"No One Egg-spects the Spanish Opposition" Total Drama: All-Stars Improved Episode 8
(Narration from Chris) "Last time on Total Drama: All-Stars! For our 100th episode, our final 15 fought against their greatest fears, MMA style! We even saw some surprise appearances from old contestants like Courtney, Scott, and even Izzy! We learned so much about our wonderful punching bags, like how Heather still likes the same guy she was fine with being incinerated by lava, that same person making amends with his long-time nemesis of a couple days, Zoey being totally cool with Mike throwing the challenge for her, and Dawn being partially responsible for Scott's elimination! This even made her switch teams with Gwen, while Beth ended up going home after flipping her lid at Heather! Surprised it didn't happen sooner… But what new revelations will we learn this time? How will Cameron fare after his girlfriend joins the dark side? And will Gwen finally see the light? Find out all this and more, right now on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"
After the intro, the episode starts outside the loser's cabin, where a mysterious, shadowy figure could be seen passing through the bushes before disappearing into the forest. Inside the cabin, the Heroic Hamsters (now including Gwen) were waking up and getting ready for the day. Since Gwen had joined the team the other day, she saw this as a good opportunity to try and interact with her new teammates. Eventually, she noticed Zoey was also awake, so she went up to the Indie Chick and said, "Um, mornin', Zoey!"
Zoey looked up from her food and noticed Gwen. "Oh, hey, Gwen!" she said. "You doing alright?"
"As far as being on a new team goes, I'd say I've been doing pretty good!" The Loner Goth smiled.
"That's great!"
Eventually, Zoey glanced to her side and noticed Cameron still feeling down about what happened the other night, since his girlfriend, Dawn, had switched to the other team. Gwen also noticed this and quietly told Zoey, "You should probably go talk to him."
Zoey nodded and walked towards Cameron, who was sitting on his bed and looking down at the floor with a sorrowful expression. They both sat quietly for a moment until Zoey broke the silence and said "Hey, Cam." She put his hand in hers.
"Hi." Cameron muttered in a low, depressed voice.
"Still sad about what happened last night?" Zoey asked. Cameron nodded his head.
"Yeah, I know. Dawn was really nice, and it sucks she had to leave our team," Zoey continued, "But this doesn't mean you shouldn't keep going. When Mike got eliminated, I was so heartbroken, but I still went on because I knew that's what he'd want, And I'm sure Dawn would want the same out of you!" The faux redhead soothed.
"Thanks, Zoey," Cameron said before giving Zoey a hug, which she returned. After which, he said, "I hope she's doing okay…"
Meanwhile, in the spa hotel, Dawn was in a similar mood to Cameron since they were no longer on the same team. She still sat with her teammates in the buffet, but they could all tell that she wasn't happy, and there was hardly any chatter amongst them. After some time, however, Heather prompted Dawn by awkwardly asking her, "So, um… how's it feel to be one of us, now?"
"Well, it's not been all that great, since I had to be separated from the person I love," Dawn responded, "But I'm sure I'll get over it soon. I know he is still here for the time being."
"Hmm, long-distance relationships are a bit difficult to maintain…" Justin followed up with.
"Says the person who can't get anyone drooling over him anymore…" Anne Maria snidely commented.
"Honestly, if bad sarcasm was something truly evil, I could see why you're on this team!" said Justin. "I mean, compared to the likes of Heather and Scott, you're not that big of a bad girl, darling."
"Ah, yeah, I wouldn't really go as far and say that I'm a villain," Anne Maria explained, "But it mostly boils down to how I'm real easy to annoy."
"Given that you have four younger cousins who are known to bother you whenever you see them, that's not surprising…" Dawn commented. Anne Maria was somewhat surprised that Dawn knew this, but given her interactions with other people on the island, she wasn't too surprised, so she said nothing.
Before too long, however, Jo came up to Dawn and said, "Can I talk to you? Like, in private?"
