Chapter 13:
800 Yards
Arendelle
Arendelle was practically asleep, the castle had gone home for the night, earlier than usual. Sunday's were usually days when the staff wasn't present and were instead enjoying time with their families or loved ones.
She had spent her time by Anna's side practically the whole entire day. Kristoff, Sven and Olaf tagged along and the sisters even made sure to entertain the little snowman with endless games of charades.
Once Anna could hardly maintain her eyes open they called it quits, even though the snowman could play for countless more hours.
It was funny and unusual, really. Seeing Anna exhausted by the time the old clock struck nine was rather strange. Very unlike her usual and energetic self.
Elsa knew the feeling very well. Having so many things preoccupied on your mind as queen would exhaust any average person. It even exhausted her when she was acting queen. And to be figuring out a solution for the upcoming winter, while at the same time planning one of the largest weddings to ever be celebrated in Arendelle, would definitely do it for her.
But now everyone was asleep. Except her, as always. And this time it wasn't because she was hearing a voice calling her. This time is was because tomorrow would be the day that Princess Hanna would supposedly arrive. At least according to what Hans had told her.
She hoped it was true. Hanna never did reply to her letter, and she hoped Hans would be telling the truth, that Hanna would do everything she could to be in Arendelle, even if it meant sacrificing her own life.
But she didn't trust Hans. Practically every word that came out of his mouth was a lie to her. And even though she received a letter from princess Hanna, she still couldn't get past the fact that it was Hans who revealed that secret to her.
She was the only one in Arendelle who knew that the Southern Isles could arrive at their docks as early as tomorrow morning. Not even Anna knew. She couldn't know. She would suspect everything and find out one way or another. She was already suspecting Elsa's unusual behavior by how she insisted the princess of the Southern Isles come.
Elsa sighed and sat up from her bed. Her naked feet dangling from the bed as her purple gown glowed under the moon.
So many things on her mind. So many worries. Her people in Arendelle needed help and tomorrow would define the future of her great homeland forever.
And it all came down to one person. His own twin sister. The supposed twin sister.
She rose to her feet and slowly walked towards the large window of her room. The Northern Lights were out, shining beautifully under mother Norway.
The sky is awake.
And more importantly she was awake. And she couldn't sleep. Too many things were on her mind and she wasn't going to be able to fall back asleep until she finds answers to at least some of those things.
Without a second thought put into it, Elsa turned on her heels and began to dissolve her gown until it was completely overtaken by her beautiful and glorious white dress.
Her boots forming around her feet before she walked through her room door and snuck out of the hallway, passing though her snoring sisters room before stepping out into the open and out of the castle.
She had to see him.
She tied her soft and beautiful white hood around her head so she wouldn't be seen and snuck past the guards patrolling round about the castle as she quickly walked towards the docks.
When she reached the docks, she bent down on to her knees and gently touched the cool water. Shortly thereafter the Nokk descended gloriously before her. He neighed loudly, greeting her before she gently caressed his nose and shushed the water spirit with her other finger on her lips.
Once he was completely covered in ice, she jumped on top, adjusted the reigns on her hands and with one gentle kick to its side, the Nokk took off into sea towards the direction of the forest.
Northuldra
He had found himself turning from side to side, forcing his eyes to shut but only to have them slowly open against his will. He tried controlling his breathing and to relax his nerves but failed.
He couldn't sleep. There was something deep in his gut that kept bugging him, like a scratch you just couldn't itch. A familiar scratch.
This wasn't normal and he wasn't lacking sleep just cause his body felt like it. His body was too exhausted from all the intense and hellish training Tadashi had been putting him through.
So then why on earth couldn't he sleep?
Before he knew it he had found himself making his way through the camp, making sure to not wake anyone before reaching the familiar trail he knew so well. He hiked up the trail and reached the empty yet familiar cave he used to live in.
The Four Peaks
He dropped his canteen to the ground and made his way towards the chopped wood that was neatly stacked on top of one another. He grabbed a few of them and threw them into the rounded ditch before filling it with twigs and hay.
He walked into the cave and retrieved two flint stones that were just sitting on top of a boulder like they usually did. He walked back and kneeled in front of the fire ditch.
Then with two strikes the sparks descended from the stones and fell on top of the twigs. He leaned down and gently blew on the sparks with his hand covering the wind. The flames shot up elegantly and began to burn all of the other twigs surrounding it before making its way to the firewood.
He tossed the flint stones to the side and sat down as he leaned back, making himself comfortable with his back to the boulders behind him as they supported his back.
He inhaled deeply as he ravished the warm yet cool weather surrounding him. His cold breath appearing with every exhale. The Scandinavian winds blowing coldly at his face while the fire warmed his body.
The perfect combination.
There were no sounds of humans or animals nearby; just the sound of the wind and crackling fire which he stared deeply but softly into. He hoped this would get him tired soon and that he would be able to fall fast asleep.
Before he knew it his stomach was growling, more so of cravings rather than of hunger. The cold weather always made him crave hot glögg or hot cocoa. He grew up with that tradition from his mother.
And since he had no chocolate powder around, he instead started making hot glögg, the alcoholic kind of course. There weren't as many natural roots around the cave to make it originally from scratch, and he didn't feel like walking all the way back down to the forest to retrieve it.
Instead he grabbed the left over wine and rum. The oranges and cinnamon he found nearby and everything he could sum up to stir in the hot pot.
As he stirred the wooden spoon on the hot pot, his emerald eyes suddenly looked up towards the fire as if they were seeing something and feeling something felt out of place. But when he realized the familiar presence, he smirked tiredly.
"Have you been standing there long, your majesty?" He asked with his back still facing him. He inhaled the now much colder air.
"Actually, I just arrived two minutes ago." She replied emotionless.
He smirked. "You have quiet feet, usually I'm faster at feeling people's presence near me."
She said nothing to that, instead she picked up her dress and stepped up and off the trail and into the the light as she slowly walked towards the boulder sitting just across of him.
Hans watched as the beautiful white dress dragged on the ground and followed her like a tide wave. Not once staining itself from the dirt.
She could even see her defined legs with every step she took as the opened area of the dress moved forward and than backwards.
They met each other's eyes as she slowly bent down and sat on the boulder, crossing her leg over the other and her hand clasped together on top of one another. Sitting like a queen, as always.
She stared at him with the same blank expression as he crossed his feet together. His posture leaned back as if he was about to fall in deep sleep, but instead he just stared back at her.
None of them said a word to each other, just pure silence with the cool wind and the warm fire playing melodies around them.
"Why aren't you in back at the camp." She asked suddenly, although it was more of a demand.
"Sleep has escaped me." He replied and followed it up with a deep and tiredly inhale. "How about yourself? Have you gotten to used to sleeping in the outdoors, rather than in a castle like a normal royal."
"Not at all." She replied just as tiredly herself. "Although sleeping under the stars has its benefits, I still prefer my bed in Arendelle... but I too have had my sleep escape me..."
"Nerves?"
"Yes... princess Hanna is expected to be here tomorrow." She answered.
Hans could see the anxious worries in her eyes as she looked to the fire. It was clear she needed some sort of comforting words that would make her believe Hanna is trustworthy.
But that is always hard to do when you have Hans Westergaard as a twin brother.
"You really shouldn't worry you know? She's on your side and has a caring heart. Something I don't have." He added bitterly.
"Tell me more about her." She demanded suddenly as she straightened herself, not once moving her eyes from the fire.
Hans snorted softly. "You're just hours from meeting her. Why would you-"
"Hans." She cut him off, suddenly lifting her sparkling blue eyes and staring directly at him, challenging him as if she was waiting for him to obey her words and tell her. "Please... Tell me about Hanna."
She wasn't going to leave without getting what she wants. Guess she was stubborn like that but so was he. He sighed after a long while and made himself more comfortable against the boulder before looking towards the fire again.
He grabbed the empty cups he retrieved from the cave and poured hot glögg on both cups before sitting up and handing it to Elsa. "It's alcoholic I hope you don't mind."
"I don't mind." She replied emotionless as she retrieve the drink from his hands. They made themselves comfortable again before asking once more. "So, tell me about her."
