Review of the Chapter!

I apologize for the short chapter! Also I have started a for those interested! I go into more detail at the end of the chapter! And i dont know why the chapter didn't show up when i posted it, Fanfiction must be smoking some of that good drugs, but i am reporting it now, hopefully it works.
He wasn't sure how much time had passed but he was sure it couldn't have been more than a day. He inhaled as he shook his head. 'I am really losing my mind…' He thought as a buzzer went off, he looked to his door.
He walked up to it and saw Batman, opening the door Batman spoke. "She is this way." He started walking and Gohan followed.
"She is among the best of the best, an Indian psychiatrist, graduated Harvard University, she has dealt with many superheroes who have lost their minds. In fact she is working at the same university you are in, at Central City, I am sure you have seen or heard of her before." Gohan shrugged.
"Although her dealings with the league has been highly confidential. I am sure you know why." Batman said. "You will be alone with her, we don't have any surveillance in the room." Batman reassured, the last thing he wanted was to make it even harder than it already was for Gohan.
"But I will be honest with you, if she thinks you are not suitable to be a hero anymore-" Batman was cut off by Gohan.
"Yes I know…I will just be another problem the league will have to worry about. So working in the field will no longer be something I can do." He said, Batman just nodded.
"I really hope it doesn't come to that Gohan." Batman said.
"So do I." Gohan said as he entered the room. 'I really hope I can fix this…I should meditate more, try and dive deeper into my mind to try and figure it out, sure this psychiatrist will be able to help me out on the surface, but if I want to get any real work done then that is something only I can do.' He thought as they arrived at the door.
Batman made way for him to enter the room. There was no exchange of words.
Back in reality…
Gohan lay on a hospital bed in a coma, Karen was asleep by his bedside, in the room was Goku, Vegeta, Whis and Beerus. "That's what happened to him." Whis said.
"I am sure he will be fine, if Gohan is anything he is a fighter." Goku said calmly.
Vegeta just stared at his unconscious body. "It is rather strange that he just fell unconscious like that…" Vegeta said, Beerus nodded.
"That dark power in him felt so weak and minuscule, who knew that it had the power to put him in a coma." Beerus said as he walked up to Gohan. "Perhaps I could just destroy the dark parasitic power?" he suggested.
Whis shook his head. "If you do that then he will truly never wake up again. He has fused with the power, you might destroy him in the process. Either way, it has a solid grip on his mind, not even I can break it without damaging Gohan's soul." Whis said.
Beerus sighed. "What a shame, he has great potential." Beerus said as he glanced around.
"We should be leaving soon, I have been absent from the 7th universe for a long time." Beerus said, Whis nodded.
Supergirl walked into the room. "Oh, hello…" She said, surprised to see them. They turned to her.
"Hello." Goku greeted. Whis smiled.
"Evening Supergirl." He greeted.
Beerus and Vegeta just stared at her. "So have you guys found a way to wake him up?" She asked hopeful.
Whis shook his head. "Unfortunately not, doing anything could leave him stuck like this for the rest of his life."
"So we really just have to let him believe he is living in a 'real' reality?" A new voice asked, they all looked to Karen who was awake now staring at them.
Whis sighed. "Indeed."
"Can't you try something…" She asked. "Anything?" The edge of desperation leaking out slightly.
"If we try anything it could risk his soul woman, did you not understand what Whis said?" Beerus asked. "Damage to the soul is incredibly difficult to fix."
Karen nodded slowly, Kara walked over to her. "You can't blame her, she doesn't want him to be there."
Beerus sighed. "Argh!" He shrugged. "I know, I too was once mortal, it's not like I don't know how strong the heart can be. But believe me when I say that him being like this is better than a failed attempt."
Whis nodded. "I would have suggested Lord Beerus destroy the shadow power and if it fails I would turn back time, so Gohan wouldn't really die." They listened carefully, in fact the thought of turning back time was possible.
"However, I would have to turn back time after he died, meaning he would die in his fake world, then he would suddenly be alive again, he would fall down a deeper pit of self-insanity." Whis said. "Because he will be aware he suddenly just died after feeling excruciating pain, I am sure you can imagine how damaging that can be to his train of thought."
"You can ask your green friend to drop hints on training, the more Gohan masters his shadow power the faster he will awake, and he will realize that his world is tainted with darkness."
Silence ensued. Karen just nodded. "Either way as Lord Beerus has said we have been gone from the 7th universe for far too long, we should head back." Whis said, he created a blue glass and handed it to the leaguers.
