Episode #52 - Zephyrus Mech Hero Akira Konoe
What happened last time was still bad and sad at the same time. Konoe's trauma happened when he murder his own father, after trying to kill his only son to murder his mother to get the money about twenty years ago. Man, that's mess up! Learning of it at his childhood home to make it looks like a break in to stopping his Lock Keeper; to finally have Akechi move on from his past to be happy he really didn't turn out to be like Konoe at all since he has love, friends, and another good family who took him in. With some help from Loki too...Now the Phantom Thieves have to send out the Calling Card next for them to do it 'somehow'; Keiko/Joker, Morgana/Mona, Ryuji/Skull, Ann/Panther, Yusuke/Fox, Makoto/Queen, Futaba/Oracle, Haru/Noir, Akechi/Black Crow, Sophia/Sophie, Zen/Wolf, and Raiho come back to the real world of their RV to think of something good. Well, for the detective and the cop go to take care of something to come back in a big and then stop Kano to free Kaguya and Picaro's bodies next for their souls to return; along with the last medallion to get, the wilder of the weapon, and Pandora's Box afterwards along with the master mind since Konoe's not the one but still committing a crime.
Keiko: Let's talk. Akechi-Cun and Zenny are taking care of something to come back in a bit. We can put our brains together on something to do, then make a move tomorrow. Anyone got a plan?
This might be a bit harder on how to send the Calling Card to Konoe than Shido and Alice were.
Morgana: So about the calling card...Madame Keiko has a very good point, how exactly do we wanna do this?
Ann: We need a place where we know Konoe'll see it...
Haru: What about sending it to his company?
It wouldn't work so well even if they try.
Makoto: The police will probably be crawling all over the place. It's too dangerous.
Morgana: After all that stuff he said about us on TV, I'd really like to stick it to him good, give him something he'll remember...
Keiko: Hmm... (This is hard to think.) Should we hijack the TVs? Maybe another newscast? Sorry, it's hard to plan on these things sometimes.

Ryuji: We could always try pullin' a repeat of Shibuya...Huh? Where'd Gramps go? I know Akechi went to take care of something...
Keiko: He went with Zenny.
Futaba: Just like Big Sis said. He said he had something to take care of. Zenkichi's probably with Akane too with Akechi, a family bonding more and more.
Detective's work to a father making sure his daughter was doing well was just fine with them.
Makoto: Let's just leave them be for now.
Ann: All right, well, maybe we save the calling card planning for tomorrow, then?
Yeah, it was probably for the best.
Ryuji: How come?
Ann: I mean, you know, 'cause Zenkichi's part of the team now, isn't he? Akechi is too. I feel like he'd be missing out if he wasn't here for his first calling card the most. Plus, he's kinda got a lot invested in the this after everything that happened to Akane.
Keiko: Yes, Zen is Akechi's real father he took in.
Morgana: That's true. All signs point to Konoe being the one who turned Akane into a Monarch. Akechi and Zenkichi's definitively got a bone to pick with him.
And what Konoe did there was a very bad thing he has ever done.
Keiko: That's true, I agree. I'm sure it'll be fine.
Ryuji: Yeah, probably, but I'm kinda curious to see what calling card Gramps comes up with.
Ann: Me too...Not bad, Ryuji, good thinking.
Cute couple for them along with Makoto and Yusuke still.
Keiko: I think for Zenny to help us and Akechi's to back his father up, would do wonders.
Haru: All right, we'll figure out the calling card tomorrow.
Morgana: It's been one intense fight after another, so let's get some rest and get back to it bright and early.

Ann: ...Hey, is it just me, or has Yusuke not said a word since we bot back?
Yusuke: ...Zzz...
That was only because he was sleeping while lying on the RV side.
Futaba: Wow...Out cold and still standing...

Good enough to all get some sleep for the night, with Akechi and Zen seeing Akane to head back to Osaka to meet with a certain someone.