With both hot cups in their hands. He looked to the fire again and began. "Hanna isn't like most women."
Somewhere in the North Sea
Princess Hanna breathed in slowly but lightly, ravishing her bodies satisfactory hormones after the intense love making she shared with her sisters in arms. She hadn't been able to sleep either as she prompted herself with her right hand resting on the back of her head.
She stood up slowly from the bed she was in, revealing that she was as naked as she was the day she was born. Her auburn hair wild and free.
But she didn't care.
After all, the only other people around her at the moment were Cassandra and her shield maidens, all of them just as naked as her, sharing the same bed with one another, cuddled like children in a sandlot. It was a miracle they could all fit in the bed in the first place.
She rose to her feet as they made the most soothing noise everytime they touched the hardwood floor from the ship with every step she made towards the window.
Cassandra flinched just a bit before she moved to the other side and cuddled next to Torvi and Lagertha. Gunnhild was naked and asleep in the other side of the bed with rest of the shield maidens.
She leaned beside the windows opening, enjoying the cool Scandinavian breeze hitting her naked body as her hair flowed like fire in the wind.
She looked over to the cabin Kristina had been staying at. The young woman at first refused to stay at Hanna's private dorms, but eventually accepted when Hanna had practically ordered her to rest.
Hopefully she didn't hear our moaning from last night. She thought to herself.
The faithful young lady in waiting proved loyal to Hanna in every way. Hanna was proud of her and respected her tremendously for her bravery.
She made a vow to Kristina that she would protect her and defend her in every way, as long as she's still alive. That no one, not even her father would have power over her.
Her arms crossed over her naked chest, Hanna relished the sounds of the waves splashing on the side of the ship, echoing the whole wood floor. It only soothed her ears and she understood why Hans preferred to be out in the sea instead of the land.
Her eyes slowly drifted upwards before she slowly looked up to the heavens, a familiar feeling filling her heart as she was met with the most beautiful yet familiar view.
The Northern Lights.
Hanna stared in awe, maintaining her seriousness as she examined the beauty before her as they moved magically in front of her.
Of course, Hanna had seen them before back home, but they weren't as prominent and beautiful there as they were right now.
She remembered how her mother would always tell Hans and her how the northern lights in Norway didn't compare at all to the other Scandinavian neighboring countries. They didn't even come close.
And she was right.
Looking at it now, she could clearly see her mother's words being confirmed in its accuracy. The northern lights under the Norwegian sky were like anything she'd ever seen. It was magical and glorious, like they were dancing in elegance.
A familiar nostalgic feeling overcame her as she looked beyond. Her memories drifting to the days her and Hans were mere children. How her mother loved them tremendously. How happy they all were.
She even remembered how she would always cuddle with them in bed, singing lullabies to them and exclaiming how the sky was awake...
She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes and feeling her mother's spirit flow through her.
The Four Peaks
He began after a long pause. "Growing up with thirteen older brothers made her skin very tough, as well as her personality. But, she isn't like the rest of us."
"What do you mean?" She replied.
"The Westergaards tend to think with our gut ninety nine percent of the time. Very head on, impatient to wait for the right attack. But Hanna... well... let's just say she prefers to think with her heart. Constantly examining different outcomes and making plans in her head before even speaking." He explained.
"And you don't?" She challenged him.
"I too prefer to study from within the crowd, examine different outcomes and planning ahead. Her and I are a lot alike in that matter. But unlike Hanna, I prefer to lead with my head, not with my heart. I avoid all the feelings that come with it." He replied.
"And how's that worked out for you?" Elsa asked with obvious shade.
"It was going well. Until three years ago." He replied throwing shade to her before hiding his smirk in the cup he raised to his mouth. Drinking the hot glögg as it ran down his throat.
Elsa barely smirked, knowing he was referring to her coronation. She too looked down at her cup before raising it to her own lips.
"You and princess Hanna seem very close." Added Elsa as she lowered her cup again. She had to admit the hot glögg wasn't bad. She was expecting it to be bitter... or poisoned...
He shrugged. "She's my twin sister. I'm destined to be close to her. Even if I don't want to be." He added with a exaggerated eye roll and sigh before taking another sip again.
She smirked slightly as a quiet snort escaped her nostrils. "She'll be happy to see you again. After all, it's been three years right?"
"I expect her to punch me in the face." Replied Hans emotionless.
Elsa's eyes furrowed, tilting her head sideways in confusion. "Is that how you two share your care towards one another?"
"Kinda.." he shrugged again. "But it's more in the fact that I stopped writing her for over a year. She'll be angry about that, that's for sure."
"Why did you stop writing her? That really didn't make sense on your part. Then again nothing you do makes sense, Hans." She added.
This time he snorted himself. "Well for one, I didn't write to her because I went back to the Southern Isles and saw her briefly, secondly-"
"Wait, hold on." Said Elsa with furrowed brows as she sat her cup of hot glögg down on the boulder beside her. "I thought you said you left to Corona and traveled all around the world..."
"I did." He said grabbing the hot glögg and shaking it around slightly before raising it to his lips again. "But I didn't travel by myself."
Elsas brows furrowed even more. "What do you mean?"
Hans smirked. His eyes landing on the hot glögg as he started moving the slice of orange around the cup, squeezing it as the juices descended to the glögg.
"It's funny how life is you know? After Eugene and Princess Rapunzel took me in and allowed me to stay in Corona in secrecy, it just so happened that Corona was going through a rather... unusual time.
Rapunzel's former lady in waiting and best friend went rogue for some reason or another and ended up coming across a Moonstone Opal. Basically this moonstone granted her powers to wield and manipulate pure moonlight. Even power over death, ruin, decay and destruction." He explained.
Elsa's eyes furrowed so deeply that even her mouth was parted open, just as confused as her stare. "Umm-"
"Look, it would take me a whole week to explain the whole story and everything that occurred. Long story short, she was motivated out of jealousy and used the power of the stone to almost wipe out the whole kingdom. Many villages were destroyed and Corona was literally about to come to an end. But Rapunzel and her made up, they saved the day and blah blah blah, they hugged it out and you know the rest." He explained as he leaned back again.
He explains things like they are cliché. He's infuriating! Thought Elsa to herself.
"Okay, wait. I actually do remember Rapunzel sending Anna and I a letter about that. Although I believe she left out that part about the magical stone..." she paused for a moment before she slowly shook her head, her mind finally catching on the memory.
"Actually no, she did tell me everything. But Rapunzel sends six to eight letter in one single envelope that it can be very overwhelming at times... I think we may have skipped a few, if not seventy percent of the letter.."
"Well there you go." He replied before taking another sip.
"So you didn't end up traveling by yourself. You traveled with someone. And I assume this someone was-"
"Cassandra."
"Yes! Cassandra... yes I remember Rapunzel always talking about her..." she added as she straightened herself, clearly more in tune with his stories this time around.
"Her and I were in very similar depositions and were seeking the same thing. To get as far away from our home kingdoms and find a better life for ourselves out in the world. We traveled together for about a year. Went to so many unique places and met many wonderful people." He explained.
He talked about her as if she was an old mate. Like two wolves in the wild trying to survive.
"She seems like she meant a lot to you..." she said suddenly.
He licked his lips and shrugged again. "I guess you can say that... I prefer to believe it was just the right time, with the right person and at the right moment. We both committed unforgivable crimes that greatly affected our kingdoms. More so me than her."
He looked towards the fire again, silence filling the air for many seconds as memories of him and Cassandra overtook his mind.
Somewhere in the North Sea
Hanna inhales the cold Scandinavian breeze one final time, soaking up the feeling of the wind hitting her naked body before she makes her way back towards her sleeping shield maidens where Cassandra was still sound asleep in the side of the bed.
Her soft feet making the most beautiful noise with each step she took on the the hard wood.
She quietly opens the sheets and slips herself right in, making herself comfortable as she cuddles behind Cassandra's naked body and hugs her stomach gently from behind, joining her once again.
She shivers from the cold but Hanna only holds her tighter, warming her up and resting her chin on her shoulder.
She cover the sheets over their bodies again as she falls fast asleep, holding Cassandra's naked body in her own naked arms.
