking it to a good nine or ten of them, until one of them slithered up her leg. She tried to shake it off, but another one began crawling up her body, making her flail her arms in fear while screaming before running out of the ring, tripping.
"And that's our first loss!" Chris announced. "Sorry Hamsters, but no points for second place!"
Beth trudged back to her team and sat down disappointed, before her bully, Heather, came up to mock her. "Wow, for someone who's been in jail before, you'd think that you'd be able to beat a few snakes without any trouble!" she snarled.
Beth quickly became enraged, as she grabbed a nearby snake and tossed it at Heather, which constricted around her neck. Heather screamed as she fell backwards out of her seat, before getting up to run around in panic. Everybody just watched it all unfold without saying anything out of pure shock that Beth had done this.
"Heather!" Alejandro then pried the slithery creature off of Heather, her breath still heavy.
"Woah, okay, that was probably a bit much." Mike said. "I get Heather isn't exactly your friend, but that was dangerous!"
"Oh jeez…" she uttered, "Guys, I-I'm sorry." Beth said, realizing she could have risked Heather getting seriously hurt, or worse.
"Still fun for me! Well, next up, blindfolded Brick against an intern!" Chris held the blindfold up. "Hey, it's the closest we can get to the dark."
Brick gulped, but he then remembered his training, and how a soldier must always be at his or her bravest. "Keep it together, Cadet," he told himself, "This is for your team. This is for your team."
Brick took the blindfold from Chris and tied it across his eyes. He yelled as he stumbled across the ring, missing his target intern at first, before turning around and accidentally knocking him over, earning his team a point.
"Well, that went by a bit faster than I thought it would, but onto the next match! It's Cameron versus a Spider!" Chris announced.
"Oh boy, here goes nothing…" Cameron sighed.
"Good luck, Cameron!" Dawn said to try and alleviate the worry she saw in his aura.
"Yeah, thanks…" Cameron halfheartedly responded.
As he stepped into the ring, he was faced with someone in the exact same spider costume he wore in the previous challenge, which he quickly noticed and said, "If I could wear that costume, I can beat whoever is wearing it! Maybe…"
He tried to run up to the spider to attack it, but it dodged him, making him bounce off the ropes around the ring. He shook his head and had to get back in the game.
"Alright, Cameron, think. What's it's weak spot?" He pondered to himself, eyeing the 8-legged creature.
He studied the obviously fake arachnid, knowing that someone was inside of it. The camera then smashed in on the spider's abdomen, in which he eventually figured out to aim for, as he slid under the spider, got back up, and uppercutted it right in its center.
Once the spider got up, Cameron charged at it once more, not expecting the outcome he'd get. When Cameron got close enough, however, he extended his arm as far out as he could, clotheslining the giant arachnid right in the face, which fell flat on its back. It then jumped up and body-slammed the former bubble boy, severely winding him and making him lose his glasses in the process, while also losing a point for his team.
Despite this, Cameron was more concerned about whoever was on top of him. "Augh, please, can you get off of me?" he cried, "I-I actually can't breathe!"
The spider got up from Cameron and took off its head, revealing the person inside the outfit to be the psycho redhead herself, Izzy. "Haha, hi, everyone!" She laughed before asking, "Did I win?" Oblivious to her smothering Cameron.
"Yes, Izzy, you won." Chris said in a somewhat unenthused tone.
"Seriously, I can't breathe!" Cameron shouted with the remaining oxygen in his lungs.
Izzy looked down to see the boy struggling beneath her. "Oh, geez!" She panicked as she stepped off of Cameron's back. "Ohgeezohgeezohcrap! I think I might've gone a bit overboard, I'm sorry!"
A lot of the contestants were surprised to see that Izzy had concern for someone else, especially considering her crazy personality, but Cameron was just relieved that he could breathe again. "It's alright, Izzy, what's done is done. Thanks for getting off me."
"Oh, yeah, sure!" Izzy said before noticing someone, A nearby Owen held a boom mic and said, "Is now not a good time to remind you of me?" He put his fingers together.
Izzy then snapped out of her worried state and noticed him. "Oh, hey, Owen! How's it been, man? I haven't seen you in, like, forever!"
"Um, you broke up with me." he said, a little pained.
(Confessional: Izzy)
(Confused) "Wait, I did?"
(End confessional)
"Hmmm, yeah, I don't really remember that happening… Oh well, see ya later, Big O!" Izzy then hopped out of the overly-large spider costume and left the ring, while Chris was shown to be getting slightly annoyed.
"Alright, you're up, Dawn!" Chris announced. "It says here that she's afraid of 'losing control of her emotions'. Whatever that means, we've brought back someone else who we're sure will do the trick!"
"Don't tell me…" Dawn groaned.
Before everyone knew it, a helicopter flew in and dropped an all-too-familiar face in front of Dawn: Scott.
"Ow!" Scott cried upon impact with the ground. "What am I doing here?"
"Well, one of the people partially responsible for you getting out third is in the ring," Chris explained, "So… make of that what you will!"