It was there for Miyako was looking over the bridge to think about something big on what's been happening lately, then she's a lot smarter than she's been acting up lately.
Miyako: ...
Soon to have Akechi and Zen who wanted to meet up with her.
Zen: ...Commissioner Kaburagi.
Miyako: You look better than I thought you would. And Akechi-san, I'm surprise to see you again.
Akechi: It's because on what you were doing was wrong, and I wanted to prove you wrong.
Miyako: Really? How'd it feel being on the other side of an interrogation for once, Zenkichi?
He's been through worse before, but Zen was fine. All he could do about that question was to laugh.
Zen: Haha...I managed to pull through. Guess I'm getting a little old for this, huh?
Akechi: You're just the type who'll never give up at all.
Zen: Yeah, yeah, Goro. I get it. More importantly, though, I heard something interesting from the Niijima lawyer. She told me the reason she was able to get me out was because she had help from a certain someone.
Akechi: That's Sae-san to you. A good teacher and dear partner of mine, and she wasn't the only one.
Oh, must've been more help on Miyako's help too besides Sae.
Miyako: ...I haven't a clue what you're talking about.
Akechi: I see... (So she did help us out, Kaburagi's not as bad as we both thought.)
Keeping that part aside for now...
Miyako: Anyhow, did you two have business with me?
Akechi: We do, please hear us out first.
Bowing to her, the boys get down to business.
Zen: Commissioner, we'd like you to help us. We're going to arrest Owada.
Akechi: And Kano Guru who's the Hooded Man from the event both he and Shuzo worked on the Case of the Greek Roman. Please, it had something to do with my Mother's death in how Shido did it all. With back up.
Zen: Goro's right, Commissioner. Konoe's been behind the scenes with each and every Change of Hearts case. Akira Konoe is the one who commits the crimes, while Owada sits back and capitalizes on them. They plan to cover up the truth by putting all the blame on the Phantom Thieves.
Akechi: But they're all innocence since I've been working for them and they work for me too! Kano has connection to those two, it's because of Shido's doing for him to get those men to go this far deep to the edge.
Zen: I also think they've even changed the hearts of some of us on the force, and I'm talkin' pretty high up the chain of command.
Hearing the two men loud and clear, Miyako seems to believe in them more and more now.
Miyako: ...
Akechi: That's why you need to believe in us, I know y ou do.
Zen: If we don't act now, we'll never be able to stop them. Please, Commissioner, I can't do this without you.
Akechi: Same with me either.
The more help, the better. Since Miyako helped out secretly to help out like Sae was on her end too.
Miyako: Do any one of you have any evidence to bring Owada in?
Akechi: The only way to get to Owada and his girlfriend is through Konoe.
They have to change his heart to make Konoe say it on live TV once the change of heart happens.
Zen: It's the only way. We're on the verge of getting Konoe to confess. If we do that, we can expose all of Owada's crimes.
Miyako: You really think Konoe will talk?
Zen: He'll crack. I know he will.
A lot for her to believe in the Phantom Thieves no more than ever.
Miyako: How can any of you boys be so sure? Are you planning to use the Phantom Thieves to change his heart?
Zen: Sorry, but...I just can't tell you.
Akechi: Not yet, but you must trust in our words for now.
It should be enough to believe in them both.
Zen: Commissioner Kaburagi, do you remember what you said to me back when Aoi died? You told me you would cleanse this whole rotten organization someday, and that I just had to wait for the right time.
Akechi: That time is now. For my step-mother's sake, my real one, Akane, my other two half sisters, Shuzo, and those who have fallen victim. Please. I...Master...We need your help!
Hearing them to be truthful, Miyako's final decision was this...
Miyako: ...Not bad, Akechi. And you've changed, Hasegawa. Well, you both have. You're little stunt cost me my chance at Senior Commissioner. From you aiding your step-son to solve a case to work for the Phantom Thieves of all people. Even my current title is in a state of uncertainly. I need to do something to restore my credibility.
Akechi: You mean...? (I don't believe it, Kaburagi already knows.)
Miyako: I take it not only your mother has connections to the case with your sisters, Akechi-san, so does the Guyver twins who are still on the run?
Akechi: ...! Yes, they are.
Miyako: Dr. Guru is a madman who shouldn't be trusted at all. If I wanted to, I could serve all of you up to Owada on a silver platter, and he'd owe me everything for it. Did that ever occur to you both?
Akechi: Nope, otherwise you would've reported us to the other cops by now.
And she didn't, meaning Miyako sees the truth with her own eyes.
Zen: Your sense of justice would never allow it.
This has her smiling a lot more than ever.
Miyako: ...My, my...You two have three days. If you say you can do it, then by all means, make it happen. Konoe, Owada along with his girlfriend, Dr. Guru, and those kids. Do what needs to be done.
Akechi: Three days...? Yes! For some to be done first, we'll give you three days.
That was very good news to hear.
Zen: Thank you, ma'am!
Miyako: And I'll give back your badge as well, Hasegawa.
Looks like Zen is a Phantom Thief and still a cop to get back his badge thanks to Miyako's help, this also has Akechi very happy to see.
Akechi: Well done, Master. (She's like Sae, those two have the same goals to change a lot for the better.)
Zen: A-Are you sure?
Akechi: Nonsense, she's fine with it. Now take what belongs to you.
And so he does with one more thing in mind to be well prepare for.
Miyako: Fair warning, if you screw this up, I'll recovering my own safety above all else. Akechi-san, don't let your father make the same mistake to be a major one twice on me. No second chances. Do you two hear me?
Akechi: Ah, yes! Yes, Commissioner! Leave this to us. Thank you.
Zen: I won't forget this, Commissioner! We're on it! Goro, let's get going!
Akechi: Right! (None of us won't let you down.)
Taking off, the other officer who was spying on Zen the most and Akechi makes sure they were given the okay to go.
Authoritative Man: Shall I follow them, ma'am? I'm worried about Hasegawa more than Akechi-san.
Miyako: Forget it. They'll just throw you off. Actually, I have a more pressing task for you. I want you to find out everything you can about the Commissioner General. As well as everything about Dr. Guru, Guyvers, and Akechi-san's half sisters.
A big task to take on.
Authoritative Man: The Commissioner General, ma'am?! And the wanted man in questioning of murdering Shuzo himself? The Dr. Guru?!
Miyako: I'm not one to pull punches. Never have been, never will be. And Akechi-san, I want to help him. I want to know who the other two girls with his mother really were.
And a lot more to find for later, leaving Loki to do something along with the Guyver twins having an idea in mind.
Ellen: Brother...
Hans: I want to have the date with the female Phantom Thieves again.
Ellen: Hey-! Oh, you have an idea. Then we'll talk to them and check on Morgana tomorrow. It's not a date.
Hans: Oh, silly Dear Sister. I still love the pretty ladies, but I never bad down from a fight. Dr. Guru's going down next after we dealt with his dummy, Akira Konoe.
Joking aside there, that sounds like a plan there. Meanwhile...

With Konoe in his office to be talking to Owada to use him a bit more, but Kano warns him as a back up plan to still have his Jail soon enough. Either way, this madman will do anything to hide his and his woman's crimes. Those two are a piece of work, and Kano's still worse!
[Owada: So you're sure the Phantom Thieves have been dealt with, yes?]
Konoe: Yes, they're being held in the Jail as we speak. I've got EMMA keeping an eye on them.
Or so he thinks...And yeah, EMMA should've told Konoe about their escape right now, shouldn't it...?
[Owada: Well done, Mr. Konoe. There really is nothing that can stand up to you and that AI of yours.]
Konoe: Please, none of this would've been possible without your assistance, sir. EMMA will show us the way forward.
He's only saying that to use Owada's work to keep Konoe going without getting caught.
[Owada: Now, I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but what say we have a celebration of sorts? I'll go ahead and reserve us someplace nice. I think you're in for a real treat. Hahaha.]