The Four Peaks
"When we had no one, we had each other." He added before looking up at Elsa again.
His eyes were calm, somewhat relaxed as if he saw a familiar foe.
"Very poetic." She replied with a raised eyebrow as she took a large sip of her own.
Hans smirked as he grabbed the nearest tree stick and began to move the rocks in the fire around. "People always said I had a way with words. Maybe I should become a poet or a writer."
"Maybe you should." Replied Elsa sarcastically. "So you and this Cassandra were partners in crime then, traveling the world and what not."
"Partners yes, crime? Definitely not but-" He paused for a couple of seconds again as Elsa gave him a raised eyebrow with a questionable expression. Finally he slowly nodded. "Well I guess you can say we were still criminals. We had to survive somehow. Doing small jobs of bounty hunting and stopping future attacks from the criminal underworld."
Elsa raised her eyebrow at him, shorting him a questionable glare again. "Don't worry, we didn't kill, only when it was truly necessary like a man preying and abusing a young child from the market." Explained Hans as he adjusted his posture and popped his neck.
"Oh. Well in that case I would've killed him too." Added Elsa coldly, yet her answer was truthful and regal.
Hans was completely in awe by the Queen's reply. But he couldn't help but admire it and smirk a little.
"We tried to help out people and make sure they feel as safe as they could. Cassandra is an amazing swordsman. Or swordswoman to be more exact. And we always preferred to give our good to the poor too." Said Hans.
"Finding redemption on your own terms I see." Replied Elsa.
"Sometimes you have to." Replied Hans.
"Sometimes, but not all the times." Replied Elsa as she downed the rest of the hot glögg down her throat. "So you traveled with Cassandra around the world for about a year you said? What made you two go your separate ways?"
"Her heart felt satisfied after a whole year of traveling. She wanted to stay put in one place, but she wasn't ready to go back to Corona yet. Even though Rapunzel practically begged her to come back." Said Hans.
"And you weren't interested in following her example?" She asked.
"I had to remind her that my sins were greater than hers. I was unredeemable. Well, still am." Said Hans.
Elsa only stared at him, showing no emotion whatsoever. "You stayed behind?"
"I offered her safe passage to the Southern Isles so she could stay with Hanna. She was hesitant at first, nervous to be staying in a kingdom she's never stepped a foot on. But she trusted me enough to convince her that Hanna was going to take care of her." He said.
"And?" Asked Elsa.
"And she's been there ever since. I dropped her off at the borders of the Southern Isles where Hanna was waiting. We parted our separate ways and the last thing I heard from her was that she was adjusting really well and that she and Hanna had a lot in common, especially their love for combat." He explained.
"You think she'll come to Arendelle with Princess Hanna?" Asked Elsa.
"It's possible." He replied. "Cassandra is Hanna's right hand woman. Together they lead their young group of woman shield maidens."
Elsa sighed. "I'm still confused as to how your sister was able to form a legion of woman soldiers. Not that I'm complaining, all power to them. I just never expected out of a... well out of a-"
"Princess?" chuckled Hans softly. "Like I said. Hanna is not like most princesses, or woman to be more exact.
"My father would never allow such a thing." Smirked softly Elsa.
"Neither does mine but when Hanna wants something she'll go through every mountain to to get what she wants." Sighed Hans as he looked down to the fire again.
Kind of like you. She thought to herself.
Elsa was quiet for a minute as she watched the fire sparks rise in the air while the noise of crackling wood filled the air again every time they were quiet.
"What about your brothers?" She said suddenly.
In a matter of second, his eyes suddenly grew serious as he looked directly up at her as if she was exposing his dirtiest secret. "What about them."
She shrugged. "What are they like?"
"Why do you ask?" He challenged her in return.
"I'm just... curious. And the fact I discovered that some of you are half-brothers, it's clear there's a lot of tension between all of you."
"How did you-" Hans then realized how she found out and sighed with rolled eyes. "The textbook of the Southern Isles..."
"Mhm." Elsa responded with a nod of her own.
"How far did you get in the book." He asked.
"Just enough to know that your mother was the Queen of the Southern Isles as opposed to their mothers being princesses. I'm sure that brought a lot of tension in itself... right?" She asked.
Hans sighed tiredly, almost like giving up as if he was willing to answer all her questions. "Fine. What do you want to know?"
"Everything. If we're going to be working together I need to know everything about them." She retaliated.
"Why not just wait till Hanna gets here then?" He argued.
"Oh I'll ask her. Just to confirm your telling the truth." She stated as she kept her stare at him.
He smirked and shook his head. "Okay well, to start it off, there's Caleb, Jurgen, and Lars. The three eldest. Their mother is princess Ingrid of Odense Denmark, my fathers first wife."
"And the only one you get along with of the three is Lars, right?" She asked.
"Pretty much. Like I said before, Lars is a rule keeper. He's never really been problematic, just a really big book worm which can be annoying most of the time." Hans explained.
"I'm a book worm too." She retaliated.
He snickered. "Trust me, nothing compared to him. The man can read till the sun comes up. You have to stop him sometimes or else he'll forget to eat. But that's not the most important thing about him, at all. He's highly intelligent. My father admires his knowledge of other kingdoms, I mean it was him who kinda brought up the idea of going to Arendelle and court the queen after all."
Elsa breathed out a laugh with rolled eyes as Hans smirked at her. "He's married to princess from the kingdom of Stockholm isn't he? Princess Amalia?"
"Yes. They were betrothed for a long time and got married about seven years ago. They welcomed a healthy baby girl, she's about two years old I believe. He's very happy there. His father in law, the king of Stockholm thinks highly of him."
"He doesn't visit the Southern Isles much does he?" She asked.
He shook his head. "No. And I don't blame him quite frankly. I wouldn't want to visit the Isles much either if I found a new home. That place is cursed. My father gets angry at him because of that."
"What about your two oldest brothers, Caleb and Jurgen? Are they married?"
"Not Jurgen, no." Chuckled Hans. "He's always had bad luck with women, even his own betrothed he had bad luck with. They're marriage only lasted a few months.
Caleb on the other hand married at a young age to a princess from the Northern Isles, betrothed as well. She tragically died about ten years ago however."
"How'd she die?" She asked with furrowed brows.
"Horse riding accident. It was very tragic and nothing anyone could prevent. She left behind a son, Caleb's first born and only child Soren, named after our father."
"And he hasn't remarried has he?" She asked.
"No. He's been with many other women but Caleb is... complicated. Even married to his wife he was still a complicated person, making his own marriage complicated with it. At least she was able to somehow manage and know when to stop Caleb from exploding." He explained.
"What makes Caleb so complicated?" She asked.
"He's always had this responsibility of living up to my father, always living in his shadow. All of the Southern Isles expects the most of him since he is crown prince. So he takes things too serious at times. It's his way or no ones way. No one dares get in his way or he will shove you out of the way. I guess that's why him and I never got along. I don't like following directions from people who think highly of themselves."
"I've noticed." She added as Hans smirked again.
"He has a lot of anger built in him, everyone can see it. Jurgen is the only one who listens to him with exactness. He'll do anything to gain favor in Caleb's eyes." He sighed. "Which is what makes him so annoying. He never has an original thought of his own."
"What about their mother, princess Ingrid?" She asked.
"Ugh. You mean the witch?" He hissed in disgust, sticking his tongue out like he tasted the most sour apple ever.
Elsa's attention was fully on him right now as she raised her eyebrow up in curiosity. "Not a fan I assume."
"She's just as bad as Caleb, in fact probably worse. She always tried to control my father and she possesses lust for power. I remember how much she loathed my mother because my father chose her as queen, and not her, his first wife."
"Is she still around?" She asked.
"Not really. She left the Isles many years ago, thank God." He added. "She even stopped visiting Caleb, Jurgen and Lars for many years now, she gave up on my father for never making Caleb king. They're technically still married but I'm sure she's fine though, what royal isn't?"
"What about the others?" She asked.
"Next up, there's number four, five and six. Franz, Günter, and Erik. Their mother is Princess Helga of Reykjavik Iceland." He said with obvious disgust in his voice.
