Chapter 15:
Revelations
Arendelle
"Ahhh." Moaned Hanna as she continue to ride harder and faster while Cassandra moaned herself, matching her rhythm.
They're legs were opened for one another as they scissored each other with passion and lust. Clit and wetness rubbing one another as sweat dripped down their face.
Then all at once Hanna threw her head back, summoning enormous moans as her orgasm passed through her whole body, not until soon thereafter Cassandra orgasmed with her.
They're legs shaking, Hanna fell back on to the bed as her fast breathing escaped her lips. Her body still shaking as she brought her arm up around her neck, resting it on top of there.
Cassandra quickly leaned forward and moved towards Hanna's side and joined beside her. Resting her naked and sweaty leg on top of Hanna's stomach as she rested her neck on top of her chest.
"Think they heard us?" Asked Cassandra devilishly as she too tried to control her breathing, not before smirking at Hanna of course.
Hanna breathed in deeply and smirked. "Maybe."
"Well if they didn't, I'm sure as hell handsome boy outside did." Smiled Cassandra as she began to gently rub her thumb over Hanna's soft and pink nipples.
Hanna's eyes slowly widened. "Oh my God... I completely forgot he was there..."
"Who cares. I'm sure he was just as eager to watch. Or join." Laughed Cassandra as she began to place soft kisses on Hanna's exposed shoulder. "Especially after the ass kicking you gave him yesterday."
"I should probably apologize to him... I'm sure I hurt his manly ego or something..." sighed Hanna feeling guilty for how she handled him in front of his whole squad, even his commander who is his own uncle.
"Let him stay hurt. He's a big boy. He'll live." Said Cassandra as she continued to kiss deeper and deeper.
Hanna furrowed her brows and watched as Cassandra kissed deeper and deeper. Light licks following as she began to nibble on her nipple.
"Cass... Cass- whoa, Cass!" Exclaimed Hanna as Cassandra grabbed a mouthful of her breast and purposely but lightly bit her teeth on the nipple to cause somewhat a little jolt of pain. "Jeez, Cass. We just had sex for an hour straight and now you wanna go again?"
"Want me to invite the girls in here? Or maybe Damien will join-"
"Cass." Said Hanna as Cassandra laughed and returned to kissing Hanna's body as she made her way down to Hanna's stomach. "Cass I really have to get ready. I have a meeting with the council and Queen Anna. I don't have time for this."
"Fine. Then just sit back and relax. You don't have to do anything." Said Cassandra in between kisses as she started arriving to the perfectly trimmed and auburn haired pubes on Hanna's womanhood.
Hanna sighed as she followed Cassandra's instruction and let her hand push her body down to lay in the bed.
"Don't get me wrong, Cass. I love sex just as much as the next person but you just have this- Ah." Hanna slightly closed her eyes before quickly forcing herself to open them. "I've just noticed that you- ah."
She moaned again as Cassandra continued to eat her out. The sensual and wet saliva noise filling the room. Cassandra's tongue flicking back and forth, in and out of her hole and up her clit as if she was starving.
Hanna rolled her eyes and bit her lip as Cassandra continued to go deeper and deeper into her womanhood. Leaving all manner of saliva on Hanna's vaginal lips as she craved the flavor.
Cassandra stopped and raised her head to look at Hanna. Her mouth completely wet with saliva and her short dark hair over her grey eyes as she looked at Hanna lustfully and with her devilish smirk.
"You were saying, your highness?"
Hanna bit her lip even harder as she grabbed a chunk of Cassandra's dark hair with her hand and brought her face back down to her womanhood so Cassandra can continue.
She immediately began to eat her out again as Hanna threw her head back with one hand guiding Cassandra's head while the other played with her own breasts and nipples.
And she moaned louder.
Northuldra
It was just after seven in the morning when Hans arrived at the Northuldra camp, just as Elsa asked him to last night.
The children were already playing and breakfast was beginning to be made. He saw Honeymaren just leaving her hut as he was heading over to her.
"Good morning." He greeted.
Honeymaren's eyes widened slightly seeing that Hans had actually obeyed Elsa's order from last night.
Ryder and Rhanda were even surprised at seeing the auburn haired man approaching the camp as if there was nothing weird about it.
"What?" He asked with furrowed brows after a moment when he realized all three of them were staring at him.
"Am I seeing a ghost? I'm surprised that you obeyed Elsa's orders for once. Usually you're terrible at that." Said Honeymaren, throwing a bit of shade as usual.
Hans rolled his eyes. "Well, like her majesty said, we don't want you having a heart attack now do we?"
"Excuse me-" She snapped until Yelena stepped in as usual between the two of them. She always seemed to be stepping in between anyone who was having a problem with Hans.
"Hans Westergaard. It's nice to see you join us again. Will you be staying here as well?" She added with a brow raised.
"For now." He answered darkly yet smoothly. His devilish smirk and concentrated eyes flashing towards Honeymaren.
"You damn well better." She retaliated with a glare as Hans walked towards Rhanda and Ryder who were cutting up the tree branches to start the fire.
"Hi Hans!" Said the giddy teenage girl.
"Rhanda." He acknowledged as he reached for the bowl of berries that was sitting on top of the boulder before popping them into his mouth.
"They're good huh? I just picked and washed them this morning." She smiled.
"Not bad I must admit." He nodded as he popped a couple more into his mouth.
He turned his attention to Ryder who hadn't said a word at all since he arrived. Which was rather strange for the loud mouth man.
He seemed a bit off today. He wasn't putting in effort towards his work either like he usually did and it seemed he was zoning out as a somber and conflicted expression overtook his face.
It wasn't until one of Rhanda's freshly picked out berries smacked him in the face, finally able to grab his attention.
"Hey." Said Hans as he threw another berry at Ryder's face, this time for good measure.
"Huh? What?" Said Ryder with widened eyes as he looked up at Hans who's emerald eyes were looking right at him.
"You good?" Questioned Hans as he popped another berry into his mouth.
"Huh? Oh, hey Hans. I'm just- wait, did you just throw a berry at my face?" Said Ryder as he held up the berry near his face for Hans to see.
"No. I threw two berries at your face. What's going on with you?" Asked Hans as Rhanda giggled.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"You look like you just saw Tadashi naked." Said Hans purposely as he noticed the men approaching the small group with the Japanese man leading the way.
Rhanda clasped her mouth with her hand as she started giggling even harder.
"Hah. You're a comedian." Retaliated Tadashi with annoyance as he walked past them and towards Honeymaren ready to receive directions.
"Oh, that. Yeah, it's nothing." Ryder said as he returned back to the pile of branches he still hadn't cleaned off.
Hans didn't say anything as he stared at him. Studying every move he was making and the way his eyes still seemed in conflict.
"You're a liar, Ryder."
Ryder's eyes widened as he turned to the bearded man who was chewing more berries in his mouth as his foot rested on top of the boulder.
"I am not lying." He retaliated with annoyance.
"Take it from professional one myself, you're terrible at it." Said Hans darkly as his eyes never left Ryder's widened ones.
"Well I'm not, okay and- did you just call me Ryder?" He added with furrowed brows of his own.
"I've called you by your name before." Said Hans emotionless and calm as usual.
"Yeah bullshit. You've given me the name Rudolph since you've arrived here. Why am I even talking to you? Why don't you go... distraught more women who wish to bed you or something." Said Ryder as he rose to his feet and marched off.
Hans shrugged and popped another berry into his mouth. "Actually that's not a bad idea-"
"Don't you even dare." Said Honeymaren darkly from behind who had been giving directions to Tadashi and his men.
Hans smirked.
Arendelle
The door to Hanna's guest room opened and out stepped the Princess of The Southern Isles wearing a brownish dress with a hint of crimson. She was expecting to see Damien waiting for her, but she was surprised to find that he was not. She did a double take, looking down the hall to see where he'd gone.
Oh God. He heard us didn't he.
But than suddenly there he was.
Hanna was surprised to find him leaning on the window, looking down on the training grounds, where the morning commander was instructing the new recruits for the Arendelle guard.
She rolled her eyes and took a deep breath as she slowly started making her way to him. She could see he was very concentrated on the drills, almost as if he was supervising himself.
"Lieutenant?" Hanna asked.
Damien's eyes widened, somewhat startled by the voice of the Princess as he stood tall and turned to look at her.
"Princess Hanna." He said as he took a deep and graceful bow.
Princess Hanna nodded her head at him before clearing her throat. "Observing your men train?"
"Something like that." He replied as he turned to the window again. His hands behind his back respectfully. "These are actually new recruits that started this morning. My uncle is just doing basic drills with them."
Hanna took a step forward and stood next to him to see. He was right. They looked as young as sixteen years of age.
She and Damien watched as the clumsy young men would try doing all sorts of drills. From push ups, pulls up and even lifting weights that even she could easily lift.
"Looks like they have a lot of work to do." She said jokingly with a smirk on the side of her lips.
"That they do." Smirked Damien as he continued to look at the many commanders and generals shouting orders at them.
Hanna quickly glanced at Damien as his soft blue eyes concentrated at the young lads.
She cleared her throat and began.
"I wanted to apologize about yesterday." She said as he furrowed his dark brows and turned to look at her. "I was out of line for humiliating you in front of your men and your uncle. And the council. And the Queens of Arendelle..."
"No need to apologize, your highness." He said quickly. Hanna furrowed her brows and looked up at him. Surprised how fine he sounded. "You were simply demonstrating your skill. There is nothing wrong with that and as a soldier I will always respect that. No matter the sex or race."
Hanna's mouth hung open but no words came out. His explanation for no apology on her part was touching. He was not bothered at all and almost seemed like he encouraged it.
"Well I uh... I just figured apologizing to you was the right thing to do, Lieutenant." Said Hanna.
"And I refuse your apology." He smiled softly as her as Hanna suddenly beamed a wide smile at him with a light chuckle.
"You know regardless at the outcome of yesterday, you are a pretty good fighter, Lieutenant. And that goes without saying." She said.
"I appreciate your kind words, Princess Hanna. And this also goes without saying. You got lucky." He said smirking at her as Hanna erupted into small laughter again.
"Is that so?" She challenged him.
He shrugged with his hands still behind him. "I held back a little."
"Hmm, funny. So did I." Said Hanna with a devilish eyebrow raised at him as she started to turn and walk away.
Her comment made Damien's eyes widened. He didn't know what to say to that, luckily Kai interrupted.
"Ahem, Princess Hanna? They are ready for you in the council chambers." Said Kai as he bowed and gestured down the hall.
"Thank you, I'll be right there." Said Hanna as she started making her way down the hall. She then quickly stopped and turned to look at Damien. "You coming lieutenant?"
Damien quickly picked up his feet and made his way towards Hanna as they both walked shoulder to shoulder and followed Kai down the hall.
Elsa had been the first one to arrive at the chambers. She had been up early morning and soon after was joined by the rest of the council as they each came in one by one.
All of them murmuring and whispering with one another like they always did.
Politics, how tiresome.
And after last nights motherly call, Elsa was in no mood to talk about politics. Which was rare, because she usually did. In fact she found it enlightening.
But only thoughts of mystery crossed her mind as she had a worrisome yet confused expression on her face. She didn't even see Anna when she came in. She was too distracted by what happened last night.
Ah ah oh oh
There it was.
Again...
She sat up straight from her chair, looking towards the window with a serious face while the council continued to chat with one another. None of them heard it except her.
Why she thought to herself angrily.
Elsa couldn't deal with this right now. She needed to clear her head.
"Elsa?"
Elsa blinked and quickly turned to her sister who was sitting next to her. Had she been in that seat long?
"Elsa, are you okay?" Asked Anna with furrowed brows.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Yeah I'm-I'm fine, Anna." She replied quickly.
Anna furrowed her brows as she quickly glanced at Elsa up and down, studying her tense body language.
"You don't look fine." Said Anna.
"I'm fine, Anna. Really. Perhaps just a little nervous about today's meeting is all." Added Elsa as Anna continued to study her sister.
Something was off and Anna could tell.
"Your majesties." Said Kai as the doors were opened and in he stepped with Hanna following close behind. "I present to you Princess Hanna."
"Good morning, everyone." Said Hanna as she quickly stepped in and made her way over the empty chair while everyone in the room rose to their feet. "And good morning to you, your majesties."
"Princess Hanna, thank you for taken the time to be with us on this grand day of history and hope for both are kingdoms." Said Anna as Princess Hanna curtsied in respect to the two of them.
"Now, let us begin by examining the first page-"
"I'm sorry, I need to excuse myself." Elsa announced suddenly as she rose to her feet.
The sudden announcement made everyone in the room began to whisper. Did the great Queen Elsa just ask to be excused?
Even Hanna was caught off guard by the sudden declaration from Elsa.
"Wait, what?" Anna turned to her sister with furrowed brows. "Elsa, what's wrong?"
"I'm not... feeling well." God, she hated lying. But she couldn't explain what happened right now. Sure, Anna knew about the voice from before, but she needed to focus on negotiating right now. "It must've been the tea I drank this morning."
"Elsa, we drink tea every morning." Anna said with furrowed eyes.
"It must've been expired... it's okay. I just need some rest is all." Said Elsa keeping her composure.
She was good at lying. And she hated knowing she was good at it. But by the look Hanna was giving Elsa, she was not convinced.
In fact the Princess of the Southern Isles simply smirked at the end of her lips. Elsa quickly made sure to look away.
"All right, then.. I'll handle everything. Shouldn't be more than an hour." Said Anna finally.
"Thank you, Anna." Elsa said gratefully as she quickly bowed and excused herself. The second she closed the door behind her she began marching down the hall.
Quickly making her way past several servants who were tidying up the castle like every morning. She quickly made her way down the hall and down the stairs before finally leaving the castle.
