Chapter 55 The Metal Clan
Its been a week since the Earth queen incident and since Sean and Korra Learned about Zaheer and his group escaping.
Since then the group was on the move to keep Korra out of harms way.
Right now they were down on the ground to get some fresh air.
Korra was playing ball with Naga using airbending while Ruby rubbed against her stomach making her laugh.
"While you're playing fetch, Four of the most dangerous criminals in the world are hunting you down. We should get moving." Lin said.
"Relax we just landed a few minutes ago. Besides we're gonna have to settle down somewhere soon since she's due any day now." Sean said.
"He's right. Even though we got a team on board it's better that we land soon just incase something happens." Asami said.
"HEY!" Joey yelled as he and Duke ran down.
"We just got a call in about a new Airbender." Duke said.
"About time. Where is it?" Sean asked.
"Some place called Zaofu." Joey said making Lin widen her eyes.
"Oh the Metal Clan." Sean said.
"Oh thats right I forgot you brought that up when Varrick was arrested." Duke said.
"I know the ruler very well. She's an old friend. Might as well go pay her a visit." Sean said as everyone got on the airship but Lin. "Lin." Sean said.
"I don't suppose you could just come back and pick me up after you get the airbender?" Lin asked before yelling as Sean dragged her in.
"GET YOUR ASS IN!" Sean yelled kicking her in before they took off.
It wasn't long until they arrived at Zaofu.
"Whoa. The whole place is made of Metal." Mokuba said amazed.
"Not bad." Seto said.
"It feels nice to be back." Sean said.
"How did you come here?" Tristan asked.
"My mother took me around the world to learn a few things from people outside the Southern Water Tribe." Sean said.
"Oh yeah thats right. I almost forgot about that." Korra said.
Soon they landed before everyone was about to get off but Lin.
"Lin." Sean said.
"No. You can see her if you want but leave me out of it." Lin said making him sigh.
"You are such a major pain." Sean said getting off.
"Why isn't she coming?" Asami asked.
"I'll explain later." Sean said as they were greeted by some guards and someone of high class.
"Avatar Korra and Lord Kruger, it is an honor to meet you. My name is Aiwei." Aiwei said bowing.
"Thanks for having us." Korra said.
"Is this everyone?" Aiwei asked.
"Yep, just us. So can we meet the new airbender?" Korra asked.
"Of course. Right this way." Aiwei said leading them on an elevator.
Meanwhile
"Holy crap!" Kya said seeing several new Airbenders.
Roland and Fugata had managed to find every Airbender in Paradise City.
And thanks to the fact that Raiko was no longer an issue since he was in the Shadow realm there were no problems with finding them.
"Man when Tenzin sees all this he's gonna be so happy." Kya said.
"Excuse me."
Everyone turned and saw Zaheer but his head was fully shaved.
"My name is Yorru. I heard this was the place to come if you're a new airbender." Zaheer said.
"Yeah." Kya said.
"Well A couple weeks ago I woke up and could do this." Zaheer said demonstrating his new abilities.
"MOM! We found another one!" Meelo yelled.
Meanwhile
The group was on a railway heading to where their Airbender was at.
"Wow look at this place." Joey said seeing the whole place was made of Metal.
Mokuba was looking around before he spotted some trucks down below.
"Industrial Illusions?" Mokuba asked making Seto look.
"Whats Pegasus's company doing here?" Sean asked.
"Master Pegasus has been making business deals with the Metal Clan for a short while." Aiwei said.
Thats when they passed a metal Statue of Toph.
"That statue honors the first metal bender, Top Beifong. She showed Benders are more than capable of just bending the basic elements people have known since the days of old." Aiwei said.
"Does Toph live here? Are we gonna get to meet her?" Bolin asked excited.
"I'm afraid not. She used to visit from time to time, but years ago, she left to wander the world in search of enlightenment." Aiwei said.
Soon they arrived at some large estate.
"Wow. Our Airbender lives here?" Yugi asked.
"Figures it be her." Sean said as they got out.
"Her?" Tea asked.
"You'll see." Sean said as they walked inside before seeing Pegasus talking with a woman.
Thats when Sean whistled getting their attention.
"Sean? It's been a long time." She said hugging him making him laugh.
"Good to see you again Suyin. This isn't a complete social visit." Sean said.
"Ah, Little Kruger. It's been some time. I haven't seen you since your counterpart dealt with the Leviathan." Pegasus said.
"Been busy." Sean said.