"Oh, I'll tell you what I'm gonna make of this!" Scott growled while cracking his knuckles, "I'm gonna make her pay!"
Dawn stared down Scott in fear. She knew that he knew what she did with Jo to get him eliminated, and given his hostility towards her during the leech challenge, things were not looking good for her. In fact, she was having a visible panic attack, where she had her arms on top of her head while tears began to well up in her eyes.
This only gave Scott even more incentive to attack Dawn, especially given how emotionally vulnerable she could be, even when thinking about him. "You really thought you got me, didn't you?" he asked in a spiteful and heinous tone, before punching Dawn in the stomach. She fell right to the floor. The Heroes all gasped, Lindsay and Zoey both covered their eyes.
"You really thought that you and Jo could just throw me out of the game and think I'd just take it? You thought wrong! And now, you're gonna wish you never messed with Victor Scott MacGregor!"
"Wait, his real name isn't Scott?" Zoey asked herself from outside the ring. Scott overheard her and responded, "Yeah, I just prefer to go by my middle name since it's an old family name."
"Um, hello? You're supposed to be beating Dawn to a pulp, remember?" Chris asked snidely.
"Oh, yeah, right! And I'm gonna have a lot of fun doing so!" Scott laughed, making Dawn even more anxious.
"I'm taking you down, you tea leaf-reading freak!" He said as he charged at the poor girl. "This is for making me look like a joke!" he wound up his arm, ready to hit her face.
This was the moment where Cameron had to step in for the girl he really cared about. "Dawn!" He shouted, "It's time to move past this!"
Zoey heard this, and gained the confidence to join in. "You need to be the bigger person!"
Mike also had to help. "You can do this!"
In the midst of her panic attack, all of this support made Dawn suddenly come to an epiphany. She was more powerful than Scott, even if he may not have realized it. So when he stepped towards the Moonchild and swung his fist at her, she caught it and squeezed it extremely hard, making him cringe in pain.
"H-HOW!?!?" Scott cried.
"It's quite simple, actually." Dawn explained as she pushed Scott aside. "I've been lonely for so long. I've barely interacted with anyone, and when I thought this show would change that, I ended up as nothing but a pawn in your selfish game!"
"Yeah, so?"
"But once everyone saw who you really are, I was able to discover that there's people here who do care about me! Especially Cameron, Mike, and Zoey!"
All the while, the aforementioned people were shown smiling.
"All of them have made these last few days some of the happiest in my entire life!"
Scott was beginning to worry, but he still kept his guard up and still intended to take down his opponent. "Well, what good's a couple people gonna do for you, huh?"
"The good they do for me is that they care about me." Dawn said before striking Scott in the jaw, knocking out one of his teeth in doing so. "The only thing you care about is yourself."
Scott fell down for a moment, but he got back up and wiped the blood from his mouth. He was furious, and was ready to finally pulverize Dawn. "That's it!" he screamed, "You're done for!"
But before he could get to her, Dawn extended her hand, stopping him from getting any closer. "Actually, I'd say you are done for." she said, before she swung her leg forward, striking the farm boy's… Unmentionables. Immediately, Scott fell and curled up on the ground in pain. Every other boy in range looked as if they felt it, too.
(Confessional: Duncan)
"Man, and I thought I had it bad with Courtney..."
(Confessional: Scott)
"First Cameron does that, and then his girlfriend? I mean, I can kinda understand why, but it still hurts! And those mary janes made it, like, ten times more painful!"
(End confessional)
"Why… does this… keep… happening to me!?!?" Scott whimpered, still in recoil.
"Because you couldn't let go of what happened, Victor," said Dawn. "It may have taken me a while, but now, I know I'm ready."
And with that, she exited the arena without saying another word.
(Confessional: Dawn)
"I should probably be happier about this, but for now, I'll just thank Mother Earth that the turmoil between me and Scott can finally be over and done with."
(Confessional: Jo)
"Heh heh, she may think she's done with the whole Scott thing, but now all of her teammates know about it!" (Pauses and stares nervously) "You know, I actually kinda feel bad for her. She didn't do anything that deserved Scott to be the way he did, and it sucks how she'd get so emotional at the sight of him… Oh yeah, this is a game after all, so I can't get caught up in feeling this way about the people I'm working with! But still…"
(End confessional)
"Wait, so you and Jo got Scott eliminated?" Zoey asked.
"Well, I guess you all know now…" Dawn sighed, as her eyes began to water again. She followed that up with, "I'm… I'm so sorry." before she began crying, falling to her knees.
Zoey ran up to her. "Hey, hey, don't be upset!" She said, comforting her friend. "It's okay, Dawn!"
"But… I lied to all of you!" cried Dawn. "I did what Scott always did, but only because I thought it'd help me in the game!"
"Well, yeah, what you did wasn't right, per se, but he did kind of have it coming." Mike mentioned.
"Th-thank you," Dawn squeaked while wiping her eyes. "That's what Cameron said a few days ago when I told him about everything."
"Listen, Dawn," Zoey said, kneeling down to the Moonchild's level. "What's done is done, so it's best you move on in the game and try to play the best you can. Mike, Cam, and I are here for you and we'll support you to the end."
