(I've said in a previous chapter that Naruto isn't Shallot from Dragon Ball Legends instead he's more like Goku however I could make it that Naruto's Saiyan name is Shallot and Giblet be like Turles what you all think?)
Day of the Chunin Exam's
Team Seven and Aika were standing outside the Konoha Academy where the Chunin Exam's were being held, as Naruto, Aika, Sasuke and Sakura entered the building they headed for the room 301. As they walked up the flight of stairs they saw a large crowd gathered outside a room where it said that it was the third floor however they only walk up one flight of stairs and as they got closer they saw a boy in a green outfit being pushed to the ground by two tall looking Genin, who were blocking the way into the room.
"You're actually trying to take the Chunin exam at your level?" One of the Genin mocked.
"You kids should quit while you still can, since you won't last in this exam" said the other Genin.
"Please just let us through" The girl said as she helped her teammate back up.
"Yeah you have no right to stop us!" Another Genin said within the waiting crowed.
"Huh! We're doing you all a favour by keeping from entering the exam, as it is extremely difficult and we've seen people get seriously injured in it, because they weren't ready for it" said the one who had two bandages on his cheeks.
"He's right, as a Chunin you could be assigned as the leader of the squad and it's your job to make sure that your subordinates come back alive from a mission, so what's wrong with weeding out the weaklings, as you aren't going to pass it anyway if you can't get by us" said the other boy.
"That's a pretty sound argument, but I'll pass" Sasuke said as he stepped forward, "Also undo the Genjutsu you place over the sign, as I want to go to the third floor where the exam is actually being held".
At hearing this many people in the crowd grew confused, not understanding what Sasuke was talking about.
"Oh so you notice that did you?" said the boy with the bandages on his face.
"Yea I did, you guys also noticed earlier right?" Sasuke said as he looked back at Naruto, Aika and Sakura "As Sakura and Aika has the best analysing skills and Genjutsu just don't work on Naruto".
Naruto just nodded his head as he had indeed notice it upon coming to the second floor as the thing about his immunity to Genjutsu's is that it causes illusions to look faze to him, Aika just nodded her head as she seen though the Genjutsu as they don't work on Jinchuuriki's thank to their Tailed Beast and Sakura who hadn't really notice at all just pretended to have and take any praise she could get from Sasuke.
"You're pretty good, but just being able to detect our Genjutsu isn't good enough" The boy with the bandages on his face said before he quickly dash forward to kick Sasuke, who saw it coming and prepared to block the kick with a kick of his own.
But just as the two were about to hit each other, Lee suddenly appeared between them and caught both their legs.
"He's fast" Naruto thought with some what surprise at Lee's level of speed, "He's a completely different person, that he was a moment ago… he must have only been letting those guys push him around so to keep his real skill level a secret from everyone else so they would underestimate him in the exam, smart".
"He stopped me with just a kick" Sasuke thought with some surprise and annoyance at how easily Lee had caught his kick.
Soon after Lee let go of both Sasuke and the other boy, that was his team-mates walked up to him.
"Lee you broke our promise" Neji said annoyed "You're the one who didn't want to gain people's attention, by doing something to stand out".
"I am sorry" Lee said before he turned to look at Sakura and blush a little.
"She must be the reason why" Tenten said while shaking her head.
"I have heardheard about you and seen you around your Sakura Haruno, My name is Rock Lee, Let's go out together! I'll protect you till the day I die!" Lee said as he did his nice guy pose.
Upon hearing this, both Naruto and Aika had to bite down hard on their own lip to keep themselves from laughing out loud as they saw the look of horror on Sakura's face, after hearing Lee however they couldn't help but let a few snickers out.
"I guess it's true what they say there really is someone out there for someone else" Naruto thought with a slight chuckle.
"Eh…NO WAY!" Sakura shouted in horror "I belong only to Sasuke" she thought to herself.
"Hey, you there" Neji said looking at Sasuke.
"Your Sasuke of the Uchiha Clan" said Neji.
