Chapter 28 Champion vs Creator

Its been a couple weeks since Sean and the others made it back to their universe.

Now Seto's company was tearing down what remained to build a new City.

The Ancients helped speed things along a lot faster.

Right now everyone was back at the South in the old Cave Sean was found in.

Seto was looking at the carving of his Blue eyes.

"Absolutely incredible." Seto said.

"Man check this out. I recognize almost all of these guys right off the bat." Joey said.

Thats When Seto noticed a hidden pressure plate.

"Whats this?" Seto asked pressing it before a secret door opened up.

"Never found that before." Sean said as they went in.

When they did torches went off showing millions of carvings on the walls.

"Whoa!" Joey said.

"Theres got to be millions in here!" Yugi said.

"There are billions of Ancients. Most of which are very low level ones. These one are the higher low levels to to God Level Ancients." Sean said seeing Cyber End Dragon on the wall. "My guess is this place holds the kind that can still fight back." Sean said.

"I can tell." Seto said seeing some of the kind he used in previous duels.

"Man. Theres no way we can get all of them made into cards so quickly." Joey said before Mokuba rushed in.

"Seto! We got trouble!" Mokuba said.

"If it's Unalaq Tell Roland..." Seto tried to say.

"No...It's Pegasus. He's here!" Mokuba said shocking him and the others.

"Wait the same Pegasus who made the game?" Sean asked.

"Yeah." Mokuba said.

"The hell is he doing here?" Sean asked as they rushed out.

When they rushed out they saw Pegasus along with his men outside.

"Pegasus!" Seto yelled.

"Well, it's been a long time Kaiba Boy." Pegasus said amused making him growl. "And you must be Little Kruger. I've heard much about you since you won the Battle City Tournament. Imagine my surprise you were from another universe where Duel monsters are real and known as the Ancients. I'm indeed very impressed." Pegasus said.

"Enough. Why are you here?" Seto asked.

"Why ask questions you already know the answer to?" Pegasus asked.

"You want the carvings inside the cave." Seto said.

"Bingo. After all since your little protege made his Ancient versions I'm eager to see the rest and make them into duel monsters. It's only fair." Pegasus said.

"Forget it. My company has rights to the cave and everything inside by his word." Seto said making Sean nod.

"Ah but you forget though. I'm the owner of duel monsters. Any new designs have to be approved by me. I let Little Kruger's prototypes in because I was intrigued by them. If you want the rest made into cards then I have rights to see and design them." Pegasus said making him growl. "But perhaps I could make a bargain for them. Say an increased number of construction workers to speed up the construction of the new Paradise City?" Pegasus said making him frown.

"Your willing to help speed things along?" Sean asked curious.

"But of course. I don't just expect to get what I want. Not anymore. They say defeat can make you humble." Pegasus said.

"Forget it. Theres no..." Seto tried to say before Sean held up his hand.

"It could speed things along faster. The faster things go the sooner we can prepare for making the games to attract people back." Sean said.

"I don't disagree but I don't trust him after the stunt he pulled with that eye." Seto said.

"He doesn't have it anymore." Sean said surprising him. "I think the spirit of the Ring took it since it's after the seven items. When Pegasus was weak from his duel he took advantage just like the one here with Amon." Sean said.

"The deal isn't good enough though." Seto said.

"Then let's sweeten the deal." Sean said walking back. "What about the cards you make?" Sean asked.

"Oh trying to get a better bargain now are we? I can't say I didn't see that coming. How bout this? I offer the cards at half price...Or Free if you can defeat me in a duel." Pegasus said shocking them.

"You want to duel me?" Sean asked.

"But of Course. I want to see which is better my originals or your Ancients." Pegasus said.

"Perhaps another deal is in order?" Mana said appeared.

"Hey mom." Sean said.

"Oh do my ears deceive me? The Legendary Dark Magician Girl is your mother? Well, I guess that explains your potent connection to powerful magic." Pegasus said amused.

"Partially. You don't seem to understand I'm only half human. The rest is Ancient." Sean said.

"You certainly are full of surprises. So my dear what is this deal?" Pegasus asked.

"For one repairing the eye you lost...And bringing back the woman you lost." Mana said shocking him.

"Whats she talking about?" Sean asked.