"Thank you, Zoey." Dawn said as she gave the Indie Chick a hug, which was returned. "I'm glad we were able to become such good friends."
"Even though it's nice to see that someone got hurt, that was still pretty underwhelming." Chris scoffed. "Anyhoo, back to the Vultures, now, it's time for Mr. I-Can't-Sing-To-Save-My-Tiny-Rat's-Butt is up next." He looked to Duncan, who rolled his eyes.
(Confessional: Duncan)
"Oh, come on! That was, like, forever ago! How pathetic does Chris have to be to still rag on that?" (Slams his fist on the seat) "That stupid-"
(End Confessional)
Duncan soon found himself with boxing gloves and inside the ring. "Duncan! I hope your heart can go on, dude, cause you'll be fighting… the Celine Dion music store standee!" Once the standee was lifted into the ring, Duncan said nothing and immediately kicked it down. Ten seconds went by without a word from anybody else, Zoey coughed into her hand, Anne Maria filled her nails, and Beth wiped her glasses, the silence was pretty uncanny.
"Well, that was… anticlimactic..." Chris broke the silence in a bored voice, before cracking a smirk. "Too bad that wasn't the main event!" Everyone gasped.
"Haha! Yeah, you didn't actually think I would make it that simple, did you?" A storm of dust suddenly blew up, catching all of the contestants. It made Zoey have to use her inhaler again. Everyone looked up, it was the helicopter from the beginning of the season.
"Here comes your real fight now!" Chris shouted over all the noise.
"Duncan has to fight a helicopter?" Lindsay asked loudly.
"No!" Chris answered, before pulling out his megaphone. "HE'S FIGHTING WHAT'S IN THE HELICOPTER!"
The bottom hatches of the helicopter opened, and out dropped a face that Duncan was less than excited to see again, and was even less than happy when Chris spoke back up.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it's Duncan's ex-lover, and everyone's favorite lawyer girl, Courtney!"
Courtney was screaming as she was thrown from the chopper, landing face-down in the ring with a great "thud!" She slowly got up and dusted herself off. "Gah! Back on this show, again?" The girl was, of course, very upset that she wasn't quite done with Total Drama just yet.
"That's right, Courtney! Don't worry, you don't have to do anything new, just kinda do your best to beat the snot out of Duncan, and you're gold!" Chris chuckled, gesturing to the delinquent, who was still frozen in disbelief.
"Ugh… you all are never gonna let that go, are you?" Courtney groaned looking back at the punk.
Duncan glanced at Courtney, then looked to the ground, before looking back to Courtney and asking, "So, uh, you gonna do it or not?" He then held his arms out and said, "I mean, go ahead, I kinda deserve it, given the stuff I've done."
Courtney sighed heavily. "Listen, Duncan," she went on, "Neither of us were right, and I finally understand that includes me. I've been trying to get the help I need to make sure that I don't have any more outbursts. Kinda like what happened between me and Gwen the last time I was here."
"Yeah, I see where you're coming from, but are you gonna try to fight me or not?"
"Eh, you know what? You can come take me down if you want. I kinda deserve it, anyway…"
Duncan was a bit hesitant for a couple seconds knowing what happened last time he was in a scenario like this, but he soon just shrugged it off and walked up to Courtney, punching her to the ground and scoring another point for his team.
Since Gwen was near Courtney's head, she lifted herself up to the side of the ring and told the CIT, "Hey, Courtney, listen, I'm glad you've been trying to improve. It means a lot to me, really."
"Of course, Gwen. Good luck." Courtney responded before getting up and leaving the ring.
Gwen was up next, and she was put against an intern with a shovel and a casket, he even had the hockey mask of the psycho killer with a chainsaw and hook.
"Okay, get in," the intern told Gwen in a generic spooky voice. In response, she took the shovel from the intern's hand and hit him over the head with it, gaining her team a point. She chucked the shovel behind her, but it ended up hitting Jo right in the head. "Ah!"
"Woah, sorry!"
Chris was visibly starting to twitch at how short all of these matches were. Nevertheless, he continued.
"Oh, come on!" Chris was getting more and more heated with each round. "Can some of you at least try to bring some pain today? This is the integrity of the show that's on the line here!"
"Hey, Owen! why don't you make yourself useful and get over here? 'Cause Heather's up next!"
The camera smashed in on Heather as her pupils shrank. "Oh no, please tell me I'm not going against-" She shuddered as she continued, "Him."
Owen was seen ripping his shirt off. "I've been told I could make a good sumo wrestler!"
"You can not be for real!" Heather wailed.
Owen started charging towards Heather, causing her to panic. "Hey, now, go easy on me, Owen!" she said worriedly. "Maybe we can do something else for this?"
"Not gonna happen, aaaannnd… also not gonna happen!" Called a nearby Chris.
"Ugh!" Heather yelled while dodging Owen. "Now I wish I could've just told that creepy girl that my actual fear is Alejandro finding out that I still like him!" A collective gasp was heard from the rest of the contestants present, except for Alejandro, who just shot an excited grin; and Dawn, who just felt bad for knowing.