"Princess Helga... she sounds like you aren't fond of her either." Smirked Elsa.
"Oh believe me, I'm not." Scoffed Hans. "She's not as bad Ingrid, but she's still very annoying. Just a nasty woman who constantly bad mouths everyone."
Franz, the fourth oldest is his own person, much like Caleb in the sense that he doesn't like to be told what to do. But he too desires to be king. Günter on the other hand is more of a hot head. Always talking louder than others and ready to brawl with the next person who looks at him funny. And Erik? Eh, well Erik is Erik."
"What does that mean?"
"It means he doesn't care for or trusts anyone, he would rather leave the Isles and go back to scamming people out of their money. He's a great warrior though, very strategic in the battle field. His time in the Southern Isles army taught him to trust no one." He explained.
"It seems your brothers all know how to fight." She added.
"We've learned since a young age, practically all of us had to serve in some military branch too." He replied.
"Interesting. And who's next after those three?" She asked.
"After that, there's probably the least interesting of the bunch, Axel, and the first set of twins, Rudi and Runo. Their mother is princess Margrét of Helsinki Finland."
"Rudi and Runo are the ones you mentioned that encountered Rapunzel in Corona, right?" Asked Elsa.
"Yes, and believe me that's the only accomplishment those two idiots ever had." Said Hans as Elsa erupted into slight chuckles. "Axel on the other hand has a massive ego, thinks he's the most handsome one and the best thing that's ever happened. He can't go five seconds without sharing his bed with women, even married ones."
"And their mother?" She asked.
"She makes me want to cut my ears off." Grunted Hans as Elsa covered her mouth to hide her chuckles.
"Does her voice sound that horrible?" Asked Elsa.
"Imagine a horse running it's hoofs through a field full of manure..." Elsa immediately erupted into laughter as she covered her mouth at Hans serious yet comedic comparison. "I'm serious! She constantly whines about everything. Very high maintenance and even goes as far as defending her idiot sons when they almost had Princess Rapunzel killed."
"I must admit that our all your brothers these three seem less interesting.." she admitted.
"Yeah they kinda do their own thing. Although my brother Caleb does take advantage of using Rudi and Runo's admirable strength. Those two can carry trees in their shoulders all day if they need do."
"And then there's three more right." She asked.
"Yes, then there's Emil, Ivar... and Björn."
"Björn..." repeated Elsa as she leaned forward, resting her hands on her chin. Her attention was focused on Hans. "I've always loved that name."
"Well you'd love him as a person too." Replied Hans.
"Why's that?" She asked.
"Because he's the only brother I actually like, next to Lars of course. But Björn and I are so close in age that he's always been respectful to me. He's a good man."
"Hmm..."
"What?" He asked with furrowed brows.
"It's just... I never imagined you speaking highly of a brother... I just assumed you liked none of them." She replied.
"And that statement is still true. But Björn is different. Him, Hanna and I share the same values and even morals. He too sees that the Westergaards are a problematic family. He tends to not enjoy the royal life and leaves as soon as he's able to." He explained.
"Hmm, interesting. And what about the other two? Do you get along with them as well??" She asked.
"Emil is more of a babysitter. He just does what he's told and tends to avoid confrontation. He'll only prefer to fight when it's absolutely necessary. But that's where the problem lies with him. He's always switching sides and can never conjure up a thought of his own, so he prefers to stick to the old ways of the Southern Isles."
And Ivar?" She asked.
Hans inhaled deeply as he looked up to the stars as old and disturbing memories filled his mind. His expression serious. "Ivar... Ivar, Ivar Ivar..."
"Hmm, that doesn't sound good." She replied.
"It isn't. Ivar is... probably the worst out of all of us."
Elsa's eyes furrowed. "How so?"
"Ivar is angrier than all of us. He's always hated being overshadowed by any brother, regardless of age or title. He believes in his heart he's supposed to be the crown prince, even over Caleb. And he's very cruel."
"Cruel?"
"He once killed a priest in battle by opening his mouth and pouring hot, molten gold down his throat. That gold belonged to the priest's cross." He explained.
Elsa's eyes widened as her mouth fell open. "Oh my... that's-"
"Horrible? Oh yeah, trust me. Even for me, that's too far. Ivar is clinically insane. He'll kill anyone to get what he wants. His poor mother tries everything to make sure he doesn't snap one day."
"Who's his mother?" She asked.
"Princess Signe of Uppsala Sweden, mother of all three. And unlike all three other step mothers, she's actually... normal. Very beautiful too. She also thinks badly of Ingrid, even Helga. And Margrét she can't stand either. It's one thing her and my mother always could bond over."
"Björn's mother and your mother where friends then?" She asked.
"More like acquaintances. They created a mutual respect towards each other, making sure they wouldn't become as bad as my fathers other wives. They watched each other's backs when it was necessary, and stayed out of each other's ways too." He explained.
Elsa sighed heavily. "I just can't imagine what it's like being a wife to a king like your father. I mean your talking about having not just tension between your brothers, but also between the mothers."
"Pretty much. The Westergaards are all full of tension. The only ones I truly trust out of my whole family are Hanna and Björn. Lars is more of an unpredictable ally. Oh and Nanna. She's the family servant and makes the best glögg known to mankind. Even better than mine." He smirked.
Elsa breathed out a laugh again as she tiredly looked to the ground, she hadn't realized they had been talking for so long before she sighed deeply as she slowly stood up to her feet. "Well, I suppose I should return to Arendelle before Anna realizes I'm gone."
"Good idea. Don't want Anna having a heart attack now do we?" Asked Hans as he too stood up on his feet. Elsa was staring at him, unamused by his words. "Sorry.." he added, realizing how the innocent comment hit a nerve with Elsa, considering the fact that her frozen heart almost killed her.
Elsa turned to leave but she stopped suddenly as a thought overcame her brain. She turned back to look at him, fire and seriousness in her eyes.
"Hans." She said suddenly.
He looked up at her with curious eyes of his own. He could see the seriousness in her expression.
"Whatever happens tomorrow, I want you to know that if you betray me in any way, shape or form. I will kill you. And I'll do it in front of Hanna if I have to.
Hans smirked. His eyes soft and tired. "I'd expect nothing less from you, Queen Elsa."
Silence overcame them again as they stared at one another. Finally she turned away and left into the darkness where she met the Nokk waiting for her.
Hans reached in tiredly and deeply as he poured cold water on the fireplace and made his way into the he cave where he decided he was going to be sleeping.
He felt fast asleep once his body touched the cold ground. How he missed sleeping on the ground. His body was too used to it. Before he knew it, the cave was echoing his life snoring.
Arendelle
Once she returned to Arendelle, Elsa unfroze and said farewell to the Nokk, who returned to the water. Elsa then headed straight to Anna's room, changed back into her nightgown, braided her hair again. and quietly crawled back into the bed occupied by her sister, who was drooling and snoring, just like she was before she left her.
She was gone for over two hours but it's as if she was only gone for a couple minutes. Because she found herself staring up at the ceiling again as she reflected her conversation with Hans she too also closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Somewhere in the North Sea
The early morning wind was cool and refreshing as they caused the waves to splash the side of the ship and drift it further towards north.
There in the front of the ship, stood the beautiful and mysterious young woman. Her posture relaxed yet tense as she rubbed her fingers on a small yet fancy clock.
It's material and features could only be purchased by an individual with lots of money, or a royal to be more exact.
There, in front of the ship, it was Cassandra who was looking out at the sea, her eyes lost in the waters as they reflected memories in front of her.
So many emotions running through her head. So many different feelings All conjoined into one. Her mind wandering and remembering that night. Her last night with him.
Madrid,Spain
Two years ago
The elegant clock moved its points past twelve before he closed it and stuffed it in his pocket again. He was constantly checking the time every chance he got. It drove her insane in the beginning, but even she started getting in the habit of even asking him.
It was helpful knowing what time it was back home. Denmark and Germany shared the same time zone so it gave her comfort knowing what Rapunzel could be doing throughout the day depending on the time.
The soft and warm water drew closer to the beach and to their feet as the full moon shined below them. They had grown weary and separated themselves on the other side of the beach from the large and loud group.
