Chapter 18 King of Games vs Sentinel
Tea was walking through the halls looking for Sean.
Thats when she got pulled into a room making her yell before her mouth was covered.
"Would you relax? I'm not Marik." Korra said making her look seeing it was Korra before pulling her hand.
"What the hell? You almost gave me a heart attack." Tea said making her giggle.
"Sorry. Anyway I wanted to talk to you." Korra said.
"About what? What are you up to?" Tea asked.
"I saw the way you were looking at Sean when he was on the bad end of the duel before he won." Korra said making her nervous.
"Well, I was worried about him since that spirit is evil." Tea said making her grin.
"Please. I'm not stupid. I know that kind of look you were giving him. You have feelings for him ever since he saved you a second time." Korra said making her eyes widen.
"What? No. Besides you two are dating anyway." Tea said.
"Oh please you can't lie to me. You care about him since he saved you twice. Acts like those usually create feelings like that." Korra said making her sigh.
"All right you win. He's smart, Handsome, Charming, Thoughtful and Funny. I'm really jealous you have him." Tea said making her smirk.
"What if it wasn't just me?" Korra asked confusing her.
"Meaning?" Tea asked.
Later
Everyone was back in the room to select the next duelists.
"There you are. Where'd you go?" Sean asked Korra making her grin.
"Oh nowhere." Korra said innocently.
"Bullshit. I don't know what your up to this time around but I don't really care right now." Sean said.
"Now it is time to select the next Duelists." Roland said as the machine started up again before one of the balls came out.
"The first duelist is...Number 4 Yugi Muto." Roland said as Yami took control.
"Pray he doesn't end up with Marik." Lin said eying him.
"Better him than you." Turok said making her glare.
"Knock it off." Sean said stopping them.
"He really has issues with her." Tristan said.
"Well, you can't exactly blame him." Duke said.
"With what she did to his brother oh yeah." Mai said understanding why he hated her so much.
Thats when the next Ball came out.
"Our second Duelist is...Number 6 Turok Kruger." Roland said surprising them.
"Oh wow." Turok said surprised.
"Lets see if his Deck is good enough to defeat Yugi." Seto said.
"Somehow I doubt it but he might give him a run for his money." Sean said.
"I fucking heard that." Turok said annoyed making him chuckle.
Soon both Yugi and Turok were up top ready to face each other.
'Well at least this will be more of a friendly duel.' Yugi said.
'Perhaps but even so theres much on the line. We can't afford to lose.' Yami said as Turok inserted his deck.
"Lets see how far you've come Turok." Yami said making him smirk.
"I've learned plenty. Your Title is mine now." Turok said.
"In his dreams." Seto said amused.
"Lets duel." Both said as both their life points went up to 4000.
"I'll start." Yami said drawing his cards before looking at them. "I play Giant Solider of Stone in Defense mode." Yugi said summoning his Stone soldier.

"Ok my move." Turok said drawing his cards. "I summon Axe Raider in Attack Mode." Turok said summoning his Warrior monster.

"And then I'll give him a little power boost with this. Rush Recklessly. This increases my Axe Raider by 700 points for one turn." Turok said as his Axe Raider now had 2400 attack points before it roared slashing through the Stone Solder easily.
"Not bad. But not good enough." Yami said drawing his next card. "I summon Beta the Magnet Warrior in attack mode." Yami said summoning his Magnet warrior.

"Not much for the opening act." Julia said.
"Ah it'll get more interesting later." Joey said.
"You can do it Turok!" Serenity cheered making Jinora glare.
'Hmm?' Sean asked seeing this. 'Whats with her?' Sean asked.
"You asked for it." Turok said drawing his card. "I play darkfire soldier in attack mode." Turok said as his monster appeared.