"There, I said it!" Heather cried. Next thing she knew, Owen was crushing her with his own obese body. "Oh, man! Sorry, Heather." He said.
"Now THAT'S more like it!" Chris enthused. "At least keeping him here has some benefits!"

(Cheesing) "I! KNEW! IT!"

"What do you know? Some people do change." (Laughs)
(End confessional)
"Next up to bat, Jo!" Chris announced. "Maybe you can make things interesting for a change?"
After she put on her boxing gloves, Jo marched up to the ring, confident as ever, until something happened that nobody would have ever expected. Another intern came in and placed an American shorthair cat in front of the Jockette, which just meowed softly as Jo took a tiny step back and a visible sweat drop formed on her head. A lot of the other contestants were either confused or surprised.
"Wait, cats?" Justin spoke up. "You're scared of CATS?" He did his best to contain some laughter, he was beside himself.
"I just don't like 'em, okay?" Jo moaned. "Especially the hairless ones, those things are gross." Still in a bit of disgust, she crouched down to try to lead the cat out of the ring.
"Good kitty…" She tried to coax, but the cat instead leapt onto Jo's face and started intensely scratching her. Jo let out a piercing yell as ten rather well-honed claws were buried into her cheeks. She tried to pull the cat off, but the boxing gloves were no help, so she threw them off and she grabbed the creature to peel it from her face, yelping as the claws were released from her skin. She tossed the cat out of the ring, which landed in a nearby bush. It popped its head out from the leaves and let out one more "Meow", appearing rather pleased with itself as Chef picked it up and carried it away.
Jo hurried down from the ring and went up to Justin, who looked on in shock as he peeked at her face; Jo was covered in deep, red cuts, she had to hold back a tear.
"I think y-you're up next, P-Pretty Boy… so, uh, good luck, or wha-whatever." She said wearily.
"Yeah, sure…" Justin wasn't so sure, however, after what he had just witnessed.
Chris' impatience was getting to him. "Yeah, yeah, Justin, just go." The host then went over to Alejandro, and started whispering into his ear. The Latino devilishly grinned in response, and raced out of view of the camera.
Once Justin stepped into the ring, there right before him stood his recent archnemesis, Alejandro. "Looks like El Muchacho can't catch a break, huh?" Chris quipped. The camera started panning between dramatic shots of Justin and Alejandro, just like in an old Western movie. "First, it's him versus his brother, and now, versus Justin! If you're wondering, it says on this paper that Justin's worried about being beaten by Alejandro in the game." Chris explained.
"Yes, this should be muy fácil!" Alejandro proclaimed arrogantly, before punching his boxing gloves together.
Justin put his gloves fists up in a fighting stance, and soon enough, the match began. The Eye Candy let out a sort of battle cry as he sprinted towards his opponent, and swung a hand at Alejandro with quite the force, only for it to be blocked. The battle just kept going, mostly consisting of throwing more punches, blocking, and dodging and blinding speeds. As the camera zoomed in on both of them, it was almost certain that the fire was deep in their eyes. Neither boy was refusing to give in. The rest of the competitors looked on with great intensity.
"I've got to say, Alejandro, you must be struggling given how long you spent on life support!" Justin said venomously.
"Well, at least I almost got the million! You got out halfway through the second season!" Alejandro deflected. "And to COURTNEY, of all people!"
"Hey, you targeted basically everyone in season 3, so I think it's time for you to know how that feels!" Justin shouted before throwing another punch at Alejandro, but he grabbed Justin's fist and squeezed it very hard, making the latter cringe in pain before using his other hand to punch the former's chest. Justin thought he had the upper hand, but when he charged towards Alejandro, he was stopped by his opponent grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and giving him a smug grin.
Eventually, Alejandro wound up for a devastating blow, spinning his arm in a fast, tornado-like motion. As he went for the punch, the scene slowed down to nearly a snail's pace. Justin gawked at the strike that was coming right for him, but he then gritted his teeth and dropped incredibly low to the boxing ring floor, in a limboing stance where he almost touched the ground, but not quite. Alejandro looked shocked as Justin grabbed his still extended arm, picking him up and tossing him backwards. The Spaniard fell hard on his back, but bounced right back up, landed on his hands and sprung onto the ropes of the boxing ring, launching himself right towards Justin, both arms extended. Justin blocked this attack, but both fighters were shoved back from the force, their feet sliding on the floor, before coming to a complete stop. There was then a moment where they both stood still, breathing heavily, their gloves still crushed together. The camera then kept making cuts to everybody else, who were just watching everything in disbelief, even Chris and Chef. Soon enough, Justin and Alejandro picked right back up where they left off, with more vigorous punching and blocking.
"I gotta ask you something, amigo," Justin said as he kept brawling against Alejandro. "Do you think it's easy having to be attached to all sorts of modeling contracts?"
"Well, despite my looks, I never considered that," Alejandro said as he attacked Justin, but not going too hard as to continue trying to hear what his rival had to say. "Regardless, why should I?"
