Chapter 36 Civil War
Korra growled seeing Unalaq's forces moving into the South like they owned the place and treating everyone like Garbage.
"What part of we don't want you here did you not get?" Korra asked.
"Now that you've opened the southern portal, we need to protect if from people who would do the spirits harm." Unalaq said.
"Oh I guess that makes it ok for your troops to push everyone around just like you would." Korra said.
"I assure you I will make sure they don't do that." Unalaq said.
"You've given Assurances before and broke them. What do you want now?" Sean asked.
"There is another portal to the North. Once you open it, spirits wan man will be able to move freely between the north and the South in a matter of seconds." Unalaq said.
"But the Solstice is over. How am I going to open it?" Korra asked.
"The Spiritual energy is much stronger in the north. And now that you've opened the Southern portal, your energy is stronger as well." Unalaq said before she glared at him.
"Why should I open it? All that means is you'll be able to fully control both tribes to do as you please like the Tyrant you are." Korra said.
"Korra, the South brought this on themselves. The Dark Spirits..." Unalaq tried to say.
"Funny how they only showed up when you arrived and they only attacked US. No one else just the two of us. Coincidence? I think not." Sean said making him frown.
"I told you I am not responsible for this. Open the portal..." Unalaq tried to say.
"No. I'm done being used by you. Forget it." Korra said as they left making him frown.
Arriving outside they saw some northern troops harassing an old woman before Mako Tsunami got in the way.
"Have none of you any respect!" Mako asked as they tried to attack but he blocked them before knocking them out.
"He's good." Sean said impressed.
"We're in his element so yeah." Yugi said as they walked to them.
"I knew this was going to be one giant mistake." Korra said.
"Unalaq is up to something. That portal was clearly closed for a reason." Sean said.
"Why not talk to your Titan counterpart? Maybe he knows what Unalaq is up to." Marik said.
"I left that device at home in Paradise City. When we get back if we can't figure it out we'll ask him." Sean said.
"Man look at all this." Joey said seeing the North acting no different than Thugs.
"Unalaq is up to something. We need to find out what." Seto said.
"Oh believe me we will." Sean said.
Meanwhile
Tenzin and his family were outside enjoying the peace and quiet while Turok rubbed Silver Fang's stomach making him pant in happiness.
"Ahh, I haven't felt this at peace since..." Tenzin tried to say.
"Wahoo!" Bumi yelled jumping out in a robe with his underwear on making Turok roll his eyes.
"And it's over." Tenzin said.
"Good morning universe!" Bumi yelled with his robe opened making Kya cover her eyes.
"Bumi, Please. Cover yourself!" Kya yelled mortified.
"Well, Lookee here. Vacation Tenzin has finally decided to join us." Bumi said.
"Yes, he has. And it's I've really enjoyed having you two around. Reminds me of all those great vacations as kids with dad." Tenzin said making them frown
"Uh, I think your memory is a little foggy. Bumi and I weren't on those great vacations. It was always just you and dad." Kya said.
"No, that can't be right. What about the time he took us to Kyoshi island to ride the elephant-Koi?" Tenzin asked.
"We weren't there either." Kya said.
"Hmm. Oh, Remember Ember Island? Those amazing sand palaces we built on the beach?" Tenzin asked.
"You mean you built. We never saw the place." Bumi said.
"I could've sworn." Tenzin said.
"From the sounds of things it appears your old man focused more on you because you were an airbender. I think I see why Mom wasn't very fond of him. She hates people like that." Turok said remembering how Mana seemed to avoid the Subject of Aang. Now he knew why.
Thats when Ikki and Meelo on Air scooters arrived.
"Hey there. Having fun?" Turok asked.
"Yup." Ikki said.
"Hang on...Wheres Jinora and Serenity?" Pema asked.
"Come to think of it I don't see them either." Turok said.
"Um..." Ikki tried to say.
"They got into a fight and Serenity ran off." Meelo said making Ikki glare at him.
"What were they fighting about?" Kya asked.
"We don't know we only just saw them before Serenity ran off before Jinora ran after her. Probably felt bad about something she did or said." Ikki said.