"Yeah and from your eyes your from the Hyuga Clan" said Sasuke.
"That's correct I am Neji Hyuga" said Neji.
"I've heard of him! He was last year's Rookie of the year, they say he's a extremely gifted prodigy" Sakura said which Naruto, Aika and Sasuke thought was useful to know.
"Your Aika Senju! Your related to Tsunade Senju!" Tenten said in amazement.
"Yeah that's right, who are you?" Aika ask curiously.
"Oh I'm Tenten Hitomi, I'm a huge fan of Tsunade she's my idol" said Tenten.
(I know that we don't know Tenten's last name so I'm giving her the Hitomi name and I will be giving other character's who's last names we don't last names)
"Come on you two we're leaving" Neji said as he turn around and started walking down the hall way.
"Yeah it's time to go" Sasuke said as he turn around the other direction and started walking down the hall way with Naruto Aika, and Sakura following behind him.
"Come on Lee" Tenten said as she saw Lee wasn't leaving.
"You go ahead, I'll catch up" said Lee.
On the way to the exam hall
As they headed down the hall, Sasuke couldn't help but think about all the skilled Genins's that he will meet and test himself against and see if he can use his Sharingan to copy any useful Jutsu's.
"You, Uchiha, hold on a moment!" A voice callout to them.
The trio turned to see Rock Lee on a platform above them, Naruto raised an eyebrow, Sakura cringed, Aika smile thinking that he was going to try again with Sakura and Sasuke remained unfazed.
"This guy again" thought Naruto.
"What do you want?" ask Sasuke.
Lee then jump down from the platform "I challenge you to a fight right here and now?" Lee ask in his fighting stance.
Upon hearing the request, Sasuke raised his eyebrow, unsure whether to accept Lee's request or not as he remembered how easily he had caught his kick earlier.
"Hmph this should be fun fine I accept" Sasuke said with a smirk, as he was eager to try out his Sharingan in a fight and to see what Lee can do.
"There's no need Sasuke we got to sign up by 3 clock that's less then half hour" Aika said worry that they might be late to sign up for the Chunin Exams.
"Relax this will be all over in five seconds" Sasuke said firmly.
Sasuke then changed at Lee deciding not to use his Sharingan just yet in case this fight ends quickly and he gains nothing from it while Lee could tell his teammates about it, once Sasuke was close enough he took a swing at Lee however he disappeared and reappear behind Sasuke in the air.
"Leaf Whirlwind" As Lee callout his attack he did a backwards high kick using his left foot, Sasuke managed to dodge it but once Lee's hands were in the ground he sent another kick at Sasuke who put his guard to block it but Lee's kick still manage to hit him which sent him flying backwards.
"SASUKE!" Sakura shouted in worry for her crush.
"This guy, he's in skill in Taijutsu to pull off the Leaf Whirlwind like that" Aika thought impressed.
"Whoever this Lee guy is, he's skill in Taijutsu" Naruto thought while itching to fight Lee himself.
"What the hell was that!? Did he use some kind of Ninjutsu or Genjutsu to get past my guard?" Sasuke thought as he slowly picked himself up.
"Impressive, even after I delivered a direct hit, he is still able to stand up, but I expected none than less from someone of the fame Uchiha Clan" Lee thought.
"Maybe this fight could be a good opportunity to try this out" Sasuke said with smile as he channel his Chakra into his eyes which activated his Sharingan.
"The Sharingan!" Sakura thought amazed when she saw Sasuke's eyes.
"So that's the famed Sharingan, I've heard all about" Lee thought as he got ready, as he knew what to do next.
"Yes Sasuke can definitely win this now, with the Sharingan he can see through whatever technique that bushy eyebrow guy is using, just like Kakashi Sensei" Sakura thought "You're really are amazing Sasuke".
"He's awaken his Sharingan! That's going to be useful if we have to work together in the Chunin Exam but now I got to careful so I don't let him copy of Jutsu's" Mito thought.