"Well, newsflash: It's not. Not only does it take a lot of time out of my schedule, but it's really stressful having to do all these commercials and stay on all these low-carb diets!" Justin lamented with much power as he fought against the Arch-Villain. "And it's especially stressful for me since I'm a massive introvert!"
Alejandro paused his attack and asked, "You are?"
Justin was ready to throw another punch, but he stopped right in his tracks. "Yeah! It's why I never talked in season 1! Because it's hard enough dealing with every girl on the island being obsessed with me!" He seemed to be holding back a few tears. "And all the stress and anxiety from my modeling contracts didn't really help matters!"
Outside the ring, Chris was becoming increasingly bored with the action. "Yeah, that's cool and all," he said, "but we wanna see some more pain, not tragic backstories, so if you two can be at each other's throats like you usually are, that'd be great!"
However, neither of the two received the memo. If anything, Alejandro was mostly surprised and remorseful for Justin, now that he was aware of how life was for him. "Wow, I never knew your life was so rough… I guess that makes two of us then, huh?"
"Yeah, but maybe our similar motives and backstories aren't a bad thing. Honestly, we could've used our skills to get farther all the way back at the start of the season!" said Justin.
"Really?" Chris kept complaining.
"You know what? You're right." said Alejandro before he and Justin embraced each other. Jo saw this from where she was sitting outside the ring and quickly became dumbfounded at what had just happened.
(Confessional: Jo)
(Stares awkwardly for a few seconds before shouting) "WHAT!?"
(End confessional)
At this point, Chris was boiling. All the tension he had desired dried up before him, and he was furious.
"WHY!?!?" he shouted over the microphone. "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST HURT EACH OTHER? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH OUR RATINGS ARE GONNA PLUMMET BECAUSE OF THIS?"
"Hey, I think we're really onto something!" Justin complained.
"Yeah, let us reconcile in peace!" Alejandro agreed.
Chris then took a deep breath and said, "Whatever! Lindsay's next!"
Once Lindsay hopped into the ring, she was greeted by the same intern who fought against Anne Maria earlier, only with much of his hair shaved off, and the razor strapped back on the hockey stick with even more duct tape. He rushed towards the Dumb Princess, only for her to scream in terror and kick the razor out of his hands, before it flew up in the air and landed back down on his head, shaving the rest of his hair off.
"Alright, that's a little better…" Chris said nearby, "But it was still a bit underwhelming if you ask me. You know, it kinda gives me a feeling of deja vu, for some reason…" he smugly eyed Heather, who gasped before gritting her teeth in anger.
"Haha, right! Up next, Mike!"
"Oh, okay!" said Mike.
"Let's go, Mike!" Cameron cheered his friend on.
"Good luck!" Zoey beamed.
"Be careful, Michael!" Dawn said nervously.
(Confessional: Mike)
"Originally, my biggest fear was being rejected by Zoey for my disorder. But she's fine with it, so now I'm gonna go against my number two fear, which is…"
(End confessional)
Mike had already stepped into the ring, before being greeted by an intern dressed as a clown, which he took care of by ripping off his shirt, giving Vito control in doing so. Vito then went on to give the intern quite a heavy beating. This greatly enthused Chris, who said, "Now THAT'S more like it!"
"Uh, yeah, sure…" Zoey worried. However, Mike was still able to score a point for his team.
Tyler was next, and he was facing off against a Delaware chicken. "Oh geez," he worried, "This was what got me out when we first started!"
"Don't worry, you can do this!" Lindsay said nearby.
Hearing his girlfriend's supportive sentiment increased Tyler's determination, as he began chasing the chicken around the ring. The chicken did outrun him, but eventually, he tripped and fell over, catching the chicken in the process. "Great!" he exclaimed, before remembering what he caught. "Great…" he moaned, before the chicken started flapping its wings and scratching his face with its legs. Tyler screamed in pain while pulling the chicken away from his face, eventually tossing it out of the ring. "Get out of here, you foul fowl!" he shouted.
"Wow, it looks like he's come full-circle!" Cameron pointed out.
"I'd say so!" Mike mentioned, before turning towards Zoey and saying, "Hopefully you'll be able to win for us, too!"
"Me too. Well, I gotta go do my fight now. But don't worry, we can chat after the challenge!" said Zoey. After her brief conversation with her friends, she then climbed into the ring, only to watch an intern wearing a beekeeper outfit place a well-sized yellow jacket nest in front of her. "No!" she cried out.
(Confessional: Zoey)
"Ever since I was a little kid, wasps and hornets have always terrified me! I know it sounds childish, but I just really don't like them!"
(End confessional)
"Finally! We have something interesting, Zoey against some yellow jackets!"
"Oh, are those like bees?" Lindsay asked once again.
"Um, yeah, but they're wayyyy more painful!" Chris answered. "And pain is great for ratings!"