"Um, alright?" Dawn responded nervously, as she got up from her chair and walked with Jo to a nearby room, with the latter locking the door. "What do you want?" Dawn asked once they were in total privacy.
"It's about Alejandro and Justin," Jo explained, "Since I'm sure you're aware that they're… Buddies now…"
"Yes…" said Dawn. "What about it?"
"Yeah, I'm gonna have to get rid of one of them somehow," Jo proclaimed.
Dawn stared blankly for a second before saying, "What?!"
"Shhhhh!" said Jo, putting her finger over Dawn's mouth. "Don't let them hear you!"
The scene then flashed to the buffet, where Alejandro asked Justin (who was sitting next to him), "Do you ever get the feeling that someone's talking about you without you even knowing?"
Justin shrugged and said, "Not really."
When the scene flashed back to the room Jo and Dawn were in, Dawn said in a much quieter voice, "Well, why do you want to stop them? Them being friends should be a good thing, right?"
"Right, it should be," said Jo. "It should also give them a better opportunity to get us out!"
"I know, but having people by your side can help you succeed, right?"
"You know what else will help? Stopping whoever and whatever's in your way! Do you want a repeat of what happened last season?"
Dawn then looked at Jo nervously, recalling both her elimination at Scott's hands and her cooperation in removing him. Eventually, she sighed heavily and said, "Fine, I'll help you."
"That's what I thought," Jo said sternly before leaving to go back to the buffet.
After some time, Chris got on the intercom for his morning announcements. "Good morning, final fourteen!" He said, "As I'm sure you can predict from hearing my absolutely bodacious voice broadcasting to you all, it's time for today's challenge! Can I get a 'whoop whoop'?"
Five seconds passed as nobody said a word. The remaining competitors all just look unamused.
"Huh, tough crowd…" The intercom picked back up, with Chris sounding quite disgruntled, "Fine, whatever, eggheads. Just head on outside for more information."
While walking outside of the spa hotel, Justin saw a good opportunity to socialize with Alejandro since the both of them were on good terms. "So, are you ready for the challenge?" Justin asked the Arch-Villain.
"¡Si!" Alejandro proclaimed. "Maybe we should work together if we're able to?"
"If we can, we definitely will!" Justin affirmed. However, behind them, Jo revolted at the sight of them being friendly. She then took a deep breath, not wanting to look too suspicious with her teammates.
Once everyone arrived at the center of the Island, Duncan also walked in after returning from Boney Island. "Hey guys," he unenthusiastically said to his team.
"Uh, hi," Heather greeted the Delinquent.
"It's time for your next challenge!" Chris announced to the contestants. "As you can see by the egg our friend Owen is holding, today's event will involve finding eggs! Specifically, seven eggs that the mutant creatures left on the island before we got rid of them! Pretty self-explanatory. Whichever team finds the most eggs and brings them back here will win immunity! Also, since the Hamsters won last time, they get a hint for today's challenge!"
Chef handed a piece of paper to Brick, which said, "It never hurts to look up!"
"Huh, I wonder what that means…" said Brick.
"Aaaaaaaaaaand, begin!" Chris shouted as Chef shot a BB gun at the sky. "Man, why can't I do more stuff than stand on the sidelines and look pretty?" Chef complained.
The teams then left for the woods to look for the mutant eggs. With the Hamsters, Brick was still confused by what the hint meant, but he still hoped he could figure it out.
"Never hurts to look up, huh?" He said to himself as he re-read the note. "I'm still not sure what they mean by that!"
"Maybe the egg is hidden somewhere above ground, like in a tree!" Cameron pointed out.
"Great idea, private!" Brick proclaimed. He then pulled out a pair of binoculars and used them to search the nearby trees for the mutant egg. He searched across all the trees surrounding them, but to no avail.
"Wow, this egg's pretty hard to find!" Brick said to his teammates. "I wonder if that hint was even accurate…"
"Wait a minute, lemme see if I can find it." Gwen proposed. Brick then handed Gwen his binoculars, and she looked through them to find a dark green egg hidden away in a tree. "Found it!" she proclaimed.