The Spaniards knew how to party. It was already one in the morning and many of them were still dancing, singing and even eating. They're culture was so vibrant and colorful, very different from where the two of them originated from.
They were a happy yet prideful people. They usually weren't keen on welcoming strangers from other countries, even neighboring ones. But Cassandra and Hans were different. The townspeople owed them their lives for their help and protection.
The fire in front of them was drifting away as did the last of the sparred tree branches. But both of them didn't need to put more. The brightness of the moon seemed to help give them light at the moment.
None of them said a word. They weren't tired, nor were they even awake. It had been a rather weird couple of weeks. Cassandra hadn't been her usual self for a couple weeks now.
She'd been a lot more reserved and seeming to do things her own way. Usually she was looking forward to the next country or destination but instead she was more snappy.
On the contrary she was always like that but it seemed more clearer than usual. Even the sex was rather dull. Usually they were a lot more famished for pleasure. Especially her. They always tried wild and new things, even inviting others to join them in bed too.
Wait... he thought to himself. Weird hormones, reserved personality, dull sex. She's not...
"Westergaard." Came the sudden voice. Smooth, sexy yet authoritative.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!?" He exclaimed suddenly and quickly. He shot her a look with widened eyes. Fear and anxiety filling his pours.
Cassandra brows furrowed in his disgust and she moved her head back. "Ewww! No!" She exclaimed. "Why would I be pregnant? Did you hit your head this morning?
"Wait, Cass... are you actually pregnant..." He whispered in fear.
SLAP!
"Ow!" Exclaimed Hans as he held his now brightened cheek. The stinging of her slap lingering more than usual.
"What the hells wrong with you, of course I'm not pregnant! Are you insane!?" She hissed at him.
Hans rubbed his cheek softly. "I-I just thought.."
"We've been having sex for over a year now, Westergaard. Unprotected and without care. Do you really think if I were pregnant with your child it would've happened already?" She argued.
"I guess.." Muttered Hans as he rubbed the back of his head.
"If anything you should be worried about the dozen of other woman who could be pregnant with your child." Smirked Cassandra as she poked jokes at him. Hans looked up at her unamused with a deadpanned face as she erupted into laughter. "All those woman we invited to bed every week? I'm sure there's more than a dozen little Westergaard's running around in every continent.
"All right, all right. I get it, okay?" Retaliated Hans bitterly as Cassandra erupted into more laughter. "I'm just... curious as to why you've been off these last couple of weeks. I mean you're usually planning our next voyage by now."
Cassandra's laughter finally settled down as she wiped a tear away. She took a long deep breath before looking at her hands again. "I've just been thinking..."
"Really? Didn't think you were capable of such a thing." Replied Hans sarcastically.
Cassandra rolled her eyes and smirked before standing to her feet and moving closer to him, sitting right beside him under the moon.
She was wearing less clothes than usual. She received a beach skirt from one of the townspeople and even took off her trousers. As far as Hans was concerned, the only thing she was wearing was that beach skirt.
Hans pressed his lips together. He could tell this had been on Cassandra's mind for a while and that this was serious even she wasn't shooting a sarcastic comment of her own in return.
"I've just been thinking that... I think it's time we finally settle down." She finally said.
Hans pressed his brows together. "You mean like... get married?"
"No, not get married you big DOOFUS." Retaliated Cassandra with rolled and annoyed eyes. "I mean more like... stop running away."
Hans said nothing for a while as he stared at her. She in return stated at him back patiently as he took in the information. "You want to go back to Corona."
"No. No I can't go back to Corona... not yet anyways." Sighed Cassandra.
"Why not? I'm sure Rapunzel is just as desperate to see you again." He replied.
"I just... can't. Not right now." She argued.
"Then I don't quite understand what you are referring to, Cass. I mean the whole idea in this is that we get away from our past. Are you not happy? I thought you loved exploring new cultures."
"I do! It's just..." she sighed as she leaned forward, crossing her feet together as she started to play with a burn branch. "I was just thinking that it'd be nice to stay put for a while. Find somewhere I can work and maybe start training again?"
"You train with me all the time." Argued Hans, this time leaning and pointing at himself.
"That's not the same." Said Cassandra smirking at him, staring at his green eyes before her smirk slowly fell. "You're a great warrior Westergaard... One of the greatest I've ever met. You've taught me so many things I didn't think I could learn."
"I know all that." Replied Hans arrogantly while Cassandra followed it up with a laugh of her own, they understood each other's humor so perfectly.
"I've always known I could fight. But with all these new skills I've developed and everything you've taught me, I think it'd be nice to open up a school and teach young woman to fight. Maybe join the military? Besides my adventure of travels was only going to be temporary..." Added Cassandra.
"So that's why you want to stay put. You want a real job." Replied Hans.
"What Im trying to say is that I've found my destiny." Smiled Cassandra at him. "And besides, don't you want a real job? Don't you miss sailing as an admiral?
"I do plenty of sailing now with the boat we were able to purchase."
"You mean steal." Argued Cassandra with rolled eyes.
"You know what I mean." Retaliated Hans.
"That's exactly my point, Westergaard." Sighed Cassandra. "We can't keep depending on foreigners on what to eat or where to sleep. We need something more secure. And being a bounty hunters will only get us worse reputation than what we already have."
Hans sighed after a long minute of silence. She was right. If they continue this same life then they aren't going to end up well. Word is going to go around the criminal underworld and then they'll have bounties on top of their own heads.
What was the whole point of that?
"You're right." He said as Cassandra turned to look at him with a surprised yet soft expression. Did he just say what she thought she heard him say?
"Wow. Never thought I'd see the day you'd admit I'm right. Can you repeat that again? I think I misunderstood-"
"You heard me the first time." Said Hans rolling his eyes. "Continuing this life will just get us nowhere. Chaos will create more chaos. And you can't have that for your life."
"Neither can you." She argued as Hans chuckled at the comment. "Face it Westergaard. You and I can't keep running away. Because at the end I think that whatever redemption we seek, we must find on our own."
Hans sighed. "You really think that?"
Cassandra nodded. "I do." She pressed her lips and looked to the ground, a tiny bit of sadness filling her heart. "But I know you don't think that... do you..."
Hans shook his head slowly. "No. No I don't." He inhaled deeply and looked towards the splashing current, now barely touching their bare toes. "There is no redemption for me, Cassandra. And I've accepted that. You were forgiven before you left Corona. I was not. My crimes are too large for the world to forget about."
"You don't know what." Replied Cassandra softly.
"Actually I do." Inhaled Hans. "I have no destiny because... quite frankly I don't feel bad for what I did..."
"I don't believe that for a second." Replied Cassandra after a long minute as Hans turned to look at her. His eyebrows furrowed. "You have so much planned for you, Westergaard. I can see it. You are destined for something big."
"I don't believe in destiny, Cass." Argued Hans. "Man is free to choose his own will. His own destiny."
"I agree. But what you're doing isn't destiny. What you're doing is running." Retaliated Cassandra.
Hans has nothing to say about that. He stayed quiet for a minute again before sighing and speaking up. "Well, if man if free to choose his own destiny then where are you going exactly."
"Not sure..." she replied softly. "As much as I love Spain, they're laws are too outdated. There's no way they'd let a woman like me teach other woman to defend themselves. Or join the military nonetheless."
"France?" Hans smirked.
"Oh God no. I can't stand the smell of Paris." Replied Cassandra with disgust as Hans chuckled at the funny memory when Cassandra felt sick the whole time they stayed in Paris. She was puking for three days straight.
"Japan?"
"Mmm, tempting." She replied.
"How about Israel." He suggested. Although the tone of his voice all felt like a test.
"I love Israel. Some of the most caring people. But... I don't think I'd want to live in Jerusalem for so long." Replied Cassandra.
"Well... there's one place you haven't mentioned." Said Hans.
"Oh yeah, where?" She challenged.
"The one place you'd feel belonged in. Somewhere where they share the same vision as you." He replied.
She thought long and hard for a moment before she finally snickered and rolled her eyes, even shooting him a devilish smirk. She knew exactly what he was referring to. "The Southern Isles..."