"Why would they even fight anyway?" Bumi asked making Turok sigh.
'I hate when my brother is always right.' Turok said before standing up.
"Lets go." Turok said.
"Is there something you know?" Tenzin asked.
"Yeah my brother can be a royal pain in the ass when he's right." Turok said.
Meanwhile
Everyone was at a building Sean made to discuss the problem with Unalaq.
"Quiet!" Sean yelled shutting everyone up. "Look I know the last couple days have been a royal pain since the North came here but we can't lose our cool." Sean said.
"Personally I think we should." Varrick said getting some food.
"None of us were talking to you." Seto said annoyed.
"And you ain't exactly giving solutions you know." Joey said.
"You want a solution? Heres one! We need to remove Unalaq before he has a permanent grip on the South." Unalaq said.
"Absolutely not. That would just make things even worse." Yami said.
"Oh like I need to listen to some spirit trapped in a puzzle." Varrcik said.
"QUIET!" Sean roared shutting him up. "You would just send the two tribes into war to make money off of it!" Sean said.
"So? War is good for business." Varrick said before yelling as Sean blasted him into a wall out cold. (See this is why I hate him so much. He's willing to start a war not caring who dies just for money!)
"Fucking piece of shit." Sean said.
After that everyone left while Varrick left with a pout that no one listened to him.
"UGH! This is a fucking nightmare. It's almost like Amon's endgame all over again." Sean said.
"We knew this might happen if we agreed to help him." Yami said.
"Varrick is only going to make things worse. He wants to start a civil war for profit." Sean said.
"You can't seriously tell me you think he's that greedy." Asami said.
"His entire expression says it all." Seto said.
"Yeah. We need to keep a tight leash on him." Sean said.
Korra and Tea walked around seeing how the men were treating her people making her frown.
"I never should have opened that portal." Korra said.
"Hey you did what you thought was best for your people at the time. No one could have seen this coming." Tea said.
"Oh I did. I knew he was going to pull something. He's always doing stuff like this at every turn. First he tried to force Sean to leave to the North then he tried again when he came back from the Ancients world. He's just so evil." Korra said as Tea held her.
"Don't worry. We'll fix this soon enough." Tea said making her smile before they left.
Later
A group of Northern Water tribe soldiers walked through the town as everyone else glared at them making them glare back.
Suddenly however Snowballs hit them.
"Who threw those?" The Leader asked before looking up seeing a group of children laughing before he waterbent them down making them scream.
"You little brats think you're tough, Huh?" One asked.
"Pick on a waterbender your own size." One of the Southerners said with others backing him up before they readied themselves.
Thats when Korra arrived on Naga.
"Stop!" Korra said.
"Tell these thugs to go back to the North. They're not welcome here anymore!"
"These southerners need to stay in line."
"Your the ones out of line. Your treating your own people like garbage just like Unalaq. It's like you want a war just for the hell of it." Korra said.
"And what if we do? Maybe it'll teach these peasants their place. Perhaps we should pay a visit to your home." One said before she glared.
"Care to fucking repeat that?" Sean asked with Vorse Raider's blade with him making them glare.
"Chief Unalaq had high hopes for you and you tore them down. Maybe we should bring you to him and make you do as he says." Another said before Several Ancients appeared and glared at them making them step back.
"Leave." Celtic Guardian Said making them do so.
"This is a nightmare." Korra said as she got down from Naga.
"Ah don't blame yourself. We knew something might happen. We just gotta figure out what he's up to." Sean said holding her close.
"I know. But I hate seeing my home and my people being treated so poorly." Korra said.
"Don't worry we'll fix this soon enough. And soon we'll learn what he's up to. With any luck he'll end up in prison for the rest of his life or the Shadow realm." Sean said making her smile lightly.
"Theres always hope." Korra said as Sean kissed her.
"I promise everything is gonna be fine when this is over." Sean said as they got on Naga about to Run off when Eska and Desna got in the way.
"What do you want now?" Korra asked annoyed.
"Our father wishes to speak with the peasant." Desna said making him glare.
"One of these days I am going to end up sending you to the Shadow realm." Sean said as they ran off.