"Oh, well, thanks for the help!" Brick said in a slightly embarrassed tone.
(Confessional: Brick)
"I want to be a sort of leader figure for my team, but am I doing a good job so far? Maybe I am, maybe I'm not, honestly, I'm not sure!" He rubbed the back of his head, looking side to side.
(End confessional)
Off-screen, Tyler volunteered to climb the tree to retrieve the egg. Gwen watched this with Brick's binoculars, as she asked her teammates, "You sure this was a good idea?"
"Hey, this seems like a good way for him to show us his skills!" Brick countered. Gwen shrugged and continued to watch Tyler as he reached where the egg was and picked it up. He briefly lost his grip on a branch and almost fell, but he quickly grabbed ahold of another branch before carefully placing the egg under his arm and slowly climbing back down.
"You got this, Tyler!" Lindsay cheered. Tyler glanced at her and smiled, before the branch he was holding onto snapped and he fell from the tree. Fortunately, he was close to the ground by that point, so the egg didn't break when he hit the ground.
"Oh my gosh!" cried Lindsay as she rushed towards her boyfriend. "Are you okay?"
"Maybe…" Tyler groaned. He eventually got up and stretched his back before returning the egg to where the hosts were.
"And the Heroic Hamsters are in the lead!" Chris announced.
On another part of the island, Jo heard the announcement and shrugged, saying to a nearby Dawn, "Well, the sooner we can get Al or Justin out, the better!"
"Um, Jo?" said Dawn. "I'm really starting to worry about being in this alliance with you. I mean, wasn't this the type of strategy Scott used?"
"Well, sort of?" Jo responded. "Listen, I'm trying to do more than just get rid of the people that can get us out later. I'm trying to get them out and win without drawing attention to myself! I mean, Scott, Lightning, and to an extent Courtney's eliminations all had to do with me, and barely anyone suspected any foul play!"
"Well, they do know that you framed Scott…" Dawn pointed out.
Jo stared blankly for a moment and said, "Well, yeah, sure, they know I got him out. But I did them all a favor! If he stayed, he would've steamrolled us!" She then kneeled down to Dawn's level. "Listen, Dawn," she said in a calm yet foreboding tone, "I don't need magic powers like yours to know that you're worried about working with me. But sometimes, if you wanna succeed, you gotta play dirty." She narrowed her eyes.
Dawn took a deep breath and asked, "Well, what should I do for you?"
"I knew you'd change your mind!" Jo enthused. "Now, I need you to spy on the boy-toys and relay the information to me." she explained, handing a walkie-talkie and a pair of binoculars to Dawn. "I'll try to do the challenge so I can stay inconspicuous. If anything goes wrong, just say you're birdwatching or something."
"As you wish, Johanna," Dawn responded. "I won't let you down."
"Awesome! See you later!" Jo said before leaving.
Meanwhile, Owen was weed whacking nearby when he noticed Alejandro and Justin, and decided to say hi to them after turning off the weed whacker. "Uhm, hey guys!" he said in his usual naïve inflection.
"What do you want from us?" Alejandro asked bitterly.
"Woah, I just wanted to say hi to you guys! I mean, you do seem to be cool with each other now!"
"Well, yeah, that's true," Justin added, "But wouldn't you normally be drooling over me? I mean, who wouldn't?" He flashed a smile, with the usual sparkle in his teeth.
"Anyways," he picked back up, "I mean, especially since you confirmed that you like guys just a few days ago?"
"Well, first off," Owen clarified, "That is true, although I personally prefer girls. Secondly, that probably would happen normally, but I guess there's just better looking people out there. Both male and female. I mean, Izzy is amazing…"
"Yes, I'm sure she is…" Alejandro stared blankly for a second and thought of something. "I wonder where she even went after yesterday's challenge…"
"Yeah I mean, she just kinda ran off, into the woods," Justin said blankley.