"Precisely." He replied with his devilish smirk.
"I don't know... I've never been to the Isles."
"Well now is your chance. And I know just the person who will be able to take you in." He replied.
"Who?" She retaliated arrogantly. "The magic tooth fairy?"
"No." He retaliated just as darkly. "Hanna."
She snickered and chuckled lightly as she looked up to the stars above. "You're sister right? I don't know man... the only thing you've mentioned to me is that she's not like your brothers at all and loves inspiring other woman. Which by the way isn't a bad thing-"
"And believe me she does. Like you she loves a challenge and loves to combat as much as she can. She teaches a small group of woman in the Southern Isles and how to defend themselves. She even has a great belief that one day the Isles will accept woman soldiers." He said.
"She's a smart woman. It's ridiculous that woman can't join the military simply for being a woman. I mean it's like they forget the famous Chinese legendary woman warrior, Mulan. Which by the way is a true story! I mean when I was in Corona they would allow woman to join the kings royal guard." She exclaimed.
"And now you have a chance to inspire others. Think about it, the Southern Isles is the place just for you. I won't even have to convince Hanna. Believe me. She's going to help you get settled and you'll learn a lot from her." He promised.
"And what about you." She deadpanned softly. "I don't assume you would return to the Southern Isles with me..."
"No..." he shook his head again. "I can't ever return there, Cass. I plan on continuing in this journey alone and stick to our original plans of crossing the Mediterranean Sea."
"I wouldn't want to be a hassle... Leaving to the Southern Isles and meeting your sister seems... unexpected to say the least." She said timidly but boldly.
"Believe me, Cass." Said Hans staring at her gray colored eyes again as she looked up at him tenderly. "Hanna will help you. I promise you won't regret it."
She sighed again and looked at his eyes. Her obvious sarcasm and humor already sparkling in her gray eyes. "And you'll come with right?"
"Cass..."
"I'm kidding..." she smirked sadly. "It was worth a shot at least." Smiled Cass before looking up to the moon again. Both up sitting close to each other as it's bright and beautiful lights shined down on the two of them.
Hans smiled softly at her. He reached for his pocket and pulled out the watch. She closed her eyes, already expecting that familiar sound of the opening clock to check the time. But she heard nothing.
"Here."
Her eyes opened and immediately they widened when she saw the small watch clock on his left hand, extended for her to take. "It's yours."
She did not expect this, not in the slightest. She looked up at him with confused eyes but he only stayed firm and assured.
"But... it's your watch..." She replied as she looked at him with furrowed brows.
"And now it's yours." Smiled Hans as he took her small hands in his large ones before he placed the mechanical clock in her hands. "I know you always thought me weird for carrying this old this around. Quite frankly it's my grandfathers, and like him, it's pointless and worthless to me. But it's helpful knowing the time always, wherever you are."
He slowly removed his hand from hers as she held it with both hands, watching the arrow move in a full circle, a small smirk appearing in the corner of her lips.
"I even wrote down all the time zones in every continent on the backside. So wherever I'm at, you'll have an idea by this clock." He smiled at her.
She looked up at him again, ever her gray eyes were smiling. "Thank you." She said softly.
He turned his soft gaze back up to the sky above them as she did the same.
It's as if there were two moons in front of them. One in the dark sky, shining down on them, and the other in the waters, reflecting the one above.
They were both beautiful.
"Well, I guess that's it, then." Said Hans after a long moment. "Come tomorrow morning I'll take you to the Southern lsles. We should get some rest. We've got a long journey ahead of us."
Indeed they did. It would take at least a whole twenty four hours to get to the Scandinavian Peninsula again.
But she wasn't ready to go. Not before she got what she wanted. Not before she showed him how much he meant to her. Not before one final goodbye.
"Not yet." She said suddenly after a minute of silence. Smiling at him gently and lovingly. "Not without a parting gift."
His brows furrowed. The statement caught his attention but he had no idea what she was referring to.
"What parting g-" Hans cut himself off and slightly gasped when he felt Cassandra's soft yet firm grip on his his crotch. He saw the sexy smirk on Cassandra's face, her gray eyes lusting for him, that familiar expression he knew too well. She was famished. And she was hungry for his body.
His eyes widened. She was sexual when she needed to be. But tonight... tonight he could see clearly how desperate she wanted it. More than most other nights.
"Looks like someone is in the mood again." Replied Hans sarcastically with a devilish brow raised as Cassandra started rubbing and feeling his groin much harder.
"Oh, Westergaard. You should already know by now." She said drawing closer to his ear. Leaving trails of soft kisses of her lips up his neck until it reached his ear. "I'm always in the mood." She whispered sexually.
Shivers ran down Hans spine as Cassandra ran her tongue up Hans cheek before pushing him down on the sand.
He grunted as his back touched the sand. She stood up over him. Her grin filled with desire as she put her naked foot on top of his chest. She slowly ran her foot down his strong, defined chest, down to his stomach before reaching his groin.
"Tell me, Westergaard." She began as she kept feeling his groin around with her feet. Her strong pale legs exposed higher as she moved her feet down, forcing the light see through skirt to rise higher. "What on earth are you going to do without me."
"Same thing I've been doing." He replied with a grunt as the currents reached the beach, touching their feet and legs.
"Mmm. Pretty bold statement of you." She said as she unwrapped the beach skirt covering her exposed bottoms. Now wearing nothing below the waist except a thin and short undergarment.
"I'm a pretty bold guy." He retaliated.
"So I've heard." She smirked at him as she slowly dropped to her knees in from of him. "And yet the curiosity remains... how will you survive without me."
She started pulling down his trousers, his undergarments along with it as his dark haired happy trail exposed perfectly length hair on his V shaped abdomen. "Who's going to satisfy my needs, and satisfy yours." She added.
"Easy, we'll find other people." He said as he lifted himself up just slightly so Cassandra can pull the trousers off completely. "Just like we usually do when we get sick of each other.
Hans full and large length stood up right in front of Cassandra as she eyed it with glee and desire. She grabbed his length with her right hand, warm and firm. Large in stature and long in exactness.
"I've never met a man quiet like you, Westergaard." She said as she started stroking his long legth in front him slowly. Her hand running up and down with firmness yet softness. Continuous movement while moving her wrist from side to side.
His breathing was soft yet hungry. Her soft hands making the skin to skin contact all the more heavenly as she stared up at him and then back at his length. She did this for several more seconds until she leaned forward, just inches away from his erect manhood touching her face.
"Never." She whispered once more before swallowing his manhood whole in one go.
He gasped and a stuttered breath escaped his lips as he watched Cassandra fit his largeness down her throat. His head leaned back on the sand as the water currants moved closer to them, even getting his back wet, and her wet. All while she continued to make his length wet with her saliva.
She started off slow. Feeling around his mouth with her tongue. Bobbing her head up and down, savoring the sweet manhood in her mouth like a satisfying taste filling her hunger.
He grunted the faster she went, opening her mouth wide as she let her saliva fall to the tip. She multitasked with her hand as she maneuvered his manhood in motion, stroking it while she continued to go deeper. Purposely gagging herself with it as she spat on it, filling it with her mouth.
She loved being in control and so did Hans. The two always fought for that privilege. But tonight was her night. She owned his body completely.
She tortured him. Squeezing his balls, spitting on it continually and gagging herself. She continued the act for five minutes, looking up at him, enjoying the satisfying groans and grunts that came out of his mouth, loving the view of his his mouth parted open in satisfaction. His eyes rolled in pleasure.
And he on the other hand loved the view in front of him. His manhood growing harder every time she looked at him with her sexy gray eyes. Purposely gagging his manhood and popping it out from the inside of her cheek.
She knew what he loved. And she loved satisfying him because it made her all the more wet.
She popped it out of her mouth, holding the largeness in her hand as she continued to stroke it. Before she sat up again. All while Hans looked up at her again. She was hungrier than ever.
"Tonight is our last night together, Westergaard. Just you and me, no other woman involved, as much as I love woman... Tonight I want you to take me and give me your all. I want you to treat me like the woman of your dreams. And I want you to not stop... until I tell you to..." She whispered. Kissing his defined chest up to his neck before filling her mouth full of saliva into his.