Arriving at the palace Sean saw Unalaq on his throne.
"What do you want now? I'm in no mood to talk to you since your little thugs are harassing everyone on sight." Sean said.
"I have something for you to do. If you do this I'll make absolutely certain my men leave the Southerners alone." Unalaq said making him frown.
"And what the hell is that?" Sean asked.
"This Mako Tsunami is from the other universe correct?" Unalaq asked confusing him.
"Yes...He's a fisherman like his father who died in a storm." Sean said. (In the Japanese sub version)
"I want you to kill him." Unalaq said shocking him.
"Excuse me?" Sean asked in shock.
"He doesn't belong here and he's been making things difficult on my men to keep order. So I want you to eliminate him. Do so and I will make sure my men are kept in line." Unalaq said.
"Fuck you!" Sean yelled shocking him. "You keep saying your a spiritually enlightened person and then you say shit like that! Your nothing but a murdering bastard! Hell I really think you sent those barbarians on your own people if you say shit like that!" Sean yelled.
"That is not true. I had nothing to do with that. All I want you to do is get rid of him so my men can do their jobs. Keeping order and bringing them back on the right path." Unalaq said.
"They should have the choice of what path they want and not have it forced on them like you always do. I'm outta here!" Sean said leaving making him frown.
Korra waited outside before Sean kicked the doors down.
"What happened?" Korra asked.
"Son of a bitch wants me to Kill Mako Tsunami just because he's not from here and because he's keeping his men from harassing the tribe." Sean said shocking her. "Lets just go." Sean said as they got on Naga and ran off.
Meanwhile
"Jinora? Serenity where are you?" Tenzin called out.
"Over here, Dad!" Bumi called out in a child like voice before appearing from the bushes laughing. "Just kidding. It's me." Bumi said making him sigh as Kya rushed to them.
"There's no sign of them anywhere." Kya said.
"Why would Jinora pick a fight with Serenity?" Tenzin asked.
"Uh." Turok tried to say.
"Is there something you wanna add?" Kya asked making him sigh.
"They fought because of me. Both of them have feelings for me and Jinora probably got jealous and did what she did." Turok said looking away.
"What kind of feelings?" Tenzin asked suspicious.
"What do you fucking think mister who's dad played favorites." Turok said making him clear his throat.
"Ah, It's probably my fault anyway." Tenzin said.
"Probably." Kya said.
"Excuse me?" Tenzin asked.
"I'm guessing you were so busy with your DUTY to republic City before Anubis that you forgot your duty to your kids." Kya said.
"Duty." Bumi said laughing.
"What are you. Five years old?" Kya asked.
"Kya, your right. I didn't spend enough time with them. I wish I could be as good a father as dad was to us." Tenzin said.
"Tenzin, your problem is you're exactly like dad. He was so focused on saving the world and doing his Duty...Don't even think about it Bumi...That he never had time for us." Kya said.
"Dad was under a lot of pressure." Tenzin said.
"He always had time for you, though, his precious little airbender." Bumi said pulling his cheek.
"Dad loved us all equally. Besides, it all happened a long time ago. Why are we even talking about this?" Tenzin asked.
"Because you seem to have some grandiose delusion that we had a perfect happy-go-lucky childhood. Guess what. We didn't." Kya said.
"I'm surprised Katara never said anything." Turok said as Silver Fang barked as he sniffed the ground.
"We need to keep moving if we want to find Them before Dark." Tenzin said walking off.
"See that? Classic Airbender technique. Cutting and running when things get tough!" Kya said making Tenzin sigh.
Meanwhile
Senna entered her home finding Korra on the couch holding her legs while Sean handed her some tea.
"Korra?" Senna asked sitting next to her.
"Hey mom." Korra said as she hugged her.
"Whats going on?" Senna asked.
"I just...I hate whats been happening. I knew working with Unalaq was a bad idea and now this is happening. And even worse Unalaq told me about Dad's past." Korra said.
"So you finally know." Senna said surprising her.
"You knew?" Korra asked.
"Course I did. He told me before we were even married. People make mistakes. It's in our nature. It's not something we can help." Senna said making her sigh.