Hanging up now, for Kano hearing the whole thing on Owada's end.
Owada: All good now. Ah, baby...Nothing will separate us now.
Holding his woman in the shadows, while Kano had other plans in mind with Kaguya and Picaro empty shell of their Persona bodies.

Owada: Thank you again, Dr. Guru, you're a real life saver.
Kano: Whatever, I have what I need for now...My true love will soon come back to me.

Konoe: ...Filth. Flapping those fat jowls of his. Roaches like him are the very reason why this world needs someone to enact justice.
[EMMA: You are absolutely right, Akira.]
Konoe: We'll have to hurry with making Operation Oraculi a reality. More importantly, how are things in the Kyoto Jail?
Seems to tell this guy all was good, either that or EMMA was really losing it.
[EMMA: No issue to report. The Phantom Thieves are still under confinement.]
Konoe: Very well...And just so we're clear, there's no way to change their hearts, is that correct?
[EMMA: That is correct, Akira. It is impossible.]

Konoe: Well, if you say so, it must be. We'll just have to let them rot, won't we? Now, to wrap this up. At this point, nothing can stand in my way. I'll take over this entire country-no, the whole world.
Wait until he gets the news of the Calling Card set up by the Phantom Thieves real soon, his reaction will be priceless.
8 - August/26th/Saturday (Osaka)
It was finally morning with the Phantom Thieves getting together from outside a motel building and where the RV was parked at. With Keiko, Akechi, Morgana, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, Haru, Zen, and both Sophia and Raiho on the cell phone were gathered to think of this plan...How to send out the Calling Card to Konoe himself?
Akechi: And now we've gathered here to begin our operation.
Zen: Seems like it. So I heard you guys were waiting for Goro and me to get back? You guys're surprisingly particular, you know?
Good thing Akechi could already tell what it was.
Akechi: This one sounds important. (A Callin Card with Master by our side, this is great.)
Ryuji: It's the first calling card we're sendin' out since you joined. Figured you'd wanna be there for it.
Zen: Well, it's not like I haven't helped out with one already. It doesn't seem like that big a deal...
Yeah, but getting the Calling Card out will be a different story.
Makoto: That's why we have a little proposal for you. Why don't you write this one, Zenkichi-San?
Akechi: Ah...Good idea.
First time for Zen to do so, this was shocking to this guy.
Zen: Me?! But I've never written one before! Goro, help me out here.
Keiko: I get shy when doing this all the time too, Zenny.
Akechi: *chuckle! What? You'll do fine.
For Raiho to cheer Zen on from the phone screen.
Keiko: It's the first time for everything. It's a new experience for you too. So please Zenny, channel your fury.
Yusuke: Yes, remember what Konoe did to Akane. You simply need to express your rage.
Zen: Well, it's true he does have to answer for that...

Ryuji: All right, that takes care of the calling card. Now we just gotta figure out how to send it.

Akechi: Has anyone come up with an idea yet on how to send the Calling Card?
Keiko: That's sort of the problem we're all trying to come up with.

Morgana: If he's so comfortable badmouthing us on TV, maybe it's time we gave him a taste of his own medicine.
Futaba: Copy the enemy's stats? Hmmm...
How can someone do that without getting caught?

Futaba: Hrmm, we need more impact.
Haru: Could we just hand-deliver it, maybe?
No, it wouldn't work to maybe get caught big time if they tries.
Akechi: No, it's too risky.
Futaba: If we wanna get arrested, yeah...
Keiko: Anyone got a plan "b" yet?

Keiko: Ah...No TV idea or online broadcasting...They're all missing something...

Morgana: Hmm...I don't know. I'm not sensing a clear winner here.
Just then, Ann spotted something from above the clouds of the skies.
Ann: Hey, guys, check it out.
A big blimp like from Konoe Shadow's Jail was and what they all were riding on.
Makoto: Is that a...blimp?
Keiko: We rode in one, and seeing it more back in the real world.
Haru: You don't see them very often nowadays.
[Sophia: That's the Regenbogen. It's the only airship in Japan that's currently in service. It seems it's being used to advertise EMMA for Madicce at the moment.]
For Raiho to see it more of the camera viewing point. Still, there was something about the blimp that catches their attentions.
Yusuke: For Madicce?
Akechi: Like a big advertisement thing?
[Sophia: Apparently, it circles Osaka's airspace every day.]
It does to always be shown with the screen of the commercial type of things.
Ann: Hmm, every day?
Akechi: ...Wait. That's it!
Now they got a back up plan which might work.
Ryuji: Yu thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?
Keiko: I think all of us do.
Futaba: Mwehehe! Way ahead of you!
Akechi: Then I say we get some help. We get to Owada by getting Konoe first. And then stopping Dr. Guru to get to my sisters next. But we can't do this alone...
A few ideas to pull this calling card off, one has Loki to unlocking the Jail hidden room to enter into next to aid a path to be ready when stopping Konoe's Shadow in a bit.
Loki: Fine, I'm getting close myself. One path open and the rest on their own...I need to finish this as well.
One down, and another part to do back in the real world.
Morgana: We're finally at the end. This will most likely be the last calling card we ever send. As always, once we've sent the calling card, we'll be putting the plan into motion. There's also a good chance we'll be going up against Konoe. Madame Keiko, let's make sure we're fully prepared, then we'll send out the calling card.
Keiko: An this is why we need your help, Guyvers.
Looks like Hans and Ellen had the same thing in mind, they knew they would contact them for their help.
Ellen: Morgana, hi...
Morgana: Hey! Take this seriously!
Loving the cute things, it was time to get down to business here.
Ellen: What? We know. You want for Brother and me to enter in the blimp for Futaba and Sophia to hack through this special Calling Card to be spread all over Osaka and Zenkichi to read it for the crowd, right?
Hans: We thought you would call for us. So here we are, ladies.
Akechi: Not now please...
Not to flirt around, they know the real deal.
Keiko: He's right. Hans. Ellen. Please. Our plan is this...You two will fly up to the blimp with your magic to get inside of the machine, allowing for both Futaba and Sophia to hack through. Then through it, Zenny writes the Calling Card with the parts we all say on it with Zenny's lines the most for others to hear us loud and clear. So once everyone sees this and Konoe the most, then we enter back inside his Jail to fight, stop the Gegasites, and Desires to return to everyone. Simple! We'll fight him in battle. While that's going on, Loki is unlocking the path for us as well as getting close about his family; which leads you guys to help us locate both Pandora's Box weapon and the wielder as a team to make a good change of the world by keeping it safe, lease trust us. Afterwards, Zenny and Akechi will have their boss and them arrest Konoe, Owada with his girlfriend, shut down the company of Madicce and EMMA for god. Afterwards, we'll stop Kano for good. We get back Aika and Hitomi's souls into their rightful bodies before the doctor does something worse, along with finding out Sophia's memories later on. Our deal is, help us, help you, help each other. Let's make a deal, right here and now.
All set up to do so, they were in.
Hans: Ah, a deal of your and our together...? I like it. Lovely and clever. Very well, Keiko, anything for you and...our friends. You guys are all right.
Akechi: Now that's what I wanted to hear.
Ellen: If it's for us to make a change differently than the weapon to not fall in the bastard's hands, then hell yes! I'm in! To also protect cute things like Morgana and others. I don't see why now. I already like you guys way too much.
Keiko: Thank you. We're all set to carry out the plan then.
As Raiho using some ice to freeze up the Sentries and Shadows of those who won't be in the way...The rest of the plan will be carried out now.
Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, and Haru: Let's do this!
[Sophia: I'm ready.]
Zen: I'll do my best.
Akechi: Both Raiho and Loki are both ready too.
Futaba: I'm ready as everyone else will be.
Hans and Ellen: We got a deal then.

