King Vegeta sat on his throne, the conversation running through his mind at full speed. 'Goku and the me from their world are incredibly powerful, I have to make sure that while they are here no one disrespects them' King Vegeta though to himself.
The blue hair flashing through his mind, he felt in awe of the sight, the calm aura and presence was harmless but based on Gohan's description the ocean of power was something that could wipe out the entire saiyan race with a snap of his finger.
He snapped out of his reverie and stared at the night sky through the window high up close to the ceiling.
Out in the deeper reaches of space a group travelled at insane speeds through the cosmos. "Well now that Terminus has been visited what do you think?" Asked Excalibur.
Grail frowned. "This universe is just disgusting, ever since our abandonment we haven't had a chance to explore, but seeing it now, this place is just utter garbage, most universes have a very small minority of people who slave trade or are just shitty beings in general, I thought we were meant to suffer the horrible fate of being trapped by those humans, but this place, its almost like every single living organism fall prey to their darker desires, there are a few who try to live their lives honestly but in the end they are robbed and or killed" Grail spoke.
Tunio stared at Grail from behind. "Besides, I have a personal grudge against the Saiyan race right now, that Saiyan I fought on earth was particularly powerful, I have never been man handled like that before" Said Grail as he smirked.
"He showed traces of Ultra Instinct, the state of the gods" Said Grail as Norques spoke.
"That is the Saiyan God, he is extremely powerful" Said Norques as he thought back to the fight the saiyans had when they invaded.
"No matter, I hope he doesn't think that the heavenly state of Ultra Instinct belongs to the deities of his realm alone…" Said Grail with a grin as his eyes shone silver and a violent burst of energy erupted out into the universe. "How good it feels to no longer be a slave!"
Excalibur and Deth made no comment as a silver like aura briefly flashed around them and pulsed before evaporating.
On the watchtower…
Gohan was sitting in the cafeteria and eating while talking to Flash, Power Girl, Karen and Donna when Max walked up to the table.
"Hey Max!" Karen said with a smile, Max just waved flustered at the happy response.
"Hey Power Girl, I want to know if you will be available in an hour's time for training?" Asked Max.
She gave a thoughtful look before nodding. "I was planning on training so that works out" She agreed.
Max grinned. "Awesome!"
Flash gave her a grin. "So who is this Power Girl? You naughty girl!" She gained a tick mark on her forehead as her irritation just skyrocketed.
"What's wrong with you Flash!" She responded with irritation.
Max just blushed, Gohan glanced to Max smiled. "Hey, I'm Indominus," Max nodded.
"It's an honor to meet you sir!" Said Max as Gohan chuckled.
"I am not a sir, you can just call me Indominus," Said Gohan as Max nodded and smiled.
"I have a question" Max said. "When exactly did you join the league? Was it when Doomsday came or was it earlier?" Asked Max, he was a little intrigued at the question, after all he held Gohan in high esteem, the man was powerful.
"Oh look you have a fan boy" Said Donna as Gohan chuckled.
"I think his just interested, I wouldn't call him a fan boy" Said Gohan as Max nodded, he was slightly embarrassed.
"But I joined when Doomsday attacked" Gohan clarified, Max nodded.
"I haven't known you very long Indominus but I wouldn't expect you to be a leaguer, to be fair I haven't seen you fight yet" Donna said.
"Yeah, I wouldn't expect it either" Said Gohan as he looked to Barry. "Doomsday was not fun," Gohan said as Barry nodded.
"True, that's not a time I miss, man that was a close call." Asked Barry.
"It was around that time Superman was nearly killed?" Asked Donna, Gohan nodded.
"Yeah, I was the onl-" That's when the sensation hit him like a truck, he froze as his spoon collapsed from his hand.
The look of fear passed over Gohan's face as three energy signatures many more times greater than his flooded his senses.
"Indominus? Are you alright?" Asked Donna, they could now see cold sweat on his forehead.
"Indominus…" Karen asked slowly, a look of worry slowly made its way onto her face.
"So…powerful…" Gohan said slowly.
The others around the table became serious. "What is it man?" Flash asked, he could tell Gohan was in a state of shock.