"And this must be Mako, Bolin, Asami, Yugi, Joey, Tristan, Tea, Mai, Duke, Seto, Mokuba, Ishizu, Marik, Odion, Rafael, Alister and Valon." Suyin said.
"You've done your research." Seto said impressed.
"I make it my business to know these things." Suyin said before Aiwei whispered in her ear before she frowned. "Korra, why did you lie when Aiwei asked if there was anyone else with you?" Suyin questioned surprising them.
"How did you know we left someone out?" Sean asked surprised.
"I am a truth seer. When people lie, their heart rate and breathing increase. I can sense the most subtle of changes." Aiwei said.
"Is that so? Ok see if I'm lying? I fully forgive my granduncle who caused the end of the golden years of the Ancients." Sean said.
"I don't need to be a truth seer to know your lying. But not bad." Aiwei said making him laugh.
"How'd you fool him?" Joey asked.
"Your forgetting I'm half Ancient. My Biology is different compared to regular humans." Sean said.
"Anyway the person we brought is Lin Beifong." Korra said making her frown.
"Lin's here? Oh I'll give her a piece of my mind for what she pulled 2 years ago." Suyin said.
"If your referring to what she did to me I ain't stopping ya. If my brother was here he'd help you." Sean said.
"Do you two know each other?" Yugi asked.
"Your joking right?" Suyin asked.
"Hmm?" Pegasus asked. "Did Lin not tell any of you?" Pegasus asked.
"Tell us what?" Seto asked.
"Suyin is Lin's little Sister." Sean said shocking them.
"Say what? I find that hard to believe the royal hard ass is your sister." Joey said.
"Oh believe me they are related." Sean said.
Lin was on the airship waiting for the others to return.
"Lin." Suyin said making her sigh facing her but was surprised seeing her glare.
"Whats with the glare?" Lin asked.
"I want you out of my City." Suyin said shocking her.
"Excuse me?" Lin asked.
"You heard me. I don't want you taking your frustrations out on people like you did to Sean." Suyin said.
"Oh...So thats what this is about. Look I made a mistake..." Lin tried to say.
"So did I but nowhere near as bad as you did. I didn't attack someone in blind anger who did nothing wrong and try to kill that person just because he hated him for something so selfish like you did." Suyin said.
"I wasn't thinking straight. And we moved past it." Lin said.
"Partially." Sean said as they walked in without Aiwei.
"How could you not tell us you had a sister?" Tea asked.
"HALF sister." Lin corrected.
"Same mom different dads." Sean said. "Although technically Suyin was the result of a drunken one night stand and she'll admit it...OW!" Sean yelled as she pulled his ear.
"Zip it." Suyin said.
"Ok, ok." Sean said as she let go before blinking. "Oh I just fucking realized something." Sean said pulling out the Device to connect to the Titan universe before activating it as his Titan Counterpart appeared.
"Hey guys." Titan Sean said holding Kyoshi in his arms before seeing Korra's large stomach. "Oh...Expecting are we?" Titan Sean teased making her grin.
"Four in one go." Korra said.
"Ooooh! HA! My Korra had Twins on the first go. Anyway whats up?" Titan Sean asked.
"What do you know about Zaheer?" Sean asked making him frown before setting Kyoshi in her crib next to her Sister.
"Let me guess. An Airbender and just freed his allies right?" Titan Sean asked.
"You dealt with him?" Seto asked.
"I was the one who imprisoned them the first time here. The White Lotus however set him free to have something to brag about for capturing him to save their order from being disbanded." Titan Sean Said.
"So what was Zaheer after?" Yugi asked.
"He was gonna use Korra when she was a kid as bait to draw me out. Unalaq sent them for the same reason to draw Godzilla out to kill us. Fail for certain but he was enraged we accidentally killed his wife and burned Desna's face off by half back then. Zaheer and the others however had different plans." Titan Sean said.
"So Unalaq here probably sent them after us 15 years ago for different reasons." Sean said.
"What did they want?" Joey asked.
"In Zaheer's demented mind he believed that me and the others who had Titans inside us were forcing them to stay inside to use their power as we saw fit." Titan Sean said.
"Thats stupid. Clearly the other Titans would make you separate or King Godzilla for that Matter." Duke said.
"We tried to explain he was wrong but he wouldn't listen and vowed to separate us." Titan Sean said.
"Clearly he failed since you two are still together." Rafael said.
"Not...Exactly. He did succeed." Titan Sean said shocking them.
