Gohan opened his eyes, the first thing that came to mind was his mind blowing experience, he felt a smaller hand tighten around his.

Glancing down he saw Karen asleep, her head resting on the bed, he relaxed in his bed he couldn't believe that he was happy he had been living in a nightmare and not reality, she stirred and saw him smiling at the ceiling.

"How are you?" She asked drawing his attention.

"Much better now.." The words hung in the air.

"You still love me right?" She asked suddenly.

Not expecting the question Gohan stared at her, the silence was a bit suffocating but she didn't want to say anything he needed to say it without being coerced. "You should know that I am still very much in love with you Karen."

For a few seconds they just stared at one another not saying anything. "I missed you like crazy." Karen revealed as she started to tear up. "When I woke up and you kept sleeping day after day I started to panic, I was a mess." She said softly.

"You aren't the only one I was on the verge of mental collapse."

"Every second I was in the nightmare felt so real, I honestly believed you and everyone else, and after some introspection I realized that love makes me weak in that sense." Gohan spoke and looked her in the eyes.

"It makes you weak as well…"

Her heart was tightening at his words, what was he getting at? Surely he wasn't about to say what she thought he was about to say. SURELY.

"I came to terms with it, I am willing- willing to be weak- willing to have the weakness, willing to…die for it."

"Willing to die..for you Karen, are you willing to be weak for me?" He asked.

Her eyes started to water even more as she sighed in relief. "You idiot why would you start like that? I thought you were about to say something else."

"Remember what I told you in space? You don't have to be the strongest, we are a team we keep each other strong, even with the risks 'we' are something I don't want to give up." She answered. "It's something we can't give up, we are going to be parents."

Gohan smiled and sat up and leaned forward and kissed her. "We really jumped forward didn't we?" He asked.

"Yes we did." She chuckled as she sat on the bed and leaned against him.

"I missed this…seeing you with someone else was just-" She cut him off.

"That wasn't me, I may be a bitch occasionally but I would never willing break someone because they annoyed me, especially if I know they have a condition now you have this memory of someone with my face destroying you emotionally."

"I don't blame you like you said, that wasn't you." Gohan smiled.

"But I do need to learn how to control this dark power, I feel like we got lucky this time, so I need to train." He answered.

She pulled away. "Train? You want to leave?" She asked.

"Come with me."

Stunned to silence Karen was frozen.

"Come see my home, it won't be forever but I do need to learn to control this power, otherwise I could end up doing something I will regret for the rest of my life." He said.

She said nothing for a few seconds and looked down at her lap. "You don't have to give me an answer no-"

"Okay."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, let's do it." She answered.

Stunned for a few seconds he just nodded. "But there is one thing I need to do first." Gohan said and gently moved her away from him and got up and walked up to her.

"Karen…" He started and got down on one knee.

"I don't know what the future holds or how this will pan out but I know what I have to do now. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?" He asked.

"Will you marry me?"

Her ears turned red as she couldn't stop a massive smile from reaching her face and nodded. "Ye…yes!"

She reached for him and hugged him tightly, he raised his power level just enough to not get crushed by her death grip.

"Congratulations!" The room was suddenly full of leaguers. Who had confetti and warm words.

"How did you guys know?" Gohan asked surprised he knew they were outside but he didn't know they had bought confetti.

Barry spoke. "You think I can't run to earth buy some confetti and make my way back? Plus Supes helped." He answered as Clark walked in.

"You know I would never have guessed it." He said as he smiled at Karen. "I'm glad you found you found your happiness Karen."

"But it goes without saying Gohan will have a lot to explain if he breaks your heart!" Clark gave a smile but it had some passive aggression mixed with it.

"But I already gave him my blessing." Clark smiled.

Diana walked up to them and smiled. "Human customs are a bit strange to me however I do know that this warrants a congratulations!"

"Thanks Diana." Gohan said.

At this point they were all standing and talking with one another, they all seemed relaxed but nervous.

"So it's not just me right? I am not the only one who feels like something bad will happen right? Even though we just had so many disasters almost like they all wait for their turn?" Green Lantern asked.

"The universe is a big place but earth really does seem like a hotspot."

"I thought I was imagining it but I guess I'm not the only one." Barry pointed out.

Everyone just chuckled nervously. "No one is saying anything because we are all worried of Murphy's Law right now and no one wants to trigger it so how about we all just actually relax and go about our lives like usual?" Kara said.

They all nodded and Kara looked at Karen and smirked. "You and I are talking later."

"Yeah later." She smiled as she pulled Gohan and ran past everyone.

"Karen!?" Gohan said with a look of surprise plastered onto his face as he was dragged out of the room.

Everyone laughed as Gohan was pulled away. "Enjoy your time off!" Barry called out and waved.

"At this point you guys earned it."