"Genjutsu or Ninjutsu whatever technique he's using I'll see it now" Sasuke thought as he changed at Lee again.
However just as he neared Lee, the bushy eyebrow Genin once again disappeared right before his eyes and reappeared directly underneath Sasuke and cried out "Leaf Rising Wind!", where he kicked his leg upward and sending Sasuke flying up into the air, much to the horror of Sakura and interest of Naruto and Aika.
"You see my technique isn't neither Ninjutsu or Genjutsu" Lee said charged at Lee, where he engaged Sasuke in a fierce Taijutsu fight, where he was forced on the defensive, since Lee avoid every strike that Sasuke tried to hit him with.
After a minute or so of fighting Lee quickly ducked under another punch from Sasuke, where he then delivered a power elbow to the stomach, causing the young Uchiha to stumble back a bit and hold his stomach in pain.
"As you can see, my moves are solely hand to hand combat" Lee said where he once again disappeared and reappeared behind Sasuke, who spun around and tried to hit him, but missed again, as Lee jumped back to avoid the punch.
"I am well aware of the abilities of your Sharingan possesses, where it can see through, any Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu, however unlike the first two, Taijutsu is a little different as unlike Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, there is no requirement for forming seals or kneading Chakra" said Lee.
"What do you mean by that?" Sasuke ask while also shock that Lee knows some much about his Sharingan.
"What I mean, is that even although your Sharingan allows you to see my movements, your body does not have the speed to keep up with my moves, which is why you cannot beat me" Lee said confidently, which of course angered Sasuke.
"Makes sense as the Sharingan may allow you see the moves that doesn't mean it will make you move as fast as your opponent" Naruto thought while also thinking that this was good to know if he ever fights Sasuke or anyone else with the Sharingan.
"That's good know" Aika thought.
Infuriated at how Lee was beating him with little to no trouble, Sasuke charged at Lee, swinging wildly in the hopes of hitting the older Genin but every time he try to hit Lee he easily evaded Sasuke's attacks,
"Your Sharingan and my extreme Taijutsu skill are a bad combination" Lee said as he avoided more of Sasuke's punches. After which he moved forward to attack Sasuke, who tried to block, but was too slow and was once again kick into the air.
After which Lee then used his Shadow of the Dancing Leaf to appear right behind Sasuke. "Now I shall prove to you with this move, that hard worker such as myself, can surpass natural geniuses like you" Lee said as he then loosed his bandages around his arms.
"I win" Lee stated just as he was about to deliver the final blow, however he was stop when Naruto rush at him at great speed similar to his own which surprised him and in that moment Naruto was able to punch Lee in the right side of his face while also grabbing on to Sasuke and go back next to where Sakura and Aika was standing.
"He's fast and very strong, he must have also trained extremely hard as well interesting" Lee thought as he rubbed his cheek.
"Wow I always knew that Naruto was one of the best at using Taijutsu in our class but I don't know that he was this good" Aika thought amazement.
"I didn't need any help Naruto" Sasuke said angrily.
"We got a exam to do and you won't be able to do it if your bang up Sasuke" said Naruto.
"I see it would seems that while I had only focused on the Uchiha I'd overlook you, since Sasuke is unable to continue I'll fight you instead" Lee said as he went into his fighting stance.
"Oh you want to fight me do ya?" Naruto said with a grin.
"Stop right there, Lee!" A voice callout and when everyone turn towards it they saw a large red Turtle with a Konoha headband around it's neck.
Seeing the turtle, Lee went over and went on his knees in front of the the large red turtle who scolding Lee over using the move that he was about to do, saying how it was forbidden which made Naruto curious as to what exactly was the move. At the same time Sasuke was glaring daggers at the back of Lee's head, as he couldn't believe that he got beaten by a weird guy like Lee.
Once he finish scolding Lee the red turtle then said "Gai Snsei please take care of the rest" After which a large puff of smoke appeared on top of the turtles shell and once it disburse it revealed man who look a lot like a adult version of Lee without the bandages around his arm's and was wearing a Jōnin vest and he was doing a ridiculous looking pose.
