Chapter 21 A duel with Destiny
Everyone was in Mai's room as she was getting checked by Sean using his Puzzle.
"Well?" Yami asked.
"Her memories should fully return by morning. Luckly I was able to block some of Marik's mind garbage. Honestly I fucking hate Shadow games. Just as Bad as Anubis." Sean said.
"Yeah no kidding." Joey said.
"By the way that reminds me. What the fuck? Why did you give Lin her bending back?" Turok asked making her glare.
"I did that so she could keep an eye on Odion incase Marik pulled something again like before. Better to be safe than Sorry." Sean said.
"But she didn't even fucking apologize." Turok said.
"You really expect her to give one?" Seto asked .
"Nope. I'd get more luck getting Weevil to apologize for cheating...While dangling him by his legs above Seto's building." Sean making Joey and the others to laugh.
"Just drop it." Lin said.
"Fuck you." Turok said making her glare.
"Turok." Sean sternly making him growl.
"Whatever." Turok said leaving while harshly bumping into her making her glare more.
"Your brother has some serious anger issues." Tea said.
"Only towards her. Though you can't blame him since she did cripple me." Sean said.
"Enough." Lin said.
"Now the final duel takes place. Seto facing our mystery duelist. Whats the old saying? Save the best for last?" Sean asked making Seto smirk.
"Oh whatever." Joey said.
Soon enough everyone was back on the sky deck for the final duel.
"Where is this guy anyway?" Reznov asked before Sean's puzzle began to glow.
"I think we're about to find out." Sean said as the elevator opened up as the final Duelist arrived.
"You have some nerve you know that? Not once showing your face during any of this. Who are you?" Seto asked before the person revealed herself.
"Ishizu?" Sean asked surprised seeing her. "Oh well that just fucking figures." Sean said.
"Well, this is a surprise." Seto said.
Marik was struggling with his good side.
'SISTER HELP ME! PLEASE' Marik yelled.
'Stay where you belong, you fool.' Yami Marik said suppressing him.
"Hey isn't that the woman you told me about?" Korra asked.
"Yup thats her. I can only assume why she's here." Sean said.
"We meet again, Seto Kaiba." Ishizu said.
"So, you've come to win back Obelisk." Seto said.
"What I've come for is of greater importance. I've come here to save my brother." Ishizu said surprising them.
"Brother?" Seto asked.
"You sound surprised. They have the same last name." Sean said making Seto curse himself for not seeing that.
"So you used me this whole time to draw him out." Seto said.
"Partially. I knew once you learned about the Egyptain God Cards you'd want them to be added to your deck. Then once you learned about the Ancients from Sean's universe you'd want to add as many to your deck as possible." Ishizu said.
"Obviously." Seto said.
"However this event was destined to happen." Ishizu said.
"I may now believe in this magic part of the world considering whats happened since they arrived. But even I don't believe in destiny. There is no such thing." Seto said.
"Your wrong. Destiny is in all our futures." Ishizu said.
"Incorect." Sean said getting her attention. "Nothing is written that cannot be unwritten. There is no such thing as Destiny. Theres chance and the choices we make which affect our present and future." Sean said.
"Exactly." Seto said agreeing.
"Perhaps." Ishizu said.
"Enough of this. Lets get this over with." Seto said preparing his deck as did she before both their life points went to 4000.
"Seto. piece of Advice. While the future is never truly written that necklace of her's is similar to the eye." Sean warned.
'Great.' Seto said annoyed.
Marik was once more struggling with his good side.
'Help me, Ishizu! Please!' Marik yelled.
'BE SILENT!' Yami Marik yelled containing him.
"I'll start. I summon Vorse Raider." Seto said placing his first monster on the field.

"Heh." Sean said amused seeing one of the best Warrior types back home.
"And now I'll place one card face down." Seto said placing a card on the field.
"My necklace shall predict your every move." Ishizu said.
"Maybe you didn't hear. Nothing is written that cannot be unwritten." Seto said.
"We shall see." Ishizu said drawing her cards.
"Seto can win this right?" Jinora asked.
"Only time can tell as we are only beginning. But I got my money on him." Sean said
"I summon Keldo." Ishizu said summoning her monster without even looking at it.