She headed straight to the water, passing the townspeople as she she thawed her regal dress, replacing it with her white dress. Even changing her heels into white hiking boots.
Ever since the incident involving reindeer droppings she stepped on a month ago, she refused to ever wear those sandals again unless she was in dry soil.
Elsa kneeled in front of the fjord and dipped her hand in the cold water. Shortly after, the Nokk appeared before her neighing in acknowledgement.
"Hey." Elsa greeted as she pet the Nokk's forehead while it snuggled into her cold hands. "Did you hear it too?"
The water spirit neighed again almost as if it was agreeing with her.
"I thought so." Said Elsa said as she mounted the Nokk, which immediately started galloping up the Fjord towards Northuldra.
Northuldra
Ryder couldn't stop thinking about it. He needed to ask someone for advice on how to get to know her more. On how to even talk to her.
He would've asked his sister, but he was afraid she'd get upset with him for it. And the feeling of asking his own sister in general made him throw up.
So he decided to suck it up and went to Hans instead. He found the former Prince sitting on a stump, sharpening his Grandfather's dagger with a whetstone ready to cut up the fish Honeymaren had instructed him to do.
"Hey..." said Ryder as he leaned on the big tree.
"Ah, well if isn't Ryder the grouch." Said Hans sarcastically as he continued to sharpen his knife, not once looking up or acknowledging Hans.
Ryder rolled his eyes. "I wasn't grouchy okay... I just had a lot on my mind. And seriously, you've never called me Ryder."
"Whatever you say, Rudolph." Shrugged Hans as he continued to sharpen the knife.
"Ass..." Muttered Ryder under his breath as he rolled his eyes.
"So. What's on your mind." Said Hans as he brought down the knife to the dead fish's head.
"What makes you think something is on my mind." Scoffed Ryder.
Hans turned to Ryder with his brow raised. "Why else would you come to find me."
"I don't know. Maybe to make sure you don't murder someone or cause any damage." Retaliated Ryder.
"Okay then. I'm leaving." Said Hans with a shrug.
"Wait! Wait just- stop..." Ryder sighed and rubbed his stressed face as turned to look at him again. "There is something on my mind I wanted to ask you about..."
Hans sighed heavily and sat back down on the stump annoyingly. "Well, what is it?"
"Well, you know how I was in Arendelle yesterday getting some provisions Yelena instructed me to get?" He started.
"Yes. Maren told me about that. You were gone for several hours." Hans said with a raised eyebrow as he grabbed his knife again and sliced fished head clean off.
"Well... I met this girl in the market and I'm not sure if she has feelings for me." Ryder explained before clearing his throat.
Hans was in the process of grabbing the third fish and stopped immediately when he heard what Ryder just said to him.
"We met by complete accident and she didn't know her way around the market so I helped her and we just talked a lot... I mean I guess we talked the best we could. Her Norwegian wasn't perfect but we managed.
And I don't know, we just had a really good time and we spent the next few hours or so just going through the whole town, trying different flavors of food and goods... She even bought me a little reindeer stuffed animal-"
"Okay. Okay I get it." Said Hans annoyingly as he drove the tip of the dagger into the wood and rose to his feet. "You want advise on women. But why are you coming to me? I mean what is the chance you see a girl you met in the market once more?"
"Yes. But you see, we're supposed to meet at the market again today, and I'm not good with uhh... women.. just in general I've never been in a relationship..."
"And you're coming to me for advise. Me." Emphasized Hans.
"Well who else am I supposed to turn to! Maren!? God no. Even if she has dated a few men why would I want to turn for help from my own sister." Argued Ryder.
"Maren dating men huh. Well that's a sight to behold." Said Hans crossing his arms with a smirk on his face.
"Besides. You always have women drooling over you. I've seen the girls here at camp and how they stare at you. If anyone can teach me how to understand women it's you. And you certainly have more confidence than any person I've ever met so-"
"Okay, all right fine." Sighed Hans with frustration as he ran his finger through his long auburn locks. "You said you want to learn how to understand a woman right? Well I'll teach you."
"Perfect!" Exclaimed a joyful Ryder as he ran towards the stump Hans had been sitting on and sat with his body leaned forward, ready to listen to the wise words of the former prince. "I'm all ears!"
"So, the secret to understanding women is..." Ryder leaned forward even more, eager and impatient to hear the words come out of Hans mouth as he too leaned forward to his eye leven, raising his hand next to his lips to whisper the secret of all secrets. "Nothing."
Ryder furrowed his brows and blinked repeatedly. Did he just hear what he thought he heard? "I'm-I'm sorry. Did you just say nothing?"
"Yup! Nothing!" Repeated Hans as stood up again with his hands in the air. He than turned around and began to walk away.
"B-but wait!" Exclaimed Ryder as he stood up and started to run after him. "But that doesn't teach me anything!"
"On the contrary, it teaches you to everything." Retaliated Hans as he approached the stream of water where there was more empty baskets lined up.
"HOW!? It only pushes me further to confusion! How am I supposed to understand women if you can't-"
"Because you won't." Said Hans suddenly as he turned to face Ryder.
His eyes were widened as the emerald eyed man stared right at him with seriousness to his declaration.
"Pfft, yeah not with that attitude-"
"No, Ryder. You don't understand. You will never understand women." Said Hans as he approached the confused young man. "Us men will never understand women. The only ones who understand women are women."
Ryder was stunned. His jaw widened in awe as he continued to look at his serious and piercing emerald eyes.
"B-but than how is that you have all these women wooing over you? How is that you are able to have a conversation so easily with them? I-I just don't understand-"
Hans cut him off again as he tapped his chest with index finger. "Once you realize that and accept that you'll never understand women, then we'll talk."
He watched as he returned to the steam and bent down, collecting the swimming fish into the empty buckets while his words lingered in his head.
He slowly bent down, still confused as a reindeer in a trapped fire as he began to help in capturing the fish into the empty baskets.
Elsa dismounted the Nokk and gently caressed it under its chin before it reverted back to it's spirit form and disappeared back into the water. She walked away from the shore and headed into the forest.
Whew...
Elsa heard the low whistling of Gale as she hovered around her. Greeting her and and welcoming her back home.
"Hi Gale. I take it you heard it too?" She said.
Gale whistled again.
Elsa sighed. "I just don't understand. Why now?" She said as she began to walk through the short trail that led to the camp with Gale next to her. She was immediately greeted by some excited Northuldra children.
"It's Queen Elsa!"
"She's back!"
Honemaren furrowed her brows at hearing the screaming children as she watched them run past her and into Elsa's arms.
Elsa smiled warmly at the adorable children. "Well good morning you little rascals."
The children laughed as Elsa started to gently tickle their tummies, even under their armpits.
"Welcome back." Said Honeymaren, who walked over, her sleeves were rolled up from the water they were boiling over the fire.
"Yes! Indeed, welcome back!" Said Rhanda, who was right behind Honeymaren as she approached the Queen consort and briefly hugged her.
Elsa returned the hug lovingly and quickly. "It's good to see you too, Rhanda. Have I missed anything?"
"Nothing exciting here except the breakfast we're making, care to join?"
Elsa was about to respond when suddenly her stomach growled pretty loudly, causing the children to erupt in laughter as she grabbed her slim stomach with a shy smile.
"I'll take that as a yes." Honeymaren laughed as she led the way and patted Elsa's back. "So, how's the negotiations with Princess Hanna going?"
"Very good. Anna and Hanna are just finalizing the last few things in the agreement right now. Just a lot of signing and looking over documentations with lawyers and witnesses abroad." Said Elsa
"Hmm... and you aren't with her cause?" Asked Honeymaren as they approached the small campfire where Honeymaren and Rhanda had been preparing food.
"Anna knows what she needs to do, she can handle it." Elsa replied with a shrug.
But Honeymaren wasn't convinced. She wouldn't just drop something so crucial that involved Arendelle, let alone her sister.
"Elsa, I know you. You wouldn't just leave your sister to do this by herself. Not when it's this important." Honeymaren said with furrowed eyes.
Elsa pressed her lips and stopped walking as she looked to the ground and than back up to Honeymaren's honey colored eyes.
"I heard it again last night." She said.
"Heard what?" Asked Rhanda.
"The call of my mother." Said Elsa more seriously.
Honeymaren's eyes widened. "Wait, the same call that led you to Ahtohallan?"
"Yes." Elsa said. "But I don't know why it's happening again."
"Do you think it has something to do with Hans?" Asked Rhanda.
"Possibly, but I doubt it. He-" Elsa suddenly paused when she realized she hadn't seen the former Prince since she arrived. "Wait, where is Hans?"
"Behind you, your royal majesty." Came the sarcastic and familiar voice behind her.
Elsa rolled her eyes and turned to face him where sure enough he was approaching the camp with the three large baskets on top of his right shoulder with a rather excited yet serious Ryder trying to keep up. trying to ask Hans a million questions per second with two baskets in each hand.
"I hope you didn't just decide to arrive here just because I showed up." She said as she crossed her arms and stared annoyingly at him.
"What? Me? Never. I'm a man of my word, Queen Elsa. You asked me to come back down early morning and so I did." Said Hans as he put the three large baskets down as Ryder followed and did the same.
"Man of your word. Right..." Said Elsa as she rolled her eyes again. They each took a seat around the fireplace. Shortly after, Tadashi and his men arrived with the the buckets of milk they were sent to retrieve this morning.
"Everyone sit, the fish won't take too long to boil." Said Honeymaren as she began to put the freshly cut and cleaned fishes inside the boiling pot one by one.
She served each individual fish on top of a homemade flour flatbread that she and Honeymaren had rolled out and baked this morning.
Milk was served as well and there was much fruit that was thinly sliced by Honeymaren too.
"So, how is my dear sister doing?" Asked Hans as he popped one of the fishes head into his mouth. He chewed and swallowed it with no hesitation.
"They're finalizing the negotiations of the contract this morning." Said Elsa as she put her half eaten fish down. "Shouldn't take too long, it's just a lot of rereading and signing is all."
"And you're here why?" Asked Hans with furrowed brows. "Forgive me, Queen Elsa. But you're not the type to miss on such an important even as this one.
"I have my reasons." She retaliated with a serious brow.
"Which is?"
He was expecting Elsa to retaliate but was thrown off when she saw her pondering. Her eyes were staring at the ground as if she was trying to find the right thing to say.
Her legs still crossed elegantly, she raised her hand and fixed her platinum blonde lock behind her ear and cleared her throat.
"Let me ask you something. Have you been noticing something... strange lately?" She asked looking up at him.
Honeymaren, Ryder and Rhanda looked at each other.
"Strange how? I mean a living wind and a fiery breathing lizard aren't strange already? On top of the living rocks-"
"You know what I mean." Countered Elsa annoyingly with a serious glare.
Hans breathed in. "No. I can't say I have. What about you, Tadashi? See anything weird going on in this magical forest."
"Hans. This is serious-"
"And I'm answering seriously. I've seen nothing of the ordinary. Unless there is some sort of grass spirit too." Snickered Hans before he quickly looked around the grass. "Wait, the grass isn't a spirit too is it?"
"Hans. Focus." Sighed Elsa. "What about a voice.."
Hans raised his eyebrow up while Honeymaren's mouth hung open, surprised by how boldly Elsa asked the question while Ryder tried to control his choking of the food.
"Shes hearing it again- Cough!" Whispered Ryder as Rhanda slapped his back, making sure he wasn't killing himself.
"A voice?" Questioned Hans with furrowed brows.
"More like a... call." Replied Elsa.
"Wait, hold on. Is this the same call you told me about? The herding call?" He asked.
"It's not a herding call." Scoffed Elsa. "It's a... Melody of sorts. Have you heard it?"
"Why in the hell would I hear a melody calling me?" He retaliated.
"Because quite frankly you haven't been honest with me since the day you tried to take over my kingdom. My home-"
"Oh, here we go again. Same old sob story-"
The grass beneath their feet began to move slightly and no one seemed to notice as Elsa and Hans continued to shoot shots at each other.
"Guys can we not bicker? It's morning..." sighed Honeymaren as she rubbed the bridge of her nose.
"Sob story? How dare you! I have my reasons to be suspicious about you, Hans. Do you really think I'm just going to believe everything that comes out of your pathetic stupid-"
Her brows furrowed when she suddenly noticed the grass moving. She looked down and her eyes widened. Her face even more pale than it normally was, her expression full of pure horror as her heart dropped and she froze.
Hans furrowed his eyes at her expression. "What?"
Hssssss
The snake hissed at Elsa as it looked up at her with it's long, reptilian tongue.
"SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!"
Elsa screamed so loud she could've been heard from Arendelle. Hans, the Northuldra, and the assassins were all caught by surprise at the sudden scream of the fifth spirit.
But when they noticed the snake they too backed away and quickly scattered. Although none of them had such a horrendous reaction like Elsa did just now.
Elsa shrieked after her tremendous loud scream and was so terrified she jumped up so fast and wrapped her arms and legs around Hans' head. Hans was surprised at how flexible Elsa was in order to do such a thing.
"KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT! KILL IT!" Elsa cried, repeating those two words over and over again, refusing to let go of Hans until he or anyone else did so as she buried her face into his chest.
Honeymaren, Ryder, Rhanda, and other nearby Northuldra watched in bewilderment as Hans blindly stumbled around with Elsa on top of him, freaking out and muffling to get air.
She was refusing to let go of him. She had her whole body wrapped around him like he was a giant pillow.
Hans finally poked his head out, gasping for air.
"What is wrong with you?!" Hans snapped at her as he leaned forward and grabbed the snake by its head.
Elsa screamed again and jumped off of Hans shoulders and quickly ran to her hut. "Me?! What is wrong with you?!" She shot back, as she peeked her head out.
"Why did you jump on top of me?!" He argued.
"Why do you have a damn snake in your hands?!"