"Eh, her loss," Alejandro rudely chimed in.
"Okay, now you're just being mean," Owen pouted.
Back where everybody started, Chris and Chef sat back in their lounge chairs and watched as both teams hurried to find their eggs. Chris suddenly had a realization. "Hey, Chef," he started, "I was meaning to ask, um, whatever happened to Izzy?"
Chef stared blankly as the memories of every moment of his rivalry with the crazy girl came flooding back. Nonetheless, he just shrugged. "Eugh, at this point, who really cares about that whack job anymore?"
As it turned out, Izzy had decided to make camp in a cave where the two Vultures and the temporary intern were nearby. Sitting down against the cave wall, she was looking rather weary, very unlike her usually unorthodox self that everybody was used to. She peered outside of the entrance before crossing her legs.
Izzy felt a low, warm snarl blowing on her face. She turned her head, the bear from the very first season was curled up, sound asleep. They were sharing the cave as the crazy girl was hiding away from the law, and the two actually formed a rather strong bond very quickly while she was still on the island. Even Dawn would have been impressed.
Izzy smiled and gently petted the giant mammal as it slowly opened its eyes.
"Who's a good bear? Who's a good bear? Yes you are!"
The Psycho Hose Beast baby-talked the bear while continuing to rub its chest, as the large grizzly was rolling over and growling playfully.
After some time, she got up from petting the bear as it fell back asleep and began to head out of the cave.
"Alrighty now," Izzy said to herself, "I should probably head out of here now… Or, should I? I mean, the RCMP's still probably on my butt…"
She smacked herself on the head. "Ah, geez, I'm narrating to myself again!" she realized, before hearing some strange noises within the cave.
"Huh? What the heck was that?" The redhead psycho walked in the direction she was hearing this noise from, until she eventually discovered something that even made her shocked. "What the…"
(Confessional: Izzy)
"Okay, okay. I know I'm, like, the embodiment of craziness and all, but did I really just see what I just saw? Or was it seen? Or did I just like, forget to take my pills this morning? Wait, when was the last time I even took them?"
(End confessional)
Dawn soon sensed Alejandro and Justin's presence, mainly by hearing them talking not too far off, so she hid in a nearby bush and watched them with her binoculars.
"And that's why I think soccer is an overrated sport!" Alejandro told Justin.
"Huh, for someone who's apparently from Spain, that's an interesting take!" Justin complimented.
"Apparently?" Alejandro seemed somewhat offended, but remembered his conciliation with Justin, and kept his cool. "It's pretty big where I'm from in Madrid, yes, but I just never got into it like the other kids."
Eventually, the two discovered an egg poking out of the ground.
"Oh! Um, after you!" Justin proclaimed.
"No, after you, yo insisto!" Alejandro then said.
"Well, I was in this show before you, so I guess it makes sense," Justin decided as he and Alejandro dug the egg out of the ground with their hands.
Meanwhile, while Dawn was spying on them in the bush, she eventually heard Jo's voice from her walkie-talkie. "Alright, Dawn, what's going on?" she asked.
"Well, it looks like our targets found another mutant egg," Dawn explained. She looked through her binoculars again to see that Alejandro and Justin had fully excavated the egg, with the latter taking it back to Chris and Chef.
"ONE POINT FOR THE VULTURES!" Chris announced. "But seriously, though, can you guys pick up the pace or something?"
"Great…" Jo moaned, before noticing another member of her team, Anne Maria, nearby. "Uh, I mean, that's great! Heh heh…" she said, as to not seem suspicious.
Despite her efforts, this did not work. "Uh, who ya talkin' to?" a nearby Anne Maria asked.
"Uh, well, Dawn and I are, um, working together! We just split up to, you know, cover more ground!" Jo said nervously.
"Uh, huh… Eh, whatever," Anne Maria shrugged, before pulling out a can of hairspray and applying it to her hair.