"What is this?" Kara asked.
"If you stare into it you will be able to see what is happening in his mind, I will only give access to those who Gohan seemed to trust the most, which is her." He pointed to Karen. "The man dressed as a bat, the green Martian and the one with the lightning symbol on his chest." Whis said. "It also acts as a communication device for Gohan, he will be able to communicate with me directly, if he wants to come visit the 7th universe, I will see when I am free."
They nodded. "Alright. We should be on our way now." Beerus said as he turned to Goku and Vegeta.
"Come on lets leave." Beerus said as he turned to Whis and they walked away.
Goku smiled. "Look after my son." He said as he smiled and walked away.
When they left and no one was in the room Kara looked to Karen. "Do you want to talk?" She asked as Karen shook her head.
"Nothing said right now will make me feel better." She said. Kara nodded.
"I know, I just thought I should ask." She said as she stood up, with nothing to say that would comfort Karen she just left.
Karen stared at Gohan's unconscious form, she stared into the mirror.
Back with Gohan…
"-When I woke up, she was in my arms, with a small smile on her face, after that amazing night…I was going to get her a necklace or something nice. But that's when my world seemed to come crashing down." He ended.
"Listen Mr. Indominus…the first step to helping yourself is accepting that you might be mentally unstable, all the…Bizarre sights and sounds…your feelings, everything is not real…" The woman said, her tone was comforting, like she was trying to not upset him.
"But it felt so…real…" He said.
"Our minds are extremely complex, and you being a deity makes it even harder to understand, but…the emotions you are talking about seem very human to me. The point I am trying to make is that your mind can do amazing things, such as create sounds from nothing, images from nothing, emotions from nothing. People can fall in love with a smell, a taste, a sound, it's what being alive is composed of." Gohan nodded.
"I plan on meditating and searching my mind for answers…maybe I could find some sort of problem." He said, but the therapist shook her head.
"Not yet, I believe you won't find anything unless you confront the main problem right now." She said but Gohan shook his head.
"I can still clear my mind fairly well-" He didn't get to finish.
"Am I wrong by saying when you close your eyes you still see her smiling at you? You still see the sun reflecting off her hair as you hold her close? You can still smell her natural fragrance?" The therapist asked.
Gohan froze. "I believe before you can move on and get better, you need to confront this unhealthy mindset. Because clearly you can see she is not interested in you, the world you conjured up, the love you conjured up could be coming from a feeling of loss of home, tell me…were you getting to know someone before you came here?" She asked.
Silence, he hadn't thought about his home in a long while, there was only one girl back home who caught his eye. 'To be fair, it's not like I was going to go out and find someone.' He thought.
"...Videl…" He said.
"And tell me…was this person a blonde female?" She asked.
Gohan shook his head. "No, she was a brunette, like Bell." He said, losing steam.
"Okay, maybe this girl had a blonde friend? She was perhaps well endowed such as Power Girl? You found her attractive maybe?" She asked.
Gohan leaned forward and sunk into his hands. "…Erasa…she even had short hair…like Karen…"
The therapist wrote down into her notepad. "So, now that we have made some progress, I hope you can entrust me with more and we can hopefully get closer to the root of the problem." She said.
In reality with Karen…
'She is lying…' Karen thought to herself as tears streamed down her cheeks, she sniffed. Her will slowly breaking. The door clicked and locked.
Karen knew Kara had locked the door.
In the monitor room J'onn looked at the feed and changed the feed. 'She deserves some privacy…' He thought as his mind travelled to the past. 'To think that she used to really hate him and now she is crying at the thought of him not waking up again, or waking up but his eyes will no longer have the light of love in them…the light of love for her.' He thought to himself, he pitied her.
After a few hours J'onn made his way to the medical wing of the watchtower. He made his way towards the room and knocked on the door. He gave a few seconds before opening the door. "Mr. Whis told me that I will have to do the hints for Gohan seeing as he had to leave, he gave me an ornament to make communication with the mind easier."
Karen nodded and backed up. J'onn nodded and walked up to the bed and placed his hand on Gohan's head. "I will make my leave…the earth won't protect itself." She said, J'onn paused for a second and looked to her.
"No one will blame you if you want to take a few days off." He said. "At this point you deserve it." He said, she didn't say anything as she left.
J'onn turned back to Gohan and closed his eyes as he held the little blue ornament in his hand.
Back with Gohan….
"Thank you, for listening." He said as he left the room.