"Uh, yeah. What she said." Added Honeymaren.
"Actually, I'm more intrigued from the first question." Whispered Rhanda as Honeymaren shushed her.
"It's a grass snake! They're totally harmless and quite gentle actually-"
"It's a snake, Hans! It's a satanic, ungodly monstrosity!" She retaliated as she gestured towards the snake he was holding his his hands as he let it slither in his hands.
"Are you seriously that afraid of them? Do you have ophidiophobia or something?" He questioned.
"So what if I do- ewww stop!" She exclaimed as Hans brought the snake near his face to taunt her as she closed her eyes and brought her shaky and sweaty hand up to cover her eyes.
THUD!
"Oww!" Exclaimed Hans as the wooden staff collided the back of his head. He turned around and saw Yelena holding the stick in her hand as she looked down at him.
"Stop traumatizing the poor child. Can't you see she's suffering? Go put the snake somewhere else." She demanded.
"Fine." Said Hans as he rose to his feet. "If you'll excuse us, your majesty-"
"STOP." Exclaimed Elsa as Hans showed off the snake again. Honeymaren and Rhanda couldn't help but slightly giggle at Elsa's terrified state.
"Now, Hans." Demanded Yelena as she watched Hans leave with the snake still wrapped around his hands. She turned back to the fifth spirit and looked at her. "Elsa, how many times do we have to go through this. We live in a forest. You are bound to find snakes here all the time-"
"Yelena." Said Elsa with her voice still shaky yet her stare angry. "There is only one thing I hate more than Hans Westergaard and that is snakes."
Arendelle
"Does anyone else have anything they want to add?" Asked Queen Anna.
The councilmen shook their heads while Hanna sat quietly and with respectfulness.
"Then this meeting is adjourned. You are dismissed, councillors." Anna declared as she closed her giant textbook and stood up.
The councilmen rose from their seats and slowly left the chambers, not before conversing with one another of course.
"Well I think that went rather well, don't you think so, Queen Anna?" Asked Hanna as she approached Anna respectfully with Damien just a few feet away from the two with his hands behind his back.
"Indeed. I am very pleased how everything went so smoothly. I expect our own people to be delighted when they see the next provisions arrive next month." Smiled Anna at Hanna.
"Let me be the first to congratulate you on this great accomplishment, Queen Anna." Bowed Damien respectfully as the two young women turned to the handsome guard. "Your majesty has made all of Arendelle proud."
"Thank you for your kind words, Lieutenant Damien. But I cannot take all the credit. Princess Hanna's influence played a huge part in making this deal go forward. And for that I am eternally grateful." Said Anna as she smiled at Hanna.
"Of course, Princess Hanna has represented the kingdom of the Southern Isles greatly. I'm sure the king would be very of you, your highness." Said Damien as he stared at Hanna with his soft light eyes.
Hanna quickly cleared her throat and nodded her head with a smile. "Yes. I-I hope so."
"I'm sure of it." Added Anna. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must get going and continue planning the wedding. Lord knows I cannot let that procrastinate a minute longer."
"Of course, your majesty." Replied Hanna. "I would offer my services to help but I believe my shield maidens have been begging me to show them around the kingdom, even when I myself haven't gone."
"You haven't explored our kingdom yet? You must certainly go!" Retaliated Anna with enthusiasm.
"My lady in waiting is no where to be found at the moment. She explored the kingdom yesterday and would be the best person to be my navigator." Chucked Hanna.
"Oh don't be silly! Lots of us can show you the kingdom. Even me." Anna then had an idea. "But, I suppose maybe the Lieutenant could show you around instead? After all, he knows his way around too."
Damien's eyes suddenly widened at hearing the bold idea. "Y-your majesty, if I may, I-I don't think her highness would want me to-"
"I'd love that."
Damien's eyes went from surprised to stunned at Hanna's reply of approval as he turned to look at Hanna who only smiled at Anna in approval.
"Perfect! Well I really must get going. If you'll excuse me." Anna said before hurrying out of the room.
"Well Lieutenant, where should we go first?" Hanna asked the stunned Damien.
"Umm, right... Perhaps the market?" Damien suggested.
"Lead the way." Hanna replied with a smile as she began to follow him out the door.
In the Arendelle village market, Hanna and Damien, along with Cassandra and the shield maidens following behind, walked around the various stores and street vendors.
It was busy today. More so than other times. And a lot of that had to do with the brand new provisions provided by Arendelle's rekindled ally, the Southern Isles.
"Mmm. You were spot on about these berries by the way." Said Hanna satisfied as she popped another one in her mouth.
"A child delicacy, your highness." Said Damien as they continued to walk side by side. His hands behind him respectfully as always.
Meanwhile, Cassandra watched the two in front of her as they continued to engage in light conversation.
This was new of Hanna. She had always ignored or dismissed any potential suitors her father had invited and instead opted to focus on her sisters-in-arms. Of course, Cassandra knew that Hanna would have to either marry a man at some point otherwise her father had once threatened he would cut her off from the royal treasury. Not that it mattered to her anyways.
Hanna would only go to men when she was feeling up to a night one stand. Her, Cassandra and many of her shield maidens would go to the pub often to have drinks with the attractive sailors, soldiers and even average men that were passing by the kingdom, even spending nights with them in the sleezy inns.
Hanna and Cassandra never cared to bond with any man. But being with Damien almost made Hanna feel at ease. Maybe it had to do with the way Damien was so focused on fulfilling his duties that he wasn't at all interested in knowing how Hanna looks like stripped away from her dress.
Well, let's be honest. Perhaps he is thinking of that. Thought Cassandra to herself.
But Damien wasn't showing it. And the man was handsome, no doubt. But he was far more attentive of the crowds of people surrounding them. Making sure no one even dared approach the Princess of the Southern Isles.
...She was a little jealous.
"So if I may ask, Lieutenant. What got you into joining the Arendellian guard? While at the same time serving in the army?" Said Hanna as they passed the cart of flowers a nice old Norwegian woman was selling.
"I'm only at guard when I'm off duties from the army." Said Damien as they continued to walk through the crowds of people while many of the Southern Isles shield maidens and Arendellian guards made sure they were at least six feet away from the Princess.
"And yet you haven't answered my question." Said Hanna as she approached a antique shop where they had all matter of traditional Arendellian necklaces. "What made you join? After all, it seems your a guard most of your time since Arendelle never has wars or conflicts like other kingdoms."
He smirked a little and was silent for a few seconds before finally answering. "My uncle."
"You mean the general correct?" Said Hanna as she lifted a beautiful and well crafted necklace made from the shells of the Norwegian Sea.
"Precisely." Said Damien as he watched Hanna place the necklace on one of her shield maidens to see how it looked on someone. "I admired stories of him I've heard as a young boy."
"Stories? You mean you didn't grow up around him?" Asked Hanna.
"No. I wasn't even born yet when he got trapped inside the Northuldra forest. In fact him and my mother are years apart. She was only sixteen when the conflict between the Northuldra and Arendelle occurred." He explained.
"Trapped? You mean he got trapped inside the forest?" Asked Hanna.
"Arendelle is a rather... magical kingdom, your highness." Said Damien as he watched Hanna purchase several necklaces. Stuffing her money into the grateful and kind woman's hand before retrieving her bags and giving one each to her shield maidens.
"Tell me about it." Said Hanna as she handed the last bag to Cassandra. "I mean you already have a magical queen who rules this great kingdom with five spirits. I can't imagine what else there might be."
"So you've heard of the spirits of the forest." He replied.
"Something like that..." Said Hanna as she quickly realized that she was playing to close to the fire by mentioning the spirits before he did. "I've heard stories is all. Word gets around."
"Well word is correct." Said Damien as they started to make their way through the crowd again. "My uncle was one of the few Arendellian guards who got trapped in the forest. Back then he was a young Lieutenant."
"And how long was he trapped there for?" Asked Hanna.
"Thirty-four long years." Answered Damien as he suddenly raised his hand to greet the Arendellian local baker.
Hanna's eyes widened. "Thirty-four years! My Lord... How did he even survive!?
"It wasn't easy. But overtime him and the Northuldra learned to just respect their boundaries. He always hoped King Agnarr would return for him and the others. But instead his daughters did." Said Damien as he approached the baker.
"Ah, good day Lieutenant Damien." Greeted the old Norwegian baker. His long mustache smiling with his mouth.
"Good morning, Mr. Olson." Greeted Damien. "How goes your day?"
"Splendid now that I know I get to take your money!" Joked Mr. Olson as he fetched the wooden pliers, ready to snatch any pastry with it. "So, what's it going to be today. Krumkake cookies again?"
"You know me well, Mr. Olson" smiled Damien as the old man chuckled and proceeded to take out small napkins. "But that'll be for all of our party. Not just me."
"Krumkake cookies?" Asked Hanna.
"You must try it, Princess Hanna. This pastry is my favorite thing in the whole kingdom. I find myself roaming her almost every other day or so." Replied Mattias.
"Pah, more like every hour." Muttered Olson as few shield maidens laughed.
"You just focus on getting us our order." Retaliated Damien jokingly as Mr. Olson continued to do his task. He turned back to Hanna who stared at the way it was being made. "You've never had one before have you?
"Krumkake, yes. In the form of a cookie however I have not." Replied Hanna.
"Well." Said Damien as he retrieved both in his hands from Mr. Olson. "Here's your chance."
Hanna reached forward with her hand to take the delicious looking cone with cream on the top. But suddenly a black glove pulled her hand away.
"Wait, wait. Hold on a second." Said Cassandra as she suddenly stepped forward, even eying Damien with a serious glare. "How do we know these aren't poisoned."
"She's got a point." Whispered Mr. Olson to Damien. Obviously making light joking from the accusation before chuckling.
"Why would I ever try to poison the Princess?" Retaliated Damien with a serious glare of his own.
"Yeah, Cass. Why." Said Hanna with a raised and annoyed brow at her dear friend.
"You have your way of protecting the Princess and I have mine. And I say I don't trust you yet. Especially a Lieutenant who serves the kingdom her brother wronged three years ago." Declared Cassandra.
"Cass, you know your embarrassing me, right?" Said Hanna as she rubbed her forehead while her shield maidens watched.
Damien blinked several times before finally answering. "I assure you I would never do such a thing. Arendelle has welcomed Princes Hanna and as long as she is under my supervision no man or woman will ever harm the Princess."
"Well I'll be the judge of that." Said Cassandra as she snatched the Krumkake cookie that was Hanna's from his hand and stuffed it into her mouth.
Her glare still serious as her eyes were still set upon Damien. But suddenly she began to blink and her eyes widened when the savory taste filled her tongue and cheeks.
Her chewing became slower and even her body less tense than what it was before.
"Well, is it as poisonous as you thought it was child?" Asked the jolly old man.
"Mmm. So many flavors at once." Said Cassandra as she took another bite.
"Well, come on up and grab them. There's enough for everyone." Said Mr. Olson as the shield maidens and guards approached the cart.
Hanna rolled her eyes as she and Damien looked at each other, sharing a pleased and relaxed smile.
Suddenly Hanna's brows furrowed when she noticed behind Damien a young man wearing fur clothing with a funny little too hat on his head.
His looked nervous and even in the cool Scandinavian breeze he was sweating bullets as if he was headed to a nervous meeting.
Hey I know you...
She thought to herself. His wardrobe was the same apparel as what the Northuldran people wore when she was in the forest. The gákti matching clothing they all wore.
His brown hair draped over his forehead and his familiar baby face was all too memorable.
What was his name again, Rudolph?
Knock knock kn-knock knock!
"Elsa? Are you feeling better yet?" Anna asked from outside her sister's bedroom door.
Knock knock
"Elsa? She asked again when there was no response.
She was still worried from her sisters unusual excuse. It was unlike her to ever leave such a important meeting. Especially one pertaining such an important day for the two kingdoms.
Sick or not, Elsa always made sure to be there for anyone and everyone no matter what. Even when she got a cold on Anna's nineteenth birthday she was still working from her own bed. Until Anna forced the paperwork from her hands that is.
Hell Elsa could be dying and she'd still be working and taking care of Arendelle.
"Elsa, come on. You're not pulling a conceal don't feel again are you?" Anna asked again as she opened the door and entered the room.
But her astonished eyes immediately seized over her when she found that she wasn't even in her bed, least of all her own study desk.
She looked around a few times to see if perhaps she was changing or digging inside her large closet room but found nothing.
"Where are you, Elsa?" Anna asked herself as she stepped out of the closet, her hands in her hips as she pondered deeply.
"Shes left, your majesty." Came the sudden voice from the open door of Elsa's room.
Anna quickly went to the door where she found a kind maid servant polishing the vases and expensive paintings in the hall.
"She's left?" Asked Anna as she stepped outside, surprised by the sudden declaration from the maiden.
"Yes. She was passing through the halls rather quickly. I inquired of her if she needed me to arrange her dresses of the week. She instead to not worry about it and that she had to fulfill an important errand in the forest."
"The forest? You mean like the enchanted forest? She told me she was sick..." Anna said with furrowed eyes.
"She looked rather well to me, your majesty." The maid replied awkwardly with a slight shoulder raised.
Frustration began to build up inside of her. This all made sense now. The way she's been behaving, the way she's been avoiding important meetings and even going as far to refusing to tell the full story of the scar on her thigh.
She didn't want to believe it, but she knew that Elsa was lying to her and keeping secrets again.
Again...
"Your majesty, are you alright?" Asked the maid with a rather worrisome expression.
And than anger began to build up inside her.
"Excuse me, I need a moment." Anna replied suddenly as she walked past her and down through the halls.
Clenching her fists while a thousand thoughts plagued her brain.
"This is the last straw."
Northuldra
Elsa had finally come out of her hut after thirty minutes of Honeymaren and Rhanda convincing her the snake was nowhere to be seen.