He kissed just as passionately back, biting her lips as she did the same. Sucking his tongue while Hans grabbed her bare bottom before grabbing a handful of the back of her hair and pulling backwards, declining her kisses as Cassandra moaned in pleasure from Hans's rough and strong grip.
"Get on your back than and let me show you." He growled as he grabbed her throat, pinning her to the sand just hard enough as he looked over her.
She bit her lip and smirked at his toughness as he started slightly choking her, fondling his hands all over her chest as the currant reached them completely. Getting them wet and stuck with sand.
She groaned and moaned as he licked and nibbled on her rose colored nipples. Making his way down her stomach. Kissing it, licking it before he made a stop on her womanhood.
Than with his teeth he pulled down the undergarment, brushing his lips on top of her perfect trimmed dark hairs. He kissed down until he reached the pink layers of her womanhood and began to eat her like he had been starving for days.
Cassandra groaned and sighed as Hans long tongue went to work. His lips making the sexiest and richest noise known to her ears as he explored the inside of her womanhood.
He ravished at the taste of the friction. His tongue moving in a dancing movement as it played with her Clitoris. She moaned with intense pleasure as she guided his head, pulling on his hair harshly.
And this he did for several minutes until she reached climax. She moaned and hot breaths escaped her lips as he continued to eat her out. They were drained, and not in their sweat, but with the oceans water. That had reached their bodies.
Not at all caring how wet they were, they stripped out of their clothes. His defined body showed through the white and wet sleeved shirt. He threw it out of the way as his defined body shined in front of Cassandra. The moons light making his body glow like he was a God.
To her, he was a God.
He immediately wasted no time while she was still in climax and stuck his large manhood inside her. Sliding it gently in as warmness connected the two before he was finally all in. Cassandra's moaning grew louder as Hans continued to slide it back and forth, moving his hips in rhythm.
Her toes curled and she moaned load as he went further, harder and faster. She wrapped her legs around him. Clawing his back and holding hit the buttocks with her nails.
Anything went when the two had sex. Hair pulling, scratching, biting and even slapping. Cassandra loved how much Hans could take. She never met anyone who was capable of withstanding such pain and torment from her sexual desires.
Her butt had the largest and reddest handprint from the amount of slaps she took from Hans. He has battle scars all over his back. And not just from the Navy, but from her. From her teeth and her nails.
She rose him in reversal, moving her butt up and down as many times as she wanted as he stayed tormented in her grip. Forced to not cum but take the view of her backside riding his manhood.
He took her from behind. Grabbing her waist as he rode her like a wild dog, pulling her hair and holding her wrist as he continued sliding his manhood in and out. And she only wanted more of him.
And this they did for many hours. They wrestled each other for the right to be on top, to be in control, to dominate one another.
And when Cassandra reached her final and biggest climax, she let out a loud moan, her eyes rolled back and her head high in the heavens as Hans grunted and lifted his hips, letting out a moan himself, filling his seed inside her.
Once the sex drive was finally gone and the panting settled down. Cassandra looked down on Hans, who was looking at her. His breathing still heavy while Cassandra still sat on top of him.
She inhaled deeply, fixing a black curly lock behind her ear before she did the most shocking thing Hans could ever imagine her doing.
She leaned down slowly and kissed him tenderly on the lips. She kissed him.
Hans was without words and it was the most unusual thing he's ever experienced with her. Sure they kissed whenever they had sex. But all that was out of pleasure. This, this was different...
It wasn't a romantic kiss. It was a kiss of love. But not of feelings, but of friendship. A kiss that connected her with him forever in some way or another.
A token of gratitude.
As soon as the kiss happened, it was over in a blink of an eye. He stared at her confused, without words mouth open but none came out.
She stared at him lovingly, but not romantically. Her gray eyes no longer lusting in hunger, but full of gratitude and love. It was the first time he's ever seen Cassandra show any kind of emotion.
She then slowly bent over, still laying on top of his manhood, her face on his chest as she closed her eyes and the words that came out of her mouth were meaningful.
"I'm gonna miss you, Hans." She whispered softly before she fell fast asleep.
It was the first time she ever called him by his first name. He said nothing and only let her fall asleep on his chest, and as soon as he heard her lights snoring he gently moved her to the beach and covered her with his shirt and the blanket so she wouldn't be cold nor seen naked.
Hans then put on his trousers again and sat on the beach, the currents returning back to their normal state and no longer hitting them.
And he sat there, staring out to the ocean as the moon shined down on him.
Somewhere in the North Sea
Her mind drifted back to reality. Her hand still on top of the handle of her blade as she leaned to her side, reliving the memory like it just happened yesterday.
"Cass?
Cassandra blinked and shook her head as she quickly closed the mechanical clock and stuffed it in her pocket before turning to look at Torvi who was walking to the front of the deck.
"Are you okay?" She asked with furrowed brows.
"Yeah. Yeah I'm-I'm fine." Cassandra quickly answered as she straightened herself and smiled gently at her.
"Okay." Replied Torvi with a gentle smile of her own. The two were interrupted until the familiar noise of flapping feathered wings.
Hoo
Cassandra smiled again as the small companion landed on her shoulder, shaking its little torso and getting itself comfortable.
"Hey, buddy! I was wondering when you were gonna wake up." She teased, petting Owl with her finger as it hooed again.
But Torvi's eyes suddenly furrowed when she noticed the view in front of her. Chills ran down her spine as her eyes slightly widened. "Cass." She called out with an alarming tone.
Cassandra turned to Torvi and saw her pointing behind her. And by the way her expressions seemed at the moment, it was clear that whatever was behind her was very important and even intriguing.
She turned around and she could clearly understand now why Torvi had the expression on her face.
There, just a thousand yards in front of them, they could see a tiny spec of kingdom, but not just any kingdom. It was clear by the way the fjords were closing in on them with each yard they advanced that they were approaching they're destination.
Arendelle.
"Torvi, go get Hanna." Demanded Cass. Torvi immediately no did as she was told as she marched down the ships steps and into the cabins where the rest of the woman were in.
Cassandra stared at the approaching kingdom with intensity in her eyes. Her heartbeat starting to grow faster as each second went by.
"Go check it out buddy, tell me what you find and be careful." Said Cassandra as she gently tapped her owl's chest. The feathered companion immediately took off as it started sailing north through the enormous fjords and towards the kingdom as Cassandra inhaled a deep breath.
Arendelle
It was a calm and peaceful Monday morning. Even the staff weren't making as much noise as usual. Elsa and Anna had been inside their fathers study since they awoke and had changed into their dresses for the morning.
There in their fathers large desk, Elsa sat on top, dangling her feet once again, and this time even Anna was on top, her feet crossed together as if they were solving the last piece of the puzzle.
But they weren't doing a puzzle per say. Instead they were going over construction of a new bridge, just outside of the old Odin's Pub.
"It's not a bad location if you think about it." Said Anna as she tapped her mouth with her finger. The young strawberry blonde queen had relaxed ever since Elsa by surprise a few days ago.
She could be herself around Elsa and behind closed doors. She didn't have to act as "queenly" like she usually did in public or with the council. Sitting on top of a table, even her own fathers study like she was a little girl again meant that she was being herself.
"Won't the elderly home just across be an issue? They usually get snappy whenever they hear too much noise during their nap time." Added Elsa.
"Not if we add ducks in the pond, that'll distract them from even trying to argue." Replied Anna.
Elsa snickered and shook her head at Anna's comment. And the funniest thing was that she knew Anna wasn't kidding around. She was a obsessed with ducks, ever since she was a little girl. Even going as far as raising a family on her own.
"Oh Anna." Chucked Elsa.
"What! I'm serious!" Exclaimed Anna with her expression as serious as her voice. "You'd be surprised how ducks can cure people's personal problems believe me!"
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Elsa's laughing died down when the fast yet somewhat loud knocks echoed the door.
"Come in!" Anna called.
The door opened rather hard and Mattias entered quickly, his breathing fast and his expression worrisome as he marched forward. "Your majesties." Breathed out Mattias with a deep and quick bow.