(Confessional: Jo)
"Phew, that was close! Maybe a bit too close…"
(End confessional)
Duncan searched for an egg on his own, partially since he wanted to try and get his emotions straight during the challenge. He eventually came across the bush Dawn was hiding in, and he said to himself, "Maybe there's an egg in there!" He reached in to check, with Dawn becoming increasingly nervous, before he eventually put his hand on her head and pulled her out. Wanting to try and play it cool, she simply said, "Hello there!"
"Gah!" cried Duncan, flinching at Dawn and letting her go after pulling her out of the bush. "Don't scare me like that!"
"Sorry…" said Dawn. "Also, I believe you were looking for this?" She pulled out a mutant egg from the bush.
"Huh? So there was an egg in there?" Duncan asked. "Then… Why were you in there?"
"Uh, well, you see…" Dawn stammered nervously, trying not to seem suspicious, "I'm just… Birdwatching!" She looked through her binoculars again to see if her targets were in her area, although this just made Duncan even more suspicious, as he squinted.
"You're snooping on someone, aren't you?"
Knowing there was nowhere else to go, Dawn sighed and admitted to the Delinquent, "Yes, Jo wanted me to watch Alejandro and Justin since she wants to get one of them out tonight."
"Yeah, honestly, I feel kinda jealous of them," Duncan then explained, "Because even if they spent a couple days at each other's throats, they're really starting to hit it off! I wish I could've really been like that with a certain someone in the game…"
Duncan sat down next to Dawn, who put her hand on his back and said, "Duncan, if you show people the version of you that you think they would like, maybe they'd be more open to befriending you!"
"Yeah, you're right!" Duncan proclaimed. "I don't want to try to be some sort of goody-goody-two-shoes, but maybe if I just don't act like a total jerk all the time, then maybe more people would like me, I guess," he muttered.
"There you go, Duncan!" Dawn enthused. "You don't have to be perfect in order to be good!"
"Heh, thanks for the advice, I guess. I'll try and take it into consideration," Duncan said before leaving with the mutant egg in hand.
After Duncan returned the egg, Chris announced over the loudspeaker, "AND THE VULTURES HAVE TAKEN THE LEAD! I REPEAT, THE VULTURES ARE IN THE LEAD! HAMSTERS, IF YOU DON'T WANNA SEND ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR MEMBERS HOME TONIGHT, I SUGGEST GETTING YOUR BUTTS INTO HIGH GEAR!"
"You heard him, Hamsters!" Brick told his teammates. "We need to think of a strategy, and fast! Any ideas?"
"Ooh, I have an idea!" Mike enthused as he raised his hand.
"Great! What have you got?" Brick asked.
Mike pulled out a fedora and put it on his head, giving Manitoba control of his body. "You sure ya wanna do this, mate?" the Aussie alter asked.
"Hey, it worked in the second challenge, so it's bound to work here!" Mike explained inside his headspace.
"Alrighty roo!" Manitoba then began digging underground with his hands until running into a mutant egg, which he dug out of the ground and tossed to Brick.
"Nice work!" Brick proclaimed before taking the egg to the hosts. Mike/Manitoba dug a bit further, finding two more eggs in a bush and under a pile of mulch respectively. He then returned to his teammates, handing the eggs to Cameron and Zoey. "Thanks!" the latter beamed.
"TWO MORE EGGS TO GO!" Chris said over the loudspeaker. "WHO'S GONNA WIN THIS TIME?"
All the while, Owen was finally finished whacking weeds across the island, and he was exhausted. As he was catching his breath, he noticed one of his former teammates, Brick, and decided to go say hi to him.
"Hey, Brick!" The Funny Guy greeted enthusiastically, as he ran up to the Cadet. "How's the challenge going?"
"Well, it's running pretty smoothly for us," Brick explained, "But I'm just worried about how I'm doing as a leader for my team."
"What do you mean?" A confused Owen asked.