"I know. I just feel like it's going to get a lot worse soon." Korra said.
"Korra the problems between the North and the South started long before you were even born. They happened shortly after Unalaq took charge when his father died. And things are only going to get worse." Senna said.
"What are you talking about?" Korra asked.
"Varrick has been plotting a rebellion against Unalaq." Senna said shocking her.
"Please tell me Dad isn't a part of it?" Korra begged.
"I don't know but I don't want you getting involved." Senna said.
"If I don't things are only going to get worse." Korra said running off and got on Naga.
"Aren't you going?" Senna asked Sean.
"Hell no. He can burn for all I care." Sean said heading back inside as did she.
Arriving at the palace Korra was quick to note the guards were knocked out.
"Oh No." Korra said before rushing up and saw Unalaq being carried away by some rebels while he was knocked out. "Let him go." Korra said.
"Turn around Avatar. Just pretend you didn't see anything." One of them said.
"Look. I don't like him anymore than you do because of all the crap he's pulled but if you don't stop this now things will only get worse." Korra said.
"Things are already bad. Now walk away." One said making her sigh.
"Look I'm already pissed off as it is but I really can't afford to make things even worse." Korra said before using her magic to blast them into a wall knocking them out.
Thats when Unalaq came to and saw what happened.
The rebels were arrested and cuffed.
"Find Varrick. I want him to freeze in a cell." Unalaq said to his men before he faced his niece. "You have my thanks for..."
"Save it. I didn't save you because I care. I did it so things wouldn't get worse. If they wouldn't I would have let them do what they wanted with you. Your nothing but a monster." Korra said.
"Korra I am only doing what I know is best for the Tribe." Unalaq said.
"Best for them...Or what you want them to do because you want to force your ideals on others?" Korra asked as she left making him frown.
Meanwhile
Bumi grumbled as Kya used her waterbending to heal him.
"I told you those rocks were slippery. You're lucky you didn't kill yourself." Kya said annoyed.
"You done with the lecture, Mom?" Bumi asked annoyed.
"Oh, Grow up. You haven't changed one bit since we were kids. You're still trying to prove you can do everything a bender can. Well, you can't. Deal with it." Kya said.
"And your not our mother. You don't get to tell me what I can and can't do. So deal with that. UGH!" Bumi said as she dropped the water she used on his head.
"Good luck healing yourself with your non bending powers." Kya said as he shook off all the water.
"Hey, back me up here, Tenzin." Bumi said.
"Kya's right. You're the oldest of us, but you always acted like the youngest. I had to become the responsible one." Tenzin said.
"You think you're the responsible one? Where were you after Dad died and Mom was all alone? Because I was the only one who packed up and moved my whole life to be with her." Kya said ticked off by that remark.
"Sure, after years of flitting around the world, trying to find yourself. It was time for you to settle down somewhere. You two have no idea how it feels to have the future of an entire culture on your shoulders." Tenzin said.
"Oh, Boo-Hoo. Must've been real hard for you, flying around the world with dad. Riding Elephant-Koi all day." Bumi said.
"Oh so thats what this is about." Tenzin said.
"Thats's what it's always been about. You think you're some savior who has to carry on Dad's legacy." Kya said.
"Who else is going to do it?" Tenzin asked.
"How bout all of us?" Kya said.
"Yeah, we're Aang's kids too." Bumi said.
"We never should have come along on this vacation." Kya said.
"I couldn't agree more." Bumi said.
"Well, I didn't want you to come in the first place." Tenzin said before several Beast type Ancients surrounded them shocking them.
"Ok enough. You fuckers need to sort this shit out." Turok said leaving.
"Turok, this is no time for games. I need to find my daughter." Tenzin said.
"I can do that. You need to sort this shit out that YOU caused." Turok said shocking him.
"ME!" Tenzin yelled.
"Your the reason your father paid less attention to them and more on you and you don't even care. My mother treats me and my brother equally. Thats what a REAL family does. Unlike you." Turok said shocking him as he held his head down while Turok and Silver Fang ran off.
Meanwhile
Korra was heading home when her father ran to her.
"You all right? I heard what happened." Tonraq said.