"And then I'll attack you with Axe Raider." Turok said as his Axe Raider attacked.
"What he do that for? Both monsters are just gonna destroy each other." Asami said.
"Maybe so but Turok is playing it smart. He's sacrificing one monster to take out Yugi's to attack him directly with the other. It's a clever move. Sacrificing one to fully use the other." Seto said impressed by this tactic.
"I don't think it's gonna work though." Sean said.
"I don't think so Turok. Go Magic Cylinder." Yami said as a Two Cylinders appeared.
"Huh?" Turok asked.
"This Trap card redirects your attack back at your life points." Yami said.
"SHIT!" Turok said as he got slashed losing 1700 life points.

"Oh man. He lost almost half his life points." Mako said.
"He'll be just fine." Sean said.
Turok growled before ending his turn knowing if he attacked with his other it would be pointless.
"Now I summon Big Shield Gardna." Yami said summoning one of his greatest defenses.

"Great." Turok said.
"Next I play another card face down." Yami said playing one card face down.
'I hate these Magic and Trap cards when their used against ya. I gotta summon something new to the field to take that thing down." Turok said drawing his card before grinning.
"Hate to be the bringer of bad news but things are gonna go my way now." Turok said confusing him. "I sacrifice both my monsters to summon My Sword Hunter in attack mode." Turok said summoning his favorite card who had a large number of weapons on him.

"This brings back memories." Duke said making Joey glare at him remembering the dog suit he wore because he lost to him.
"Sword hunter is a powerful card Turok but it's no match for my Big Shield Gardna." Yami said.
"Oh yes it is. When I play this field spell. Sogen." Turok said playing the field spell before the arena turned int a grass plain field.
"Uh oh. Turok may have a bigger advantage here than I thought." Mai said.
"What do you mean?" Joey asked.
"Remember back in Duelist Kingdom our monsters got Power boosts from certain fields? The field spell is something similar. But it can only increase it by 200 points." Mai said.
"She's right. Turok may have a bigger lead and with Sword Hunter's special ability he may be able to stop Yugi in his tracks." Marik said still posing as Namu.
'Interesting. So far all of Turok's monsters are all Warrior types.' Marik said.
"Why is he only using Warrior types anyway?" Marik asked.
"Ah he's a Sentinel like me and Julia. Sentinels are tasked with protecting the Guardians like Kruger who acts as as living gateway for the Ancients back home. Most Sentinels can only summon and turn into one type of Ancient. I can summon Fiend type Ancients while Julia summons spellcastors. But Turok can summon three. Warriors, Beasts and Beast-Warriors. It was rare for more than one back then but there were others like him." Reznov said.
'The more I hear about this world the more I want to see it. Once I drain the power of the Pharaoh I'll conquer this world and these ancients easily.' Marik thought with a laugh.
"Now that my monster is 50 points stronger than your Big Shield Gardna I can destroy him." Turok said attacking again.
"Not so fast. I activate my Negate attack trap card. This ends the battle phase." Yami said as the Sword Hunter stopped the attack.
"I hate these trap cards. Doesn't matter I still have a very powerful Monster on my side of the Field." Turok said.
"I have to Admit Turok is doing better than I originally predicted." Seto said.
"He's always surprising people." Sean said as Yami drew his next Card.
'In order to win this duel we may have to summon Slifer.' Yami said.
'But it's too dangerous.' Yugi said.
'Indeed. But we can't afford to lose this duel. Turok is doing far better than I originally thought he would. He's learned quickly and already has a very powerful monster on the field. Slifer may be the only way to end this duel.' Yami said.
"I play my last face down Card. Swords of Revealing light." Yami said as Swords began to appear on the field.
"The hell is this?" Turok asked.
"These swords will prevent you from attacking my monster for three turns." Yami said.
"Huh. Is that so? What are you trying to do? Stall for time?" Turok asked.
"You seem to forget your brother isn't the only one with a God Card in his deck." Yami said shocking him.
"Your trying to summon Slifer aren't you? Good luck drawing that. The odds of you drawing that in three turns are slim to none." Turok said.
"We shall see. But for the time being I have three turns to draw the right cards in order to win. But for now I shall end my turn." Yami said.
Turok drew his card before grinning.
"I play the Spell Card Black Luster Ritual." Turok said shocking him. "I sacrifice One Monster in my hand to summon this powerful warrior." Turok said as he appeared with a growl.