"You see, I want to try and be able to be a sort of leader or strategist for us, but I don't think I'm doing a very good job at it." Brick sighed before continuing, "I mean, I don't want to be too hard on everybody, but I do want to use the stuff I learned from my time in the military to help us out in challenges."
"Oh, you'll be okay, man!" Owen said as he put his hand on the Military Cadet's shoulder. "You don't really have to be a leader anyway! Just some of those occasional strategies should be able to work pretty well!"
"Heh, well, thanks," Brick beamed, "I'll be sure to take your advice to heart, soldier." Owen then proceeded to give a military salute to Brick, which the latter returned before continuing his search for another mutant egg.
Owen felt his eyes starting to get droopy. "Now, where was I? Oh, yeah, I need some rest. I like being an intern, but all these duties can really take a toll on a guy…"
But right as Owen sat down under a tree to take a nap, he was greeted by a familiar face running towards him, which was none other than a shook-up, out of breath Izzy. She put her hand against the tree, panting.
"Wow, did I really just see that?" She said panickingly before looking up and noticing her ex-boyfriend, which made her snap out of her shocked state of emotions. "Owen?"
Owen woke up surprised to see her and said, "Izzy! Why do you look like you just saw something so crazy that it's hard for you to describe what it was?"
"Because I just did," Izzy responded nonchalantly. "I mean, it kinda looked familiar to me for whatever reason, but I don't know for sure, since, you know, I don't really remember anything, right? Except for the fact that the RCMP still wants my head, yeah, so I've been hiding out in the cave where I made a new friend with the bear! He's really nice, by the way! Well, once you get to know him, uh-huh. I named him Explosivoso! Get it? Because "oso" is Spanish for bear, and I'm Explosivo. Yeah, hahaha! Eh, I'm sure someone else might run into him before too long."
There was a brief pause.
"Uhhhh, by the way, didn't you say that I broke up with you a few days ago?"
"Uhm, yeah, because you did," Owen sulked.
"Well, I still don't remember that happening since I hit my head pretty hard…" Izzy explained. "But you're still pretty cool!"
"Heh heh, thanks, you are too," said Owen, blushing. "You'll probably remember everything eventually."
Izzy then got up from where she was sitting near Owen and told him, "Well, I'm gonna go do what I'd normally do around this time, so I'll see you around, Big O!" before she left to go deeper into the forest, with Owen smiling as she left.
(Confessional: Owen)
"Woohoo! We still have a chance!"
(End confessional)
Out on the waterfront, Alejandro and Justin had unearthed the last two eggs from the sand; one was dark green while the other was red. "The way things are looking at the moment," said the Arch-Villain, "It'll be us!"
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" the Eye Candy enthused.
In the nearby forest, Dawn snuck through the trees to try and watch the two boys without being seen. She soon rested on a good-sized branch, the Moonchild took no pleasure in doing the orders she was given. She sighed and thought to herself, "Oh, Mother Earth! This is so wrong, but I can't let Jo down!"
Coincidentally enough, the girl she was talking about was about to walk right under the tree. Dawn spotted her, but she suddenly felt an alarming jerk beneath her. The branch she was perched up upon started to audibly and visibly crack.
"Oh, no!" Dawn went, albeit quietly. The next thing she knew, the branch gave away, and she shouted as she fell several feet from the ground, and Jo was right under her. Jo looked up in shock as Dawn came crashing down on top of her, not before the large branch clunked her in the head.
Dawn groaned before she slowly got up from on top of Jo. The latter rubbed her head before exclaiming, "Hey! I didn't think I'd see you until the challenge was done! Have you been doing what I told you to do?"
"Yes, and it seems Alejandro and Justin might win the challenge for us," Dawn explained as she handed Jo her binoculars. Still laying on the ground, Jo looked through them and, sure enough, she saw Alejandro and Justin taking the eggs to the hosts. The Jockette gasped.
"Crap! How are we gonna stop them?" Jo asked quietly, as to not be heard.
Back near the baskets, Lindsay and Tyler were searching for the last two eggs while conversing.