"Pegasus did what he did to use Kaiba's technology along with some more Millennium Items to bring his wife back." Tea said.

"Thats it? I was expecting him to become vastly more powerful." Seto said.

"Please I was never interested in power. If I win I'll still send my construction workers to help speed up the construction of New Paradise City and depending on the cards in question I'll make them half priced. If I lose they become free. Either way I regain my eye and my wife back." Pegasus said.

"Fine by me." Sean said preparing his Duel disk before Pegasus had one of his men bring his before putting it on and put his deck in as their life points went up to 4000.

"Allow the creator to start things off." Pegasus said drawing his cards before grinning. "I place one card face down and end my turn." Pegasus said.

"My Move." Sean said drawing his card and grins. I play my Gift of Sanctity field spell." Sean said as the treasure room appeared.

"Oh my." Pegasus said.

"This allows us to draw till we have six cards in our hand during our turns." Sean said before summoning Clayman in Defense mode.

"Oh my. I look forward to seeing these other Ancients. I sacrifice my Face down monster to summon Parrot dragon." Pegasus said as his new monster appeared.

"If he plays that toon world card he's in trouble." Tea said.

"Lets hope it's not too soon." Mokuba said.

"My draw." Sean said drawing his card and smirk. "I play polymerization to fuse my Clayman with Burstinatrix to summon Rampart Blaster." Sean said as his new hero appeared.

"It's still even with my monster little Kruger." Pegasus said amused.

"Rampart attack." Sean said shocking him as his new monster fired missiles that went past the dragon and hit Pegasus making him groan as he lost 1000 life points.

"But how?" Pegasus asked.

"My Monster can attack you directly if she's in defense mode." Sean said making him chuckle.

"How clever. Now My move." Pegasus said drawing his cards and chuckled. "Tell me little Kruger. Did you ever watch cartoons in your childhood?" Pegasus asked making the others nervous.

"We didn't have TV till now so no." Sean said.

"Oh yes. How rude of me to assume. Well, then allow me to introduce you to toon world!" Pegasus said as his toon book appeared at a cost of 1000 life points. "Let the fun begin." Pegasus said.

"This isn't good." Joey said.

"What? It's just a little book." Korra said not seeing the issue.

"That toon book and summon Toon monsters. And they can't be destroyed by other monsters unless their toons as well." Seto said remembering how annoying these creatures were.

"Oh boy." Asami said.

"No I play the magic Card Cost down. In order to sacrifice my Parrot to summon my Blue eyes Toon dragon." Pegasus said shocking him as the parrot vanished before the Toon of Blue eyes appeared making funny faces.

"The fuck is that?" Sean asked disgusted.

"What? He's so much more cuddly now." Pegaus said as his dragon started making kissing motions at him making Sean growl annoyed.

"I hate that thing." Seto said.

"I don't blame you." Korra said.

"Now attack his Rampart Blaster." Pegasus said as his dragon destroyed his only defense. "And I play this face down." Pegasus said.

"Ok thats it." Sean said drawing his card. "I play the magic Card Monster Reborn to bring back Clayman. Next I play my cost down to summon Tri Horned Dragon." Sean said as his best card appeared and roared loudly.

"And next I play Dragon treasure to increase his attack by 300. Now Attack!" Sean yelled.

"Sean wait!" Yugi yelled as his dragon tried to slash the toon but he dodged.

"The fuck!" Sean roared in shock.

"Oh did I forget to mention that Toons can't be destroyed except by other Toons?" Pegasus asked amused making him growl.

'Now I know exactly why Seto has issues with his cards. They are annoying.' Sean said annoyed.

"Oh don't look so sour. At best you have to lose is your title you just won 2 weeks ago." Pegasus said.

"Like I care. I'm not one for titles." Sean said.

"Oh really?" Pegasus asked surprised.

"Ask them." Sean said looking at the others.

"It's true. He doesn't really care much." Korra said.

"Now then." Sean said playing three cards face down.

"My move already?" Pegasus asked amused drawing his cards and chuckled. "I think I'll go and play dragon capture Jar." Pegasus said as his Jar appeared before sucking up Sean's dragon.

"HEY!" Sean yelled annoyed.

