Chapter 31 Tag Team Duel
Its been a couple months since the MUTO incident with Godzilla and Titan Sean coming to stop them and in the process defeated Zorc before he could even fully stay in this world.
Now Paradise City was nearing the end of the construction phase before it could focus fully on the gaming developments to bring people back by the millions.
Right now Sean and the others were with Seto.
"So what you're gonna start making some new dueling games?" Korra asked.
"Actually I was thinking of making one Yugi and Wheeler played during Duelist kingdom into a different version of Duel monsters." Seto said.
"Huh? One we played?" Joey asked.
"Do you recall your tag team duel?" Seto asked.
"Oh yeah. Me and Yugi played against those wacko brothers and got ten star chips each." Joey said.
"I'm thinking of making that thing a different version of Duel monsters." Seto said.
"Like a game board version." Asami said.
"Exactly. Same rules as that game but with some new ones added in." Seto said.
"Thats actually not a bad idea. A unique game play. We just need to find some test dummies." Sean said.
"Wheeler will suffice." Seto said.
"HEY!" Joey yelled.
"I have a better idea." Sean said.
Later
Seto was looking at the new gaming set up before Sean and Turok walked in.
"You find them?" Seto asked.
"This better be worth my time!"
Everyone turned seeing Weevil and Raptor who looked Smug.
"What? What are they doing here?" Joey asked.
"We needed test dummies and they suffice." Sean said.
"Who are you calling Test Dummies you freak!" Raptor said making him look at him with cold eyes making him gulp.
"Heres the deal. This is a new gaming set up like a game board. You each have a partner. Sean will have Turok and Weevil will have Raptor. The rules are simple. Their the old rules before Battle City which means there is no sacrifice rule. Life points are at 4000 and the monsters move a space based on the power level." Seto said.
"HEH! If it means bringing Kruger down and taking his Title which I deserve it will be worth my time." Weevil said.
"I beat you in one turn. You're just nothing but test dummies for this new game. Thats all you're good for." Sean said making him snarl.
"Lets get this test over with." Weevil said.
Sean and Turok were at the back while Rex and Weevil were in the front.
"I'll start things off." Sean said drawing his cards and smirked. "I summon my Sparkman in Attack mode." Sean said as his Hero appeared. "Next I move him in four spaces." Sean said as he forward.

"Enough with the laughing already you cockroach sucker." Turok said making him widen his eyes before growling.
"At least I'm not some orphan." Weevil mocked making him raise an eyebrow.
"You do realize we're brothers right?" Turok asked making him blink.
"How stupid are ya? Did your mom drop you as a baby or throw you in the bushes with the spiders?" Sean asked making him roar in rage.
"Man I forgot how annoying this guy could be." Tristan said.
"My move. I play metal armored Bug in Attack mode!" Weevil yelled as he summoned a powerful Metal Insect. "And I move him forward 8 spaces." Weevil said as he was very close to Sean's Sparkman. "HEHEHEHE! Once my next turn begins I'll crush your Sparkman like he was nothing!" Weevil yelled.

"Whatever you say. My move." Turok said drawing his card and smirked. "I play my Vorse Raider in Attack mode." Turok said as his monster appeared.

"And I'll move him four spaces and play one card face down." Turok said as he moved four spaces.
"My move." Rex said drawing his cards and grinned. "I play Dark Driceratops in attack mode." Rex said as his Dinosaur appeared. "And I'll move him in front of Vorse Raider." Rex said as it was right in front of him and separated by a few spaces.

"My move." Sean said drawing his card and smirked. "I play Spark blaster." Sean said as his monster had a blaster appear.
"So what? His attack points didn't go up." Weevil said.
"No but what it does do is this." Sean said as Sparkman blasted the Metal bug before it switched to defense mode.
"HEY! Why did he switch to Defense mode!" Weevil wailed.
"My Blaster switches the monster it blasts to defense mode. And now I can do this. I play Play Polymerization to fuse my Avian with Burstinatrix and summoned Flame Wingman." Sean said as his monster appeared.

"And whenever he destroys a monster you lose life points equal to the destroyed monster's attack points." Sean said making him shriek as Flame Wingman blasted his bug making him lose 2800 life points.
"NO!" Weevil screeched.

Weevil drew his next card and gulped seeing he had nothing that could take down his monsters.
"I end my turn." Weevil said.
"Hmph! My Move. I reveal my face down card. Axe Of Despair. This increases my monster's attack points by 1000. Now destroy his Dino." Turok said as his Monster slashed his Dino making Rex yell as his monster was nothing but pieces and lost 500 points. "And I play one card face down.
Drawing his next Card he smirked.
"I play Ultimate Tyranno." Rex said as his new Dino appeared and roared.