They even had Tadashi and his men walk around the camp to make sure the snake had vanished, along with Hans.
And now she was out looking for the auburn haired man. She had to tell him to make sure he didn't speak to anyone if Anna went insane and somehow sent guards for her arrest.
But Anna would never do that. She knew her sister too well. And she knew she would at least hear her out and when she tells her why Hans is living in the forest.
She heard some children laughing as she crossed the large tree that bad fallen over the toad pond many years ago. She crossed the pond as she walked over the large tree and found Hans and the group of small children, gathered around him as if he was telling a story.
But as she got close her eyes widened and her heart sunk. Because Hans was still holding the snake, much to her disgust. She was surprised, however, to see that the children were gathered around him, not at all bothered by the slithery reptile as he sat on top of a tree stump.
"Are you sure it's not dangerous?" Asked a girl.
"No. Grass Snakes are non-venomous and actually quite gentle." Hans replied as the snake slithered through his hands and fingers.
Elsa held her mouth. She wanted to puke. Just looking at it made her gag start up.
"But there are bad snakes out there?" Asked a boy.
"Oh yes, absolutely. There's Mambas, mostly found in Africa. The King Cobra, seen quite a few of those in my life. And the Saw-scaled Viper, ugh, that one can follow you to your dreams." Hans explained.
"Why's that, Mr. Hans?" Asked another, younger girl.
Hans smirked. "When I first got to the Middle East, I set up a small camp and one those Vipers somehow managed to get between me and my tent."
"How did you escape them?" Asked a boy.
"I didn't." Replied Hans. "The only way to escape a snake is to challenge it."
"How do you challenge a snake.." asked the little girl.
"Here, I'll show you." Said Hans as he brought the snake close to his face, looking at it dead in the eye.
The children began to laugh out loud and scream until Elsa ran forward, immediately seizing everything that was happening.
"Okay, no no. That's enough." Said Elsa as she started to escort the children away from Hans and the snake in his hands. "Come along now children."
"Awww, but we wanted to see Hans challenge the snake." Argued the children. "Pleaaasseeee-"
"No. That's enough snakes for one day." Argued Elsa as she continued to scatter them away.
"It seems Queen Elsa is scared of snakes." Whispered Hans with his many expressed faces as the children erupted into laughter, while Elsa furrowed her brows of course.
"As everyone should be." Argued Elsa. These are dangerous animals. One bite from them and it can ruin your whole life, possibly even kill you.
"Reptilians." Corrected Hans with a blank stare.
"Does it matter? A dangerous creature nonetheless." Retaliated Elsa.
"Can we stay at least for five more minutes? Pleaseeee..." begged the children as they looked up at Elsa as if she was their mother.
How could she say no to those big brown eyes, pleading to her as if they were asking to be spared.
"Fine." She sighed as she backed away again, a couple of feet away from the snake. Rubbing the bridge of her nose in frustration as the children cheered altogether.
"What else can you show us, Hans?" Asked one of the children as they all began to encircle him again.
"Hmm. Well, how about this?" Said Hans as he began to suddenly raise the snake above his head, slowly lowering it into his wide open mouth.
"Ewww!" Exclaimed the children in union followed with laughs. Elsa's horrified eyes widened as she quickly jumped to her feet, summoning ice through her hands and shooting his hand, forcing him to drop the snake onto the ground.
"No no! Are you insane!?" Exclaimed Elsa as she grabbed the laughing children and began to pull them away.
"What!? I wasn't going to eat it!" Exclaimed Hans with furrowed brows.
"Are you even human!?" Retaliated Elsa angrily as the children fell to the floor, laughing even more.
Arendelle
At the castle gates, Damien, Hanna, Cassandra along with the group of shield maidens and guards entered the great building.
Each of them were engaged in conversation. All except Cassandra that is. A young Arendellian was obviously flirting with her but she was shooting down all his questions with a snap of a finger.
They soon walked up the stairs as each of the shield maidens departed into their own quarters. Than Damien led Hanna to her large quarters as Cassandra followed close behind.
"So it must be very special of you to know that you get to work right beneath your uncle." Said Hanna as they approached her quarters.
"Yes it's-it's very special indeed." Said Damien.
But Hanna could sense and hear the doubt in his answer. Almost like his reply sounded forced.
"What is it that you don't like about it." Said Hanna immediately.
Damien was surprised how direct Hanna could be. Definitely not like any women he's encountered before.
"I do enjoy working under my uncle, your highness. As I've told you before I've admired hearing his stories as a boy it's just... before he arrived I had been the one serving all matters under Queen Elsa and Queen Anna at all times. And when my uncle returned-"
"Let me guess. You didn't expect them to welcome your uncle back into the military and guard, correct? Especially at his age." Said Hanna.
"Well, not necessarily..." Said Damien as he looked to the floor and than slowly back up at her. "I just didn't think they would make him general is all."
"Ah, I understand now." Said Hanna. "You thought you were going to be general."
"More like I already knew..." smirked Damien softly. "Queen Elsa had already offered me the position after our former general, general Nilsen retired. And I was going to accept until suddenly-"
"He came back into the picture?" She said this time with a devilish smirk.
Damien smiled. "Yes, well. New Queen of Arendelle and all..."
Hanna smiled at him as he continued to stare at her. "You'll be general one day. I'm sure of it." She said as she turned to her door.
"How are you so sure, your highness." Replied Damien with a smile of his own as Hanna opened her quarters doors.
She turned to Damien again as Cassandra walked past her and entered the room.
"Because I'm never wrong about anything." She declared with a smirk as Damien chuckled lightly. "Well, I suppose this is good night, Lieutenant. Thank you again for showing us Arendelle."
"There is still much more to show, your highness. I'm afraid we've only seen just a third of Arendelle." He replied, his hands behind his back respectfully as always.
"Well than I look forward to having you show me the rest." She replied with a smile again. "Good night, Lieutenant."
"Good night, Princess Hanna." He bowed respectfully as Hanna smiled one last time and entered the room, closing the door behind her.
"Finally, I thought he'd never leave." Said Cass as Hanna walked past her and towards her closet.
"Oh, come on, Cass. He's not so bad once you get to know him." Hanna replied, playfully shoving her friend as she raised her leg and began to take off her heels.
"I still don't trust him. I don't care how many karate cookies he stuffs in my mouth." Retaliated Cassandra.
"They're pronounced Krumkake cookies, Cass." Said Hanna as both her bare feet touched the hardwood floor. "Now help me get out of this dress will you?"
"Fine. But only because Kristina isn't here... and because I wanna see your naked body." Said Cassandra as she began to remove Hanna's sleeves and work on her corset, untying each thread one by one.
Hanna snickered. "Everyone always wants to see my naked body. But speaking of which, where is Kristina. I thought she'd be here by now?"
"Don't worry, she's probably buying some fruit or something." Replied Cassaandra as she stripped Hanna naked.
Just in the other side of the door, Damien had a rather large and uncontrollable grin on his lips as he slowly backed away and began to walk to the opposite side of the hall to head towards his quarters.
He had to admit that today was a rather fun day, especially spending time outside the castle grounds and exploring the market. And Princess Hanna was quiet a character.
He continued to grin as he played with knuckles of his hands, walking through the many paintings in the hall until suddenly-
Ahem
Damien stopped immediately and turned around, his brows furrowed to see where the noise came from
Just across the hall where he and Hanna had come from was a strawberry blonde haired woman standing alone, her dress long and wide with her hands crossed over her.
"May I help you?" Said Damien as he started to walk towards the figure. But as he got closer he could see the sunset starting to shine through the window and there in front of him he could see none other than his queen.
"Your majesty, forgive me I-I did not recognize you." Said Damien quickly, sounding very apologetic in his voice as he stood up straight and proper.
"No, no. It's okay. No need for apologies, Lieutenant." Said Anna as she quickly raised her hand up as if she was telling him to keep his voice down.
She was even looking around her as if she was making sure no one could hear them at all.
Damien furrowed his brows. He could tell something was off about her. "Is.. everything all right, your majesty?"
Anna didn't look at him when he asked. Instead she took a deep breath and turned to look at Hanna's giant quarters before looking at him again.
"I have a few questions to inquire of you, Lieutenant... Follow me please." Said Anna with a small smile before she turned around and began to walk down the hall.
"Y-yes, your majesty." Said Damien quickly as he paced towards Anna and started following her, his hands respectfully behind him as she led the way.
And he could see Anna was as serious as ever.
Northuldra
Elsa was meaning to find Hans again. She never got to inform him of what to avoid while she was gone.
She found Hans sitting on a stump and started to approach him. But she stopped once she saw that he was still playing with the exact same snake. Elsa had finally had enough of whatever this was.
"That's it! Hans, if you don't get rid of that monstrosity I will kill it myself!" She exclaimed angrily as she started to March towards him.
Hans' eyes widened. "You wouldn't..."
"Oh, I would. And I will, unless you get rid of it, right. Now." Elsa threatened with a serious glare.
Hans glared back at her, but reluctantly obeyed, setting the snake on the grass, sadly watching as it slithered away. He turned back to Elsa, who started approaching him even closer now. "I hope you're happy now, your majesty."
"Oh, sure, I'm ecstatic. Now listen, I'm gonna be leaving soon to go see Ahtohallan. But first I-" Elsa started to explain.
"Maybe I should go with you" Hans said suddenly.
Elsa's eyes furrowed at the suggestion. "Absolutely not."
"Why? If it really does involve me then I should be there too." He declared
"Hans, no. You're not going to Ahtohallan and that's final." Elsa declared with serious eyes.
"Why not!?" Argued Hans rising to his feet. "Look I'm just as curious as you are about this weird dilemma we're in."
"Pah, that's one light way to put in." Said Elsa crossing her arms. "The answer is still no. No human being is capable of surviving the freezing temperature of Ahtohallan."
"Oh and you can?" Retaliated Hans with furrowed brows.
Elsa slowly raised her left hand up in the air and with a flick of her wrist commanded magical snow flurries to levitate over her hand in glory while raising her brow up at him.
Hans rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Fine. Whatever you say, your majesty."
"I thought so. Now, you are to stay at the village and not to return to the mountain until I return, is that understood?" She said with seriousness in her voice.
"Piece of cake." Said Hans sarcastically.
"Hans-"
"I got it, okay? I'll stay here and stay close by... Honeymaren. God that woman is annoying, even her name bugs me. You know she hates me right?"
"Who doesn't." Retailed Elsa as she started to walk away. "I have to go back to Arendelle."
"Again? You just got here."
"I have to go. I'm going straight to Anna to tell her the truth." She declared turning to him.
"The truth?" He asked.
"I'm telling her everything. I cannot keep this is a secret anymore she has to know." She said as she began to walk away again.
The declaration almost hit his stomach with shock. He didn't think Elsa would tell her sister this soon.
Hans furrowed his eyes. "Are you sure that's a good idea?"
Elsa glared at him before she turned away and went to the river, not even bothering to answer him.
Arendelle
It was four in the afternoon when Elsa returned to Arendelle. She dismounted the Nokk and changed her white dress into a more regal lilac one with a. Flick off her wrist.
She made her way towards Anna's study, trying her best to prepare herself for how her sister would react to the fact that her ex-fiancé was still alive and had been living in Northuldra the whole time.
"Queen Elsa?"
Elsa suddenly stopped when she heard Hanna's voice. She turned to see the Southern Isles Princess standing in the hallway to her left.
"Oh, Princess Hanna. How did the negotiations go?" Elsa asked as she approached her.
"Very well, actually. We went over the documents and signed a treaty for three years, until we negotiate more business in the future that is. How did your visit to the forest go?" Hanna replied.
Elsa's eyes furrowed at hearing Hanna's bold declaration. "How..?"
"I'm not easily fooled, your majesty. Your dress is a different color than it was this morning." Said Hanna gesturing to Elsa's dress.
Elsa took in a deep breath as she quickly glanced down the halls, making sure no one was around to hear them.
"Is my brother okay?"
"He's... fine. Despite the disturbing discovery that he has a fondness for snakes." Elsa said with rolled eyes, followed with a shiver.
Hanna let out a chuckle. "Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that. Yes, Hans has always found snakes intriguing."
"Are you serious... you couldn't have warned me about that?" Said Elsa with furrowed brows.
"You never asked." Hanna replied with a shrug.
"The man needs help." Elsa said grabbing the bridge of her nose. "Anyways, have you seen Anna? I have to find her."
"I believe she's in her study. Is everything all right?" Questioned Hanna with a raised brow.
"I'm going to tell her the truth. If you'll excuse me Princess Hanna-" Said Elsa as she began to walk away until Hanna interrupted her that is.
"Wait, the truth? What truth, your majesty?" Asked Hanna with widened eyes.
"Everything. Hans, the letter, the league. Everything." Said Elsa not turning back.
"...are you sure that's a good idea?" Said Hanna as she called out nervously.
"Do twins just say everything alike?" Said Elsa heavily as she threw her arms up at the air and began to pace down the hall.
Hanna was left by herself and she could already sense a bad feeling knotting up in her stomach.
She knew this was the right thing to do. Anna deserved to know everything, especially after the treaty that both kingdoms just partook in and how it came to be.
It was now or never.
Elsa took another deep breath and continued towards the study. When she arrived at the door, she was surprised to find a royal guard just outside the door, standing tall and concentrated on anyone approaching their late fathers quarters.
Anna was never the one to have a royal guard standing outside her door, especially during the day so this was odd.
And she knew there was no important meeting scheduled for today because she would have known.
"I need to see my sister." Elsa said as she walked towards the guard, fully expecting him to step aside and open the doors for her.
"I'm sorry Queen Elsa, but Queen Anna is refusing to see anyone at this time, including you." The guard replied with his hand up.