Keiko: Good, then let's get to it...Ah, Morgana, I know you're ready too, right?
Morgana: Yeah, but...I just have one thing to ask. Just one. If I were a cat...WHY DO HUMANS PINCH THEIR FACES SO HARD!?
Akechi: It can be painful sometimes. Sorry, Morgana. Hahaha...
Well, Ellen didn't mean to on Morgana in his cat form and Futaba just fools around only. So yeah...Now tonight the plan goes to action.
Yusuke: We must prepare a suitable calling card. Have you thought of what to write, Zenkichi?
Zen: ...That's what Im trying to figure out right now. Goro gave me some advice just a little...
Akechi: I just told him to think within his heart is all.
Really though, there was nothing to it.
Zen: That's it? Man, don't blame me if this sounds weird...Just remember, you ask for this, okay? And Guyvers, don't let us down.
They got everything covered, they each made a deal after all.
Hans and Ellen: We're on it!
Futaba: After all that crap he put Akane through and getting through Akechi's PTSD, we gotta make this count. Put him on blast!
This will all cost one big finale.
Morgana: Delivering the calling card is just the beginning. We're counting on you to help us finish the job, Zenkichi.
Zen: Yeah, I'll bet...You guys are real slave drivers, you know that?
Keiko: And now we wait.
It begins...Loki unlocks the door to look more evidences back at Konoe Shadow's Jail. With Raiho was getting ready for Lava and his family to wish him the best of luck, Hans and Ellen go into the blimp to start off the hacking. As Futaba and Sophia starts the rest, the others were ready to say their lines...Zen the most on what he writes on the Calling Card.
That night...
That night to be relaxing in town, had a male and female laughing and talking together, something comes falling out of the skies to be "one" of the Calling Cards. Huh?
Man: A Calling Card?
Woman: Is it?
Seeing it more up close...
Man: Wait. Isn't this-?!
Woman: "Phantom Thieves"? Is that actually real?
Soon to see tons of Calling Cards falling out of the sky 'to be coming out of the blimp by the Guyver twins doing, the rest was hack to hear some voices out of there.
Hans: I'm ready whenever you are.
Ellen: Lights! Camera! Action!
It begins now...
[Oracle: Testing one two, one two. Okay, looks like we're live.]
Lots of background to be going on in between...
[Wolf: So I just talk into this?]
[Oracle: You're on, man! Just say it.]
Clearing his throat to do what needs to be done.
[Wolf: OK. Are you listening, Konoe? Toying with innocent lives, slandering us, you've been busy, but so have we. Now it's payback time. Ready or not...here we come!]
Nice one, Zen. For others to hear and see the rest on the big screen too and see more Calling Cards falling down.
[Panther: To the villain who thinks he's hero, Akira Konoe.]
[Noir: You stole the Desires of countless people.]
[Skull: And tonight, we're baking them back...! I mean taking them back!]
Wow, he screw of the part there.
[Oracle: Skull! You had one line!]

[Panther: Yeah, right...]
As the blimp flies off further, one more was added in to have Ellen and Hans to leave in between the announcement.
[Black Crow: If I were you, check the message you'll be getting from our Calling Card to you.]
While back at the Madicce headquarters, Konoe now knows of the Phantom Thieves getting out of the other Jail in Kyoto, so now he was caught and surprised about all of this, and reads the calling card from his cell phone email.
Konoe: The Phantom Thieves...?! Impossible! "To the criminal tyrant masquerading as a hero, Sir Akira Konoe... (All subsequent references will henceforth be shortened to 'Party A') Part A has wronged multiple innocents by flaunting a false sense of justice and shifting the blame for the murder by Dr. Guru's doing from his own employees. On top of that, Party A is also guilty of wrongfully imprisoning a group of minors. Therefore, in addition to putting out a formal warrant of arrest for Party A's crimes...Tonight, the Phantom Thieves will commit some larceny of their own, and take back every Desire you've stolen." Is this some kind of joke?! EMMA, what the hell is going on?! I thought we'd trapped them in the Jail!
No responding well at all on EMMA's end, and Konoe made some changes on Kuon's creation.
[EMMA: Unable to answer. Please ask a different question.]
Konoe: A diff...Don't give me that, EMMA! I'm your master! Now answer me, dammit!
Well, it doesn't seem to want to hear anymore from Konoe to be EMMA's master or not.