"I'm fine I just..." Korra tried to say before gasping seeing the door to her home busted down before they rushed in and found Senna on the ground out cold.
"Senna." Tonraq said as she woke up with a groan before looking around.
"Wheres Sean?" Korra asked as the others rushed in.
"The hell happened?" Joey asked.
"I don't know. There was green gas and then I passed out." Senna said before Unalaq walked in.
"What happened here?" Unalaq asked before Joey grabbed him and slammed him into the wall shocking him.
"What did you do now!" Joey yelled.
"I swear I don't know what your talking about." Unalaq said.
"I think he's telling the truth. Something feels off." Duke said.
"Who else has access to knock out gas?" Mokuba asked making Seto frown.
"I'll give you one guess on someone more annoying." Seto said.
Meanwhile
Sean groaned as he slowly woke up and found his arms stretched out in chains making him growl as he tried to free himself but his powers weren't working.
"The hell?" Sean asked.
"Awake now sleeping beauty?" Varrick asked in front of him with a grin.
"Varrick? What did you do? Why can't I use my powers?" Sean asked annoyed trying to get free before Varrick held up a familiar tag.
"All the money in the world and it takes millions to buy an old relic like this." Varrick said making him sigh.
"What is this about?" Sean asked.
"Well, your Avatar Wife messed up my plans to remove Unalaq so now I gotta go to plan B. Using you." Varrick said confusing him.
"Huh? Me? Look I hate Unalaq more than anyone but I know removing him without showing people the monster he is will only make things worse. Your wanting that to make money." Sean said.
"Well, duh. War is good for business. And your gonna help me start a war to make that money." Varrick said making him scoff.
"What are ya gonna do? Bribe me? I can get twice you can offer from Seto from being the poster boy of his company...Though I really hate that being honest." Sean said.
"Oh I'm not gonna bribe you. You are going to do what I want willingly." Varrick said.
"And just how am I going to do that?" Sean asked.
Thats when Varrick opened some chest before pulling something out he was not expecting.
"What the?" Sean said before the others burst in.
"Varrick!" Unalaq yelled before gasping seeing what was in his hand.
"The Millennium scale!" Marik yelled seeing one of the seven items in this universe.
"Thats right! And with it I will get what I want." Varrick said freeing Sean who rubbed his wrests before he held it to his face. "KILL UNALAQ!" Varrick yelled making him raise an eyebrow before crossing his arms which confused him. "I SAID KILL HIM!" Varrick yelled making everyone sweat drop.
"You have no idea how that item works do you?" Ishizu asked disturbed by this.
"Sure I do! It controls minds!" Varrick yelled shaking it a lot. "WORK!" Varrick yelled making Sean face palm and groaned loudly.
"Varrick...Thats not what the Scale does." Sean said confusing him. "The Scale balances out good and evil inside a person. The Rod is the one that controls people." Sean said making him pale.
"Oh." Varrick said seeing the situation he was in. Unalaq's men approached him before. "Zhu Li do the thing!" Varrick yelled before she pulled a lever and a smoke bomb went off making the others cough.
"OH!" Sean said annoyed before seeing he was gone. "Find him!" Sean yelled making the men rush off before he glared at Asami.
"What are you glaring at me for?" Asami asked.
"He's a good a business parter. He's a fucking genius. You are a fucking moron to think working with him is a good idea." Sean said.
"I'm going to have to agree. He's a nut case." Seto said making her pout.
Mokuba picked up the scale before handing it to Korra.
"How'd he even get his hands on this anyway?" Korra asked.
"The items have existed for a million years in this universe. In that time they've traveled around the world. Some have added them to antique collections not knowing their true purpose. It is no surprise somehow Varrick or someone like him ended up with one of the seven." Unalaq said.
"He wouldn't have done this if you hadn't done the shit you did." Sean said.
"I am trying to bring the South back to it's proper path." Unalaq said.
"I've heard the bullshit speech before. Your a tyrant no different than Ozai and Sozin. Deny it all you like but you know its true." Sean said as they left.
"You ok?" Seto asked.
"I'm pissed. I got taken out by a fucking nut case from my universe like an amateur. Thats never happened before." Sean said.