"But when we were separated I told him the same thing and he believed me and realized he had made a grave mistake and sacrificed everything he loved for nothing. Not long after though My greatest enemy Keizer returned because of Mark and Raiko nearly killed me thanks to his Oxygen destroyer. Zaheer sacrificed his life to right his wrong by helping us remerge and stopped them for good." Godzilla said.
"So thats what Dagon meant when he said Raiko from his universe nearly destroyed the world." Sean said.
"Exactly. I killed him myself after that whole ordeal was over." Godzilla said.
"Listen whatever you do do not underestimate him. Only reason Zaheer succeeded was because Mark nearly killed us with his new Mecha Godzilla. If that hadn't happened we would have won." Titan Sean said.
"What do you suggest?" Seto asked.
"I...Am going to tell the other Titans to prepare...Incase history repeats itself. I will not have the same thing happen twice." Titan Sean said before ending his transmission.
"Ok so anyway now thats cleared up we came here because of a new Airbender. I can only assume it's her." Sean said making her nod.
"You'd be right." Suyin said.
"Her?" Korra asked.
"My daughter Opal. She's your Airbender." Suyin said.
"So Lin's niece is who we're here for." Duke said.
"Oh joy." Lin said sarcastically.
"You wanna say something?" Suyin asked making her sigh.
"Ignore her." Sean said.
Soon the group was at Suyin's estate again seeing two boys playing some game with disks.
"They've gotten bigger since the last time I saw them 6 years ago." Sean said.
"Those are my youngest Wing and Wei. They're playing a game they made called Power Disk." Suyin said before Wing scored.
"Has potential for a game back in Paradise City." Seto said.
Next would be Suyin's second oldest Huan who was rather disturbing. (The Dude still gives me the creeps. UGH!)
"Oh man he's still like this?" Sean asked annoyed.
"Oh come on. I let my kids be who they are." Suyin said.
"There is such a thing is letting them go too far." Seto said.
"Oy." Sean said in agreement.
Thats when they approached a girl before Sean whistled getting her attention.
"Sean!" Opal yelled running to him and pulled him into a hug making him laugh.
"It's nice to see you again Opal." Sean said.
"Opal. Thats a beautiful name." Bolin said making her blush.
"Thanks." Opal said shaking his hand.
"I'm Bolin." Bolin said.
"Opal, But, You already knew that." Opal said blushing.
Sean and Korra looked at each other and grinned.
"At least this time his crush is on someone human unlike last time." Sean said making her giggle.
"Great we found the airbender we can take her back to the airtemple and leave now." Lin said.
"Knock it off." Sean said annoyed.
"And the woman apparently trying to abduct you is your rather selfish Aunt Lin." Suyin said making her glare.
"Really? I've always wanted to meet you. My mom has told me so many stories about you." Opal said.
"I'm sure she has." Lin said.
"So I've set all of you up in the guesthouses while Korra trains Opal." Suyin said.
"Oh, I'm sorry, But I was hoping she could train with the rest of the airbenders at the Northern temple." Korra said.
"Plus Korra is in no condition to train her since she's pregnant with Quadruplets." Sean said.
"I wouldn't mind going to the temple." Opal said.
"Nonsense. This is where Opal's home and family are. You can train her after you give birth." Suyin said.
"You know...Now that I think about it. Since this place is so secured why don't we just stay here until we find Zaheer? The place is nearly impossible to get into." Sean said.
"It would be a good place to stay until all this blows over." Korra said.
"Absolutely not! We are leaving!" Lin said.
"You don't have a say in the matter." Suyin said.
"I say we stay here since this place feels like a nice place to stay until we find Zaheer." Sean said.
"Yeah I'm up for that." Korra said making Lin growl.
Meanwhile
At Air Temple island a group of new Airbenders were practicing the same training exercise Korra once used when she first arrived.
"You call that your best?" Meelo questioned.
However thats when Zaheer went in and did it rather flawlessly.
Though not the traditional method he still made it through without getting hit.
"Not bad." Meelo said before Kya rushed to them.
"I got some great news. Tenzin is heading to the Norther airtemple. He's with a whole group of other airbenders and he wants all of you to join him." Kya said.
"And the Avatar is with them?" Zaheer asked.
"Uh no they split up since someone who came after both her and Sean 15 years ago is after them again. Last thing Sean wants to do is put her in danger when she's pregnant with quadruplets." Kya said making him raise an eyebrow not knowing that part.