"You guys are in the springtime of your life, aren't you?" Gai said with a smile.
Naturally upon seeing Gai and his ridiculous looking pose, all the members of Team Seven and Aika were completely freaked out by the man.
"This guy is an even bigger weirdo than that other one" said Sakura.
"Look at those eyebrows their HUGE!" said Aika.
"Are they alive or something!" said Naruto.
"Hey don't make fun of Gai Sensei!" Lee said angrily as he turned around for look Naruto and the others.
"Kind of hard not to, with all these weirdoes around" said Sasuke.
"What did you say…?" Lee said angrily.
"Lee, cut it out" Gai said not really caring what Team Seven had said about him, where once Lee had turned around he punch the boy right in the face, calling him an idiot and sending him across the room, which freaked the members of Team Seven and Aika even more at what Gai had just done. Gai then went over to his student, where out of no-where a sunset background appeared out of no-where.
"Sensei…I…I" Lee said as he crying anime tears of sorrow.
"It's okay, Lee, don't say any more" Gai said as he knelt down next to Lee.
"Gai Sensei!" Lee cried as he jumped into his Sensei arms.
"Lee!" Gai cried as he hugged his student, after which a giant wave appeared in the background.
Naturally upon seeing this both Sasuke and Sakura were horrified beyond words.
"Aaaggghhh! What the hell is this thing, it has to be some kinds of Genjusti" Sasuke cry out in horror as he tried to cancel the cursed thing, but found he couldn't.
"Someone stop it, please for the love of Kami, stop it!" Sakura cry out in horror.
However as this was going on Naruto and Aika was lucky enough to not be able to see it but they did wonder what it could be if it made Sasuke and Sakura act that way.
"Yes this is Youth" Gai said tears going done his face as he continued to hug Lee.
"Gai Sensei!" Said Lee.
After a minute or so, Gai let go of Lee and stood up, "It's okay Lee, it's normal to make mistakes when you're younger"
"You're too kind Gai Sensei" said Lee.
"Now, run one hundred laps at the training ground in the sunset!" Gai said as he pointed to the doors outside, where somehow the sunset background appeared again.
"Hai Gai Sensei!" said Lee.
"Let's go!" said Gai
"Yes sir" said Lee.
"Wait! You can't go, the Chunin exams are about to start, if you leave now, you'll miss it!" said Naruto.
"What? Oh yeah…" Gai said as he scratched his head out of embarrassment, as he had forgotten about the exam.
Turning back to Lee, Gai spoke to his student, "Lee, I am going to punish you for fighting and for breaking a promise after the exams, Okay?"
"Hai!" Lee said as he saluted his Sensei.
"They're both idiots!" All of Team Seven and Aika at the exact same time.
Soon after though Gai turned to the four Genin's and finally took notice of them, "Hhhhmmmm, They must be Kakashi's students?" thought Gai.
"Crap he's looking our way" Sakura with worry.
"You must my friend Kakashi Hatake Genin team" said Might Gai.
"Eh excuse me Gai Sensei, but do you know Kakashi Sensei?" Sakura ask curiously.
"I don't just know him… People call us eternal rival's" said Gai.
Upon hearing this Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura gave Gai as weird look, not believe that in the least, as it sounded completely fake however Aika knew it to be true as Kakashi told her about Gai over the years.
Naturally seeing the sceptical looks on the three of the Genin's faces, Gai decided to prove himself, where within the blink of an eye, Gai disappeared and appeared directly behind them. But none of the Genin knew this until Gai spoke from behind them, making all three of them jump slightly.
"Currently now the record stands with fifty wins and forty-nine loses" Gai said with a smile.
Naturally after hearing Gai's voice from behind and turning around to see, all four Genin's were shocked, as none of them had sensed him until he spoke up.
"But when did he….?" Sakura thought shocked.
"What...? He's fast…" Sasuke thought shocked.