"If Turok was here he'd compare it to how Lin nearly killed ya." Reznov said amused.
"Don't fucking start." Sean said annoyed.
Later
Sean groaned as he held his head trying to get the effects of the seal out of his system.
"Next time I see Varrick I am going to kill him with my bare hands." Sean said.
"Wow your really pissed aren't you?" Korra asked.
"What do you think? I got knocked out in my own home and dragged off by a loony who tried to control me with the wrong item not knowing how they work." Sean said.
"He's got a point." Tea said.
"And Unalaq is the reason he even did that nonsense to begin with." Sean said.
"On a bright side we did find one of the Seven." Korra said holding it up.
"Well, theres that." Sean said.
Thats when Unalaq walked in.
"What are you doing here? Get out!" Sean said annoyed.
"Tonraq, Senna. You are under Arrest and will stand trial." Unalaq said.
"Trial? For what?" Tonraq asked.
"For conspiring to assassinate me!" Unalaq said before Sean slugged him much to his shock.
"Get out! I have it up to here with your bullshit! Your the reason the Tribes are on the verge of a Civil War. Because of your need for control." Sean said.
"They are coming with me. Now out of my way." Unalaq said before Sean pulled out Flame Swordsman sword out.
"No." Sean said as it caught on fire.
"Enough. Lets not make this any worse than it is." Tonraq said as he and Senna stood up making him glare at Unalaq.
Both Tonraq and Senna were escorted into a truck before they were taken away.
"You seriously can't help it can you? Making everyone miserable for your own gains." Korra said.
"They had meetings with the Rebels and didn't report it in." Unalaq said.
"We were trying to keep everyone calm. Varrick is the one who caused that nonsense." Tea said.
"And I will deal with him when I find him." Unalaq said walking away.
Sean was about to walk away before Mana appeared.
"We need to talk." Mana said taking him away.
Meanwhile
Asami and the others were looking for Varrick in his office.
"Where is that nutcase?" Joey asked looking around.
"He could be anywhere." Tristan said.
"Maybe he actually died from his craziness." Duke joked making some laugh.
"I wouldn't be surprised. Honestly why did you think doing business with him was a good idea?" Seto asked Asami.
"He owns the entire shipping industry in this universe. How do you not do business with someone like that?" Asami said.
"By doing a background check first." Seto said.
"He's got a point. He was completely insane and greedy." Joey said..
"Would you all relax? This place is great. And the best part about it? Eska doesn't know I'm here." Bolin said making the guys roll their eyes since they started dating and she treated him poorly.
"You have horrible taste." Joey said.
"He did have a thing for Korra before we met." Mako said.
"Say what?" Tristan asked.
"Childish crush." Reznov said.
Thats when Eska and her brother walked in making Bolin gasp.
"I'm not on the hunt for you. Currently." Eska said. (God I just fucking hate her)
"Our father wishes us to search for Varrick for Trial so he may face punishment like our Aunt and Uncle." Desna said.
"Wait what?" Yugi asked.
"What?" Asami asked.
"Korra's parents were arrested?" Joey asked.
"Yes. Your powers of deduction are impressive. Then again you are friends with a peasant." Desna said mockingly.
"At least he's actually liked unlike you. Now get out." Reznov said.
"I don't have to listen to someone below me." Desna said before a fiend Type Ancient appeared and roared shocking them.
"OUT!" Reznov yelled.
"Very well. Boyfriend! Bow to me when I exit!" Eska ordered making him do that. "You are so cute when you grovel." Eska said as they left before Tristan and Joey pulled him up hard.
"OW!" Bolin yelled in pain.
"What the hell is the matter with you? Act like a man. Your letting her push you around!" Tristan said.
"Grow a spine you wimp!" Joey said.
"Bolin you need to stand up for yourself. You can't let her treat you like that." Yugi said.
"I tried to break up with her, but Mako gave me terrible advice. Thank you, Mako." Bolin said.
"Oh like it's my fault you messed up." Mako said.
"You need to be honest with her. Tell her how you really feel." Asami said.