Konoe: God dammit!
Angry to throw his phone to the ground to be stuck now.
Konoe: You think you can change my heart? You wretched little urchins...I won't be defeated so easily.
Then showing his Shadow self in some robotic armor suit on.
Konoe Shadow: Taking back the Desires? You think you can steal from me? Fools...I am the very hero these people have been praying for. The Phantom Thieves are the evil that stands in the way of that. Come, then! Let's see who changed who!
Message delivered to have the Guyver twins go to the Jail first.
Hans and Ellen: Let's do this.
I think those two are becoming like the Phantom Thieves were, huh? As back the RV of their Calling Card to Konoe was a huge victory for them so far. It was working so far.

Konoe Shadow: I change hearts in order to exterminate the evils of this world. Are we not essentially the same? I'm simply introducing a system to keep things in order. And by creating Monarchs, I'm ensuring everything plays out according to plan.
Morgana: What are you talking about...?
This even has Raiho very confused.
Konoe Shadow: When the cognitive world revealed itself to me, I took it as an act of divine revelation. It was my birthright to change this godforsaken planet. I must get the weapon, Pandora's Box to keep the world in balance for me to change it regularly, not by force. Don't you all get it? With the cognitive world in my grasp, I could wipe all evil from the face of the earth. I would not waste such an incredible gift. But in order to see that dream realized, I needed a world that could be controlled.
Futaba: Controlled? What do you mean?
Akechi: And you don't want to control Pandora's Box?
Seems like he was the opposite of a villain to be a true hero. Well, he really wasn't. What this guy was saying was all wrong!
Konoe Shadow: I needed a world that would allow me to erase even the slightest traces of evil from people's subconscious minds. To that end, I required something that could reach everyone and bring them to submission. Yes, it seems AI was the solution to that problem. Thus, the next step was to acquire EMMA, and have it learn more about cognitive psience at the research lab in Okinawa. From that man who has it all, to gain all after betraying his friend and girlfriend, even his kids to have a whole lot more. The end results were the Jails created by EMMA, unique cognitive worlds in which no heart, no matter how cold, could resist being changed.
So this wasn't his doing more or Kano on some of the parts, but really EMMA itself of the programming AI.
Ryuji: You're sayin' EMMA made the Jails?!
Akechi: But how? EMMA is just a phone app!
Keiko: Are you telling us it's a lot more than that? But how?!

Morgana: So that's why the Jails were left standing even after we defeated the Monarchs.
Konoe: The Jails aren't perfect, mind you. A Jail's area of effect only covers roughly one city. Peculiar how such phenomenal power has such limited range. In order to change the hearts of all of humanity, I needed nothing short of an army of Monarchs. I need to use the Gegasites for power and those who see me as a real hero. So I began gathering pawns. Slaves to be all powerless, lamenting puppets who felt as hopeless on this earth as I once did. And do you know what happens when you grant people like that the power to change hearts? They welcome their newfound power with open arms. And by using EMMA to guide them, keeping them under control was a menial task. With the Monarchs I'd personally selected, I could change the hearts of the festering rabble that call this rotten place home. With the Monarchs at my command, I could change the hearts of anyone who dares step out of line. That was the endgame, Operation Oraculi. But you Phantom Thieves had to show up and ruin everything.
All this to trap the mess up ones who were hurt to be trapped in a Jail, leaving Konoe to be all a show off.
Morgana: So when we started taking down your Jails, you got scared that your plan would fail.
Keiko: Using people to get rid of a powerful weapon so nothing would ruined your own power.
Morgana: And that's why you used the police and turned Akane into a Monarch. It was all an attempt to stop us.
By using Alice, Ango, and Mariko was wrong. Even worse, Konoe stepped out of line when Akane was being used and mind controlled too.
Konoe Shadow: ...It's not too late. I can still erase these obstacles and start over.
Keiko: Wait! That's a bullshit plan. Don't take us lightly. And this plan of yours won't save anyone.

Konoe Shadow: Heh...You're still so naive. But eventually, even you will come to understand. Fight all you want, the most you can do is change the hearts of a scant few. Don't you see that my way is far more efficient?
Makoto: So everything will be fine as long as you're the one making all the decisions? Who do you think you are, some kind of god?

This only makes him laugh as a big joke.
Konoe Shadow: What foolish logic. So when you change people's hearts, it's right, but when someone else does it, it's wrong? I've built an entire infrastructure for changing hearts. What was impossible for you, I have made a reality. As a hero, I will reign over the whole world with infallible justice.
Zen: You used Akane for this ridiculous plan of yours? She was just an innocent girl.

Could you really have saved me? Even now, there are surely others being rough up in the same hell that I was. And yet you've done nothing to help them.
Makoto: Well, that's...
Like I said before, things would've been different if they could've. He shouldn't blame this on all of them.
Akechi: Listen! I almost wen the same thing you did. I'm sorry...But if it wasn't for the Phantom Thieves, I would've died with a bad change of heart to not have my Shadow saved.
Trying to talk about it, Konoe's Shadow won't listen to Akechi's reasoning at all.
Konoe Shadow: So what? It doesn't change a thing. You only destroy the evils you just happen to come across, but you'll never save everyone. Me, however, I have the power to change the entire world. No one will ever have to suffer as I did ever again. And to do that, you need something beyond what the Phantom Thieves can offer. You need more than some childish heroic fantasy.
Futaba: But that's not justice! All you're doing is brainwashing everyone! You're taking away their freedom, who they are!

Konoe Shadow: And whats the difference?! Both of us change the hearts of others against their will, so how am I any different from you?!
But he was different from them, even Sophia and Raiho's reaction could tell.

Opening the shutter doors appeared a giant robot fighting machine for Konoe Shadow to control, not good since the Phantom Thieves will be fighting against it.

From attacks the Zephyrus Mech with their weapons, it soon takes flight for Raiho was almost caught in the middle.