Elsa furrowed her brows. The rather fast reply caught Elsa off guard completely as she looked at him.
Even his smolder was as serious as his words.
"I need. To see. My sister." She requested once again, more serious this time, looking dead at him in the eyes as if she wanted him to see she meant what she said.
The guard shook his head. "I cannot allow that, your majesty."
Now Elsa was annoyed. It was one thing to not listen to her request, but to argue and say he cannot allow that? No. She wasn't going to allow him to make that decision for her.
"I command you to leave your post immediately, or else I will make sure you are relieved of your duties permanently." She demanded coldly. Her stare now more serious firm as she took one step towards him.
The guard's eyes widened. The cold declaration from Elsa even sent shivers down his spine.
Elsa could control her powers, it's true. But when she was annoyed or upset, the temperature of the room would get slightly cool.
He swallowed his spit and gave into Queen Elsa's demands. "Y-yes, your majesty."
The guard quickly stepped aside bowing his head and avoiding Elsa's cold stare as she walked past him, not once taking her glare off him.
She faced the large doors, her father's study and took one final deep breath before entering.
This is it.
When she entered the study she found her sister facing her back towards her. She was standing over her fathers large study desk as she flipped several pages of many documents, each of them stacked separately with one another.
Elsa couldn't see Anna's face, but she knew she could see she was visibly upset. It was unlike Anna to have a guard refuse her in, let alone even acknowledge her own sister when she entered the room.
"Anna, why would you have a guard refuse to even let me in?" Elsa asked as she the large doors closed behind her.
"I didn't want him to let you in because I'm working, Elsa." Anna replied sharply, not once looking back at her. "One of us has to take care of Arendelle, you know."
Elsa furrowed her brows at her sassy yet fiery response but quickly pushed it away. "So, I heard that the final negotiations went well."
"Yeah. No thanks to you." Anna shot back, still not even looking back at Elsa.
"Excuse me? Did you forget that negotiating with The Southern Isles was my suggestion?"
"Of course not!" Anna snapped, finally turning to look at her sister. "But now I'm starting to wonder exactly how you came up with that idea!"
Elsa's eyes widened when she saw how upset and loud Anna suddenly was.
Her sudden outburst caught her completely by surprise. She could almost see the fire burning in her turquoise eyes.
"Did you really think I wouldn't catch on?" She began. "That I wouldn't notice? Not only have you been coming home late, but you randomly leave a meeting? Faking you were sick? I could care less if you bailed, but to lie?!"
"Anna, I-"
"And then you go as far as to have secret meetings with Princess Hanna late at night?!"
Elsa's eyes widened.
"Oh yeah, that's right, I found out. I spoke to Damien and he saw you and Hanna coming up the stairs late last night." Anna sneered as she shook her head.
"Anna, I can explain-"
"Oh really?! If you want to explain, then do it right here, right now!"
"Anna..."
"No Elsa seriously! Go on, Tell me what you have to say and tell me how!" She exclaimed.
Elsa took a deep breath.
It was now or never. This situation was inevitable. She had to tell her and so she opened her mouth and did.
"Hans is alive." Elsa said, finally lifting that burden off her shoulders.
Anna's angry expression vanished and was replaced with shock as if her heart dropped to her stomach. Her tense stance froze in place as the chilling words ran down her back.
"What.." She finally said softly after a long moment her shoulders tense yet slouched over in fear.
"He's alive, Anna... I found him living up in a cave on top of the mountain in the forest. He's been living there for the past two years.."
She felt sick, disgusted and anxious all at the same time. She began to almost fall backwards before catching herself in her fathers desk, hanging on to the edge of the fine woodwork.
"He's been on the run since Princess Hanna freed him. No one knows why and how he got into the forest. The spirits let him in even before you and I arrived there last year-"
Anna held her fathers large desk with two hands now, her back facing her sister and her shoulders hunched over. She was shaking and even began to sweat cold. Her skin had become pale with sickness, even the same tone of color of Elsa's, all while her sister continued to explain.
She couldn't believe what she was hearing. At the same time she couldn't even understand a word Elsa was saying. It was as if her ears were still ringing from those chilling words.
Hans is alive.
"... That's why I'm going back to Ahtohallan. To find out why he was permitted in. And I have to go before the league gets to the forest and causes any damage to the people of Northuldra."
Moments of long silence passed as Elsa waited for her sister to say anything, even move from away from the desk she was clinging on to.
Anna blinked several times. Finally able to turn around to face Elsa. Her turquoise eyes were flashing at Elsa with her pressed and angry brows. A familiar expression she did as a child when she was upset. A familiar expression she shared with their father.
"You lied to me..." she said in a quiet yet bold tone.
Elsa began to slowly walk towards her. "I did it to protect you-"
"You lied to me, Elsa! You've been lying this whole time!" She exploded, even causing her sister to stop dead in her tracks.
"Anna please try to understand-"
"Try to understand? Understand what!? You led me to believe that Hans was dead!" She exclaimed loudly, to the point it even caused Elsa's eyes to widened.
"Anna-"
"UGH, I cannot believe this!" She growled as she walked past her sister and towards the middle of their fathers study. "This whole time he was alive, and not just that. He was living among the people of Northuldra and you didn't bother to tell me? Are you insane!?
"Let me explain-"
"Explain what! That you've been hiding a sociopathic murder!? I cannot believe you, Elsa! So this is why you wanted to establish alliance with the Southern Isles again?"
"It was his idea.." she said after a long pause.
"Oh my God." Chuckled Anna darkly and with anger as she brought both her hands up to her forehead.
"But I made sure everything went according to our benefit." Resumed Elsa quickly. "Arendelle needed to be secure and safe this winter. Aligning with the Southern Isles was our only hope-"
"Please don't tell me Princess Hanna is involved in all this." Interrupted Anna, looking at Elsa again. Elsa said nothing but that was enough for Anna to know. "You're shitting me..."
"Anna please-"
"Not only did you go behind my back to hide this criminal but you even went as far as reaching out to Princess Hanna before I did? And now look what you've done, you've involved her in this whole mess! Do you realize what you've done, Elsa!?"
Elsa furrowed her brows, offended by her sisters bold claim. "I did it for Arendelle."
"You led Arendelle to catastrophe!" Exclaimed Anna. "Do you know what the king of the Southern Isles is going to think now when he finds out his daughter and only daughter plotted with you and his deceased son."
"What do you want me to do, Anna!" Exclaimed Elsa now loudly. "Our people are starving and you're upset with me because I know winter better than anyone else!? This is going to be the worst winter Scandinavia has faced in years, Anna!"
"I'm upset because you lied!" Retaliated Anna just as viscously. "Because you went behind my back and invited Princess Hanna here. Putting her in danger and in the middle of this mess and now putting our whole people in danger! You put our whole families name in jeopardy because you protect this traitorous monster-"
"How dare you." Hissed Elsa as she stepped forward. "Every single decision I've made has been and always will be for Arendelle. For our people. I would give my life for Arendelle and I would kill Hans in a heartbeat the second I suspect he is plotting against Arendelle again!"
"Well earth to, Elsa. He is plotting against you, babe. And he's going to use you to get his way just like he used me." Replied Anna with nastiness in her tone.
"Oh please." Huffed Elsa with anger in her brows. "I'm not a hopeless romantic like you."
"No. But it seems you're more delusional and gullible than even I was." Retaliated Anna quickly, making the harsh comment widened Elsa eyes as Anna stepped forward and walked past Elsa, even bumping her shoulder harshly with Elsa's which sent tripping sideways. "This conversation is over. Hans is to be arrested today. Guards!"
Two Arendellian guards immediately entered as Elsa quickly turned to them and than to her sister. "Anna, no. I made a promise to Princess Hanna-"
"Quiet frankly dear sister I don't care what promise you made. You're shenanigans with you and this criminal are ending today. Guards-"
"No, you will stay!" Exclaimed Elsa with her authoritative voice as she pointed a finger of warning to the guards who immediately seized and did as they were told. Annas eyes widened and mouth parted as she saw them take orders from Elsa as if she was still acting queen. "Anna, you will listen to me-"
"No! No!" Exclaimed Anna as she walked from her desk and towards Elsa again, even angrier than before. "I am done listening to you! I am done with your delusional ideas and your lies!"
"You don't understand, Anna! This is bigger than all of us. He's in the forest for a reason and that's why I need to you come with me to Atohall-"
"I don't care why he's here!" Exploded Anna. "He is to be taken back to the isles with his sister this instant and you will obey me!"
Silence hung in the room after Anna's loud words as Elsa's eyes widened. "What?"
"I am Queen of Arendelle. Me! And I demand these private meetings with you and him cease immediately or else-"
"Or else what?" Challenged Elsa coldly as she took a step forward towards Anna, her cold and icy blues staring at her turquoise.
Annas eyes widened before she quickly continued again. "Or else you can forget about coming back home."
It hurt Elsa to know that her own sister wouldn't hear her out. She knew she would be upset but she never could've guessed she would be this upset.
And than to go as far as to say that?
But Elsa had no choice. Because for the first time in forever, she knew she was right for keeping this a secret. And she almost felt as if she should've just not said a word to Anna.
"As you wish, your majesty." Said Elsa as she walked past her and headed to the door.
Annas eyes widened again, her mouth parted in shock as she watched her sister go. "S-stop! I command you to stop! I am Q-"
"Queen of Arendelle. Yes. I got the message. But guess what, Anna." Said Elsa as she turned to face her sister. "You're not the only Queen of Arendelle. And you're not the only one who loves Arendelle."
Anna had nothing to say. The fact that Elsa was about to leave out the door like she had threatened was shocking to say the least.
"Whether I am in the forest or here, I am still Arendelle's Queen. And I always will be. So don't try to command me, sister. You never will." Said Elsa coldly.
She left through the doors without another word to say leaving a shocked Anna as Elsa quickly passed the halls and out the exit. Sadness and frustration all combined into one.
While Anna was left alone with the guards who were just as shocked as her.
Hanna could hear the shouting between the sisters from almost halfway across the castle. She opened her guest room door and went to get a closer listen she turned one corner and there was Elsa walking the opposite way. She looked so angry. The angriest Hanna had ever seen her.
"Elsa, what's wrong? Did you tell her?" Hanna asked as she quickly caught up to her.
"Yes." Elsa replied angrily.
"Okay... And I assume she didn't take it well?"
"Of course she didn't take it well!" Elsa snapped, making Hanna's eyes widen. "How do you think she feels about the fact that your brother is the one who suggested that our kingdoms repair our relations?! How do you think she feels about us setting up everything to get to this point?! Or better yet, how do you think she feels about the fact we both lied to her about Hans being alive?!"
Hanna sighed. "I know this must be hard for her."
"It is." Elsa replied. "You should know, she wanted to have Hans arrested and sent back to The Southern Isles with you. I think managed to stall that, but I don't know for how long."
"I will not allow her to send my brother home. The moment he'd set foot there again, he'd be sentenced to death." Hanna said firmly.
"Well, you better hope it doesn't come to that." Elsa said before she walked away.
"Wait, where are you going?"
"Back to the forest."
"Again?" Hanna asked incredulously.
"There's something I need to do." She said as she ran down the stairs. While Hanna quickly walked back to her quarters where Cassandra was leaning on the door frame, watching from afar.
"What's the plan, babe?" She said as she took another bite of the leftover krumkake cookie.
"Gather the sisters. We're sleeping in my quarters tonight. No one steps into our room unless it's the queen herself." Said Hanna as she entered the room again.
Cassandra stuffed the rest if the krumkake cookie in her mouth and started to walk towards the shield maidens quarters.
"And for God's sakes find Kristina before she gets kidnapped by some stranger." Called out Hanna with frustration.
Meanwhile Elsa quickly walked past the crowds of people as they all paid their respects to Elsa.
But Elsa was too concentrated and still high of the adrenaline from the shouting and fighting she and Anna were just a part of that she didn't even stop to say hello.
Instead she went back to the same spot she had dismounted from the Nokk earlier. She changed dresses again and dipped her hand in the Fjord as the water spirit appeared before her shortly after.
"Let's go. Now." Elsa said anxiously as she mounted the Nokk.
The Nokk neighed and began to dash through the water towards the forest.
Towards Northudlra.
Northuldra
The crickets were chirping as the evening grew closer and the stars began to come out.
Yelena sighed as she sat down on a stump, setting her staff next to her as she began to rub her knees with the palms of her hands.
Her knee joints were aching again. She certainly wasn't young anymore. She looked up at the last bits of the sun as it partially covered by the clouds and the tall trees she was under, ready to disappear and be replaced by the moon.
Even the weather changed, it had gotten a lot cooler in seconds with the evening setting.
She took in deep breaths from her nose and out with her mouth. All the walking and duties tired her out and she had to stop time to time to catch her breath.
"Yelena?" Came the sudden voice.
Yelena gasped at the sudden voice as the movement of her jump cause her staff to fall to the ground.
She put her hand over her heart and saw Honeymaren looking at her who had stepped out of the large bush trees.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you." Honeymaren said, concerned as she quickly walked forward and picked up Yelena's staff, stretching it out for her to take.
"It's alright, Maren. I was just... lost in thought." Yelena replied, smiling at the young woman as she took her staff back from Honeymaren. "Is something wrong?"
"No, no. I just wanted to ask if I could take over watching the assassins for Aile. She said she needs to check in on her daughter." Honeymaren explained.
"Of course, of course. I still think she should still be taking time off from being a warrior and tend to her little girl."
"Yeah, I agree. I was surprised when she volunteered this morning. She thought she could handle it, but I guess she was wrong."
Yelena smiled. "It was awfully kind of her to name her daughter after the fifth spirit. Do you remember how happy and proud Elsa was when she found out?"
Honeymaren smiled as well. "Yeah. She told me she felt like her sister again in that moment."