"You and your stupid ratings…" Zoey mumbled. She stared down the nest of wasps in front of her, becoming even more nervous of being attacked. She walked towards it slowly, not wanting to surprise the wasps, before one of them landed on her arm. She tried to shoo it away, but then another one got on her. And then another. And in trying to shoo them, she accidentally knocked over their nest. Now, the whole colony was angry, and she was their target. Zoey could only veer on in terror as the lethal insects all swarmed into the shape of a skull and crossbones. The girl turned visibly pale.
"Oh God…" Zoey whimpered. She began to panic, as she started running, but to no avail. She was stung multiple times on her head and arms, and each time, she screamed out in agony.
"AHHHH! IT HURTS! MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP!!!" Zoey cried. She only continued to make the situation worse, however, by flailing her arms and running around, hoping she could deter the wasps from attacking her. This only made them sting her more, all over her body, causing her to scream and wail in immense pain before her friends began to worry.
"Chris, I think we should start wrapping things up here," Cameron worried.
"She's been in there for a bit and I don't think we'll be winning because of this!" Mike added.
"Are you kidding?" Chris laughed. "This'll get viewership numbers through the roof!"
"But… She could get hurt! Or maybe even killed!" Mike exclaimed.
"Hey, you gotta crack some eggs to make an omelet, dude!" Chris said with a devious inflection.
Mike's blood began to boil, and he knew something had to be done. So, he rushed to the medical tent, which was only a few feet away from the ring, and picked up some wasp killing spray. He then ran back to the ring, which Zoey had exited as a means of conceding her fight, and sprayed the area around her, prompting her to pull her shirt over her mouth, as the wasps around the two started dying on contact. Once he was done, Zoey took a puff from her inhaler.
"Huh? Why'd you do that?" Zoey asked, still reeling from her encounter.
"I couldn't handle watching you being hurt for the sole purpose of entertaining a lunatic." Mike explained. "You're the most amazing person I've ever known, Zoey. And I'll be there to help you no matter what."
"Oh, you're the best, Mike," Zoey swooned, as she pulled Mike in for a hug.
"Aw, isn't that nice?" Mocked a nearby Chris, "But you guys still lost the challenge!"
"Honestly, I don't care. As long as our best friends are happy, then we're happy!" Cameron rebuked, putting an arm around Dawn, who looked at him and smiled.
"Well, it's still kinda sad that we lost," Beth sulked.
"I mean, it kinda makes sense when you think about it. You're team's nothing more than a bunch of dumb losers!" Heather sneered.
"Uh, yeah, I think she gets the idea, no need for the theatrics," Gwen said worriedly.
Heather ignored her teammate and turned towards Beth. "And YOU'RE the dumbest loser of the bunch!"
This was where Beth blew her stack. "SHUT UP!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, making everyone, including Chris and Chef, turn their heads towards her and Heather.
"What is your major malfunction!?" Beth went on. "After seeing you in season 3, I really thought for a second that you could be better! I thought you could put aside your ego to try and take down Alejandro! But no, you're back to picking on me, and you're still into him!"
Lindsay began to worry about her friend. "Uh, Beth?" she said, "I think we should probably head out now, we don't want this to get any worse…"
"I don't care what happens to me!" Beth snapped. "I just want Heather to get the idea that I'm not gonna sit here and take her bullying anymore!"
"Oh yeah?" Heather snidely rebutted. "And what are you gonna do to stop me?"
"I'll show you!" Beth shouted, as she walked towards Heather, stared her down for a couple seconds, and then proceeded to give her a wicked slap across her face. Heather stared at Beth in disbelief and rage, while the rest of the contestants just stood on the sidelines, not wanting to get involved in what was going on.
"There! Now you know how the pain you put me through feels!" Beth fumed. This pushed Heather to the edge. But before she could say or do anything, Beth, as if out of the blue, jerked her hands out as fast as lightning, and vice gripped the ring of Heather's halter top, yanking the girl towards her.
Heather was nearly helpless. One could see there was nothing but hurt in Beth's eyes. She knew this had gone on for way too long.
"It's about time you got a taste of your own medicine!"
It all looked to be going downhill from here, until someone stepped in that neither Beth or Heather were expecting. "STOP!" they shouted.
Beth turned around, and it was Lindsay.
"Beth, please stop. This isn't worth it." she said, as her eyes began watering. By this point, Beth knew full well that she was in trouble, especially since her best friend was disappointed in her. She looked around at her teammates, who were also horrified at her, and then back towards Lindsay, before letting go of Heather, who was still mortified by what had just happened.
"Linds…" Beth uttered, "I'm so sorry."
(Confessional: Beth)
"I can already tell this isn't gonna end well for me…"
(End confessional)
After Beth's encounter with Heather, Zoey started stammering, feeling a bit woozy. Her friends all turned to see what was happening. Zoey's eyes rolled into the back of her head; the next thing everyone knew, the camera appeared as if it was falling down, the scene faded to black, and the sound of her hitting the ground was heard.
The scene started blinking open, and Zoey found herself waking up in the infirmary. The staff took her there to recover from the wasp venom inside of her, as well as the small bits of pesticide she may have inhaled. While an intern removed the stingers from her body and also cleaned the areas she was stung on with a wet washcloth, she continuously vomited inside a paper bag, mainly because of the venom. After some time, Mike, Cameron, and Dawn stopped by to pay her a visit.