It was fast so up in the air on the wires to slide across they each do to try avoiding the hits and try to find a way to take out of the robot.

Another four combo firing on the machine again; allowing for Futaba to shield the others to have Makoto, Sophia, Zen, Akechi, and Keiko to destroy the other missiles.
Ryuji: Damn, he's tough! There's gotta be a rule about bringin' a giant robot to a fight, right?

An All-Out Attack they do together and Raiho getting a new weapon from sword to hammer to crush the batteries on the things to start smoking up into flames. So far to keep on fighting and avoiding the hits.
Zen: Damn...That firepower's no joke!
Konoe Shadow: All guns, fire! Leave nothing left!
More gun fire shots to stop the missiles again.

It was about to explode from the inside and the out.

Boom! The machine's gone, but the fight wasn't over yet.

Coming out of the smoke, Konoe Shadow in his battle suit were left standing and unharmed to save him to have his battle machine get blown up. Everyone, one more round.
Ryuji: So, we gotta put him down one last time.
Akechi: Then we'll do this together in combat.
This was no Tony Stark from Marvel's Iron Man at all, Akira Konoe was a big time villain. Getting out his laser sword for battle and power up!
Hero Konoe Shadow: Come on, Phantom Thieves! Let's end this! Try touching me again, snowman! I dare you. I double dare you. You do, I'll melt you down in seconds with my sword.
Keiko: He just power up. Everyone, let's take him down as a team!
Raiho couldn't beat down this villain alone but to aid the others this time. No turning back on the final battle now.
Hero Konoe Shadow: A hero must stand his ground. He must not let evil overcome him!
Morgana: He may be our enemy, but you've gotta admire his determination.
A bit to like the looks and not giving up, he still needs to be stopped.
Futaba: Mech or not, he's really taking it up a notch! Watch your back, guys!
Fighting around the leftover robot parts on the ground, this was the Phantom Thieves' chance to move and attack from above o striker from below.
Ryuji: What is all this? This stuff drop from the robot?
As Raiho tries it out for a jump on attack, the others do the same thing.
Sophia: Careful. Hitting those with enough force will cause them to explode.
The other ones can do so to come in handy. Trying it out on Akechi's end, it seems to do some damage.
Akechi: Looks like it does.
Morgana: It explodes, huh? Good shot, Black Crow. Maybe we can use that to our advantage!
Doing so to have a few of the guys on the stands to strike at the real villain. For one of Raiho uses his ice to have a snow blind Konoe Shadow or a few seconds.

Keiko: Here's our chance. Double Daggers of Darkness!
Ann: Spinning Inferno!

Haru: Daisy Vines!

Not bad to hit this guy a lot, huh? Keep it up! With Loki breaking through the room still inside the Jail's location to sense something, Hans and Ellen hurries to check it out too, while the Phantom Thieves kept on fighting. But more cutting through of other objects come flying down all over to explode or dropping down very fast.
Hero Konoe Shadow: Timber...
Makoto: He's jumping at us from the wreckage! Watch out, here he comes!
Akechi: Duck!
Moving away to cause the ground to get shaken up.
Keiko: Like his robot, his suit can still shake the grounds.
Hero Konoe Shadow: Even if I lose my wings, the fire of justice will never fade!
Trying to strike back, Raiho throws his sword for Ryuji and Keiko's ability of lighting to shock the man's suit to get stunned.
Ryuji: Nice one, Raiho. Eat this!
Keiko: Here comes some lighting!