"Yeah, tell her she's worthless as a human being and will die alone." Seto said making her glare. "I'm not taking that back. Everyone agrees with me here." Seto said.
"Yup." Reznov said.
"Yeah she's kinda creepy to me." Mokuba said.
"Honesty is for fools, kid!" Varrick said though muffled
"Varrick? Where are ya?" Reznov asked.
"Somewhere Unalaq will never find me." Varrick said before appearing out of the platypus bear. "Inside Ping-Ping!" Varrick said before Joey grabbed him. "HEY!" Varrick yelled as he was pulled out.
"You nut case! You got some nerve you know that!" Joey said.
"What? I just wanted Unalaq removed!" Varrick said.
"Yeah to start a war." Tristan said.
"War is good for business!" Varrick said.
"Ok Now I'm starting to agree with everyone about him." Asami said. "You don't even care who dies do you?" Asami asked.
"Why should I? Money is money." Varrick said before groaning as Reznov punched him in the stomach before grabbing him.
"Lets go." Reznov said as they dragged him to Unalaq.
"NOO! NOT THIS! ZHU LI!" Varrick yelled as Julia found her in his hiding place and dragged her as well.
Later
Everyone was at the courts where Korra's parents along with the rebels were at.
"Wheres Sean?" Tea asked.
"I don't know. He just vanished." Korra said wondering where they're husband was.
Soon Korra was presented.
"We're you..." Hotah tried to say before Sean busted the door down before he and Several Mid Level Ancients came in. "What is the meaning of this?" Hotah asked.
"You shut up." Sean said shocking him before Axe Raider and Vorse Raider grabbed Unalaq and restrained him which shocked him and the crowd.
"What are you doing!" Unalaq demanded.
"Arresting you. For the crimes you committed 20 years ago." Sean said shocking him.
"What are you talking about?" Tonraq as he and the others were released.
"Unalaq has been manipulating everything from the very start. I want to ask those from the North this. Do you all remember what happened 20 years ago when those Barbarians attacked?" Sean asked.
"Of course. We tracked them down to the sacred forest and Tonraq made us attack them which destroyed the place and put us in an even worse situation." One said making him hold his head down.
"How did they even know about the forest?" Sean asked making the troops widen their eyes not even asking that once. Unalaq however looked real nervous.
"What are you trying to say?" Tonraq asked.
"Why don't you ask him." Sean said looking at Unalaq who looked away.
"What is he talking about?" Tonraq demanded.
"The answer is they knew about the Forest because Unalaq told them. He hired them to attack the tribe knowing you would go after them." Sean said shocking them. "But thats not the worst thing he did. Your father was only going to demote you for your actions. But Unalaq made him do what he pleased...With one certain item." Sean said as Vorse Raider reached behind Unalaq and pulled something out.
The Millennium Rod which shocked people.
"He used this to make your father banish you. And then he used it to kill him to fully take control." Sean said shocking everyone.
"Is that true?" Tonraq asked Unalaq who looked away.
"Yes. I needed to take control because you would ignore spiritual matters. I needed to save the tribe!" Unalaq said making him glare.
"You are no brother of mine anymore." Tonraq said as the Ancients dragged him away before he stopped in front of Sean.
"You ruined everything. I had the highest of hopes for you...Now your just a disappointment." Unalaq said.
"At least I'm still human. I don't kill like you do. And that makes me better than you'll ever be." Sean said making him glare as he was taken away.
"Well, since thats settled." Varrick said about to walk out when he was grabbed.
"Not so fucking fast you prick." Sean said grabbing him before he proceeded to beat him as he cried out in pain.
"Oh. Can't say I didn't see that one coming." Korra said amused.
Later
"So thats why you vanished so suddenly. Mana told you the truth about what happened." Tea said.
"Yeah. Time Wizard used his magic to reveal the past about what happened 20 years ago and found out about those events. Unalaq wanted to take charge to do things his way. So he set Tonraq up for what happened and used the rod to make his father banish him and then when he was gone killed him with it." Sean said making Korra hold her head down.
"I knew Unalaq was evil...But I never could have imagined he killed his own father like that." Korra said.