"Now I move my monster to attack your Vorse raider!" Rex yelled as his Tyrano went for the attack.
Only for Vorse Raider to slash him in half.
"HEY! He was a hundred points stronger!" Rex yelled.
"You forget my face down card?" Turok asked as it was revealed to be Sword of Deep Seated.
"Sword of Deep Seated?" Serenity asked.
"It increases his monsters attack by 500. So it was 400 points stronger." Seto said.
"Way to go Turok!" Serenity Cheered making Jinora glare.
"AHHH!" Rex yelled seeing he lost more life points now down to 3100 life points.
"This is the best you lot can do? How insulting." Sean mocked making them growl.
"We've only been at this a short time. And yet two of us are better than you sorry lot." Turok said.
"Hey we don't have some Ancients cards like you both do." Rex said.
"Yeah! Which means you're cheating! I request they be disqualified and allow us to win by default!" Weevil yelled.
"Not happening." Seto said making them growl.
"My move." Sean said drawing his card and grins.
"Whats he grinning about now?" Joey asked.
'Sanga of Thunder is a high level Ancient that can merge with two other high level Ancients to make a God Level Ancient known as the Gate Guardian. Lets see how they like facing a god.' Sean said.
"MAKE YOUR MOVE!" Rex yelled.
"In a rush to lose. All right I place this one face down." Sean said placing a card face down before a box appeared with the Thunder symbol on it.
"Oh boy." Turok said amused.
"Oh this brings back memories." Tea said.
"Yeah except it's not being used by some wackos." Joey said.
"What is that?" Mokuba asked.
"A high level Ancient and Duel monster. And there are two others that are compatible with it." Seto said.
"You mean like those XYZ machines." Mokuba said.
"Mostly." Seto said.
"My move and I play this Ritual card. Javelin Beetle pack. By sacrificing three of my monsters in hand I have enough to summon my Javelin Beetle!" Weevil yelled as his new insect appeared with some staff in hand.

"And next I move him in front of your two monsters." Weevil said as he moved forward.
"Whatever." Turok said before drawing his next card and smirked seeing he had Suijin in hand. "I place this one face down as well." Turok said as the next box appeared.
"Wait that other one isn't one of the three categories he summons." Mai said.
"He's starting to add some extras to his deck." Yugi said.
"My move. And I play super Conductor Tyranno!" Rex yelled as his next Dino appeared and roared loudly.

"Next I'll play a little card called De Spell to make your Vorse raider lose the Axe of Despair." Rez said as Vorse Raider went down to 2400. "BLAST HIM!" Rex yelled as his Dino blasted Turok's monster making him growl annoyed that he lost 900 attack points. "HA! NOT SO TOUGH NOW ARE YOU FREAK!" Rex yelled.
"We're evenly matched dumb fuck. No need to act all happy." Turok said making him growl.
"Hmm." Sean said drawing his card and smirked. "I play painful Choice." Sean said.
"Painful Choice?" Weevil asked.
"Wow and you say your some dueling master?" Sean mocked making him growl. "This allows me to pick five cards from my deck and you can pick which one I keep." Sean said.
"HA! How pathetic are you? Fine show me your cards." Weevil said as they appeared and he yelled in shock seeing what they were.
Uria, Raviel, Slifer, Ra and Kazejin
"Huh? Whats he up to now?" Joey asked.
"He's making him pick the one thats the least deadly on its own." Seto said.
"Um the weakest one." Weevil said shaking making Sean chuckle.
"Not a smart move." Sean said.
"Huh?" Weevil asked as Sean placed it on the field before the last box appeared before they started shaking.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!" Rex yelled before lights shot out of them.
"Allow me to introduce the legendary God Ancient known as Gate Guardian." Sean said as the Gate Guardian appeared.

"AHHHHH!" Both yelled in shock.
"Now my Guardian move to Weevil's little bug." Sean said as the God stomped towards him making Weevil look real nervous before Gate Guardian smashed his Javelin to nothing making him scream before he lost all his life points.
"I lost...Again?" Weevil asked in shock.
Thats when the game shut down.
"HEY! I still got life points!" Rex yelled.
"Oh did we forget to mention if your partner loses so do you?" Seto asked amused making him look in shock.
"In your fucking faces you pricks." Turok said laughing.
Weevil growled enraged before grabbing a knife from his jacket and threw it at him before Sean caught it which shocked the others.
Sean growled ticked off before crushing it with his bare hand like it was paper before dropping it making him look real nervous.
"That was a fucking mistake." Sean said as his third eye glowed before their decks caught on fire.
"OUR CARDS!" Both yelled in shock as they tried to save them but they were already ash.
"Be Lucky we don't decide to black list you from the City from dueling in the future." Sean said approaching them making them cower. "Your both nothing but pathetic worthless wastes of flesh. Not even worth the time of day. You both deserve the humiliation you've both suffered lately. You're nothing. Less than nothing." Sean said making them feel even more worthless.
"Ok Sean thats enough." Tea said.
"Hmph." Sean said as they left.
"So it would seem this new game has potential. But being a flat board is kinda boring. I recommend expanding it to make it longer and add walls like a maze without having to use the Labyrinth wall." Sean said.
"Right. Paradise City should be finished soon. And we put your Double's test into effect to prove one man can't have that much power. At least when leading a City." Seto said.
"Hmm." Sean said.
Later
"That was kinda harsh you know." Tea said as they walked around.
"Ah. Punks like them get under my skin. Besides you can't say they didn't deserve it for that stunt." Sean said.
"I guess." Tea said seeing the nearly finished buildings. "So how long until everything is finally ready?" Tea asked
"A month or two. After everything is built they need time to bring in supplies like the card packs and what not. Not to mention inspections to make sure everything is in working order." Sean said before they went home.
Sean sighed as he was in his shorts.
"Ready for bed?" Tea asked making him look and whistled seeing her in the nude making her giggle. "I'd go further but my mother said not until theres a ring on me." Tea said.
"Huh?" Sean asked.
"You know a wedding ring." Tea said.
"Oh. Uh Tea, I grew up in the Water Tribe with all their traditions and customs. We don't do rings." Sean said making her blink.
"Really? What do you do?" Tea asked as they sat down.
"We hand carve a betrothal necklace to put around them. Aang did the same thing for Katara when they got married and Tonraq did the same for Senna. I plan to do the same when I feel up to it." Sean said making her smile.
"I actually like that better than a ring." Tea said before they got into bed as he held her close.