"He isn't kidding, Gai I think I heard of him he's Konoha's number one Taijutsu Specialist" Naruto thought while also thinking about how fun it would be to fight him.
"He isn't called the 'Leaf's Noble Green Beasy' for nothing" thought Aika.
"Also let me tell you all that I'm stronger than Kakashi" said Gai.
"He's stronger than Kakashi?" Sasuke thought, who was unsure whether to believe Gai or not, "Well his speed is definitely better than Kakashi…damnit there's no way he can be bluffing, especially after what he just did?".
"Lee caused you all some trouble, but please forgive him, as he meant no real harm" Gai said as he looked at Team Seven who just nodded. Lee began to re-bandaged his hands where Naruto and Aika noticed that there were many bruises and cuts that were underneath showing how hard Lee must have trained.
Once Lee was rebandaged, Gai then told them that both Lee and them should hurry to the exam or else they'll miss it. After which both Gai and the large red turtle puffed away in a puff of smoke.
"Sasuke before we part ways let me say this, to be honest, the only reason I wanted to fight you, was to test my skills. You should also know that there is some else on my team, who is stronger then me and you've met him earlier" said Lee.
"You're referring to that guy from earlier?" asked Sasuke, where Lee just nodded.
"I entered this Exam to defeat him, but you're also one of my targets" Lee said before looking at Naruto "But now it seems I have someone else to defeat".
"I suggest that you both prepare yourselves for the Exam!" Lee said before he jumped away and ran to where his team-mates would be waiting for him.
"Well I guess that the Uchiha Clan isn't all that great after all" said Aika.
"AIKA! WHY YOU!" Sakura shouted angrily.
"Shut up… the next time I face him, I'll slaughter him!" Sasuke said angrily.
"If you believe that, then I can tell you straight he'll beat you into the ground, worse than he did a few minutes ago" Naruto said which of course infuriated Sasuke even more.
"NARUTO! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO SASUKE!" Sakura shouted angrily as she couldn't believe how dare Naruto and Aika were putting Sasuke down.
"It's the truth, didn't you two see his hands, before he re-bandaged them, they were covered in bruises and cuts from training, many of which were old ones by the look of them" said Naruto.
This revelation of course surprised both Sasuke and Sakura, as neither of them had paid attention to Lee's hands.
"Given that, this Lee guy has clearly done far training more than you, and a lot more intensely, probably every single day to have all those injuries, it's that simple" said Aika.
At first, Sasuke did not take what Naruto and Aika had said well but soon realized that they were right, after which he just smirked. "Well that's just fine, as this just makes things more interesting"
Naruto of course just smirked back, as he knew that his lose to Lee had only made Sasuke even more determined to do well in the Chunin Exam.
After a few minutes Naruto, Aika, Sasuke and Sakura finally made it to where the room where the Chunin Exam was happening. But as they got near the doorway, they saw Kakashi waiting for them at the doorway.
"Ah so you all came, that's good, now you can all do the Exam" said Kakashi.
"What do you mean by that Kakashi Sensei?" Sakura ask not understanding what Kakashi meant.
"If only one or two of you came then I'll have to prevent you from entering as you can only enter the exam as a team of three, so it's a good thing Aika is apart of your team" said Kakashi.
"Why didn't you tell us that before Kakashi Sensei?" Naruto ask curiously.
"Because I didn't want anyone to feel pressure to where the exam for those even if they feel they are not ready, but seeing that all three of you are here then that means each of you feel that you are ready and as your Sensei I can only hope for the best for you" Kakashi said before he left, going to where all the other Konoha Sensei's were at.
"So then are the three of you ready?" Sasuke ask looking at his teammates.
"I'm nervous but I know I can do this" said Sakura.
"I'm ready for anyone who wants a fight" Naruto said as he slammed his right fist into his left hands.
"I'm ready to show everyone what the future Hokage can do" Aika said with a smile.
"Then let's do this and become Chunin" Sasuke said as he open the double doors.