"We choose our own paths. He choose his and we choose ours." Sean said.
"Indeed. Still hopefully this will put some ease on things." Ishizu said.
"Well, Eska and Desna won't be able to take control because the people don't trust them. No one will since they are his kids." Sean said.
"Good." Korra said.
Meanwhile
Turok was looking for Jinora and Serenity before sighing.
"Man I cannot believe Jinora did this." Turok said before he heard voices.
Walking to a cave he saw both of them talking.
"Look...I'm sorry for what I said...I just got...Jealous." Jinora said.
"Jealous of what? What did I do?" Serenity asked.
"I know you have feelings for Turok...And so do I." Jinora said.
"Oh I see what this is about now. I guess I can understand why you snapped like that." Serenity said.
"And just what did she say?" Turok asked walking to them.
"What are you doing here?" Jinora asked.
"Looking for both of you. Ikki told me you made her run off. What the hell?" Turok asked making her look down. "I honestly hate it when my brother is right." Turok said confusing her.
"Right about what?" Jinora asked.
"That you two have feeling for me. Noticed it on the blimp." Turok said making her blush looking away making him sigh. "I cannot believe I am going to say this but I have a solution for this." Turok said.
"What?" Serenity asked.
Meanwhile
Sean and Korra watched as the North was leaving the South since they no longer took orders from Unalaq.
"You realize we're going to have to close the portal right?" Sean asked.
"First lets find out whats on the other side." Korra said before explosions went off making them look seeing the Northern forces being taken out by Diabound and it looked uglier than last time.
"What the hell is that thing doing here?" Korra asked before they heard familiar laughter making them look seeing Bakura.
"Happy to see me? I didn't even get an invite to the wedding." Bakura said making them glare.
"What are you up to now?" Sean asked.
"Oh you'll find out in time my young friend." Bakura said vanishing before they rushed off.
Arriving at the prison they looked into Unalaq's cell seeing it empty.
"Looking for me?" Unalaq asked making them face him. With him were Dark soldiers. "You ruined my plans to control the South and make them like me. Something I had hoped the Ancients would do for me. Sadly they are misguided like my brother." Unalaq said.
"Your the one misguided. You murdered your own people and killed your own father in cold blood." Korra said.
"It wasn't anything personal. I needed to insure I brought my people on the right path like myself. When the Ancients returned I had hoped they would make people like me. But sadly they are soft and let people be their misguided selves. When I finish what I have set into motion I will make sure they see things my way." Unalaq said.
"Your just as bad as Bakura." Sean said.
"In this case our interests align. And soon you will both see things my way." Unalaq said vanishing.
"FUCK!" Sean yelled.
Meanwhile
Turok with Jinora and Serenity on the back of a large beast type Ancient before they approached Pema and her kids.
"Thanks Turok." Pema said before they got off. "Jinora." Pema said crossing her arms making her sigh.
"I know we already made up." Jinora said.
"Where are Tenzin and his siblings anyway?" Pema asked.
"Right here." Tenzin said as they walked to them.
"So have we learned our lesson?" Turok asked amused.
"Perhaps my father wasn't the man I always believed him to be. But I do know he loved all of us equally. Just got caught up in his teachings that he did what he did." Tenzin said.
"Never said he was a bad father. Just one who made some wrong choices." Turok said.
Meanwhile
"Why would Bakura help Unalaq out? It doesn't make any sense." Duke said.
"If you ask me I'd say Because it has something to do with that portal. Their up to something." Mai said.
"We'll find out when we head back to Paradise City. Contact my doubleganger and see if he knows anything. At the very least we might gain some information on what he pulled in his universe." Sean said.
"Right." Korra said before looking at her parents. "Be careful. I don't know what he'll do now that the secret is out." Korra said holding them.
"We'll be just fine honey." Tonraq said before the group got on the ship with Varrick who looked busted up real bad.
Meanwhile
Time Wizard was using his magic to look into Unalaq's past.
"Find anything useful?" Mana asked before he freaked out.
"What is it?" Mahad asked before he showed them something making them gasp.
"Oh no. If he succeeds in setting him free...He'll be the least of our problems." Mana said worried for the future.
