A/N: Hello! This chapter will be split into three parts, but we've finally made it to Beacon! The dreaded initiation here I come! As a RWBY writer, everybody knows writing initiation is complicated with OCs.
Let's Go!

A New Family?
Westlyn sat down on a seat in the far corner of the shuttle bus. It was large and hard to miss, but she knew that as time passed it would become filled with the number of hopefuls trying their hand at initiation. Most of them would fail. In order to get into Beacon you had to show you had worth and skill and training. Some would come seeking glory. Others would come thinking they were ready only to be woefully inadequate.
She was early though, very early. Her father had always said that if you were on time then you were late. The airbus was still empty, so she took the seat that gave her the most advantage in seeing the competition.
Her thoughts kept bugging her though. That stupid boy! Every time she thought of his stupid face it got worse. He was younger, had to have been, but she could tell he had meant business. He had been a runt compared to her size and yet he didn't back down. That confidence he had shown….He was a worthy combatant for someone so young. He may have been a thief and soooo annoying but she had to admit that he handled himself well against an overwhelming opponent like herself. He may have been arrogant, but she knew the skills she gained fighting her father were only going to be more honed when she got into Beacon. If he ever showed his face around her again, He. Was. Toast.
Somebody sat down next to her startling her since she was lost in thought. It was a faunus girl with grey hair. She had on a blue and black zipper jacket with her hands in her pockets. Her blue skirt matched the blue on her jacket. At first she looked harmless, but Westlyn knew better. She had sat here knowing this was the best place for observing others as they got on, Westlyn could see it in her keen eyes. A sword poked out from under her jacket, what Westlyn assumed was her weapon.
Maybe it would be good to get some information. Westlyn put on a smile, "Hello! My name is Westlyn, what's yours?"
"..."
The girl obviously heard her. She was staring right at her. Westlyn didn't miss the hand that went behind the girls hip. Another weapon maybe?
"Not much of a talker are you? Sorry if I startled you" The hand retreated from behind her back, instead going to the small pack she had with her, pulling out a small book. Westlyn turned back to watch the waves of people start to come into the airbus.
"My name is Naomi"
Westlyn's head snapped over to the girl that was now fully immersed in the book she had taken out. The girl didn't look like she said anything, but Westlyn knew what she heard. It was a start at least. It made her smile. Maybe she analyzed too much, this wasn't a sparing match. She needed to lighten up.
Anyway its time to obser- "No way" She closed her eyes and shook her head. "No way, no way, no way!" That, that boy from last night just walked in with the group of people. He had a look on his face that said he was up to no good, and he looked whiter than a sheet. Probably for spending the night in jail. Of course he would be out on bond with all his underworld connections. Forget observing the rest, Westlyn knew she had to keep an eye on him. Find out what he was up to, and save Beacon if necessary!
Time for her to put all her skills to use!