"Oh great. Are you seriously going to trust everything that necklace tells you?" Seto asked annoyed.
"My Necklace has shown me the fully outcome of this duel and it shows you will lose by the same card I gave you." Ishizu said.
"How naive are you?" Seto asked.
"Perhaps this will convince you. I play the Magic card, Michizure of Doom." Ishizu said shocking him.
"That allows her to pick two cards from his hand and discard them. But then he does the same to her." Yami said.
"I pick Polymerization and Kaiser Glider." Ishizu said without him showing.
"Ok I get it already." Seto said discarding them before she showed her hand. "Discard Revival Magic and Monster Reborn." Seto said making her do so.
"I shall end my turn." Ishizu said.
"Then I'll start mine by attacking with Vorse Raider." Seto said as his monster destroyed her monster easily.
"So far it seems he's in control." Asami said.
"Still early. A lot can change." Turok said.
"Don't fucking jinx him." Sean said.
"I don't know. She might be able too see the future but Kaiba's got an Egyptian God Card." Joey said.
"It all depends on how you use it. Even he knows that." Sean said looking at his Ancient Version in hand.
"Now I'll place one card face on the field again and end my turn. Let's see if you necklace can predict this." Seto said.
'Oh I'm more than willing to bet it has. While the Future is never set in stone that necklace can make things difficult for him just like with Pegasus using the eye or Amon before Bakura took it like the coward he is.' Sean said.
"Very well then." Ishizu said drawing her next card before playing it on the field.
"She's up to something." Korra said.
"No doubt. That Necklace will make this duel difficult for him. Still anything can change the future." Sean said.
"Now I summon Mudora." Ishizu said as it appeared.

"Next I activate the magic card sword of Dagra! This shall increase the attack points of my monster by 500." Ishizu said as it went to 2000. "And now I shall attack your vorse Raider." Ishizu said as her monster attacked making him smirk.
"I was hoping you'd do that. Go Magic and trap Cards Shrink and Crush. My Shrink card cuts my monster's attack points in half while Crush infects it with a deadly Virus that when its destroyed infects most of your deck. Any monster above 1500 in your deck and hand are immediately sent to the Graveyard." Seto said as his monster was destroyed and spread the virus to her monster on the field and her hand and deck making her gasp. "Your deck is completely useless now." Seto said as she was forced to give up most of her cards.
"Nice move. He got rid of all her powerful monsters." Turok said while Sean narrowed his eyes.
"No something ain't right. If She can see the future she had to know that was coming. She's up to something." Sean said.

"It was well worth the Life Points I just lost since theres no card in your deck that can stand against me...Not unless you have an Ancient which I doubt." Seto said.
"I don't need a powerful monster nor an Ancient as you are about to see." Ishizu said as he frowned.
'I don't know what she's up to but I very much doubt she can stop me.' Seto said.
"I play swords of revealing light." Ishize said as they appeared.
"Oh not again." Turok said annoyed. "I'm really starting to hate this card." Turok said.
"Oh get over it." Sean said.
"This seems like a desperate move if you ask me." Seto said grinning.
"This is no desperate move. Fate dictates..." Ishizu said.
"Enough. I've had it up to here with that destiny speech as frankly so has everyone else. There is no such thing." Seto said running out of patience with her.
"We shall see. In three turns you will draw the card which will lead to your demise." Ishizu said.
"Please." Seto said drawing his card. "I summon Dark Gremlin in Defense mode." Seto said as it appeared.