"Same time tomorrow?" She asked, Gohan nodded and made his way back to his room.
'I should probably train…' he thought but the therapist's voice came to his mind. 'You hold out on training until you fix yourself.'
He sighed and sat on his bed. 'Well these next few months will be pretty boring.' He thought.
The next second a thought wondered through his mind. 'But it wouldn't hurt to maybe meditate a little.'
Gohan mused on the thought before shaking his head. 'Maybe I will a few days from now.' he thought. 'I do want to see what is going on in my head.'
He closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Outside with J'onn…
"Well, at least he will meditate soon, I have already made progress." He said to himself.
"That's good." Batman's voice said.
J'onn turned to him. "His mind is clouded in darkness, if he just meditates for more than five hours he will be able to break the illusion and realize that he is in his head."
Batman nodded. "We can't let the Saiyans know he is comatose, last time they found out he was unconscious they attacked."
"Well at the time they had never met him yet and after he overpowered them I am sure they wouldn't try and anything." J'onn said.
"Regardless, I won't risk innocent lives." Batman said, J'onn nodded.
"Fair enough."
Time passed by and soon a week had passed, no villains had attacked, thankfully, the heroes were mostly doing their jobs patrolling their cities, during this time J'onn had been trying to get Gohan to meditate but the therapist in his head kept telling him to not meditate at all, at least not yet.
Karen took a few days off but had returned to her job, she looked fine on the outside and most of the leaguers didn't know she was currently struggling to sleep every night.
She made her way to the training room to find Max there with some other minor league members. "Hey Max." She greeted.
Max turned around and saw her. "Hey Power Girl." He spoke. The others all stared at the two interacting.
"You busy training?" She asked.
He nodded. "Yes, but it's more hand to hand than anything else, why? You want to bench?" He asked, she nodded.
He smiled. "Say no more. Let's go!" He said, he turned to his friends. "Sorry guys, I am going to help Power Girl." He said, he almost had a smug tone in his voice.
He turned and made his way back to the same machine they always used. Laying down she picked up the bar.
Max started to push down on the bar. Karen felt him push down. "Wow you have gotten stronger." She commented.
He chuckled. "I have been training!" He boasted. "Where have you been I haven't see you for like a week now?" He asked.
"I took some time off, after the whole Saiyan invasion, and Darkseid, Batman gave me some time off." She said, he nodded.
"Well, you do deserve it." He said.
When they were done Karen sat up and wiped the sweat off her forehead when she suddenly felt dizzy, falling over Max barely caught her from falling face first into the ground.
"Power Girl!" Max exclaimed. She shook her head slightly.
"That's new…" She said. "I won't lie, I haven't been feeling so well over the past few day, but that's the first time I actually lost balance." She commented as she stared at Max who was still holding her in his arms.
"Are you going to let me up or…" She asked, Max turned pink in the face as he stood up and let go of her.
"Thanks for the catch." She said as she smiled and walked away. "See you tomorrow Max." She said.
He waved at her retreating figure. "See ya." He said as the other heroes made their way over.
"Last I saw you could barely talk to her and now you hold her like a damsel in distress, what's really going on here?" The one guy asked Max who had a grin on his face.
"Nothing, she has just become my friend!" He said as the other laughed.
"Just a friend huh? So you got into the friend zone then?" They asked Max just shrugged.
"She is already with someone. So I can't do anything, I don't want to be punched in the face." He said.
The others looked at one another. "When did she start seeing someone?" They asked. "Are you sure? Maybe she is just letting you down softly?" His friend asked. "And besides who could impress her?"
"No, she is with Indominus." Max said with a sigh. "But hey! She isn't the only woman around! Besides becoming jealous wouldn't suit my title as a hero! I didn't risk my life so many times to lose my reputation because of petty jealousy." Max said seriously.
"Right…the god, of course only a literal god that is type of person she would go out with." A round of depression aired but was broken by Max laughing.
"You guys should really get out more." As he left.
Hello everyone! I am back! Now I have to address this, I said that I would update within 2 days, and people reviewed and keep saying it's been 2 days, you all seem to have misunderstood, I had already updated in 2 days, I never said I was going to update every 2 days continuously, that's madness, I just updated that chapter fast because the chapter that I wrote was really confusing to most so I followed up very fast within a day, now that that is out of the way I hope you all enjoyed it! What I will be doing now is Review of the Chapter! I will place the best review, whether it's funny, or it's a good critique or just makes me personally happy or something, it will be a personal choice, it will be placed at the top of the chapter!