"And that's how I accidentally lit my grandma's house on fire," Lindsay was in the middle of explaining.
"Wait, didn't you say you did that twice?" Tyler asked, slightly confused.
"Uh, yeah, that was the first time, silly!" the Dumb Princess clarified.
Before she knew it, however, Alejandro and Justin crashed into her, with the eggs falling out of their hands and landing in Tyler's. "Ow!" The three of them cried.
"Oh, forgive us, Lindsay! We didn't know you were here," Alejandro said politely.
"Uh, yeah, consider it forgiven, I guess," Lindsay said nervously as she signaled for Tyler to give the eggs to the hosts. Before too long, however, Justin realized something wasn't right and said, "Wait a minute…"
But it was too late for them to do anything, and Tyler knew this, too. He shut his eyes and cried out, "Hail Mary!!" as he threw both eggs into Chef's hands like a football player. "And it looks like that touchdown from Tyler made his team triumphant tonight!" Chris alliterated.
"Hang on, I won for my team?" Tyler asked, surprised.
"Yeah dude, you won."
"No way… I WON!!!"
Tyler started jumping up and down gleefully. Lindsay rushed up to Tyler and gave him a kiss on his lips. After which, she said, "Great job, babe!"
"Heh heh, thanks, Linds!" Tyler said, flattered by his girlfriend's affection, before the two started making out.
Nearby, Chef asked Chris, "I always wondered why you decided to bring him into this…"
"We already had a lot of the game's best players, so obviously we were gonna have at least one weird choice!" Chris explained. "I mean, Sam did almost make the cut, remember?"
"I still don't get you sometimes, man," Chef said before walking off.
About an hour or so after the challenge, the Vultures had settled into the Spa Hotel and were relaxing before the elimination. Before too long, however, Jo stormed up to Justin and said, "I need to talk to you outside. Now."
Justin looked very nervous.
(Confessional: Justin)
"This isn't gonna end well, I just know it."
(End confessional)
Once the two were outside, Justin asked the Jockette, "So, what do you want?"
In response, Jo slapped Justin across his face. "What I want is to get a good explanation of why you pulled a Cameron on me!" she fumed.
"Hey, listen, I know it looks bad, but I think working with Alejandro could really benefit us!" Justin explained panickingly.
"The only thing he'll help us to do is get eliminated!" Jo shouted, "And from the way things are looking, you really must not want to win!"
Back inside the cabin, Duncan peered through the window to see what was going on. "Looks like somebody's not happy," he said to his teammates.
"Huh, I wonder why…" Heather pondered.
"Well, from what I can gather," Dawn promptly explained, "Jo is mad at Justin since he and Alejandro lost the challenge for our team today."
"Pfft, well, that's a bit weird. I mean, if I were her, I'd probably be mad at both of them!" Heather asked.
"Wait a second," a confused Alejandro blurted, "I thought you said you still love me!"
"Well, yeah…? Look, I do like you and all, but I think it might get in the way of the game… So, I don't know, maybe we can, like, get coffee or something once this is all over?"
"Fine by me… I-I suppose."
"But going back on what Heather said earlier," Duncan then said, "It is kinda weird how Jo's just mad at Justin. Maybe he screwed up more or something?"
Before too long, however, Jo and Justin came back in, with Justin looking nervous and Jo looking extra aggravated.
"Uh, what happened out there?" Duncan asked.
"Well, Boy Toys 1 and 2 messed up the challenge for us, so you can make of that what you will." said Jo. Both Alejandro and Justin sat on top of their beds, hanging their heads in shame.
Later that night, before the Heroes' elimination ceremony started, Dawn walked up to Zoey and said to her, "Uhm, Zoey? Can I tell you something before the elimination?"
"Sure! What's up?" Zoey asked. Dawn then whispered something unintelligible into Zoey's ear, with her saying between sentences, "Uh-huh… Yeah… Really?… Well… Alright then!"