"And Then I'll place this face down." Seto said ending his turn.
Ishizu drew her card and ended her turn.
"She's up to something." Tenzin said.
"Clearly. She's way too calm about all this." Sean said.
"What do you think she's up to?" Bolin asked.
"I don't know. Those who possess a Millennium Item are difficult to defeat in our world when it comes to more physical battles. In this game it makes it more difficult depending on the Item in question." Sean said.
"You stopped me for three turn and yet you don't summon even one monster." Seto said drawing his next card and ended his turn seeing it was of no use.
Ishizu drew her next card and ended her turn.
"What is she up to? She hasn't played one monster." Asami said.
"If she can see the future she should know whats coming." Mako said.
"Unless this is part of her strategy." Yami said.
Seto drew his card and passed again.
"ENOUGH PASSING! Get to the action...OW OW OW!" Turok yelled as Korra pulled his ear.
"Will you put a lid on it." Korra said.
"Well, this is boring. Just as about as boring as Tenzin's morning lectures." Turok said making him frown while Jinora and Serenity giggled.
"Ignore him." Sean said.
Ishizu drew her next card and looked at it making Sean narrow his eyes.
"She drew something dangerous. I can just tell." Sean said.
Seto drew his next card and grinned seeing Obelisk the Tormentor.
"You have just sealed your fate." Seto said. "You failed to summon a single monster in those three turns." Seto said.
"My swords are gone so you are free to attack." Ishizu said.
"Thank you for stating the obvious." Seto said as they vanished. "Now Dark Gremlin! Attack her life points now!" Seto yelled as his monster attacked.

"And now I'll make sure your deck is even more worthless. Go Virus Cannon." Seto said as it appeared. "This trap will destroy ten random Magic cards from your deck making it even more weak." Seto said grinning as she discarded them.
"Now what can she do?" Jinora asked.
"I don't know. Theres only a handful of cards that could turn this around for her." Sean said.
"I told you before I am destined to win this duel." Ishizu said making him frown.
"Not this nonsense again. I told you I don't believe in that. And besides you got nothing left." Seto said.
"But I still have my trap cards. I play Exchange of the spirit." Ishizu said shocking him and some of the others.
"Oh shit that ain't good." Sean said alarmed.
"Why? What does that do?" Korra asked.
"It switches things around. At a cost of 1000 life points. Every card currently in their decks go to the Graveyard and the Cards in their Graveyard go back in their decks." Yami said.
"And because Ishizu lost all her powerful cards earlier she's in a good lead." Mako said.
"While Seto on the other hand only has six which means once he runs out he'll lose the duel." Asami said.

Seto had a look of horror on his face seeing he was at a major disadvantage.
'How could I let this happen?' Seto asked.
"This doesn't look good." Korra said.
"No it doesn't." Sean said as Mokuba rushed up. "Mokuba?" Sean asked.
"What happened up there?" Mokuba asked.
"Never mind that. Did you finish translating the card?" Seto asked.
"Not yet. Theres on line left." Mokuba said.
"Now I shall summon Kelbek." Ishizu said summoning her new monster.

"And I place one card face down." Ishizu said.
"Theres no way Rich boy can turn this around with just six cards." Joey said.
"You'd be surprised how much people can surprise ya." Asami said.
"He does have that God Card in his hand doesn't he?" Tea asked.
"Yes but the problem is he lost most of his monsters thanks to Exchange of the Spirit. He doesn't have enough to sacrifice." Sean said.
"Make your move." Ishizu said.
"When I'm ready!" Seto said about to draw.
"You will pick Virus Cannon." Ishizu said making him growl as he drew it like she said.
"Oh man he's in a tough situation here." Reznov said.
"As long as she has the power of that necklace she has him at her mercy." Julia said.
"Not exactly." Sean said confusing them. "Her powers have limits. All he needs to do is find a way past it." Sean said.
"I've had enough of this nonsense! Activate Virus Cannon." Seto said playing it.
"Activate Muko." Ishizu said activating her trap which negated his making him growl.
"Easy Seto." Sean said getting his attention. "Theres still plenty of time to turn this around." Sean said.
'Believe me I do have a way. But as long as she can predict my moves before I make them it puts me in a severe disadvantage. It's like dueling Pegasus all over again.' Seto said looking at his soul exchange magic card. It could give him a chance to take her monsters and sacrifice them but he needed her to have three.
"Now I summon Zorga, in attack mode." Ishizu said playing her second monster.