"Have you ever thought of having a child, Maren?" Came the sudden question from Yelena after a long silence.
"Yelena!" Exclaimed Honeymaren with widened eyes.
"Do not act so offended, young one. We are both women here."
Honeymaren sighed. "My mother has been pressuring me to find a lover. But between my past relationships and all that's going on right now, I just haven't been interested. Besides I practically already look after a child."
"Ryder doesn't count, Maren." Corrected Yelena with a chuckle. "But I do hope you'll find someone special soon, otherwise you'll end up like me; our people's leader without children or grandchildren." She chuckled.
"Oh Yelena, please. You are our leader." Said Honeymaren as she crossed her arms.
Yelena smiled softly, her eyes looking up at Maren. "For now."
Arendelle
Kristoff slowly entered the study. He had heard about the vicious fight Anna and Elsa had and he knew his fiancé would not be doing well.
The whole castle staff was talking about it as they whispered within themselves. Even retiring their own version of the story of what they just heard and witnessed.
He found Anna looking out the window where he could see how nervous yet angry she was at the same time, still shaken from the brutal argument she had with Elsa.
"Sibling rivalry, am I right?" Said Kristoff awkwardly as he closed the doors behind him.
She said nothing. She didn't even turn around to greet him. She was in obvious distraught still.
"Ahem, So... how are you doing?"
"Pah." Anna sneered. Kristoff swallowed his spit, he knew Anna was about to go off. Big time. "How do you think I'm doing?"
"Well, not good from what the sounds of it-"
"Elsa entrusted me as the acting Queen of Arendelle! She may not have abdicated, but she may as well have! She has no right to give commands to my guards! And then she went as far as threaten to never come back home?!" She exclaimed, her hands gripped in stress and frustration.
"Well... you did suggest that idea first-"
"Excuse me!?"
"Look, honey I'm on your side, okay?" Said Kristoff quickly going up to Anna and grabbing her anxious hands in his.
"Are you, Kristoff. Are you really-"
"Yes! Look, Anna." He sighed. "I've known you and Elsa for four years now. I've seen you guys have arguments and disagreements before. And just like any other sibling in the world you don't stay mad forever. You forgive, you love and you move on.
But what you and Elsa have is special. You two are more than just sisters, Anna. You both are best friends. And I know this bump may seem bad. But just like every other trial before, you both will come out stronger."
Anna sighed stressfully. "I don't think there's any hope of patching things this time, Kristoff-"
"Hey, now those are not the words that would come out of the strongest and most beautiful woman I know." Said Kristoff holding her shoulders and looking at her with tender eyes.
Anna looked up at her mountain man. His positive and endless support was never ending.
Even when she felt like the whole world was against her, including her own kin, Kristoff was still there for her.
She slowly smiled and pressed her head into his defined chest as he sat his chin on top of her head, hugging her warmly and lovingly.
"Oh, Kristoff. What would I do without you?" She said lovingly as she continued to breath in his familiar outdoors smell combined with his freshly bought new cologne.
"Many things." Replied Kristoff with a smile as he held her tighter.
"No. I would be doomed without you, Kristoff." Said Anna as she lifted her head and looked up at her beloved fiancé. "You're always so good to me. Even in my worst moments."
"Those are my favorite moments." Replied as he brushed Anna's tear away with his thumb.
"Kristoff... I owe you an apology." Said Anna as she looked up at him again.
"Why?" Asked Kristoff with furrowed brows.
"I haven't been spending much time with you. And haven't been listening to your needs. I've just been so stressed out with royal duties and wedding plans-" Anna explained.
"Hey. Don't worry about it. You are Queen. You have nothing to worry about. Arendelle comes first." Kristoff replied.
"Still... I can see that you feel distant from me and perhaps that's why we've had some tension as of recently... and that's my fault." Anna continued.
"You will never have to apologize to me, Queen Anna." He said jokingly, causing Anna to giggle. He placed a small kiss on her lips and whispered to her. "I'll always be there for you."
She stared at him lovingly and kissed him back. "I know you will."
They both melted into the slow kiss, feeling each other's sensational lips with one another. Than slowly the tongue started to glide into one another mouth, tasting the wetness of their saliva.
Anna's worries and stress seemed to vanish from her shoulders almost as if it was magic. Like Kristoff was magic. And in this very moment he was.
The slow kisses turned more passionate, more firm and more intense as they even moved their heads in rhythm, trying to see which one of them can kiss harder.
Slight biting in the lips followed as Anna felt her teeth sink into them. Savoring and loving the sensation of his lips.
She's kissed him thousands of times, and each time it felt so much better than the last.
Kristoff raised Anna with his two arms easily as she promoted herself in his embrace. Her golden tiara fell on the way to her father's study to which he gradually set her on top off.
Anna grabbed him from the back of his neck, pulling him deeper into his mouth. He started to slide his hand from the bottom of her leg up, feeling as much as he could from her dress covering her whole body.
They kissed deeper and deeper as Anna began to slightly dig her nails in his defined chest. But that didn't stop Kristoff, instead his hand followed up to her stomach and soon enough he was feeling her breast, feeling them over and under the clothes.
Anna slightly moaned as he felt her, pinching her nipples as his mouth kissed down to her neck. Her hands soon found his crotch and she began to caress and feel his already strong erection. Popping out and barely being withheld from his fitted trousers.
Her breasts completely hung over her dress as his lips and tongue traveled down to her chest. She closed her eyes and moaned while unbuttoning his trousers.
Without hesitation she reached inside his drawers and grabbed the mountain mans large manhood, swinging freely as she held the warm and hard election in her tiny hand.
His lips soon soon found her bright rose colored nipples and began to kiss and suck on them. Wetting them with his tongue in the process.
She moaned harder as she began to her hand up and down his penis with one hand grabbing his large and defined naked arse.
Ah
She moaned as Kristoff with his free right hand reached down her skirt. Anna freely opened her legs for him, even lifting her skirt up as if she was giving him all right to her body.
His hand soon found the lips of her woman hood as he began to feel her from outside her drawers. Anna was practically soaked through.
He opened her drawers slightly and soon digger his hand inside. He began to feel the hairs on her crotch until finding the opening of her womanhood.
He played with her cliterous. Waving the pint of his middle finger in circles and movements that made her roll her eyes.
Soon one finger went inside, than two, than three. Anna moaned as continued to dig inside her, his hand warm and her womanhood warm.
A sensation of inner and outer skin that made both of them go wild as they started to kiss one another again. Kristoff hand was soaked as he continued to finger her.
Meanwhile Anna didn't stop. Instead her hand movement with his penis only became firmer, even using two hands at times.
She lifted her left hand from his giant manhood to her lips.
She opened the hand up to face her lips and spat out a large portion of saliva into her palm. Than she reached back down and began to drag her saliva all over his penis.
His eyes rolled as she wet his manhood, even massaging the tip of his penis.
And they continued like that for ten minutes straight. Moaning into one another's ears, touching and feeling each other everywhere.
All while on top of her late fathers desk.
They're hearts beat faster, they're asses clenched harder and they're hand movements deeper as the feeling of orgasm riled up inside theme
Anna moaned louder and louder as Kristoff's whole fist dug in and out while she continued to pull his manhood up and down faster.
Squirting water began to come out of her, soaking her whole entire drawers and than seconds later came Kristoff.
And they moaned loud into each other ears.
His seed came all over her, landing on her dress and on her chest, while Anna's squirting water dripped down her fathers desk, even wetting the floor beneath their feet.
Kristoff leaned forward, holding the desk hard as the final push of his seed dripped down her dress.
Meanwhile Anna's moaning slowed down as well, catching her breath as her sweaty face rested on his shoulder.
They focused on their breathing, trying to get their normal heart rate back after that familiar and thrilling experience they did so often when alone.
They looked into each other eyes, both of them out of breath as Anna smiled devilishly at him first. "Hey big boy." She whispered.
"I wish we were married already. So we can just have sex right here. Right now." He said, clearly still lacking breath.
"Believe me, my love. I wish so too." She said as she brought her left hand up to her lips.
Her hand was filled with his semen as she began to lick it off, swallowing it whole while sucking each finger one by one, making sure nothing was wasted as it ran down her tongue and mouth.
His seed. She was swallowing his seed whole. Swallowing it even though one day it would be inside her to produce their fine children.
"I love it when you do that." Chuckled Kristoff as Anna licked the final off his semen of her thumb.
He backed up slowly and reached for his drawer and trousers that were touching his feet. He pulled them back up, tucking his now messy shirt in the process while Anna sat up from her fathers desk and began to stuff her breasts inside her corset again.
"My queen." Said Kristoff as he dug inside his pocket and pulled out a handkerchief.
Anna smiled as Kristoff extended it to her. "You sure you want this back afterwards?" She said jokingly as she started to wipe his seed off her dress and chest the best way she could.
"Oh believe me, the smell of you will help me feel better." Grinned Kristoff as he kissed her cheek.
"Here." Said Anna as he folded the now dirty handkerchief and returned it back to him. "I should probably get back and fix this mess Elsa got us into."
"Yeah..." chuckled Kristoff as he approached Anna's large mirror to fix his messy hair. "What did you two fight about exactly anyways?"
Anna sighed as she approached Kristoff and began to fix her hair too. "Trust me, you don't want to hear it."
"Ah, come on. I'm sure it's not that bad. Hit me with your best shot." Winked Kristoff as he began to wipe the saliva off his face.
"Well, you asked.." said Anna taking a deep breath as she went to pick up her tiara. "It turns out Hans never did die. He's been alive this whole time and living in a cave inside the enchanted forest. And to add insult to injury, Elsa has been hiding him for a whole month."
"Wow, that is something." Chuckled Kristoff as he focused on adjusting his trousers one more time. But then suddenly he realized what she said and it felt like a giant brick of wall hit him right in the face as he swung his head towards her. "Wait, WHAT?!"
"Honey, honey. Please, relax. I know this sounds bad-." Anna reassured as she began to approach him.
"HANS!? The Prince Hans? How the hell did this happen, wh-what was Elsa thinking-"
"She wasn't thinking and believe I'm just as upset about it than you are but believe me I will handle it." Said Anna as she gently rubbed his chest.
"I'm gonna kill this guy." Said Kristoff as he began to march towards the door.
"Honey, honey stop. I will handle it okay?" Said Anna as she quickly beat him to the door and touched his chest with her hands again.
"B-but-"
"Kristoff I need you to trust me. Can you trust me my love? Will you do that for me?" She said more firmly now.
Kristoff wanted to explode again. He was so angry that he wished to go up to that red headed sociopath this moment and tear him limb from limb.
But Anna's turquoise eyes said otherwise. How could he say no to those eyes?
He sighed deeply, finally giving into her request as he placed his hands on his hips. "Okay. Fine. I trust you... but if he tries anything-"
"Believe me my dear, I'll make sure you get first dibs." She said as she tip toed to reach his lips and pecked him lovingly. "Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to get back to work. But don't miss me."
Kristoff smiled as Anna winked at him and began turned around to the doors. He slapped her bum with his hand, grabbing a good hold with it as Anna jumped.
"Oohhh Kristoff!" She exclaimed with giddiness as she turned to him again.
"I'll always miss you. And that ass..." he winked as Anna smiled and closed the doors behind her.
Leaving a doubtful and worried Kristoff as he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath of frustration.
Northuldra
"Ryder." Called out Honeymaren as she made her way to their home hut where her brother was already getting ready. "You still haven't cleaned the reindeer from this morning. The meats gonna go bad if you don't clean it before bed."
"Actually about that." Said Ryder as he threw his pillow to right side of the tent, his preferred spot. "Hans offered to clean it up."
Honeyamren raised her brow at him. "Hans offered to clean it up... well, where is Hans than?"
"He went back to his cave. Says his axe would work easier and much faster."
Honeyamren scoffed with her brows now furrowed intensely. "He went back to the cave? And I'm just now hearing about this?"
Ryder scratched his head and shrugged apologetically. "Oh yeah.. Sorry, Maren. I've had a sort of eventful day today..."
Honeymaren sighed and walked towards her side of the tent as she began to undress from her Northuldran gákti.
"You know what, whatever. Whatever. Let him do what he wants. I don't care anymore. But that reindeer better be cleaned or he's dead meat tomorrow." She said stripping of the top leaving her Northuldra cropped top and her light pants underneath rolled up.
She then threw her warm cap from her head to where the folded clothes were to the side as she made herself comfortable for bed.
"Oh. I get it. Dead meat. Cause he's supposed to clean the meat..." said Ryder with widened eyes as he too started to remove the top of his gákti.
Honeymaren sighed shook her head at hearing her twin brothers comment as she covered her whole face with her hands.
The Four Peaks
When he arrived at the cave again he quickly made his way through the circled boulders and headed inside without a second to lose.
He found the axe sitting uprightly next to the wall. He quickly grabbed it and than grabbed a few of his personal utensil too.
Might as well he thought to himself as he started to head back out. It was dark out and the wind was starting to pick up.
He stepped outside and was going to head back down when he noticed a rather bright figure in front of him sticking out like a fading candle in a very dark room.
She had her feet together with her knees up against her chest and her arms wrapped around them, hugging them tightly and her chin resting on top of her knees.
Hans didn't say anything for a moment. He knew it was Elsa. The bright clothes gave it away. A few of the symbols of her dress glowed in the dark majestically yet lightly.
Her platinum hair and her body language gave it away too, even if she had her back facing him.
What he didn't quiet get is why she was here. And how long she's been here. How did he not notice her on the way to the cave? He practically passed right next to her.
The quietness between them lingered and Hans knew she was aware he was behind her. It was obvious by how his loud steps seized the second he saw her.
Yet she didn't say anything and neither did he. He was rather freaked out for that reason as the cool winds continued to pick up.