"Zoey?" Mike called out in a whisper, peeking his head through the flap of the tent.
"It's us," Cameron said. They, along with Dawn, all came in.
Zoey slowly lifted her head to see her friends. "Huh? Oh, hey, guys. Thanks for coming to see me," she mewled before throwing up again, grossing the other three out.
"Are you feeling any better?" Cameron asked.
"Not really," said Zoey, "Those yellow jackets were no joke." she moved her head more to face her friends
"Yes, even for my affinity with nature, I've always had trouble getting to wasps and hornets…" Dawn mentioned.
"Yeah, it's just…" Zoey went on, "I'm worried that you guys'll think my fear of them is stupid or childish, or whatever. Like, that's what I've thought for so long, and even though I've tried to get over it, none of my efforts work!"
Mike leaned over Zoey's infirmary bed. "Listen, Zoey," he told her, "Fear is a totally normal thing for all of us. Sometimes it may be over something insignificant, but most other times, fear can help us avoid getting hurt!"
"Huh, I guess you're right. Thanks, Mike," said Zoey.
"Yeah," Cameron added, trying to put in a bit of humor to further ease the situation, "just think of it like Wicker Man, you know what I'm saying?
Mike and Dawn just stared at him. He felt a bit guilty after that one.
"Right, right… ba-bad time. Sorry."
Mike went right back to consoling his love interest. "Anyways, you're welcome, Zoey." He said as he gave her a peck on the cheek. "We all agreed to vote Beth tonight, since she lost a fight first and since she had that… outburst with Heather. Sound good to you?"
"Sure. I'll see you guys tonight." Zoey answered.
"Okay, Zoey, take care," Cameron said as he, his girlfriend, and his best friend left Zoey to recover.
Later that night, the Heroic Hamsters sat in the elimination area while the Villainous Vultures sat in the Peanut Gallery, with the latter team having a difficult time deciding who would go to Boney Island.
"I, uh, I guess I can go if you want," Duncan proposed.
"Well, we've barely got any takers, so sure, be my guest," Jo responded.
After Duncan left, Chris made an announcement to the teams. "So, as some of you may know," he said, "we've found that Dawn's done some pretty dirty stuff behind our backs!"
"She did?" Tyler asked, not knowing about what happened.
"Uh, yeah?" Zoey said, confused. "How did you not know about that? Where were you during that part?"
"Oh, yeah, I was in the bathroom." Tyler promptly explained, pointing his thumb behind him.
"Ohhh, that makes sense!" said Lindsay.
After Tyler explained his absence, Chris continued explaining something to everyone. "Anyways, since you all know about what happened, get ready to switch teams, Dawn!"
"What!?" Dawn and Cameron cried out in unison.
"Yeah, I guess your sweetie's not as sweet as she seems!" Chris mocked.
"Well, Cameron, before I go," Dawn said as she turned towards the former Bubble Boy, "I want to thank you for all the kindness and support you, Mike, Zoey, and the rest of the team were able to give me."
"No, Dawn," said Cameron, "Thank you. I'm so glad we were able to become so close these last few days, and I'm sure we'll still be able to do well even on different teams."
The two looked into each other's eyes for a moment. "Well, good luck, Cameron," Dawn responded, before kissing Cameron one more time. She then turned to the other Heroes. "And I wish the rest of you well, too!"
"Thanks, Dawn!" said Zoey.
"We'll miss you!" said Mike.
Once Dawn got up from her seat, all four of them joined in for a group hug. Once they broke off, Chris then announced, "As I was saying, Dawn, you'll be switching teams with… Gwen!" When she was named, Gwen just said nothing and got up. Dawn then had to say something to the person joining her former team. "Gwen," she said, "I know you're about to take my place on the Heroic Hamsters, but I don't hold anything against you for having to do this. It's just how the game works, I suppose."
"Oh, it's nothing, really," Gwen responded, "Well, good luck with the Vultures anyway!"
"Thanks…" Dawn said wearily, as went over to the peanut gallery.
Once Gwen sat down, Brick said, "So, it looks like you're now a Hamster!"
Gwen nervously chuckled. "Heh heh, yeah, it kinda does look like that!" She remarked.
"Of course, what matters at the moment is that one of the good guys!" Cameron affirmed.
"Affirmative, Cameron!" Brick agreed. "It's an absolute honor, ma'am!"
Gwen felt herself slightly blushing as her new team made her feel right at home.
"Hey, uh, Gwen," Tyler joined in, rubbing the back of his head, "Sorry about the whole 'You Kissing Duncan' thing, I feel kinda responsible for that one."
"Eh, I think we've all moved past that, ya know? No big deal." assured Gwen.
"Well, welcome to our team, Gwen!" Zoey greeted while extending her hand out to Gwen, which the latter shook. "I'm sure you'll be great with us!"
"Um, yeah! I hope so!" Gwen responded, surprised by how welcoming the Hamsters were.