"Oh don't be so sad. I plan to summon him back. I play dark eyes Illusionist." Pegasus said as his monster appeared in defense mode.

"What is he up to?" Asami asked.

"He must be trying to take control of his Tri Horned Dragon." Seto said.

"Hmm." Sean said drawing his next card before smirking. "I play Remove trap so now my dragon is back on my side of the field." Sean said as his Dragon was freed and roared loudly. "Then I play this Spell Card. Ancient prevention." Sean said.

"Ancient Prevention?" Pegasus asked curious.

"It prevents your monster from using any abilities." Sean said.

"Oh you knew." Pegasus said disappointed.

"Wait something's wrong." Seto's said.

"Now attack!" Sean ordered as his dragon went on the attack.

"Sean wait!" Mokuba yelled.

"Sorry Little Kruger but that wasn't a smart move." Pegasus said confusing him. "I play My Crush card with my Dark Eyes. And since it has no attack points and a dark attribute monster it fits the bill. So now..." Pegasus said as his dragon destroyed it before a purple mist appeared and the dragon roared before being destroyed. "All monsters above 1500 attack points are now useless." Pegasus said as Sean growled losing more than half his deck.

"Oh man. Sean's about to lose this." Joey said.

Thats when Seto saw Sean's grin.

"Wait a minute. I think he did that on purpose." Seto said.

"Huh?" Mokuba said.

"He's up to something." Seto said.

"Now my Toon dragon attack him directly!" Pegasus said as Sean got blasted making him groan.

"Sean, come on!" Tea yelled.

Sean just started chuckling making Pegasus and the others confused.

"You live up to the name you were given...But I win." Sean said shocking him as his face down was revealed.

"Painful choice?" Pegasus asked.

"Here are the cards." Sean said making him chuckle.

"Whatever your about to do it won't work Little Kruger." Pegasus said before they appeared. "WHAT!" Pegasus asked seeing the five pieces of Exodia.

"Go on. Pick one." Sean said making him shake.

"Why would he do that? He just lost his best chance to win." Joey asked.

"Just watch." Seto said knowing he was up to something.

"I pick the left leg." Pegasus said as Sean kept it while the others went to the Graveyard. "I don't know why you wasted such powerful cards but oh well." Pegasus said.

"I'm not finished." Sean said confusing him. "Go Backup soldier." Sean said as it was revealed.

"Backup soldier?" Tristan asked.

"It lets him pick three monsters from his graveyard." Yugi said.

"I pick the leg and arms." Sean shocking them.

"Your still missing the head." Pegasus said calmly making Sean point down to his final face down shocking him as it flipped up.

"Monster Reincarnation." Sean said as he discarded one card to bring back the head before having all five pieces back in his hand before Exodia appeared and glared at Pegasus who looked shocked. "Little known fact about me Pegasus. I'm the only one who can call him here. Now Exodia. OBLITERATE!" Sean roared as Exodia blasted Pegasus and his monster destroying them.

"AHHHHH!" Pegasus yelled in shock as he fell to his knees.

"I don't believe it. Pegasus just lost by Exodia." Joey said as Sean walked to him.

"Not bad. But I'll be honest I hate those toons." Sean said making him chuckle.

"I suppose some of Kaiba Boy's views have rubbed off on you." Pegasus said.

"In some ways. I just think they're annoying that you can't destroy them without having toons yourself. And you have the only card." Sean said.

"But of course. As the Creator there are perks to the position. And as the Creator I am a man of my word. I will help speed up the rebuilding process of the new Paradise City. And of course the new cards will be free to those here. Provided I still get my end of the Bargain." Pegasus said looking at Mana.

"That last part will take some time since your wife died due to natural and yet unnatural circumstances." Mana said.

"Fair enough. Now why don't I take a close look inside this cave to see what I'm in for." Pegasus said walking inside with his security.

"That was a risky move." Seto said.

"Your the one who said victory requires risks at times like that. Besides the results were acceptable. Now we have more workers to help speed things along." Sean said.

"True. Still I'm having Roland and my security keep an eye on him. Since I still don't trust him for what he tried to pull." Seto said.

"Fair enough." Sean said as Korra kissed his cheek.

"How cool is this? You actually defeated the Creator." Korra said making him smirk.
