The Forgotten

"Awaken Bankotsu, Awaken" a voice as cold as ice said. Bankotsu opened his eyes, but this couldn't be he had been dead he was not supposed to reawaken any time soon. He looked around and saw his comrades, all bone.
"Who are you?" Bankotsu demanded to the stranger.
"I am Naraku, the one who revived you." He said plainly
It had been a wile since then and Bankotsu was half-dead, but still alive. For some reason he had survived the battle with InuYasha. There was something that was unfinished…even in his first death he was restless his soul wandered around the earth. To make sure he did not die again he stole three jewel shards from a lesser demon; one for him and two to fix, and restore Banryuu to its former glory. His blue eyes still had that child-like gleam, but he was in a depression, so he did not smile as often as he used to.
Flashback…
"What are you thinking about Bankotsu?" Jakotsu asked. Bankotsu had a troubled but thoughtful look on his face.
"Huh, oh nothing." He answered as he rolled over.
"OH COME ON BONKOTSU!" Jakotsu wined "You can tell me!"
Bankotsu looked at him and glared, Jakotsu was just one of those people you couldn't say no to…for sanity sake.
"You piss me off when you do that you know." Bankotsu said flatly, but he turned to face Jakotsu which meant he was going to tell him.
"Is it about that girl?" Jakotsu asked. He was referring to a little girl who Bankotsu took care of when he was first alive.
"Actually yes," Bankotsu said "I was…I wonder how she is?"
"She should be around your age now, Bankotsu. She was half-demon after all"
"True I should try to find her."
End of flashback…
Bankotsu stared at the fire that was smoldering in front of him; he watched the shapes that the flames made. He grew tired and lay down to sleep, once again the small child came into his dreams….
The Inu Gang was taking pleasure in sleeping in a real place with real food thanks to Miroku's "troubled sense of evil". InuYasha walked through the village as a "look out" he over herd two villagers.
"Did you here the rumors?" One whispered to another.
"What rumors?" Answered the other.
"That Bankotsu has been spotted, you know the leader of The Band of Seven."
"Really? Your kidding I thought he was dead."
"Me too, but there has been some strange murders lately"
Once InuYasha herd this he rushed back to where the others were staying. He slipped inside careful not to wake Kagome and Shippo.
"Hay, Miroku, Sango, you awake." InuYasha whispered in the darkness.
"Sango's asleep but I'm awake." Miroku said standing up "Let's take this outside."
The two men went outside so not to wake the others.
"What is it InuYasha?" Miroku asked
"I herd that Bankotsu's still out there." InuYasha said looking around
"But how? He died you killed him"
"I don't know but he mite be out there I don't usually believe rumors"
"We won't tell anyone ells in till we know for certain"
"Agreed"