Meanwhile, Dawn sat down at an empty seat in the Peanut Gallery. "'Sup, fresh meat?" Jo greeted charismatically.
"Um, I'm a vegetarian…" Dawn pointed out.
"Eh, doesn't matter," Jo followed up, "You're one of us now!" The rest of the Vultures looked at her and laughed deviously, making Dawn worried about her future on the team. All of them except for Duncan, who was watching everything from the Boat of Losers far away.
(Confessional: Duncan)
"Well, she was able to help me out in the last challenge when I was feeling down, so, uh, that's pretty cool, I guess."
(End confessional)
"Yeah, yeah, let's just get this over with!" Chris said hastily. "All of you are safe except for Beth and Zoey!" He then threw a marshmallow to the rest of the Hamsters, even giving one to Gwen despite her just joining the team.
"Why the sudden change in pace?" Mike asked.
"We're on a tight schedule, yeah?" Chris responded. "Anyways, Beth and Zoey, one of you will be going away. Beth, not only did you lose first for your team, but you really put it to Heather, which is good for ratings, but apparently not good for your image with your teammates! Could've ended a whole lot worse, I tell ya."
"Don't remind me…" Heather groaned while putting her hand over her head. The mark of Beth's hand was still on the side of her face.
"And Zoey," Chris continued, "You lost for your team when it especially mattered: Right at the end of the challenge!"
"I don't even blame her for jumping out of the ring!" Mike argued.
"Whatever the case, the last one safe is…" Zoey looked on with an extremely worried expression, while Beth looked down at the ground in remorse.

"Zoey!"
"Really!?" Zoey cried as she received a marshmallow. "Thank you all so much!"
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure we all should've seen this one coming…" Beth sighed. "Sorry for all the trouble, everyone, I voted myself out just to make up for it."
"It's okay, Beth." Lindsay said to her friend. "I know Heather was being… Heather… But there's better ways to be mad at her than to do what you did!"
Beth looked back at Heather, who turned away, prompting Beth to ignore her, but the latter quickly regained her composure before Lindsay went on.
"Listen, I told you in the last challenge that not a lot of people liked me because of how my brain was wired, and it wasn't fun! But just because some bully doesn't like you doesn't like you doesn't mean you don't have anyone with you! You have me, Tyler, and plenty of other people who care about you!"
"Wow… You're right." Beth responded. "Heather's just a bully, and you and all the other friends I made are proof of how wrong she was!"
"And I'm glad that's what happened!"
Beth smiled and placed her palms on Lindsay's. "Besties for the restie?"
Lindsay couldn't help but smile back. "Besties for the restie!" She assured Beth.
"Yeah, okay, let's get a move on, now, people," Chris impatiently urged, "Time constraints, remember?"
Lindsay pulled Beth in for one last hug. Beth was more than happy to hug back, before telling her and Tyler, "Thanks, and good luck, you guys!"
"No sweat!" Tyler joined in on the conversation, "And I'm glad we were able to become friends even if you're leaving kinda soon!"
They shared a fist bump. "I'll see you two around!" Beth said before heading up to the recently refurbished Sling-of-Shame, complete with a new aluminum base where Owen cracked it during what was supposed to be his elimination.
"Looks like you guys fixed this thing!" Beth pointed out. "Good job!"
"Ehhh, it was mostly my doing!" Owen mentioned while holding a camera nearby. "Even though it was the only way Chris wouldn't sue me…"
"Darn skippy, Owen!" Chris remarked. "Anyways, do you have any last words before you go?"
Beth hopped into the slingshot's elastic band and said, "You sure it'll work this time?"
"I dunno! Let's find out!" Chris said before Beth was launched out of the slingshot, screaming into the horizon.
Chris then turned towards the audience and said, "Looks like it does work! Will Dawn and Gwen adjust to their new teams? Will Alejandro and Justin adjust to not wanting to lacerate each other? And will Duncan adjust his mood while on Boney Island? Find out next time, right here, on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"

NOTES FROM AUTHOR:
Wow, this one took a lot longer than anticipated! But with school, hobbies, and other projects getting in the way, I'm glad we were able to get this out! I had a lot of fun writing this episode, from the challenge to the character interactions, and I even based Zoey having Spheksophobia off of me having the same fear in real life! Also, now you all know the reason why Dawnmeron became official so early on, because Dawn's a Vulture now! This should be interesting…
As for Beth's elimination, once again, the driving force in me deciding to boot her was because she felt like a floater. Heck, I only added her because she was a finalist in Action! I do plan to have some more of the upcoming eliminations serve a purpose to the plot and Jo's motivations though, so I guess there's that.
Also, the reason I had this and No One Egg-spects the Spanish Opposition switch their order is because I felt it'd be more appropriate if this was the episode where Alejandro and Justin make amends, while the next one would focus on them working together and how Jo reacts to it, in addition to how she'll work with Dawn now that they're on the same team. I know that's kinda spoilery, but at least you all have something to look forward to!
But thanks for reading this episode, and stay tuned for the next one!