Karen slowly held his hand. "Hey, whats wrong?" She questioned.
Max saw this and was momentarily shocked. 'Can't be, she must just be worried about him…' His mind thought, after all, Max had a massive crush on Power Girl.
Gohan finally snapped out of his trance. "There is something out there…in the universe and it's far more powerful than I am…" Gohan said as he looked down at the table in worry.
The others around the table were silent.
His mind wandered back to the fact that he was so much more weaker than his father and vegeta as well. "What do you mean?" Flash asked.
Gohan sighed. "I just felt a pulse of energy somewhere far out in the universe, it was divine power. Thankfully it isn't on it's way to earth, it was heading in the opposite direction…" Gohan finished.
"Okay, then it means that we don't have to worry about it right?" Flash said.
Gohan nodded. "I hope so…I will let Batman know later." Gohan stood up.
"I need to go and think…I will be back later." Gohan said, before anyone could say anything the young saiyan god vanished in a burst of speed.
A moment of silence ensued. Max stood there awkwardly. "I will see you later Power Girl?"
Karen didn't respond, she was still staring at the spot that Gohan had just stood in not moments ago.
"Uhm Power Girl?" Max asked.
She slowly looked to him and nodded. "Yeah…sure." She slowly shook her head and stood. "You know what? I would like to start now if you don't mind." Max was taken aback but he just nodded.
"Yeah sure, I don't mind." He nodded. She starting walking towards the training room.
When they left the remaining heroes continued eating, Donna was the one to break the silence. "So is it just me or does Max have a crush on Karen?" Flash looked to her.
"You know, I was thinking the exact same thing, but I thought I must have been imagining it." Flash said.
Donna shook her head. "Nope, I noticed it." Flash chuckled.
"Poor guy, he doesn't know that Karen and Gohan are together." Flash finished, Donna's phone vibrated.
She took it out and smiled at the screen before answering. "Hey Adam." She started and got up and walked away, waving good bye to Barry.
"See I told you it was good idea! Well done I'm so proud of you babe." Her voice getting softer and softer.
An hour later…
Gohan returned to earth a bit shaken by the power he felt. And at the same time he wasn't sure whether he was happy or not that his father had gotten so strong, after all, that meant that Beerus was still astronomically more powerful than he was and the thought didn't sit too well with him.
He made his way back to the watchtower, he was following Karen's energy signature. He found her in the training room with the hero Max.
"Hey, Power Girl." Gohan said, she was currently benching, although the weights had a purple tint to them, Max was busy sweating.
"Hey, will talk to you in a bit just busy hold on." She said, Gohan didn't mind, he stood and watched silently as he weighed the scenario, if he were to leave and train he would obviously become more powerful as a result but…when he looked to Karen, his heart tightened, he didn't want to leave just after he found the woman he had fallen in love with.
Almost as if she could feel his gaze she turned to Gohan who was staring at her.
Blushing she yelled at him. "Hey perv! Stop staring at my chest!" Gohan snapped out of his train of thought.
"What?" He asked a little confused.
"You heard me you perv!" Despite what she was saying she wasn't making a move to stop him.
"Power Girl, I can't hold it any more." Max said, he stopped using his power and sat on the ground, panting heavily.
Karen relaxed as she put the weights back on the bar. "You are getting stronger Max, I can feel the weights increase every time we train." She smiled softly at him, that smile quickly turned sour as she looked to her boyfriend.
"And you mister, you wanna explain your ogling eyeballs?" Karen said as she walked up to Gohan who just gave a weak laugh. Something was off. Karen knew it, his laugh wasn't the same. What happened earlier must have shaken him pretty badly.
Max on the other hand was oblivious, he didn't think for a second that Karen and Gohan were a couple, after all, Power Girl was extremely beautiful and strong willed, he doubted she would go out with anyone, and even if he had to admit that Indominus was incredibly powerful, he honestly didn't think that thee Power Girl would be interested in him, besides she was vibing with him almost everyday, and what he had heard and seen so far from the two felt like the two didn't really like one another.
"As much as I respect you Indominus, Power Girl should be respected as a Superhero, you shouldn't be staring at her with such a lustful gaze!" Max said righteously. Power Girl chuckled slightly but didn't ride the train.