Both Dawn and Zoey went to the elimination area, with Zoey stopping at the peanut gallery to talk to her teammates.
"I'll be going to Boney Island tonight!" she proclaimed. "If that's okay with everyone…"
"Uhm, yeah, sure!" Mike said with nervous enthusiasm.
"Just be careful!" Cameron worried.
"And once again, the cycle of which team loses continues!" Chris explained as everyone settled in. "But whatever, you all know the drill, so let's do this! The following Vultures are safe for now…" As Chris announced who was safe, he would throw them a marshmallow. "Heather, Duncan, Anne Maria, Dawn, and Jo!"
"What!?" cried Alejandro. "We're in the bottom two? AND after we finally made amends?"
"Yeah, well, messing up the challenge thanks to an athlete who doesn't know what a T-bar is can do that to ya!" Chris mocked. "But the one of you going home tonight is…" Both Alejandro and Justin looked at each other nervously, while Jo smirked from the sideline.

"Justin!"
"What? Why me?" Justin cried out in shock.
"Well, it's not like I wanted either of you here," Jo explained, "But in case you forgot, we were in an alliance! And if you know me, which I don't really think you do, you'd know that I hate, I HATE, being double-crossed!"
"Wait, you two were in an alliance?" asked a confused Alejandro. "How come you never told me this during the challenge?"
"I guess I just forgot. My bad," Justin said remorsefully.
"Oh yeah, that reminds me," Jo continued, "Alejandro may be sneaky, but he's smart, and he's a pretty valuable asset to our team! You, on the other hand, while you're no Lightning, you're certainly no Cameron either!"
"Hey, my intelligence is perfectly average, thank you very much!" Justin snapped.
"What's the capital of Canada then, beauty bore?"
"What!? I don't know that!".
"Alright, I'd love to see this continue," Chris interrupted, "But we've gotta wrap this episode up now, so, CHEF!"
Chef then walked up to Justin and firmly grabbed onto his arm, dragging him to the Sling of Shame. "Hey, wait!" he cried, "I wasn't done insulting Jo!"
"Ya still gotta go, man," Chef explained as he dropped Justin into the slingshot.
"Whatever, it's not like I needed this show anyway!" whined Justin. He then paused for a moment and said, "Although I do think I need to see my dermatologist again at some point…"
And before he could say anything else, Justin was launched off into the horizon, screaming until he could no longer be heard or seen. Chris then turned towards the camera and said, "Looks like the game's getting a lot uglier now!"
"Indeed it is…" Alejandro snarled as he gave Jo a dirty look.
Chris continued his narration, saying, "So, seven heroes and six villains remain! Who's next to be launched into the sky? And who'll get closer to the million-dollar prize? Find out next time on Total! Drama! All-Stars!"

NOTES FROM AUTHOR:
Another chapter done, another long wait to get it! While I am currently on summer vacation, hobbies and my YouTube channel (also named Isaacarthy, go subscribe to it) have become my primary focus, even if I am still planning to keep making new episodes/chapters regularly, so don't worry about that.
Anyways, for this episode, I wanted to get more into the nitty-gritty of Jo's character and her alliance with Dawn (and also the latter being hesitant about the alliance in the first place). I also want this to serve as a gateway for later development with Jo, as I plan to have her be a lot less overly-malicious as previous antagonists like Alejandro and Scott, since she'll be less of a master manipulator and more of an arrogant bully who's kinda good at guilt-tripping people, and this will continue to play into her arc throughout the season as well as her interactions with other contestants besides Dawn.
In addition, this is the first episode of Dawn on the Villainous Vultures and Gwen on the Heroic Hamsters! I can definitely see more growth being able to be done with them on these new teams, both with Dawn's alliance with Jo and another subplot I plan to develop more about Gwen becoming close friends with Zoey. I can't wait to show you all more of this stuff soon!
Anyways, thanks for reading this chapter and thanks for waiting so long, and stay tuned for what I have in store!
