He came. He seduced. He conquered.

Then… he left.

Soon to be completely eclipsed.

"How could an angel break my heart?"

"An angel that wasn't an angel at all, Yuff", said Sora apologetically, as I sobbed and gummed on his shoulder, "He almost killed me… and Kairi"

The way he spoke about Kairi made me cry even more. I'm sure if it was Riku, and someone was weeping on his shoulder, he'd talk about me in that far away, deeply in love voice.

Or not.

I may be upset, but I'm not deluded.

"I suppose I deluded myself, didn't I?" I asked, more to myself than Sora, although I'm sure he didn't know that.

He shuffled his feet and wrung his hands whilst biting the nails furiously. I have to ask him how he managed that one day.

Giggling and sniffling, I hugged him and stood up.

"You know you've got me, don't you?"

"Yeah. Thanks, Sora." I turned and left, feeling only a small bit better. But then again, it all helps.

Leaving the castle and skipping down the steps, I gazed out at Rising Falls and thought about going down there to play. I'd almost persuaded myself to, thinking of skitting in and out of the pools and walking on the somehow hard water, when I saw a ship unload its precious cargo at the landing point there.

Riku.

Disclaimer: I do not own the settings or characters in this fanfiction. I don't even own a gummi ship. Not one.

I hope you liked it, I spaced it quite spacily especially for any Annjirikas who may or may not be reading.

231 words! Haha! How very short.

Peace out dudes, thanks for reading and STAY CLEAN,