It was a disaster. Utterly a disaster.
"Oh I can't believe my little sister is coming with me to Beacon!"
Shiro watched as Yang smothered Ruby on the cramped airbus as it floated towards their new life. Why was Ruby here? It didn't make sense! She was only fifteen! Wait...so was he. But but, he had experience going on trips with Tai and his father back when he was young! Yea that was it.
He zoned out of what the two girls were doing while stifling a yawn. He wished he had gotten more sleep last night. After the fighting and the nerves at the police station he was already exhausted, but then Ruby had to drop a bombshell on all the plans of being ready for initiation.
He moved away from the two girls as they kept talking to each other. If Shiro knew anything it was that Yang was planning on keeping Ruby safe. That didn't stop Tai from giving his the full 'protect my daughter' schpeal. I mean seriously how was a fifteen year old supposed to be in charge of another fifteen year old? It hadn't made any since then, but Shiro had agreed to be there for Ruby to pacify Tai.
Going to the seats on the side of the bus greeted him with the view over the city of Vale. Many people would probably be stunned at the sight, but the recent events just made him shiver. His father always did say the family line was cursed with misfortune, even represented in his father's semblance.
… and apparently his luck just kept getting better! Movement followed by a weird feeling of being watched had Shiro on edge. It could have been anyone, I mean he was in a crowded airbus, but he knew exactly who it was. Was that an attempt at stealth?
The rather tall girl from the other night was staring straight through him, like he was planning something. She stood at the very far end of the bus behind several people. Several smaller people. She towered over them, using them like a small fence she thought he couldn't see her through.
Shiro sighed. He realized when he sighed that the girl scowled, probably thinking horrible thoughts. Like oh no! An evil sigh! Followed by evil breathing! What dastardly plans would he come up with next!?
Maybe his father was right. Dealing with people was always such a hassle. Shiro preferred to work solo anyway...not that he had any other work besides training. Ozpin in the police office flashed through his mind. This 'working with others' thing is going to be harder than he thought.
"Eww Yang! You have some puke on your shoe!" A startled Ruby cried out.
"Gross! Gross! Gross!" Came the response. Not one Shiro expected, but he supposed it was better that her trying to pick a fight with people before actually arriving at Beacon. Either way the bus seemed to be descending. When it dropped down a tall boy ran out of the bus towards one of the trash cans that lines the way.
The bus itself laid in the center of a raised dais that descended onto a central path. The path had trees delicately cut that swayed slightly in the breeze from the airbus. Several students passed down the ramp marveling in the glory that was Beacon's pathways. It would lead onto the campus grounds which were even more beautiful than they could imagine.
This may be a school for hunters, but old Oz still likes to be dramatic about entering. 'Too flashy' Shiro thought. He moved to go with the other students but paused as he saw the girl still watching him, though she was now casually pretending not to while leaning on the back wall. When you have the opportunity, you might as well take the time to mess with some people, especially if it is fun.
Shiro looked around like he was observing the leaving crowd, waving at at Ruby who ran after Yang to wipe her shoes off on the wet grass. He then grabbed at nothing and pretended to shove it into his pockets, making sure to make his movements obvious to his 'unknown' observer. He looked around one way, missing her side towards the back.
With a smirk that sent all kinds of wrong messages he rubbed his hands together before walking out of the airbus. The girl followed slightly behind, letting him gain some distance as to seem like her actions weren't just to follow his own.
Tai would probably disapprove, but he knew his dad would have laughed. It was too funny not to. He sped up a little passing Ruby who had just tripped over some luggage that seemed thrown on the path. He would loved to have helped her, but it would have ruined what he was working towards with this stalker.
He ducked behind a tree as she was distracted by someone shouting. It was hilarious to watch her look around before sprinting off in the direction he was originally heading. Shiro held back laughing, but couldn't stop a small chuckle from coming out the side of his mouth with a smirk. If she made it into Beacon things would be so much fun! Especially now that he was the 'fifteen year old crime lord'!
The Bane of all huntresses everywhere!
The bush next to him rustled.
Crusher of grimm and wooer of women!
A pair of yellow eyes pushed out from the middle of the bush.
Just like his….father….
A face popped out of the bush, revealing slightly paled skin with flowing black hair with a ribbon on top poking out of the bush. She observed him too before her eyes widened.
"I can't believe its you!" She practically jumped out onto Shiro, "It's been years! Decades! Dad told me that you were gone. I always assumed he meant you were dead!" She looked at his head and let out a gasp, "What did they do ro your ears?! They were so pretty before! Don't worry, we'll make sure that whoever did those horrible things tp ypu never happen again okay?"
Shiro was lost. Very lost. As far as he knew he didn't know some black haired beauty who apparently had no concept of personal space. "Look, I think you have me confused with someone else". He grabbed his ears, "Plus I think my ears are just fine thank you"
"You don't remember me?" She stared at his head before something clicked in her brain. "Right, right. You must not recognize me because of my disguise!" She stood back and pulled the ribbon off of her head. The ribbon came off but somehow stayed in place. "How about now?"
"You're a faunus?"
She nodded her head seeming to calm down as she stepped back and leaned against the tree. "It's Blake" She got quiet but had a smile. Like she was waiting for something to click into place.
Shiro was still very much lost. The only people that he knew were faunus were a couple of kids that always hung low in Signal. They were both guys though, and just started this past year. He didn't know what was going on. I mean he used to go on trips with his father, but they met so many people that he couldn't keep up with them all.
It was like she was reading him like a book. Before he could answer she looked saddened. Her shoulders slumped as she lowered her head,"You don't remember me at all"
"I'm sorry but I defiantly don't remember you. If we met while I was traveling with my father, I am sorry, but its so hard to keep track of all the people you meet. I was never really good at that" Shiro scratched his head and kept a sympathetic smile on his face. "But I am glad you didn't hide your ears. Doesn't that hurt?"
The new girl….Blake….tried to keep a straight face, but Shiro could tell something was eating at her. "I mean it kinda does, especially when the knot pinches the hair," She rubbed one oh her ears with her hand, wincing a little as she touched it.
She looked back at Shiro's head. "What happened to your ears?" She winced again. If you don't want to tell me you don't have to. I know it was probably awful. "You've been through a lot haven't you?"
"I'm a human. I only have one set of ears, not that there is anything wrong with being a faunus"
Blake looked hurt. "I must have been mistaken….you just look so much like what I imagined an older Shiro would look like."
"Well you're not wrong about my name. I am Shiro. Shiro Branwen."
Blake looked hurt. "So you aren't the Shiro I know? We were just kids when we met. He was a snow leopard with cute white ears."
"Snow leopard?"
Suddenly everything clicked into place.