"What's wrong?" She asked. Gohan hesitated.
"I might have to leave…" He said.
She shrugged. "Okay for how long?"
"Seven years…" He said, her heart tightened.
"Seven years…"
Almost as if he could feel how she felt about the situation he quickly spoke.
"Not now though, I still have so much that I have to do here." He said.
But she pulled back. "You want to leave? Just after you and I finally…"
"I did say not now…" Gohan countered. Max stood there in confusion.
Karen calmed down. But she was still visibly in distress at the sudden news.
"Then why bring it up now?" She asked.
"I didn't want to surprise you later on by just dropping it on you. I spoke to my father and…I am so much weaker than they are…it's ridiculous. Plus with that power that I sensed…" Gohan admitted.
"It doesn't matter…you don't need to be the strongest…isn't it a good thing that your father has gotten so strong?" Karen said, refusing to back down. Plus you said it yourself, the power wasn't even heading this way."
Gohan nodded, he didn't think of it like that, however. "They are leaving soon and what if that power I sensed is a really strong villain and I can't stop them." Gohan said.
"Go- Indominus, you aren't the only one who has to stop the bad guys…it sounds like you are making excuses, do you not want to be with me anymore?" She asked, but the last part came out quietly.
Gohan's face contorted slightly. He quickly grabbed her hand and used his super speed to leave the watchtower, they appeared over mars. Karen looked around in confusion.
"Why did you-" She didn't get to finish as Gohan brought his lips to hers. Surprised by this she looked at him before relaxing and kissing him back.
Gohan leaned back after the kiss was done and stared into her eyes. "Does that answer your question?" He asked.
She shook her head. "No, It didn't. I need more answers." She said as Gohan smiled lightly and leaned in and kissed her again.
His hands travelled down to her waist and pulled her closer and kissed her again.
"But don't worry…I am not going now…I need to be with you more…" He said.
Karen sighed. "You better not." She said.
"It's the exact opposite, it's not that I don't want to be with you, I don't want to lose you…" He confessed.
Her gaze softened at his confession.
"Dinner tonight?" He asked. She just nodded.
"Lets stay in." She said. He nodded.
"Let's go back to the same hotel and order in." He said. She nodded, a look of excitement in her eyes.
Gohan chuckled. "You know you may be tough but you have some little girl tendencies." He pointed out. Karen just smacked him on the back of his head which made him yelp.
"That's what you get for being a smart ass." She countered. He just chuckled.
They flew back to the watchtower at a leisure pace. Max stood at the training area, he was caught off guard by the sudden disappearance.
'I have to let the league know.' He thought as he turned and was about to run to a core league member but stopped.
"Flash…I just saw Power Girl vanish with Indominus." Max said.
"Woah calm down ZG." Flash started. "What do you mean?"
"Well they were talking and then Indominus grabbed her and they just vanished." Max explained.
Flash stood still for a few seconds thinking. 'Must be about the power he felt earlier.' Flash thought. 'After all, maybe Gohan and Karen just moved to fast for ZG. Regardless I should report this.'
"Alright thanks ZG, I will let the league know." Flash said.
"Hey Flash, what are you doing in the tower?" Gohan's voice asked.
Barry looked to Gohan. "Oh, I came to give a report, but ZG here told me you two just vanished?" Barry explained.
Gohan chuckled as he scratched the back of his head, Karen looked to him with a raised eyebrow. "That's what happens when you just decide to grab me and move at the speed of light."
"Hey don't turn this on me when you jump to conclusions." Gohan said as she rolled her eyes.
"But yes we just needed to talk." Gohan said. Barry nodded.
"That reminds me Max, just let me know when you want to train again, I need to leave right now." Power Girl said.
Barry smirked. "Let me guess." He started making smooching sounds. She turned red in the face but Flash caught on fast and raised his hands in the air.
"I kid, I kid." He chuckled. Gohan laughed.
"He knows just how to piss you off." She gave him a less then amused look.
"You are not to far off mister." She commented, and Gohan just smirked.
"Isn't that a good thing?" He said.
"Indominus you are so brave man." Max said.
"Brave? How so?" Gohan asked.