Hans didn't have all night. The meat is going to rot if he doesn't clean it soon. If she was going to yell at him for not being with the tribe she might as well get it over with before the reindeer goes bad.
He quietly turned to leave and head back to the camp.
But suddenly the unexpected happened.
"She just doesn't understand."
Hans stopped when Elsa suddenly spoke. He turned back to face her, surprised by how the sudden the comment was.
He could hear the annoyance and sadness in her voice almost as if she had just came back from argument of sorts.
He wanted to leave. He wanted to ignore her and just head back down to the camp. He really did not care to listen to anyone's problems. Not even her.
But instead Hans sighed and walked towards the boulders with the axe on his hand. He made his way next to Elsa and then threw the axe to the ground to which is drove into the earth perfectly as it stood still with half the blade in the dirt.
He decided to sit next to her on the ground just a couple on feet away from where she was sitting on top of the large rock with the driven axe separating the two of them.
He leaned back on the boulder, made himself comfortable and sighed. "I take it the meeting went perfect."
Elsa sighed deeply with annoyance and hurt. Even Hans was surprised that Elsa didn't react to his sarcastic comment.
"Well uhh... if you need to vent, I'll listen I suppose." He said as he picked up a few pebbles from the ground. "I mean I have nothing better to do besides clean a reindeer before it rots-"
"She just doesn't understand." She said again more firmly, surprising the auburn haired man once again. "I love Arendelle as much as she does. It's not just her home, it's my home! It's our home! I will do anything to save Arendelle's people from starvation!"
"Ah, so you did end up telling her." He nodded with one of his many expressions.
"And don't even get me started on her trying to command me like I'm one of her servants! I can't believe she threatened to never let me back in Arendelle!" Elsa yelled as she vented her anger with more emotion in her voice.
"Really? Huh." He said with his surprised yet impressed brows. It was obvious Anna developed a lot more confidence than before.
Maybe that punch to his face helped her after all.
"I mean does she really think I want to do all this? Being around you and keeping you in this forest?" She added.
"I agree. Not even I want that." He added.
She sighed as she looked up to the large skies. The whole galaxy was out. There were thousand of stars filling the skies.
"Why do things have to be so complicated.." she said as she looked back down again.
"You know thats a good question." He replied as he started flicking the pebbles out to the open field in front of him. "And I think the answer to that is because why not."
Elsa raised her brow as she raised her head and turned to look at him. "What are you talking about."
She hoped to God he was drunk because she was this close to slapping him back to reality.
Hans shrugged. "Nothing great has ever been achieved without it being complicated to begin with."
"Says who." She retaliated with serious brows.
"Says history. Every general, monarchy or even explorers achieved greatness because they had to go through difficult journeys to get to their destination or their destiny. For example, Napoleon Bonaparte."
"You really wanna go there? Napoleon was a megalomaniac." Argued Elsa.
"Agreed. But he achieved so much because of his ambition. He fought over 70 battles, and was defeated in only eight. He transformed the way in which the French army operated and turned France into the greatest military power in Europe. His confidence and ambition inspired his troops, and their victories brought glory to France."
Hans explained. But immediately Elsa was ready to counter his argument.
"He also invaded Sweden. Did you forget about that part? Aside from the rape and pillage mentioned elsewhere, he did other things. In Haiti, he allowed a genocide to occur; there were ships called 'etouffiers' which were essentially floating gas chambers.
Death squads were sent into towns to find farmers who were absent from their farms and therefore presumed to be rebel leaders. Three times he ran away when his armies were defeated and left his troops after the French were soundly defeated at the Battle of the Nile-"
"Look I am aware, okay? My father met the Napoleon when he forced Denmark and Norway to join in his cause. There's a great deal to reproach about him, but by the same token there's a great deal to respect and admire about him. There have been many others in history who have gone through hell to achieve their greatness." He explained.
"How about you name ones that aren't cruel like Napoleon." Suggested Elsa with a raised brow.
"Okay. Well there's Alfred the Great. The Saxon king of Wessex. It weren't for him Christianity would have never been saved in England and also introduced in Scandinavia, even when I'm not much of a Christian believer myself. His people suffered much loss and bloodshed, being involved in continuous raids due to our ancestors but he never gave up.
His dream of uniting England into one whole country eventually came true. But I think his greatest accomplishment is that he is solely responsible for changing our ancestors ways. If it weren't for him we'd still be Vikings to this day."
Damn. She wanted to counter somewhere in that argument but he made a valid point. For once...
"Then there's Julius Caesar-"
"Okay, okay. I get it. What's your point?" Said Elsa with rolled eyes.
"My point is that many of these people accomplished great things even when the support of the people wasn't upon them. Even when everyone said they were wrong that only pursued them to reach their end goal.
In your case, you aren't cruel like Napoleon. You're not controversial like Julius Cesar or a troublesome monarch like King Alfred was. You are Queen Elsa. The one that would put anyone over her. Especially Anna."
She was quiet. She only stared at him, not knowing what to say. She took his words inside before she finally turn to the skies above her again.
For some strange reason his words own what helped. And she didn't like that one bit.
"You don't know me, Hans." She said finally.
He too looked up to the stars above them, soaking in nothing but the sound of crickets. Finally he spoke. "No. Perhaps not. But I do know that you didn't deny anything I just said about you."
She smirked slightly at his reply and in that very second the northern lights, the Aurora appeared in front of them. Dancing magically in the sky.
Ah ah oh oh
And than her mothers call followed up with the Aurora. She turned to look towards the direction of her voice.
And she knew just across the four peaks was the dark sea. Waiting for her to cross to go Ahtohallan.
She rose to her feet, taking in a slow breath as her stare never once left her objective.
"I need to go." She said as she brought her hand up to cover half of her mouth. "Ah ah, oh, oh, oh, oh..."
Elsa returned her mother's call with her own and immediately the water spirit trailed across the trees and into the ground where Elsa and Hans were.
"Seriously that thing goes against all laws of physics." Sighed Hans as he rose to his feet.
She grabbed a handful of her beautiful hair and began to tie it with a clear hair tie, pulling it up into a ponytail.
She than jumped up on the Nokk again and turned to Hans before speaking. "If for any reason I don't return-"
"You WILL return." Assured Hans.
Elsa gently smirked as she looked down then back up at Hans.
"Seriously though, you need to return. You can't leave me alone with these people." He continued with his annoyed brows.
Elsa rolled her eyes and started to hold the reigns of the Nokk as it started making it's way to the trees.
"With the attitude my sister is right now, who knows what she could be capable. She could send our whole militia after you." She explained, raising her voice up just slightly to be heard past the feisty winds.
"Oh joy. That sounds like fun." Replied Hans sarcastically.
"And don't talk to Anna, no matter what!" Elsa called out as slightly tapped the nokk with her foot, even yelling a command. "Hiyah!"
"Wasn't planning to!" He called back as he watched Elsa and the water spirit descend down the steep trail and towards the dark sea until he could see them no more.
Than he turned back to his axe that was driven in the soil of the earth and pulled it out as he too began descend down the mountain, this time towards the Northuldra camp.
Arendelle
Cassandra peeked out her head out her head from Hanna's quarters. Looking to her left and than to her right. Making sure no one was passing by or watching them.
"Okay coast is clear." Whispered Cassandra as she stepped aside. Hanna walked through the doors, this time wearing a large and beautiful coat made of bear fur.
The fine coat looked more expensive than the whole castle and warmer than the summer.
Cassandra soon followed behind. She too wearing a furry coat over her armor. Only not to so expensive like Hanna's and made from wolves hair.
"Okay. You were able to hire someone correct?" Whispered Hanna.
"Yes. Paid them nine thousand krones like you requested and made sure they're boat can arrive in hour tops." Replied Cassandra as she adjusted the weapons on her belt.
"Where is she?" Asked Hanna as she started to look around. "Is she still coming?"
"I'm coming!" Came through sweet and shy voice from Kristina. She quickly walked through the doors. Wearing a coat herself that Hanna let her borrow.
"Are you... wearing makeup?" Said Cassandra with furrowed brows as she looked as inspected Kristina up and down.
"N-no!" Her eyes widened before as she looked at a curious Hanna and Cassandra. "S-so what if I am!? I just want to be prepared in case we have to be awake all night... you know..."
Cassandra raised her brow up before turning to Hanna as if she wanted to confirm if she too was seeing this.
Hanna sighed. "Cass leave the poor girl alone. If she wants to feel beautiful let her feel beautiful. I put a little touch up on my face too."
"Yes a touch up. Not a ball makeover." Retaliated Cassandra.
"Does it look bad!?" Replied Kristina anxiously.
"No, no. You look fine, sweetheart. Now let's go. We don't have all night." Said Hanna as she gestured down the hall.
Gunnhild, the tallest of the shield maidens peeked her head out.
"We'll make sure everything is secured on our end. No one will enter until you return." Reassured the tall Danish woman.
"Thank you. We won't be long. Three hours tops, maybe four-"
"Go, Hanna. We will be here." Encouraged Gunnhild as she watched the three young woman pace down the hall.
They snuck past the night guards and through the large entry room where Kristina nearly slipped. Luckily Cassandra who was behind her caught a hood of her and covered her mouth before she could make a noise.
They ran outside the castle gates and towards the empty streets of Arendelle. The wind was viscous and cold tonight.
It was a good call from Kristina to wear furry coats for this evening as they sprinted towards the sea.
"Sorry were late! We're here." Said Cassandra who arrived to the decks first.
An old and bearded man had been leaning on the boat, playing with a coin on his hand as he flipped it repeatedly.
"That's gonna cost you an extra four thousand crones." Said the old man as he walked forward.
"Are you serious? Ugh. You're a cunning an old man-"
"Cass, don't argue. We have to go now. I'll pay him when we return." Said Hanna as she quickly helped Kristina into the boat.
Cassandra glared at the grinning and short old man. Rolling her eyes before turning the boat. She stepped in and extended her hand to help Hanna in when suddenly-"
"Stop."
All three of them gasped as they turned around. There in from of them was Damien approaching the boat quickly.
"Oh no..." groaned Hanna.
Cassandra quickly rose to her feet, ready to take out her blade but Hanna was already giving her a signal to stand down.
"Damien, please you have to listen to me-"
"I cannot let you leave, Princess Hanna. By Queen Anna's orders to are to stay in your quarters until she says otherwise." He said. His posture tall and regal as always.
"I understand but this is important. I must see my brother at least until Queen Anna decides to separate us. Please Damien try to understand." Pleaded Hanna as she stepped off the boat.
"Jesus, Hanna. Just don't listen to him and let's leave already!" Exclaimed Cassandra.
"She's right. Stalling is gonna cost you an extra one thousand krones." Added the old short man.
"Seriously!? What the hells the matter with you!" Exclaimed Cassandra with stretched arms as she turned to the old man.
"Princess Hanna I understand where you are coming from, believe I do-"
"I don't think you do, Damien! This is my brother. Regardless of all the crimes he's done he's my brother!" Exclaimed Hanna. "I'll only be gone four hours and will be back before anyone notices you have my word."
"Princess Hanna we must really get going!" Added Kristina while Cassandra argued with the old man.
"I am sorry, your highness. But I have orders from Queen Anna." Said the Lieutenant as he drew out his sword. Cassandra quickly jumped off the boat and pulled out hers, pointing it at him and guarding Hanna all at the same time. "You three are to come with me and return to your quarters. Immediately."
The wind howled loudly as they stood toe to toe. Hanna sighed deeply, closing her eyes in regret.
He wasn't going to change his mind and she knew it because of the loyal man he was to his monarch and to his kingdom.
She opened her eyes and and looked at him again. "Please forgive me for this... hiyah!"
She kicked Cassandra's sword from her hands as the blade went flying in the air. Hanna was so fast that not even Cassandra and Damien had time to register in their brains what happened.
She jumped and grabbed a hold of Cassandra's sword with her right hand, gripping it tightly as she rolled forward at the same time.
She rose to her feet again and immediately started to clash blades with Damien who was responding to every swing she gave him.
"Get to the boat!" Commanded Hanna as she blocked another blade from Damien, pushing it away with her strength.
This time Damien was putting more effort in and she could tell. His swings were rough as she almost lost her balance in a few of her steps.
He drove his sword into a spin in hope to knock her off her feet but Hanna was no fool. She quickly saw her chance and ducked just in time only to jump to he feet again and slammed her fist into his mouth.
Mph!
He grunted as he held his bloodied bottom lip. His eyes widened, surprised that he did that. He turned to Hanna who was grinning at him, almost devilishly.
"You should not have done that." He growled.
Hanna stuck her long tongue at him.
His eyes than grew angry as he once again went for another blow. His blade collided with Cassandra's repeatedly again and again.
But Hanna withstood his blows blocking every blade that collided with hers.
CLINGGG!
Damien managed to the edge of his sword to the bottom part of her blade, making it difficult for her to move.
His manly strength came into practice as the blade approached the side of her stomach even closer. Cassandra was about to step out to help but Hanna had had enough. And so she finished the fight.
OOF!
He exclaimed as his knees touched one another. He fell to the floor pale and out of breath. Hanna had collided her hard knee into his crotch retrieving his own sword from his hands at the same.
She pointed both edges of the sword to his neck as she stood tall while he was on his knees in discomfort and in pain, holding his crotch for dear life.
She retrieved the swords back again slowly from his neck and than dropped his blade in front of him. He looked up at her again.
"I'll be back in four hours. You have my word." She said looking at him.
She turned back to the boat and stepped inside, giving Cassandra's sword back to her as she sat in between the two young women.
The old and surprised man turned to Cassandra who started to glare at him again. "Y-you know what... forget about the extra charges-"
"Just sail already, damn it!" Exclaimed Cassandra as the man quickly obeyed orders and began to steer his ship away from the docks.