"I guess it's back to work for us!" Green Lantern grumbled as he glowed green.

"The world won't protect itself." Clark pointed out and walked away.

"Kal! Can we talk?" She asked as they disappeared.

Soon everyone cleared out and returned to their cities.

When Gohan and Karen entered the earths atmosphere they floated in the sky for a few moments and enjoyed the view.

"You know I think we should go do some normal people stuff." Gohan said as she looked to him.

"Normal as in?"

"Rock climbing? Sky diving? Festivals, you name it!" Gohan nodded. "Yea that sounds fun."

"Genius you realize we can fly right? The festival sounds fun but rock climbing?"

"It doesn't matter, we don't have to fly, we pay professionals for the sky dive, you know just live in the moment!" He nodded knowingly.

She wasn't convinced but relented. "Okay…you wanna have a preview of sky diving now?" She asked as she looked down, right now they were pretty high up in the stratosphere.

"Why not?" He asked as he stopped flying and started free falling. "WooHooo!" He yelled as he descended.

Karen rolled her eyes and smiled before she stopped her own flying ability and dropped, she smiled as she saw Gohan spinning in the air he turned and faced up to look at her and for that moment Karen realized she was happy, way more happy than she would care to admit right now she had no worries none that could truly pose a problem to thee Power Girl, her whole life almost went down the drain but with everything back to normal she wanted to hold onto it for as long as possible.

She slowly matched Gohan as they descended out of the clouds. "See?" Gohan spoke over the howling winds, he knew she could hear him.

"I don't know about you but right now I am feeling pretty fucking amazing." He smiled and turned and kissed her. "Did I ever tell you you're beautiful?"

"Oh shut up your just flattering me." She rolled her eyes.

A few seconds of silence passed as they free fell. "You know, I am kind of nervous now I mean I already met your father but now I am going to meet your mother." She confessed.

Gohan turned to her and stared before bursting out into laughter. "After everything thats happened that's what you're worried about?"

"My mother will love you, just because you're my girlfriend, the fact that your smart, beautiful, stronger than me, and make a six figure salary off of your own merit will instantly net you her approval, now I wouldn't say your modest but that doesn't matter she is kind of material but don't tell her I said that." Gohan checked things off his fingers.

"Okay I'll let the modest thing slide because of everything else, but you're sure right?" She asked.

"Babe your worrying over nothing." Gohan shrugged and placed his hands behind his head and relaxed unaware that Karen was blushing like a tomato.

"I wasn't aware we we calling each other pet names." She pointed out as Gohan choked on air.

"God I said that out loud, it just slipped out naturally." He said as she chuckled.

"I like it…"

"Oh…well I guess I can try my hardest to think of more then!" He said as she rolled her eyes.

"Did I ever tell you that you're a clown Son Gohan?" Gohan laughed.

"Honestly I have no idea, but knowing you, probably." He bit back.

"Hey!" She argued as he laughed, but she couldn't stop herself as she joined him, the scene was somewhat comical two people falling at terminal velocity with no parachutes laughing at the top of the lungs.

When they were two hundred meters above the ground they came to halt above an open field. "Miami?" He asked.

"Sure." She answered and they flew off at sub-sonic speeds.

When they arrived many people recognized Power Girl and Indominus walking along the streets of a city they have never been seen in, some people snuck pictures of the two as they passed, they signed autographs for many as well but most people seemed to understand that the heroes would leave if they were followed too much, regardless a crowd of people ended up following them around.

"You think they're together?"

"Wow she has a nice rack!"

"What I would do to have a night with her."

"If only he could pump a baby into me…"

"Wow he looks even better in person."

"The things I'd do to him…"

The comments of the people were quite outlandish so Karen and Gohan quickly left. "So maybe we should have changed before we landed." Gohan said as she rolled her eyes.

"Nah it's fine, I don't mind people knowing, it would stop the cat calling, I generally ignore it but everyone knows you're a god so maybe that will stop them and as much as I would love to break bones I'm a hero."

"Well, I'm fine with people knowing so it doesn't matter to me either." He shrugged. "But if you wanted people to know we are together we could have just held a press conference."

"No, that reeks of desperation 'oh my god look at us we're together!' no thank you." Karen rolled her eyes as Gohan chuckled.

"Plus right now I am contemplating something." Karen said as Gohan eye her curiously.

"What do you mean?"

"I am surrounding myself with all the people, I want to know if it's worth being a hero anymore." She said and looked at Gohan who was surprised by the comment. "I am going to be a mother soon and you are going to be a father."

"I will still protect the world but my child comes first, he or she will have a family…something I never had."

Karen frowned. "It's a personal decision for me."

Gohan nodded, he never thought of it like that. "I also realized that the child will most likely be very very strong if our genetics mix perfectly, so they will probably be stronger than you and I after a few years."