"I mean you openly flirt with Power Girl, aren't you afraid of getting punched in the face?" He asked.
Barry burst into laughter. "Indominus is special, only he can do it without losing teeth." Barry said as Power Girl turned red in the face, Gohan wasn't too far behind.
Max stood there again confused. 'Poor guy, he must be in denial.' Barry thought.
"I don't understand." Max said.
Gohan figured it was enough beating around the bush, even though they had decided to not talk about it, it was natural people would find out eventually.
"Power Girl and I are in a relationship." Gohan said, she turned even redder when he said it aloud.
"..." Max stood quietly.
"Anyway we have to get going." Karen quickly spoke and walked away.
"I am coming." Gohan said as he turned to Barry. "I'll see you later."
They soon disappeared from the watchtower and returned to earth.
Arriving at the hotel they made their way to the front desk to book the room again. When they reached the room and entered, Gohan turned and lifted Karen up bridal style earning a surprised yelp from her.
"What are you doing?" She asked, her face red.
He didn't respond as he kissed her. She didn't ask questions anymore and just put her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. He walked over to the couch and sat down with her still in his arms.
After a few seconds Gohan stopped and placed her on the couch, she looked at him wondering what he wanted to do, instead he slowly stood.
"I will call room service." She rolled her eyes and grabbed his hand.
"Room service can be called later, you started this so I will end it, now get back here!" She said as he pulled him down.
He chuckled as she pulled him down.
Back on the watchtower, Bell sat in a meditative possession in the training room as she glowed a red color. A familiar face walked in.
She stopped meditating and leaned back taking a short break. "What's up Nightwing." She said.
He waved. "Hey. You still training?" He asked.
She just nodded. "Trying to strengthen my mind with my power."
Nightwing nodded, he remember what what happened with Karen.
"So, how far have you gotten?" She asked.
"Well the only thing I can do is make a light out of my ki, if I try anymore it just becomes unstable and it feels like its about to explode in my hands." He admitted.
She sat with a thoughtful expression. "Alright try and make a ki ball." He nodded and concentrated, soon a small light appeared, like a candle flame.
"Okay now try and add more power." He followed, although the ki light just started to morph and distort.
"I can see and feel what is happening. You seem to forget about the energy already in your hands, you need to keep that ball alive and channel more power into it, it's almost like you lose the foundation the moment you try and make a ki ball. Don't forget to keep a constant flow of power in the foundation, and the more power you add just keep increasing the foundations power slowly, it's kind of like juggling." She said. "Otherwise it becomes unstable."
Nightwing nodded. "Well that makes sense, alright, here goes." He said as he started concentrating again. The ball of ki kept growing in size until it was the size of his head in between his hands.
"Okay so now what you have to do is compress the power, you have to force it smaller, there are two ways to do this, I will show you easy one, this heavily relies on your physical strength, depending on the technique, so you just keep increasing the power, but beware you are using a lot of your ki right now, if you discharge it you might pass out due to exhaustion." She warned. "It will press against your hands, but don't move your hands, use your hands to squeeze the ki ball down. The power will push against you." She said, Nightwing nodded and grunted as he felt the ki push against his hands.
He sighed and slowly dispelled the energy. He sighed when the ball disappeared and his energy returned to him.
"Thanks Bell." She smiled and gave him a thumbs up.
"No problem." The two continued practicing.
Back on New Vegeta, the Saiyans were becoming restless, the strongest saiyans were all calm, they didn't worry to much about it, they had high power levels and had years of experience as warriors.
Saperos was training in a field with Zeldora. "So have you finally gotten your motor functions down?" he asked.
She shrugged, her eyes glowing green. "I guess, although I really do not care, I by far have the highest power level, no one can match me, and the motor function issue I have is only a issue because Crimson and I want to alternate between who gets control." Emerald Zeldora spoke.
Saperos nodded. "Makes sense." He relaxed out of his fighting stance, she followed suit.
They both looked to the sky to see Bardock landing near them. "General!" They both stood at attention.
Bardock nodded. "At ease, I am here as a friend not the General." Bardock said. The two relaxed.
"So I take it you two have trained for the tournament." Bardock said.