Hero Konoe Shadow: Ngh, my armor won't move!
Moving again to strike back even faster.
Sophia: Here he comes again.
Hero Konoe Shadow: There...I'll crush you! Strength in the face of adversity! That is the unmistakable make of a hero!
Akechi: Shut up! You are no hero but a jack ass of a show off!
Ha! Nice one there.
Zen: Easy there, kid, but you're right...Yeah! Take a hint already!
Soon to be sword fighting for father and son give it their all to be skillful like Konoe Shadow was.
Ryuji: Man, if only you gave as much of a shit about actually helping people! Go, Ace Detective bad ass and father figured!
Hero Konoe Shadow: There is no escape, evildoers! Come. I'll show you what a true hero is made of!
This guy wasn't backing down.
Zen: Damn, he's quick...Doesn't help that I'm in my forties, either!
Akechi: Don't stop attacking, Wolf!
Hero Konoe Shadow: Why?! Why can't you share my vision?! I'm ridding the world of evil, just as you are...We're doing the same thing, Phantom Thieves!
As if! He's was doing things completely different.
Morgana: You're wrong, Konoe. The Phantom Thieves would never steal someone else's freedom.
Makoto: You wold sacrifice whoever it look to achieve your goal...Your father would've done the exact same.
Soon the suit has this guy use a move to suck up the surrounds, they move to destroy the other robot parts only to make a huge explosion. That was too close!
Keiko: Watch out for his deadly move there! (It could've blow us up to bits!)
Zen: Hey! Take a good look at all these guys have done, Konoe. Maybe then you'll see where you went wrong.
Moving away from more of Konoe Shadow's attack, more opening from the machines were still usable.
Futaba: Looks like you can still jump on those. Use them right, and we'll run circles around the enemy!
Doing so from one phantom thief and another to hurt him so far.
Hero Konoe Shadow: This is the power to annihilate the wicked! Haaaah!
Futaba: Uh oh, this looks bad...Get away from him! Hurry!
With Akechi carrying Keiko, Raiho riding on Sophia's back, and the rest moving away to have Morgana pulling Futaba's hand away from the danger too...Another close call. Somehow, Keiko uses her gun to fire another explosion type to hit Konoe Shadow really well.
Keiko: A direct hit!
Hero Konoe Shadow: Arrrgh! That was a cheap trick!
Futaba: Nice one, Joker, he felt that one! It's working! Keep on him!
Each of them use their weapons with their Personas help to take out his armor next.
Keiko: Aid us, Arsene!
Akechi: Attack, Loki!
Zen: Give this guy some hell for me, Valjean!
Sophia: Fire away, Pithos!
Morgana: Blow him away, Zorro!
Ryuji: Shock him, Captain Kidd!
Ann: Burn him up, Carmen!
Yusuke: Strike him down, Goemon!
Makoto: Ride it up, Johanna!
Haru: Bring on the beauty, Milady!
And with Raiho smacking Konoe Shadow around with his changing weapons again with a club with spikes on it, Futaba boosts them up as well.
Futaba: Boost them up, Necronomicon!
More attacks up, defense, speed, and invading. With Konoe Shadow striking back again...
Hero Konoe Shadow: May the light of justice flood this soiled earth!
Also, I know he is called Akira the Hero, but I like my title better. Using machine against powers of darkness, light, earth, ESP, lighting, fire, water, ice, poison, tech, and flower power.
Keiko: We won't give up!
Hero Konoe Shadow: Then you will fall by my blade!
Moving away and blocking his sword.
Ryuji: Holy shit, back off, dude! Take a out on the wall or somethin'!
Sophia: That may be possible. What if we lured Konoe into the wreckage of his mech?
Trying do to make their moves from gun shots and weapon swinging too, it was working so far. Using his weapon again, this time Raiho freezing it up.
Hero Konoe Shadow: Ha! Huh? Ah...No, my weapon's all ice! The hell?! That wasn't the only thing to get cold as ice...
Akechi: It's not your armor, Konoe, but your armor too.
Hero Konoe Shadow: No! Shit, you got me!
This was another shot for Zen's weapon and Akechi to slash back at Konoe Shadow many times.
Zen: Eat this!
I think he was at his limit...
Hero Konoe Shadow: Ngh...I won't accept defeat...The hero has to win...Justice has to win!
Ryuji: Couldn't have said it better myself! That's why we're takin' you down!
Using from sword skills of father and son. More snow power, Sophia's yoyo's, Yusuke sword, Makoto's gun shooting, Haru's axe, Ryuji's weapon to fire out, Ann's whip, Futaba's shielding skills, and Keiko's dagger swinging to almost break the armor into icy pieces.
Futaba: All right, guys! Finish him off!
From earth and light from Zen and Akechi combined powers... to cut through a lot at Konoe Shadow...Keiko uses her dagger to throw one at the helmet of energy source, then...Boom, it blows up to defeat him at long last.
Keiko: False hero you are.
Hero Konoe Shadow: Urrrgh...No...I can't lose! Not now!
Akechi and Zen: You just did.
For the helmet to get destroyed and the armor to be...sort of in tact only for Konoe Shadow was finally finished. This has Raiho cheering with joy. Yes!
Tayla: Akira the Hero or Hero Konoe Shadow and his Zephyrman Mech...Defeated and destroyed!
With Loki finally unlocking the door for him, Hans, and Ellen can find another clue to look around in.
Ellen: It's opened!
Hans: This is our chance.
Loki: You two, don't slow me down. Let's head on in. The Phantom Thieves did their part so we'll talk to them again later.
And they will too, as the Phantom Thieves deals with Konoe Shadow now to go back to normal and in defeat. Take a hint already!
Konoe Shadow: Ggh...!
Akechi: Finally, we did it.
Zen: We did good together.
A father and son did an amazing job here the most in this battle.
Keiko: Nicely done, boys. Now we heal his Shadow to get the final medallion. (I hope Hans and Ellen are finding what they're looking for too like Loki is, it's somewhere here...)
Konoe Shadow: No...No yet...The hero can't be defeated like this. I am the enforcer of justice...!
Keiko: What you did was wrong. That's not justice.
Akechi: You need to snap out of it, Konoe! Sorry...I know what you went through, I did to be saved. I found true friends, love, a real family, and stopped a man of a real father name Shido who took everything from me. Even more to stop Kano Guru real soon, we would save you if things were different back then. Trust me.
From Keiko and Akechi's strong words, Konoe Shadow seems to sense what Akechi went through the most like him. But his life was different.
Konoe Shadow: You would deny me, Black Crow?! Joker, you go with justice to do some good!
Keiko: Maybe, and yet it's all wrong.
All of it from Konoe's doing was. They do what's right to not know justice a lot, but they weren't idiots.
Ryuji: Dude, even we don't know what justice really is. And we don't mean to say that what we're doin' is always right, either.
Ann: But we're definitely not just gonna sit back while you tell everyone what to do!
Yusuke: It's true there are days when I wish to immerse myself in my work, and days when I'd rather be wandering around town...There are also fays when I wish simply to spend time with those close to me. To throw all of that away and do only what the person in front of you says...Why, at this point you're nothing but a slave to fate.
Haru: All you're doing is taking away people's rights to choose for themselves and denying them their freedom.
Makoto: When it comes down to it, it's no different from what your father did to you. Trampling upon the one thing that makes us human...That's the very evil you claim to hate!
It's all true to have Raiho nodding a yes there.
Konoe Shadow: Are you all saying...I'm the evil one?
Morgana: We choose the roads we take. We don't let anyone tie us down. And we do so because we want to walk our own paths our own way.
Konoe Shadow: But...if I fall here...Then, what will become of the world? There are no heroes...I'm the only one who can save it.
Is that what he really thinks of the world? Really...?
Sophia: Are you sure? I've seen the Monarchs and the people whose hearts you'd changed. They didn't look happy at all. I don't think you saved anyone doing what you did.
Konoe Shadow: ...!
Soon, Zen says something to Konoe this to change everything from his words.
Zen: You know, Konoe...The world is full of evil. And there's plenty of scum out there who seem well beyond redemption. But there are some like the Phantom Thieves who refuse to give up. Not me, or my son. And there are people out there who, thanks to these guys, finally got the courage to crawl their way out of the darkest of hell. People who managed to awaken the hero inside themselves. Isn't that how we'll make this world a better place?
Konoe Shadow: ...
I think he was starting to understand a bit more now.
Akechi: We learn and see what makes us heroes and human, it's us to be who we are. For my other half to learn this, it's worth everything.
Zen: What you're trying to do will just erase those heroes come before they even got their chance. Can anybody really know peace if they're forced to be stuck that way all the time?
Konoe Shadow: I'd be...erasing the heroes?
Something like it, yes.
Zen: Konoe, it's not the people who need saving. If anyone needs it, it's you.
Konoe Shadow: ...!
Zen: Ever since you killed your father all those years ago, all you've ever done is run away. Rotten as he was, having to live with the pain of killing your own flesh and blood, knowing that you could be caught at any moment...You were alone. And getting stronger was the only way you could protect yourself.
Akechi: I chosen to be a detective to save people like me and you who loss everything. I want them to have normal lives, and not to become the ones like you did, and almost to me too.
And finally, he gets it.
Konoe Shadow: I...You two are right, I...I did killed my father...And I lied to escape the punishment. I called it justice, hoping that there'd never come a day when I had to face the truth...But what I did back then...Was just...evil.
Zen: Then, you know what you need to do, Konoe. The hero you keep inside needs to save you from that evil.
Konoe Shadow: The hero I keep inside...I have to save myself. Heh...Haha...I see now. It's been right there with me all along...
He also takes his helmet off to get the sixth and final medallion from Konoe Shadow.
Keiko: The medallion too please. And don't worry, we'll keep bringing on real justice.
Konoe Shadow: I'm glad to hear it. Very well...I admit defeat. I'll confess my crimes and accept my punishment, whatever it may be. I'll destroy EMMA as well. You have my word.
Akechi: Thank you again, Konoe.
Konoe Shadow: Phantom Thieves...If it's possible, I only ask that you please prove to the world...That I was defeated by the real heroes of this story...Ones with a true sense of justice...
It's a deal then.
Keiko: Sure thing.
Akechi: We'll take care of it. We're the Phantom Thieves, though. Remember it well.
Konoe Shadow: ...Thank you.
From Keiko healing him...
Keiko: Rainbow of the Flaming Heart!
Now to get the last medallion to have all six of them now completed...The Spirit King of Justice - Akira Konoe. All the Golden Key of Sages of the Six Medallion Kings are all taken care of.
Konoe Shadow: Show me the true meaning of justice like you promised, I want to see real heroes.
And he goes back into his human host and such, the rest will be done tomorrow I guess. They did it!
Akechi: Well done, we got all the six medallions.
Keiko: Yep! From yellow, green, red, blue, purple, and orange of all different colors of these giant coins.
Soon the Jail castle started to shake, it was time to leave.
Morgana: That's our cue! Let's get outta here, guys!
Getting out to the real world 'as well as Sophia and Raiho in Keiko's phone', they all make it back safely.
Ryuji: Phew, that was a close one.
And with Raiho cheering with joy on his end too.
Morgana: But we did it. Now we just have to wait and see.
Haru: We certainly learned a lot. EMMA, Konoe's big plan...
Keiko: Dr. Guru, saving the twin girls, Sophia's past, the Guyver twins' past, finding Pandora's Box, and the wilder will be next.
It's something for the cognitive psience was connected to EMMA and such.
Morgana: Konoe said he taught cognitive psience to EMMA in order to create Jails. Shutting down EMMA should mean the Jails will finally disappear.
Akechi: Things will be clear for all of us again, as well as taking care of the other things. We'll stop the real villain in a bit.
Ryuji: So, our names are probably in the clear, too, right?
Yep, their names will be cleared once again.
Zen: Well, that depends on Konoe's confession, but Goro and I are thinkin' it'll probably work out that way.
Akechi: It will for sure.
A good thing to be laughing for their victory too.
Makoto: *chuckle*
Zen: Hm? What's so funny?
Makoto: Nothing. It's just those things you said back there. It was nice to hear you talk about us that way.
They all liked it.
Akechi: That's my Master...Well, my Dad.
Keiko: Yeah, thank you.
Yusuke: Agreed. Though, in all honesty, I can't say I thought all of what Konoe said was wrong. However, you words reminded me of precisely why we do this, Zenkichi.
Ann: That's one of the big reasons why we started the Phantom Thieves in the first place. To give courage to people!
Futaba: Yeah, that speech was tops, Zenkichi. Gotta give you proper for that one.
These kind words had Zen smiling.
Keiko: And the way you and Akechi-Cun stopped Konoe's Shadow of a tag team was amazing.
Zen: Heh, any more of this, and I'd say you were proud of me...Well, maybe for both Goro and me...Anyway, we've done what we set out to do. So in the meantime...
Akechi: Right, there's work to be done here.