Karen nodded. "Yeah."

"Or they could clash and the kid is weaker than an average Saiyan and Kryptonian." He said as he put his hand on his chin. "Or maybe-"

Karen started laughing. "You already want to meet our baby?"

He just nodded like a kid and smiled. "I am really excited."

"Names? Do you have any?" Karen asked.

"I think we should somehow incorporate both our names in, you are Kryptonian." Gohan answered. "You have a Kryptonian name right?" Asked Gohan as he face palmed. "Wow, I don't even know your Kryptonian name."

"It's fine, I don't really use my Kryptonian name so it's normal that you wouldn't know it., my 'real' name is actually Kara Zor-L, I just choose Karen over Kara because well Kara already took it." She shrugged.

Gohan nodded. "Well I am still calling you Karen." He said as she glared at him.

"I swear I will break a bone if you call me Kara." Her eyes narrowed.

Gohan raised his hands in defense as he chuckled. "I wasn't planning on it, but I guess I don't have any names just yet but I will eventually!" Gohan said as she just smiled.

"Alright let's change and rent a room." She said.

Back in the DBZ universe…

"Yeah, I met Gohan he is fine." Goku said as he relaxed around a table with all his friends and family.

"Really!?" Chi-Chi said. "When is he coming back? WHY ISN'T HE BACK WITH YOU?" She asked.

"He isn't ready to come back yet." Goku said as Chi-Chi glared at him.

"Not ready!? My baby!"

"That's a relief!" Krillin said as he sighed.

"I'm just glad knowing he's fine."

"What is it like over there anyway?" Tien asked.

"Lot's of strong people, they aren't Saiyans or anything but man oh man can they pack a punch!" Goku said. "Gohan is a hero there, he saves people."

"I can't wait to see him again!" Videl chipped in. "I have gotten much stronger since the last time we saw each other." Her happiness was apparent.

"I'm sure he will come back to visit eventually." Goku nodded.

A few days would go by after that and Gohan and Karen just enjoyed their time together, it was safe to say that they were very lovey dovey with one another.

"Okay so hear me out! After this why don't I teach you how to use your ki?" He asked.

"Really? You did say it would make me much stronger…" She mused as she thought about it.

"Yeah, I pretty much think you would be the strongest person in all of existence at that point." Gohan shrugged.

Karen smiled. "You really like strong women don't you?"

"Well I am with the strongest woman in the universe aren't I?"

She rolled her eyes at that. "Well I did realize I am engaged to the biggest ass kisser in the universe."

Gohan just laughed. "What? I just can't help it, must be my saiyan side being happy that I have a strong partner."

"Well, I am very happy as well." She said as she kissed him. "Wanna know a secret?"

"I get so turned on when I see you without a shirt on." She confessed as Gohan just blushed with a smirk on his face.

"I mean I am a god." He boasted as he flexed.

"And you're mine right now strip!" She demanded as she pounced on him.

"Woah! Say please." Gohan teased with a grin as she glared at him before she smiled at him sweetly and blushed.

"Baby…please, I need you right now…" Gohan gulped as his heart pounded in his chest.

"A-alright." He stuttered as he moved forward but Karen's laugh snapped him back to reality as she glared at him with an evil grin.

"Oh no, your turn to beg." She smirked at him as Gohan just grinned and grabbed her and pulled her towards him.

"No more games…come here." He said as she yelped at the sudden movement.

"Oh, look at you being a man." She purred into his ear as the room started to heat up.

"I love you."

"I love you."

Days later Gohan was back in the watch tower.

"Hey Gohan." Barry called out as he stopped next to him.

"Hey man." Gohan responded.

"You wanna come over for that dinner?"

"I completely forgot about it with everything that happened, but yeah sure I'd love to."

"Don't even worry about it man it was pretty hectic for a normal dinner, Iris has been dying to meet you."

Gohan chuckled. "Sure next weekend? Will Saturday do?"

"Yeah that works." Barry confirmed. "Iris is going to be stoked when she hears this."

"She must really want to meet me huh?"

"Well yeah, not every day you get to meet a real god."

"Try and be as godly as possible." Barry joked.

Gohan rolled his eyes and laughed it off. "Will do, I'll be sure to come in god form as well."

"Oh can I bring Karen?"

"Of course."

"Well I'll see you then! Send me the address later." Gohan said.

"Gotcha."

They separated and went about their business.

Not much time had passed when Gohan reached the apartment he and Karen shared, his nose perked up as he smelt food.

"I'm back! What smells like food?" He asked as he walked into the kitchen, the apartment was fairly massive and very high up.

"Hey babe." Karen answered as she concentrated on the oven in front of her.

"It smells amazing, what are you making?"

"Just some macaroni and cheese."