Saperos nodded. "Of course, as confident as I am I don't want to let this opportunity slip through my fingers. Besides, I have seen the lower class training day and night, some have lost their lives while training, every single saiyan alive craves for entry into the academy."
Bardock nodded. "I saw, i did a planet wide scan an hour ago, the highest power level on this planet is currently Zeldora, followed by the king Vegeta, I am third and about thirty super elites and you rank somewhere in the top thirty, the rest are all elites." Bardock summarized.
"So, I have been wondering…do any of you know if Lord Gohan has chosen a…mate?" Zeldora's question came. Both Saperos and Bardock looked to her.
"I cannot say with certainty, so I will not comment." Bardock said, after all it wasn't exactly uncommon, saiyan females generally look for strong males to mate with, for strong off spring, and who better than a god.
"I can imagine how many of the females have wondered about." Saperos said.
Bardock nodded. "There is definitely no shortage."
Zeldora grunted and her eyes turned green. "It matters not, I will beat any female into the ground if they come close to Lord Gohan."
Saperos just sighed. "I bet you will Zel. Now if you all will excuse me, I need to sleep, if I train too much and don't sleep I don't think I am doing myself any favors." Saperos said as he floated up and left.
Bardock stared at the retreating saiyan. 'Well that must suck, I guess the only female he is interested in is already set on the saiyan god.' He just shook his head and looked to Zeldora.
"Try and get some rest will you, take a page out of Saperos's book and sleep." Bardock said and flew away.
Zeldora nodded and made her way back to the city.
With Gohan and Karen a few hours later…
They were on the couch making out when Karen pulled away. They had both changed into more comfortable clothes. "Okay, Gohan…we need to talk." Karen started.
Gohan looked at her. "Yeah?"
"So, I am sure this must have crossed your mind at least once." She turned red in the face.
"What has?" He asked.
"I am talking about…uhm…that thing…you know?" She asked, wishing he could catch a hint.
Gohan just stared at her in confusion. 'What on earth is she talking about?' He thought.
"Don't you make me say it out loud!" Gohan still didn't get it.
"I am talking about SEX Gohan!" She said loudly.
Gohan just flushed at the word and laughed nervously.
"Well yeah I have but I didn't want to put you in such a weird position-"
"Do you…want to?" She asked.
Gohan was momentarily stunned. No words came out of his mouth.
"So is that a no…" She asked.
"What no!" The words flew out of his mouth before he could stop them. Karen turned red in the face. Gohan quickly spoke.
"I was just shocked but, Karen, excuse my language but why in the fuck do you think I would not want to have sex with you?" Gohan's saiyan side briefly shined before he felt like shoving a fist in his mouth.
"Oh my god y-you perv!" Karen started blushing, her ears turning red.
Gohan turned red. "Hey you started this whole conversation." Gohan countered.
"Well I only brought it up because you never would…and I get its because you know that the saiyan thing is still fresh in my mind but…it's different." She said, Gohan looked at her.
"I mean, when I am with you….when we are alone…together, nothing really crosses my mind." She confessed.
Gohan lowered his hand from her waist to her thighs and leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. "I don't care about sex Karen. I mean you are extremely beautiful but you are more than your looks."
She just smiled. "You are such a loser." She said. Gohan chuckled. "But you're my loser." She looked him in the eyes. "But I just wanted to have the conversation, especially since we are together now." She finished.
Gohan nodded, he smirked as he leaned in and kissed her neck. A soft moan escaped from her making her blush. "Hey no sneak attacks." She complained. "Ah…" She moaned again.
He looked up to her and laughed. "You have such a sexy voice babe." She just rolled her eyes.
"Oh please." She glanced at the clock and it was nearly ten pm. "Well, I am pretty tired." She stood up and made her way to the bed. 'Please take a hint.' She thought.
"That's fine." He smirked as he snuck up behind her and tackled her onto the bed.
"Gohan!" She called out. She didn't get to say anymore as he kissed her.
He blushed as he spoke. "How about we…" She placed a hand on his lips stopping him from talking.
She leaned forward and kissed him as she grabbed his shirt and just pulled on it ripping it off.
The two spent the night as lovers for the first time.