Ann: Yeah, not gonna lie, a nice long bath sounds amazing right now, but...Since we're still here in Osaka, maybe we should get something eat?

Ryuji: Hell yeah! Osaka Feast-Round 2 comin' at ya!
Futaba: Then, let's get our butts in gear! I'm talkin' deep-fried skewers, pork buns, okonomiyaki, oh man, what else...?

[Sophia: Osaka has a lot of top-tier sushi vendors, too.

Akechi: Let just pick out what we can eat regularly.
Hugging and kissing Keiko on the cheek, for Akechi and her have done it again.
Keiko: Of course. Let's go eat. (I can feel a strong bond with my friends...and my Akechi.)
Time to go eat! And they do...Keiko, Akechi, Zen, Morgana, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, Haru, Sophia, and Raiho together. While back at the leftover things at Konoe Shadow's Jail – Loki, Ellen, and Hans see the door to finally the final part of the mystery to see for themselves on what's inside this futuristic room to look inside of.
Loki: This is it. No backing down now, got it?
Hans: Right, we want to see what's in this door. I can feel it, our answers.
Ellen: The sooner we see, the better we can locate the doc. For us, Aika, Hitomi, Mia's sake, and such.
Loki: Right, here we go.
Opening the door to see something which changes the three to be a very big one at that.