"And Don't forget my Field spell raises it's Attack and Defense by 200 points. Then I play Monster Reincarnation to bring it back by discarding one card. I'll end things for now there." Sean said.
"Man Turok's deck is just loaded with Warrior types." Tristan said.
"He takes his position very seriously." Jinora said smiling.
"I draw." Yami said drawing his card. "I play Gamma the Magnet Warrior." Yami said summing it to the field.

"And I'll leave things there." Yami said.
"My draw." Turok said drawing his card and smirk. "I play the Magic card Pot of Greed which Lets me draw two card. Next I play the Magic Card Monster Reborn to bring back my Darkfire soldier and then play the Cost down Magic Card which brings a monster's level down by two So I can sacrifice my Soldier to summon an Ancient known as Gilford the Legend." Turok said summing a large Warrior who had a massive sword in hand.
"WHOA!" Joey yelled in shock.
"That guy is huge." Duke said.

Yami narrowed his eyes.
'These Ancients are more powerful than I realized.' Yami thought.
'No kidding. And something tells me Theres more in his deck than we currently know.' Yugi said.
"I draw." Yami said drawing his next card and smirked. "Turok your monsters may be powerful but not as powerful as what I'm about to summon." Yami said.
"Huh?" Turok asked.
"I summon Alpha the Magnet Warrior." Yami said as the next one appeared.

"I know what Yugi is about to do. He did this when we both dueled those Rare hunters." Seto said.
"Oh boy." Sean said.
"I sacrifice all three of my monsters to special summon Valkyrion the Magna Warrior." Yami said as all three monsters broke apart before combining into one.

"Oh shit." Turok said alarmed.
"And I'm not done there. I activate Double Spell. By discarding one Card from My hand I can select one you just previously used. And I choose Monster Reborn to bring back my Stone Soldier." Yami said as he appeared in defense mode. "And with that I'll end my turn." Yami said.
"Hmm." Turok said drawing his next Card. "I pass theres nothing more I can do." Turok said as the Swords finally ended.
"I originally thought I'd need to use Slifer to defeat you. But I suppose thats no longer an issue. I sacrifice my Big Shield Gardna and my Stone soldier to summon my Dark Magician." Yami said as both monsters vanished before the Dark Magician appeared.
"Mahad." Sean said.
"Who?" Tea asked.
"Thats the name of the Dark Magician back home." Sean said.

"Next I activate Card of Sanctity. This allows us to draw until we're both holding Six Card." Yami said as they drew.
"I don't know what your up to but you can't beat all three of my monsters that easily." Turok said making him grin.
"Don't be so sure with what I've just drown. Now then I'll activate these two spell cards. Magic Formula and Book of secret arts. The first increases my monster's attack by 500 the second one however though increases it by 300 which gives my Magician 3300 attack points. Then I play this Final Card. Diffusion wave motion. By sacrificing 1000 life points I can attack all your monsters with my Dark Magician." Yami said as his Magician powered up before blasting all of Turok's monsters to nothing.
"Damnit!" Turok said.
"And don't forget about my Magna Warrior. Now Valkyrion attack his life points and end this duel." Yami ordered as Turok was attacked losing the remainder of his life points.
"Aw man." Bolin said disappointed.
"Well, fuck." Turok said.
"Poor Turok." Jinora said.
Turok fell to his knees.
"Damn. I was this close." Turok said annoyed while Yami laughed walking to him.
"You fought honorably. You should be proud." Yami said making him grin.
"Next time I'll bring you down." Turok said.
"HAHAHAHA!" Sean laughed.
"He's not easy to get down is he?" Seto asked amused.
"Hardly. I'd say he did pretty good. He was real close to winning the duel if Yugi hadn't played those exact cards." Sean said.
"The Next Duel will begin in 20 minutes." Roland said.
'That was an intense duel. But the worst is still ahead.' Yugi thought.
Authors Note: Not as long as the last Chapter but still intense nonetheless. Now Next Chapter Joey vs Odion still posing as Marik. I always found that dumb to be honest.