The next day Gohan opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was Karen's sleeping face, her blonde hair covering her face, he moved his hand and gently moved it away to expose her face fully.
He could hear her breathing, she was still asleep. She had a small smile on her face. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "I love you…" He whispered, she reached forward and pulled him in wrapping her arms around him and nuzzled her head into his chest.
He blushed slightly, he could feel her breasts pushing against him. He wrapped his arm around her and closed his eyes drifting off to sleep again.
He opened his eyes, he felt really refreshed, he glanced down and saw the bed was empty. 'She must have gone to the kitchen or the bathroom.' He thought as he got out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean up.
"Hey babe, did you order room service already? I was thinking we go out for breakfast before we head back to the watchtower." Gohan called out.
He headed to the kitchen when he was done and saw no one was there. "Weird…she must be out somewhere…" He muttered to himself, he let his senses envelope the world and felt her energy already at the watchtower.
"Did something happen? No…she would have woken me up." He ended his train of thought. "Mustn't be important." He shrugged, he could feel everyone was calm.
He snap vanished and reappeared outside the watchtower and made his way in.
He entered and made his way to Power Girl who was training with Max in the training room. "Hey. You got a minute?" He asked.
She glanced to him. "What do you want?" The edge in her voice sounded sharp, almost like she was angry with him.
"Nothing just came to see what you were up to." He said, she glanced to him, a slightly confused expression, she glanced to Max who shrugged, she just continued.
Gohan turned and walked back to the cafeteria and ordered a full tray of food.
He sat and ate for a while, before spotting Barry. "Hey Flash." He called out, Barry turned to him.
"Hey what's up man?" Barry asked with a grin.
"Nothing much, just happy to be alive!" Gohan said with a grin. Barry laughed.
"You seem happy."
"Yeah I am." Gohan finished. "By the way, I am thinking of getting Karen a gift, what do you think she likes more, a necklace or a bracelet? Maybe earrings?" He asked.
"Karen?" Barry looked confused.
"Yeah." He confirmed.
Barry sighed. "Oh you must be having one of your episodes again. Man whatever you think is happening between you are Karen is not real. You have been having delusions after the fight with Darkseid, it has been happening more often lately…I hate to tell you this man…" Barry said.
Gohan stared at him. "What are you on about? I never had delusions. Her and I have been together for a few weeks now." Gohan confirmed.
Barry sighed. "No we haven't." Karen said as she walked in. "When we fought Darkseid, you took a heavy blow to the head and was comatose for a while, you occasionally mix reality with delusions and you even forget that so we had to record it, and I am currently in a relationship with Max, not with you, god that's disgusting." She said as Barry showed him a tablet.
A video was playing and it was Gohan staring at the screen. {"Hey, if you are looking at this it means that you relapsed again, yes what they are saying is true, I know it will really hurt depending on how strong your delusion was, but just remember that none of it is real, a lot of things will seem normal but little details tend to change, sometimes the details are noticeable, while other times its so small you don't notice until it slams you in the face, most of the time your delusion comes from seeing things over and over."} The video Gohan spoke, Gohan looked at Barry and sensed his ki as he looked at Gohan, his ki was calm, meaning he wasn't lying or pretending.
His chest ached for a second as the video continued. {"I don't know why but it's either Karen, Kara or Bell who you end up in a relationship with, it seems real…but trust me…it isn't…"}
Gohan started to just tuned out the video as he looked up at Karen, the look in her eyes was one of disgust. "Let's go babe." Said Max as he grabbed her hand and walked away.
The image of her sleeping peacefully in his arms flashed through his mind. He felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked and saw Barry standing next to him with a comforting look, Diana made her way into the cafeteria.
She saw the tablet and a look of pity passed over her face. "It's okay Gohan." She said as he grabbed his chest. The pain was unbearable, it was eating him alive. Her figure walking off into the distance.
Hello everyone, I hope you all enjoyed that! I had fun writing it, some of it I did on stream, while some of it I did off stream, it gets done faster that way, its a bit behind schedule but here yah go! But I bet you guys weren't expecting that! Poor Gohan, man cant seem to catch a break :D, Stay tuned for the next chapter and find out what happened!