"Hey thanks again for helping me Weiss. It means so much to me" Olivia got off the private bus just for Weiss and herself. Weiss quickly ordered her servants to wheel her luggage on little trolleys off the bus and towards the school. "I see someone is confident."
"I am a Schnee, of course I'm confident. I've been given this great opportunity to show that all that training with the best fencers money could buy did not go to waste." Weiss smirked. This was going to be a cakewalk. She was prepared, she was perfect. She would make Winter proud and live up to her family name! "Plus any friend of Winter is a friend of mine"
She looked confident, but was honestly too trusting. At first when Olivia showed up she tried to rent a hotel room for the night before Beacon orientation started to find the entire hotel booked for a special guess under the SDC. Olivia thought in was Winter come to claim her head like she had threatened to do several times over only to find out the sister she heard so much about in her place.
Go figure that the first impression of Weiss was not exactly the kindest. Olivia was in normal clothes that were wrinkled from the long flight from Atlas. Besides her bags the only other thing she had out was her sketch pad. When Olivia got in the way of Weiss's cake butler, Weiss told her off. When Olivia commented that Weiss reminded her of Winter though, things changed.
Olivia was invited into the master suit with Weiss. They talked to each other and had different stories involving Winter and Ironwood. It was fun, hanging out with someone her own age, someone who didn't see her as an Atlesian brat, felt nice.
"Are you coming?" A angry Weiss called out to her before turning back to the butlers
"Yea I'm coming!" Olivia put her sketchpad away. She couldn't help but use it when she saw the landscape. Pictures of Beacon were beautiful and could be found with a simple scroll search, but nothing was better than experiencing it for herself.
She had been locked up in Atlas training and pranking. Not anymore! Freedom! Real freedom! This was just the start. And every good start has to be pictured.
They were almost ready when a small girl tripped over some of the luggage. Olivia kept walking as Weiss stopped to give the girl a piece of her mind.
Weiss was so much like Winter, yet so different. Either way she knew that she would have a few surprises for Beacon. Ironwood told her not to act out. He gave a lecture on how she could not do anything to cause an international incident.
She would never.
She smiled as she passed through the shadow of a tree, disappearing along with it. She would give someone nightmares but she couldn't resist. Maybe not an international incident, but maybe just maybe she could 'even her odds' of getting into Beacon with a few pranks.
She wanted to keep her newfound freedom for just a bit longer, so why waste it? She fist bumped the air before giggling a little.
This was going to be Awesome!

Rats! She knew she missed her target. Westlyn had everything under control until that girl started yelling! Now she lost him. That boy was up to something. She didn't know what, but she knew that whatever it was it must have to do with the dust robbery in Vale. They had to be connected.
Fortunately she knew where he was going. He put in effort to look like a normal student. That means he needed to get into Beacon for something. This was a calling. Her calling! It was finally her time to shine.
"I swear on my honor as an Arc that I will follow him! I will protect Beacon!"
Her brother's disappointed face flowed through her mind, followed by his anger. Him telling her off. The image of her father pulled her out of her darkness.
You are destined to be a hero
This she swore. Now if he was going to infiltrate Beacon, that means he had to pass initiation. She would have to stay close.

List of Possible Targets from Airdock Observation:
Yang Xio-Long (Strength must investigate)
Ruby Rose/ Xio-Long (Must investigate)
Shiro Branwen (Connections investigate/ Noticed being observed)
Westlyn Arc (Spoke to me/ Possible cover)
Jaune Arc (Foul Smelling/ Meat shield?)
Naomi always was good at observation. It was what she excelled at. Not many people pay attention to the ones that sit in the back. The quiet ones. She had learned on the streets that that was a good thing. The ones that boasted were the ones that fell while the others got away.
She was on a mission. It was the best way to finally get the revenge she wanted, yet the last name on her list she struggled with.
All Karma was cyclical
All situations were ironic
And revenge could be so sweet
Blake Belladonna (Adam's Whore)
Maybe she didn't need Cinder for her revenge after all.

A/N: Sorry for being quiet for so long. I've been through some rough times recently. It made me not want to write for a while. Lets just say 2020 has been horrible.