"Uhhh..." groaned Damien as he rose to his feet slowly, now holding his stomach as the pain from the knee shot traveled up.
The last thing he saw was Hanna staring at him before she disappeared into the fog with ship.
Two guards suddenly appeared behind Damien, running in despair with their spears pointed outwards. "Lieutenant, is everything all right? Did you find someone?"
He didn't reply. Instead he continued to stare out to the dark abyss as he breathed in deeply.
"No, no was here." He replied after a long while.
"But we thought we heard something-"
"I said no one was here!" He said more strictly as he turned to look at the two guards. "Now go back to your posts. I'm covering the castle ground tonight."
"Yes Lieutenant." They both said in union as they quickly turned and dashed back to castle.
Damien turned back to the sea in front of him as the winds continued to move violently as did the waters with it.
"Four hours..." he grumbled as he massaged his stomach.
The Dark Sea
The storm and the wind was a lot stronger than the last time Elsa and the Nokk made their way across the dark sea.
The strong current would charge directly at them with waves as high as fifty feet in the air trying to take the water spirit and the fifth spirit down to tumble to their deaths.
Ah, ah, oh, oh
"Yes I'm coming mother, all right!?" Exclaimed Elsa, frustrated as they hopped over a pile of sea boulders.
Neighhh!
"I know the weather is strong but we have to keep trying!" Exclaimed Elsa to the Nokk as another wave came down on them.
The water spirit charged with force right towards the wave. Elsa quickly took in a deep air of breath before she and the Nokk dove right through the waves.
They went through the waters and back to their intense riding. Elsa was completely wet. Her pony tailed hair drenched as she coughed up water and held on to the ice reigns tighter.
Neighhh!
"No, keep going! We don't stop till we get there!" Exclaimed Elsa as she ducked her head down again, ready to go through another wave. This time three times it's size.
The Four Peaks
He cleaned the reindeer and set it on the cooking area like he promised Ryder he would and soon found himself back on top of the four peaks.
He figured he might as well sleep in the cave tonight in case Anna or any of her guards came looking for him at the camp.
At least it would stall them while they inspected every hut and corner of the camp for him.
He leaned back in boulder again as the fire he had started warmed his blood. It was cold tonight. In fact he wouldn't be surprised if it snowed in the middle of the night. He could already see flurry's in the air.
He took in a deep breath and closed his eyes. His head leaned back as he took into the beautiful smell of the outdoors.
THUD!
"Oww!" Hans suddenly exclaimed as a large Southern Isles Apple collided the back of his head. He picked up the familiar fruit as he turned around where he saw Hanna walking from the darkness and into the fires light.
"What are you doing here?" He asked with furrowed brows.
"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm visiting my twin brother." She said as walked forward and sat right next to Hans.
"Just you? Or did you come with Cass too." He said.
"You know I came with Cass. She always comes with me. My lady in waiting Kristina came too surprisingly.
The young girl seemed eager to come. Besides. The snow queen has disappeared and her sister doesn't want to leave her room. I figured I should come and visit you, at least depending on the time we have left."
"She told you." He said with an eye roll.
"I witnessed it." She said as she made herself comfortable with her back leaned on the boulder before she extended her large coat and wrapped it around him and herself. "It's the most talked about topic in Arendelle right now. The whole castle could hear them."
"What are you doing? I'm not cold." He argued.
"That explains the fire right?" She retaliated as she reached for her side and pulled out a large bag of Norwegian treats and pastry's.
She sat them down in front of him as his brows furrowed at the bad and than back at her. "See? I'm not such a bad sister after all huh."
He quickly grabbed the kringle that was already in display and brought it up to his nose to smell. His eyes closed at the sweet smell before popping it into his mouth. His tongue was delighted to taste the sweetness of sugar again.
"It's been so long since I've had sugar..." he mumbled as he took another bite of the kringle.
"This brings me back memories." Said Hanna as she took in a deep breath of the cold air and the fire mixed into one. "Remember when we were little and I would always come find you with a blanket after you got into a fight with our brothers?"
He said nothing but his somber face was enough to speak volumes.
"Or when father would make you feel horrible? You would always storm off and hide in the castles attic or on the top of the roof. Or sometimes... even the-"
"Fjords." Said Hans as he stared into the fire. "Yes I remember."
She smirked slightly as she too looked into the fire. "I would always find you with a blanket and a bag of pastry and treats with me. And we would just sit there for hours. Talking nonsense... making fun of our brothers, sharing gossip or just sitting there, soaking up the quietness we aren't used to when inside a Westergaard castle.
We would fall asleep sometimes, hoping we wouldn't wake up, only to wake up the next day..." she turned to look at her brother who's eyes were glowing emerald. And not just from the fire, but from himself.
He turned to look at him, meeting her eyes as he furrowed his brows it's as if she was staring right through him. "What?" He demanded.
"Your eyes have turned deep green, Hans. You know what that means remember?" She said as Hans pressed on his jaw, clearly in discomfort. "We used to watch over you. We knew that when your eyes turned deep green, you were in great danger of hurting yourself... and others around you..."
He sighed deeply as he looked out towards the view in front of him before he looked back down to the fire. "I remember. The old family curse. All of our eyes turn deep in important moments of our lives. Yours do too."
"Yes. And we share the same eyes. Mothers eyes." Said Hanna as Hans pressed his lips again. The guilt and shame filling his heart once more. "Yet your eyes turn deeper than all of us..."
Silence hung again as she looked up to the sky where the Northern Lights still shined beautifully over them.
"The sky's awake." Said Hanna with a gentle smile on her lips. "Remember when mother used to tell us that all the time they showed up in Denmark?"
"Yes. Which was almost every night. We do live in Scandinavia after all." He replied.
"I know your worried, Hans." She said suddenly turning to him. "You can fool many people, but not me. You're worried about everything transpiring."
He said nothing but it was a enough for him to practically confirm to her that she was speaking nothing but truths.
"Remember that song mother used to sing for us every night?"
"Oh Jesus. Please don't start-"
"Come on. Let me have this. Here, lay your head on my shoulder like we used to lay on hers." She said as she opened her arms to him.
"For God's sake Hanna don't start-"
"Hans." She said more firmly as he looked at up at her again. Her eyes were committed to his. "This may be the last time I ever see you. Please. Let me have this."
He sighed deeply and growled as he grudgingly rested his his head on her shoulder. She wrapped her arms around him and snuggled her brother close as if she was her child.
"This is idiotic." He whispered.
"Shhh, shut your mouth." She whispered back as she began to hum the familiar lullaby he heard growing up.
And than she began to sing. Her beautiful voice ringing as it reminded him of his mother. Her smell, her hair, her voice, her singing. Hanna has always been the living embodiment of their mother.
And so he slowly closed his eyes as his sister continued to sing their mothers lullaby.
Where the North wind meets the sea
There's a river full of memory
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound
For in this river, all is found
In her waters, deep and true
Lie the answers and a path for you
Dive down deep into her sound
But not too far or you'll be drowned
Yes, she will sing to those who'll hear
And in her song, all magic flows
But can you brave what you most fear?
Can you face what the river knows?
Where the North wind meets the sea
There's a mother full of memory
Come, my darling, homeward bound
When all is lost, then all is found
Hanna turned to look at her brother who was sound asleep, even slightly snoring as he made himself comfortable in her embrace.
She placed a gentle kiss on top of his forehead as she rested her head on her beloved brothers head.
Her eyes were glowing deep emeralds as his.
Both auburn haired twins fell asleep, wrapped in each other warm loving embrace. Soaking up each other's love with little time that they had.
All while a anxious Honeymaren watched from the hidden trees. Her breathing becoming harder as she tripped backwards, shocked by what she just heard Hanna sing.
She got up and ran back down to the camp, leaving the twins asleep under the northern lights.
Ahtohalllan
Just below the northern lights was Ahtohallan. Standing tall, glorious as ever with it's colorful glows beaming through the night sky.
The strong tides and winds had exhausted both the Nokk and Elsa that they were both spread on the shores of Ahtohallan.
The Nokk was the only one barely awake as he covered Elsa, making sure her wet figure and the cold air didn't cause any illness or such to her.
Despite being the snow queen, Elsa could very well still get sick. Powers or not.
Her brows furrowed and her eyes blinked slowly as her blurry vision focused to see again.
The first thing she saw was the Nokk looking over her and the northern lights still shining under them. But this time it seemed as if they were right below her. Almost like she could touch them with her own hand if she reached.
She slowly sat up, looking to her surrounding and seeing the familiar ice shore she was in just a year ago.
"We made it." She said rising to her feet. The Nokk followed as it made its way back up and started trolling to around the shore, exploring by itself.
Elsa turned to the grand entrance of Ahtohallan. Its structure still standing strong and proud. She walked forward as she remembered the familiar path she took when she arrived and how anxiously excited she was to find the truth.
Ah, ah oh, oh
But now it was different. She almost hated the fact that she returned. Just as she thought every unanswered question had been answered, her own mother comes calling her back to Ahtohallan again.
Every general, monarchy and even explorers achieved greatness because they had to go through difficult journeys to get to their destination or their destiny. Why did she suddenly just remember that?
She took in a deep breath and proceeded forward, drying her wet dress and boots with the flick of her wrist. Not wasting any time, Elsa rushed down the ice slide as her mother continued to call her.
Ah, ah oh, oh oh
She growled inwardly. She was getting sick of and tired of hearing her mother call for her. And she never would have guessed she would ever say that.
She reached the ice pillars and instead of jumping she raised both her arms to the air. Immediately a summoning large staircase made of fine ice that connected all the pillars.
She quickly ran down the stairs until she reached the ice corridors. She made her way to the grand entrance of the room. The same room she became the fifth spirit.
The same room she finally saw her mother again.
Ah, ah oh, oh oh oh
"I'm here, all right? You can stop with the call. It's driving me insane." She said as she shook her head an entered inside.
Ready to find out what was so important.
Ready to find her destiny. Again.
But she was disappointed.
Everything looked exactly the same. Everything.
The same old statues replaying the same movements of her memories. Anna and Elsa playing in the castle, her being crowned queen of Arendelle, letting go of her powers and constructing her grand ice place on the North Mountain.
Everything.
She stopped when she saw the pile of ice blocks that she had dismantled where in front of it was Anna extending her hand out.
It was obviously Hans.
"Why can't you just be dismantled in real life." She muttered as she continued to walk around the walking ice figures.
She even started to see scenes of events that transpired last year. Bruni, the earth giants. The Northudlra. Even her own mother and father.
"What is all this." She said suddenly with extended arms, clearly in distress. "Why did you bring me here? What did you want to show me?"
She expected no answer. She knew this was a giant waste of time. She was about to leave when suddenly something caught her eyes.
There in front of her were two teenage girls. Beautiful young girls who seemed to be doing a variety of things together.
In one sculpture they were farming, cleaning and even going to school together.
In another they were sword fighting, sharing laughs together and even ball room dancing with many men wanting their attention.
They seemed to grow up together as they both matured into woman. They behaved almost like they were sisters...
"This... this isn't my memories..." she whispered to herself as she approached the ice figures.
One of the teenage girls was beautiful and fair even taller than the other girl as they shared a laugh and hug together.
But than that's when Elsa saw it. She caught a glimpse of the second girl and realized something.
Her heart dropped.
"That's... mother..."
Suddenly the whole room had become empty. No ice figures in sight. Nothing except those two girls.
From the outside the Nokk turned to look up where it could see the the northern lights in the sky descending down to the Ahtohallan. Down to where Elsa was.
The Nokk neighed loudly, scared and confused as to what was happening.
Meanwhile in back in the forest, everyone including the Northuldrans and the other spirits awoke from the incredible yet astonishing scene before them.
All of them. Honeymaren, Ryder and even Rhanda stepped outside with many of their kinsfolk.
Yelena rose from her bed, stepping out of her hut with her eyes widened in fear...
And in the Four Peaks Hans gasped as his eyes opened and awoke to the northern lights descending. His emeralds eyes shining brightly as he watched it descend.
But he was so exhausted that his body fell back asleep, not sure if he was dreaming or not...
Inside the giant room the northern lights began to surround every layer of the great and spacious ice room. Filling up majestic colors as if it was teleporting the whole room.
Elsa looked around anxiously with furrowed brows. She's never seen this before. She could see the lights right next to her encircling and lighting up the room. Suddenly it became so bright that it blinded her for several seconds.
She fell to the floor, grunting as she tried to run her eyes, making sure her blurry vision focused on something, anything at this point. She slowly rose to her feet and all the colors of the lights were gone as if they were never there to begin with.
Even the ice figures before her were gone. What just happened?
Than she started to notice a glowing figure from the corner of eye. At least she thought because her vision was still sensitive.
It was as if it was brighter than the sun at noon day. She blinked several times, finally able to see more clearly.
And that's when she felt it.
A strong and almost spiritual feeling filled her heart. As if she knew someone was behind her. As if she knew there was someone waiting to see her. Someone who she knew.
She followed the bright lights behind her and squinted to get a better view past the magical and shining lights. She turned around slowly, ready to see what was behind her.
And then she gasped. Her heart stopping and her eyes widening. The hairs on her whole body rising to who was in front of her. Tears starting to fill her eyes.
She opened her mouth.
"M-mother..."
And indeed it was.
There in front of her stood Queen Iduna, face to face with her own daughter. Smiling at Elsa lovingly like the same day she did when she last saw them.
Her own mother stood right in front of her like a normal human being would. As if she was alive. Her dress still purple and true, her tiara still on her head. Her eye shining blue. Like Elsa's and her presence lively.
Yet her whole demeanor glorious as she shined magically.
"Hello, my snowflake." She said, looking at her beautiful daughter with the most proud and sincere loving eyes.