"Oh? It smells divine." He walked in and saw her in his shirt, her hair was tied up messily he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

She smiled gently squeezed his hands. "Anything new happen at the watchtower?" She asked.

"Nah, Barry did invite us to dinner though it has been long over due honestly."

"When?"

"Next weekend, Saturday." She nodded and turned around and kissed him.

"Well the macaroni will be done in a few minutes, have anything fun you want to do after that?" She asked.

"Well I have to return to New Vegeta, the Academy trials will begin soon, I need to set up the few who will be training under me."

"I forgot about that, mind if I come along?"

"I was going to ask if you wanted to tag along." Gohan nodded as she pecked him on the lips.

"You always have the right answer." She smiled as she broke free from him and walked away as she took off his baggy shirt leaving her in her underwear, Gohan just smiled and turned to the fridge and poured himself a glass of juice as she returned in her Power Girl costume.

After she turned off the oven they opened the window and flew out of the apartment Gohan transformed into his god form and once they broke out of the atmosphere they sped up and flew towards New Vegeta.

When they arrived they landed outside the palace and the guards who saw Gohan just saluted. "My lord!" They said in unison loud enough for it to echo into the palace.

Gohan merely nodded at them and continued walking, Karen eyed the guards as she walked past them. "Look at you." She whispered.

Gohan just chuckled. "You're basically royalty." Karen continued as she walked side by side with him.

"I don't really care about it, I would rather if they just went about their business but if I am too lenient with them I could have problems in the future." Gohan explained and she nodded.

"You think our kid will receive the same treatment?" She asked.

"Knowing them, yes." Gohan answered.

She grinned. "Looks like I chose right."

Gohan rolled his eyes and just chuckled. "You're loving this aren't you?"

"Nah I'm just kidding, I have been worshiped by humans but I am no deity." She shrugged.

"Well technically once you learn how to use your ki I am going to show you how to use divine ki so you will be a goddess eventually."

Karen's eyes widened for a second. "I forgot about that."

Their conversation was cut short when they entered the throne room, hundred of Elites were standing at attention and turned and saluted Gohan as he entered general Bardock and captain Zeldora was on one knee next to King Vegeta who was waiting for Gohan.

Karen for a second could not believe her eyes but she quickly composed herself, she glanced at Gohan who didn't seem to react to it, she was a bit taken aback because she had never been around someone who was treated like this.

They stopped in front of the thrown. "My lord." King Vegeta greeted.

"King Vegeta." Gohan greeted back and nodded. "This is Power Girl of earth my mate." Gohan introduced as Karen smiled with a small blush she was not expecting to be called a mate.

"Nice to meet you." She greeted as King Vegeta nodded, he recognized her she was indeed very powerful but the temperature in the room seemed to go down noticeably. 'None of the elites here seem to have fought her before so they wouldn't know I suppose.'

"At ease." King Vegeta ordered as the elites stopped saluting, Bardock and Zeldora stood up as well.

"What brings you to New Vegeta my lord?" King Vegeta asked.

"The academy." Gohan said, the attention was now on him but he could tell that the energy in the room was fairly hostile. 'They must really be burning for the academy.' he thought.

"I will be on New Vegeta until the chosen few have been found."

"My lord!" Zeldora stepped forward, Gohan turned and looked at her along with all the other saiyans.

"Speak." She nodded and got down on one knee and spoke.

"I am sure you are aware that many saiyan females are vying for your attention, as the most powerful female saiyan it is no exaggeration when I say that I speak for all the female elites." She spoke and Gohan was taken aback by the words.

"Really?" He asked confused as he looked around and saw most of the female saiyans staring at him and some were glaring at Karen.

"We ask for the right to battle your mate to gain the chance to win your affection!" She stated boldly. "It is only right that a powerful female should have the right to bare your seed, forgive me for my words but she doesn't look worthy."

"What? Wait this is-" Gohan didn't get a chance to finish as Karen's attitude took a 180 from the smile.

"I'm not what!?" She glared as her eyes glowed red and the shout shattered all the windows in the palace and a few elites had their eardrums ruptured by the sound due to not being prepared for the incredibly loud sound she took a step forward and crushed the ground beneath her foot.

"You want to repeat that!?" Karen threatened.

"Woah calm down!" Gohan quickly turned to Karen who was burning with fury at the words, Zeldora's eyes narrowed as she stared at Karen who was now a very different person, she smirked.

The smirk pissed Karen off even more as she looked at Gohan. "So help me god Goha-" She didn't finish."

"Power Girl of earth!" King Vegeta spoke and gained their attention.

"Do you accept Captain Zeldora's challenge?" He asked.

"Yes." Karen said as she glared at Zeldora. "Looks like I need to show this little girl who I am."

Also my writing is quite a bit different also because I haven't touched Justice Reborn in a long WHILE so I apologize for any mistakes in the story or any inconsistencies.