"Now attack his Dark Gremlin." Ishizu said as her second monster destroyed his Gremlin before the first attacked him directly making him growl.
"Are you done?" Seto asked.
"No. Next I place this card face down." Ishizu said ending her turn.
'No doubt another trap. I need to avoid losing life points long enough to Summon Obelisk.' Seto said before drawing his next card.
"Activate Muko." Ishizu said.
"Again?" Korra asked.
"Fucking figures." Sean said as Seto growled as he sent his card to the Graveyard.
"I play this face down. Your move." Seto said.
"Very well. I place one card face down." Ishizu said.
'My Sacrifice blast trap card has already infected one of my monsters. Once I summon a third he'll use Soul exchange to take them and sacrifice them which will be transferred into Obelisk.' Ishizu said.
"Now I summon Agito." Ishizu said as her third and final monster appeared.

'I can't afford to wait any longer I need to activate my card now...But wait! What is she's expecting that? NO! I need to seize the moment now!' Seto yelled.
"I activate Soul exchange. Your monsters are now mine! And I sacrifice all three to summon my Egyptian God Card! Obelisk the Tormentor!" Seto yelled as he summoned his Legendary beast that roared as it appeared.

"Hello." Turok said.
"This has grown tiresome." Marik said leaving when his rod began to glow.
"Obelisk attack now!" Seto said.
"WHATS THIS!" Marik yelled gaining everyone's attention as his rod glowed brightly. "MY MILLENNIUM ROD! IT'S ACTIVATED BY ITSELF!" Marik yelled.
"Thats not the only thing." Tenzin said seeing Seto spacing out before holding his head.
"Seto you all right?" Sean asked.
"You ok?" Mokuba asked before he looked at his card before narrowing his eyes.
"Wonder whats going on with him?" Korra asked while Sean frowned.
'Seto's Doubleganger held the Rod in my universe and his past life also held it. Could it have shown him something to win this duel?' Sean asked.
"I play silent Doom which lets me bring one monster from my graveyard. And I summon Gadget solider." Seto said bringing a monster back.

"Whats is he up to?" Sean asked.
"Before I can summon my blue eyes I need to sacrifice two monsters." Seto said.
"Wait what?" Sean asked.
'This isn't the future my necklace predicated.' Ishizu said.
"Hear me now! I will not be controlled! I decide my Future! I sacrifice both my monsters to summon my Mighty Blue Eyes White Dragon!" Seto yelled as both monsters vanished before the Blue eyes appeared and roared loudly.

"Now Attack with White Lightning!" Seto yelled as it charged up before blasting her making her groan as she lost all her life points.
"I told you before Ishizu. Theres no such thing as Destiny. Theres Chance and the choices we make. And this proves it." Sean said making Seto nod.
"Perhaps you are right." Ishizu said.
"And the Winner of the final Match is Seto Kaiba. The Final Five Finalists are Sean Ashburn Kruger, Yugi Muto, Joey Wheeler, Marik Ishtar and Seto Kaiba. We will arrive at the final Dueling site by morning." Roland said.
"Now the fun can begin." Marik said looking at Sean who glared as the Millennium Symbol on his head glowed.
Later
"Hey wait up." Sean said to Seto approaching him. "The hell happened back there?" Sean asked making him look around.
"Believe it or not but I saw visions of the Blue eyes. Thats how I won that duel. What does it mean?" Seto asked.
"Was there anything else?" Sean asked.
"I think I saw my past life holding some woman with long white hair." Seto said.
"White hair? Oh. That must have been Kisara's doubleganger." Sean said.
"Who's Kisara?" Seto asked.
"A guardian and she held the Blue eyes Ancient inside her a million years ago. It's actually a God Level Ancient back home." Sean said.
"You never told me that." Seto said.
"I thought it was obvious. They aren't judged by attack points like here. They're judged by power alone. You'll see soon enough." Sean said as Marik passed them making them frown. "Provided we deal with him soon." Sean said.
"We will." Seto said.
Authors Note: Sorry for the wait. Some things came up. Anyway Next Chapter we learn more about Marik's past and some other things occur.