Just behind him ran Damien, he too with the same expression as his uncle. He quickly joined Mattias's side as he too bowed in reverence.
"General Mattias. Is something wrong? You two look like you've seen a ghost." Said Anna with furrowed brows as she moved her feet from the desk before she hopped off and stood up to her feet. Elsa likewise stepped down and straightened herself elegantly.
"Your majesties.. we've come to inform you that one of Arendelle's sailors caught glimpse of a large and fine ship approaching our borders this morning during their drills. They're moving at tremendous speed." Explained Mattias.
"Really? Who's ship does it belong to? Are they're any canons, weapons or suspicious activity aboard?" Asked Anna as she stepped forward, Elsa following close behind, she too as curious as her.
"I'm afraid they couldn't catch any of those things Your majesty, but they did see a flag.." He replied.
"What flag?" Asked Anna as she folded her arms in front of her, still with curious and furrowed brows.
Mattias didn't reply right away. It took him a moment to sum up the courage to inform the news. He too was as shocked as any of his men.
"What flag, general?" Demanded Anna.
Mattias couldn't find the words to say, so instead his nephew did. "The flag belonged to The Southern Isles, your majesty."
Anna and Elsa's eyes widened. Her heart dropped like a bomb as it hit her stomach. Even Elsa couldn't believe how fast she responded to Anna's request. She thought it'd take her at least another week before agreeing.
She turned to look at her sister and she looked as sick as she did that time she devoured all her stock socket candy on Christmas morning. Her breathing was rising by the second, fighting her nerves as she tried to maintain her cool.
She didn't expect Princess Hanna to arrive so early, let alone even accept her letter of invitation to Arendelle. With all the thoughts running in her mind, she didn't even realize that the whole castle staff had gathered outside her fathers castle. Gerda and Kai were beside Mattias, just as anxious as anyone else.
"Anna.." called out Elsa in light but tender whisper to her sister who was still without words, staring into outer space as if she was looking for a solution. "Anna, the people are waiting for your command..."
Anna cleared her throat and opened her mouth but no words came. Any sense of mental preparation she had, had slipped from her mind and she was left feeling numb.
Elsa was right. The second she looked up she could see all her staff staring at her with the same worried expression as their fellow neighbor next to them. They were waiting for Anna to give the order.
And then it hit her.
Fear.
It felt as if her soul was being stripped away from her. Piece by piece. The anxiety in her core building up as it reached her throat. She feared she might've even have gone dumb, never to speak again.
But then she heard his voice. His sweet, gentle and strong voice.
"Queen Anna!" He came rushing through the castles staff, sticking out like a sore thumb because of his large stature. He was clothed in the same way of the fall festival before Elsa's unpredictable incident where she summoned the spirits.
He reached the front of the crowd, shoving those in front of him so he can see her.
Her mountain man. Better than any knight in shining armor. He had gone out of his way to clean up and be presentable. He was ready to help. He was there for her. She was in disbelief.
"Queen Anna. We're ready for your command." He said, just as confidently as the first time. He stood with such regalness. The royal lessons were paying off.
The fear and anxiety that was starting eat her left her body like the wind. She breathed out a emotional breath, following it up with a beautiful smile.
He stared at her, smirking just enough so she can only notice it as he nodded his head. Regardless of their previous arguments and disagreements they've been encountering for the past two weeks. He still showed up and was ready to serve her.
He believed in her.
And that's all she needed. His faith. Elsa's faith and her people's faith.
With all that to her advantage, she straightened herself and popped her neck in place. Crack! Crack! She adjusted her shoulders, fists to her side as she looked up at Mattias again. Fire burning in her turquoise eyes.
She was Anna, Queen of Arendelle, daughter to King Agnar and Queen Iduna, sister to Queen Elsa. She feared no man nor woman.
"General, prepare your men. Give them orders to take their positions and hold their ground unless I give the order and make sure you double the amount of men to meet at the docks with navy." Anna said almost immediately before she turned to Kai.
"Kai, have a minimum of two servants per room in the whole castle. Make sure they're well prepared serve at the maximum they can without saying no. The other extra servant will just be one of General Mattias men undercover, just like we had planned."
Elsa was without words, her mouth somewhat parted in awe as Anna continued. "And Gerda, go with Kai and make sure tell the other maid servants that tonight is all hands on deck. We're going to need all the help we get. Okay?"
The whole castle staff was quiet. Even Elsa and Kristoff were without words. She sounded just like their father. The way he spoke, his mannerism, his commands. Everything.
None of them said a word for several moments. This was a different Queen Anna, someone they've never encountered before yet they could very well see the resemblance between her and King Agnarr.
Anna furrowed her brows and raised one up with an exaggerated shrug. "What the hell are we standing and waiting around for? A cookie? Let's go, go, go!"
She clapped her hands while demanding so and immediately the castle that was peaceful and calm this morning suddenly became busy and wild. Anna took off and started making her way into the hall.
A still and shocked Elsa quickly shook her head and started following Anna behind.
"Gerda, for this mornings breakfast made sure we arranged to sit in a way that we are all comfortable with." Said Anna as she continued to walk fast through the hectic and noisy halls.
"Anna!" Called out Elsa as she tried to keep up with her fast pace, going through the crowd of people in the hall.
"And while you're at it inform the damn council of what's going on. Tell them to meet me at the docks in five minutes, no later!" Shouted Anna as Gerda picked up her dress and ran to do what she was told.
"Anna-"
"General Mattias!" Called out Anna to the general who had been giving orders to several of his men. He quickly turned around to her, ready for instructions. "I want you to stress to your soldiers the important of this visit from princess Hanna. They are to not communicate with her as long as I permit it, Damien being an exception."
"Anna stop!" Exclaimed Elsa, grabbing her arm to stop her. But instead Anna quickly turned to face her.
"It's time, Elsa." Said Anna suddenly. Completely catching Elsa by surprise. Her whole demeanor was Agnarr. Elsa could see the determination in her eyes. She was ready.
This was not the same princess that traveled up the north mountain to look for her sister.
This was Queen Anna, protector and ruling ruler of Arendelle.
"It's time..." she added once more before turning around and marching through the hectic hall, passing through the noisy crowd as they made room for her. She was concentrated and ready to face what was to come.
And now even Elsa was nervous.
The Northern Sea, just outside the borders of Arendelle
The giant ship sailed quickly, the waters splashing the side of the ship with greatness as it continued sailing north. The fjords were surrounding them, giant beyond mans description and great in beauty, light snow at the tips now seen more clearly.
All of her shield maidens were lined in front of the ship where Cassandra and Torvi were standing just moments ago. All ten of them standing together as they stared out to the grand view in front of them, even Kristina was there, holding one of Hanna's beautiful dresses, one of the many she never wore.
The wind was cool and strong, stronger than what they were used to in Denmark. The ice was already forming in the fjords and the sudden change of weather could be felt drastically.
Hanna stepped forward, walking through her shield maidens, posture held high and fists clenched as she made herself to the front of the ship where she joined Cassandra, still holding her swords handle.
They're long and braided hairs flowed magically as the wind blew on them. None of them saying a word as they stared at the approaching small kingdom. All of them with seriousness in their expressions as the sailors continued guiding the ship forward with great speed.
Each of them strapped in armor, except Hanna, who was wearing women's trousers and her sleeveless tunic.
Never had Hanna looked so serious as she did at the moment. She shared the same exact expression Hans did whenever he was concentrating and planning a tactic for battle. Cassandra took a deep and shaky breath. Clearly trying to swallow down her nerves.
"Are you ready?" Asked Hanna with a deadpanned toned. Never taking her eyes off the little kingdom.
"No." She shook her head with furrowed brows before turning to look at her. "Are you?"
Hanna clenched her fist, her posture never ceasing as she stared at the kingdom, tall and strong with posture.
"I'm always ready." She answered lightly but with firm concentration to the little kingdom, the ship sailing closer and closer as the fjords drew nearer and nearer.
The grand view of Arendelle just in front of them a little over eight hundred yards away. Eight hundred yards from changing the world.

This story won't be like any Frozen story you've ever heard before.