"Thats a shame. I was really looking forward to meeting her." Zaheer said.
Meanwhile
The domes in Zaofu began to close to keep intruders out.
At Suyin's estate everyone was at the dining hall.
"Tonight, for your dining pleasure, I present a seared wild Kyoshi elephant Koi, paired with a ginger-infused pea tendril and hibiscus root salad."
"Wow." Joey said impressed.
"It's been a while since I've had this." Sean said eating his food.
"At least you can eat fish right now." Korra said eating something else just as good.
"Sorry we're late everyone!"
Everyone widened their eyes seeing Varrick and Zhu Li.
"What the?" Reznov said.
"Varrick!" Bolin said excited before the others glared at him.
"The hell is he doing here?" Sean asked.
"Good question Kruger. I mean...What are any of us doing here?" Varrick asked somewhat insanely before yelling in shock as he pulled him into a headlock choking him.
"I mean why aren't you in a cell?" Sean asked letting him go enough for him to talk.
"After that battle in Paradise City my cell was opened up and I was set free! Isn't it great?" Varrick asked before Sean's puzzle glowed.
"I'm sending you to the Shadow Realm." Sean said making him yell in shock.
"What for?" Suyin asked.
"Do you not know what he's done? He tried to start a civil war to make money off of it. Tried to use one of the Seven Items to make me kill Unalaq since he's a fucking moron not knowing what Item did what? Stole from Asami's company to sell Raiko her father's tanks so he could go to war in the other universe. And he was going do it all with a fucking smile on his face!" Sean yelled making her frown.
"Is that true?" Suyin asked.
"So what? War is good for business! Weapons to sell and supplies. Theres nothing wrong with it even if people die." Varrick said.
"Thats it." Sean said as his puzzle glowed making him scream in shock.
"Wait! I remember who has the necklace!" Varrick yelled stopping him.
"Hmm?" Sean asked.
"Suyin has it!" Varrick yelled.
"Necklace?" Suyin asked confused before. "Oooh. I think I know what he's talking about." Suyin said.
Suyin led them to her personal office before she opened up a box showing the Millennium Necklace.
"So you had it all along." Sean said.
"At the time I didn't know what it was and just bought it for display. When I did find out I placed it in my office. It's protected by wards to keep people like Bakura out. Can't be opened up by anyone but me or someone who has my blood." Suyin said.
"I'm impressed. You took precautions." Seto said.
"You don't get to be in my position making blind mistakes." Suyin said.
"Ok...So you saved yourself this once." Sean said dropping Varrick who breathed in relief. "But your still nothing but a greedy bastard." Sean said.
"What is wrong with business! You think I'm the only one who's done something like what I did? Hiroshi made weapons and sold them to Amon! I don't see anyone criticizing him!" Varrick yelled.
"Heres the difference between you and him. He did it because he believed they were changing the world for the better and didn't actually sell it to them for profit. You would do what he did just to make money not caring who was killed or hurt by those weapons. You would sooner blow up the world if it made you millions." Sean said making him pout.
"Well SORRY! But thats how the world works." Varrick said before Sean punched him as Lin left slamming the door.
Later
Kya was about to head to bed when she heard Ikki talking with Zaheer.
"Whats going on?" Kya asked.
"Nothing. Just getting her to bed." Zaheer said as Ikki left.
"You know you seem to know a lot about Airbenidng history for someone who's just gotten it." Kya said to Zaheer.
"I've always been fascinated with the culture." Zaheer said.
"And you moved through those gates like a natural. Where did you say you were from?" Kya asked.
"From a small village up north. You've probably never heard of it." Zaheer said as she frowned.
"Hold up...ZAHEER!" Kya yelled before using Water Bending on him but he dodged before taking Tenzin's staff and ran out the Window.
Red Eyes appeared and roared at him before trying to blast him but he dodged before Zombie dragon smacked him with his tail roaring.
"Sorry I won't be joining you at the Temple." Zeheer said flying off.
"AFTER HIM!" Harpy Lady yelled as they flew after him but the darkness helped him evade them.
"Not good." Kya said.
Meanwhile
Sean and his wives were getting in bed as Sean held Korra's stomach making her smile.
"I'm almost due any day now." Korra said.
"Don't worry. You'll be just fine." Sean said.
"So what are you gonna name them?" Tea asked.
"I haven't really thought much on that. But I'm hoping for at least one girl." Korra said.
"With four in there the odds are pretty good on that." Sean said as they fell asleep.
